8-PERSON TAG TEAM MATCH
Lowri Moss, Fujiko Mine, Julian Tijerina, Antoinette
vs.
Seth Iser, Nina Stokes, Ace Voltage, Mara Jade Miller
Lowri Moss puts her hand up and volunteers to start things off for her side. Fujiko Mine, Julian Tijerina and Antoinette don't object and allow the World Champion to set the pace for their side. Across the ring, Seth Iser can be seen staring daggers over at the World Champion. Iser and Stokes continue to stare across the ring. The moment Iser motions forward towards Moss, Stokes reaches out and puts her arm in front of his chest, stopping him in his tracks.
Kris Cruise: Uh oh.
Geoff Penzer: Remember what she said last show? She thinks Lowri is hiding in plain sight. This could be her way of pushing the issuing and forcing a confrontation with the World Champion.
Stokes doesn't utter a single word to Iser. In fact, she doesn't even look in his direction or in the direction of her other two teammates. Her actions say everything that needs to be said.
Kris Cruise: I think if anyone from that side is going to start things off against Lowri, it’s The Kodiak.
Geoff Penzer: I wouldn’t exactly press my luck and try to object if I were them.
Iser slowly looks down at Stokes. He then huffs before turning and stepping out to the apron.
Kris Cruise: Seth’s stepping aside! We’re going to get Lowri and Nina to kick off this main event!
Geoff Penzer: This is going to be good.
The Kodiak can be seen mouthing something across the ring at Moss. The World Champion doesn't back down and motions for Stokes to come at her. The crowd s at a fever pitch as Moss and Stokes slowly circle the ring.
Kris Cruise: Lowri wants it! She’s not backing down!
Both grapplers continue to circle the ring... until Ace Voltage reaches over the top rope and slaps Stokes on the back of the shoulder, tagging himself in.
Geoff Penzer: Hey!
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Stokes turns behind her and gives him a look. As with Stokes' interaction with Iser, Voltage doesn't even look in Stokes' direction. Instead, he repeatedly thumbs behind him, motioning for Stokes to exit the ring. Voltage continues to look out across the ring while Stokes steps to Voltage. The Kodiak stares daggers at him from the side. But Voltage doesn't acknowledge her at all.
Kris Cruise: Ace is still upset about falling to Lowri at Grapland. He wants another crack at the champion!
Geoff Penzer: Well, if Ace wins the Rumble and if Lowri retained at Only the Strong Survive, then he can have his chance against Lowri on an even bigger stage than this. Right now, he want Moss and Stokes!
Stokes continues to stare at Voltage with narrowed eyes until the ref comes over and tells her that a tag was made, so she has to step out to the apron. Stokes slowly turns her attention to the official before turning back to Voltage. She looks the former Pride Champion up and down before ultimately stepping out to the apron.
Kris Cruise: If looks could kill…
Geoff Penzer: Ace would be six feet deep.
Kris Cruise: Voltage is really trying his luck here. He’s putting his own desires over the good of the team.
Voltage can be seen pointing across the ring at Moss. Like with Stokes before him, Moss motions for him to bring it. Instead of circling the ring and trying to size up Moss, Voltage makes a beeline at the champion. The crowd cheers when Voltage runs right into a japanese arm drag. Voltage gets back up, turns around and finds himself on the receiving end of another japanese arm drag. Voltage gets back up and finds himself on the wrong end of a trio of arm wrenches. Moss then reaches out and makes the tag out to Fujiko.
The crowd cheers as the Apex Goddess slingshots into the ring, takes hold of Voltage's arm and wrenches it. She then reaches over and tags out to Tijerina. The crowd cheers when Tijerina hops in through the ropes and wrenches Voltage's arm several times. The Pride Champion then reaches over and makes the tag out to the Legacy Champion. The cheers continue as Antoinette springboards to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and comes down across Voltage's outstretched arm with a diving double ax handle. She then wrenches Voltage's arm until he reaches over and rakes her across the eyes.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOO"
Kris Cruise: Ace had to do something desperate there.
Geoff Penzer: All four members of the other team were having their way working over his arm.
Voltage takes Antoinette and whips her into the far ropes. Antoinette returns off the rebound and ducks a back elbow before continuing to run the ropes. When Antoinette returns, she ducks a lariat before continuing to run the ropes. Antoinette returns off the rebound and hurdles over a back body drop attempt before continuing to run the ropes. When she returns, she brings Voltage down with a running hurricanrana. Voltage's momentum sends him rolling over towards his team's corner. He quickly reaches up and tags Iser in. Wrestling's Greatest Mind rushes over towards Antoinette and throws out a lariat. He whiffs when Antoinette ducks and hits the ropes. Antoinette returns off the rebound and knocks him back with a dropkick. Another dropkick knocks Iser back. Antoinette then hits the ropes, returns and executes a running hurricanrana. The crowd cheers as Iser staggers forward before falling across the middle rope. This then signals Tijerina to springboard to the top turnbuckle, walk partially across the top rope before hitting a leg drop across the back of the head! Iser drops to the mat before Antoinette makes the over.

Iser gets his foot on the bottom rope.
Kris Cruise: Ant gets the two count. Lowri’s side is showing great teamwork here.
Geoff Penzer: Yeah, they’re acting as exactly that; a team. No one is putting their needs over the other.
Antoinette picks up Iser, heads into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle before tagging Moss back in. Moss takes Iser, slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle and tags Tijerina back in. Tijerina slingshots into the ring, takes Iser and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle before tagging Fujiko back in. The Apex Goddess hops in through the ropes, takes Iser and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle while the crowd counts along.

Fujiko tags back out to Moss. The cheers continue as the World Champion gets in and lights up Iser with the Scarlet Barrage (Alternating rapid-fire knife edge chops and forearms to a cornered opponent)! Fujiko gets tagged back in. The Apex Goddess slingshots back in, hops up onto the middle ropes and starts to punch Iser while the crowd counts along.

The crowd boos when Iser reaches up, grabs Fujiko and shoves her down out of the corner. The boos grow louder when Iser catches Antoinette with a right back elbow, catches Moss with a left back elbow, then turns around and socks Tijerina with a hard right hand.
Geoff Penzer: Iser’s fighting like hell to get out of that corner.
Iser comes barreling out of the corner towards Fujiko, but the Apex Goddess knocks him back with a handstand calf kick. Fujiko returns to her feet before a basement front dropkick brings Iser down to a knee. From there, Iser gets sent face-first to the mat with a headscissors facebuster! She makes the cover.

Iser kicks out.
Fujiko takes Iser and sends him for the ride. Instead of returning off the rebound, Iser hooks both arms around the top rope. Fujiko sees this, so she runs over to attack, only for Iser to duck and dump her over the top. Luckily for Fujiko, she lands safely on the apron. Iser then turns around before a rope assisted gamengiri knocks him back. Mara Jade Miller rushes over to attack, but Fujiko knocks them back with a back elbow to the face. The Apex Goddess turns her attention back to Iser and goes for a springboard maneuver. When Fujiko is mid jump, Iser rushes forward and connects with a running big boot, sending Fujiko to the floor!
Geoff Penzer: Seth wit the anti-air!
Kris Cruise: That hard fall to the floor looked like it shook Fujiko up.
Miller and Voltage are quick to jump down to the floor and put the boots to Fujiko.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Miller picks up Fujiko and rams her hard back-first against the side of the ring. They then latch onto Fujiko's throat, lift her up and throw her down hard with a chokeslam to the apron! Voltage then rolls Fujiko off the apron and lifts her up across his back before bringing her down with a Samoan Drop to the floor! Miller yanks up Fujiko and rolls her back inside. Iser reaches down, pulls Fujiko back to her feet and lifts her up before dropping her throat-first across the top rope with a Stun Gun. Fujiko stumbles back before turning and dropping to all fours. Despite the pain she's in, she tries her best to hurry and crawl over to her corner to tag out. But Iser is just quick enough to dive over and grab her by the ankle. Once he gets back to his feet, he drags Fujiko away from the corner before dropping an elbow across the back. The boos continue as Iser gets to his feet and delivers a second elbow drop. Wrestling's Greatest Mind then makes his way over and tags in Miller.
Miller gets in, marches over towards Fujiko and puts the boots to her. They then reaches down, yank Fujiko up off the apron and send her right back down to the mat with a headbutt. The Kaiju of Seattle reaches down, yanks Fujiko back to her feet before dropping her with a European Uppercut. The Apex Goddess gets snatched off the canvas before another European Uppercut sends her stumbling backwards into the corner. Miller then marches forward and nails Fujiko with repeated elbow smashes. They then apply a foot choke while pulling down on the top rope. The ref is quick to give them to the count of five to break the choke.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIV-
Miller breaks the hold. The ref admonishes them about pushing their luck with the late break, but they pay him no mind. They then takes Fujiko and deliver an irish whip before following her into the corner. Instead of crashing into the corner, Fujiko runs up the turnbuckles, backflips off the top over Miller and lands on her feet before taking off into the far ropes. When Fujiko returns off the rebound, Miller runs over and tries to beat her to the punch with a pump kick. The crowd cheers when Fujiko catches their foot in time. Fujiko then knocks them off their feet with a spinning back heel trip before following up with a standing Shooting Star Press.

Miller shoves Fujiko off of them.
Kris Cruise: Nice counter there by Fujiko for a two count.
Fujiko lands on her feet after the shove and takes off into the ropes. When they get back to their feet, Fujiko brings them down with a running hurricanrana. NO! Miller blocks, leaving Fujiko hanging upside down. After they lift Fujiko fully up onto their shoulders, Fujiko counters with punches across the top of the head. She then spins herself around on their shoulder before flipping back and spiking them with a poison rana!
Miller's momentum sends them rolling backwards onto their knees. From there, Fujiko goes over, grabs their arm and holds it out. Upon hearing the cheers from the crowd, Fujiko nails them with Sealed With a Kick (grounded arm pulled roundhouse kick)!
The crowd cheers when Fujiko nails them again with the kick...
"YES!"
... and again!
"YES!"

"YES!"

"YES!"

The crowd gasps when Miler uses their free arm to catch Fujiko's leg. Miller then returns to their feet before grabbing a hold of Fujiko by the throat. They lift Fujiko up for a chokeslam, but on the way up, Fujiko catches them with a back elbow to the side of the head. Fujiko then turns and hits the ropes. When Fujiko returns, the crowd boos when Miller flattens her with a pump kick to the face.
Kris Cruise: They nearly knocked Fujiko’s head off with that pump kick!
Geoff Penzer: Fujiko has to find a way to make a tag.
Miller heads over and tags out to Voltage. Voltage immediately gets in and circles Fujiko before delivering multiple stomps to the limbs. He reaches down, grabs Fujiko by the arm and yanks her back to her feet before throwing out a short-arm lariat. He whiffs when Fujiko ducks and heads towards the ropes. When Voltage turns around, the crowd cheers when she drops him to a knee with a handspring enzuigiri!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko’s got her opening!
The Apex Goddess gets back to her feet, turns and heads towards her corner. But she doesn't make it far as Voltage quickly gets up from a knee, takes control of her back and brings her down with a pair of rolling German Suplexes! Voltage sets up for a third when Fujiko reverses into a wheelbarrow victory roll.

Voltage kicks out.
Once both grapplers get back to their feet, Fujiko runs at Voltage and tries to hurdle over him towards her corner, but he catches her in mid air, runs over into his corner and rams her back-first into the turnbuckles. He hits a shoulder thrust and keeps Fujiko held in place while Iser tags himself in. With Fujiko trapped, Iser reaches over Voltage and peppers Fujiko with jabs before applying a foot choke.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Iser breaks the choke while Voltage steps back out to the apron. He then lights up Fujiko's chest with knife edge chops before a knee strike doubles Fujiko over. The Apex Goddess is then pulled out of the corner before Iser brings her down with a hangman's neckbreaker. He makes the cover.

Iser sets up for a vertical suplex, but Fujiko slips down from behind. The crowd cheers when she brings Iser down with a Lumbar Check!
Kris Cruise: Eriana’s Vow!
Geoff Penzer: She’s got Iser down!
Iser arches his back in pain while Fujiko pulls herself over towards her corner. Moss, Tijerina and Antoinette all have their arms out for the tag. Back across the ring, Voltage is screaming at Iser to tag him back in.
Kris Cruise: It’s anyone’s match now!
Geoff Penzer: Who will be the first to make a tag to the fresh partner!?
The crowd erupts with cheers when Fujiko dives over and tags Moss back in.
Kris Cruise: Lowri in! She’s back in!
Iser crawls over towards his corner. Instead of tagging out to Voltage, he tags out to Stokes.
Geoff Penzer: Here comes The Kodiak!
Stokes steps in through the ropes before Voltage immediately tags himself back in.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Kris Cruise: Oh come on, Ace!
Geoff Penzer: What is he thinking?
Voltage hops in through the ropes, runs over towards Moss and whiffs on a running lariat when Moss. When Voltage turns around...
*CRACK!*
Moss snaps his head back with a bicycle knee! She then takes Voltage, whips him into the corner, runs over and delivers Just for Kicks (Running big boot to a cornered opponent followed by a running Facewash)! Moss pulls Voltage back to his feet, climbs up to the middle ropes and brings him down with a Tornado DDT! NO! Voltage pushes off Moss mid turn. As soon as the World Champ lands on her feet, Voltage runs over and throws out another lariat. He misses again when Moss ducks, floats over across his back and brings him down with a Crucifix Driver!

Voltage gets the shoulder up.
Voltage gets sent for the ride. When the former Pride Champ returns, Moss delivers an inverted atomic drop before bringing him down with an STO. She then drags him into position before heading towards the corner.
Kris Cruise: Lowri looks like she wants to take flight!
Moss scales the turnbuckles. Once she reaches the top, she flips back for a moonsault! Voltage rolls out of the way, but Moss is able to land on her feet. Before Moss can rush back over to Voltage, the crowd erupts with boos when she gets blindsided by a pump kick from Miller!
Kris Cruise: Good God, what a kick!
Geoff Penzer: They just blasted the World Champion with one hell of a boot to the face!
Miller picks up Moss and pulls her into a front facelock. Voltage makes his way over to Miller and grabs Moss from the left hand side. They set up for a double vertical suplex until Fujiko rushes in, pulls Moss down and then grabs a hold of Voltage. Both sides try to muscle the other up until Iser heads in and grabs Fujiko from the left hand side. Once Tijerina gets in and grabs Iser from the right hand side, the crowd cheers when Tijerina/Fujiko/Moss are able to bring Iser/Voltage/Miller down with a triple suplex! The fan favorites are met with applause.
Kris Cruise: I don’t think I’ve ever seen something like that before.
Geoff Penzer: A tandem suplex, sure. But a triple suplex? These two teams are pulling everything out.
Stokes has seen enough of this. The Kodiak steps into the ring and rushes towards the new Pride Champion.
Kris Cruise: Look out!
Tijerina gets to his feet until he gets grabbed from behind and rammed sternum-first into the corner. The crowd boos when Stokes rolls back before bringing Tijerina down with a release version of the Chaos Theory (Front Turnbuckle Smash into Back Roll German Suplex)!
Geoff Penzer: Stokes just left him folded up on the mat!
Stokes takes Fujiko, delivers an irish whip, follows her into the corner and crushes her with running double knees! After Fujiko gets whipped into the far corner, The Kodiak charges across the ring, nails Fujiko with another pair of double knees before bringing her down with a fireman's carry gutbuster.
Stokes' eyes widen when she sees Moss using the ropes to pull herself up. The crowd murmurs as The Kodiak starts to stalk Moss from behind.
Kris Cruise: Stokes has been salivating all night for this!
Geoff Penzer: She’s been waiting for this for a long, long while! The Kodiak is about to pounce on the World Champ!
Before Stokes can strike, Antoinette leaps onto Stokes' back. Stokes then reaches up, grabs Antoinette by the hair and throws her down in front of her. The boos continue as Stokes reaches down, grabs Antoinette's wrists and holds her arms up before delivering repeated stomps to the face, neck and chest.
Kris Cruise: Stokes is stomping a mudhole in Antoinette!
Antoinette is quickly yanked back to her feet before Stokes hooks her arms and unloads with arm-trapped headbutts. Stokes then switches her grip on Antoinette before bringing her down with a wrist clutch Exploder Suplex. Stokes gets back to her feet and ducks a clothesline attempt from Tijerina before throwing him down on the back of his neck again. This time, with a Half Nelson Suplex.
Kris Cruise: Stokes is hitting everything that moves!
Geoff Penzer: She wanted to start this match off! She was denied again by Ace Voltage when he mad the blind tag! Stokes was tired of waiting. She has been poked and prodded. Now, The Kodiak is unleashed!
Stokes turns and lines Moss up before charging towards her. As soon as Moss turns around, she quickly grabs the top rope and lowbridges it, sending Stokes tumbling over the top rope to the floor.
Kris Cruise: Moss just narrowly escaped that strike!
Stokes returns to a vertical base and tuns around before Fujiko flies over the top rope and knocks her down with a corkscrew plancha!
Geoff Penzer: Fujiko wipes her out!
Kris Cruise: But did you see how hard Fujiko hit the floor, too?
Back in the ring, Moss takes Voltage and knocks him back with multiple shoot kicks to the chest. After a roundhouse kick rocks him upright, Moss turns and hits the ropes. When the World Champ returns, Voltage sidesteps, lifts her up and brings her down with a Blue Thunder Bomb!

Voltage then runs towards the far ropes, hooks his arms around the top rope and yanks back, sending Moss down to the mat. Once Moss rolls backwards back to a vertical base, Iser knocks her down from behind with a lariat!
Kris Cruise: What a lariat!
Geoff Penzer: Lowri never even saw it coming!
The boos continue as Moss gets whipped hard into the corner. Moss staggers out of the corner until Iser lifts her up, turns and throws her down with a spinebuster.

Geoff Penzer: Here comes Ant!

When Antoinette returns, Iser steps in her path and hoists her up high over his head. The crowd gasps, then cheers when Antoinette uses the unintended assist from Iser to bring Miller down with a flying hurricanrana!
Kris Cruise: Look at Ant go!
Geoff Penzer: She’s bringing the fire, Kris!
Antoinette runs over into the corner and knocks Voltage off with a running dropkick! Iser runs over and throws out a lariat in the corner, but Antoinette dives out of the way, causing Iser to crash into the turnbuckles. When Iser turns himself around in the corner, Antoinette runs over, hops on top of Iser and brings him down with a monkey flip!
Moss and Tijerina run across the ring before stepping out towards the other team's corner. They then climb up to the top turnbuckle before flipping off and knocking Voltage and Miller down with moonsaults!
Kris Cruise: The World and Pride Champions have just taken flight!
Geoff Penzer: They’ve got the opposition on the ropes! It’s all up to Antoinette to put them away!
Back inside, Iser gets back to his feet before Antoinette runs up from behind and brings him down with the Sugar Crash (Backstabber)! The cheers continue as she steps out to the apron, scales to the top, flips off and connects with the Candy Crush (Swanton Bomb)! She turns around and makes the cover.

The crowd cheers Antoinette as she scales the turnbuckles. The Legacy Champion reaches the top and twirls off for the Rave-A-Round (Corkscrew Moonsault)! Iser rolls out of the way! It doesn't matter! Antoinette lands on her feet! Iser gets back to a vertical base and gets caught with a spin kick! NO! Iser catches the kick before swinging the leg away from him. hH then catches Antoinette with three jabs. He motions for a discus clothesline to complete his signature combo. Antoinette instinctively ducks the avoid the blow, but she falls right into Iser's trap! The crowd erupts with boos as "Unsainted" blares throughout the arena.
Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners, SETH ISER, NINA STOKES, ACE VOLTAGE and MARA JADE MILLER!
Immediately after the mat, Miller slides into the ring, runs over and puts the boots to Antoinette!
Kris Cruise: Oh come on, Mara!
Geoff Penzer: Enough’s enough!
Miller mounts down on top of Antoinette before applying a two-handed choke. Suddenly, the boos turn to cheers as Piper Lennon races down to the ring.
Kris Cruise: Here comes Piper!
Miller continue to try and choke Antoinette out until Lennon slides in, runs over and tackles Miller down.
Geoff Penzer: Miller with the save!
Miller and Lennon fight back to their feet. They continue to trade blows until Miller gains the advantage. They then latch onto Lennon's throat.
Kris Cruise: This isn’t good! They’ve got evil intentions!
Miller muscles Lennon over towards the ropes before pointing down at the floor.
Geoff Penzer: They’re about to chokeslam Piper to the outside!
Miller lifts Lennon up for a chokeslam over the top rope to the floor. On the way up, Lennon catches Miller with an elbow to the side of the head. After Miller shakes off the blow and turns around, Antoinette and Lennon run over and deliver a double clothesline, sending Miller over the top rope to the floor!
Kris Cruise: Down goes Mara Jade!
The cheers turn back to boos when Voltage runs over and dumps them both over the top to the floor.
Geoff Penzer: Antoinette and Piper have to look out for each other if they’re in the Rumble at the same time. If that happens at Only the Strong Survive, they’ll both be eliminated!
Voltage shouts at the crowd that he's the real main event. When Voltage turns around, Tijerina runs over and delivers a clothesline, sending them both over the top to the floor!
Kris Cruise: Julian just sent both him and Ace tumbling to the floor!
Geoff Penzer: At the Rumble, Tijerina has to make sure that he doesn’t go flying to the floor, too, if he attempts a running clothesline!
On the outside, Iser looks over and sees the World Championship glistening on the time keeper's table. Iser becomes transfixed at the sight of the belt.
Kris Cruise: Iser’s got his sights set on the World Championship
Iser makes his way over towards the table. The moment he starts to pick the championship up, Moss spins him around from behind and catches him with a European Uppercut.
Geoff Penzer: Not so fast!
After a second European Uppercut connects, she takes Iser and slams him face-first onto the apron before pushing him back inside. Moss rolls back inside, returns to her feet and starts to knock Iser back with multiple shoot kicks to the chest. She then throws out a roundhouse kick, but Iser swats it away, doubles her over with a boot to the midsection and follows up by pulling her into a standing front facelock. The crowd boos when they see Iser twirling his finger around to call for the Deprivation DDT!
Kris Cruise: Iser’s about to spike her!
Iser falls back, planting Moss with the Deprivation DDT!
Geoff Penzer: NO!
The crowd gasps when Stokes spins Iser towards her before dropping him with a roundhouse kick.
Kris Cruise: What the…!?
Geoff Penzer: Stokes wanted Lowri from the start! She wanted to get the first crack at the champion before anyone else! She’s been denied all night! There’s no one to deny her now!
The Kodiak turns her attention back towards Moss, who dropped to a knee after Stokes spun Iser away from her. The World Champion slowly rises to her feet and is now standing face to face with Stokes. The crowd is at a fever pitch while the two are nearly nose to nose.
Kris Cruise: Could this be a preview of what’s to come, Geoff!?
Suddenly, the crowd erupts with boos when John Carmichael slides into the ring, runs up behind Moss and nails her from behind, knocking her into Stokes. Both Stokes and Moss smack heads before they collapse to the mat.
Kris Cruise: John Carmichael!? Damn him!
Carmichael is quick to yank Moss up off the canvas before lifting her up and planting her once again with the Bloodline (swinging lifting single underhook DDT, aka swinging DNA Driver)!
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Geoff Penzer: He got Lowri again!
Fujiko rolls in and goes after Carmichael, but he's just a step too quick as he's able to roll to the outside and walk backwards up the ramp to safety.
Kris Cruise: That’s the second time in this recent run of shows that Carmichael has left the World Champion laid out! Damn him!
Geoff Penzer: You talked about a potential Moss and Stokes faceoff? Maybe that right there is what’s to come? Will Carmichael leave Moss laid out one more time for the World Championship?
The Apex Goddess backs away from the ropes before checking on Stokes, then Moss.
Kris Cruise: Ladies and gentlemen, for Geoff Penzer, this is Kris Cruise signing off! We’ll see you next time at Only the Strong Survive! Goodnight, everyone!
The camera cuts back to Carmichael as he does the belt motion around his waist. Once he reaches the top of the ramp, he soaks in the boos before raising his arms in the air...
