★★★ FGA UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP ★★★
Johnny Karma vs. Chandler Scott
Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! It is your main event of the evening and it is for the FGA UNDISPUTED CHAMPIONSHIP!
The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Red lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott pushes through the curtain to a loud ovation from the crowd.
Melanie Sierra: Introducing first, from Hyannis, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 226 pounds! He is the “DNA of FGA” CHAAAANDLEEERRRR SCOOOOTTTTTTTTTT!!!
Chandler makes his way down to the ring with a smirk on his face. After slapping hands with one or two lucky fans, he leaps onto the apron and enters through the ropes. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while puts his hand above his eyes to scan the crowd. He smirks as he slowly slaps his chest three times before pointing to a lucky fan in the crowd. When the chorus ends, Chandler hops off the middle ropes, turns and lands on his feet. He begins slipping off his jumpsuit and tosses it to the outside as he waits for his opponent.
Geoff Penzer: It’s main event time in Des Moines, ladies and gentlemen. Chandler Scott, who will be inducted into the FGA Hall of Fame this September along with Dom Harter, Cyncity and Cordy Stevenson, will be going for this third FGA Championship here tonight. Scott and Johnny Karma were the last two men in the 2017 Gold Rush Rumble and put on an absolute clinic. He came within a hair of punching his ticket to All-Star Showdown Six in the championship match. Now, several months later, Scott finds himself challenging for the FGA Undisputed Championship on the first Flashpoint after the Brand Extension here on FX. Will he be able to end the Johnny Karma Era before it really even gets off the ground? We will find out!
The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Cherry Baum emerges at the top of the ramp, standing to one side to introduce the man they call Champion, or as the Frontier
Wrestling Arts fanbase more commonly know him, Johnny Karma - at which point he walks out onto the ramp with the title draped over his shoulder, before he comes to a halt and raising the title high in the air for a moment, before entrusting the belt to Cherry as he hands it to her to place over her shoulder as they begin their walk toward the ring
As he and Cherry begin to walk down the ramp, Karma unfastens the cuffs of his ring jacket while also talking some last minute preparation with Cherry as they get ever closer to the ring
As the pair reach ringside, Karma climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron as Cherry follows him and hands him the title, at which point Karma turns to face the audience and slowly raising the title high into the air once more to let everyone know who's the champ, before he steps through the ropes that Cherry has been perched upon to climb into the ring
Once inside the ring, Karma unzips his ring jacket and fixes the title around his waist before he climbs onto the nearest turnbuckle and stands there proudly with the title around his waist
Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Cherry Baum! From Queens, New York! Weighing in at 233 pounds! He is the reigning and defending FGA Undisputed Champion… JOOOOOOOHNNYYYYYYYY KAAAAAAARRRRRRMAAAAAAA!!!
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
When The Levee Breaks I'll have no place to stay
Once he climbs down from the turnbuckles, Karma crosses the ring and climbs onto the opposite turnbuckle, pulling the title from around his waist to raise it high into the air once more
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan
It's got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home
Oh well, oh well, oh well
Climbing down once again, Karma saunters towards the centre of the ring and places the title over his shoulder once more, holding the pose for a few seconds.
Geoff Penzer: After years of hardships, trials and tribulations, Johnny Karma has finally ascended to the top of FGA mountain to become the new FGA Undisputed Champion! Karma without a doubt was cheated and robbed out of the championship this past June thanks to Heroes Never Die! But with them banned from ringside and with Izzy Anders locked inside a steel cage, Karma was able to pry the championship from her hands to become the new Undisputed Champion! But there is no rest of Karma. Both GMs are looking to test Karma right out of the gate. Dom Harter is waiting for the winner of this match this Saturday on Vertigo. But before Karma even gets to Harter, he’s got to get through Scott first. Karma defeated him one on one this past Spring. He did eliminate him in the Gold Rush Rumble. However, Scott has defeated him on several occasions in the past as well. Will Karma be able to keep his momentum rolling and come away with one of the biggest wins of his career? Or will his reign end prematurely? Let’s send it to the ring!
The bell sounds as both champion and challenger make their way to the center of the ring and shakes hands before starting things off. Karma and Scott begin to circle the ring once they stop to take notice of the chants of the red hot Des Moines crowd.
LET’S GO, KARMA!!!
LET’S GO, CHANDLER!!!

Geoff Penzer: Look at the respect being given to both champion and challenger here tonight by this capacity crowd!
Karma and Scott continue to circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Scott places Karma in a side headlock. Karma tries to shove Scott off of him. But it’s to no avail. So Karma moves Scott into the near ropes before running and trying to shove him off into the far ropes. But Scott drops down to a knee while keeping the side headlock applied. The ref kneels down and asks Karma if he wants to give up. But the champ refuses. After battling back to his feet, Karma begins to press up on Scott’s wrist and tries to push his arm from around his neck. But Scott is eventually able to overpower Karma and reapply the side headlock. After four forearms shots to the side, Karma lifts up Scott and delivers a belly to back suplex. As soon as Karma tries to sit up, Scott quickly reapplies the side headlock. The ref gets back down and asks Karma if he wants to give up. But again, the champ refuses. After battling back to a vertical base, he shoves Scott off into the ropes. When Scott returns, the crowd cheers when Karma knocks him down with a standing shoulder block. He quickly drops down into a lateral press.

But Scott is able to quickly escape with a kip up. After Karma scrambles back to a vertical base, Scott throws him back down with another side headlock takeover. But Karma ducks, grabs Scott from behind, runs, leaps to the outside and brings him down across the top rope with Macho Karma. As Scott stumbles back, Karma leaps up onto the apron, quickly scales to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and knocks him down with a diving double ax handle smash. Geoff Penzer: Quick pin attempt there from Karma results in another two count. You’ve got to wonder if those recent two outings against Karma are weighing heavily on Scott’s mind...
Karma picks up Scott and whips him into the ropes. Karma throws out a running high knee. But he does so too early, allowing Scott to hang onto the ropes. After Karma lands on his feet, he quickly runs over to clothesline Scott to the outside. But Scott ducks and dumps Karma over the top rope. After Karma lands safely on the apron, he nails Scott with a shoulder thrust through the ropes when he turns around. He then grabs Scott and goes for a vertical suplex to the outside. But Scott is able to kicks his legs while in the air, forcing his way back down. Scott then goes to suplex Karma back into the ring. But Karma is able to kick his legs while in the air, forcing his way back down. Karma grabs Scott and goes for another vertical suplex to the outside. This time, he gets Scott up. But on the way up, Scott knees him in the head. After Scott lands safely on the apron, he nails Karma with a punch to the face. Karma comes back with a right hand of his own. Scott then nails Karma with an elbow smash. Karma answers back with a punch to the face. Scott fires off another elbow smash. Karma responds by connecting with another punch. Scott then blasts Karma with a European Uppercut. After shaking off the blow, Karma blasts with back with a European Uppercut of his own. Scott returns the favor by blasting Karma with a European Uppercut that knocks him back a few steps on the apron. Geoff Penzer: Good ring awareness there by the champion. I don’t want to put labels on this. But I can already tell that this is shaping up to be a good one! You know both of these guys want this win badly! For Scott, a chance to regain a title he hasn’t held in nearly two years. For Karma, to keep a hold of a belt he’s waited over four years to get.
Scott picks up Karma and clobbers him with a European Uppercut that sends the champion stumbling back into the ropes.
