Alistair Mangold vs. Chris Q

The bell sounds as both men make their way to the center of the ring and lock up. After jockeying for position, Chris places Mangold in a side headlock. But Mangold quickly shoves Chris off of him, sending him into the ropes. When Chris comes back, Mangold knocks him down with a running shoulderblock. He then runs into the ropes as Chris turns over and gets back up to his feet. When Mangold comes back, Chris leap frogs over him. Mangolds continues to run into the ropes. When Mangold comes back, Chris goes for another leap frog. But this time, Mangold catches him in the air and throws him down with a one-handed spinebuster. The crowd cheers as Mangold drops down to make the cover.

Chris Q kicks out.

Mangold picks up Chris, brings him into the corner and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. After turning Q around, Mangold unleashes a series of elbow strikes, followed by a series of knee strikes to the midsection, followed by a series of shoulder thrusts. He then grabs a hold of Q and whips him into the opposite corner. Mangold charges into the corner. But Q leans back and nails him with a boot to the face. As Mangold turns around and stumbles away from the corner, Q runs up from behind and brings him down with a bulldog. The crowd boos as Q pushes him over and makes the cover.

Q picks up Mangold, scoops him up from the side and delivers a backbreaker. He makes the cover.

Q picks him up and nails him with a right hand to the face before going for an irish whip. But Mangold reverses, sending Q into the ropes. When Q comes back, he slides through Mangold's legs. When Mangold turns around, Q gets up to his feet and runs over to attack him. But Mangold knocks him down with The Taker. The crowd cheers as he makes the cover.

As Mangold goes to pick him up, Q nails him with a knee strike to the midsection, doubling him over. He then quickly grabs Mangold by the neck, turns around and drops him with a neckbreaker. The crowd boos as he turns over and makes the cover.

Q picks up Mangold and whips him into the ropes. When Mangold comes back, Q nails him with a kitchen sink to the midsection, sending Mangold flipping down to the canvas. Q then goes over, picks up Mangold and delivers a snap suplex. He turns over and hooks the leg.

Q picks up Mangold and goes for an irish whip. But Mangold reverses, sending Q into the ropes. When Q comes back, Mangold goes for The Taker again. But this time, Q catches his foot. Q begins to taunt Mangold as the crowd boos. He then spins Mangold around. When Mangold comes back, Q kicks him in the midsection and takes him down with a facebuster. The crowd boos as he turns Mangold over and makes the cover.

Mangold gets his shoulder up to cheers from the crowd. Frustrated, Q claps his hands three times in an obnoxious manner at the referee.

Q then picks up Mangold, only to throw him down with a scoop slam. He then heads into the corner and begins to climb the turnbuckles. Once he reaches the top, Q backflips off for a moonsault. But Mangold gets his knees up, forcing Q to come crashing down across them to cheers from the crowd. While Q curls up in pain, Mangold begins to slowly get up to his feet. He goes over, reaches down, hooks his arms around Q's waist and delivers a deadlift release german suplex. Cheers and applause can be heard throughout the crowd. Mangold then crawls over, turns Q over and makes the cover.

Mangold picks up Q and whips him into the ropes. When Q comes back, Mangold lifts him up and begins to military press Q over his head to cheers from the crowd. But Q reaches down and swipes across Mangold's face, raking him across the eyes. The crowd boos as Q slips down from behind. He then runs into the ropes. When Q comes back, Mangold scoops him up and delivers a pendulum backbreaker. He then lifts Q up off his knees, walks around the ring and delivers a sidewalk slam. Cheers and applause can be heard throughout the crowd as Mangold turns over to make the cover.

Frustrated, Mangold picks up Q and whips him into the corner. Mangold then crouches down before sprinting towards the corner and going for a spear. But Q moves out of the way, causing Mangold to collide shoulder-first with the ring post. The thud from the impact can be heard throughout the building. As Mangold stumbles back, Q grabs a hold of him and delivers the Cracker-Jack. The crowd boos. Q then picks up Mangold, scoops him up across his shoulder and plants him with The Compactor. The crowd boos as the ref slides over to start the count.

“The Earth's Rotation Around The Sun” plays as Chris Q gets his arm raised in victory to boos from the crowd. Chris proceeds to make his way around the ring, surveying the crowd as they boo him. He then rests his forearms across the top rope and smirks as he looks around at the jeering fans.

Kevin Clement: Welcome fans to this latest presentation by Frontier Grappling Arts. We're coming to you from the Court Time Sports Complex in Elizabeth, New Jersey for this One Year Anniversary Show! I am Kevin Clement. Joining me as always is my colleague, Evan Grayson. And Evan, did you think that we would be here nearly one year later?

Evan Grayson: It's amazing when you look back on everything. Hell, we weren't even here for those first handful of shows. But I look back at those first shows and I see how everything has changed. I've seen how this company has progressed. I see how this company has grown. But at the same time, it has kept true to its motto: respect, achieve and ascend. It is an honor not only to be apart of this company, but to be apart of history here tonight.

Clement: History will indeed be made here tonight during the One Year Anniversary Show. We have so many matches for you tonight. Including the FGA Heavyweight Cha--

The classic beginning notes of "Ride of the Valkyries" plays over the PA, cutting off Kevin Clement.

Clement: And speaking of the devil, here he is right now.

Grayson: It doesn't look like our champion is going to waste any time here tonight, is he?

Clement: Chandler never wastes an opportunity to get in front of the camera or stand in the spotlight.....

Out through the curtain steps Chandler Scott, wearing his Harvard letterman jacket. He raises the FGA Heavyweight Championship in the air, resulting in massive boos from the crowd. Chandler proceeds to walk down the ring, sticking his nose in the air at the crowd that boos and jeers him. After Chandler hops onto the apron, he steps into the ring. He slowly turns around in a circular motion with his arms outstretched, basking in his glory while the crowd continues to boo. Manny Cruz then hands him a mic. Chandler snatches it from him and begins to speak.

Chandler: Tonight is a special occasion. It's a night for reflection. It's a night to be filled with joy. It's a night to celebrate.... YOUR FGA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

(Chandler smirks as the crowd boos)

Chandler: Tonight I will once again go into this very ring and defend the very belt that rests across his shoulder. I will walk into this ring an underdog. For some strange reason, the reigning champion will walking into a match to defend his championship as an underdog. And why, you ask? It's because of all of you.

(Chandler turns in a circle as he points out to the crowd. The crowd begins to boo him as he nods.)

Chandler: I'll be the underdog because you want me to be one. You want me to have no chance at winning. You want me to have no shot at walking out with MY Heavyweight Championship. That's how jealous all of you are. That's how envious you all are of everything that I have. My success and my talent makes you so bitter than you think that A.J. Fairchild, some little snot-nosed punk kid, is actually the favorite. But don't feel too special, because it's not just you. All of the boys in the back, they want to see me lose, too. The FGA front office? They can't wait for this belt to get taken off of me after what I did to their little golden boy. A.J. Fairchild wants me to lose, for obvious reasons. And then there's the special guest for this evening. The guest that gets welcomed back into the FGA house after walking out without so much as a goodbye. Ben Hanson.

(The crowd explodes into a collective cheer after Ben's name get's mentioned. A loud “METAL HEART!” chant starts up, much to the chagrin of Chandler.)

Chandler: That's right. You people loooooooove Ben Hanson. He, out of everyone, wants to see me lose this belt the most. After all, I'm the man that beat him for this very belt. Now Ben claims that he doesn't resent me because I beat him for this belt. He says that me embarrassing him back at Above & Beyond didn't cause him to leave. He says that he doesn't want to screw me tonight. He only accepted the offer to be the special guest referee because he wants to be apart of history. Well, just like most of what comes out of his mouth, that, too, is a bold faced lie.

(The crowd boos. A “CHANDLER SUCKS!” chant starts up. Chandler can't help but to crack a smirk.)

Chandler: Even with a marginally talented opponent, a hostile crowd and the most crooked of crooked referees against me, I will rise above it all and once again walk out victorious. I will retain MY Heavyweight Championship. All the boos in the world won't matter in the end. And Ben Hanson doesn't have the spine to put his hands on me. Because he knows better than anyone that I'll knock him out at the drop of a hat. And then there's you, A.J.

(The crowd begins a “LET'S GO AJ!”, "A.J. FAIRCHILD" chant. Chandler moves his hand in a circular motion, as if to signal to the crowd to keep it going.)

Chandler: That's right, cheer him on. That's right. Clap your hands, stomp your feet, scream at the top of your lungs for him. He is going to need all the help that he can get. But in the end, it still won't be enough. And that's going to be the worst part, A.J. Not the fact that you choked here worse than you did at FRONTIER vs FGA. Not the fact that you failed to win this FGA Heavyweight Championship. But the fact that you had the deck ridiculously stacked in your favor.... and you STILL couldn't beat me. That is what's going to kill you the most. But hey, don't take it personally. People far more talented than you could ever be couldn't take this belt from me, either. So don't beat yourself up too much over it. People like you just aren’t cut out to wear championship gold.

(Chandler cackles as the crowd boos)

Chandler: Tonight, we start off the evening by celebrating one year of Frontier Grappling Arts. But by the end of the night, we will be celebrating again. You'll be celebrating yours truly as I kick off another 365 days of dominance!

(Chandler drops the mic and raises the belt over his head as “Ride of the Valkyries” blares throughout the building. The crowd boos as Chandler exits the ring, holding the FGA Heavyweight Championship over his head as he heads to the back.)

[FGA Office]

(Justice Young is backstage with Pat Gordon, Jr. as the Southie Scrapper gets set to do battle with Rayzor in just a little bit. The FGA backdrop is in full effect and Gordon looks rabid.)

Young: "Pat Gordon, Jr, you suffered a concussion just two weeks ago at FRONTIER vs FGA. What shape are you in for tonight's match with Rayzor?"

The Boston Bruiser took the question in stride, but it was obvious he had other things on his mind.

PGJR: "I'm f-f-f. I'm f-f-f. I'm grand, Jocelyn. Couldn't be better. Tonight I'm gonna beat Rayzor and show just how f-f-f... how great I'm feeling. "

"But right now I want to talk about Ryu Kanata. Kanata, you almost ruined everything for FGA two weeks ago just because of your personal jealousies about losing to Ryan Kidd in two huge matches in one weekend. And I know what was at stake - a shot at the FGA Heavyweight Title and the UWL International Title. But you nearly cost us - cost ME - EVERYTHING by attacking Ryan Kidd two weeks ago at FRONTIER vs FGA when OUR PRIDE was on the line. And you're damn lucky that Ryan Kidd is the trooper he is, that he was able to pull through despite your cowardly sneak attack, despite that douche-berry Chandler Scott's antics, and win that tag team match to draw us level with Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER."

Gordon shook his finger.

PGJR: "But your actions have not gone unnoticed, Kanata. You've dishonored yourself and you almost brought shame to all of FGA. And I won't stand for it. So you'd better watch tonight what I do to Rayzor. Because that's what's in store for you."

Pat Gordon, Jr. stormed off the set.

Justice: "That was Pat Gordon, Jr. with some strong words for Ryu Kanata. Back to you, Kevin."

"The Renascence" Jacques Mercier vs. "Almighty" John Raide

The lights cut to black as “No Church in the Wild” by Jay-Z and Kanye West ft. Frank Ocean begins to play. The lights begin to flash and at the 24 second mark, Jacques Mercier comes out with a huge grin on his face. He stops at the top of the stage, soaking in the atmosphere, before nodding his head and walking towards the ring.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, now residing out of Boston, Massachusetts... weighing in at 230 pounds...."The Renascence" JACQUES MERCIER!

Clement: Jacques Mercier makes his long awaited return to an FGA ring tonight as he takes on Almighty John Raide.

Grayson: Long awaited? Who was waiting for him? I certainly wasn't. I think most people forget about him, honestly.

He doesn’t bother using the stairs, preferring to just slide into the ring. He walks to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs it to another ovation before climbing down and waiting for his opponent.

The lights in the venue dim down low, and the throbbing beat of a kick-drum thumping over and over again is heard. The lights flash in time with the beat.

"Oh my God
Please help me
Knee deep in the river trying to get clean
He says wash your hands get out the stains
but you best believe boy there's hell to pay
yeah you best believe boy there's hell to pay"

"Bartholomew" by The Silent Comedy kicks in over the PA system in the FGA venue for tonight, and "Almighty" John Raide steps out from behind the black curtain. He stands solemn at the top of the entrance way as fans practically spill over the guard rails with their hands out, reaching for their hero. Raide looks out over the sizable crowd and smirks. He starts his walk to the ring.

Cruz: And his opponent, now residing out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by way of Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada.... weighing in at 239 pounds.... "Almighty" JOHN RAIDE!

Wrestling fans fall over themselves slapping Raide's back and touching him if they can. By the time he makes his way to the ring, a large chant of "FADE-TO-BLACK" echoes throughout the venue, which Raide ignores and hops up onto the apron. He enters the ring through the middle rope and quickly moves to his corner, not acknowledging the audience or the chants in his favour. He slumps into his corner, waiting for the bell to ring.

Clement: John Raide is the most veteran member of this roster with an astounding 22 years and counting in this business.

Grayson: Veterans of this sport say that they've been wrestling since they're opponents were in diapers. With John Raide, he was actually wrestling when his opponents were literally in diapers.

Clement: Raide has a wealth of knowledge and experience. But can his body hold up? Can he keep up the pace? Will he be able to adapt after all this time away from the sport?

The bell sounds as both men make their way to the ring and partake in a quick handshake. After circling the ring, they go to lock up. But Raide ducks the collar & elbow tie-up and applies a waistlock from behind. But Jacques elbows him in the face before performing a standing switch, applying a waistlock from behind of his own. Raide then elbows Jacques in the face before reaching down and pulling one of Jacques' legs out from under him, knocking him down. Raide immediately turns around and goes for a leg submission, but Jacques uses his free leg to push Raide down to the canvas. As both men get up, Jacques reaches over and applies a side headlock. But Raide shoves Jacques off of him and into the ropes. When Jacques comes back, Raide goes for a running shoulderblock. But Jacques doesn't budge. So Raide runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he goes for another running shoulderblock. But again, Jacques doesn't budge. After looking Jacques up and down, Raide points to the ropes, challenging Jacques to give him his best shot. Jacques shrugs his shoulders before running into the ropes. When Jacques comes back, Raide knocks him down with a clothesline. The crowd cheers.

Clement: Perfect set up there by Raide, baiting his opening with the challenge.

Jacques gets back up, but Raide knocks him down with a right hand. The crowd cheers. As Jacques gets back up, Raide grabs him by the arm and whips him into the ropes. When Jacques comes back, Raide goes for a pedulum backbreaker. But Jacques counters into a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takeover. The crowd cheers. Raide gets up, but Jacques throws him down with an arm drag. The crowd cheers. Raide gets back up, but Jacques throws him back down with another arm drag. The crowd cheers. As Raide gets up, Jacques kicks him in the midsection and lifts him up for a vertical suplex stunner. But Raide slips down from behind and brings him down with a russian leg sweep. Raise floats over and makes the cover.

Clement: First nearfall of the match goes to John Raide, who looks pretty good thus far.

Grayson: Exactly, "thus far". This match is still early.

Raide picks up Jacques and wrings his arm. Raide then takes Jacques by the arm and wrings it again, causing Jacques to cringe in pain. The ref asks Jacques if he wants to give up. But Jacques refuses to quit. After Raide delivers a third arm wringer, Jacques cartwheels over and counters into an arm wringer of his own to cheers from the crowd. He delivers another arm wringer, followed by a yank of the arm. The ref asks Raide if he wants to give up. But Raide refuses to quit. Jacques goes for another arm wringer. But as he turns around, Raide kicks him in the midsection and follows up with a snap DDT. He turns over and makes the cover.

Clement: Raide again with another nearfall. What do you see being Raide's biggest challenge going forward?

Grayson: His stamina. No one is doubting the man's mind. But it's one thing for your mind to want to do something. It's something else to have your body physically perform those actions. And the longer this match goes, the more it favors Jacques.

Raide picks up Jacques, brings him into the corner and slams his head into the top turnbuckle. After turning Jacques around, Raide delivers a series of knee strikes to the midsection. He then takes Jacques and whips him hard into the opposite corner. As Jacques stumbles out, Raide bounces into the ropes. When he comes back, he goes for a running clothesline. But Jacques ducks, causing Raide to run into the ropes. When Raide comes back, Jacques swings around, wraps his arm around his neck and brings him down with a sleeper drop. Jacques makes the cover.

Jacques picks up Raide and whips him into the ropes. When Raide comes back, Jacques bends over to set up a back body drop. But Raide stops and kicks Jacques square in the face, standing him up. While Jacques is dazed, Raide grabs him from the side and goes for a backdrop driver. But Jacques nails him with an elbow to the back of the head, forcing Raide to break the hold. While Raide is dazed, Jacques runs into the ropes. When he comes back, Raide picks him up, turns and throws him down with a spinebuster. The crowd cheers. Raide then rolls across him and hooks the leg.

Clement: Jacques gets his shoulder up. Raide once again coming close to a victory. We're sitting here questioning John Raide. But Jacques has been gone from the ring, too.

Grayson: But not for nearly as long as Raide has.

Raide picks him up, throws him down with a scoop slam and follows up with an elbow drop. He makes the cover.

Raide then picks up Jacques, brings him over to the ropes and goes for a slingshot suplex. But after Jacques bounces off the top rope, he slips down behind Raide. Jacques then quickly spins him around, lifts him up and delivers a vertical suplex stunner. The crowd cheers as he makes the cover.

Clement: Raide gets his shoulder up.

Jacques then steps through the ropes, climbs up to the top turnbuckle and crouches down, waiting for Raide to get up. Once Raide gets up and turns around, Jacques stands up and goes for a seated senton splash. But Raide steps back and counters with an inverted atomic drop to cheers from the crowd. While Jacques is doubled over in pain, Raide lifts him up and throws him down with a uranage. The crowd cheers as he makes the cover.

He then sits up Jacques and applies a rear chinlock. The ref asks Jacques if he wants to give up. But Jacques wags his finger at him. Raide begins to cinch in the hold while the crowd cheers for Jacques.

Crowd: RENASCENCE! RENASCENCE! RENASCENCE!

Clement: Despite the amount of time these men have been gone from wrestling, they both look relatively sharp.

Grayson: This has been more of an even match than I expected. I thought Jacques would win this thing running away. But Jacques' problem has always been his dedication and his lack of concentration, so this shouldn't be that big of a surprise.

Jacques begins to feed off the energy of the crowd as he begins to kick his legs and shake his fists. He turns over onto his knees before getting back up to his feet. He then nails Raide with three elbows to the midsection, breaking the hold. While Raide is doubled over, Jacques runs into the ropes. When Jacques comes back, Raide goes for a running clothesline. But Jacques ducks, sending Raide into the ropes. When Raide comes back, Jacques throws him down with a spinning lifting sitout spinebuster. The crowd cheers as he makes the cover.

But Jacques nails him with a right hands to the face. He then shoves Raide down from off the turnbuckles and to the canvas. The crowd cheers.

Clement: What could he be setting Raide up for?

Grayson: Who knows? But whatever it is, this match could be over if he hits it.

As Raide gets back up, Jacques stands up on the top turnbuckle and flips off, connecting with a seated senton splash. The crowd cheers as he turns over and makes the cover.

Clement: So close! I thought Jacques had that one.

Jacques then picks up Raide, grabs him from behind and hits a german suplex. Jacques rolls over, pulls up Raide and delivers another german suplex. Jacques rolls over, pulls up Raide and goes for a third german. But Raide blocks the move and then elbows Jacques in the face. After performing a standing switch, Raide hits a german suplex of his own. Raide rolls over, pulls up Jacques and delivers a second german. Raide rolls over, pulls up Jacques and delivers a release german suplex, sending Jacques flipping over his head to cheers from the crowd. As Jacques slowly pushes himself up off the canvas, Raide runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he nails Jacques in the face with OWN3D to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: What a knee to the face!

Grayson: Someone may want to pick up Jacques' teeth up off the ground.

He then gets up, picks up Jacques, underhooks his arms and then plants him with Fade to Black. The crowd cheers as he rolls over Jacques and makes the cover.

Cruz: Here is your winner, JOHN RAIDE!

John Raide gets up to his feet and gets his arm raised in victory. The crowd cheers.

Clement: John Raide picks up the win in his comeback to professional wrestling.

Grayson: I'll give Raide credit. He did far better than I ever expected. But we'll see how he does against an opponent that's more dedicated and more cutthroat than Jacques. As far as Jacques goes, meh. Same as usual. All hype, all disappointment.

(Justice Young is standing by backstage.)

Young: With me right now is Ryan Kidd who, later on tonight will be challenging Ryu Kanata in a No Holds Barred Match. Many people have questioned your reasons for requesting such a match against an opponent like Ryu. But from what you told me, you're not here right now to talk about Ryu.

Kidd: That's right. Justice, many people have questioned why I begged for the FGA Office to make my match with Ryu No Holds Barred. But with what I'm about to say, people are going to question why I'm overlooking a man as dangerous as Ryu is.

Young: What do you mean?

Kidd: Well, everyone knows that the main event for tonight is going to be Chandler Scott against A.J. Fairchild for the FGA Heavyweight Championship. It's going to be a good match. And either of them could win it. But I just want it on record that I'm officially challenging the winner of that match.

Young: That's fantastic news. But, why are you looking so far into the future when you may not even walk out of the ring tonight against Ryu Kanata?

Kidd: Justice, part of me feels like I should be the one challenging Chandler here tonight. Make no mistake about it, AJ beat me fair and square. I take nothing away from him. I like him. Respect him. And part of me wants to see him win tonight. But apart of me also wants to be the one to take that belt from Chandler. It wasn't that long ago when AJ and I faced off in the middle of that ring. And I was this close, Justice, this close to winning not only the 2012 New Frontiers Cup, but the #1 contendership. I was that close, Justice. I was right there. It was mine for the taking. And I let it slip away. If I get that chance again, I won't fail.

Young: No disrespect intended, but what makes you think that you'd be the best man to challenge either AJ or Chandler?

Kidd: With me and Chandler, there's history. I tried to put my feelings aside for the good of the company at FRONTIER vs FGA. And what does that jerk do? He taunts me. He mocks me. And then he attacks me, nearly costing FGA the main event. Yeah, Team FGA won the match. But that's beside the point. He nearly screwed up big time for all of us. And then he attacked me AGAIN after the match. Well that's not something that I've forgotten. And Chandler, if you somehow make it past AJ tonight, I'd love to be the one to wipe that smug look off your face and take that belt in the process.

And with me and AJ, there's nothing but respect. He's a hell of an athlete. But facts are facts. We were both not at 100% at Fear Itself. We each wrestled two times earlier. We prepared for a variety of opponents, not just each other. Now I'm not making any excuses. AJ, you beat me fair and square. And the better man one that night. But I want to see, and I think the fans want to see, who the better man is when we're both 100%, when we're both fresh, and we're both focused 100% on each other. It'd be a great match. It's something that I know both he and I want. But I think that's a match that I could win.

But as you said, that's in the future. I've got to focus on tonight. So if you'll excuse me, I've got a No Holds Barred Match to get ready for.

(Kidd pats Justice on the back as he heads out of view)

Young: You heard it here first. Ryan Kidd challenging the winner of Chandler and AJ to a championship match. But will his challenge even hold up? Will he even make it out of the ring in one piece tonight against Ryu Kanata? We'll find out in due time. Guys, back to you..........

"The Villain" Jack Owyns vs. "The Wonderboy" Mike Smith

The lights go off as “Fear Of A Blank Planet” kicks in. The first seven seconds go by and the lights flash just as the song picks up. The Wonderboy struts out and looks around the arena, smoke rising up to his knees. He takes a few steps forward and looks over the crowd again, raising his arm up before running down the ramp and sliding in under the bottom rope. He looks from left to right and turns to wait for his opponent.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from San Jose, California.... weighing in at 221 pounds.... “The Wonderboy” MIKE SMITH!

Clement: Mike Smith started out strong here in FGA, but has fallen into a bit of a funk lately.

Grayson: That's true. He hasn't been performing up to his usual standards. But his opponent hasn't had the best luck lately, either. So maybe this is the perfect opportunity for him to get back to his winning ways.

"Undead" by Hollywood Undead hits the airwaves, and the crowd reacts in chorus of boos. The Villain emerges from out behind the black curtain with a wicked grin ear to ear. He waves off the crowd reaction and makes his was down the aisle, towards the ring. Jack walks up the stairs and stops by the turnbuckle and scans the crowd before jumping over the top rope

Cruz: And his oppo--

The bell sounds as Owyns goes over and attacks Smith from behind, knocking him down with a clothesline. He follows up with a series of stomps to the back of the head. The crowd continues to boo as Owyns picks up and slams Smith's head into the top turnbuckle. After turning Smith around, Owyns unleashes a series of elbow strike to the head. He then grabs a hold of Smith and whips him into the opposite corner. Owyns runs into the corner and connects with a clothesline. Owyns then brings Smith from out of the corner, lifts him up and plants him with a brainbuster. The crowd boos as Smith clutches his head in pain. But Owyns isn't through. He picks up Smith, holds him up and drops him down with another brainbuster. The crowd boos as Smith lays motionless on the canvas. But Owyns hasn't had enough. He picks up Smith, scoops him up and plants him with The Villain Connection. The crowd boos as the ref starts the count.

Cruz: Here is your winner, JACK OWYNS!

The ref attempts to raise Owyns' arm. But Owyns pulls his arm away from him. He then raises his own arm to boos from the crowd.

Clement: Jack Owyns with a dominating performance over Mike Smith.

Grayson: The attack from behind surely didn't hurt. But still, I have never seen Mike Smith be dominated like that. But good for Jack Owyns, who finally finds himself with a notch in the win column. He can only go up from here.

[FGA Office]

(We cut backstage to see FGA newcomer, Chris Q, walking down the hallway after his debut match earlier in the evening. Some of the production team working backstage nod to him as he passes, but Chris ignores them and continues down the hall. He makes a quick left and turns down a separate hallway, trying to avoid the people. Turning the corner at the other end of the hall is Jacques Mercier, now headed directly towards Chris Q. The two men lock eyes as they continue towards each other. Neither man seems willing to adjust their path as they come face to face for the first time. Still locked in a stare down, both men stand still, waiting for something to happen. Jacques smirks at the newcomer before holding out his hand, still looking Chris dead in his eyes.)

Jacques Mercier: Impressive showing earlier tonight.

(Looking down at Mercier's hand for a second, Chris Q smiles before looking back up into his eyes.)

Chris Q: Oh yeah? So somebody is a fan of my work...

(Chris laughs and puts out his hand. Jacques chuckles as the two men shake hands. Their grips are firm, showing a sign of respect for one another.)

Jacques Mercier: I’ll probably be the best fan you’ll ever have. Welcome to FGA, Q. May I call you Q, Q?

(Jacques releases the man’s hand.)

Chris Q: I don't give a fuck what you call me, man. I'm on my way to get a drink before the big Main Event later. You want to go out and get a drink or ten?

Jacques Mercier: Personally I'm not much of a drinker, but I was actually on my way to the dressing room where I have my own little party favor for the Main Event if you catch my drift. You're more than welcome to join me once you've grabbed a cold one. Chilling with me, you're gonna need a drink or two to keep from hacking up a lung… Or two.

Chris Q: Ahh, man. Don't tell me I found another chiller? Right here in FGA? I've been looking for a hook up since I landed in Pennsylvania. Fuck the bar, I've got a flask in my pocket. Let's get blazed before this Championship match...

Jacques Mercier: Well I guess it's your lucky day my friend. Step into my office.

(Mercier motions for Chris to lead him towards the dressing room as the scene fades out.)

[FGA Office]

(The cameras cut to the backstage where Jack Owyns and Justice Young are standing by near a group of fans that are off to the side. At the sight of Jack Owyns the crowd erupts with a negative response.)

Justice Young: I'm standing here with The Villain Jack Owyns...

(Jack Owyns rips the microphone from Justice hands and pushes him away out of the camera view.)

Jack Owyns: SHUT UP! You know...I've had enough...this

(Jack paused for a minute and pointed with his free hand towards the ground.)

Jack Owyns: This is complete bullshit. Do you not know who I am huh...Do you not know the value that is behind my name huh...I am a legend in this wrestling world. And you...the Frontier Grappling Arts keep sitting here and wasting my talents. I should be the main event, I should be the face of this place...ME! Nobody else but oh no in my debut match you had me in the newcomers match...fucking NEWCOMER are you kidding me? If that wasn't enough of a slap in the face, then you place me at the bottom of the card at Frontier vs FGA shit show.

(Jack looked away and spat off camera.)

Jack Owyns: And look now tonight, what does FGA going and do? They stick me down at the bottom of the card once again. While a bunch of wrestling rooks like Chris Q, Akrista, Alistair Mangold, Shane Williams, and...

(The mention of new blood brought a cheer from ringside, which stopped Jack Owyns.)

Jack Owyns: SHUT UP OUT THERE! None of them possesses the talent that I do. None of them will ever draw in these twerps like I do. I'm Jack FUCKING OWYNS! I should be in the main event tonight, while those rooks should be opening the show...

(The crowd began to cheer as Alistair Mangold stepped into the cameras view. Jack turned away and faced Alistair Mangold.)

Jack Owyns: HEY! SCREW OFF ROOK!

(Jack motioned for him to get lost...

But Alistair had no thoughts about running away. He brought a mic for himself, so it was clear he had some words for the crowd and for Jack Owyns.)

Alistair Mangold: Rook? Calling me a wrestling rookie? Boy, I am a six time heavyweight champion, 11 years veteran, and I have no problem with being in the opening match. I may be a legend and you may consider yourself one, but you should know that when you come to some place new, your history from elsewhere just doesn't count - we all start from nothing. It looks like you, young man, lack something that all the people shoud have and that is respect.

(Mangold came closer to Jack and got in his face.)

Alistair Mangold: Consider The God Among Man your new teacher. 'Cause since you don't know respect, you will have to learn it the hard way.

(Crowd cheered for the new fan favorite as Alistair slowly walked away, while angry Jack Owyns was piercing him with his vicious look.)

Jack Owyns: Learn from you? HAHA...Your joking right? What the fuck are you going to teach me...huh? NOTHING! Nothing at all...where do they find these morons.

(Jack Owyns dropped the microphone as the scene faded out.)

Pat Gordon, Jr vs. Rayzor

"Killing Zone" plays as Rayzor stands in the ring to boos from the crowd.

Cruz: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, already in the ring.... from Toronto, Ontaro, Canada.... weighing in at 185 pounds..... RAYZOR!

(The crowd boos)

'Chariots of Fire' fills the arena, cuing the arrival of Pat Gordon, Jr., who steps through the curtain. He makes his way to the ring, giving out high-fives to any outstretched hands along the way. He does a lap around the ring, still giving out high-fives to any fans who want one, before he climbs inside.

Cruz: And his opponent, from Boston, Massachusetts... weighing in at 242 pounds.... PAT GORDON, JR!

Clement: Pat Gordon, Jr is still suffering from the effects of that Chivalry is Dead Match against Kevin Hardaway from two weeks ago. I'm seriously concerned for his health.

Grayson: Hey, if Gordon wants to go out there and fight with a concussion, then by all means let him. If he's that idiotic to put his health on the line, then so be it. And he's another one that's calling out Ryu Kanata. What is with people calling out that man? Do they not see the scars on his body? Do they not know of his reputation? Or are they so full of themselves that they honestly think that they could inflict pain on him?

PGJR pulls back on the ropes for a couple of last minute stretches before the bell. by Hans Zimmer

The bell sounds as PGJr and Rayzor go to lock up. But Rayzor kicks him in the midsection to boos from the crowd. He then takes PGJr and whips him into the ropes. When PGJr comes back, Rayzor goes for a clothesline. But PGJr ducks and runs into the ropes. When PGJr comes back, he knocks down Rayzor with a flying shoulderblock. The crowd cheers. Rayzor gets back up, but PGJr runs over and knocks him down with a running shoulderblock. The crowd cheers. He then picks up Rayzor and whips him into the ropes. When Rayzor comes back, PGJr knocks him down with a Wicked Lariat to cheers from the crowd. PGJr then picks up Rayzor and whips him hard chest-first into the corner. As Rayzor stumbles back, PGJr grabs him from behind, lifts him up and then plants him with the Sunday Morning Hangover. The crowd cheers as he makes the cover.

Crowd: Here is your winner, PAT GORDON, JR!

PGJr heads into the corner, climbs up onto the middle turnbuckle and raises his arm to cheers from the crowd. After losing his balance for a bit, PGJr quickly grabs a hold of the top rope before stepping back down into the ring.

Clement: Pat Gordon, Jr with a dominating win over Rayzor.

Grayson: Gordon made pretty quick work of Rayzor. However, if I were in Pat Gordon's ear, I'd advice him to cool it with calling out Ryu Kanata. That is not a man that I'd want on my bad side. Hell, I wouldn't want Ryu Kanata anywhere near me.

[FGA Office]

[ EARLIER TODAY ]

(Ryan is sitting Indian style in the middle of the dimly lit ring. His head is bowed down and his hair is covering his face. The camera zoomed in a little bit more as its focuses on his hair-covered face.)

Ryan Kidd: Tonight… Tonight I am going into the most dangerous match of my life… As I’ve been talking about all week, tonight I am facing my arch-nemesis Ryu Kanata in the middle of this ring in a No Holds Barred match…

(He scooped his hair up to uncover his face. Though we can already see his face, his head still remained bowed down as he refused to make eye contact with the camera.)

Ryan Kidd: I might be insane in taking this match… I might be signing my own death certificate in taking this match… But as Ryu Kanata said, I need to embrace my dark side in order to beat him… And that’s what I’m going to do…

(He slowly lifted his face up to look at the camera so fiercely. We can see the fire burning in his eyes as the intensity flared it up more. The only time we’ve seen him with this kind of focus so far is during the New Frontiers Cup. Truly Ryan is determined to get the job done tonight.)

Ryan Kidd: I will be cold-blooded in that ring tonight… I will disregard everything that everyone thinks I am and show them a different side of me… I will go toe to toe with you, Ryu. I will make you bleed and show you that I can be as violent as violent can be. I don’t care anymore, Ryu. I am in this match to take you out and take you out I will. I will do whatever the fuck it takes to get it done, Ryu.

(He smirked.)

Ryan Kidd: I don’t care if we both die in that ring tonight, Ryu. If I’m going down, I’m taking you with me. See you then.

(The camera slowly zoomed out as the scene fades to black.)

Ryan Kidd vs. Ryu Kanata

Cruz: The following contest is a No Holds Barred Match. It is scheduled for one fall with no disqualification and no count outs........

Deshi Basara (He Rises)' by Hans Zimmer blares through the arena. As the first set of chants subsides, Ryu Kanata steps out from behind the curtain, and pauses, his arms in a crucifix pose, head bowed. He waits there for a moment before charging headlong towards the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope, and climbing the opposite turnbuckle, where he repeats the crucifix pose before dropping back to the ring and awaiting the bell...

"LADIES & GENTLEMEN...
HAILING FROM KORIYAMA, JAPAN...
THE BROKEN GLASS & BARBED WIRE PHOENIX....
...RYU KANATA!!!!"

Clement: Ryu Kanata looks determined to leave his mark, both figuratively and literally, on Ryan Kidd tonight.

Grayson: That man has evil intentions on his mind. Do you see those scars that decorate his body? If that happened to him, what in the world do you think is going to happen to Ryan Kidd?

The intro to “Dark Horse“ emanated from the PA system. The lights began to flicker as the song kicks in. Ryan Kidd comes out from the back. He began hardcore dancing on the floor spinning around like there's no tomorrow before raising his arms up in the air to the delight of the fans. He walks down to the ring high fiving the fans by the security railings. He goes around the ring high fiving more fans ringside before stopping in front of a steel steps.

Cruz: And his opponent, from Long Beach, California.... weighing in at 212 pounds.... RYAN KIDD!

He climbs the steps and stops at the ring apron before looking around the venue. He climbs the top rope from the ring apron and raises both his arms up before somersaulting down to the ring. He walks to the opposite side of the ring and raises his arms again before walking to his corner while his music fades.

Clement: Ryan Kidd doesn't look nervous at all. He's pumped and ready for tonight's match?

Grayson: That's all for show. That man is nervous on the inside. He bit off way more than he could chew. His eyes were much bigger than his stomach. The fans know it. You know it. I know it. His handler's know it. And deep down, Ryan Kidd knows that he screwed up big time. The checks that Kidd wrote his with mouth won't be the only things bouncing tonight. Ryu Kanata is going to look to bounce his head off any blunt object here.

The bell sounds as both men rush to the center of the ring. Ryu goes for a clothesline. But Kidd ducks. When Ryu turns around, Kidd unleashes a series of stiff kicks to the right and left leg. He quickly follows up with a step-up enzuguiri, knocking Ryu down. Kidd turns him over and makes the cover.

Grayson: Look at him! He's trying to end this match already! He's so scared of Ryu that he's trying to end this match as quickly as possible.

Clement: He is not!

After picking Ryu up, Kidd nails him with a right hand. Ryu responds with a punch of his own. Kidd then comes right back with another right hand. Ryu responds with one of his own. The crowd cheers as both men continue with their flurry of punches to the face. But Ryu soon gains advantage, nailing Kidd in the midsection with a knee strike. The crowd boos. While Kidd is doubled over, Ryu grabs him by the hair, runs into the corner and goes to slam his head in the top turnbuckle. But Kidd places his foot on the middle turnbuckle, elbows Ryu in the midsection and follows up by slamming his head into the top turnbuckle. The crowd cheers.

Kidd turns Ryu around and unleashes a series of knife-edge chops that echo throughout the building. He then takes Ryu and tries to whip him into the opposite corner. But Ryu reverses, whipping Kidd across the ring. As Ryu follows Kidd into the corner, Kidd runs up to the top turnbuckle and attempts to deliver the Fall From Grace. But Ryu has it well scouted, shoving Kidd off the top turnbuckle and sending him crashing against the guard rail. The crowd boos as Kidd bounces chest-first off the barricade and falls to the floor.

Clement: My God did you hear that?

Grayson: I saw it. Hell, I can feel it, and I wasn't the one crashing into the barricade.

Ryu steps through the ropes and waits impatiently for Kidd to get up, waving his arm up and down. After Kidd slowly turns over and gets up to his feet, Ryu runs across the apron, leaps off and connects with the Busaiku Knee Strike, knocking Kidd against the barricade. The crowd boos as Kidd bounces back-first off the barricade and falls face-first to the floor.

Clement: And Kidd goes flying into the barricade again!

Grayson: Did you see how far that momentum knocked him back?

Ryu gets up, goes over and peels back the mat, exposing the concrete floor. The crowd boos, knowing full well that Ryu has evil intentions in mind. He heads over to Kidd, picks him up and brings him over the exposed floor. After bending Kidd over, Ryu tries to lift him up for a piledriver. But Kidd reverses into a back body drop, sending Ryu back-first onto the exposed concrete floor. The crowd cheers.

Clement: Ryu's aggressiveness came back to bite him on that one?

Grayson: You think that's going to slow him down? The man's body is covered in scars. Getting slammed onto concrete isn't going to hurt him that much.

Kidd collapses against the side of the ring while Ryu arches his back in pain. After Kidd regains his senses, he waits for Ryu to get back up. Once Ryu gets up and turns around, Kidd charges at him and takes him down with the Mosh N Roll, taking Ryu down on the exposed concrete. The crowd cheers as Ryu clutches the back of his head in pain. After picking him up and rolling him back into the ring, Kidd rolls himself back in and makes the cover.

Grayson: I have to question Kidd's thought process. What in the world made him think this was a good idea?

Clement: The young man is not only trying to prove himself, but he's also trying to get rid of a thorn in his side. Kanata has repeatedly threatened him. And confronting him head on in a match like this is the only way to get rid of Ryu.

Grayson: And what makes you think that if, by some miracle Kidd wins, that Ryu will just stop?

As Kidd picks up Ryu, Ryu shoves him away. Kidd comes back over to him, but Ryu rakes him across the eyes to boos from the crowd. He then quickly takes Kidd and rakes his eyes along the top rope. Kidd then stumbles into the corner holding his eyes in pain. Ryu then heads over, turns him around and unleashes a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. After standing up, Ryu unleashes a flurry of stiff forearm strikes to the face. Each strike sends Kidd slumping down into the corner. Ryu then reaches down with his foot, choking Kidd while pulling down on the top rope for leverage. The ref wants to give him a five count. But he can't because there's no disqualification. So he's forced to helplessly watch Kidd get choked. The crowd boos as the crowd sees Kidd flailing his arms around helplessly. After about 10 seconds, Ryu finally lets go. He heads out towards the center of the ring, only to turn around, charge into the corner and nail Ryu with a running knee strike to the face. The crowd boos as Kidd looks dazed and confused. Ryu quickly steps through the ropes, heads over to Manny Cruz and shoves him out of his seat. Ryu scoops up the chair, folds it up and heads back towards the ring.

Clement: Ryu Kanata has a chair! What do you think he's going to do with it?

Grayson: Hmm, probably fold it up, sit Ryan Kidd down in it and make sure he's comfortable. What do you think he's going to do with that chair!?

After sliding back in, Ryu takes the chair, heads into the corner and leans it up against Kidd's face. Ryu then heads back towards the center of the ring, only to turn around, charge into the corner and nail Kidd in the face with a bakatare sliding kick to the chair. The crowd boos as Kidd sits motionless in the corner. Ryu then goes over, drags Kidd away from the corner and makes the cover.

Grayson: Just stay down, Kidd.

Clement: Out of the question. Ryan Kidd is going to keep fighting. There's no quit in him.

Grayson: Oh well, it's his funeral then.....

Frustrated, Ryu mounts himself on top of Kidd and nails him with “12-to-6” elbow strikes to the face, busting Kidd's nose open to boos from the crowd. Ryu then stands up over the nearly motionless Kidd. He reaches down, wipes the blood from off his elbow and wipes it across both of his cheeks. The crowd boos.

Ryu then reaches down, grabs Kidd by the hair and yanks him up to his feet. He proceeds to deliver alternating knee strikes to the face. While Kidd is dazed, Ryu hooks his arms, hoists him up and then plants him with a double underhook suplex. The crowd boos as he turns over and makes the cover.

Kidd gets his shoulder up to cheers from the crowd. Ryu furrows his brow in anger.

Clement: Ryan Kidd's nose is bleeding profusely from thoses downward elbows and those knee strikes. It wouldn't surprise me if it was broken.

Grayson: Like I said, he should have just stayed down. But no, he wanted to show how much "heart" he had. He wanted to "prove" himself. Well the only thing he's proven is how much of an idiot he is.

Ryu picks up Kidd, lifts him up and throws him down with a front suplex. Kidd slowly gets up on his knees, clutching his midsection in pain. Once Ryu realizes Kidd is in the perfect position for a Shining Wizard, he runs into the ropes. But when he comes back, Kidd gets up to his feet and knocks him down with a dropsault. The crowd cheers.

Clement: Dropkick out of nowhere by Kidd!

Grayson: But can he build of it?

Kidd tries to get back up to his feet. But Ryu is up to his feet first. He runs across the ring and nails Kidd with a punt kick to the head, sending him rolling underneath the bottom rope and out to the apron. Ryu then reaches through the ropes and pulls Kidd up to his feet. Ryu goes for a shoulder thrust to the ropes. But Kidd counters with a knee strike to the head. The crowd cheers. After pulling Ryu through the ropes, Kidd applies a front facelock, lifts him up and plants him with an implant DDT on the apron. The crowd cheers. While Ryu is still face down on the apron, Kidd reaches underneath the ring and pulls out another chair to boos from the crowd. He then gets up and pulls down Ryu from off the apron. After sliding into the ring with the chair. Kidd crouches down and waits for Ryu to get up. As Ryu pulls himself up using the edge of the aporn, Kidd runs into the ropes. When he comes back, Kidd charges over and nails Ryu with a suicide dive through the ropes using the steel chair. The crowd cheers as Ryu goes down.

Crowd: RYAN KIDD! RYAN KIDD! RYAN KIDD! RYAN KIDD!

Clement: Kidd just shot through those ropes like a missing, drilling Ryu in the face with the steel chair.

Grayson: And now Ryu's forehead is busted open. Not that he minds....

After Kidd gets up, he picks up Ryu and brings him further down ringside. After shoving Ryu into the barricade, Kidd grabs cable wire, wraps it around Ryu's neck and chokes him with it to cheers from the crowd. Ryu tries to pull the wire from around his neck, but its to no avail.

Grayson: I didn't think Kidd has this time of viciousness in him?

Clement: Kidd said that he didn't care if he had to go to that dark place inside him. He needed to prove himself and get Ryu off his back for good.

After Kidd finally lets go, Ryu drops to his knees. He can be heard coughing loudly in between gasps for air. Kidd makes his way around ringside, waiting patiently for Ryu to get back up to his feet. As Ryu pulls himself up using the edge of the barricade, Kidd begins to run forward. As Ryu turns around, Kidd nails him with a yakuza kick, sending him over the barricade and into the crowd. The crowd cheers.

Kidd then climbs back over the barricade and rolls into the ring. He watches out at the crowd, waiting for Ryu to get back up. As Ryu pulls himself up using the apron, Kidd climbs up to the top turnbuckle.......

Grayson: He's not going to........? No way. No way........

Clement: Ryu gets up and turns around....... Kidd leaps off..... and he CONNECTS! RYAN KIDD JUST DOVE OFF THE TOP TURNBUCKLE AND INTO THE CROWD WITH A FLYING SENTON ONTO RYU!

Crowd: RYAN KIDD! RYAN KIDD! RYAN KIDD! RYAN KIDD!

Kidd is the first to get to his feet, causing the crowd to cheer and applaud. Kidd then reaches down, picks up Ryu and dumps him over the barricade and back over to ringside. After climbing over the barricade, Kidd picks up Ryu and rolls him back into the ring. Kidd then reaches under the the ring and pulls out a table to cheers from the crowd.

After sliding the table into the ring, Kidd rolls himself back in. Kidd goes over, picks up Ryu, places him in position and delivers a flatliner onto a steel chair. The crowd cheers as Ryu's off the chair and he rolls over onto his back. Kidd then gets up and points to the top turnbuckle. The crowd cheers. Satisfied with the crowd's reaction, Kidd goes over, picks up the table and brings it over towards the corner. After setting up the table, Kidd picks up Ryu and lifts him up onto the table. Once he's got Ryu and the table in position, Kidd turns and begins to climb the turnbuckles. But once he reaches the top, Ryu gets up, goes over and yanks down one of Kidd's legs. Kidd then loses his balance, slipping down and winding up crotched on the top turnbuckle to boos from the crowd.

Clement: And Ryan Kidd slips down hard.

Grayson: He wasted too much time! he wasted too much time playing up to the fans. And now he's in the worst position possible....

After Ryu climbs up onto the top turnbuckle, he sits down, grabs Kidd from behind and delivers a spider suplex off the top rope and throw the table. The crowd boos as Kidd clutches the back of his neck in pain. As Kidd lays in between the debris, Ryu sits up, stands up on the top turnbuckle and connects with a moonsault completing the Phoenix Combo 2K12. He hooks the leg.

Clement: Kidd got his shoulder up! Ryan Kidd got his shoulder up!

Grayson: How did he do it!?

The crowd cheers after Kidd gets his shoulder up. Ryu's eyes widen as he looks up at the ref in shock.

Ryu then snaps out of it, heading to the outside. He reaches underneath the ring and pulls out a blue sack filled with something. He tosses it into the ring. He then pulls out a steel chain to boos from the crowd. After rolling back into the ring, Ryu goes over and goes to choke Kidd with it. But Kidd pops up to his feet and and knocks him down with the White Light. The crowd cheers. Kidd then picks up the steel chain, wraps a portion of both ends of it around his fists and stretches out the rest. As Ryu gets up and turns around, Kidd runs over and clotheslines him across the throat using the chain. The crowd cheers. Ryu gets up and turns around, but Kidd runs over and checks him across the throat again with the chain. The crowd cheers. Kidd then unwraps the chain from around one of his fists and repeatedly whips Ryu with the chain, busting open portions of his back to cheers from the crowd. Kidd then tosses the chain to the outside before picking up the bag. After pulling back on on the drawstring, Kidd peeks into the bag. He then looks up and smiles as he dumps the contects of the bag out, pouring thumbtacks onto the canvas to cheers from the crowd.

Clement: Oh no....

Grayson: This is not good, Kevin. This is not good.

Kidd then looks over at Ryu, who is struggling to get up to his feet. Kidd then turns and nails him with a spinning back kick, doubling Ryu over. He then shouts out "ENGINE 45!" before running into the ropes. The crowd cheers.

Grayson: Is he? No....

Clement: He's about to send Ryu face-first into those thumbtacks!

When Kidd comes back, he leaps up and goes for the Engine 45. But Ryu plays possum, moving out of the way, grabbing Kidd from behind, hoisting him up and then planting him head and back-first onto those thumbtacks with the Final Phoenix Kai. The crowd boos as the ref starts the count.

Cruz: Here is your winner, RYU KANATA

'Deshi Basara (He Rises)' blares throughout the building to boos from the crowd.

Clement: Ryu Kanata gets the hard fought win over Ryan Kidd. Ryan put up one hell of a fight. He will certainly never be the same after this.

Grayson: Ryu said as much earlier this week. Even if he lost, he wins. The good natured, likeable young upstart had his innocense taken away from him and was corrupted by Ryu in this match. This is exactly what Ryu wanted and he got it. You can give Ryan Kidd all the credit in the world. But I stand by my point from earlier. He was an idiot to even request this match. Ryu didn't challenge him to this match. Kidd is the one that insisted on this match. And now loook at him. He's bloodied. He's got tacks stuck in his back. He's clearly hurt. And for what? Absolutely nothing.

Ryu isn't done with Kidd, though. He rolls to the outside, picks up a steel chair and slides it into the ring. After rolling back into the ring, Ryu heads over, lifts up Kidd's head and places it in between the back of the chair and the seat of the chair.

Clement: What is this? Ryu Kanata is about to snap Ryan Kidd's neck in two!!! Someone has to stop this.

The ref tries to stop Ryu, but Ryu just knocks him down with a headbutt.

Clement: C'mon, Ryu, stop! Enough's enough! You got your win! You proved your point!

Grayson: Ho hum. Kidd is getting exactly what he deserved. I have no sympathy for someone who stands on a railroad track and waits for a train to run him over. That's exactly what Kidd did tonight and now, he's about to get flattened!

As Ryu heads over into the corner, Pat Gordon, Jr can be seen charging down to the ring. As Ryu turns and hoists himself up onto the second turnbuckle, Gordon goes over and covers up Kidd, stopping Ryu from attacking him.

Clement: Thank God for Pat Gordon, Jr. This night could have ended even worse for Ryan Kidd had he not come out here.

Angered, Ryu hops down from off the turnbuckles as Gordon gets up to his feet. The two men stare each other down before Ryu takes a few steps back. The crowd boos at Ryu's decision to retreat. As Ryu heads to the outside, Gordon turns to check on Kidd. But while Gordon's back is turned, Ryu slides back in, gets up, grabs Gordon from behind, runs into the corner and throws him shoulder-first into the ring post. The crowd boos as Gordon slips through the ropes and falls to the outside.

Clement: That damn Ryu!

Grayson: That's what happens when you turn your back to people. ESPECIALLY someone as dangerous as Ryu Kanata. What was Pat Gordon thinking? Oh that's right, he WASN'T!'

The crowd continues to boo as Ryu steps through the ropes, dives off the apron and connects with a flying stomp to Gordon's face. Gordon immediately hold his head in pain. Ryu then reaches down, picks up Gordon, runs and slams his head against the ring post. Gordon stumbles around ringside before falling to the floor. The crowd boos as Ryu continues his assault on Gordon, stomping away at him to boos from the crowd. He then picks up Gordon and brings him over to the steel steps. After bringing Gordon up onto the steps, Ryu hoists him up..............

Grayson: He's going for it.

Clement: Don't do it......don't............ NONE SHALL RISE onto the steps! Dammit!

The crowd boos as Gordon lays motionless against the steps. The crowd begins to chant against Ryu, but Ryu seems unfazed.

Crowd: RYU SUCKS! RYU SUCKS! RYU SUCKS!

Ryu looks at the motionless Gordon next to him. He then looks into the ring and sees Kidd still down and out. A small smirk appears as the crowd continues to boo....

[ FADE OUT ]

[FGA Office]

(The FGA Cameras are backstage with Justice Young on standby)

Justice Young:"Ladies and gentlemen, here with me at this time is your 2012 New Frontiers Cup winner, and number one contender to the FGA Heavyweight Championship, A.J. Fairchild! A.J. you are just moments away from heading out there for what you describe as the biggest match of your career. A.J., how do you feel about your chances of winning tonight?"

A.J. Fairchild:"Chances, odds, and probabilities… You know what all these words have in common Justice?"

(Justice shakes his head not knowing the answer)

A.J. Fairchild:"Yeah I knew you wouldn't, but let me break it down for you, the people watching this, and especially you Chandler. Those words indicate uncertainty, they talk about possibilities. Tonight…tonight the only thing I have in my heart is certainty. You see I’ve taken you apart in my mind Chandler, I know what makes you tick. You can hide behind your dissatisfied lover, you can hide behind your man servant, you can hide behind your Harvard education, but you can’t hide behind the FGA Heavyweight Championship. You see Chandler, that belt doesn't help you get lost in the shuffle of the FGA roster. It doesn't help you blend in as just one of the guys in the back, no that belt makes you a target. That belt makes you a marked man. Therein lies the truth Chandler, and the truth is that you’re afraid. Afraid of me, afraid of Ben Hanson, afraid of what that FGA Heavyweight Championship belt represents… Because you know that by holding that belt, that indicates that the holder is the best in all of Frontier Grappling Arts. But we all know the truth; we all know that I am the best! I work the hardest, train the hardest, fight the hardest, and I don’t take shortcuts. So tonight you’ll have to raise yourself to Fairchild like standards if you want even the tiniest hope of leaving Pennsylvania with that belt. I don’t think you can do it, these people don’t think you can do it, but most of all, you don’t think you can do it…"

Justice Young:"Thank you A.J. for your time and good luck in your match."

(A.J. nods and walks away leaving Justice)

Justice Young:"Well that’s all the time we have, it’s been a great one year anniversary for Frontier Grappling Arts, and to put the finishing touches on a great evening for the company, the main event of the evening… A.J. Fairchild looks to dethrone FGA Heavyweight Champion Chandler Scott. Will the Pissed Off Teenager, become the Pissed Off Champion? Or will Harvard’s Finest retain his gold? Find out next!"
