I had some spare time, so I thought I'd write up a character development rp for Jacques. I went freestyle with it, not planning or having any kind of idea of what to write before hand, and I was surprised as to where it went. Personally I'm more than satisfied with it, but of course I'm being a bit biased. So I'd like to get some critique/opinion from some of you guys on two things: Do you prefer I keep my character development in my match rps to be more like this (realistic and not over the top) or the way I have it now? & How important do you feel character development truly is in a match rp, even if it has match relevance? I thought it was awesome, actually. I like the tarot stuff, too. But to me, I liked this better.
As far as character development in match rp,s I guess it really depends on how much does it take up in the overall size of the roleplay? And does it advance the roleplay? Like, does something that happens in the CD have some overarching theme that correlates with a match against that week's opponent.

Thanks THC. I'm sorry if I'm probing too much here, but what exactly did you like about it? I'm just wondering really so you don't have to answer.
I see what you mean. As some of you know, I've had an issue of not really talking about wrestling at all in the character development rps in the past, and I'm actually pissed with myself for not improving in that regard between RMP and now. It's just not a habit, yet. Thank you for your feedback.

It was my favourite of your rp's since I joined the FGA a couple of weeks back. I've liked them all but I feel this gave an insight into the character that I haven't seen before, maybe because I haven't read your older stuff, my only gripe is spelling and grammar but it's a CD so it's not so important. I honestly think if this had been your RP you'd have dealt Tomkins his first defeat, but that's pretty much a moot point now. Keep up the good work, looking forward to our match up.

Honestly, I would say the emotion you conveyed and how expressive Jacques was. It made me connect with the character a bit more. Hope that helps.
