Kris Cruise: Alright, Stephy! It’s main event time here on the first Vertigo on FX! One of these lucky competitors will be heading into Final Frontier to challenge Johnny Karma for the FGA Undisputed Championship! But who is it going to be?
Stephy Auger: This can’t be everyone, right?
Kris Cruise: GM Brandon Macdonald said he was going to try and find a replacement after Chris Madison pulled himself from this match.
Stephy Auger: Well it looks like Macdonald couldn’t fi-
A song crashes into the P.A. system that sounds of static and a guitar. The lights begin to flash a violent red frantically.
Stephy Auger: NO WAY!
As the song "Murdered Out" by Kim Gordon really kicks in, the lights continue to flash red. A silhouette appears at the entrance. With a controlled stagger, Jimmy Page comes from the back, head down and arms out from his sides.
Kris Cruise: YES WAY! IT’S JIMMY PAGE!
Stephy Auger: NOOOOO!
age swaggers down to the ring in at a methodical pace. The camera gets a close up of his hair covered face as he makes his way down the aisle. He stops at the top of the ramp, flinging his hair from his eyes and glaring around, chewing on a piece of gum. Through the static red, a spotlight follows Page as he makes his way to the front of the ring.
Kris Cruise: JIMMY PAGE! JIMMY PAGE IS THE LAST MAN IN THIS BATTLE ROYAL!
Stephy Auger: He wasn’t even supposed to be here!
Kris Cruise: Page wasn’t about to pass up an opportunity to get his hands on Chris Bond after Bond stabbed him in the back at Patriot Games!
The sea of wrestlers part, leaving Page a clear path right to Bond.
Stephy Auger: What the hell are they doing? Get back in front of Chris Bond!
As soon as Page rolls into the ring, he’s immediately attacked by Reid, Williams and Fenrys. The crowd boos when the trio of Crows stomp the hell out of Page. The bell sounds to officially kick off the Battle Royal.
Kris Cruise: Here we go, Stephy! The New Murder aren’t wasting any time as they’re ganging up on Page!
The boos then turn to cheer when Shootcamp and Edwards make their way over and attack the trio. Ace Watson takes Williams and brings her over into one corner, Owen Gonsalves takes Fenrys and bring him into another corner while James Edwards takes Reid to the other side of the ring.
Across the ring, Luke Jackson and Ymir Ocampos can be seen trading blows with Serpent’s Touch. Both pairs continue to trade blows until Faye Valentine drops to her knees and low blows Jackson. The crowd boos as Jackson buckles his knees before crumbling to the mat. Valentine returns to her feet, rushes over and attacks Ocampos from behind. After Serpent’s Touch bring Ocampos into the corner, they each grab a leg and try to dump her over the top rope. But Ocampos wraps her arms around the top ropes and hangs on for dear life.
Kris Cruise: The young rookie has the chance of a lifetime to main event Frontier Frontier.
Stephy Auger: Yeah? Well her dreams are about to go up in smoke!
Back in the corner, Watson takes Williams and nails her with a barrage of forearm smashes that send The Emerald Jewel slumping down in the corner. Watson follows up with a series of knee strikes to the seated Williams before bringing her back to her feet. Watson turns Williams towards the ropes, wraps his arms around her legs and goes to dump her over the top rope. But Williams hangs on for dear life. The crowd cheers when Watson has her parallel to the top rope. But the cheers turn to boos when Williams reaches back and rakes him across the eyes.
Against the ropes is Reid, who is being nailed with repeated shoulder thrusts to the midsection from Edwards. Edwards goes for one last shoulder thrust, but he gets caught with a knee lift. The crowd boos when Reid switches positions with him and nails him with a flurry of punches, kicks, knees and elbows.
Across the ring in another corner is Fenrys, who is on the receiving end of a series of shoot kicks from Gonsalves. The Technical Spectacle follows up with a barrage of European Uppercuts. He then scoops Fenrys up across his shoulders and goes to dump him over the top rope. But Fenrys blocks it with several elbows to the head.
Kris Cruise: The New Murder are struggling to hang on after getting the early 3-on-1 advantage on Jimmy Page.
Stephy Auger: This match is far from over, Cruise. Trust me when I tell you that The New Murder will be there in the end.
The Battle-Hardened Veteran puts the boots to Page before dropping down to his knees and choking him with both hands. The crowd boos as there’s no ref in place to force Bond to break the hold. After about 10 seconds, Bond lets go. While Page gasps for air, Bond brings Page back to his feet, runs and tosses him through the ropes and onto the apron. He then reaches through the ropes, places Page in a front facelock and sets his up for the Rejection. Bond smirks upon hearing the boos from the crowd. He then taunts the crowd by cupping his free hand to his ear, which elicits even louder boos from the crowd. Before Bond can plant him with the rope-hung DDT, Page frees himself, lifts Bond up and falls back, dropping him across the top rope with a hotshot.
Stephy Auger: Oh no!
Kris Cruise: All that taunting caught up to Bond!
Sadie San Francisco finds herself being tackled into the corner by Fujiko. The Inescapable tries to hoist Sadie over the top rope. But Sadie is able to apply a front facelock and follows up with sharp elbows to the back of the neck. While Fujiko stays doubled over in front of Sadie, Lowri Moss runs across the ring and uses Fujiko’s back to nail Sadie with a step-up enzuigiri. While Sadie is momentarily dazed, Lowri and Fujiko each grab a leg and go to hoist Sadie over the top rope. But the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion wraps her arms around the top ropes and hangs on for dear life.
Kris Cruise: Sadie San Francisco is almost out!
Stephy Auger: Maybe if Selfish San Francisco didn’t drive Evan Envi and NEON away, they’d be right here to save her!
Kris Cruise: NEON… saving Sadie? Please, she’d be right there trying to throw Sadie out!
Daniel Widdel gets turned around before getting knocked down to the canvas by a roundhouse kick from Julian Tijerina. The boos continue as Tijerina puts the boots to Widdel. He then picks up Widdel, runs and tosses him over the top rope. Tijerina turns and raises his arms in the air. But the celebration is premature as Widdel isn’t eliminated. Instead of falling to the floor, Widdel landed on the apron. When Tijerina turns around, he sees Widdel pulling himself up onto the apron. So Tijerina runs over to finish the job. Before Tijerina can attack, Widdel slides back into the ring through Tijerina’s legs. When Tijerina turns around, Widdel and Flavia Rocha connects with a double dropkick, knocking El Guapo through the ropes and to the floor.
Kris Cruise: Tijerina just got sent to the outside!
Stephy Auger: THROUGH the ropes, not over the top! He is NOT eliminated!
Page takes Bond and whips him into the ropes. When Bond returns, Page connects with Sole Destruction (rolling big boot), knocking Bond through the ropes and to the floor. Page then steps out onto the apron before jumping down to the floor.
Kris Cruise: What does Page have in store on the outside?
Stephy Auger: I don’t know, but the referees need to instill some order and get him back inside.
Kris Cruise: With the mood that Page is in, I don’t think these ref’s want to try and give him orders.
Page picks up Bond and connects with a straight right to the jaw, sending him staggering over towards the guardrail. As Page approaches from behind, Bond kicks him in the midsection and goes to slam him face-first onto the guardrail. But Page gets his hands on the rail, blocking the move. He then elbows Bond in the midsection before slamming him face-first onto the guardrail. He then picks up Bond before dropping him throat-first across the guardrail with a snake eyes. The crowd cheers as Bond goes down. Page turns, marches down ringside and grabs a hold of the black camera cable.
Kris Cruise: What’s he going to do with that.
Stephy Auger: What do you think he’s going to do with it, Cruise?
Page marches back down ringside before sitting up Bond, wrapping the black cable around Bond’s neck and choking him with it. The crowd cheers while Bond tries to free himself to no avail.
Kris Cruise: Listen to this capacity crowd, Stephy!
Stephy Auger: Yes, let’s listen to these savages as they cheer a man getting choked!
After a good fifteen seconds, Page finally lets go. He throws the wire down while Bond gasps for air. After bringing Bond back to a vertical base, Page nails him with a cross chop to the throat. He then takes Bond and goes for an irish whip. But Bond reverses, sending Page crashing against the guardrail. The crowd boos as Page can be seen arching his back. Bond lines up Page before charging down ringside. He motions for a clothesline. But Page counters with a back body drop over the guardrail. Instead of crashing back-first onto the floor, Bond sips down from behind. When Page turns around, Bond rakes him across the eyes before placing him in a front facelock.
Kris Cruise: OH NO!
Bond backs up, dragging Page’s body across the guardrail before keeping his shins in place. Bond looks around at the crowd and slowly nods before planting Page with the Rejection on the concrete floor.
Kris Cruise: MY GOD! BOND JUST DDT’D PAGE RIGHT ONTO THE CONCRETE FLOOR!
Stephy Auger: Serves him right! He’s the one that brought the action to the outside! He’s the one that brought the action into the crowd! Don’t feel sorry for him because I don’t!
The boos continue as Bond stands up and poses over Page’s unconscious body.
Kris Cruise: Chris Bond feels real proud of himself!
Stephy Auger: Judging by the pose, I’d say so!
Back inside, Reid takes Edwards and sends him into the opposite corner with an irish whip. Reid then runs across the ring and goes for a handspring back elbow. But Edwards catches her in mid air before delivering the Half Cut (half nelson suplex) into the turnbuckles.
Kris Cruise: What a counter from The Burning Heart!
Stephy Auger: Mollyyyyyyy!
In the opposite corner, Williams tries to lift Watson over the top rope. But she’s quickly hit with a shoot kick to the back of the thigh from Gonsalves. Shootcamp then presses Williams against the ropes and try to dump her over the top rope. But they’re stopped by the Elysian Empire, who attack them from behind. Elon grabs Watson, drags him away from the fray and throws him down with Chip Off My Shoulder (Angle Slam). Meanwhile, Emery throws Gonsalves down with a release German Suplex.
Stephy Auger: I never thought I’d see the day when I’m thanking the Elysian Empire. But thank you! THANK YOU!
Kris Cruise: The Elysian Empire have had chips on their shoulders for quite a while. I’m sure they aren’t thrilled with Shootcamp being looked at as the hot new Vertigo team even though the Elysians are former Tag Champs.
Stephy Auger: Didn’t Dom Harter tell you that these fans are fickle? I’m surprised they haven’t turned on you yet! It’d be the smartest thing they’ve ever done.
Kris Cruise: I now see why Laurel Anne Hardy can’t stand you!
Stephy Auger: If Laurel Anne Hardy was here, I’d smack the sparkles right off of her!
Back over in the corner, Sadie turns to Moss and nails her with a forearm strike. She then turns to Fujiko and nails her with a forearm strike. Sadie turns back to Moss and connects with another forearm strike. When she turns back to Fujiko, she gets caught with a gamengiri. Fujiko and Moss then move Sadie back into the corner and go to dump her over the top rope. But Rocha and Widdel attack them from behind.
Kris Cruise: The Mid-Atlantic Legacy champ just got saved by Rocha and Widdel!
Stephy Auger: Trying to get on the champ’s good side in the hopes that she’ll grant them a title shot for saving her. I’m on to their games, Cruise.
Over in the corner, the crowd cheers when Edwards lifts Reid up across his shoulders. He then goes to dump her over the top rope with a fireman’s carry. Reid’s almost out when Bond slides back in, runs up from behind and nails Edwards with a kick between the legs. The crowd erupts with boos when Edwards goes down. Bond and Reid proceed to stomp the hell out of The Burning Heart.
Kris Cruise: Molly Reid was damn near eliminated! Both Fenrys and Williams’ attempts were blocked. But Bond was able to sneak in and kick Edwards right where the sun doesn’t shine!
The Elysians take Shootcamp and whip them into the ropes. When Shootcamp return, the Elysians set up for a back body drop. But Shootcamp stop and kick they square in the face, standing the brothers upright. Watson then goes to work and hammers Elon with a barrage of forearm strikes while Gonsalves nails Emery with a series of European Uppercuts. While the Elysians are dazed, Shootcamp turn and run back into the ropes. When they return, Elon throws Watson down with a thrusting spinebuster while Emery sends Gonsalves flying across the ring with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Moss goes to dump Rocha over the top rope and to the floor. But Rocha is able to land safely on the apron. When Moss turns around, Rocha doubles her over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. She then goes for a springboard maneuver. But Moss catches her in mid air with a roundhouse kick, knocking her down to the floor.

As soon as Bond gets up on the floor, he’s immediately tackled down by Page. Page mounts himself on top of Bond when Harter pulls Page off of him. Harter and Page begin to trade blows until Bond gets up and attacks from behind. Fujiko goes to step through the ropes and jump to the floor to help Page. But she’s dragged back into the ring by Reid, who drops her down to a knee hard a hard forearm strike to the lower back.
Stephy Auger: Where did she think she was going?
While Harter and Bond brawl with Page up the aisle and to the back, Reid runs into the ropes. When she returns, she knocks Fujiko down with a front dropkick to the face. The boos continue as Reid returns to her fete before heading into the ropes. When she returns, she performs a rolling thunder into a senton. But she ends up landing across Fujiko’s knees.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko got the knees up! She got the knees up!
Stephy Auger: Come on, Molly! Shake it off!
The crowd cheers as Fujiko picks up Reid, lifts her up and delivers the MIDA Multi-Tool. After slowly turning over into the prone position, Reid struggles to get back to her feet as Fujiko runs past her towards the ropes. The cheers continue when Fujiko brings her down with a handspring rebound ace crusher. After Reid turns over onto her back, Fujiko heads back into the ropes. When she returns, she goes for a standing Shooting Star Press. But she ends up landing across Reid’s knees.
Stephy Auger: Molly countered! She got HER knees up!
Kris Cruise: Both of these grapplers are down! Both grapplers, former Pride Champions, are looking to punch their ticket for Final Frontier! One of these two grapplers will challenge Johnny Karma for the FGA Undisputed Championship! Will it be Molly Reid, who watched on as Karma defeated Harter here tonight? Or will it be Fujiko, the woman that stood side by side with Karma for the majority of 2016 against the likes of The New Kings?
Reid picks up Fujiko and whips her hard into the corner. She then rushes over to attack. But Fujiko turns her around with a boot to the face. Before Fujiko can attack, Reid quickly follows up with a pelé kick. She then turns Fujiko towards the ropes, wraps her arms around Fujiko’s legs and goes to dump her over the top rope. But Fujiko ducks and counters with a handstand calf kick. While Reid is dazed, Fujiko gets back to her feet, turns and runs into the ropes. When she returns, Reid knocks her down with a Superman Punch. The boos continue as Reid picks up Fujiko, runs and tosses her over the top rope. Reid turns and raises her arms in victory. But she quickly notices that the bell hasn’t rung. When she turns around, she sees Fujiko hanging onto the top rope with both hands. So Reid runs over and goes to knock Fujiko off the ropes with a baseball slide. But Fujiko’s able to “skin the cat” back into the ring while Reid slides to the outside. Reid hops up onto the apron, only to get knocked back down to the floor with a 360 Kick. As Reid picks herself up and shakes off the cobwebs, Fujiko turns and runs into the far ropes. When she comes back, the crowd cheers when she soars through the ropes and knocks Reid down with a topé suicida!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko just wiped out Reid with that dive to the outside!
The cheers continue as Fujiko picks up Reid and rolls her back into the ring. After climbing up onto the apron, Fujiko scales to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and goes for a diving double foot stomp. But Reid’s able to roll out of the way. After Fujiko lands on her feet, her momentum sends her rolling forward. When Fujiko rolls back to her feet turns around, the crowd boos when Reid brings her down with a double knee facebreaker. But the cheers turn to sighs when Reid only lands on the apron. Fujiko drops to her knees. Once she returns to her feet, she sees Reid pulling herself up using the ropes. So she rushes over to attack. But Reid’s able to quickly slide back in through her legs. When Fujiko turns around, she gets hit with the Molly Kick, knocking her over the top rope and to the floor.
