• TAG TEAM MATCH •
Shootcamp vs. Lowri Moss & Neal Durden
J.A. Aldridge: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!
"New Blood" by Zayde Wolf plays over the PA system, and once the song's intro finishes, through the curtains - and out onto the stage - walks Lowri Moss, who is greeted by a cheer. Lowri takes a moment to scan the crowd, before making her way towards the ring, and as she does so, she slaps the hands of some of the fans that reach out to her. After arriving at ringside, Lowri climbs the steps up onto the ring apron, and then steps through the ropes, before heading for one of the corners and climbing to the second rope. There are further cheers and more applause for Lowri from the fans, and she soaks in the reaction for several seconds, as she again surveys the crowd.
J.A. Aldridge: Introducing first, hailing from Wales, at a combined weight of three hundred and twenty-two pounds…
The first riffs of Nirvana’s “School” start playing through the P.A System as the lights begin to flicker.
J.A. Aldridge: …Lowri Moss and Neal DURRRRDENNN!
Out of the curtain comes a scrappy looking Neal Durden. He stands in front of the curtain as the lights go back and looks at the crowd with both of his hands on his back. He then extends his arms, flicks the collar of his jacket and walks towards the ring. Neal climbs the stairs and enters the ring where he simply stands with his pinky finger up smirking to the crowd.
Kris Cruise: Neal Durden and Lowri Moss are looking for redemption tonight against the team that knocked them out of the Dynamic Duos tournament.
Stephy Auger: Lowri doesn’t have a bummed leg this time, so we’ll see what kind of excuses she comes up with!
Kris Cruise: Lowri is fresh off a victory over Julian Tijerina and Evan Envi over in New Kingdom Pro with Annie Zellor as her tag team partner, so she hasn’t been out of practice since her untimely exit from the Duos tournament, Stephy.
Stephy Auger: Okay, but teaming with Annie Zellor and teaming with Neal are two different things. They still have to overcome what the internet dweebs are calling a
beast of a tag team in Shootcamp.
Kris Cruise: Speaking of.
J.A. Aldridge: And their opponents…
The marching beat in the intro plays throughout the arena as immediately the crowd in attendance clap along to the beat, the front row smack the guardrail along to the beat as well. As soon as the song kicks in at about 15 seconds, Ace Watson and "Indestructible" Owen Gonsalves burst out from behind the curtain.
J.A. Aldridge: At a combined weight of four hundred and twenty-seven pounds, Ace Watson and “Indestructible” Owen Gonsalves… this is SHOOOOTCAAAAMP!
Both men immediately go to opposite ends of the stage and engage with the crowd, hyped for their upcoming match. The crowd wait in anticipation and as the first line of the song hits, they chant it out along with Owen and Ace:
"I'M NOT FUCKING AROUND"
The hype behind the chanting of the first lyric in the song connects with Shootcamp as they shake hands like true gentlemen before making their way down to the ring, singing along with the song. They both climb onto the apron before bursting up onto the turnbuckles to another ovation from the crowd before the hop into the ring. They meet in the middle as Owen falls into a cross legged seated position and does a gun gesture with his hand as Ace stands behind him and does a shotgun gesture. The song fades out as they move to a corner to discuss their match tactics.
Kris Cruise: Last time these two squared off, Neal Durden wrestled a lot of this by himself at the beginning. Lowri had been incapacitated by AMIRA, but the rookie Durden managed to hold his own for upwards of ten minutes before Moss came to the ring but it was too little too late. They look to turn things around this time.
Stephy Auger: Stop blaming AMIRA! She’s been through enough!
Kris Cruise: And it looks like Neal is going to start things off for his team again while Owen starts things off for Shootcamp. I think Neal’s starting this one because he felt responsible for his team’s loss in the Dynamic Duos tournament.
The bell sounds and Owen Gonsalves teases running across the ring at Neal, who immediately steps out of harm’s way… but Owen smirks a little, hopping from foot to foot, “warming up” as he beckons Durden forward. The nineteen-year-old looks unsurely at Gonsalves, who raises his arms for a lockup. Neal strides forward into it-- but immediately, Owen transitions into a side headlock and drives a boot into the back of Neal’s leg, forcing him to his knees. Owen transitions into the cravat and nods with a smirk toward Watson as the audience pops.
Kris Cruise: And just that quickly, Neal Durden got lured in!
Stephy Auger: Kids…
Neal drives a forearm into the lower back of Gonsalves, but Gonsalves wrenches him in the cravat and takes him to the ground with a Snapmare before nailing a sharp kick to the back! Neal groans and Gonsalves shoots the ropes in front of him, rebounding, diving toward Durden for a low European Uppercut-- but Neal Durden throws himself to his back, causing Owen to overshoot! Owen lands atop Neal, but Neal shifts his weight and stacks up Owen Gonsalves for a tight Schoolboy rollup! The ref drops down to count as Ace Watson’s eyes widen!

Stephy Auger: Neal Durden nearly just stole one!
Neal climbs to his feet, briefly asking the referee if it was a three count. The ref shakes his head, holding up two fingers. Neal sighs and walks back to Owen-- but Owen leaps up off the canvas, laying into Durden with a European Uppercut! Durden flies onto the back of his head and neck from the impact and Owen follows up with a jackknife pin!

Kris Cruise: Good timing, good awareness, and amazing strength here by Neal Durden, but Owen Gonsalves nearly landed on the top of his head from that modified Powerbomb Facebuster.
Stephy Auger: I’ll never forgive you, Neal!
Neal rises to his feet and makes his way to his corner, tagging in Lowri Moss to a roar from the crowd! Lowri steps into the ring, rushing to a neutral corner-- and as the camera pans out we see that Owen Gonsalves is groggily rising to his feet in the opposite corner. Lowri charges across the ring-- but Gonsalves rushes out of the corner, going for a Bicycle Knee Strike!
Stephy Auger: Soul Stea-- no!
Lowri shoulder-rolls beneath the attempt, avoiding the knee by what seems like centimeters! She pops up, immediately drilling Owen with a German Suplex! Owen rolls to his feet and pushes himself off of the ropes-- into a second German Suplex! Lowri floats into a cover, hooking the near leg as the audience counts along!

Kickout!Kris Cruise: I was just talking about the strength of Neal Durden, but how about the strength of Lowri Moss?!
Stephy Auger: Not strong enough to carry her team through Dynamic Duos!
Kris Cruise: Stop.
Lowri goes out to the apron and quickly scales the turnbuckles, perched on the top. Gonsalves rises to his feet and Lowri leaps off for the Diving Crossbody-- but Owen catches her! The audience pops for the display… and Owen tosses Lowri into the air, grabbing her arm on the way down for a Double Knee Armbreaker! Lowri cries out in pain, and Owen immediately wraps his legs around her, going for the Kimura Lock, but Lowri fights desperately with her free arm, throwing forearms into Owen’s face!
Kris Cruise: Owen’s looking for the Equivalent Exchange, but Lowri Moss is having none of it!
Finally, after the fifth forearm shot, Owen releases, covering up instead! Lowri rolls away and up to her feet, shaking her arm before stomping the rising Owen across the back! Ace Watson yells for the tag, growing impatient on the apron. Owen rises and pivots-- but has barely turned all the way before being caught with an roundhouse kick to the temple from Moss! The shot knocks Gonsalves through the ropes and to the apron. He staggers to his feet-- but an Enzuigiri from Moss knocks him to the floor! Immediately, Moss tags Neal Durden!
Kris Cruise: Owen Gonsalves is getting overwhelmed! Ace Watson has yet to see action in this match!
Neal bounces eagerly on the apron, amping himself up as Owen rises to his feet. Neal runs across the apron and somersaults through the air, going for a Somersault Plancha-- but Owen catches him on his shoulders! Owen sinks a bit dropping one of Neal’s legs-- but recovers, hooking it beneath his arm! Owen launches Neal to the floor with a Capture Suplex! The audience roars and Owen pulls himself to his feet, glaring down at Neal… but he rolls into the ring. Owen marches to his corner and tags in Ace Watson, who immediately drops to the floor and sprints full-speed, slamming into Neal Durden with a European Uppercut, knocking him roughly against the barricade.
Stephy Auger: There are those damn uppercuts! Someone’s gonna lose a set of teeth one day. Might as well start with these two goons, Neal and Lowri.
The ref has already started his ten-count, but Ace rolls Neal into the ring at the count of one, sliding in himself at two. Ace strikes the grounded Neal with a knee strike to his ribs. Neal groans, rolling onto his back, but Ace does the same thing, hooking him for a front facelock. The larger man forces Durden to his feet, and hooks him for a Suplex-- but Durden blocks it. Watson seems caught off-guard as Durden immediately nails him with a release Snap Suplex!
Kris Cruise: Neal out of nowhere with the counter!
Stephy Auger: Yeah, but look. Ace is still getting up first. Neal got rocked with that uppercut.
Ace is indeed on his feet first. He shoots the ropes as Neal still struggles to stand upright. Watson come back for a Shining Wizard-- but Neal ducks! Watson turns around, swinging for a Clothesline, but Neal avoids it again-- and avoids the rebound back elbow to a roar from the crowd! He delivers a stomp to Ace Watson’s gut and nails a Double-Arm Suplex! Neal rises to his feet in his corner, allowing Lowri to tag herself in. He walks forward a bit and drops forward to his hands and knees. Ace reaches a vertical base as Lowri enters the ring and rushes forward, using Neal’s back as a platform to step-up and nail a flying Tornado DDT!
Kris Cruise: That move might look a little familiar to Shootcamp!
Lowri hooks the far leg and leans into a deep cover!

Lowri cries out and turns around into a second European Uppercut, staggering her! Ace strides forward and nails a third European Uppercut, knocking Lowri to a knee! Watson tags Owen in and Irish Whips Lowri once more, hitting her with a Scoop Powerslam! Lowri sits upright from the impact and Owen rushes forward, hitting a Running Meteora! Stephy Auger: Moss is trying to escape!
Before Moss can reach the ropes, Owen pulls her upright and overhead into a deadlift, bridging Tiger Suplex!

Lowri hits the ground, but rolls up to her feet again! Owen shoots the ropes and comes back to hit a second one-- but Lowri counters with a Dropsault! Owen smashes viciously into the mat and Lowri lies still, unable to capitalize. Screams for both competitors ring out through the arena before Neal stomps on the apron, slapping his hand on the top turnbuckle, yelling for Lowri to crawl!
Stephy Auger: I… I think Moss knocked Owen Gonsalves clean out, Cruise!
Kris Cruise: Lowri needs to make the tag or the cover ASAP!
Lowri Moss attempts the former, seeing Owen beginning to stir. She rises to her knees, and finally her feet, falling into her corner to slap the outstretched hand of Neal Durden! Owen staggers to his feet and reaches for Ace Watson-- but Neal nails him with a Back Suplex! He clutches Owen in a rear waist lock and rolls through, positioning him for a German Suplex straight into the ropes, but Owen fights back with a hard back elbow, the shot echoing throughout the venue! Durden reels and Owen shoots the ropes, rebounding into a sprint, driving all of his weight into a European Uppercut! Durden flips onto his stomach from the impact and Owen forces him up into a Scoop Slam position! He backs into his own corner, allowing Ace Watson to tag himself in!
Kris Cruise: Tag to Watson! And Shootcamp has something nasty planned for Neal Durden!
Ace rushes into the ring and shoots the rope, rebounding with a Running Dropkick to Durden’s back, knocking Owen back, driving Durden down with the Michinoku Driver! Owen rolls out of the ring and Ace hooks both legs for a cover!

THR--
Moss dives into the ring and shoves Watson off of her partner! Ace glares at Lowri and rises to his feet! The ref begins to count Lowri out and she backs away to her corner, glaring right back at Watson.
Stephy Auger: You see that?! They’ve resorted to cheating, Cruise!
Kris Cruise: Lowri broke up the pin but she got out well before the ref’s count of five. Now Ace Watson’s g-- NEAL WITH THE KNEE BAR!
Out of nowhere, just as Watson steps near Durden, he’s taken down into Durden’s version of the knee bar! Watson’s eyes are wide and his mouth is open in silent agony, unable to bend his left leg. He look around for the ropes, and sees Owen’s outstretched hand, but Watson is in the center of the ring! The audience roars, torn for both men! Watson groans in pain as he pushes himself up on his palms-- but he sinks down again! Owen steps into the ring and rushes forward, delivering a Cannonball Senton to Durden’s chest! Durden cries out and releases the hold!
Stephy Auger: You see what happens?! You see how Lowri and Neal are negatively influencing even veterans like Owen Gonsalves?! My God.
Kris Cruise: Here comes Lowri!
Owen turns around toward the sound of running-- right into a Superkick from Moss!
Kris Cruise: Breuddwydion Melus!
The shot knocks Owen through the ropes and out to the floor! Lowri glares down at Owen from the ring-- but she’s caught from behind in a Full Nelson from Watson, who leaps up into the air, hitting a Backstabber!
Stephy Auger: And the Replay!
Lowri clutches her back, rolling beneath the ropes and out to the apron. Watson turns back to Neal-- and once again, he’s caught in the Knee Bar, this time falling in the opposite direction! The audience roars for Durden, who wrenches the hold, rolling from side to side! Watson cries out in pain, face growing red in frustration. He finally raises his hand in the air and brings it down…
...but stops an inch short of the mat, squeezing his hands into fists instead. Watson digs his elbows into the canvas and crawls slowly across the ring, eyes on the bottom rope. With a groan, he finally grabs the bottom rope! Neal looks dejected, not releasing the hold at first!
Ref: ONE! TWO!
Neal Durden releases, rolling away to the center of the ring, pushing himself to his knees with his eyes never leaving Watson. Watson uses the ropes to pull himself up and Neal rushes him from behind with a shoulder to the small of the back before going for a German Suplex-- but Watson blocks it, still clutching the top rope! The referee warns Neal again, this time to break the waist lock!
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE!
At three, Neal rips Watson off the ropes and nails a German Suplex, but Watson rolls away before Neal can bridge! Watson looks toward his corner, but Owen is still crawling up to the apron using the steel steps. Neal look for a tag as well, but Lowri Moss isn’t quite to their tag corner yet, still dazed on the apron!
Stephy Auger: Neal is getting desperate in there!
Kris Cruise: He feels his opportunity to put Ace Watson down slipping but both men need the tag! Gonsalves is dazed though! Neal Durden might already have this!
Neal nods, slapping himself a bit to get into the match. He pushes himself up to a knee and then to his feet, stalking Watson from behind. He goes for the Olympic Slam-- but Watson drops down behind him and nails a forearm to the back of the head! Watson turns, nailing a forearm of his own to the face, taking Watson to a knee. Neal looks for a DDT-- but Watson counters with an Exploder Suplex, sending Neal into the turnbuckles! Neal lands awkwardly, his right foot landing beneath his body! Immediately, Neal cries out in agony and Watson drags him out of the corner, hooking the near leg for the cover!

Stephy Auger: All of Durden’s weight landed on his right foot and ankle with that Exploder. He’s definitely feeling it now, Cruise. Look at him!
Climbing up to his feet on the apron, Owen Gonsalves looks over at Durden, noting his movements. Watson pulls Durden up and goes to Irish Whip him into the corner-- but Neal reverses and sends Watson crashing into his own corner at full-speed! Watson screams in agony, colliding sternum-first with the turnbuckle… but makes the subtle tag to Owen Gonsalves’ chest! Watson bounces back into Neal Durden’s arms! Durden hoists him up into a Fireman’s Carry… hobbling on one leg to do so… before throwing himself back, nailing Watson with an Overhead Kick!
Kris Cruise: Nirvana’s Fall! But Neal never saw the tag!
Ace begins to roll away toward his corner, clutching his head after the move. Neal rises to his feet, limping after him-- and Owen slingshots himself over the top rope from the apron, spiking Neal Durden with a DDT! Instead of a normal cover, Owen crosses Neal’s legs at the ankles, performing a half-turned jackknife cover, Neal crying out in pain from the torque on his ankle while the ref counts!

Lowri shoves Owen Gonsalves off of her partner just after the three count! Owen lands in a seated position in the corner, looking out at Ace, who sits upright on the apron, completely dazed while the bell sounds and “Horseshoes and Handgrenades” hits the PA!
J.A. Aldridge: Here are your winners… SHOOOOOOOOTCAMP!
Lowri continues to check on Neal as the ref raises Owen and Watson’s arms-- Owen standing in the corner and Ace on the apron, leaning against the ropes. Both men give a nod to Lowri, who says something back to them, nodding slightly, before once again turning her attention to Neal.
Stephy Auger: Tough break before the rooks! Looks like Neal got himself all roughed up.
Kris Cruise: Definitely a tough loss for Durden and Moss, but a hard win for Shootcamp. The rookies from Wales did not make it easy on one of the most popular tag teams in FGA. In the end, Ace and Owen capitalized on misfortune to pick up the win-- but the bottom line is they
did capitalize. I just hope Neal’s not too hurt.
Neal is able to make it to his feet inside the ring with help from Lowri and the ref, earning a pop from the crowd. We cut to a shot of Owen and Ace slapping the hands of a few hands on their way up the ramp as we fade away.
