"Perfect Insanity" by Disturbed plays as a video package is shown of various FGA grapplers making their way through various entranceways. The video then switches to various FGA grapplers getting kicked, punched, slammed, suplexed and dropped onto the mat.... Come inside and be afraid Of this impressive mess I've made If you take a look now you will find I have thrown away my vice Done away with paradise See what's going on inside my mind Please let me out Please let me out Please let me... After dramatic slow motion shots of various grapplers flipping off the top turnbuckle, the video switches to the Flashpoint logo as the chorus kicks in. The video fades to an outside shot of the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. We then transition inside to a wide shot of the arena. The camera then pans around, capturing the excited crowd. An FGA chant breaks out throughout several sections of the crowd... Geoff Penzer: Hello fans and welcome to the first post-Draft installment of Flashpoint! I am your host, Geoff Penzer! We are coming to you live here from the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa! We are coming to you for the first time ever right here on FX, the new home Flashpoint and Vertigo! For those of you who have been on this journey with us, then you already know what to expect. For the new viewers out there, you are in for a treat! Tonight, you will see some of the finest athletes in all of professional wrestling. In our of our featured contests, Dan Herrera - one half of the reigning World Tag Team Champions - will go one on one against a man that makes up one half of the team that will be challenging him for said titles, Logan Alexander! In our main event, newly crowned champion Johnny Karma is thrown right into the lion's den when he defends his FGA Undisputed Championship against Chandler Scott! Both of these men are at the top of their games. That is a match you will not want to miss. Also here tonight, we will finally get the return of the one and only, Cordy Stevenson! Cordy has been on the sidelines since May. I cannot tell you how excited we all are to see this talented grappler back. But before we get to that, we're kicking things off with a championship match! So let's send it to the ring where Melanie Sierra is standing by to give in the in-ring introductions... ★★★ 15 CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH ★★★ (c) Brian Stryker vs. El Stravito Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentleman, the following contest has been scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit! And it is for the FGA 15 CHAMPIONSHIP! The music starts and different colored lights flash around. Once the beat drops, El Stravito rolls out from the curtain and pops up on stage. He makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans on each side. Melanie Sierra: Introducing first, from San José, Costa Rica! Weighing in at 185 pounds… ELLLLLL STRAAAAAAVIIIIITOOOOOOO!!! El Stravito dances to his music on the ring steps before flipping over the ropes into the ring. Stravito leaps on the top turnbuckle to hype the fans as the music dies down. Geoff Penzer: El Stravito was in the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament this past Summer. But this is his first chance at an FGA championship! Can the exciting luchador make the most of this opportunity here on the first Flashpoint after the Draft!? "The following beat down has been brought to you by Dark Horse Protection. Dark Horse Protection: Protecting your ass, cause we need root beer money." "Yeah, I've made my mistake I've seen my heart cave in I got my scars I've been to hell and back again" Dark Horses by Switchfoot starts to play as the guitar intro hammers out into the arena. Brian Stryker walks out from behind the curtain, his hood up, title belt around his neck. Brian walks to the center of the stage. He gets down on one knee and runs his hand over the floor of the stage. He rises to his feet and throws his hood back, grabbing his title as he holds it above his head.. "Born for the blue skies We’ll survive the rain Born for the sunrise We’ll survive the pain" He walks down the ramp, not taking his eyes off the ring. When he gets to the steel steps, he walks up them and climbs the turnbuckle to the top. He looks out to the crowd before holding out his title as the crowd sings the chorus. "We’re singing… Hey, you can’t count us out We’ve been running up against the crowd Yeah, we are the dark horses We’re singing… Wait! It’s not over now We’ve been down but we’ve never been out Yeah, we are the dark horses" Stryker sits himself on the top turnbuckle as he looks down at his title and kisses the front plate before handing it to the ref. Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, representing Dark Horse Protections! From Maui, Hawaii! Weighing in at 215 pounds! He is the reigning and defending FGA 15 Champion! He is “The Dad of Professional Wrestling” BRIIIIIAAAAAAN STRYYYYYYYKERRRRR!!! Geoff Penzer: After being turned on by his former friend Julian Tijerina, Brian Stryker was able to get the last laugh at Trouble in Paradise when he defeated Julian Tijerina for the 15 Championship! Stryker is going to try and do what his former friend couldn’t do and that’s successfully defend the championship. Speaking of which, if you saw the memo from GM Hadley Herrera, she has stated that the 15 Champion can still cash in the title for a shot at the Pride Championship after four successful defenses. However, should the former 15 Champion win the Pride Championship, then they can either bring the title to Flashpoint or stay on Vertigo. It’s a risky gamble for both our GM as well as the challenger. For the challenger, it’s the danger of going into enemy territory to challenge for their championship. For our GM, she could be watching as one of the stars she drafted leaves for the other brand. We’ll definitely keep our eyes on that situation should it ever arise. The bell sounds as Stryker and Stravito shake hands to start the match off. Geoff Penzer: Good display of sportsmanship there to start things off... Both men proceed to circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Stryker slips on a side headlock. Stryker tries to cinch in the hold. But before he can apply it tightly, Stravito slips out and reverses into a hammerlock from behind. Stryker then quickly leans forward before reversing into a hammerlock of his own. Stravito tries to reach down and pull one of Stryker’s legs out from under him, but it’s to no avail. After faking an elbow to the face, Stravito quickly reaches back, grabs Stryker and reverses with a jumping snapmare. After Stryker gets back to his feet, Stravito rushes over at him. Stryker leapfrogs over his oncoming challenger. When Stravito returns, Stryker crouches down and performs a backward roll as Stravito does a diving roll over him. After both men return to their feet, Stravito runs back at Stryker. The 15 Champion quickly side steps and pushes Stravito into the ropes. When Stravito returns, the crowd cheers when he executes a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. As Stryker gets back to his feet, Stravito rushes over and goes for another attack. This time, Stryker ducks and dumps him over the top rope. After Stravito lands safely on his feet, Stryker nails him with a back elbow before connecting with an CSS Enzuigiri that knocks him down to the floor. While Stravito tries to pull himself up using the edge of the apron, Stryker turns and heads into the far ropes. When he comes back, the crowd cheers when he leaps over the top rope and knocks Stravito down with a high angle body press! Geoff Penzer: The high risk pays off for Stryker as he takes down Stravito! Stryker picks up Stravito and rolls him back inside before sliding back in. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stravito kicks out. Stryker picks up Stravito, wrenches his arm and delivers a hook kick to the face, sending Stravito stumbling back into the corner. Geoff Penzer: Stravito just got rocked with the First Stryke. While Stravito tries to shake out the cobwebs, Stryker runs into the corner and connects with a clothesline. The cheers continue when the champ nails Stravito with a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. Stryker then takes Stravito by the wrist and goes for an irish whip. But Stravito reverses, sending Stryker into the opposite corner. Stravito runs across the ring to attack, but he gets nailed with a back elbow strike to the face. As Stravito stumbles back, Stryker runs out of the corner to attack. But Stravito is quick to throw him down with a snapping arm drag. Stryker returns to his feet, only to get returned to the mat with another arm drag. The crowd claps for Stravito after he transitions into a kneeling armbar. The ref gets down and asks Stryker if he wants to give up. But the champ refuses. Stryker battles back to his feet. He then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and brings Stravito down to the mat with a wrist lock takedown. As Stravito gets back to a vertical base, Stryker rushes over and executes a running hurricanrana, sending Stravito through the ropes to the floor. After Stravito picks himself up on the outside, Stryker turns and runs into the far ropes. When he comes back, he sees Stravito leap up onto the apron. As Stravito springboards onto the top rope, Stryker baseball slides to the outside. But as soon as Stryker turns around, Stravito knocks him down with a moonsault to cheers and applause from the crowd! Geoff Penzer: Stravito with a perfectly timed moonsault on the champion! Stravito picks up Stryker and rolls him back inside before sliding back in. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stryker kicks out. Stravito picks up Stryker, moves him into the corner and gives him a series of chops of his own. He then brings Stryker from out of the corner and goes for an irish whip. But Stryker reverses, sending him into the ropes. When Stravito returns, he slides through Stryker’s legs. When Stryker turns around, Stravito knocks him down with a dropkick. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stryker kicks out. Stravito picks up Stryker and goes for an irish whip. But again, Stryker reverses. When Stravito returns, Stryker sets up for a back body drop. So Stravito stops in front of Stryker, turns away from him and performs a backwards roll across his back as Stryker stands up. When Stryker turns around, the crowd cheers when he gets clobbered by a spinning roundhouse kick. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Stryker gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Stryker got absolutely nailed with that roundhouse kick! He’s lucky that kick didn’t knock him out! After performing a scoop slam, Stravito hops onto the apron through the ropes and hits a slingshot senton. The cheers continue when he turns over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO Stryker gets his shoulder up. Stravito picks up Stryker and whips him into the corner. After running into the corner and connecting with a knife edge chop, Stravito follows up with a reverse discus elbow to the face. He then moves Stryker out of the way as he hoists himself up onto the middle ropes. After placing Stryker in a front facelock, Stravito plants him with a Tornado DDT. The challenger crawls over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! The crowd cheers when Stryker gets his shoulder up. Stryker holds up three fingers at the ref while he yells out “¡TRES!” But the ref shakes his head and confirms that it was only a two count. Stravito places his hands on his head in disbelief. Stravito picks up Stryker, whips him into the ropes and leaps up for a hurricanrana. But Stravito throws it out too early, allowing Stryker to hang onto the ropes. Thankfully for Stravito, he doesn’t crash onto his back. Instead, he’s able to flip in the air and land safely on his feet. Stravito rushes over to attack Stryker. But Stryker ends up dumping him over the top rope. After Stravito lands safely on the apron, he knocks Stryker back with a forearm shot to the face. He goes to follow up with a springboard dropkick. But Stryker sidesteps, swats him down and follows up with a standing Shooting Star Splash across the back. The cheers continue as he pulls Stravito over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stravito gets his shoulder up. Stryker picks up Stravito and goes for a vertical suplex. But Stravito is able to slip down from behind. He then lifts up Stryker for a German Suplex. But Stryker counters with a back elbow to the face. After being lowered back down to the mat, Stryker hits another quick back elbow to the face before performing a standing switch and delivering Stryke 2 (leg-hook Saito Suplex). While Stravito’s down, Stryker turns and points to the top turnbuckle. Upon hearing the cheers from the crowd, Stryker heads out onto the apron before heading to the top turnbuckle… Geoff Penzer: Stryker’s heading to the top! He wants to put this one awa- Just as Stryker gets one foot on the top turnbuckle, Stravito runs up the turnbuckles, grabs Stryker and throws him down with a top rope arm drag. As a hunched over Stryker tries to get back to his feet, Stravito rushes over, hops onto his back and delivers a sunset flip powerbomb to cheers and applause from the crowd. ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO! The crowd gasps, then cheers when Stryker gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Stryker barely avoids the three count! Stravito picks up Stravito and whips him into the ropes. When Stryker returns, Stravito brings him down with a hurricanrana. The luchador then heads into the corner and slaps the top turnbuckle repeatedly to get the crowd hyped up. With the Des Moines crowd at a fever pitch, Stravito begins to climb the turnbuckles. Once he reaches the top turnbuckle, Stryker rushes into the corner and shoves Stravito’s legs out from under him, crotching him across the top turnbuckle. While Stravito continues to howl in pain, Stryker climbs up onto the top ropes, grabs Stravito from behind and throws him down with a Spider Suplex. With Stravito sprawled out on the mat, Stryker sits back up, stands on the top turnbuckle and turns around before flipping off for the Air Stryker (Shooting Star Press). At the last second, Stravito rolls out of the way, causing Stryker to crash onto the canvas! Geoff Penzer: NOBODY WAS HOME! STRYKER’S DOWN AND HE’S NOT GETTING BACK UP! After Stryker turns over onto his back, Stravito pulls himself up using the ropes. He then quickly scales to the top turnbuckle before flipping off for the Suicida (Phoenix Splash). But Stryker is able to get his knees up! Geoff Penzer: Stryker blocked! Stravito bounces off of Stryker’s knees before curling up in pain. The luchador continues to howl in pain as he guards his midsection. After Stravito slowly picks himself back up, Stryker scoops him up across his shoulders from behind before throwing him down with the Kilauea Explosion (argentine powerbomb)! The cheers continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd cheers when “Dark Horse” hits the speakers. Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner and STILL your FGA 15 Champion, BRIAN STRYKER!!! The cheers continue as Stryker gets handed the 15 Championship. Stryker raises the belt in the air to more cheers from the crowd. Geoff Penzer: Brian Stryker kicks off this new era of Flashpoint with a win over El Stravito! What an exciting match we just witnessed and we’ve still got tons of action to come. Later on tonight, Dan Herrera, one half of the FGA World Tag Team Champions, will take on one half of the Chaotics, Logan Alexander! We’ve got the return of former Cordy Stevenson! And in the main event, new FGA Undisputed Champion Johnny Karma defends his championship against Chandler Scott! But coming up next, Mark Storm returns to action when he goes one on one with Yun Goeun! ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

"Ahhh, ahh, ahhhhh! Ahhh, ahh, ahhhhh! So sick of sitting around, there's so much to do So jump abroad and let's look at you." Drive By Me's "Kerosine Dreams" starts up as Izzy Anders stroll onto the stage. She stares around the arena, taking a brief bow to mock the crowd's disdain for the Dreamkiller. Once she is done there, she readjusts and brings up her middle fingers to the people that share the same hatred she has for them. She lowers them down and starts on her way down the ramp. The yellow and red lights cross her face, which give Izzy a sparkle with the many metals upon her gear. Geoff Panzer: Here comes Izzy Anders, the now former FGA Undisputed Champion. She tried everything in her book, every trick, but it didn’t get her win at Trouble in Paradise. On a night where every single member of Heroes Never Die lost, the crowning moment was the finale to the hateful feud that Izzy had with Johnny Karma. On Twitter, she spoke of how she was owed a rematch. Despite anything she says or does, she’s right. Izzy ascends the turnbuckle, her eyepatch clear as day. She grabs onto it, ripping it off with a dramatic elegance. The eye under it burns brightly with a shade of red, thanks the lighting fixture. She looks up to the cascading lights with her eyes closed. She draws in the atmosphere before leaping off the turnbuckle into the ring. She takes off her coat and flings it towards the stagehands with an elegant flair. She then stands in the center of the ring with her arms out; she cries out to the audience, insulting them all the while. The Mindkiller then takes a seat a little off center of the ring, at the very tip of her corner. She sits there with her legs crossed, glaring at the entire arena. She has a microphone in her hand. Izzy Anders: It happened, everyone. The crowd starts to cheer as they know what she means. Her downfall is so loudly cheered that the arena rumbles. Izzy lolls her tongue in her mouth, before giving a long gaze out to the crowd. Izzy Anders: Yes, yes, cheer, cheer, Johnny Karma finally got what he wanted. He got me in a cage, he got to beat me down, and he got his sweet revenge. Even more so, he got the FGA Undisputed Championship. The cinderella story came full circle, and well--- Before she can continue, the crowd starts to chant loudly. “JOHNNY KARMA!”
“JOHNNY KARMA!”
“JOHNNY KARMA!” Izzy Anders: IT MIGHT ALL COME TO AN END TONIGHT! The crowd turns to jeers just as fast as they started to cheer. Izzy smirks wryly, taking a moment to let them boo the possible reality. Not so much because of Chandler Scott, but because of Izzy’s acknowledgment of it. Izzy Anders: Wow, you guys don’t want Chandler Scott to win? They boo louder, but they are some cheers in there. Izzy Anders: I thought he was the knight in shining armor! Or is that Karma? What happens if Chandler wins? Will you turn on him too? Man, all I had to do is mention the possibility and all of you turned that quickly. She snaps her fingers, before shrugging. Izzy Anders: See? Fickle, all of you. But hey, we all know that. So let me get to what I came out here to say. Izzy waits for the crowd to hush down a little before continuing. Izzy Anders: I have a rematch clause, and I have to wait in line for it. Chandler Scott and, uh, bitch ass Dom over on Vertigo get a title shot before I get mine. It’s not like I didn’t carry this company on my back for the past few months. It’s not like I got all of you to tune in and show up to these arenas just to watch me either fail or win. But I don’t get what I want because I happen to be an outspoken person. Do any of you remember what I originally came back to FGA to do? Izzy Anders: I came back to change FGA by burning it to the crowd. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do that. I think I led FGA to a new network, but that’s okay. As I held that FGA Undisputed Champion, I made everything go my way. I started to bring change to FGA. I brought three women in the fold that were used and abused by FGA--and wrestling as a whole--and made them a lethal team. We had all the power to do what we needed to do, but unfortunately, no, we had the cards stacked against us. I had the cards seriously stacked against me. Izzy Anders: I win out against Karma on the biggest stage FGA has. I don’t get where you all get off. I remember when Carmine, Chandler, and so many others used to do the same mess I did, but they didn’t get in trouble. Matter of fact, the two men I mentioned got world title matches for it. I won’t even get into the nonsense that will happen over there on Vertigo now. We literally have a group that came back not to destroy FGA like they originally wanted, but to [CENSORED]. Izzy pauses right there, looking down to the microphone. Izzy Anders: I realize that the censor team will be on the button more than ever now. All of that tirade leads back to the hypocrisy that is FGA and its treatment of its roster. You will all see it continue to happen in a place that puts wrestling first. This little snub, where I cannot get my rematch against Karma, is one of the many times that FGA has screwed me over. Izzy Anders: Let’s see now. We have the time where FGA continued to stack the deck against me when I was the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion. I had so much wear and tear, hauling that championship around that it became a curse. No one cared about what happened to me, which was well-documented and spoken of, so I won’t go. Hey, you all remember when Dom Harter had somehow the right to dictate that I didn’t get my other rematch against Annie Zellor? It’s okay, I can see why he did that. He did to protect her so that he could beat her. There’s a lot of reasons that can go into why FGA agreed to that. I like to say that it was because they didn’t want me to beat Annie Zellor again. Just last month, I proved that. Izzy Anders: It’s just these constant things that FGA continue to do to try to make sure that someone who actually sees, confronts, and tries to end the [censored] that goes on here doesn’t get that chance. The system sucks, and I tried my hardest. I put my blood, sweat, and my tears into trying to do this, but the key moment that proved to me that it wasn’t ever going to happen was...a few months ago. Johnny Karma gets a rematch that he truly didn’t deserve. They throw me in a cage with him and outlined everything for me to lose on that night. I cannot say that it was all their fault, since I’m the one that couldn’t win on that night, but that situation shouldn’t have happened. A lot of situations that happen in this [censored] ass company comes from the management desk. Izzy pauses, which allows the whole audience to go back in on her. Boos and chants riddle her, but Izzy doesn’t falter. “FUCK YOU, IZZY!”
“FUCK YOU, IZZY!”
“FUCK YOU, IZZY!” Izzy Anders: Oh, shut up, you didn’t even let me finish. I didn’t come out here to invoke the rematch clause, because I know that I won’t win. I won’t win because FGA will try to stop me. I get it, I’m rude and I’m loud. I have the guts to say the things that some of our other top brass will not say. No one will talk about how many people have gotten brutally hurt. Like Cordy, even though FGA let Chris Q get away with almost ending her career. Or Chandler, who had to get his own hands dirty when Page almost beat Emily’s head in--congratulations, by the way, chica. So even if I did get my rematch and became a TWO-TIME, TWO-TIME champion, it wouldn’t mean that I won. They’d give Karma another shot and tell me that I had to tie my hands behind my back. Izzy Anders: So I’m not doing that. I’m going to tell the truth. A beat. Izzy Anders: This...this crusade, as I would call it, doesn’t matter. Izzy drags her thumb across her eye, her eyes reddening as tears softly well there. Izzy Anders: Oh gosh, am I crying? She checks to reaffirm. Izzy Anders: I’m so messed up that I’m out here crying, but don’t let that fool you. I’m here to tell you that, FGA… Izzy Anders: You won. One, two, three, you got me. I’ve had enough of this nonsense. I’ve lost out on so much that I forgotten that I liked wrestling. When I went to SSWA and SAP, I found that love again. I love the competition. I love the aspects of it, but here in FGA, I forget it so much. I had forgotten why I came here to begin with. This place was the birthplace of Izzy Anders, but I hate this place so much. And I tried to fight so much, but I lost. And I’m tired of fighting. Her voice drops all its angry intensity. Izzy Anders: I lost so many friends and I lost all the respect that I had for myself and from others as a valid competitor. You heard all of it, didn’t you? Despite me being undefeated this year up until Trouble in Paradise and being a dominant force since I’ve gotten here...you all forgot that. Karma and the others would label me liar and cheater, and I lost all that respect. I lost my identity. She pauses. Izzy Anders: I even lost Cordy. There’s a cheer over the acknowledgment of Cordy Stevenson. Izzy Anders: We were close, and I messed that up. Izzy, at this point, was holding back tears. She stood up, squinting her eyes to stop everything from flushing out. Izzy Anders: This crusade was worth nothing in the end, and I have to apologize. I don’t need you all to accept it or whatever, but it’s something that I need to do. I’m sick and I need to make things right in my own head. So...Mr. Asherman, can you come out here please? There’s a silence as anticipation grows for the arrival of the Executive Committee member. Izzy doesn’t stare up the ramp, but the cheers confirms her wants. Leonard T. Asherman makes his way down the ramp, looking a little confused about the matter. He gets in the ring slowly, sensing something was off, but when Izzy makes her way to her corner, he relaxed. Leonard has a microphone in his hand, which he brings slowly to his lips. Izzy brings up her hand. Izzy Anders: Don’t. He stops for a moment, but brings it up anyways. Leonard T. Asherman: Ms. Anders, I’m afraid I don’t understand why you brought me out here. Izzy Anders: Because I want to apologize to you. Since you’re the only committee member that we have a name and a face of, so you can take it back to them. Leonard squints. Izzy Anders: I’ve said so much about you and your group. I spewed some much hatred about you and I didn’t realize that everything that has happened came from within me. Maybe I was disgruntled that I didn’t have what it took to beat Cordy or whatever. I just know that it wasn’t right of me and I wanted to make amends to you. There is a pause between them. Izzy stares at Leonard the whole while, who gives Izzy another inquisitive look. Izzy Anders: I’m sorry. Izzy comes forward with her hand out to him. Leonard doesn’t immediately take it. Despite the booing not to do so, he does. It’s an awkward shake on his part, but she shows sincerity in that. Leonard T. Asherman: Look, Ms. Anders, we have no issue with you at all. Your actions have spoken for themselves, and I’m glad that you have come to this conclusion. You’re welcome to a rematch clause when you’re well and ready, but the cards have already been set. I’m not sure what to tell you. Izzy Anders: I don’t care about that. Also, Leonard-- Izzy stares at the mat. Izzy Anders: I wasn’t just apologizing for what I have done. I’m also apologizing for what I’m about to do. Before Leonard can realize what exactly was going to happen until it was too late. Izzy brings her boot into his chest with such force that he falls into the turnbuckle and into the mat. He coughs roughly as Izzy hovers over him. Izzy Anders: You see, you’re a figurehead of all the things wrong in FGA. I commend your bravery from coming out here to see me, but that was your mistake. I’m a woman that doesn’t care anymore. You took everything away from me and stripped me down to what I am now. You made money off my misery. Izzy “politely” reaches down and brings him up. Izzy Anders: Since I don’t care-- She slaps him once, further disorienting the committee member. She even leans her head back before spitting in his face, which garners a horrific response from the crowd. Izzy Anders: I know that this will get me fired, but that’s okay. Doors are never closed around here. I know that much. Tell Chris Q that I said “I will see him soon in the offices”. Izzy lets go and hits a Capetown Sunset on Leonard, dropping him to the mat directly onto his head. Leonard weakly defends his head from any other attack. Izzy stands over him, cracking her neck. She slowly brings herself back to the mat, watching as Leonard writhes from the direct kick to the head. She busted his lip open off the kick, causing blood to rush out of his mouth. Izzy holds the microphone to her lips with a dead expression on her face. Izzy Anders: Goodbye, FGA, I hope you all have fun with all the crap that’s about to happen while I’m gone. Just maybe...maybe I’ll show up to HKW or something next. Izzy stands up, keeping her complete focus on Leonard. She shrugs and brings him up once more. She aims, tapping the end of the microphone on her forehead. Without any care in the world, she floors him again with a hard shot of the microphone. After which, she looks down to see him lose consciousness. Izzy Anders: It’s been real. She drops the microphone down on Leonard’s chest and jumps the barricade. She saunters off through the gaps in the crowd, getting pelted with trash and other things as she disappears to the back. People rush to help the bleeding man on the mat. ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

We cut to a screen in the backstage area, where Amanda Johnson stands by, smile on her face and a microphone in hand as she addresses the audience.
Amanda Johnson: Ladies and gentlemen, at this time, via satellite, I’d like to introduce my guest… Evan Envi.
We cut to a second screen to a loud, mixed reaction from the live audience. Evan Envi can be seen, decked in a bright purple, silk robe-- and slippers-- back turned to the camera as he gazes at a trophy case inside the basement of his own Henderson, Nevada home. Hands on his hips, he continues to gaze at the case-- the contents of which are obscured by his body while Amanda continues.
Amanda Johnson: Evan. Evan, can you hear me?
Evan Envi sighs, nodding a little.
Evan Envi: I do, Amanda.
Amanda Johnson: Good. Evan, I wanted to talk about a few things with you tonight during the broadcast, but first and foremost-- a lot of people have been asking, why you were such a late pick in the draft? As some people have pointed out across social media… you’ve allegedly been notoriously difficult to work with in the past. Do you think your behavior might have played a part in your pick? What happened.
Evan Envi: Say the number.
Amanda Johnson: Excuse me?
Evan takes a deep breath, back still turned to the camera.
Evan Envi: Say… the number…
Amanda hesitates, even as many in the audience delightedly shout ”FORTY-SEVEN!” at the top of their lungs.
Amanda Johnson: You were pick number… forty-seven.
This inexplicably earns a pop from the audience, and Envi nods a little, eyes still on the trophy case.
Evan Envi: Forty-seven, Amanda. Forty-seven. That’s something I’ve had to come to terms with. That’s something… I’ll always have to live with.
Amanda Johnson: And we’re here to figure out why that was; to figure out why somebody that even Chandler Scott, the number one contender to the Undisputed Champion, has praised for their talent, would draw such a late--
Evan Envi: Ask Hadley.
Amanda Johnson: I’d like your take on it.
Evan nods again, an acidic laugh escaping his lips. He scratches the back of his neck with a finger, taking a moment to find a response.
Evan Envi: The reason, Amanda, that I was the last pick in the first-ever FGA draft…
A long pause. Silence.
Evan Envi: ...doesn’t matter. Do you know what I’m seeing when I look at the trophy case in my own house right now?
There is another pause, with Amanda knowing she’s not needed for a response.
Evan Envi: I see championships from five… six… seven years ago. I see pictures of a kid with no experience and no battles written anywhere on his face. But that kid was successful. Somehow. And I can’t explain it. It was a good model to follow. It was my my own model, Amanda, and it paid off for me for so long. It got my foot in the door in so many main events.
A breath.
Evan Envi: But that’s as far as it got me. In the door. And then shown right back out. So… when I look at this case… and I see the dust… it bugs me.
Evan turns his head a bit, but still doesn’t quite face the camera.
Evan Envi: I’ve been following the kid’s model. I’ve been trying to do the same thing for years. And that’s… insane. So I’ve been thinking about what’s best, moving forward. I’ve been thinking about what’s best for the Chief.
Amanda Johnson: And what would that be?
Evan stands there in silence for another few moments. He turns back, fully to the trophy case, back of his head still to the camera. Without another word, Envi turns and walks out of frame, exiting the scene. The camera focuses on the trophy case, which does indeed have various championships from other, older promotions lying to the side, just outside of focus, with most of the center of the case left vacant. Slowly, however, we pan up toward the wall above the case, which prominently features the custom-made purple, #47 “Chief” jersey, earning a roar from the audience as the scene fades.

★★★ SINGLES MATCH ★★★ Mark Storm vs. Yun Goeun Geoff Penzer: Ladies and gentlemen, before this break, we thought that Yun Goeun’s stablemate Izzy Anders was coming out here to make a formal apology to executive committee member Leonard T. Asherman. Instead, it was a trap that Asherman unknowingly walked into. I don’t care what issues she might have with him or this company as a whole. But those actions were premeditated and uncalled forl! There is no place for that here in Frontier Grappling Arts! I would say that Anders should be ashamed of herself. But knowing her, she’s probably proud of what she did and doesn’t think she even did anything wrong! "They say, I have no answers... They see me as a problem child. I'm just young and free. (Ay Ay) They say, I don't listen. I should say the same thing. What chu know 'bout me? (Huh?) They say that I'm crazy. Its okay, everybody is crazy. Why not me? (Ay Ay) They say, that I'll never make it. But all I want to be is myself." "FxxK Wit Us" by Lee Hi plays over the PA system as Yun Goeun comes out from the back to a chorus of boos. Yun smirks and ignores the boos as she walks down to the ring. Yun continues to make her way to the ring, not once even so much as looking to the fans. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Seoul, South Korea… YUN GOEUN!!! As Yun reaches the ring she slides in and quickly walks to her corner and sits down, crossing her legs as she does, leaning back against the lower turnbuckle. "Short Change Hero" by The Heavy begins to play through the speakers and the lights in the arena simultaneously dim down. Smoke begins to rise from the top of the stage and appearing on the screen above are the following words; YOUR HERO, AND MINE A massive pop ensues as emerging from the back is the self proclaimed "Prince of CHAOS", Mark Storm; who keeps himself composed as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp. He can't help but allow his sadistic signature smirk to appear upon his lips as he closes his eyes and spreads his arms out wide, soaking in the energy that the audience are giving him as they applaud and cheer. Melanie Sierra: And her opponent, from New York, Brooklyn! Weighing in at 220 pounds! He is “Your Hero and Mine” MAAAAAARK STOOOORRRRM!!! He begins his walk down the entrance ramp, with a leather coat completing his attire as he comes down the entrance ramp. This ain't no place for no hero. This ain't no place for no better man. This ain't no place for no hero To call "home." At this point, Storm is by the edge of the ring; allowing a smile to embed on his face before he jumps onto the apron and holds onto the ropes, using them to help himself up onto the turnbuckle. He's grinning from ear to ear, soaking in the rest of the cheers coming from the audience, shaking his head sideways as he lowers it, before jumping into the ring. Taking off his leather coat, he hands it to the ring announcer before walking over to his designated corner and hoisting himself up onto the second ropes, a smirk upon his lips as he holds his arms up; his theme song slowly diminishing. Geoff Penzer: Up next is Mark Storm, who is returning to FGA action after being eliminated in the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament. His opponent tonight will be Yun Goeun, who is coming off a loss as well from Trouble in Paradise against Noelle Smith. It’ll be interesting to see how these two former title contenders bounce back from some recent tough losses. The bell sounds as Storm goes to start things off with a collar-and-elbow. But Yun calmly ducks underneath it and makes her way over towards the ropes. Geoff Penzer: Yun Goeun trying to get inside the head of Mark Storm early. After both grapplers circle the ring, they inch towards each other and motion for another lock up. But at the last second, Yun ducks underneath the collar-and-elbow. Storm’s had enough of Yun’s games and goes after her. But she quickly runs over and wraps her arms around the ropes, forcing the ref to move Storm back. The crowd boos as Yun can be seen shooing Storm away from her. Geoff Penzer: Yun hasn’t had the success that she would have liked in her own matches. But she’s definitely been a factor this summer, from helping Anders retain the championship against Johnny Karma, as well as helping Heroes Never Die in their gang attacks on the likes of Chandler Scott and Noelle Smith. Once the ref has moved Storm across the ring, Yun smirks as she finally lets go of the ropes. Both grapplers proceed to circle the ring before finally locking up. After jockeying for position, Storm easily moves Yun across the ring and against the ropes. While Storm as Yun pressed against the ropes, the ref gives them until the count of five to break it up. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Both grapplers make a clean break. However, boos begin to fill the arena when Yun rakes Storm across the eyes. She then grabs Storm and tosses him through the ropes before running into the far ropes. As Storm pulls himself up on the apron using the ropes, Yun runs across the ring and connects with a yakuza kick, sending Storm flying off the apron and to the floor. The boos continue as Yun heads into the corner, climbs up onto the top turnbuckle and crouches down. Once Storm gets to his feet and turns around, Yun stands up on the top turnbuckle, leaps off and knocks him down with a missile dropkick! Geoff Penzer: Yun takes out Storm with a big dropkick to the outside! Yun picks up Storm and rolls him back in before sliding back in to make the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Storm kicks out. Yun picks up Storm, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Storm around, Yun blasts him with three knife edge chops to the chest before slapping the taste right out of his mouth. The boos continue as she takes Storm and goes for an irish whip. But Storm reverses, sending Yun into the corner. Storm charges across the ring to attack. But he gets turned around by a boot to the face. As Storm staggers away from the corner, Yun runs up from behind for a bulldog. But Storm is able to shove her off into the ropes. When Yun returns, the crowd cheers when Storm knocks her down with a dropsault. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Yun kicks out. Storm picks up Yun and whips her into the ropes. When Yun returns, Storm sets up for a back body drop. But Yun is able to block with a kick to the face. While Storm stands up and covers his face, Yun turns and runs back into the ropes. When she returns, Storm goes to take her head off with a discus clothesline. But Yun rolls underneath it. When Storm turns around, Yun knocks him down to a knee after a front dropkick to the leg. After she returns to her feet, she quickly follows up with a step-up enzuigiri. The bo0s continue as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Storm kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Yun proved to be too elusive for Storm during that exchange. Yun picks up Storm and whips him into the corner. She then runs across the ring, connects with a spinning heel kick, rolls over the top rope, lands on the apron and kicks Storm’s leg out from under him. With Storm is a seated position, Yun slingshots herself back into the ring before connecting with a running front dropkick to the face. She then drags Storm from out of the corner and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Storm kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Another nearfall or Seoul City’s Baddest Female! Yun picks up Storm, moves him into the ropes and delivers another knife edge chop. After delivering another chop, she slaps Storm across the face. Storm tries to return the favor. But Yun quickly ducks and follows up with another slap. The boos continue as she takes Storm and whips him into the far ropes. When Storm returns, Yun throws out another yakuza kick. This time, Storm catches her foot. After swinging Yun’s leg away from him, Storm knocks her down with a big boot. The cheers continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Yun gets her shoulder up. Storm picks up Yun and whips her into the ropes. When Yun returns, Storm goes for a back body drop. But Yun slips down from behind. After hooking Storms’ arms from behind, the crowd boos when Yun drives him down with the Billionaire Bust (The Stroke). The boos continue as she pushes over Storm and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Storm gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Just when it looked like Storm was about to get back in this match, Yun cut him right off and stopped his momentum! Yun brings Storm back to his feet, doubles him over with a boot to the midsection and follows up with a single knee facebuster. While Storm is dazed, Yun turns and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she leaps up for a Lou Thesz Press. But Storm catches her in mid air, turns and throws her down with a spinebuster. Cheers fill the arena while both grapplers are down. Geoff Penzer: Great counter to the Lou Thesz there by Storm! Storm picks up Yun and delivers a vertical suplex lifted dropped into a hangman's neckbreaker. After returning to his feet, Storm hits the ropes. When he comes back, he delivers a standing Shooting Star Press. He hooks the leg for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Yun gets her shoulder up. Storm picks up Yun and whips her into the ropes. When Yun returns, she slides through Storm’s legs. When Storm turns around, Yun throws out a wild roundhouse kick. But Storm ducks, grabs her from behind, lifts her up and slams her down with a sitout face slam. He turns over and hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Yun gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Another nearfall for Storm. Storm picks up Yun and lifts her up for a vertical suplex. But on the way up, Yun knees him in the head. After getting lowered back down to the mat, Yun quickly reverses into a small package. ONE! . . TWO! . . Storm kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Yun nearly stole a win there! After both grapplers return to their feet, Yun rushes over at Storm. But Storm stuns her with a back elbow strike to the face. He then delivers two open palm strikes to the face, followed by a shoot kick to the thigh, followed by a spinning backfist, followed by a discus clothesline that turns Yun inside out. The crowd cheers as Storm turns her over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Yun gets her shoulder up. Storm picks up Yun and whips her into the ropes. When Yun returns, Storm throws out a clothesline. But Yun ducks and runs into the far ropes. When Yun returns, Storm throws out another clothesline. But again, Yun ducks before heading into the ropes. When Yun comes back, she leaps up onto his shoulders and flips back for a hurricanrana. But Storm blocks it. The crowd cheers as Storm pulls her back up, hoists her up and throws her down with an elevated sitout powerbomb. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! The crowd boos when Yun gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: How was that not three!? Storm picks up Yun, grabs her around the waist and lifts her up for a gutwrench sitout powerbomb. But as soon as Yun is lifted onto his shoulders, she nails him with several elbow shots to the head. After slipping down in front of Storm, Yun turns and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she sees Storm run past her. So she slams on the brakes. When Yun turns around, Storm brings her down with the Storm Search (springboard cutter). The cheers continue as Storm picks up Yun, lifts her up across his shoulders and delivers Dystopia (GTS)! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd cheers when “Short Change Hero” hits the speakers. Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner, MARK STORM! The cheers continue when Storm gets his arm raised. Geoff Penzer: We haven’t seen Mark Storm in an FGA ring in a couple of weeks. But he picked up right where he left of as he picks up a win here on the post-Draft edition of Flashpoint!

The show cuts backstage to where Amanda Johnson is standing by. Amanda Johnson: Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time, the FGA World Tag Team Champions, the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad! With that, Amanda looks to her right as Dan Herrera and Peaches both walk into shot. They stand next to each other on Amanda’s right side; both are dressed in their ring attire ahead of their matches later tonight, with their title belts hung over their shoulders. Huge smiles on each of their faces as they greet Amanda. Dan Herrera: Always a pleasure, Amanda. Amanda Johnson: First things first, this is the first Flashpoint since the draft, and you two were drafted at number eleven. But tonight you’re in singles action: Peaches against Ricky Valero, and Dan you’ll be against one of the winners of the Dynamic Duos tournament, Logan Alexander. How are you two feeling right now? The tag champs share a quick glance at one another before Peaches speaks up first. Peaches: Damn, we’re excited to be here, Amanda; representing Flashpoint in what’s gonna be a battle for supremacy against Vertigo. Dan Herrera: That about sums it up. And for a change - like you said - we’re back in singles actions tonight! Got to show these guys that the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad don’t always need to rely on each other to get the job done in that ring. Peaches: You mean you ain’t gotta carry me to no more wins? She laughs, playing off the jab Ricky Valero threw her way earlier this week. Amanda Johnson: Well first up, Peaches, you’re going one on one against Ricky Valero. You’ve got to be nervous facing such an esteemed wrestler. Peaches: Oh yeah, definitely. I ain’t gonna lie an’ say this is gonna be an easy win - not unless I’m tryna get under Ricky’s skin anyway. Peaches smirks and shrugs her shoulders. Peaches: But that tough loss against James Edwards at Trouble in Paradise don’t mean he’s not an amazing wrestler. A six man tag loss at All Star Showdown don’t mean he’s not an amazing wrestler; Ricky’s gone out there week in, week out for God knows how many years now an’ he’s put on more great matches than I count. I ain’t gonna take that away from him… She looks towards Dan again, who just nods in approval. Peaches: But I ain’t just gonna lie down so he can get back on his feet. Just ‘cause he’s a great wrestler don’t mean he’s got that momentum; he’s had the wind knocked outta his sails so many times lately, an’ that’s what I’m countin’ on. That’s what I need, ‘cause I ain’t wrestled too many singles matches lately an’ while Ricky Valero might be considered outta my league on his best days … but he ain’t ridin’ that high at the moment. So one slip up an’ maybe Ricky takes another loss. Dan Herrera: You won’t need to rely on him making a mistake. I have faith Peaches can beat Ricky, just like I have faith that I can defeat Logan Alexander later this evening. Because while we’re the FGA World Tag Team Champions-- Peaches: --an’ beatin’ the best teams FGA has to offer! Dan Herrera: Exactly. We’re still accomplished singles wrestlers in our own right. For over four years - four years - I’ve been here in FGA. Gone up against some of the biggest names, the toughest wrestlers, champions and hall of famers alike… Amanda Johnson: And now you’re up against one of the winners of the Dynamic Duos - which reminds me! Are you finally going to tell us what you feel about The Chaotics, now that the Dynamic Duos is finally over? ???: Our ears are burning! The camera pans away from the FGA Tag Team Champions, allowing for a pop as the aforementioned Chaotics stroll into frame, Ashlyn De Luca visible first, dressed in a months-old navy “Shmurda” tee designed by Flashpoint’s new GM Hadley Herrera, with Logan Alexander, already in his gear and competition-ready, only a step behind. Ashlyn De Luca: Logan said it was rude, but I was eavesdropping. Being new around here, I wanted to make sure there was absolutely nothing I would… Ashlyn’s eyes lock directly with Peaches’ for a moment and she pauses before smiling softly at the Tag Champion. Ashlyn De Luca: ...miss. Suuuup, Peaches? Sup, Dan? Some fairly decent eavesdropping has led us to believe that y’all had a word or two. Perhaps about us. We weren’t tryna interrupt, just tryna hear. For the moment, Logan seems content to let Ashlyn do the talking. He remains a step behind her, smiling pleasantly towards Dan and Peaches. The champions smile at one another before they speak up again. Peaches: Just tryna hear, huh? Dan Herrera: Or just eager to find out what we think of you? Herrera asks, his gaze drifting between Ashlyn and Logan. Dan Herrera: I won’t keep you waiting any longer: we’re glad you won. We’ll be happy to face The Chaotics at the next pay-per-view. Peaches: An’ we’re happy Ashlyn De Luca won another tournament. What’s that you’ve won now, Dynamic Duos and the Young Guns Cup? Ashlyn nods, acknowledging her successes so far this year. Not to mention the SSWA World title, and HKW Bloodlust title that she currently holds. Peaches nods too, stepping closer to Ashlyn as she speaks again. Peaches: Winnin’ tournaments: that’s one of them things you do better than me, huh? Logan raises an eyebrow in amusement but Ashlyn simply laughs a little with a shrug, looking at everyone involved before her eyes settle back on Peaches with a wink. Ashlyn De Luca: I mean, yeah… one of ‘em. That and picking tag team partners. It’s unclear whether De Luca means the comment lightheartedly or not, earning an ”OOOOHHH!” from the audience, though she shoots playful, harmless punches toward Peaches and Dan who laugh off the joke. Dan shakes his head slightly, but maintains his pleasant demeanor. Peaches: I dunno, I think the results speak for themselves! Peaches slaps the belt on her shoulder a couple of times; she’s sure Ashlyn knows all about the two reigns the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad had as Twin City Wrestling Texas Tag champs, so she doesn’t need to mention them...again. Ashlyn’s eyes drift toward the FGA Tag Team Championship before casually back toward Peaches while Logan speaks up. Logan Alexander: Well, soon enough we’ll all have a chance to try and prove which side is the better in that regard. You two have a rather impressive history behind your team. Meanwhile, we might be a less tenured team, but our accomplishments to this point do speak for themselves. Of course, that’s not what tonight is going to be about. Peaches: Ain’t gonna deny that... Logan looks towards Dan. Logan Alexander: I am certainly looking forward to locking up with you later on tonight. I always enjoy a challenge… and I know that you’ll offer me an interesting one out there. Dan Herrera: It’s what I do every time I step into that ring, Logan, and tonight won’t be any different. So I’ll see you out there later, and these two? Dan and Logan both look towards their respective tag partners; Ashlyn and Peaches are staring at each other, their gazes not wavering despite their partner’s attention. Dan Herrera: I’m sure they’ll find a way to settle whatever issues they’ve got too. Logan Alexander: Hopefully without getting too crazy while we’re away. Logan returns his gaze to Dan. Logan Alexander: So then… He steps closer and extends a hand towards Dan as pan in on the two soon-to-be opponents. Logan Alexander: May the better man win. The two slowly lock hands to a pop from the crowd, but we pan out again, showing that Ash’s eyes have drifted back toward the championship belt on Peaches’ shoulder. Ashlyn’s eyes drift toward Logan and Dan and she sighs loudly. Ashlyn De Luca: ...god...damnit… Peaches, we’re having some kind of fight back here. I don’t even care what it is. Imma find some cards or some Gameboy Colors or something. I’ll find you back here soon. Logan-- Ashlyn looks at Logan and Dan who are still engaged in a stern, but respectful handshake-eye-lock hybrid. She blinks hard, looking between the two before slapping Logan’s arm. Ashlyn De Luca: Logan, bow out. Bow out of this handshake. Logan smirks as he glances sidelong towards Ashlyn. Logan Alexander: You deal with your side of things your way, and I’ll do the same with mine. Ashlyn places her hands on her hips, looking away as she lowers her voice. Ashlyn De Luca: Well, it’s making me uncomfortable. Long ass handshake, all I’m saying. All this testosterone. Jesus. Peaches: Annnnnnnd end! She says, clasping her hands around the handshake, before pulling them apart as both men continue to stare at the other. Dan Herrera: See you in the ring. And with that, the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad head off in the direction of the ringside area, as Peaches has to complete her preparations for her upcoming match against Ricky Valero. Logan Alexander: Good luck. To the both of you. He then looks to Ashlyn. Logan Alexander: So, I guess we should go and find something for you and Peaches to do, right? Ashlyn nods with a half-smile, giving Logan a knowing look as she leads the way back toward the dressing room. With that, Logan turns and waves to Amanda, who’d just watched this encounter play out, as the Chaotics head off. ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

Amanda Johnson: Ladies and gentlemen, Chandler Scott.
Cheers and applause are heard from the crowd, as well as some audible screams from the women in the audience, when Chandler walks into the frame.
Amanda Johnson: Chandler, in tonight's main event, you challenge the brand new FGA Undisputed Champion Johnny Karma for his title. What are your thoughts heading into tonight's contest?
Chandler rubs his hands as he formulates his answer.
Chandler Scott: What are my thoughts? Well I can tell you that I'm excited, for one. Who wouldn't be? This is why we do this. This is why we get up early and hit the gym. This is why we stay up into the wee hours of the morning watching tape. It's why we train. it's why we dedicate ourselves to this craft. To one day be able to call ourself a World Champion. Or in FGA's case, the Undisputed Champion. It's been a long road, Amanda. It's been a long time coming. This December will be two years since I've held that belt. Can you believe that? Two years. Two long years. And I gotta tell you, I really don't feel like waiting any longer. So I plan on making the most of my opportunity out there tonight and coming out of Des Moines as your new Undisputed Champion.
A roar of cheers can be heard from the crowd.
Chandler Scott: Now when it comes to Johnny Karma... I have nothing but respect for the man. Two years may have seemed like a long time for me. But from the day he first walked into this place to two weeks ago when we finally won the championship, that must have felt like an eternity. I've seen the man's journey. I've seen him get better and better year after year. It's been a long arduous road for the Battle Royal God. But several years and Rumble records, Pride Title records and several awards later, the man can finally say that he's at the very top of FGA. It brought a smile to my face when he held that title over his head. He truly deserved it. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face when I saw him beat that little trashbox Izzy Anders and finally give this company a top champion that it could be proud of again. I like Karma. But just because I like him or respect him.... that doesn't mean I'm going to take it easy on him.
Chandler Scott: Because I'm not.
Chandler Scott: I don't mean to rain on his parade. I don't mean to take his moment from him. A man that's worked so hard to become champion doesn't deserve to lose it two weeks later on his very first defense. But if I have my way here tonight? That's exactly what's going to happen. At the end of the day, he's got something that I want and I plan on taking it from him here tonight. But I won't do it the cheap way or the cowardly way. No. I'm going to go out there and show Des Mines and the entire world what I do best. I'm going to outwrestle Karma inside of that ring, Amanda. And if Karma wants this to become a slugfest, then hey. I'm down for that too. At the end of the night, when that final bell sounds? Every head will bow and every tongue will confess that Chandler... Reigns... Supreme.
Chandler walks out of the frame to another roar of cheers from the crowd.

It's amazing I'm the reason Everybody fired up this evening I'm exhausted Barely breathing Holding on to what I believe in No matter what You'll never take that from me My reign is as far as your eyes can see Ricky Valero emerges from the back amidst a cloud of fog. With that trademark smirk stretched across his face, he scans the arena with hubris. I'm a monster I'm a killer I know I'm wrong, yeah I'm a problem That'll never Ever be solved And no matter what You'll never take that from me My reign is as far as your eyes can see Ricky spins around in the center of the ring with his arms extended out, absorbing the crowd's disdain. He walks towards the ropes on the far side of the ring and simply smiles. The music slowly quiets down as Ricky turns and leans against the ropes closest to the entranceway, awaiting his opponent. Geoff Penzer: Ricky Valero’s still stewing about his recent loss to James Edwards at Trouble in Paradise. According to him, Edwards’ win was nothing but a “fluke” and that this brand split offers a new beginning for both him and his cohorts, Bristow & Barnes. We’ll see just how true those words of his ring very shortly! "Shit Shots Count" by The Drive By Truckers begins playing as Peaches bursts through the curtain with her arms outstretched to each side. Her title belt is clasped tightly around her waist, glittering under the lights as Peaches spins around as she slowly moves down the aisle, soaking in the crowd's cheers before picking up the pace. As Peaches climbs up the ring steps she removes her flannel shirt, tossing it to a fan in the audience, before finally vaulting over the top rope. Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, from Faye- The bell sounds as Valero runs over and jumps Peaches with clubbing strikes to the back. Geoff Penzer: Valero’s not wasting any time going right after Peaches! The boos continue when Valero takes Peaches, marches into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. Valero turns Peaches around and sends her slumping down in the corner with a flurry of right hands to the face. He doesn’t stop there, though. Valero continues his assault with several stomps to the chest before applying a foot choke. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Valero breaks the choke and motions to turn away… only to turn back and apply another foot choke. This time, he pulls down on the top rope. Geoff Penzer: Come on, ref! Get in there! He’s trying to choke the life right out of Peaches! Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Valero reluctantly breaks the choke. While Peaches gasps for air, Valero taunts her before slapping her across the face. Valero taunts Peaches some more before slapping her across the face again. The crowd erupts with boos as Valero turns and walks to the other corner with his arms spread out. Geoff Penzer: This crowd here in Des Moines is letting him have it! I can’t say that I blame them! After Valero reaches his destination, he turns back around and charges into the opposite corner. But before he can attack, Peaches pulls herself up using the ropes and knocks him back with a back elbow to the face. After shaking off the blow, Valero runs back into the corner. This time, Peaches nails him with another back elbow, followed by a forearm strike. The crowd cheers when Peaches knocks Valero closer and closer to the center of the ring after a series of forearm strikes. She then takes Valero and goes for an irish whip. But Valero reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Peaches returns, Valero sets up for a back body drop. But Peaches is able to counter into a sitout facebuster. The cheers continue as she pushes Valero over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valero kicks out. Peaches picks up Valero and knocks him over into the ropes after a series of knife edge chops. She then takes Valero and whips him into the far ropes. When Valero returns, Peaches doubles him over with a punch to the midsection and follows up with an inverted headlock backbreaker. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valero kicks out. Peaches picks up Valero and whips him into the corner. She then runs into the corner and hops up onto Valero for a monkey flip. But Valero catches her in mid air, turns and sits her on the top turnbuckle before delivering a hard shove, sending Peaches tumbling over the top rope and falling hard to the floor. The crowd boos as Valero taunts Peaches from back inside the ring. Geoff Penzer: Ricky Valero with no regard for the safety of Peaches! He just carelessly shoved her over the top rope! While Peaches lays writhing in pain on the floor, Valero sits down on the middle rope and holds the top rope up for her. Valero continues to taunt Peaches as she slowly pulls herself up using the edge of the apron. Valero then slips out onto the apron and delivers a hard stomp to the right hand before knocking Peaches back with a jumping stomp to the head. He then hops down, grabs Peaches and whips her hard against the guardrail. The crowd boos as Peaches crumbles to the mat. Valero heads back over and stomps away on Peaches before mounting on top of her and raining down a flurry of right hands. Geoff Penzer: Valero has been downright vicious in this matchup! Valero pulls Peaches up by the hair… and then throws her against the guardrail with a mat slam. Some of the fans in the front row wince when they hear the back of Peaches’ head smack against the guardrail. Geoff Penzer: Did you hear the sound of her head smacking against the steel guardrail? My goodness! While Peaches lays seated against the guardrail, Valero storms down to the opposite end of the ringside area. After lining her up, Valero charges down the ringside area, leaps up and goes for a hesitation dropkick. But Peaches moves out of the way at the last second. Geoff Penzer: Peaches just narrowly escaped! As Valero picks himself back up, Peaches runs over and uses the guardrail to plant Valero with a Tornado DDT. The cheers continue as Peaches picks up Valero and rolls him back inside. She rolls herself back in and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valero kicks out. Peaches picks up Valero, moves him into the corner and nails him with three forearm strikes to the face before sending him into the opposite corner with an irish whip. She then runs across the ring, hops onto Valero and monkey flips him out of the corner. While Valero arches his back, Peaches rolls out onto the apron before pulling herself up. She then scales to the top turnbuckle and crouches down. Once Valero returns to his feet and turns around, Peaches stands up on the top turnbuckle and goes for a diving crossbody block. But the cheers turn to boos when Valero knocks her out of the air with a dropkick. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Peaches gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Peaches thought she had him. But Valero was able to catch her with a dropkick in mid air. Valero delivers several clubbing strikes to the midsection before yanking Peaches back up by her hair. Valero doubles her over with several hard knees to the midsection before delivering a bridging fisherman suplex. ONE! . . TWO! . . Peaches gets her shoulder up. Valero picks up Peaches, moves her into the corner and delivers several shoot kicks to the midsection. He then brings Peaches from out of the corner before whipping her into the far ropes. When Peaches returns, the crowd boos as Valero knocks her down with a dropkick. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Peaches gets her shoulder up. Valero picks up Peaches and sets her up for a double underhook suplex. But Peaches is able to block by dropping down to a knee. So Valero quickly steps back before flattening her with a Shining Wizard. The boos continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Peaches gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Valero with a hard knee to the face. But it only gets two. Peaches is proving that she can hang in singles competition as well as tag. However, she needs to find a way to get back into this contest. Valero picks up Peaches and whips her into the ropes. When Peaches returns, Valero sets up for a back body drop. But Peaches counters with a kick to the shoulder that stands him up. The cheers continue when Peaches hammers away with a flurry of forearm strikes to the face. While Valero is dazed, Peaches turns, runs towards the ropes and knocks him down with a springboard back elbow. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valero gets his shoulder up. Peaches picks up Valero and goes for an irish whip. But Valero reverses, sending Peaches into the ropes. When Peaches returns, Valero goes for a back body drop. But Peaches is able to slip down from behind before reversing into a Lungblower. The crowd cheers as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Valero gets his shoulder up. Peaches picks up Valero, drapes her leg across his neck and brings him down with an Overdrive. She then steps out onto the apron before scaling to the top turnbuckle. When Valero gets up and turns around, Peaches leaps off and knocks him down with a diving crossbody block! ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Valero gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Oh, she almost got him there! Peaches picks up Valero and whips him into the corner. She then runs across the ring and goes for a running butt bump. But Valero moves out of the way, sending Peaches crashing into the turnbuckles. As Peaches staggers away from the corner, Valero doubles her over, lifts her up and delivers a turnbuckle powerbomb. The crowd boos as Peaches crumbles from out of the corner. Valero reaches down, pulls up peaches and delivers a double underhook backbreaker before making the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Peaches gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Peaches got her shoulder up! This match is NOT over! Valero picks up Peaches, grabs her from behind and delivers a PinnaclePlex (leg hook belly to back suplex) ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! The crowd cheers when Peaches gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Again, Peaches avoids the dreaded three count! That’s some heart she’s showing here tonight! Valero picks up Peaches and sets her up for another turnbuckle powerbomb. But before he can run over and throw her into the turnbuckles, Peaches hammers away with a flurry of right hands to the head. She then spins on Valero’s shoulders before spiking him with a reverse hurricanrana! Geoff Penzer: Peaches with the reversal! Valero is down! Cheers and applause can be heard coming from the crowd as Peaches crawls across the ring and onto the apron. After pulling herself up using the ropes, she heads over and climbs back to the top turnbuckle. Once Valero returns to his feet, Peaches leaps off and knocks him down with a missile dropkick! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Valero gets his shoulder up. Peaches picks up Valero and whips him into the ropes. When he returns, Peaches knocks him down with a running butt bump. She then heads over into the corner before climbing up onto the middle ropes. Once Valero returns to his feet and turns around, Peaches leaps off and brings him down with a diving hurricanrana. While Valero is sprawled out on the canvas, Peaches points to the top turnbuckle before signalling for the Booty Drop (top rope seated senton). Geoff Penzer: Peaches is calling for the Booty drop! She wants to put this one away! Peaches steps out onto the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle. Just as she’s about to leap off, Nate Bristow hops onto the apron, distracting her and the referee. Geoff Penzer: Nate Bristow!? What in the world is he doing out here!? He doesn’t even have a match tonight! Bristow moves back away from Peaches on the apron. But he’s still got her and the referees attention. Peaches then dos a double take when she sees Tully Barnes hop onto the other side of the apron. Geoff Penzer: There’s Nate Bristow! Barnes quickly takes Peaches and shoves her off top turnbuckle and over towards Valero, who catches her on the way down in mid air with Dream Street (jumping corkscrew roundhouse knee strike). The boos continue as Bristow & Barnes climb down from the apron while Valero delivers The Franchise Tag (cobra clutch suplex) to Peaches. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd erupts with boos when “Amazing” blares throughout the arena. Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner, RICKY VALERO! Bristow & Barnes go into the ring to celebrate with Valero. But the celebration is quickly cut short when Dan Herrera rushes the ring, sending Thy Kingdom Come retreating to the floor. Bristow & Barnes make their way up the aisle as Valero turns and smirks at Herrera before throwing up his signature pose. Geoff Penzer: Peaches was well on her way to winning this match until Bristow & Barnes came in to make the save. Ricky Valero should be thanking his lucky stars that his underlings were drafted to the same roster as him. Without them, I don’t think he gets win here tonight... ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

Backstage of Flashpoint, we see Brian Stryker walking through the hallways. He is exhausted from his first ever title defense in FGA as he defeated El Stravito in a hard fought contest. He is holding his FGA 15 championship by the strap as he has a wide smile on his face as he exhales deeply in a moment of relief. He leans back against the stone wall as he looks at his belt. He looks up to his right to see Amanda Johnson standing there mic in hand.
Amanda Johnson: Brian Stryker, mind giving us a word?
Brian Stryker: For you Amanda? Of course.
Brian pushes himself off the wall as he pushes his hair back and places his title on his shoulder.
Amanda Johnson: It has been a whirlwind few weeks for you in FGA. First you win your first title in the 15 championship after surprising alot of folks and beating Julian Tijerina at Trouble in Paradise. Then just a few days after that, you get drafted here to Flashpoint in the top 10 picks. What is going through your head during all that?
Brian Stryker: Well Amanda, I always knew I was gonna beat Julian. I said so every show since he won that belt after Macy Dover gave him that layup. So, I did what anyone worth a damn did. I beat Julian and took what he loved most, this belt. And let me tell you something Amanda. This title? It looks damn good on me.
Brian Stryker: Then comes the draft. I knew I was a top 15 pick talent myself. I knew that management knew that as well, but to see myself go number 9 overall. Well that just proves that they recognize talent. They recognize the ability to put on one hell of a show. They recognize the future of FGA.
Amanda Johnson: What are your plans from here with the 15 Title?
Brian Stryker: Plan and simple. First I take Flashpoint and make it the show to watch. Chandler Scott, Cordy Stevenson, Johnny Karma all great names to have on the roster. But I have a duty as the only Flashpoint Exclusive champion. It’s my job to take this belt and make it worth a damn. In just a few short weeks, I’m making the 15 Championship one of the belts to have in this company. More than Mid-Atlantic, more than Pride. That’s what I do Amanda. I come in and bring prestige to belts that other wise, people brush off.
Brian Stryker: Then I plan on doing what no one else has done. I am gonna make it to four straight successful title defense. I’m gonna earn that chance to cash in this beautiful belt for a shot at the Pride championship. I’m gonna beat whoever is the champ then, I’m gonna take that belt too, and I’m gonna bring it back to Flashpoint. This is a moment of opportunity. Not just for me, for everyone. Now’s the time to step that foot down and take your stand. Everyone here as at the same starting line now.
Brian Stryker: You can push yourself forward in the lines of success and you’ll only have yourself to blame if you don’t try hard enough. I’m making the most of my chances. Julian Tijerina called this “the B-Show.” Yeah well I’m gonna take the B-Show and make it THE show. Flashpoint is gonna become the better show and I’m gonna be standing at the front line, leading the charge. The time to set FGA ablaze is now. Flashpoint has the talent to become the number 1 roster. And in a few months, everyone is gonna look back and realize it.
Brian smiles as he pats his belt as he shakes Amanda hand and walks off, scene fading to black.

★★★ SINGLES MATCH ★★★ Stunray vs. Robbie Black "Take Your Place" by The Underachievers plays through the speakers and emerging from the back is Robbie Black, who nods his head as the fans rise from their seats and applaud him. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan! Weighing in at 236 pounds! He is "The Bullet" ROBBIE BLACK! "The Bullet" stands on the top of the entrance ramp and he shoots his imaginary gun towards the ring before swaggering his way down, high-fives to a few of the audience members before he slams the apron with his fists and climbs the ring steps, hoisting himself up onto the second rope on the outside of the ring. He looks around, a smile on his face before entering the ring, lowering his stance as he poses for the fans. Geoff Penzer: Robbie Black makes his FGA debut here tonight! It was a little over a year ago when I was calling this young man's matches down in LDFC. He showed a lot of promise down there. Now here he is on the main roster. I can't help but smile after seeing another LDFC alum make it to the big time. But tonight, he's facing a tough test in the veteran Stunray. So he better be ready for a fight. The signature guitar riff of “Psycho” by Muse blasts into the excited air and a chorus of boos emanates from the sold out arena. The drums start pounding away as Stunray would normally step through the curtain at this time. However, he's nowhere to be found. Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, from Rochester, New York! Weighing in at 235 pounds... STUNRAY! "Psycho" continues to play until the music dies down. Suddenly, a depressed, somber looking Stunray slowly makes his way down to the ramp. Stunray isn't dressed in his wrestling gear and looks like he hasn't shaven or showered in weeks. A close up reveals bags under the eyes of Stunray as he looks like he'd rather be anywhere else but here. Geoff Penzer: Stunray's on his way to the ring. But he doesn't look to be in any shape to compete. I know that he took the events that happened at Trouble in Paradise hard between himself, Daniel Widdel and Delta Madison. But man, he's looking rough! As soon as the bell sounds, Robbie goes over to engage in a collar-and-elbow. But instead of Stunray engaging with him, he drops down to his back, rolls to the outside and slowly walks up the aisle. Geoff Penzer: What is going on here? Stunray... is Stunray walking out on this match? While the crowd boos Stunray, Black stands in the ring with his hands on his hips. He's just as confused as Penzer and some of the audience members are. As soon as the ref reaches a count of "TEN!" he calls for the bell. Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner as a result of a countout, ROBBIE BLACK! Black gets his arm raised in victory. But instead of being overjoyed, he just shakes his head in shame. Geoff Penzer: This isn't the way that Robbie Black wanted to get his first win in FGA. He really could have made a name for himself here tonight with a pin or a submission over the veteran Stunray. But Stunray just robbed these fans, and Robbie himself, of what could have been a pretty good match. I know that GM Herrera stated that she wanted to make Flashpoint THE wrestling show here in FGA. But with Stunray and Valero's actions, as well as Anders' heinous act from earlier in the night, this can't be what she envisioned for Flashpoint...

A bubbly young woman is backstage at the catering area of the Wells Fargo Arena chatting up several members of the crew. Avid pro wrestling fans might recognize her as Kendall Kingham, a veritable jack of all trades in the wrestling business who has kept a somewhat low profile as of late. The camera crew approaches, picking up the tail end of her conversation as she's made herself quite at home. Kendall Kingham: ... So anyhoo, I was like, oh hey! Her attention gets diverted by the cameras approaching and she waves her hand, growing considerably excited. Kendall Kingham: Sup? Ooh, I know what this is, this is the 'Oh my god! That's Kendall! But what's she doing here in the Flashpoint Zone!?' moment. She darts her eyes back and forth. Kendall Kingham: Would probably be easier if you had an interviewer with you, but I get it, strike while the iron's hot. Which is kind of what I'm trying to do, you know. Strike while I'm still in my athletic prime, or hitting it-- whatever. I realized I was trying to do too many things at once and being okay at them, instead of being able to just focus on trying to be great. I've competed against some great wrestlers already and done okay for myself-- I think I already said the okay thing-- but like, I could have done better than okay. Actually a lot of this I went over on with Big Dave Scriven earlier this year, you could listen to that. A deep breath. Kendall Kingham: Long story short, I'm all in, trying to face the best competition out there. And I think some of that best competition is right here on Flashpoint, which is why -- Her expression suddenly shifts, her face going ashen. Kendall Kingham: -- Crap, I was supposed to come here to sign my contract! She hops off, waving as she begins to sprint away. Kendall Kingham: Later, it's been real! Follow me on Twitter! As Kendall disappears out of sight, the cameras cut to... ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

Returning from the commercial break the cameras pan across the Wells Fargo Center to show the crowd while Cherry Baum stands in the centre of the ring, and as we cut to the in-ring camera we see her standing with a mic in hand as she can barely contain her happiness for the introduction she is about to make Cherry Baum: Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to introduce to you… Cherry pauses for a second as she finds her mouth has become strangely dry Cherry Baum: …hailing from Queens, NYC, he is the NEW Undisputed Champion…he is JOHNNY KARMA!!!The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as Jimmy Page’s riff begins to ring out across the arena Johnny Karma walks out onto the ramp with the title draped over his shoulder, coming to a halt as he looks out across the arena before raising the title high in the air Geoff Penzer: There he is! The NEW Undisputed Champion!!! As Karma reaches ringside he climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron at which point Karma turns to face the audience and slowly raising the title high into the air to a roar of approval from the crowd, a roar the look on his face says he appreciates more than anyone would know, and after a moment he steps through the ropes and receives a hug from Cherry, and after Karma appears to wipe a tear from her eye they share a few words as his theme dies down As he takes the mic in his hand Karma prepares to address the fans in attendance, but he finds it a little difficult to get a word in due to the crowd being in full voice Johnny Karma
YOU DESERVE IT
Johnny Karma
YOU DESERVE IT
JOHNNY KARMA
YOU DESERVE IT Finally, Karma raises a hand as he nods in appreciation, and the chants quieten down to allow the new champion to speak Johnny Karma: So…should I let you all finish? I can come back in a couple of minutes if you’re busy… The crowd let out a hearty cheer, and as they do so Karma and Cherry are both beaming as they let the crowd get it out of their systems – something that Karma knows only so well Johnny Karma: Believe me, if you were all backstage at the exact moment where it sank in…I might have actually made as much noise as you are making right now, and for the exact same reason: four and a half years of ups, four and a half years of downs, four and a half years of being overlooked and looked down upon, of beating the odds and getting beaten down, four and a half years of seeing the people closest to me put through hell while at the same time missing so many moments with those closest to me where I wish I could have been there… Pausing for just the smallest moment in time on the last point, as his mind cannot help but wander to where he was at his absolute lowest and his world felt like it was coming down around him, yet knowing he managed to come back stronger Johnny Karma: …the weight of all that frustration and every last dashed hope was lifted from my shoulders in the moment where finally, finally, everything came together and I became the Champion of Frontier Wrestling Arts. As the crowd cheer once more, Karma once again raises the title from his shoulder and holds it up, turning his head to look at the nameplates on the belt to make sure he isn’t imagining this, and once he’s satisfied he lowers the belt and hands it to Cherry to take care of as he continues Johnny Karma: …you’re still going to give me the F WA thing, right? I mean it’s that or I have to find another trophy to kop into the crowd… Giving a shrug to the crowd, then looking to Cherry so the pair can share a shrug of their own, Karma gets back on subject Johnny Karma: Before I go on, and let’s be honest I have a lot to talk about, there’s one thing I need to say before anything else, and that thing is…thank you. Thank you to every single person who has supported me, believed in me, got behind me, cheered for me, enjoyed the highs and suffered the lows with me…I honestly cannot put into words how much it means to me to have people willing me over that final hurdle to be where I am right now, be it in the stands, watching at home, commenting online, from the bottom of my heart I appreciate it. Special mention should go to those in the back who have always been there when I’ve needed them, people like Noelle Smith, Fujiko Mine, Chris Madison, Mark Storm…basically this is me saying I hope I called the lot of you, because otherwise you probably think I’m a real shtokh by now. In fact… Karma takes his phone out of his pocket and quickly scrolls through the list of sent calls and messages to make sure he’s not missed anyone, and after double checking he gets back to the subject in hand Johnny Karma: Now I’m not sure if… Karma taps his hand against the mic to make the sound of an all-too familiar sounding drum beat… Johnny Karma: …the ex-champ is here, but of the many, many things she said to me these past weeks and months there’s one that is certainly worth repeating: she told me that it wouldn’t matter if I managed to do what she thought was unthinkable and defeat her for the title, she had a rematch clause and she was going to use it and do everything in her power to get the title back. So if she’s watching, if she’s listening, or even if one of her mandmaids can pass on the message, here’s my response to her belief that she’ll take the title back… For a moment Karma closes his eyes as he catches his breath, a moment where you can almost hear a pin drop inside the arena, and as he slowly raises his head once more it’s clear that Karma’s mind is made up Johnny Karma: You’re welcome to try. Geoff Penzer: I don't think we'll be seeing Izzy around here anytime soon, especially after her actions against Leonard T. Asherman. Taking a step back as he holds out his arms in an open gesture, Karma sure as hell means business as he says this Johnny Karma: This is something that I’m sure Izzy didn’t consider when making one of her many, many threats: I don’t see winning this title as the end of the road, I never did, I saw it as another reason to ask myself the question if I’m good enough to hold this title, if I’m good enough to deserve the No.1 pick in the draft, if I’m good enough to retain the title against an opponent who would move heaven and earth to get hold of it – and I think it’s clear that I have to work that one out pretty gotfarshiltn quick because not only do I have a title match against Chandler Scott later tonight, but I know Dom Harter’s been shouting the odds and rubbing his hands in glee knowing he’ll get a shot on Vertigo next week no matter what happens tonight. So there’s no pressure there, then… Almost as if it’s instinct, Cherry hands the title belt back to Karma as he continues Johnny Karma: So as I stand here right now I’m going to make a promise to each and every one of you in the arena, every single person watching, and to members of both rosters: I promise that as long as there’s a drop of blood in my veins and a wisp of breath in my body I will prove that I am a worthy champion, that I am worthy of being the focal point of this company, and I will not only be a fighting champion but I will defend the title with honour and integrity because that’s what I set out to do back when I was wondering where I stood in this company and I intend to stay true to my word for every single day I hold this title. So the real work begins… Karma pauses to look at an imaginary watch on his wrist, and as he does so a smile crosses his face once again Johnny Karma: … NOW, so once again thank you for your support, thank you for everything, and most of all thank you for making me proud to work for this company for the past four and a half years, because tonight’s the night where I start to repay your gratitude. Having managed to compress the thousands of things he’s wanted to say for the past couple of weeks into an (almost) coherent speech, Karma salutes the crowd while mouthing “Thank you” one last time, at which point he raises the title one final time as he takes in the crowd’s support – knowing full well that he’ll soon be back in this ring, but this time he won’t be enjoying his moment in the spotlight, but he’ll be stood across the ring from Chandler Scott looking to prove he earns that very same spot… ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

The show cuts backstage to where SCCW rookie, Dickie Harter is busy psyching himself up ahead of what’s sure to be a challenging contest against Savannah Taylor. With a deep, deep exhalation, Dickie puts on the final piece of his attire: the sunglasses, before he flips the peace sign up at his reflection.
When he turns around, however, Dickie finds himself face to face with Amanda Johnson. The youngster jumps in shock, and quickly removes his sunglasses. After all, there’s no need to wear them when he’s talking to someone indoors. He quickly straightens his hair and pops the collar on his leather jacket, and then Dickie is ready to roll!
Amanda Johnson: Ready for your big match, Dickie?
Dickie Harter: I was born ready, Jessie.
Pause.
Amanda Johnson: Amanda…
Dickie visibly winces, not believing he could make such a stupid mistake, and such a bad impression all in one fell swoop. He apologizes and plasters that smile back on his face as the interview continues.
Dickie Harter: Sorry, Amanda.
Amanda Johnson: Don’t worry about it, Dom.
She smirks, firing right back at Dickie Harter – no relation! The pair share a laugh before the conversation continues.
Dickie Harter: No relation.
Amanda Johnson: I know. Some people are surprised to see you here on Flashpoint, since you never got included in the FGA draft. But tonight you’ve got a match against former Pride champion, Savannah Taylor.
Dickie Harter: No such as an easy match, amirite? But, uh, no; some AxxessNet subscribers may have seen me plying my craft down in SCCW, or over in Portland Pro, but am I ready for FGA full time? Maybe we’ll see tonight!
He shrugs, a cheeky smile on his face. Amanda seems almost smitten, laughing at the youngster’s jokes before she recomposes herself.
Dickie Harter: Last time I was here – what was it, a few months ago? I had to go one on one with Jimmy Page in the midst of his rivalry with Dom Harter. Now I’ve got Savannah Taylor on the first show since she lost that Pride title. And, you know, I’m not foolish enough to think she’s not confident going into this one. I’m not dumb enough to think she’s not angry going into this one – Chris Madison took her title and went over to Vertigo so she’s never gonna get it back!
Amanda Johnson: That’s got to make her especially mad tonight.
Dickie Harter: You know it! But this is my chance to impress not just the FGA head office, but these FGA fans! So if it’s a former Pride champion or not, the number three draft pick or not, I’m going out there to make sure these Iowa fans, and those watching at home get what they came for! ‘Cause I’m here to thrill the fans, Amanda, and that’s exactly what I’m gonna do!
Harter beams a cheesy grin as he puts his sunglasses back on, and pops his collar once again as he heads off towards the ring, ready for his match against Savannah Taylor.

★★★ SINGLES MATCH ★★★ Savannah Taylor vs. Dickie Harter Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, already in the ring! Representing SCCW and hailing from Wilmington, Deleware… DICKIIIIIIEEEEEEE HAAARRRRTERRRR!!! Geoff Penzer: Dickie Harter was one of the more notable names that didn’t get his rights drafted during last week’s Brand Extension Draft! Tonight could be Dickie’s chance to show both GMs that he’s got the goods to compete at this level. He’s a standout in SCCW as well as PPW. I personally think he’s got all the tools to be a big star one day. There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper. Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you. On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage. Inside me a light was turned on… The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies. Then I was alive! In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body. Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, representing Heroes Never Die! From Las Vegas, Nevada! She is the “Las Vegas Siren” SAVANNAAAAAHHHHHH TAAAAYYYYYLOOORRRR!!! If you close your eyes your life, A naked truth revealed Dreams you never lived, And scars never healed Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do. In the darkness, light will take you to the other side You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon. Geoff Penzer: Here is Savannah Taylor, who is still fuming after losing the Pride Championship back to Chris Madison at Trouble in Paradise. But you’ve got to give credit where credit is due. She didn’t give up. She didn’t have Yun Goeun or any of her other Heroes Never Die cohorts interfere in the match. She said she was going to keep them at bay and kept her word. Unfortunately for her, “Mayhem” Madison had her number. The bell sounds as Taylor and Harter circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Harter places Taylor in a side headlock. Before he can cinch in the hold, Taylor takes Harter and shoves her off of him and into the ropes. When Harter returns, the crowd cheers when he knocks her down with a running shoulder block. He then runs into another set of ropes. When Harter returns, Taylor turns over into the prone position. Harter hops over her and heads into the far ropes. When Harter returns, Taylor scrambles back to a vertical base and leapfrogs over him. Harter continues to run into the ropes. When Harter returns, Taylor goes for a hip toss. But Harter steps through it and counters with a hip toss of his own. Taylor gets back to her feet. But she gets knocked back down by a running back elbow. Taylor gets back to her feet. But she gets knocked back down by a lariat. Harter drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Taylor kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Harter got the better of that exchange... Harter picks up Taylor, moves her into the corner and delivers rapid fire chops. He then takes the former Pride Champion and sets her up for an irish whip. But Taylor reverses, sending Harter into the corner. Taylor rushes over to attack. But she gets knocked back by a boot to the face. While Taylor is dazed, Harter heads out of the corner and bounces against the ropes. When he comes back, the crowd boos when Taylor tackles him down with a Lou Thesz Press. She then mounts herself on top of Harter begins firing off rights and lefts to the face. Geoff Penzer: Taylor stopped his momentum cold with that Lou Thesz Press... Taylor pulls up Harter, runs across the ring and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. She then turns Harter around and nails him with a trio of back elbows to the face before stepping back and delivering a foot choke while pulling down on the top rope. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Taylor reluctantly breaks the choke. After doubling Harter over with a punch to the midsection, she brings Harter from out of the corner before whipping him into the far ropes. When Harter returns, Taylor goes for a running back elbow of her own. But Harter ducks and runs into the ropes. When he comes back, Taylor flattens him with a big boot to the face. The boos continue when she follows up with a standing moonsault. She hooks the leg for the cover. OVER! . . TWO! . . Harter gets his shoulder up. As Taylor brings Harter up off the mat, Harter nails her with a series of punches to the midsection. But his comeback is cut off with Taylor nails him with a knee strike to the midsection, followed by The Gamble (corkscrew neckbreaker). The boos continue as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . The show cuts backstage, to where seven cups are lined up on either side of a table. All the ones that sit right side-up are filled with some type of beer while others have already been successfully flipped as Peaches and Ashlyn De Luca do battle in a heated game of flip-cup. Both ladies have already flipped two of the red solo cups and simultaneously raise their third to their lips, chugging to a pop from the crowd-- which devolves to laughter as we pan out, revealing the looks of Dan Herrera and Logan Alexander which range from amusement to embarrassment. Peaches: I already lost to Ricky tonight, I ain’t losin’ to you too! She says after downing the third cup of Corona. Peaches slams it down on the table, but struggles on her first attempt to flip it. Ashlyn groans, slamming her third cup down on the table, making a sickened face as she does, clearly not being the largest beer fan. Ashlyn De Luca: Logan, tag me out! Logan and Dan look to one another. Dan Herrera: We have a match coming up, we can’t be drinking now. Ashlyn De Luca: Gahhhhhdamn. She smacks the cup, but it corkscrews wildly into the air before landing on its side. Meanwhile, Peaches manages to flip the third cup so it successfully lands on its rim. Peaches: Whooo! She hollers, before downing the fourth beer. The Fayetteville native barely affected by the beer as she slams the cup down, managing to flip this one successfully on the first attempt! Peaches’ pride, however, isn’t matched by Dan Herrera, who has his head in his hands. Ashlyn De Luca: Ahhhfeleld. De Luca groans as she flips her third cup up, and this time it manages to land on its top. But that just means she has to drink another Corona of all things! Oh God, the humanity! She picks the fourth cup and lifts it to her lips, just as Peaches slams down her fifth cup and wipes off her foamy moustache. Peaches: Keep going, champ. Ashlyn De Luca: … De Luca burps and swallows, maintaining eye contact with Peaches, who manages to flip the fifth cup on her second attempt. Logan Alexander: Maybe we should stop them… Dan Herrera: Let them get it out of their system. Ashlyn waves a hand toward Logan. Ashlyn De Luca: It’s fine, these are non-alcoholic. Dan nods a little before speaking in a slightly lower tone once Ashlyn turns away. Dan Herrera: That’s… incorrect. Logan glances at Dan. Logan Alexander: That’s what I thought. He says as Ashlyn starts to sip from her fourth cup … only to pour it onto the floor and raise the cup to her lips. After a brief pause, Ashlyn’s lips disappear into the cup-- but the sound of profuse vomiting is loud and clear. Ashlyn De Luca: I’m good. Ashlyn nods a little, putting the tainted cup aside. Ashlyn De Luca: Nope. De Luca picks it up again, upchucking into the solo cup, aggressively. De Luca’s gaze remains locked on Peaches, who has to look away. De Luca slams the cup down as we pan up-- and Peaches recoils, flinching away from whatever may come out of it, luckily missed by the viewing audience. Somehow De Luca keeps looking forward as she wipes the remnants of spittle from her lips. Peaches: ...so I win? Ashlyn De Luca: You...you win...this round, Coconuts. Her hands grasping the table in front of her, Ashlyn takes a giant, unsteady step backwards, walking away from the table with Logan in tow. Her walking appears to grow steady, but she incoherently yells something about commentary, throwing an arm around Logan’s shoulders as they disappear around the corner. Peaches looks towards her boyfriend, a wide smile on her face as she shoots him two thumbs up. But Dan still has his head in his hands. Dan Herrera: So proud, babe. He says as Flashpoint cuts to a commercial. ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★
