The scene shifts to an establishment shot of the Addition Financial Arena exterior. We then transition inside the arena, where orange, red and yellow pyro shoot off in various patterns. We then head to a wide shot of the arena. The camera pans around, capturing the rabid capacity crowd.

Kris Cruise: Hello everyone and welcome to Night Two of All-Star Showdown X! I'm Kris Cruise! Joining me as always is my colleague Stephy Auger and Stephy, what a night of action we witnessed just a mere 24 hours ago.

Stephy Auger: Last night, we saw champions retain. We saw new champions crowned. Tonight, we have three more titles on the line. Will the champions walk out of Orlando the same way they came in? We're going to find out tonight.

Kris Cruise: That's right, Stephy. Three championships will be on the line. But before we get to those title bouts, let's talk about the opening contest. It will be a Fatal 4-Way pitting Sloan Talbot, Antoinette, Julian Tijerina and Laura Perelli against each other. Nothing has been made official yet. But I’m hearing that this match may have some title implications.

Stephy Auger: Well two of the four grapplers in this match already have championship experience. Both Talbot and Tijerina are former 15 Champions. Laura Perelli has come THIS CLOSE to claiming that 15 Championship on multiple occasions. Antoinette Sands comes from a family that has a long line of champions. This may be the opener, Cruise. But it's a big spot for all four involved.

Kris Cruise: Yes it is. After that, we will have our first of three championship matches on the card for tonight. Mighty Sparrow, the latest double champion in FGA history, will be defending both his 15 and Legacy Championships tonight against Logan Alexander and Mark Bisley. But he won't be competing in two separate matches. He'll be taking on both of them at the same time!

Stephy Auger: This isn't a normal Triple Threat Match or even a Three Way Dance. It's a Two Falls Match. The first fall will decide the 15 Championship and the second fall will decide the Legacy Championship. Depending on how it all plays out, Sparrow could be walking out of that one empty-handed.

Kris Cruise: Sparrow will definitely be at a disadvantage there. But if anyone can overcome it, i'ts The West Indian Whirlwind. In our second championship match of the night, Ace Voltage will defend his Pride Championship against former champ, Tyler Storm.

Stephy Auger: These two have been feuding over for the Pride Championship for what feels like all of 2021. Tonight is the latest chapter in this rivalry and Ace Voltage will be looking to put Tyler Storm behind him, once and for all.

Kris Cruise: Last night, it was a Dream Match for Chandler Scott. Tonight, it's a Grudge Match when he meets John Carmichael!

Stephy Auger: The downward slide continues for the so-called DNA of FGA. Tonight, Carmichael looks to make good on his promise by eradicating the Virus of FGA for good!

Kris Cruise: Finally, in our main event, Cordelia Stevenson will defend her Undisputed Championship against the 2021 Gold Rush Rumble winner, Lowri Moss.

Stephy Auger: This is a rematch of last year's All-Star Showdown main event. But the results will remain the same, Cruise. Moss may think she's learned something new to defeat our undisputed championship. But the only thing she'll learn tonight is that even after a whole year, she's still not better than Cordelia Stevenson. Get familiar, Lowri!

Kris Cruise: We've got a ton of action in store for you tonight! So let's not waste anymore time! Let's send it down to the ring where J.A. Aldridge is ready to give the ring introductions for tonights opening contest. J.A., take it away!

Antoinette vs. Julian Tijerina vs. Sloan Talbot vs. Laura Perelli

The arena goes dark for just a moment, as the opening riffs to Voodoo Johnson's "United Divided" play through the PA, before the white lights are replaced by swirling blue and yellow replacements. A few seconds pass, though, and it’s only when the drum beat kicks in that the curtain is pushed aside, and Laura Perelli comes spinning through, immediately spreading her arms out wide, a sly little smile on her face as she glances out into the arena. She holds her spot in the center of the stage, rolling her neck out to either side, only making her way down the ramp when she’s good and ready.

Laura’s not exactly in a particular hurry, as she more saunters down the ring, occasionally glancing to either side of her to take in the fans at the aisleway. It’s never for more than a moment or two, though, as the most regard Laura’s willing to give is a little tilt of the head to one fan in particular trying to get her attention--whatever he may have been saying, it didn’t do much to faze her, and she just continues to move on. At her own pace, she eventually reaches the ring steps, pausing with one boot on the bottom step, closing her eyes for just a second before quickly jogging up onto the apron, casually wiping the soles of her boots off before spinning around to face the crowd--if only to smirk a little bit.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is a Fatal 4-Way Match! Introducing first, hailing from Trenton, New Jersey, weighing in at 127 lbs, this is LAURAAAAA PERRELLIIIIIIIII!

Laura swings herself through the ropes, spinning in a half circle to face the opposite side fans and stretching both arms out, holding the pose for more than a couple seconds before eventually backing herself into her corner, shrugging her jacket off and dumping it out of the ring. Grabbing the top rope with one hand, she leans down, stretching her opposite leg out in preparation for the match.

The first few operatic bars of Slipknot’s “Unsainted” begin to play as the lights pulsate in time with the music. Slowly the curtains part, and Sloan Talbot steps through - his pace slow and methodical as the song slowly builds.

“Oh, I'll never kill myself to save my soul
I was gone, but how was I to know?”

J.A. Aldridge: Her opponent, hailing from Norfolk, Virginia! Weighing in at 253 pounds… SLOAN TALBOT!

Sloan cracks his knuckles as he makes his way down the aisle, a expression of pure, unbridled hatred upon his face. Completely ignoring the fans either side of him Talbot reaches ringside, placing a knee on the apron before pulling himself up using the middle rope. He takes a quick, hateful glance around the arena before stepping into the ring and making his way to the corner.

The lights go out. A few seconds later, "Senbonzakura" by Lindsey Stirling plays, the lights go back on, and "El Guapo, Julian Tijerrrrrrrrriiiiiiinnaa!!!" comes out, bathed in purple and pink spotlight and holding a purple rose, which he sniffs. He pivots slowly for the benefit of the crowd. On his way to the ring, he high-fives fans and surrenders his rose to a lucky girl at ringside.

J.A. Aldridge: Their opponent, hailing from Extremadura, Spain! Weighing in at 220 pounds! He is “The Nevenmous Virtuoso”... JULIAN TIJERINA!

Julian gracefully climbs inside the ring. Once inside the ring, Julian spins on his toes with both arms stretched to either side and his head towards the ceiling. He stops and slowly, almost dramatically, removes his mask and shows his own grin, a more attractive version of the mask's. In one fluid motion, Julian takes off the poncho, and ends up with both arms once again stretched to either side, one hand holding his mask while the other holding the poncho.

Surrendering the mask and the poncho to the referee, Julian climbs the turnbuckle and again stretches both arms to either side before applauding the fans, randomly waving and pointing at people, blowing kisses at cute girls, and occasionally winking. Finally, he goes back down, stretches with the ropes' help, and waits for his opponent to get in the ring with him.

“Killin It” by Krewella hits the P.A system and the fans erupt in cheers. Pink and purple lights zoom around the arena as Antoinette Sands comes skipping out from the back. With a perky smile as ever, she jumps up and down amping the fans up before she delivers one final jump, slapping her shoes down on the ground before running down the ramp. As she runs, she slaps the hands of some fans, glitter spewing from her hands as she slaps theirs. She looks down at the kandi on her wrist, tossing it into the crowd as they cheer.

J.A. Aldridge: Their opponent, hailing from Durham, North Carolina! Weighing in at 121 pounds… ANTOINETTE!

As she makes her way down the ramp, she approaches the ring as she climbs up the ring apron she stands up and removes her sparkly jacket tossing it to the side as she enters. Once she’s in the ring, she bounces up and down, screaming out to the fans who encourage her before playfully slapping hands with the ref as she awaits the start of the match.

Kris Cruise: Here we go, Stephy. We’re about to get Night Two of All-Star Showdown X underway with this Fatal 4-Way.

Stephy Auger: These four aren’t just setting the pace for tonight, but all four are looking to get a big win on one of the biggest nights of the year for FGA.

The bell sounds as Tijerina, Perelli and Antoinette all run over to the corner to attack Talbot! The crowd cheers as Talbot gets caught with multiple punches, kicks and clubbing blows.

Kris Cruise: Talbot’s getting triple teamed in the corner!

Stephy Auger: He is the biggest threat, after all.

Talbot continues to get attacked from all sides until he reaches out, palms Antoinette’s face and shoves her down to the mat. He then turns and socks Tijerina with a right hook, dropping him to the mat. After doubling Perelli over with a knee to the midsection, Talbot moves her into the corner. From there, Talbot unleashes a series of back elbows strikes, followed by a series of knee strikes, followed by a series of shoulder thrusts. The boos continue as he brings Perelli out of the corner with a hip toss neckbreaker! He makes the cover.

Antoinette leaps over and breaks up the pin with a body splash across the back.

Antoinette picks up Talbot and goes for an irish whip until he reverses, sending Antoinette into the ropes. When Antoinette returns, Talbot hoists her into the air, catches her across his shoulders and brings her down with a Samoan Drop! Talbot returns to his feet, turns around and counters a running Tijerina with a back elbow to the face that knocks him down. He then pulls Tijerina off the apron before whipping him into the ropes. When Tijerina returns, he brings Talbot down with the Tilt-a-whirl Surprise (Tilt-a-whirl Headscissors transitioned to a Crucifix Pin)! NO! Talbot counters the crucifix pin attempt with another Samoan Drop! Talbot leans back and hooks the near leg for the cover.

Perelli breaks up the pin with a penalty kick to the side of the head!

Perelli brings Talbot back to his feet and sets up for an irish whip when Talbot reverses, sending her into the ropes. When she returns, she ducks a lariat attempt from Talbot. When Talbot turns around, Perelli catches him with four kicks to the midsection before delivering an arm wrench into a double knee armbreaker. Talbot bounces back to his feet before staggering over into the ropes. He tries to shake off the arm as Perelli rushes over. Talbot ducks the charge and dumps her over the top rope to the floor! NO! Perelli lands safely on the apron, doubles Talbot over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes, reaches in, grabs the arm and jumps off the apron with an armbreaker across the middle rope! Talbot turns around from the ropes, clutches the apron and heads over towards the center of the ring while Perelli climbs back up to the apron. She scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and catches Talbot when he turns around with a diving hurricanrana, sending Talbot through the ropes to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Perelli’s sent Talbot to the outside!

Stephy Auger: Talbot was hitting everything that moved until Perelli got a hold of him.

Claire Fox heads over and gives Talbot some words of encouragement as he tries to pick himself up off the mat. When Talbot turns to face the ring, Perelli leaps through the ropes and knocks him down with a suicide dive!

Kris Cruise: Perelli caught Talbot with that big dive through the ropes!

Perelli returns to her feet, turns around and gets knocked down with a diving crossbody off the top from Antoinette!

Kris Cruise: Now it’s Perelli that gets caught with a suicide dive!

Antoinette picks up Perelli and slams her face-first onto the apron before rolling her back into the ring. She then rolls back inside and makes the cover.

Perelli gets sent for the ride. When she returns, she gets doubled over with a spin kick before getting brought down with a swinging neckbreaker. Antoinette makes the cover.

Antoinette picks up Perelli and sends her back into the ropes with an irish whip. Perelli returns off the rebound and nearly gets caught with a big boot from Antoinette. But Perelli gets her hands up in time, catches the foot, swings the leg away from her and follows up with the Code of Silence (Saka Otoshi into Sleeper Hold)! The crowd boos when Perelli transitions into a Fujiwara Armbar!

Kris Cruise: Perelli with the smooth counter and transition into the Fujiwara!

Stephy Auger: There's very few in FGA that are as technically proficient as she is.

Antoinette cries out in pain while Perelli pulls back on the arm. The ref asks Antoinette if she wants to give up. Antoinette refuses before struggling to pull herself across the ring. The boos end up turning to cheers when Antoinette eventually reaches the bottom rope to force a rope break.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Perelli reluctantly breaks the hold. She scrambles back to a vertical base and nails Antoinette with repeated stomps to the back. She then reaches down, moves Antoinette’s arm into position and delivers a stomp to the keylocked arm! She then pulls Antoinette back to her feet, brings her down with a snapmare and follows up with a shoulder claw. When Antoinette refuses to submit, Perelli takes off into the ropes before flattening her with a penalty Kick to the shoulder! She drops down for the cover.

Kris Cruise: Sands avoided the three count. But Perelli’s focused attack on the arm is starting to take its toll.

Stephy Auger: If Perelli gets her locked in another submission, she might not be fortunate enough to escape.

Perelli lifts her up off the mat before lifting her up across her shoulder. She’s about to deliver a Shoulderbreaker until Antoinette slips down from behind and pushes her away. Perelli turns around, runs over towards the corner and gets countered with a back elbow to the face before getting planted with a Tornado DDT! She makes the cover.

Antoinette goes for an irish whip until Perelli reverses. Perelli goes for a back body drop off the rebound, but Antoinette slips down from behind and counters with the Sugar Rush (Russian Leg Sweep)! She makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: That russian leg sweep is as academic is it comes, but it nearly got the job done there.

Antoinette sets up for a running bulldog when Perelli pushes off, sending her crashing into the corner. Perelli runs over to attack until Antoinette knocks her back with a boot to the face. She then slips out to the apron and starts to climb the turnbuckles. Perelli then climbs the turnbuckles as well and stops Antoinette with a punch to the face. Antoinette gets caught with another punch. Perelli goes for a third when Antoinette blocks and counters with a punch of her own. She then fires off a flurry of right hands before bringing Perelli down with a sunset flip powerbomb!

Tijerina takes Antoinette, delivers an irish whip, follows her across the ring and hits a corner backflip dropkick, followed by a step-up enzuigiri, followed by La Guillotina (Slingshot Leg Drop to the back of the head of an opponent draped on the second rope)! He makes the cover.

Talbot slips back inside, grabs Antoinette by the throat and pulls her back to her feet before throwing her down with a chokeslam! He makes the cover.

Tijerina takes Talbot, delivers an irish whip, follows him into the corner and connects with a corner backflip dropkick. He then hits a step-up enzuigiri that knocks Talbot down across the middle ropes. Tijerina goes to follow up with La Guillotina, but Talbot slips back inside the ring. The crowd boos when Tijerina whiffs of the leg drop before bouncing off the apron and hitting the floor!

Kris Cruise: Nobody was home on that one!

Stephy Auger: Nice try, Jules!

Talbot steps up, turns around and gets caught in the Italian Arm Trick (Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissor Armbar) from Perelli!

Kris Cruise: Perelli with a submission out of nowhere!

Stephy Auger: You’ve got this, Laura!

Perelli pulls back on the far arm while she fights for the submission. The ref asks Talbot if he wants to give up. Talbot refuses. He then slips his head out from between Perelli’s legs before countering with a sidewalk slam. Talbot takes Perelli and whips her into the ropes. When she returns, Talbot scoops her up across his shoulder before bringing her down with a front powerslam.

Talbot steps out to the apron before scaling the turnbuckles.

Kris Cruise: Woah, woah, woah!

Stephy Auger: Talbot isn't known to go up top.

Once Perelli gets back to her feet and turns around, Talbot leaps off and knocks her down with a diving lariat! NO! Perelli grabs the arm, brings Talbot down to the mat and places him in the New Jersey Necktie (Rings of Saturn)!

Kris Cruise: WHAT A COUNTER FROM PERELLI!

Stephy Auger: YES!

Perelli fights for the submission until Tijerina leaps off from the top and and lands across Perelli and Talbot with the Guerrero Splash!

NO!

Perelli releases the New Jersey Necktie and rolls off Talbot in time, causing Talbot to get hit with the Frog Splash across the back!

Kris Cruise: Perelli got out of the way just in time.

Perelli takes Tijerina and whips him into the ropes. Instead of returning, Tijerina hooks his arm around the top rope. Perelli runs over to attack until Tijerina ducks and dumps her over the top to the floor. Tijerina then rolls to the outside before bringing Perelli down with a Sling Blade on the floor!

Kris Cruise: Tijerina just took out Perelli!

Tijerina slips back inside until a running dropkick from Antoinette knocks him through the ropes to the floor! With Tijerina and Perelli on the outside, Antoinette heads into the corner and starts to climb the turnbuckles.

Kris Cruise: Tijerina and Perelli are down on the outside! Talbot’s still down in the ring! This is Antoinette’s chance!

Stephy Auger: Sloan. Sloan! GET UP!

The crowd cheers when Antoinette flips off and lands across Talbot’s back with the Rave-A-Round (corkscrew moonsault)! She makes the cover.

Tijerina pulls Antoinette back to her feet before a kick to the midsection doubles him over. She then delivers an irish whip, follows him into the corner, hops on top of him and throws him out of the corner with a monkey flip! NO! Tijerina lands on his feet! Antoinette runs over to attack, but she gets caught with the Rompiendo El Hielo (Shoot Kick to the left leg, followed by a Shoot Kick to the left side, followed by a Roundhouse Kick, followed by a finger gun gesture before a Superkick)! After Antoinette drops to a knee, Tijerina hits the ropes, returns and flattens her with the Kedavra Knee (Shining Wizard)! He makes the cover.

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this bout… JULIAN TIJERINA!

The cheers continue as Tijerina gets his arm raised in victory.

Kris Cruise: Julian Tijerina picks up the win in an action-packed Fatal 4-Way! What a way to kickoff Night Two of All-Star Showdown X!

Stephy Auger: Agreed! Julian Tijerina, to his credit, remains undefeated here in his return to FGA. If what you say is true, Cruise, then Jules could find himself in title talks sooner rather than later.

Post-match, Tijerina gracefully drops a rose on Antoinette before exiting the ring to preen to his fan girls.

We open with the camera in focus and centered on Theodore Harris inside one of the backstage locker rooms. Wearing a two piece light grey suit, with a black button up shirt underneath it, he stands at ease before the camera with his hands clasped together in front of him and a small smile on his face.

Theodore Harris: Well… it would appear that good things do in fact come to those who are willing and able to wait for them. I will admit that it has been a very long wait to get to this point as well… and it wasn’t exactly an easy road to travel to get here either. Four and a half months ago, Logan Alexander and Mighty Sparrow crossed paths for the first time. Squaring off in a Beat the Clock Challenge for a United States title shot. A very close fought match between the two of them. Logan’s experience and technical ability against Sparrow’s youth, speed and agility. But all we really got out of it was an almost seventeen and a half minute draw and a whole lot of ‘what ifs’. What if Sloan Talbot hadn’t shown up at ringside? What if Logan had been able to put Sparrow in Perfect Chaos Theory, as he seemed about to do before Sloan distracted him? What if there hadn’t been a time limit on the match? What if?

He glances off to his left and the camera pans slightly in that direction, revealing Logan Alexander, dressed for in ring competition, sitting on a bench running the length of the wall. His arms are resting on his legs and he’s leaning forward slightly, eyes closed, head bowed.

Theodore Harris: Neither one of us has really sat down and worried about what might have come from those scenarios. If Logan had been able to focus on Mighty Sparrow without Sloan Talbot coming to the ring, maybe he would have been able to apply Perfect Chaos Theory. Maybe Sparrow would have been able to push him off or block it instead. Who knows where things might have gone then. But if Logan were to have applied it and Sparrow was locked in it there, what would have happened then?

Theodore looks back at the camera.

Theodore Harris: If I were a blindly arrogant man, I would just say that Logan would have won. But to be honest, neither of us believes that his signature submission would have carried the day there. Most likely, Sparrow would have found a way to hang in there until the bell rang. He’s shown everyone that he’s got quite a force of will behind him. Despite how well I know this man here beside me and his quality of work, Sparrow wasn’t likely to fold in the twenty seconds that were left in that match. Then what if there hadn’t been a time limit on the two of them?

He smiles a bit more.

Theodore Harris: Well, then you likely would have seen a different match out there that night. There’s no telling what would have happened then.

He spreads his arms and offers a small shrug.

Theodore Harris: You see, that’s why we haven’t seen any reason to clamor and call for a rematch or ask for a title shot or anything of the sort. We aren’t walking around under the assumption that Logan would have won that match. Did Logan want that opportunity? Of course. Who wouldn’t want to get an answer there? Who wouldn’t want to have a title shot at the same time? But all anyone knows for certain is that Logan and Sparrow were evenly matched enough that they could have easily wrestled to twenty, twenty five, or even thirty plus minutes before someone finally got the move in that wins it for them. Logan could have won. Sparrow could have won. But we can live with that uncertainty, because there is another what if that can haunt a wrestler even more. What if you demanded that rematch, got it… and lost? You’d soon wish that you’d left well enough alone because you’d still have been able to think that you were the better.

He offers the camera a knowing smirk.

Theodore Harris: Mighty Sparrow… You’ve been looking for his match for three months now, at least. Perhaps it’s been on your mind longer than that, but you had other things to deal with first. You had to defend your Legacy title at Only the Strong Survive and conclude your business in the Gold Rush Rumble. Only after that, did you voice your desire with a request to actually make a rematch between the two of you happen. Maybe it was because you’d scored a couple of personal victories over Logan at that point. You’d eliminated him from a battle royale on the Vertigo prior and you also tossed him out of the Gold Rush Rumble as well. You didn’t quite get the win in either case, but you had beaten him in both circumstances. Since then, you won the Fifteen championship in front of us and then you ended up involved in Logan’s match with Mark Bisley two weeks ago.

His expression turns to a frown of dismay for a few moments, before Theodore lets out a breath and the frown disappears.

Theodore Harris: We try to not hold it against you Sparrow, but it feels like ever since that time limit draw… you just keep getting yourself involved in Logan’s business in the ring. Logan and Sloan were mixing it up in the Vertigo battle royale… then you got involved and Logan lost. In the Gold Rush Rumble, Logan was getting reacquainted with Lowri Moss and had her on the ropes… then you got involved and Logan lost. Two weeks ago on Vertigo, Logan and Mark were intent on settling some things between them… then you got involved and Logan lost.

He reaches up with his left hand and strokes his chin a couple of times.

Theodore Harris: I’ll admit that one hurt the most.

He lowers his hand, now frowning slightly once more.

Theodore Harris: It was something we wanted to avoid Sparrow. I had asked you not to get involved just to keep something like that from happening. Logan spared you the same treatment the week before under similar circumstances. He let you and Bisley resolve your match without tainting the outcome despite wanting to floor both of you. But you couldn’t seem to reciprocate the professional courtesy. Then without hearing anything from you between then and now, we can’t help but feel that this might just be a little bit personal here. I can assume that it’s something you wanted to avoid as well… at least initially. On the show after you became a double champion, you came to me to talk and keep things professional. After Logan and Mark’s match though… not so much. No words offered as explanation or an attempt to keep the peace. It’s not as though we are difficult to find either. But it’s been a quiet couple of weeks. So... here we are.

He spreads his arms, looking disappointed as though to say “what can we do?”

Theodore Harris: It might not be the way you want it, but now you’ll get to set foot back in the ring with Logan. There’s no over the top eliminations, so you’ll get something much more definitive this time out. And for the last seven days, this man has been waiting eagerly for the opportunity to give you a definitive end, Sparrow.

He points towards Logan, who hasn’t reacted at all to Theodore. For all intents and purposes, it’s like Logan has been alone this whole time.

Theodore Harris: Since June, he’s been waiting. He wanted another match with you since that time limit draw. You were the first person to push him to that point since he’d returned to FGA last September. You pushed him, but you didn’t break when he pushed back. Since then, Logan has been defeated multiple times by you… intentionally or not. Tonight, he finally gets a chance to even things up with you, Sparrow. He’s got two opportunities to do so, and he intends to make them count.

Theodore then points to the camera, his expression having grown serious.

Theodore Harris: Quite simply, after all that has happened, he needs to. You’ve taken so much from him and you probably don’t even realize it. The events from three Vertigos ago were a preview of what is to come… Not with you holding two championships, but with Logan standing tall over you at the end. And that’s got to be something awful to consider for you. Isn’t it, Mister Bisley?

He smiles again, lowering his hand as well.

Theodore Harris: You’re there raging over the fact that your rematch has been tainted by Logan's presence. This is supposed to be your moment. You’d be getting to step in against Mighty Sparrow once more and this time you’d correct the monumental miscarriage of justice that occurred three Vertigos ago, when you lost the Fifteen championship under dubious circumstances. Now instead of getting your rightly deserved rematch for the title you never should have lost, you get a chance to reclaim it and claim the other belt that should already be yours.

A pause for effect.

Theodore Harris: Sounds about right?

Still smiling, he rolls his eyes.

Theodore Harris: Poor Mark. Everything about this situation that you’re grumbling to yourself about is all on you. And there’s no way to know if you even realize it, cause you’d never admit it if you did. That’s the best part in all of this. You desperately seek success, but you’ve done so much to ensure your own failure.

He clasps his hands in front of him, now looking amused as he continues.

Theodore Harris: You went out and played games with Sparrow when you were one on one. So sure of yourself and that you were going to be walking out with both titles. Just assuming that Sparrow wasn’t improving on what had been his most glaring weakness... holding his own against mat wrestlers. He ended up taking everything you threw at him out there until he forced you to retreat briefly cause things weren’t going your way. And even after you regained control and had your game plan executed perfectly, it wasn’t enough for you to get the win. Sparrow would not break for you. Then it all fell apart on you. You lost your composure. You lost your focus. You lost your title.

He steps forward, leaning in closer to the camera, and speaks more softly.

Theodore Harris: Sparrow beat you clean. You can look for all the excuses you can but that simple fact is going to remain there even if you refuse to acknowledge it.

Another pause, with Theodore just giving the camera a knowing look. He then eases back from the camera, before resuming in a normal tone.

Theodore Harris: Then from there we all got to see you effectively stomping your foot and throwing a tantrum about getting your rematch with Sparrow, something you were likely to get regardless if you would just do the smart thing for once and just... shut... up... and wait. There was no way that Logan was going to be given priority over you for a Fifteen title match. Now if you had wanted another crack at the Legacy title, you likely would have had to wait your turn since you’d already lost your first try at it.

He tilts his head slightly to one side and smirks.

Theodore Harris: The funny thing about this situation though is that despite how adamant you were, after your title for title failure, that Logan should not be part of the equation regarding the titles, you had already made him a part of it.

He chuckles softly.

Theodore Harris: While you and Sparrow had your match three Vertigos ago, Logan and I had taken ringside seats so we could observe Sparrow’s growth since June to see how he’d improved and what we’d need to pay attention to and watch out for when we finally crossed paths again. Then during that match, while stalling for time, you decided to come over and get in Logan’s face. You decided to get him involved. You may not have intended for him to get physically involved in your confrontation… or maybe you did. Maybe you were hoping that he’d deck you and you could have skipped out with your fourth title defense on a disqualification win. Not a bad idea from the “smartest man in the room”. Except that Logan didn’t take the bait. Then you and Sparrow each floored him and he returned the favor after the match. That led to your match with Logan the following show and Sparrow decided that he would come out to watch things this time. And what did you do then, Mark? You decided to get Sparrow involved in that match, stirring the pot with the three of you even more. It worked out to your benefit in the end that time though. Sending Logan crashing into Sparrow’s thick skull, that the words “do not get involved” couldn’t penetrate, dazing him enough that you could roll him up for the win. Now I could sit here and complain about the illegitimacy of your win because of that Mark, but instead I'll do you one better.

Theodore pauses and begins to clap. For all intents and purposes, it comes across as an honest gesture. After about ten seconds, he stops.

Theodore Harris: Congratulations Mark. You beat Logan Alexander one on one. You’re the first person since he returned to action that has a pinfall or submission win over him. The details of how it happened are unimportant because I know that if the roles had been reversed and Logan had the same opportunity to exploit, he would have without a moment of hesitation.

He glances over at Logan again, who’s still seated as before. Theodore shakes his head slightly, then focuses back on the camera again.

Theodore Harris: But as a result of all of that Mark, here we are now. Mighty Sparrow, Mark Bisley and Logan Alexander get to face off in a triple threat, two fall, double championship match here tonight. All thanks to you. Had you not been trying so hard to prove just how smart you are, what likely would have happened is that Sparrow would have gotten to defend his two championships in two separate matches. One yesterday and one today. One match against you for the Fifteen title. One match against Logan for the Legacy title. The best part of that is that I would have lobbied as much as I could to have Logan’s match with Sparrow on night one so that they could face off at their best and that would have given you a title match against a more worn down opponent here tonight. Instead, you get to face two opponents at their peak. You set yourself up for the exact situation you wanted to avoid. Bravo.

He pauses to clap again, and this time it is done in a more mocking manner.

Theodore Harris: So now, you have to step into the ring with one man that you know can beat you and another that you have highly motivated to want to beat you. And Logan doesn’t care whether he beats you by just picking up the win on you or beats you into a pulp out there in the ring first. You having a win up on him is something that Logan isn’t going to let stand. At Grapple Kingdom 2, you and Shintaro came out and beat the Chaotics, pinning Logan, to claim the World Tag Team titles. At Only the Strong Survive a few months later, Logan knew he had to step up there after getting beaten by you and he and Ashlyn were able to reclaim the titles. Then a few months on from there, you and Shintaro got another pinfall on Logan. Then when the next rematch came up with the titles on the line, after you’d motivated Logan to put you in a hole, he followed through and that was pretty much the end of Smart Style as any sort of credible threat. He damn near destroyed the Chaotics there that night to do so, but he did get back his win from you.

Theodore now glares towards the camera. There’s no humor on his face as he speaks.

Theodore Harris: So what do you think he’s going to be willing to do to you here tonight with two more titles on the line and you standing in his way again, Mark? You think there is a limit to it or a line he won’t be willing to cross? Hope for the best out there Mark, because you are very likely going to experience the worst.

After a few moments, he seems to relax and take on a contemplative air.

Theodore Harris: But those are only part of why this night is important for Logan. He’s got two chances here tonight to make up for his losses against Mighty Sparrow and Mark Bisley… but this is also a night that is the culmination of a journey that has been much longer for Logan. It has been almost four and a half years since Logan first debuted for FGA and tonight is his first singles championship match. He’s had a rather solid singles career here in FGA over the years, even making it to the finals of the 2018 Frontier Lions Cup, but in all that time, the closest he ever got to a match against a reigning champion was against Neon way back at the start of 2018 and it was a non-title match. And it didn’t go well for him.

He frowns slightly and offers another shrug.

Theodore Harris: It’s just been year after year of being overlooked in favor of other competitors that had done nothing to distinguish themselves. This year alone, he’s picked up wins against multiple former Fifteen champions, but he wasn’t given this opportunity based on his own merits. He got this opportunity because Sparrow has been lobbying for a rematch between them and because Bisley got the three of them mixed up in each other’s business over the last few weeks.

At this point, Logan lifts his head slowly and he looks up towards Theodore.

Theodore Harris: With all of that in mind, Logan is keenly aware that if things don’t go his way tonight out there, this is likely going to be the last look he’ll ever get at a title in FGA. And to top it off, this match takes place at All Star Showdown… an event that has not been kind to Logan during his time here.

He lifts his left hand and extends his index finger.

Theodore Harris: 2017, All Star Showdown six. A two night event and Logan didn’t even make it onto the card.

He extends his middle finger.

Theodore Harris: 2018, All Star Showdown seven. Sixteen wrestlers. Eight tag teams. Brand versus brand. Surrounded by teammates that were all so fixated on getting the World Tag Team titles off of the Chaotics that two of them almost put him in hospital a few weeks before and the rest didn’t give a damn. Yet he was the bad guy at the end of the night. The only person on his team who did care was the person that would eventually succeed in putting him on the shelf. Which brings us to...

He extends his ring finger.

Theodore Harris: 2019, All Star Showdown eight. Ashlyn De Luca tries to finish what she started by ending Logan there that night. She succeeded... for a while.

He extends his pinky.

Theodore Harris: 2020, All Star Showdown nine. Another packed show and, once again, no place for Logan.

He lowers his hand and shakes his head briefly.

Theodore Harris: A whole lot of different things have come to a head here tonight and none of the narratives are good for Logan. Facing two opponents that have the edge in victories against him coming in, competing for championships he wasn’t ever considered worthy of challenging for before, at a show where he hasn’t had success before.

Theodore glances at Logan, almost like taking note of him watching him for the first time.

Theodore Harris: He looks at that and sees a situation where he has no other option but to succeed though. There isn’t anything left here for Logan if he comes out of this night with nothing to show for it. What does he do if he loses here tonight? Toil away for another four years until the next chance comes along? He’s not going to accept that. It all stands before him like some sort of monumental challenge, but he has the chance to strike all of them down here in one night and you had better believe that he is motivated to make it all happen. He knows he can. It was a long time ago, but he’s been in a match with two falls and two titles on the line and he walked out with both. He’s got a good track record in multi-person matches. He can handle himself quite well against multiple opponents and he’s also got me out there with him.

Looking back at the camera, Theodore smirks at that.

Theodore Harris: He’s been a decorated wrestler everywhere he’s been for any length of time. He knows how to get the job done in title matches… even if they don’t come along that often. He’s already shown he can compete with both Sparrow and Bisley. Tonight he’s just got to go that extra step further than them. He knows it isn’t going to be easy though, even if they both have come up short on occasion. Over the last year the two of them have shown their skill in the ring. They’ve each had nine month reigns and that’s nothing to sneeze at. Both of them have been singles champions twice in FGA.

He reaches up to rub his chin thoughtfully.

Theodore Harris: Now, if things go just the right way, Logan might be as well by the end of the night… and that is exactly what he’s aiming for. He’s here to take everything he can. There won’t be any celebration from him should he win the first fall for the Fifteen championship. We’ll take stock after the second fall concludes, but the goal is to be holding both belts when all is said and done here.

He smiles confidently.

Theodore Harris: It might be a tall task, but it’s not like anything else has ever come easy for this man and he’s found ways to come out on top in big situations before. Winning Dynamic Duos in 2017 as part of an untested tag team. Beating Johnny Karma one on one when he was going for broke to get another shot at the International Heavyweight championship. Having three matches in one night for the Frontier Lions Cup, which was a feat in itself even if he didn’t win the last one, and then having a successful World Tag Team title defence the following night. It’s been a long time since he’s had a star making outing like those… he just might be due for one here.

Logan sits up now, almost as though taking a moment to consider what was said, before standing up. Theodore turns and looks at him.

Theodore Harris: It’s time to go out and conquer what lies before you or go down fighting one more time.

Logan regards Theodore silently. Theodore just smiles back at him.

Theodore Harris: No regrets. No excuses.

Theodore extends his left hand, clenched into a fist, before him. Logan glances down for a moment before reciprocating the action and bumping fists with Theodore. Theodore nods to Logan. Then Logan steps past Theodore and moves out of the camera’s field of view. Theodore turns to watch him, then looks back at the camera, nods and then touches two fingers on his right hand to his right temple, offers a quick salute like wave to the camera, then follows after Logan.

With our vocabulary builder out of the way the scene fades to Mark Bisley leaning against a flight case backstage, although if he’s doing it in an effort to look calm, cool and collected he isn’t doing the best job of it given that he’s having to crouch slightly in order to avoid doing an impersonation of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but that’s not important right now

Mark Bisley: There’s a lot of talk about legacies in this business. For some people it’s their body of work. For others it’s the number of titles that they picked up. And for some uneducated children it’s the amount of light tubes that they’ve had broken over their heads, which I suppose is a legacy for whoever erected the pylons that ran directly over the house they grew up in and apparently inherited when from their parents. Long story short, for somebody to not have a legacy in this business they would really have to suck to leave no lasting impression whatsoever. But that also begs an obvious question: what do I want my legacy to be? Do I want it to be the quality of the many, many matches where I was clearly the better competitor? Do I want it to be a list of titles as long as my arm? Do I want it to be the fact that I got started in a garbage fed and not once wielded a light tube, thumbtack, spool of barbed wire or anything else in anger and, more importantly, defeated every single sack of meat they put in front of me regardless?

The nonchalant shrug Bisley gives indicates that he is not surprised by this fact and, frankly, neither should you be

Mark Bisley: Of course I could have my cake and eat it by saying, hey, how about my legacy be holding a list of titles as long as my arm, titles which I just so happened to win by being superior to each and every incumbent so it was really a matter of the natural order putting things where they should be. However, there is a small issue with that theory at the moment…

Bisley taps his shoulder with his middle and ring finger, drawing attention to his shoulder and…well, just his shoulder

Mark Bisley: I have found myself temporarily short of titles, which is a somewhat embarrassing place to find myself. While the reasons for this temporary shortage of championships is hardly my fault, as it comes as a result of Logan Alexander and company’s shenanigans in order to try and weasel their way towards an underserved title win against an opponent they feel they have a chance of beating, but the issue is that my legacy has lost a little bit of luster as a result. After all, I was one win away from being in a position where I could choose which championship I wanted to set my eyes on, as that win would have left me considering whether I wanted to challenge for the US Championship or if I wanted to continue to make the 15 Championship my own…oh, and that one win would’ve also done me a few favors in regards to the Legacy Championship, meaning that there was the possibility of me holding two titles at the same time regardless of my choice. Not that I want to be presumptuous, of course…

The tone of Bisley’s voice suggests that, yes, he does want to be presumptuous

Mark Bisley: So my plans got ruined all because Logan Alexander is still in denial that his legacy will always be the weak link in a tag team, a legacy made abundantly clear by the way he was kicked to the kerb, and I’m sure this little fact does not and never will get under Mr Alexander’s skin no matter how much he relies on his hype man to tell him otherwise. Now, for some people that would be an excuse to get angry, to spew fire and brimstone at the other person, to plot the demise of the person who cost them so much if not literally then at the very least to destroy any chances of that person being seen as anything other than a walking piñata anytime in the near future. I’m reasonably sure there’s at least half a dozen people who have said such things this weekend, and that’s just my conservative estimate. However, that isn’t for me, because I have a much better form of revenge in mind…

Instead of saying what that form of revenge might be as soon as he’s set it up, instead Bisley stretches out his hands in front of him so he can crack his knuckles, and when he’s good and comfortable he decides it’s time to let the good people watching in on his plan

Mark Bisley: …I’m simply going to do what my plan was all along and have one title across my left shoulder, and one title across my right shoulder

The pause that Bisley takes after saying this is the most “Well duh…” that silence can possibly be

Mark Bisley: My plan was to try and hold two titles at once, with one shoulder reserved for the Legacy Championship while the other would be whichever of the 15 Championship or the US Championship that I decided to hold onto after reaching the necessary number of title defenses where I would have a difficult yet very pleasant choice to make, so while plans have changed somewhat they also have not, because I can walk out of tonight with one title on each shoulder and go back to doing what I was doing in the first place, now with the added caveat that I can once again build up the required number of wins to once again find myself weighing up the 15 Championship or the US Championship – but this time, as I will have been a two-time 15 Champion, the decision gets a little bit easier, doesn’t it? So while there is no denying that the journey took a bit of an odd route, there is also no denying that I can make sure the destination is exactly the same, and that certainly sounds like a good starting point for any legacy when I can say that I won two titles on the same night and did so by simply being better than the two opponents who were in the ring with me. But don’t worry, Logan and Sparrow, you’ll both have a legacy too – because footnotes are an all-important part of any autobiography.

Without any music or fanfare, Logan strides out from the entryway, dressed to compete, with Theodore Harris walking along beside and half a step behind him. Logan’s gaze remains locked on the ring while Theodore looks around the arena and at the assembled crowd as they walk down the entry ramp to the ringside area.

Logan leads the way over to the nearest set of ringsteps, climbs up them to the ring apron and then into the ring. Theodore meanwhile walks around the ring towards the opposite corner of the ring with the other set of ringsteps.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is a Two Falls Match for the FGA 15 and 15 Legacy Champions! Introducing the challengers! First, hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada! Weighing in at 227 pounds… LOGAN ALEXANDER!

Logan walks across the ring to the opposite corner, turns around and leans back against the turnbuckles, draping his arms on the top rope on either side of him. Theodore climbs up the ringsteps behind Logan, stepping onto the ring apron behind him. He leans in close talking softly to Logan, who merely nods slightly in response to whatever is being said.

Kris Cruise: Theodore Harris did a great job recapping just why this is the biggest night in Logan FGA’s career. Him coming up short in the Frontier Lions Cup, the fact that All-Star Showdown has not been kind to Logan… Might Sparrow eliminating him in both the Battle Royal for the #15 spot and n the Gold Rush Rumble… Mark Bisley’s victories over him in the past. Logan Alexander is one of the game’s greats. He’s had a storied career. But it’s been a LONG, storied career.

Stephy Auger: LONG is right, Cruise. He’s long in the tooth. This might be IT for the Canadian!

Theodore then steps back and descends the stairs back to the ringside mats. Logan fixes his gaze on the entryway, waiting for his opponent’s arrival.

The arena lights dim to almost pitch blackness, save for a couple of blue lights that pulse in sync with the intro to "Storms End" that is rising in pitch and intensity until the main hook burst forth and, at that very second, the ramp is bathed in blue light as Mark Bisley strides onto the ramp with his head bowed and an arm raised before he comes to a stop on the ramp and raises his head to survey the arena wearing one hell of a self-satisfied smirk upon his face.

Keeping his arm raised as he makes his way down the ramp, Bisley walks at his own pace as he confidently walks to the ring at his own pace right up until he reaches the ringside area, and once he reaches the ringside area he lowers his arm and breaks into a short dash to give him the momentum to hop onto the ring apron where he crouches for a moment and taps the side of his head a couple of times to the song's beat before he rolls backwards into the ring and quickly gets back to his feet.

J.A. Aldridge: His opponent, hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota! Weighing in at 201 pounds… MARK BISLEY!

Once he's got to his feet Bisley makes his way to the nearest corner and climbs the nearest turnbuckles where he stands with one foot on the top rope and his arms held out wide as he slowly tilts his head back for a few seconds until he turns his head and peers back into the ring and climbs down, removing the towel from around his shoulders the second his feet touch the canvas and casually tossing it in the referee's direction as he takes a few steps forward so he's standing in the centre of the ring where he drops to a knee and runs his hand on the canvas to say one thing: this is my ring.

Kris Cruise: Mark Bisley was THIS close to becoming a double champion. He was one victory away from cashing in that 15 Championship for a shot at the United States Champion. But it was Mighty Sparrow that foiled his plans, ended his reign and became the double champion. It was Mighty Sparrow that made history instead of Bisley. You know that’s driving Bisley up a wall.

Stephy Auger: Absolutely. If someone stole my shot at history, I’d be upset, too. Bisley should be the double champion. Worst case scenario, Bisley should have gotten a one on one match with Sparrow tonight.

Kris Cruise: Well, to be fair, Theodore Harris made a great point. It’s Mark Bisley that inadvertently caused this Two Falls Match. If it weren't for Bisley and his meddling, Sparrow would have likely been defending his championships against Logan Alexander and Bisley in individual matches. But thanks to his actions, Bisley is facing a scenario where he could walk out of here with nothing, which is exactly what happened the last time he faced off against Mighty Sparrow.

Stephy Auger: Don’t try and speak that into existence, Cruise. Bisley will get everything he deserves tonight.

From the entrance to the ring, Mighty Sparrow appears through the curtain, championship belts around his waist. He gets in some last minute leg stretches before the West Indian Whirlwind begins high-fiving fans on his way down the ramp. He gets to the outside of the ring as “Gold Watch” continues playing before he jumps and lands on the apron. With a second jump he clears the ring ropes before taking off for the farthest turnbuckle. He springs onto the second rope turnbuckle, executing a backflip and lands on his feet. He does sliding motion on his heel before turning and striking a pose to the cheers of the crowd. He throws his hat into the audience for more of a raucous.

J.A. Aldridge: Their opponent, hailing from South Oropouche, Trinidad! Weighing in at 205 pounds! He is the reigning… defending… FGA 15 and FGA Legacy Champion! He is “The West Indian Whirlwind”... MIGHTY SPARROW!

“Yeah yeah, them niggas over there, it’s just,
Yeah, yeah, now look at what I wear!
Got my, gold watch and my, gold chain,
With my, fancy car and my diamond ring!”

Sparrow leans up against his corner after handing his championships to the ref. He talks a few seconds with the referee before looking out to the crowd. He mouths a few of Lupe’s lyrics to himself casually and takes one last glance about. Sparrow grabs the ropes in his corner, again with a few last second leg stretches before he is ready to go.

Kris Cruise: Mighty Sparrow made history by becoming only the fifth double champion in this company’s rich history. Tonight, he walks into the first ever Two Falls Match in FGA history. Both of his champions are on the line. He could walk out the same way he came in. He could leave with only one of those titles. Or he could leave completely empty handed.

Stephy Auger: Well if Tweety Bird over there listens to the sage advice of Caroline Dallins, then he’ll have nothing to worry about. But if he wants to defy her, get in her face and act like he knows better, then he will be leaving here with nothing. Do you know how many grapplers would kill to have Killer C in their corner? He should be on his hands and knees thanking her!

Kris Cruise: I just want to remind the fans that even though both of Sparrow’s titles are on the line, his 15 Championship will be determined by the first fall. Which means that the first portion of this match will have a 15 minute time limit.

The bell sounds as Bisley gets in the faces of both Alexander and Sparrow. The New Ace continues to give them both a piece of his mind until Alexander drops him with a right hand!

Kris Cruise: Bisley got caught right in the mouth!

Bisley returns to his feet before Sparrow returns him to the mat with a punch of his own!

Stephy Auger: They’re both targeting Bisley! They’re acting like he’s the one walking into this match with two titles!

Kris Cruise: Once again, Bisley brought this on himself!

Once Bisley gets back up, Alexander delivers a blistering knife edge chop. Sparrow then heads over and delivers a chop of his own that knocks Bisley back. The cheers continue as Alexander delivers a knife edge chop that knocks Bisley against the ropes. Sparrow heads over, hooks Bisley’s arms around the top rope and unleashes a knife edge chop that echoes throughout the arena. Bisley howls in pain after Alexander heads over and delivers another hard chop. Sparrow delivers another knife edge chop that echoes throughout the arena. Alexander then delivers another chop of his own that echoes throughout the arena. Alexander pulls Bisley away from the ropes before dropping him to a knee with a step-up enzuigiri. Kris Cruise: These two are trying to one up each other.

While Bisley’s on the mat, Bisley and Alexander stare each other down. The two exchange words until Bisley scrambles back to his feet. Bisley gives his opponents a piece of his mind until Alexander drops him to the mat with a superkick! Sparrow then pulls Bisley back to his feet before sending him for the ride. When Bisley returns, Sparrow knocks him down with a falling crescent kick. The double champion then runs over and wraps up Alexander with a wheelbarrow victory roll.

Theodore Harris heads over and claps for Alexander while he gives his client some words of encouragement. Alexander stars to slowly pick himself up off the floor while Bisley takes off into the far ropes. The Smartest Guy in the Room comes off the ropes, runs back across the ring and leans through the ropes before knocking Alexander down with a suicide dive!

Bisley leaps up to the apron and waits patiently for Sparrow to get into position. Once Sparrow returns to his feet and turns around, Bisley knocks him down with a springboard lariat! He makes the cover.

The boos continue as Bisley delivers the Iko Uwais (cravat with repeated knees to the head) before bringing him down with Greetings from the Twin Cities (hangman's neckbreaker over the knee)! Bisley takes Sparrow, moves him into the corner and unleashes the Minnesota Buzzsaw (repeated shoot kicks to a cornered opponent's chest)! Sparrow is then whipped into the far corner. Bisley runs across the ring to attack until Sparrow knocks him back with a back elbow to the face. After Bisley runs back in and gets caught with another back elbow, Sparrow hoists himself up to the middle ropes, grabs Bisley and plants him with a Tornado DDT! NO! Bisley pushes him off mid-turn. Bisley runs over to attack, but Sparrow counters with a falling crescent kick. NO! Bisley catches his leg and counters with a dragon screw leg whip. Bisley quickly follows up with a KneeDT (Foot DDT)! He makes his way back to his feet before giving Sparrow a second KneeDT! Bisley goes for a figure four leg lock, but Sparrow is able to push him off mid turn. The push sends Bisley staggering over towards Alexander, who brings him down with the Chaotic Impact (STO)! He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: All three grapplers want to leave with something. Unfortunately, at least one of them is guaranteed to leave with nothing.

Alexander takes Bisley, turns and chucks him through the ropes to the apron. He then heads over to Sparrow and knocks him back with a palm thrust. Another palm thrust catches Sparrow across the jaw before an irish whip sends him into the ropes. Alexander sets up for a back body drop off the return until Sparrow slips down from behind. After being placed in a rear waistlock, Alexander runs forward, wraps his arms around the top rope and yanks back, sending Sparrow down to the mat. Sparrow rolls back to his feet, runs over to attack Alexander and gets dumped over the top rope. Sparrow lands safely on the apron before knocking Alexander back with a rope-assisted gamengiri. The West Indian Whirlwind turns to Bisley on the apron and catches him with a forearm strike. Bisley answers back with a forearm of his own. Sparrow nails Bisley with another forearm strike. Bisley answers back with another forearm of his own. Sparrow goes for a front kick to the face. Bisley catches his foot, throws the leg down and nails Sparrow with another forearm smash. After nailing Sparrow with rapid fire elbow strikes, he quickly takes control of Sparrow’s back. The crowd gasps as Bisley tries to throw him off the apron with a release German Suplex! Sparrow blocks by wrapping his arms around the top rope. Bisley tries to throw him off the apron with another release German attempt. But again, Sparrow hangs onto the top rope. Bisley then lets go of the rear waist lock and delivers repeated clubbing strikes cross the back of the neck. He applies another rear waistlock before going for another release German. Sparrow blocks by reaching out and grabbing onto the top rope with both hands! Bisley continues to try and launch Sparrow off the apron with the German until Alexander runs over to attack. Alexander leaps through the ropes with a spear, sending all three of them crashing hard to the floor!

After the second German, Alexander goes for a third until Bisley counters with a back elbow to the face. Alexander gets caught with a second elbow. Bisley connects with a third before performing a standing switch and bringing him down with the Alexander-Killer Combo (two rolling German suplexes followed by a release Dragon suplex)! Bisley goes for the release Dragon Suplex when Alexander breaks the hooks from behind, catches Bisley with a back elbow of his own, performs a standing switch and follows up with another Chaotic Repeater!

Kris Cruise: Alexander is on fire right now!

Stephy Auger: We could have a new 15 Champ right here!

Alexander’s about to go for a fifth German when Sparrow leaps into the frame and drives both of them down with The Notorious K.I.C.K. (Standing Double Foot Stomp) on Bisley!

Kris Cruise: THE NOTORIOUS K.I.C.K. OUT OF NOWHERE FROM MIGHTY SPARROW! WHAT A MANEUVER! WHAT A COUNTER FROM THE CHAMPION!

Sparrow rolls Bisley off Alexander before dragging Alexander over towards the corner. The cheers continue while Sparrow steps out to the apron and scales the turnbuckles.

Kris Cruise: Sparrow’s going to put Alexander away!

Stephy Auger: Get up, Logan!

Sparrow rises up from a crouched position on the top turnbuckle, leaps off and squashes Alexander with The Notorious K.I.C.K. II (Top Rope Double Foot Stomp)! He rolls off Alexander, crawls back over and makes the cover.

“Gold Watch” cuts off while Sparrow quickly motions for the ref to get back down to start the count. He then drops back down into another lateral press on Alexander.

Kris Cruise: Sparrow wasted no time immediately going for another pin attempt.

Stephy Auger: That’s right. There’s no mandatory rest period like in those Pride Rules matches. Sparrow was alert and on top of his game. That’s a credit to Caroline Dallins at ringside because if she wasn’t out there, you know Sparrow would still be busy playing up to the fans.

Sparrow picks up Alexander and throws him down with a scoop slam before stepping back down to the apron. The West Indian Whirlwind scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off for another Notorious Kick II and misses when Alexander rolls out of the way! Sparrow’s momentum sends him rolling forward on the mat. Sparrow rolls back to his feet before immediately getting thrown back down with a bridging Northern Lights Suplex from Bisley.

Bisley takes Sparrow and sets up for an irish whip. Sparrow reverses, sending Bisley into the ropes. Kris Cruise: Good Lord! Right onto the hardest part on the ring!

Bisley climbs back up to the apron before scaling the turnbuckles. Once Alexander gets back to a vertical base and turns around, Bisley leaps off and connects with a missile dropkick, sending Alexander stumbling back before falling through the ropes to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Alexander’s been sent back to the outside. What’s Bisley setting up for here?

Bisley starts bouncing off the near ropes. He picks up speed as he runs back across the ring. Bisley then leaps through the ropes before knocking Sparrow down with a suicide dive! He then rolls back inside, runs back across the ring and springboards to the top rope before flipping off and knocking Alexander down with the Highlight of the Night (shooting star plancha)!

Kris Cruise: Mark Bisley is on fire!

Stephy Auger: He’s hitting everything that moves!

Bisley takes Alexander and rolls him back inside. After climbing up to the apron, Bisley scales back to the top turnbuckle, leaps off for the Sapienza (frog splash to the opponent's legs) and misses when Alexander rolls out of the way!

Kris Cruise: Alexander got out of the way in the nick of time!

Stephy Auger: Bisley was trying to soften up those legs for that cloverleaf.

Bisley gets up on all fours until Alexander goes over and pulls him back to his feet from behind. Alexander follows up with the Chaotic Repeater! After a fifth German, Alexander turns over, pulls Bisley back to his feet, turns him around, doubles him over with a boot to the midsection and plants him with the Chaotic Shockwave (Implant DDT)! He makes the cover.

Alexander continues to apply pressure until Sparrow flies into the frame with a springboard diving sidekick to the face, breaking the hold!

Kris Cruise: Sparrow with the timely save! He’s keeping one of his titles after gaining the first fall. But the West Indian Whirlwind wants to walk out of here the same way he walked in.

Alexander gets sent for the ride. When he returns, Sparrow knocks him down with a falling crescent kick. He then whips Alexander into the corner before running over and throwing him down with a monkey flip. Sparrow steps out to the apron before waving Alexander up. Once Alexander returns to a vertical base, Sparrow springboards to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and brings him down with a diving crossbody!

Alexander rolls through the diving crossbody, keeps Sparrow is his grasps as he returns to his feet and then hoists him up across his shoulders! He’s got Sparrow set up for a fireman’s carry maneuver until Sparrow counters with elbows to the side of the head. He then slips down from behind before bringing Alexander down with a Tiger Suplex!

Sparrow gets back to his feet and limps over to Bisley before getting caught with a rolling solebutt to the midsection. Bisley brings the action into the corner before slamming Sparrow face-first into the top turnbuckle over and over. Sparrow is then lifted up onto the middle ropes before Bisley steps back out the apron. Bisley climbs up, grabs Sparrow, flips back and brings him down with the Move of the Year (Shiranui) off the top turnbuckle! The boos continue as he makes the cover.

After a rolling solebutt doubles him over, Bisley lifts him up across his shoulder before bringing him down with Blind Destiny (Canadian backbreaker rack dropped into double knee gutbuster)! Alexander turns over into the prone position before Bisley flips off the ropes and hits the Corazón de Zorro (lionsault to a face-down opponent's back)! He pushes Alexander over and makes the cover.

Bisley picks up Alexander and takes control of his back until Alexander counters with a back elbow to the face. He performs a standing switch before pushing Bisley into the ropes. When Bisley returns, he gets brought down with a Codebreaker!

Alexander goes over, takes Sparrow and whips him into the ropes. When Sparrow returns, he gets brought down with a Codebreaker! NO! Sparrow counters, turns Alexander over into the prone position and places him in an Inverted Sharpshooter!

Kris Cruise: Sparrow’s got Alexander in his own hold! Talk about getting a taste of your own medicine!

Stephy Auger: He can’t do that!

Kris Cruise: Yes he can! He’s doing it right now! Alexander is trapped in the Perfect Chaos Theory! I never thought I’d see the day! Will Alexander submit to his own hold!? Sparrow could be seconds away from retaining his Legacy Championship!?

Alexander yells out in pain while Sparrow applies pressure. The ref asks him if he wants to give up. Alexander refuses. At the urging of Harris, Alexander starts to pull himself towards the side of the ring. Dallins and Harris are nearly side by side as they’re in Sparrow’s and Alexander’s direct lines of sight. Sparrow hangs on. He tries to get Alexander to tap. But Alexander is able to scratch and claw his way across the canvas. Dallins shakes her head once she sees Alexander get his hand on the bottom rope.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Sparrow breaks the hold.

Kris Cruise: Unreal!

Stephy Auger: Yeah, I can’t believe Sparrow failed to get the submission there, either!

Kris Cruise: What!?

Stephy Auger: If Killer C was in there, trust me, she would have gotten the job done. Hell, the job would have been done and over with by now!

Sparrow starts to pull Alexander up until Alexander catches him with a palm thrust. A second palm thrust knocks him back. After Sparrow gets rocked with a superkick, Alexander hits the ropes. Alexander returns and goes for an attack until Sparrow counters with the Leaf Hurricane (Counter Scorpion Kick followed by a Pele Kick)! A toe kick doubles Alexander over before a Switchblade Kick drops him to a knee. The cheers continue as Sparrow hits the ropes, returns and flattens Alexander with a front dropkick to the face! Sparrow rolls out to the apron, pulls himself up using the ropes and starts slapping away at the top turnbuckle.

Kris Cruise: He’s feeling it, Stephy!

Stephy Auger: Look! Look at the look that Dallins is giving Sparrow! Why is he wasting time playing up to these fans!? They won’t win you titles, but they will damn sure cost you titles! Stop showing off, climb to the top and put him away!

Sparrow springboards to the top turnbuckle, leaps off for a guillotine leg drop… and misses when Alexander rolls out of the way!

Stephy Auger: SEE!?

Alexander gets back to his feet before flipping over into a jackknife pin.

Kris Cruise: Logan’s done it!

The crowd boos as Harris takes the Legacy Championship and heads into the ring. After the ref signals to Alexander that he’s the winner of the second fall, Harris hands the championship over to Alexander. Alexander places the championship across left shoulder while Harris raises his right arm in victory.

J.A. Aldridge: The winner of the second fall and NEWWWWW FGA Legacy Champion, LOGAN ALEXANDER!

​​Kris Cruise: Logan Alexander has done it! He has earned himself his first singles championship here in FGA as he becomes the new Legacy Champion! Mighty Sparrow was in control at the end. But Alexander was able to turn the tables at the right moment and put him away. We’ve seen Alexander use Stryke Force from various angles to put opponents away in the past. He’s once again shown just how versatile that maneuver is here tonight.

Stephy Auger: Mighty Sparrow made a costly error. He got caught up in the moment. But when you’re a champion let alone a double champion, you have to stay present at all times. He got carried away playing up and listening to the fans and now look at him. He’s only leaving here with one title. But the biggest tragedy of all, Cruise, is that Mark Bisley leaves here with nothing. He’s not going to be happy about this. Not one bit.

[FGA Office]

The scene fades into the hallway right outside of the curtains where we see Ace Voltage walking with his Pride championship. He sees the cameras and know it’s time to shine.

Ace Voltage: Didn’t see ya there mates! Sneaking up on the champ, huh? Gotta keep my awareness up tonight. Because tonight, I FINALLY get Tyler Storm out of my life. I send Tyler Storm to the back of the line with all of the other peasants.

Ace slaps his championship that is around his waist.

Ace Voltage: The champ will reign supreme tonight. The Main Event shows everyone why he is royalty in FGA. Tonight, I will add another impressive title defense to my already impressive FGA résumé. You guys know what I’m talking about.

Ace laughs to himself.

Ace Voltage: See the thing is, I thrive in big matches. Big Match Acey, the Main Event, the greatest Mid-Atlantic Legacy champ of all time, whatever you want to call me! It’s just the same story over and over again. Do you get tired of it? Because I don’t. Winning is like a drug to me. And I plan on getting high tonight!

Ace takes the title off of his waist and puts it on his shoulder.


Ace Voltage: See this championship? The Pride championship? This title… this title will need to be taken from my unconscious hands. No pun intended, but I take pride in championships. I am a fighting champion. I am the people’s champion. The people want to see Tyler Storm tonight. I gave them the opportunity. But the thing is, the people will see Tyler Storm for what he really is. A fraud.

Ace takes the title and puts it closer to the camera.


Ace Voltage: Tyler is all talk. He can say whatever he wants to me, he can say whatever he wants tonight. But when he is in the ring with me again, he will be looking up at the lights as I walk away with this beauty around my waist once again. I’m all for second chances and sure maybe Tyler Storm deserves it. Maybe it will add some prestige to my title reign. But tonight, the Tyler Storm chapter in the memoir of Ace Voltage ends with a whimper.

Ace gets closer to the camera as he speaks to the fans directly.

Ace winks to the camera as he walks off and gets ready to go through the curtains for his match.

The camera fades in and we see a projector light up as the reel begins turning. What follows is a series of quick cuts featuring Julian Tijerina's past victories and accomplishments in FGA and beyond, with the commentary in fluent Spanish. We then see the back of his head as he watches this as well, fixated on his FGA 15 Championship victory.

Julian Tijerina: It was a big moment for me... The biggest back then. Winning my first championship in FGA, the FGA 15 Championship... It meant the world to me, el mundo.

He combs back his hair, scratches his chin, as more cuts and scenes are shown through the projector.

Julian Tijerina: Returning to FGA, having my first match since I disappeared into the ether, with a brilliant wrestler in Monty Margolis... Beating them in the middle of that ring? Derrotándolos uno-dos-tres? That reinvigorated my very soul, me trajo de vuelta a la vida. Monty was no slouch, I'll give them that, but at the end of the day, they were no "El Guapo."

We then see him face the camera, sitting on an expensive couch in an expensive room, alone but looking as handsome as ever.

Julian Tijerina: My second match back, a tag team match with the gorgeous Antoinette Sands against Sloan Talbot and Laura Perelli... Dos personas hermosas against two very good wrestlers... None of these athletes are a joke, they are so good at what they do, so when Sands and I won, reclamó la victoria, when I took out Perelli and got the win, that meant everything to me... That proved that I had not missed a step... That I still belonged...

He pauses, contemplating something, before looking straight at the camera and smirking.

Julian Tijerina: Sands, Talbot, Perelli, and of course, Tijerina... We all gave it our all in that match, and I have no regrets about what happened then. ​​The lights begin to slow fade out to the opening tunes of "Eye of the Tiger" before flashing quickly back on once the rifts of the guitar begin playing, along with being met with flashes of blue and gold light on the stage. Once the song picks up into its normal tune about 25 seconds in, Tyler Storm rushes out from behind the curtain to a positive pop, bobbing his head to the beat of the song and mouthing out to the fans.

Once the lyrics start, Tyler begins making his way down the ramp, walking along the left for the first half of his trek to the ring and high-fiving fans or talking with them, and doing the same in the second half of his walk on the right side. Before long he reaches ringside and after interacting with a few more people at ringside, he works his way up the stairs onto the ring apron. He rubs his feet off for a few moments, then gripping onto the top rope he jumps up and slides his legs in between the top and middle ropes and into the ring.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest, being fought under Pride Rules, is for the FGA PRIDE CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, the challenger! Hailing from Tuscaloosa, Alabama! Weighing in at 215 pounds… TYLER STORM!

The song goes on for a few more moments with Storm motioning out to the crowd for a reaction before rushing to one side of the ring just as the drawn out "Eye of the Tiger" lyric hits, landing his right foot on the bottom rope and his left on the middle rope with his arms spread out open with the audience cheering. He then hops back off the ropes and walks over to his corner as the music fades.

Kris Cruise: Tyler Storm and Ace Voltage have been at odds for the better part of 2021 over the Pride Championship. Tyler’s second reign as Pride Champion went much better than his first. He joined exclusive company as one of only a select few to have held that championship on two occasions. He established himself as one of the best in FGA. Despite all the signs in the world to do the opposite, he showed Ace Voltage respect. But that respect was not returned. Ace Voltage is a good wrestler, Stephy. But he lacks class and his words and actions toward Tyler Storm as of late have reaffirmed that thought.

Stephy Auger: Ace Voltage gets the job done, pure and simple. He’s not trying to be a boy scout like Tyler Storm. He’s trying to be a winner and that’s exactly what he was the last time they fought over the Pride Championship. Tyler likes to think that if he managed his rope breaks better, he would have survived The London Special. But Ace has submitted everyone he’s applied that move to and Tyler would have been no different, rope break or no rope break. The Main Event of FGA finishes this rivalry, once and for all, with a win tonight.

The arena goes dark and "Thunderstruck by AC/DC starts blaring over the sound system. As the words "THUNDER" are shouted into the arena each time, the lights flash yellow.

I WAS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A RAILROAD TRACK

A white spotlight shines on the ramp and Ace Voltage appears once the lyrics start. He is wearing a black jacket with his name on the back and his light blue tights. He shines a smirk to the crowd, zips open the jacket to show his shiny championship around his waist as the rest of the lights come on, with yellow and blue lighting flashing around. He walks down the ramp, nodding his head to the music, laughing to himself when he hears the boos and insults from the crowd. As he's going down the entrance ramp, he walks close to the guardrail ready to slap the hands of the one or two fans. Before he can slap their hands, he quickly rips his hands away, smirks to the booing fans and walks down to the ring.

J.A. Aldridge: His opponent, hailing from London, England! Weighing in at 15.8 stone! He is the reigning… defending… FGA Pride Champion… ACE VOLTAGE!

He jumps up onto the apron and steps into the ring. He walks to the corner, jumping on the second rope, looking out into the crowd. He raises his championship in the air, smirking and yelling to the fans, "I am the Main Event." After a few seconds, he jumps down, takes his jacket off and waits for the match to start.

Kris Cruise: Ace Voltage has been on a run as of late. He defeated Tyler Storm at Only the Strong Survive to win the Pride Championship. This six person pairing of him, Cordy Stevenson and Owen Gonsalves were victorious over Mighty Sparrow and the Renegades of Funk. He was even able to defeat Chandler Scott, with Cordy’s help, on the last Vertigo. Can he sustain that momentum against a motivated Tyler Storm here tonight?

Stephy Auger: Of course he can! They don’t call him Main Even Acey for nothing!

Kris Cruise: No one calls him “Main Event Acey.”

Stephy Auger: Well that’s what I’m going to start calling him because whenever he shows up, he’s the main event. He’s the one that has all the eyes on him. People on both sides of the aisle, from Lowri Moss to Savannah Taylor, thought that Acey was all talk. But time and time again, he’s proven himself. He proved that he was the greatest Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion in company history. If you ask me, he’s well on his way to becoming the best Pride Champion in company history.

Kris Cruise: The man hasn’t even defended the title yet.

Stephy Auger: I said what I said!

Kris Cruise: …

Stephy Auger: The only hurdle that he’s got to get over is Tyler Storm. I’ll give Storm his credit. He’s good. But he’s not good enough. He isn’t cutthroat. He isn’t able to push himself to his limits.

Kris Cruise: What are you talking about? This is a man that was so hellbent on winning the Pride Championship that he delivered a superplex to Seth Iser to the floor! That moved messed up his back for months. That’s how badly he wanted it.

Stephy Auger: I’m glad that you reminded me of that. What’s tonight’s show? All-Star Showdown X. Need I remind you that Tyler Str failed to beat Fujiko Mine for the Pride Championship at All-Star Showdown VII? Need I remind you that he failed to beat Seth Iser for the Pride Championship at All-Star Showdown VIII? This event has not been kind for Storm.

Kris Cruise: I see you conveniently left out the fact that he successfully defended the Pride Championship against Marlon Cure at All-Star Showdown IX!

Stephy Auger: …

Kris Cruise: He’s had some tough losses at this event. No one knows that more than him. Which is why it is of the utmost importance that he comes through and win here tonight. This thing between him and Ace has gone on for long enough. They each have wins over each other and now, right here tonight, it’s time to settle this score and close the chapter on this rivalry.

PRIDE RULES
1) No closed fists to the head. Pokes, gouges, rakes and other illegal strikes to the eyes are also prohibited. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning, then a rope break being taken away. However, slaps, chops and kicks to the head are all legal.

2) Grapplers are allowed three rope breaks per match. If all three rope breaks are used, then a pinfall or submission cannot be broken up by a rope break.

3) Grapplers, no matter how much animosity is between them, must shake hands at the start of the match or be charged a rope break.

4) All matches fought under "Pride Rules" will have a 20-count.

5) Finally, all "Pride Rules" matches will be contested under Best 2 out of 3 Falls.

The crowd erupts with boos when Voltage puts his hand out to Storm. Voltage smirks as he knows that if Storm doesn't accept the handshake, he'll get docked a rope break.

Kris Cruise: Tyler needs to swallow his pride and shake Ace’s hand. It’s not worth losing the rope break.

Stephy Auger: Especially since Tyler clearly doesn’t know how to manage them!

Kris Cruise: …

Voltage taunts Storm and tells him to shake his hand. Storm just narrows his eyes at the champion.

Kris Cruise: Don’t do it, Tyler. Don’t take the bait.

The official encourages Storm to shake Voltage's hand. He's quick to remind Storm of what will happen if he doesn't. Storm places his hands on his hips as he looks out to the crowd.

Stephy Auger: Look at this, Cruise. Some of these idiots are telling him not to shake Ace’s hand! What did I tell you? These fans won’t help you win matches. But they’ll damn sure help you lose them. If Tyler listens to them, he’ll end up being down a rope break already!

Voltage can be seen telling the ref to dock Storm the rope break. But before the ref makes a decision, Storm heads back over to Voltage and gives him a strong, firm handshake.

Kris Cruise: There you go, Tyler!

The ref gestures the handshake between the two grapplers before calling for the bell. Voltage goes to walk off, but Storm doesn't let go of the hand.

Stephy Auger: Hey! HEY!

When Voltage slowly looks back, Storm yanks him over into a forearm strike to the face! The cheers continue when Storm nails Voltage with another forearm strike. Storm fires off four more forearms before dropping Voltage with a Discus Forearm!. He drops down for the cover.

Kris Cruise: Tyler struck early and often to get the first nearfall!

Stephy Auger: Struck early and often? You mean he sucker punched Acey!

Storm takes Voltage and moves him into the corner before delivering a hard irish whip into the far corner. Voltage staggers out of the corner until Storm throws him down with a back body drop. Storm pulls Voltage back up before whipping him into the far ropes. When Voltage returns, Storm knocks him off his feet with a jumping knee strike! He makes the cover.

Storm takes Voltage and sends him for the ride. Voltage returns off the rebound before getting caught in a Sleeper Hold.

Kris Cruise: Tyler got’s a submission locked on already!

Stephy Auger: Get to the ropes, Acey!

Storm tries to put Voltage to sleep, but Voltage reaches back, grabs Storm by the head and counters with a sitout jawbreaker.

Stephy Auger: What a counter, Cruise. What a counter!

Kris Cruise: … it was just a jawbrea-

Stephy Auger: Did it break the submission or not?

Kris Cruise: …

Storm stumbles back while Voltage gets back to his feet. The Champion charges over to attack until Storm ducks and dumps him over the top rope. Instead of crashing to the floor, Voltage lands safely on the apron before catching Storm when he turns around with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. Voltage runs across the apron before climbing the turnbuckles.

Kris Cruise: Ace is heading up to the high rent district…

As soon as Voltage gets one foot on the top turnbuckle, Storm runs over, jumps up to the middle ropes and catches Voltage with a punch to the midsection. After a second punch to the midsection lands, Storm fires off three forearm strikes to the face. He then grabs a hold of the champion and motions for a superplex.

Kris Cruise: We’ve seen Tyler hit this before!

Storm goes for the superplex, but Voltage counters by using his free hand to grab onto the top turnbuckle hook. Storm tries for another superplex. But again, Voltage blocks the move. He then catches Storm with a couple of shots to the midsection. The crowd boos after an eye rake before Voltage shoves Storm down to the mat.

Kris Cruise: Oh come on! Where’s the warning, ref!?

Stephy Auger: Warning? For what? All I saw was Tyler get pushed down to the mat!

Kris Cruise: …

While Storm remains on the mat, Voltage stands fully up onto the top turnbuckle.

Stephy Auger: Crush him, Acey! Get this first fall out of the way and put all the pressure of Tyler Storm!

Voltage raises his arms in the air before flipping off for High Voltage (450 Splash)! The crowd gasps, then cheers when Storm gets his knees up.

Kris Cruise: Storm countered! He got the knees up in time!

Stephy Auger: GAH!

Voltage bounces off Storm's knees before rolling across the ring. He tries to scramble back to his feet, but he ends up clutching his midsection as he drops back down to a knee.

Kris Cruise: Ace is hurt! He could have broken a rib or two!

Stephy Auger: He better not have!

Storm slowly turns over to a knee before getting back to his feet. He then runs over to Voltage and nails him as he tries to get back up with a bicycle kick to the side of the head! The crowd cheers as Voltage stumbles to the side before slipping through the ropes to the floor.

Storm rolls to the outside. He then picks up Voltage and slams him face-first onto the apron before pushing him back inside. Storm slides back in, pulls Voltage back up and whips him into the ropes. The crowd cheers when Storm catches him off the rebound in another Sleeper.

Stephy Auger: Not again!

Kris Cruise: It could be Night Night for the reigning Pride Champion!

Voltage can be seen flailing his arms as Storm clamps down on the Sleeper. The ref asks him if he wants to give up. Voltage refuses. He then tries to reach out and grab the official. But the ref is smart enough to stay out of arm's reach. Voltage then reaches out to his right, but he's nowhere near the ropes. He then reaches out to his left. Again, he's nowhere near the ropes.

Kris Cruise: Panic is starting to set in for the Pride Champion! He’s got nowhere to go!

Stephy Auger: Acey, please!

The ref checks in with Voltage again. Voltage refuses. Voltage reaches up, grabs Storm's arm and tries to throw Storm off his back. But Storm hangs on. Voltage tries to throw him off again. Voltage still can't break free. So he leans forward and fully lifts Storm up onto his back. Voltage reaches back, hooks his arms around Voltage's legs and jumps back, squashing Storm on the mat to break the hold. The crowd boos when Voltage sits up and laughs.

Stephy Auger: Ha! You people thought Ace was done! Well, he sure showed you!

Voltage returns to a vertical base and circles Storm before delivering a stomp to the right shoulder. He then delivers a stomp to the right thigh, right knee, left ankle, left thigh and left bicep. Voltage goes to follow up with a jumping stomp to the face, but Storm reaches up and catches his foot in time.

Kris Cruise: Uh oh.

Storm maintains hold of the foot as he gets back to his feet. Voltage hops on one leg until Storm swings the leg away from him and counters with an atomic drop. The cheers continue when Storm spins Voltage towards him and follows up with an inverted atomic drop. Storm then hist the ropes, returns and brings him down with a Sling Blade! He makes the cover.

Storm takes Voltage and whips him hard into the corner. Storm sets up for a rebound until Voltage grabs him, lifts him up and plants him with the Cradle DDT!

Stephy Auger: There you go!

The boos continue as Voltage heads out to the apron before scaling the turnbuckles.

Stephy Auger: Keep climbing, Acey! Put him away!

Once Voltage reaches the top, he flips off for High Voltage! The crowd gasps, then cheers when Storm rolls out of the way in time!

Kris Cruise: The pool was empty on that one, Stephy!

Stephy Auger: NOOOO! NO NO NOOOOO!

Storm pushes Voltage over onto his back and makes the cover.

The crowd sighs when Voltage gets his foot on the bottom rope.

Storm takes Voltage, pulls him into the corner and brings him down with a Tornado DDT! He makes the cover.

Storm picks up Voltage and doubles him over with a boot to the midsection before hitting the ropes. The cheers continue when Voltage gets knocked down with a Scissors Kick to the back of the neck. He then pulls Voltage over onto his back and makes the cover.

The crowd boos when Voltage gets the shoulder up.

Kris Cruise: I’ll give Ace this much. He’s kicking out of everything that Storm is throwing at him. But I don’t know how much longer Ace can keep this up for. Tyler Storm is starting to really pour it on!

Storm picks up Voltage, delivers an irish whip, follows him across the ring and nails him with a running European Uppercut. Storm runs across the ring, bounces out of the corner, charging back across the ring and nails him with another running European Uppercut. Storm heads back across the ring, ricochets out of the corner, charges back over and blasts him with another running European Uppercut. Voltage is seen slumping down in the corner.

Stephy Auger: Acey doesn’t deserve this!
Kris Cruise: Would you stop calling him that!?

Storm lifts up a finger to the crowd.

Kris Cruise: Tyler wants one more!

Storm reaches down and pulls Voltage up in the corner before taking off into the far corner. But unbeknownst to him, Voltage is running right behind him! As soon as Storm goes to bounce off the turnbuckle, Voltage blasts him with Thunderstruck (Helluva Kick)!

Stephy Auger: YES! YES! YES! YES YES!

Storm crumbles out of the corner before Voltage makes the cover.

The crowd gasps, then cheers when Storm reaches out and grabs the bottom rope.

Stephy Auger: WHAT!?

Kris Cruise: Tyler broke the pin! He grabbed the bottom rope just in time! I thought Ace had him!

Voltage picks up Storm and whips him into the far corner. He then runs across the ring before blasting Storm with a second Thunderstruck! Storm crumbles out of the corner before Voltage makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Ace Voltage picks up the first fall in this Pride Championship match! Now, all of the pressure is on Tyler Storm. He has to win these next two falls to win back the Pride Championship. What do you think, Stephy?

Stephy Auger: I think it’s over, Cruise. It’s very rare that you see a Pride Rules match end 2-0. But I think tonight is about to be one of those nights. Think about it if you’re Tyler Storm. You had all the momentum. You were beating Ace Voltage from pillar to post. You took your eye off the ball for one second to play to the crowd and BOOM, Thunderstruck, One-Two-Three. It didn’t just put his lights out, Cruise, but it knocked the fire and the fight out of him.

The bell sounds once the mandatory rest period ends. Voltage can be seen waiting impatiently in the far corner while Storm struggles to pull himself up using the ropes. Once Storm turns around, Voltage charges across the ring and throws out a third Thunderstruck! The crowd cheers when Storm gets his hands up in time to catch the foot before shoving Voltage down to the mat. As Voltage rolls back to his feet, Storm runs over and throws out another bicycle kick to the face. This time, Voltage catches the foot, swings the leg away from him and follows up with three rolling German Suplexes! While keeping the rear waist lock applied, Voltage turns over, pulls Storm back to his feet and muscles him down to the mat before applying the Crossface!

Kris Cruise: The London Special!

Stephy Auger: It’s all over now, Cruise! It’s been real, Tyler!

The crowd boos while Storm yells out in pain. The ref gets down and asks him if he wants to give up. The challenger refuses.

Kris Cruise: The last time we saw Tyler Storm locked in this hold, he gave up!

Stephy Auger: Yeah and he’s going to give up again!

Voltage can be seen yelling at Storm to give up. But Storm won’t give into his demands. Storm reaches out for the ropes, but he’s nowhere near them. The ref continues to check in with Storm and asks him again if he wants to give up. Storm refuses. Voltage then starts to pull back on the hold.

Kris Cruise: Tyler appears to be in excruciating pain!

Stephy Auger: Just give up, Tyler!

The ref checks back in with Storm and asks him if he wants to give up. Storm wags his finger at him. So Voltage starts to repeatedly yank back on the hold!

Kris Cruise: Ace is fighting like hell for the submission! He wants to end this thing now!

Storm yells out in pain while he remains trapped in the hold. But he doesn’t give up. After turning down another chance to quit, Storm reaches out with his free arm and slowly pulls himself forward across the mat. Storm reaches out as he drags himself across the mat again. He continues to grunt and groan as he tries to make his escape towards the ropes. Voltage can be seen shaking his head in disbelief as Storm scratches and claws his way across the canvas! Storm continues to pull himself more and more towards the side of the ring. He slowly reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope, forcing a rope break!

Kris Cruise: TYLER WOULDN’T BE DENIED! HE MADE IT! HE MADE IT TO THE ROPES!

Stephy Auger: NO! Dammit!

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Voltage breaks the hold, rolls across Storm’s back, grabs the ankle, drags him back over towards the center of the ring and and reapplies The London Special! An audible groan comes from the crowd.

Kris Cruise: OH NO!

Stephy Auger: OH YEAH!

Storm yells out in pain while he’s trapped in the submission. The ref gets down and asks him if he wants to give up. Storm refuses. So Voltage pulls back on the hold. He yells at Storm to tap. But Storm won’t quit. Voltage then repeatedly yanks back on the hold. Storm is seen reaching out for the ropes. But he can’t quite reach them. So he starts to slowly pull himself over to the right. Storm lets out another labored grunt as he slowly pulls himself to the right again. Voltage is fighting for the submission while Storm continues to drag himself across the canvas. The crowd gasps when he reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope!

Kris Cruise: TYLER GOT TO THE ROPES AGAIN! THAT’S TWICE NOW THAT THE LONDON SPECIAL HAS FAILED TO PUT TYLER STORM AWAY!

Stephy Auger: THAT SON OF A… DAMMIT!

Kris Cruise: Storm made it to the ropes, but at what cost? That was his third and last rope break! He used the bottom rope once to break a pinfall, then he just did it twice to escape the submission.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Voltage lets go and drags Storm back over towards the center of the ring. He goes to reapply The London Special, but Storm turns over onto his back and knocks him down with a double up kick to the chest.

Both grapples return to a vertical base until Storm tackles Voltage down with a double leg before turning him over into the Texas Cloverleaf!

Stephy Auger: NO NO NO!

Voltage cries out in pain while Storm pulls back on the hold. The ref gets down and asks Voltage if he wants to give up. He shakes his head ‘no.’ The champion continues to cry out in pain while Storm keeps him trapped in the submission. The ref asks Voltage if he wants to give up. Voltage refuses. The crowd starts to get on Voltage and tries to get him to quit.

“TAP!”

Stephy Auger: Listen to this capacity crowd! They’re cheering at the top of their lungs for RM Tapp!

Kris Cruise: They are not!

Voltage cries out in pain as he slowly pulls himself forward. The champion groans as he slowly drags himself across the mat again. Voltage continues his arduous trek across the canvas. Storm tries to slow Voltage down. But Voltage continues to pull himself forward. Voltage is met with boos when he reaches out and grabs the bottom rope.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

The boos turn to cheers when Storm stands up, drags Voltage back towards the center of the ring and sits back down in the Texas Cloverleaf!

Stephy Auger: OOOOH NOOOOO! NOOOO OOH OOOO!

Kris Cruise: STORM ISN’T ABOUT TO GIVE UP ON THE SUBMISSION! TURNABOUT IS FAIR PLAY!

Voltage cries out in pain while Storm leans back back. The crowd gets right on top of Voltage and starts taunting him with chants.

“JUST TAP OUT!”
“JUST TAP OUT!”
“JUST TAP OUT!”
“JUST TAP OUT!”

Stephy Auger: WILL THESE IDIOTS SHUT UP!?

​​Kris Cruise: But Stephy, you just said they weren't so bad aftera-

Stephy Auger: YOU SHUT UP, TOO! ACEY! PLEASE! MAKE IT TO THE ROPES!

The ref asks Voltage if he wants to give up. Voltage doesn’t answer and continues to cry out in agony. The ref asks him again if he wants to quit. Gasps are heard when Voltage raises his arm.

Stephy Auger: DON’T YOU DARE, ACEY! DON’T YOU DARE! PUT THAT ARM DOWN!

Kris Cruise: Oh, he’s about to! IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S ABOUT TO TAP OUT!

The crowd waits with bated breath as the hand shakes. Voltage then slams the arm down to tap out… only to stop about an inch off the canvas. The crowd erupts with boos when he wags his finger at the ref.

Storm shakes his head in disbelief while Voltage drags himself across the mat. Voltage continues to pull himself closer and closer to the side of the ring… before reaching out and grabbing the bottom rope. Dejected, Storm drops to his knees.

Kris Cruise: Storm thought he was going to get Ace to tap out. But Stephy, Ace just used up his last rope break, too.

Stephy Auger: What!? He did not!

Kris Cruise: He did, too! He got his foot on the bottom rope to break up a pinfall. Then, just like Tyler Storm, he grabbed the bottom rope twice to escape a submission. Both grapplers are all out of rope breaks! That has to be a first in the history of Pride Rules matches!

Storm returns to his feet and starts stomping away on Voltage’s back. He then picks up Voltage, lifts him up and sits him down on the top turnbuckle (facing away from the ring). Storm steps out to the apron before climbing the ropes.

Kris Cruise: What’s Storm going for here?

Once Storm gets up onto the middle rope and turnbuckle hook, he grabs a hold of Voltage. Fans in the crowd rise to their feet. The crowd buzzes with anticipation as they’ve seen this before.

Voltage lays sprawled out on the floor while Storm can be heard writhing in pain. The ref gets down to the outside and immediately checks on both grapplers.

Stephy Auger: Neither one of them looks to be in any condition to continue!

Storm tries to sit up, but he can’t get himself up off his back. The ref heads back inside and starts to count both grapplers out.

While Voltage remains in the prone position, Storm pulls himself up with the ropes in the corner. The challenger checks over his shoulder before scaling the turnbuckles.

Kris Cruise: Tyler’s heading back to the top…

Storm gets to the top, flips off and lands across Voltage’s back with a Diving Corkscrew Moonsault!

Kris Cruise: PARANOIA PLUMMET!

The cheers continue as Storm pulls Voltage over and makes the cover.

After he slips down in front of Storm, Voltage drops him to a knee with a low dropkick. The boos continue as Voltage hits the ropes, returns and flattens Storm with the Ace of Spades (Shining Wizard)! He makes the cover.

Storm drops to a knee while Voltage slumps down in the corner. The challenger holds his back while he struggles to return to a vertical base. After heading into the corner and pulling Voltage back up, Storm delivers an irish whip, follows Voltage across the ring and catches him in the corner with another running European Uppercut. He then pulls Voltage out of the corner, pulls him into a standing headscissors, lifts him up and throws him into the corner with a Buckle Bomb! The cheers continue as Voltage bounces out of the corner until Storm lifts him up and delivers a second Buckle Bomb! The cheers grow louder when Storm pulls him into a standing headscissors, lifts him up and throws him into the corner with a third Buckle Bomb! Voltage crumbles out of the corner until Storm drops to his knees and collapse across him for the cover.

Storm pulls Voltage back to his feet before knocking him back with a knife edge chop. A second knife edge chop echoes throughout the arena. Storm then nails Voltage with another stinging knife edge chop that knocks him back. After pushing Voltage against the ropes, Storm hacks away and obliterates Voltage’s chest with knife edge chops. Voltage slumps down against the ropes. The champ’s chest is heavily red with two popped blood vessels.

Storm reaches down, slowly pulls Voltage back to his feet and whips him into the ropes. Voltage returns off the rebound before a bicycle kick to the chest drops him. Storm reaches down, pulls Voltage back to his feet and lifts him up across his shoulder. He then hoists Voltage up even higher before bringing him down with the Bite Wound (crucifix cutter)! He makes the cover.

Voltage remains doubled over until Storm lifts him up across his shoulders!

Stephy Auger: NO NO NO!

Storm is about to bring Voltage down with the Eye of the Storm (Electric Chair Driver) until Voltage counters with repeated pointed elbows across the top of the head. After slipping down from behind, Voltage grabs Storm, runs forward and chucks him shoulder-first into the ring post. The boos continue as Voltage takes Storm, runs across the ring and throws his opposite shoulder into the ring post! Voltage pulls a doubled over Storm out of the corner by the back of the tights. He then spins Storm towards him, lifts him up and plants him with a Cradle DDT! The boos continue as Voltage takes Storm, lifts him up and plants him with a brainbuster! Voltage steps out to the apron, scales to the top rope, flips off and finally nails Storm with High Voltage! He then rolls Storm over his back before stepping back out to the apron. Voltage climbs to the top, flips off and crashes down across Storm’s back with High Voltage! He then nudges Storm back over onto his back before making the cover.

The crowd erupts with boos as “Thunderstruck” blares throughout the arena.

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this bout… aaaaaaaand STIIIILLLLLL FGA Pride Champion, ACE VOLTAGE!

The boos continue as the ref kneels down and drapes the Pride Championship across Voltage’s chest.

Kris Cruise: What a battle we just witnessed between these two. They threw everything at each other. They held nothing back. They exhausted all of their rope brakes. They went all out. But in the end, I’ll give the devil his due. Ace Voltage was able to pull it out.

Stephy Auger: I’ll even do you one better and give Tyler his due. He showed just how badly he wanted to regain the Pride Championship tonight. The man put his body on the line. He gave Acey his best shot.

Kris Cruise: Indeed he did. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough as Ace Voltage is still Pride Champion.

Voltage hugs the championship before slowly rolling out of the ring. The Pride Champion takes his time going up the aisle. Back in the ring, Storm gingerly turns over onto all fours. “Thunderstruck” has been shut off, leaving Storm to enjoy the standing ovation from the crowd. With the help of the referee, Storm carefully returns to a vertical base. Storm continues to be showered with cheers and applause for his effort… until the lights shut off. The crowd immediately starts to murmur.

Kris Cruise: Wait a second!?

Stephy Auger: What the hell is this!?

Kris Cruise: The lights are out here in Orlando!

Stephy Auger: What’s going on!? I can’t see anything!

Kris Cruise: No one can, Stephy! We see the fans turning on the flashlights on their cellphones to try and get a glimpse of what’s goi-Wait! Did you just hear something!?

Stephy Auger: I think… I think I did…

Seconds later, the lights come back on. A collective gasp can be heard from the fans at what they see in the ring. Or rather, who. The crowd starts to buzz with excitement as Storm is no longer alone in the ring with the referee.

Addition Financial Arena comes unglued at the sight of HENNY at All-Star Showdown X! Storm, who is still trying to recover from the match, isn’t aware of what’s behind him.

As soon as Storm turns around, HENNY doubles him over with a boot to the midsection, hoists him up and dumps him on his head with a Double Underhook Brainbuster!

HENNY’s not done! He reaches down, grabs both of Storm’s arms and pulls him up to his knees.

Once the intro is finished we fade to see Johnny Karma John Carmichael sitting backstage in a crisp white shirt unbuttoned around the collar, a black track jacket, a pair of scuffed blue jeans and a pair of Converse All-Stars, an all-too familiar outfit but the scene itself is anything buy, not least because there is just the one person in frame and that is the way it will be – although calling it a person is perhaps a compliment, when suggesting the physical embodiment of being done with everyone’s drek

John Carmichael: Good evening, people who are watching – and as it’s part of tonight’s pay per view you don’t exactly have a choice, do you? So sit there, shut your yap, stay off Twitter, and listen. Just once, listen

Glancing at the watch on his wrist, Carmichael gives the universal sign that you’ve had enough time to do as he has asked so now he will continue

John Carmichael: As I am sure you are aware, the official name of tonight’s show is All Star Showdown X: Night 2, after all you have seen the show advertised as such for weeks, and there’s references to it being called this both in the arena and on the graphics just in case you somehow forgot what you are watching. I know, I know, it shows a real faith in the audience’s memory span to have to drill it into them every second you can what the name of the show that you have paid hardcore dollars to either purchase a ticket or a pay per view as if you didn’t already know, but that’s the nature of the beast to assume there’s a lot of cattle. However, while that may be the official name of this evening’s show, unofficially we know this weekend is called something very different. No, you are not watching All Star Showdown X: Night 2, because in the minds of this company’s brain trust instead what you are watching is Chandler Scott Weekend: Night 2 and it they are hardly being subtle about it

John Carmichael: Let me guess, you don’t believe me? Well that’s good, that’s fine, I’m sure you’ve come to that conclusion all by yourselves and definitely haven’t been led that way with promise of a better future, as happens to so many cattle when they’re marched into the slaughterhouse, but if that is what you believe you really need to ask yourself a few questions

Maintaining eye contact with the camera, Carmichael slaps the index finger of his right hand into the palm of his left hand

John Carmichael: First question: who is the only person guaranteed to have matches on both nights of this weekend? And before you say something along the lines of “But what about the championship match…?” I’m going to stop you there and point out that, at no point, has that been guaranteed. Yes, one person has two matches on their card this weekend, but go back two days you wouldn’t know which of Cordelia Stevenson or Izzy Anders would be pulling double duty this weekend because one of them had to beat the other. So, I’ll ask you again, who is the one person guaranteed to have matches on both nights of this weekend?

Barely a second goes by after him finishing his last comment before Carmichael slaps the index and middle finger of his right hand into the palm of his left hand

John Carmichael: And so, the question there, is why? Is there a championship being defended on both of those night to justify an entire weekend devoted to gushing about how marvelous Chandler Scott is? No, there isn’t, not unless you believe that Being Chandler Scott is a title which must be defended against all comers

With a slight raise of an eyebrow, Carmichael allows the shade he just threw to settle…and then slaps the index, middle and ring finger of his right hand into the palm of his left

John Carmichael: So what possible justification is there to allow Chandler Scott to saunter up that red carpet of his, ignoring the line of people he believes beneath him, and then demands the velvet rope be held open so he gets his pick of opponents for the weekend? Last night he got a crack at Fujiko Mine because he said he wanted to put her in her place…sorry, ”prove who the best competitor is”…

The only reason Carmichael didn’t use air quotes while saying that is because the index, middle and ring finger of his right hand are still nestled in the palm of his left, but the tone of voice he uses makes it abundantly clear that he should have

John Carmichael: …and then tonight he gets the chance to prove that everything I’ve said about him isn’t true and he’s not an entitled brat who decides he’s bored slumming it at home and immediately wants to leech from anyone and everyone who has demonstrated that this company doesn’t need him and never has, but none of us have the power to…

Carmichael raises his left hand and snaps his fingers

John Carmichael: …our way back into a position that the rest of us have to toil away in the hope of getting there on merit for the days, weeks, months and years we deign to show up for work. There is no reason at all to pander to the whims of somebody who only shows up when they feel like feeding their ego, absolutely none whatsoever, and yet this company has always done so. And think about it: how many people on this roster would gladly trade in a hundred hard-fought wins just to have this company pander to them, just once? How many people have been sat backstage for shows taking place in their hometowns? I know I have, and it was a kick in the teeth to be sat there hearing the crowd wanting to see me but apparently giving the crowd what they want isn’t an option around here, but Chandler Scott? He gets everything. Every. Single. Time

Folding his hands into one another, Carmichael works out a kink in his neck before he continues

John Carmichael: Think about it this way: this is the tenth All Star Showdown, and yet who is being put front and center as such a star they get a match on both shows? Chandler Scott. And it’s time that stopped, because that line of thinking only holds people back. “Oh, we can’t hold this show without Chandler”…why? Why can’t a show go ahead without Chandler Scott? Dozens of shows, hundreds of shows, have gone ahead without Chandler Scott being in the same building, city, state or time zone, so he isn’t as vital as this company tells him he is, and more importantly he isn’t more important than everyone that gets pushed out of the way when Chandler wants to play wrestler. If he wants to play wrestler, fair enough, do it without stepping on the necks of a dozen people the second you step through the door

John Carmichael: And that’s why I’m not playing wrestler tonight. No, tonight I will be playing the fighter, the guy who has to scratch and claw to make his way in the world and, when his back is against the wall, he will scratch and claw the face of anyone who tries to take what meager possessions he scraped together because they paid for those with blood and sweat and tears a hundred times over.

Without thinking, Carmichael slaps the back of his left hand into the palm of his right

John Carmichael: It’s a role I know how to play, because I’ve been playing it for eight years, but apparently it makes me “bitter” if I mention this fact because…well, we can’t have anyone suggesting that Chandler Scott is the be all and end all of this company, can we?

While that last comment sounds like the punchline to a joke, the look which Carmichael flashes at the camera for a fraction of a second is anything but jocular

John Carmichael: More than anything else, it is time that Chandler Scott learned what it feels like to hate his part-time job, not because the job is difficult or because it takes a physical and sometimes mental toll on you, but because being in this business is never, ever fair…to some people, that is, while others get break after break after break. Breaks such as walking through the door to say it’s time you were given a title shot and expecting everyone to bask in your presence because, from the second you were announced for that match, it was all about Jimmy Page vs Chandler Scott vs Sean Sands, plus some guy making up the numbers, because when you have Chandler Scott and a member of the Sands family and the reigning champ, nobody else in the match matters. And that’s crap, I matter, and yet this whole company made me hate the fact that I had scratched and clawed my way to the first title match of my career because they acted like I wasn’t even in it, and then because you snuck out the other side with the title in spite barely deigning to be in this company for a couple of months you made me think that not only was I not good enough, you made me think I was wasting my time with my career because I had to stand by and watch you whisper liquid gold into the ears of those who run this company and...

Carmichael slams the hammer of his right hand into the palm of his left

John Carmichael: …down comes a wall to tell people that their hard work and sacrifice don’t matter, name value matters, even though the only reason that name matters is because they’ve stacked the deck to make sure that name matters. And that’s why I despise you, Chandler, because your name doesn’t matter. It never did. You’re nothing but Frankenstein’s entitled monster and you’ve been allowed to walk free for far, far too long without seeing a single torch or pitchfork to drive you out like the monster you are, instead you’re allowed to give a wink here, a cocky smirk there, and a thousand quips to make sure the credibility of anyone who has the “honor” of being in the ring with you dies the death of a thousand cuts in the eyes of the audience who have been programmed to accept you as the only wrestler who matters. Well I’m sick of it, I’m tired of it, and tonight I am putting an end to it because you have been a virus that infects this company for far longer than is healthy, a terminal sickness that blights everything, and the only way to cure this sickness is to cut it out. So I hope your ego has been sufficiently massaged during Chandler Scott Weekend, because once the audience’s eyes are opened as to what a fraud you are those cheers you long for so much will never be as loud and never as sustained as they once were, and the only reason anyone will show any interest in you is for the purposes of nostalgia. And when that’s done, you know what you will hear?

Carmichael cocks his head slightly to one side, as if he’s actually talking directly to Chandler at this point and expecting an answer

Having kept the crowd waiting for as long as he damn well feels like, with his entrance theme literally laughing in the crowd's faces, finally Carmichael whips around on the spot to face the ring and without a second's hesitation begins to walk to the ring

As he makes his way down the ramp in his own damn time, Carmichael occasionally glances from side to side at the fans nearest to him wearing an expression that combines bemusement and contempt of each and every last one of them until he reaches the ringside area and simply shrugs his leather jacket off his shoulders and makes his way onto the ring apron

Quickly stepping through the ropes into the ring, Karma climbs the nearest turnbuckles and simply stands there without raising an arm, a finger, or even a muscle to acknowledge the crowd, instead he's just making sure they can see that he's there

Climbing off the turnbuckles, Carmichael walks into the centre of the ring - but he keeps his back firmly to the camera and, as a result, the people watching the show on their televisions and their tablets, because they're just as much part of the problem

Dropping into a crouch, Carmichael looks at his opponent, but rather than sizing them up as a threat he's looking at them like a job that he'd rather take care of with as little fuss as possible, at which point he glances to the ref to tell him to ring the bell so he can get out of here as soon as possible.

Kris Cruise: The hatred that John Carmichael has for Chandler Scott is palpable. Carmichael has had his fair share of rivals over the years. Tony Carmine. Johnny Cannon. Evan Envi. Izzy Anders. But I don’t think I’ve ever heard him speak with such venom in his voice like we have here tonight.

Stephy Auger: This is clearly something that has been festering inside Carmichael for many years. This isn’t the first time these two will have faced off in a ring. These two have had many battles over the years. But whether they were both being booed or both being cheered, we never saw this amount of animosity from Carmichael. Never. But like I said, this is something that he’s had bottled up inside him for years and tonight, he’s about to let it out. This isn’t the Johnny Karma that was coming up the ranks as a two-time Pride Champion. This isn’t the same Karma that was on top of FGA as the Undisputed Champion in 2017 and 2018. This is a man that feels some type of way, Cruise. We saw him to the fans to shove it. We saw how he pushed Izzy’s buttons and pushed her back towards the old Izzy. We saw him finally turn the tables on Evan Envi and put him on the shelf indefinitely. If I’m Chandler Scott, I wouldn’t take Carmichael lightly because he’s here to injure.

The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Multi-colored lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott steps through the curtain with outstretched arms to a loud ovation from the crowd.

J.A. Aldridge: His opponent, hailing from Westwood, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 221 pounds! He is “The DNA of FGA”... CHANDLER SCOTT!

Chandler heads down the ramp with purpose. Once he's reached the aisle of the aisle, he rolls himself into the ring just as the lights come back on. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while Chandler poses with outstretched arms. When the chorus ends, Chandler hops off the middle ropes, turns and lands on his feet. He begins tugging on the top rope as he awaits the opening bell.

Kris Cruise: Chandler Scott had a hell of a battle last night against Fujiko Mine. The Apex Goddess was victorious in that Dream Match against the FGAce. Chandler still finds himself winless here in 2021. The desperation level has to be through the roof for him. He’s been in plenty of high pressure situations over the years, Stephy. But the level of pressure he’s putting on himself to finally get that win, I can’t imagine.

Stephy Auger: If Carmichael has his way, he’ll continue to remain winless. You heard Carmichael say it himself. He’s here to fight. He’s here to destroy, as he put it, the Virus of FGA. Chandler is beyond desperate to get a win at this point. If Chandler tries to turn this into a fist fight, he’s going to lose and he’s going to lose badly.

Kris Cruise: I agree. Carmichael is going to play dirty. He’s going to want to turn this into a slugfest. Chandler has been in some knock-down, drag-out fights. Brawling isn’t his forté. But he’s do desperate for a win at this point that he might end up fighting Carmichael’s fight, which would be a losing one for him.

The bell sounds as both men step towards the center of the ring. The crowd buzzes with anticipation as Scott and Carmichael are staring each other down. Carmichael is staring daggers through Scott while Scott just returns with a smirk.

Stephy Auger: Look at him, Cruise! Look at how cocky Chandler is!

Kris Cruise: I don’t think it’s so much about being “cocky” as it is about getting into the head of John Carmichael.

Scott can be seen starting to mouth off to Carmichael. Carmichael doesn’t say a word. He just narrows his eyes at his opponent. Scott starts to goad Carmichael by motioning for Carmichael to hit him.

Kris Cruise: This isn’t the wisest move!

Stephy Auger: He’s really trying to get under Carmichael’s skin.

The anticipation continues to build as Scott continues to mouth off at Carmichael. The crowd grows uneasy when Carmichael starts to tremble with anger.

Kris Cruise: Carmichael can barely contain his anger.

Stephy Auger: He could snap at any moment.

The crowd lets out a collective gasp when Carmichael finally strikes! Scott’s head snaps back after winding up on the receiving end of a huge uppercut! Scott immediately plops down to a seated position before slumping over to his side. He remains motionless on the mat.

Kris Cruise: GOD GOD, WHAT AN UPPERCUT FROM JOHN CARMICHAEL!

Stephy Auger: LOOK AT HIM, CRUISE! THE LIGHTS ARE ON, BUT NOBODY’S HOME!

Scott continues to lay motionless on the mat while Carmichael towers over him. The ref motions for Carmichael to step back. When Carmichael refuses to do so, the ref has to physical move him back.

Kris Cruise: John Carmichael has just knocked out Chandler Scott!

Stephy Auger: I’ve never seen anyone get wrecked like that from one punch!

The ref goes back over and kneels down next to Scott. The ref goes to check on him until Carmichael marches over and nudges the ref out of the way!

Kris Cruise: Hey!

Carmichael yanks Scott up off the mat and goozles him as he muscles him over into the corner. He can be heard shouting at Scott that “I matter” before sending him slumping down with mudhole stomps in the corner. The boos continue as Carmichael applies a foot choke while pulling down on the top rope.

Kris Cruise: He’s trying to choke the life out of Chandler Scott!

Stephy Auger: With the way Carmichael was talking earlier, I’m pretty sure that’s the plan.

Ten seconds later, Carmichael finally lets go of the choke. He yanks Scott back to a vertical base before launching him out of the corner with a biel throw. Scott lands hard on his back before bouncing over into the prone position. He slowly picks himself up off the mat until Carmichael charges out of the corner and turns him inside out with a running lariat!

Kris Cruise: What a lariat from Carmichael!

Stephy Auger: He put something extra behind that lariat! He nearly knocked him out of his boots!

Carmichael marches back over, pulls Scott up by the back of the tights and whips him hard into the corner. After crashing sternum-first into the top turnbuckle, Scott stumbles back until Carmichael runs over and nearly knocks his head off with a Northern Lariat!

Kris Cruise: Chandler is getting it from all sides, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: Yeah, I bet he wishes he hadn’t run his mouth now!

Carmichael starts to stomp away on Scott. He continues to put the boots to Scott before raining down wild rights and lefts to the back of the head. Scott is left with no choice but to cover his head and turtle up on the mat. The crowd erupts with boos as Carmichael looks out to them while gesturing down to Scott.

Kris Cruise: Chandler’s in a bad way here.

Stephy Auger: I don’t think I’ve ever seen Chandler turtle up before. He’s totally outmatched right now and if we’re being honest with ourselves, Cruise, he’s been outmatched ever since he stepped back into a ring at Past vs Present.

Carmichael delivers a hard jumping down to the back. He then reaches down, yanks Scott back to his feet and heaves him over his head with a Half Nelson Suplex! Carmichael marches over, yanks Scott back up and chucks him across the ring with another Half Nelson Suplex! Scott tumbles across the ring. He struggles to pick himself up until Carmichael swoops in from behind and yeets him with another Half Nelson Suplex! The momentum sends Scott rolling across the ring and out to the apron.

Kris Cruise: Chandler is getting ragdolled with those suplexes.

Stephy Auger: You remember the last time Chandler was on the receiving end of a Half Nelson Suplex? It was off the very top of a steel cage at 2019: A New Odyssey. I’m sure he just caught flashbacks.

Scott starts to slowly pick himself up using the ropes. Carmichael steps out to the apron from behind, rushes over and takes control of Scott’s back. The crowd gasps when he tries to launch Scott off the apron with a release German Suplex! Scott blocks by wrapping his arm around the top rope. Carmichael lets go of the rear waist lock and delivers clubbing strikes across the back of the neck before trying for another German Suplex. Once again, Scott blocks by wrapping his arm around the top rope. Carmichael lets go of the rear waistlock again and tries for another release German! Scott is able to block the move in time. This time, Carmichael lets go and nails Scott with a kidney punch. Scott lets out a groan as he drops down to a knee on the apron. Carmichael reaches down, pulls Scott back up and chucks him off the apron with a Half Nelson Suplex! The crowd gasps when they see Scott folded up on the floor!

Kris Cruise: Chandler’s just been folded in half!

Stephy Auger: If I’m the referee, I might want to step in and call this one.

Kris Cruise: He hasn’t even rung the bell yet!

Carmichael storms over, grabs Scott and presses his face up against the guardrail. Scott can be seen flailing his arms as Carmichael’s yells at the fans in the front to look at him. Once Carmichael lets go, Scott drops to all fours. He remains in that position until a punt kick to the ribs knocks him over onto his back.

Carmichael starts to stomp Scott partially underneath the guardrail. As soon as Scott is right where he wants him, Carmichael hooks both of his legs and yanks back, catapulting Scott throat-first into the bottom of the steel guardrail!

Kris Cruise: Carmichael is out for blood!

Scott can be seen spazzing on the floor while he clutches his throat. Carmichael yanks him out from underneath the guardrail, scoops him up and drops him throat-first across the guardrail. The crowd boos as Scott bounces off the rail before dropping back down to the floor. Carmichael adds insult to injury with repeated stomps to the throat. He then applies another foot choke while he crouches down over Scott.

Kris Cruise: Carmichael’s trying to crush the larynx of Chandler Scott!

Another ten seconds pass before Carmichael finally lets go. He reaches down, yanks Scott up to his feet and shows him off to the camera. The crowd boos when it’s revealed that Scott is now bleeding from the mouth.

Stephy Auger: Carmichael’s drawn blood!

Carmichael then takes Scott and purposely slams him face-first into the camera lens, sending both Scott and the cameraman tumbling to the floor. He then heads over, snatches up the camera and raises it high above his head before throwing it down violently across Scott!

Scott immediately curls up on the mat and covers the back of his head. After Carmichael kicks Scott over onto his back, he kneels down on top of Scott before raining down wild rights and lefts to the head. Scott desperately tries to cover up, but Carmichael is able to punch through his defense.

Kris Cruise: Carmichael’s just swarming him with strikes.

Stephy Auger: He’s too much for Chandler.

Carmichael snatches Scott up and chokes him once again. He yells in Scott’s face, “I matter” before rushing forward and slamming the back of Scott’s head hard against the ring post. Scott plops down to a seated position before slumping over to the side.

Kris Cruise: This is getting ugly, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: Getting?

Scott is slowly peeled up off the mat before being pushed back into the ring. Carmichael then rolls back in, gets up to a knee and motions for the ref to call for the bell. When the ref tells him that he has to check on Scott, Carmichael gets to his feet, marches over, gets right in the ref’s face and points over to the timekeeper’s table. Scared for his safety, the ref reluctantly calls for the bell.

Carmichael slowly turns and sees Scott struggling to pick himself up using the ropes. Scott is nearly back to his feet before he loses his balance and falls back down to the canvas.

Kris Cruise: The ref might need to step in here and stop this one, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: Might? It should have never been started in the first place.

Carmichael marches over and delivers several toe kicks to the back. Scott is left arching his back in pain while he lays on his side. Carmichael continues his attack with repeated stomps to the ribs on the left side of the body. He then reaches down, yanks Scott up and lifts him up across his shoulders before throwing him down with Spite (fireman’s carry into a backbreaker)!

Kris Cruise: Chandler nearly got broken in half with that backbreaker!

Stephy Auger: You can see the hope slowly leaving these fans, Cruise! Some of them are telling Chandler to fight back. But I don’t think he can!

Scott is seen writhing in pain on the canvas. But Carmichael shows no mercy. He yanks Scott up off the mat before whipping him hard into the corner. After crashing back-first into the turnbuckles, Scott staggers out of the corner until Carmichael throws him down with authority with the Salt of the Earth (tilt-a-whirl over the shoulder powerslam)! Carmichael returns to his feet and puts his foot on Scott’s chest for the cover.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Carmichael walks away from Scott.

Carmichael heads back over to Scott. He reaches down, yanks Scott up and throws him down with the Tahara (full nelson slam over the knee)! Scott cries out in agony on the mat. He can be seen arching his back in pain while his left leg spasms.

Kris Cruise: The referee really, really needs to consider stopping this. This is starting to become too much.

Stephy Auger: Depending on who you ask, they haven’t seen enough! I’m sure Cordelia and Seth are somewhere laughing their heads off!

Carmichael reaches down, slowly pulls Scott back to his feet and applies another two-handed choke. The crowd erupts with boos as Carmichael tries to choke the life out of Scott. With the match now being officially started, the ref can finally force a five count.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Carmichael takes Scott and shoves him off into the ropes. Scott returns off the rebound, gets hoisted into the air and brought down with Life’s a Bitch (Pop-up sitdown powerbomb)!

NO!

The crowd cheers when Scott counters with a dropkick in mid air!

Stephy Auger: What!?

Kris Cruise: Chandler countered! He countered with a dropkick to the chest! There’s still some fight left in him!

Carmichael rolls over to a knee. After shaking off the blow, Carmichael rises back to his feet, runs over to attack and gets countered with a fireman’s carry. The cheers continue as Scott brings him down with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker!

Kris Cruise: Chandler brought him down again!

Stephy Auger: I can’t believe this is happening!

Scott gets up before staggering over to his side and collapsing against the ropes. The FGAce is feeling it. He starts to shake his head feverishly as the crowd is rallying behind him.

Kris Cruise: Go for it, Chandler! FIGHT BACK!

Scott marches over, catches Carmichael when he gets up with a kick to the midsection and sends him for the ride. When Carmichael returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when Scott knocks him down with a Pinpoint Dropkick (high angle dropkick to the face)!

Kris Cruise: CARMICHAEL’S BEEN TAKEN OFF HIS FEET YET AGAIN! We’re starting to see the comeback! I don’t know how he’s doing this after all the punishment he’s just taken. But Chandler Scott will not die!

Stephy Auger: Yeah, well, Carmichael will see about that…

Scott takes Carmichael and whips him into the ropes. When Carmichael returns, a kitchen sink to the midsection sends him flipping down to the mat. He remains in a seated position until Scott hits the ropes, comes back and flattens him with a Sliding D! Scott pulls him back up to a seated position, hits the ropes, returns and flattens him with another Sliding D!! The cheers grow louder when Scott pulls him up to a seated position, hits the ropes, returns and flattens him with a third Sliding D!!! Instead of going for a cover, Scott mounts on top of Carmichael and rains down 12 to 6 elbows to the face!

Kris Cruise: Chandler’s going to town with those elbows! Now it’s Carmichael that’s desperately trying to cover up!

Scott takes Carmichael and whips him into the corner. The cheers continue as he charges across the ring and connects with a running European Uppercut! He then takes Carmichael, delivers an irish whip, follows him across the ring and connects with a flying corner elbow smash! Carmichael is hoisted up onto the top turnbuckle before being placed in a three quarter facelock. The crowd cheers when Carmichael gets dropped with a top rope-hung cutter)!

Kris Cruise: MASS SPIKE! YOU KNOW WHAT COMES NEXT, STEPHY!

Stephy Auger: I’ve seen it countless times! Carmichael better comes up with something quick!

Scott circles the ring like a man possessed. He then marches over, grabs Carmichael and pulls him into a font facebook before dragging him back over towards the center of the ring. He looks out at the audience. The capacity crowd is buzzing with anticipation. They know what comes next. Scott then hooks the arm, lifts Carmichael up and plants him with the DNA Driver (Bloody Sunday)!!!

Before Scott can hook Carmichael’s arm with his left, Carmichael grabs the right arm, spins out and counters with a falling short-arm clothesline!

Kris Cruise: CARMICHAEL’S ESCAPED!

Stephy Auger: YEAH, AND LOOK!

Carmichael rolls off of Scott as both men end up splayed out on the mat. But Carmichael still has a hold of Scott’s wrist! He rolls over to a knee, grabs Scott and pulls him back to his feet before knocking him down with a standing short-arm clothesline! Once again, Carmichael maintains control of the wrist! The boos continue as he reaches down, grabs Scott and peels him up off the mat. Scott is then scooped upside down in Carmichael’s arms. Carmichael is booed even more when he turns and shows Scott to all four sections of the crowd. He then turns back to the hard cam before dumping Scott right on his head with the 27 Club (jumping tombstone)! He makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: In more ways than one!

The crowd erupts with boos as “Land of Sunshine” blares throughout the arena.

J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner, JOHN CARMICHAEL!

Carmichael immediately snatches his arm from the official before rolling to the outside.

Kris Cruise: Carmichael looks to be in no mood to celebrate.

Carmichael kneels down next to the ring and holds up the ring skirt before fishing for something underneath the ring.

Stephy Auger: The match may be over, but I don’t think Carmichael is done.

Seconds later, the crowd murmurs when Carmichael pulls out a steel chain.

Kris Cruise: What the hell is this!?

Stephy Auger: What do you mean? It’s pretty obvious what it is.

Carmichael rolls himself back into the ring, marches over towards Scott and swings the chain down violently across Chandler over and over and over again!

Kris Cruise: OH COME ON!

The ref calls for the bell as Scott continues to get hit across the body over and over with the chain. But Carmichael doesn’t care. With a white-knuckled grip, Carmichael continues to whip Scott violently with the chain across the arms, head, torso and legs.

Kris Cruise: THE REFEREE NEEDS TO STOP THIS! NOW!

Stephy Auger: If I’m the official, I’m getting nowhere near Carmichael right now.

Carmichael mounts on top of Scott, wraps part of the chain around his fist and unleashes a flurry of right hands that eventually bust Scott open.

Stephy Auger: Carmichael’s drawn blood again!

The boos continue as Carmichael takes his chain-wrapped fist and grinds it against Scott’s head, which further opens the cut and causes him to bleed even more.

*DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING!*

Two more officials come down to the ring to try and get Carmichael off of Scott.

Kris Cruise: FINALLY there’s some help out here!

Stephy Auger: Them!? What are they going to do!? If they want to save Chandler, they better get security out here.

Carmichael nudges the refs off of him before taking Scott and chucking him through the ropes to the floor. He then rolls to the outside and wraps part of the chain around Scott’s neck. The crowd grows worried as they see Scott kicking his legs while he’s helplessly dragged up the aisle.

Kris Cruise: The referees need to step in and stop this! What the hell are they waiting for!?

Stephy Auger: Would you want to risk physical harm to yourself to save Chandler? I wouldn’t!

Once Carmichael drags Scott up to the stage, he yanks him back to his feet. After a hard punch to the midsection doubles Scott over, Carmichael takes Scott and pulls him close to his face. He wants to make sure Scott is the last thing he sees… before he takes him and runs towards the edge of the stage! The crowd gasps when Scott gets launched off the stage, flips through the air and…

*CRACK!*

Kris Cruise: NO! NO, DAMMIT, NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!

The crowd murmurs as they can’t see where Chandler landed. Carmichael continues to stare down before turning to the crowd with a look on contempt. The area next to the stage, which is normally shredded is darkness, is illuminated by spotlights. Members of the crowd nearby shrike in horror as Scott lays motionless in the prone position on the arena floor. Referees and officials make their way out from the back. Medical personnel follow a couple of seconds later. The cameras then cut to the announce desk. Cruise can be seen turning to Auger. He shakes his head over what’s just transpired.

Stephy Auger: What do you want me to say? He brought it on himself! He’s the one that taunted Carmichael at the start of the match! What did he think was going to happen!?

Kris Cruise: Chandler could have said absolutely nothing tonight and this is what would have happened! What did you think Carmichael meant when he said he wanted to remove the “virus” from FGA!? Did you think he was going to simply pin Chandler and call it a night!? Did you think he was going to just be content with a submission victory!?

Stephy Auger: …

Kris Cruise: I don’t care how justified Carmichael thinks he is. I don’t care how “wronged” or “slighted” he feels he’s been. Chandler never crossed the line with him in the ring. That is a fact. These two have met countless times over the years. I’m talking about with championships on the line. With the biggest prizes in FGA up for grabs, we’ve never seen Carmichael act like this. We’ve never seen him unleash that level of hatred and rage on Chandler Scott. This was uncalled for, Stephy. I don’t care if you don’t like Chandler. I don’t care if you think he’s too this or too that. There was no reason for this tonight. None. Absolutely none! These same people, the same people that are booing Carmichael right now, stood by his side for years. But his actions as of late, from what he did to Cherry Baum to Izzy Anders to Evan Envi and to Chandler Scott tonight, it just proves that Carmichael isn’t the same man these fans rallied behind for years.

Cruise lets out a sigh.

Kris Cruise: He’s not the same man that was worth their cheers and their tears and their support. This is just… I don’t… I don’t even know. I don’t even know what to say anymore. Let’s just… let’s just take a break here, okay?

Stephy Auger: …

PREVIOUSLY RECORDED

The show transitions away from the arena, to a location elsewhere in Orlando, namely Clear Lake Park, and standing on a pier that extends out over the eponymous lake, is the [2020 and] 2021 Gold Rush Rumble winner, Lowri Moss. Dressed in a pair of denim shorts and a white sleeveless t-shirt, Lowri is standing facing the camera, with the sun behind her as well as the lake, and with that familiar smile of hers on her face, she starts by giving her equally familiar greeting.

Lowri Moss: What’s occurring, FGA?

There are not any fans there to react to her in real time, but nevertheless, she pauses for a second or two anyway, as if to allow for the customary cheap pop.

Lowri Moss: Here we are again-- here I am again. All-Star Showdown. One of the biggest shows on the FGA calendar, and for the second year in a row, I have the opportunity to fulfill my goal of becoming a top champion, or the top champion, here in FGA. Last year it was the International Heavyweight Championship, this year it’s the Undisputed Championship, and unlike last year, this time I’m not going to be leaving empty-handed.

She did not actually leave All-Star Showdown empty-handed last year, as she was still one half of the World Tag Team Champions. However, tag team gold is not what is on her mind right now.

Lowri Moss: For me, becoming Undisputed Champion isn’t just about fulfilling a goal that I’ve had since I arrived in FGA, around four and a half years ago though-- it’s about achieving the dream that I’ve had since I first fell in love with wrestling, two decades ago.

Lowri runs a hand through her hair.

Lowri Moss: One of my oldest memories is of watching wrestling for the first time. I still vividly remember watching it and being instantly captivated, by the larger than life personalities, by the physicality, by the breath-taking athleticism, and perhaps most of all, by the competitive spirit. I watched with my mouth open and my eyes agog, unable to look away, a sensation that… the only other memory I have from my childhood that comes close to matching it is when my Dad took me to my first rugby game, and I walked up the steps for the first time and looked out at the field, as the stadium filled up around me. As much as I loved rugby though, and still do, it was surpassed by my love of wrestling, and it wasn’t long before I began to aspire to be a pro wrestler once I got older. But I didn’t want just to be a pro wrestler. I think most people who dream of being a professional athlete, whatever their chosen sport, they also dream of winning trophies, of winning medals, of winning championships-- and I was no different; I wanted to be a wrestler, I wanted to be a champion, and ultimately, I wanted to be a world champion.

She puts her hands on her hips.

Lowri Moss: Before I ever became a star in a wrestling ring though, and the best striker in FGA, it was on a football field that I first starred, as the best striker in the South Wales Women's & Girls' League.

By “football” she means the sport that is played with a spherical shaped ball, which most of the world, with the exception of the US and a few other countries, refers to as football.

Lowri Moss: I think it’s well known that I have a background in football, I know that Kris Cruise has mentioned it on commentary in the past, and I was a pretty good player, until I gave it up. I was invited to attend trials for Swansea City’s women’s team, although I turned the opportunity down, and there was even talk of me possibly getting a trial for a place on the Wales under seventeen team, which would’ve cool, to maybe get to represent my country, but as much as I enjoyed the decade or so that I spent playing football, it was only ever a hobby for me, I never wanted anything more from it. Perhaps if wrestling hadn’t worked out for me I might look back and wonder about what might’ve been, although I’m not quite sure that I would’ve been good enough to make a living from it anyway. Maybe I could’ve played part-time, been a semi-pro, but again, I’m not sure that I would’ve been good enough to do it full-time. I mean, I may look a bit like Alex Morgan, or so I’ve been told, but I can’t exactly play like her.

For those unaware, Alex Morgan is an American professional footballer.

Lowri Moss: She probably wouldn’t be able to wrestle like I can though, so at least I have that. And I am still the best footballer in my household, not to mention the best wrestler.

She sticks her tongue out playfully.

Lowri Moss: I stopped playing football regularly when I was sixteen, and if it had been up to me, I would've finished school at the same age and then started training to wrestle soon after. The reason I didn’t was because I was doing well enough at school that I had the chance to potentially go to university, and while my parents were well aware that I wanted to be a wrestler, they wanted me to go to university first, so I didn't want to disappoint them. Plus, no one in my family had ever been to university before, so it was kind of a big deal-- I was already making history before I had even set foot inside a wrestling ring.

Lowri takes her hands off her hips, as she continues.

Lowri Moss: I'm still not sure what my parents are actually prouder of, seeing me graduate from university, or seeing all the things that I've accomplished inside the ring-- probably the first one, I think. It was during my final year at university that I started my training-- while my friends would be getting ready to go on a night out, I would be heading off to a leisure center, or subsequently an abandoned bingo hall, putting the building blocks in place for the career that I wanted to embark upon. And soon after I graduated, I had my first match, a tag team match in which my partner was a certain other rookie wrestler from South Wales; I don’t think either could of us have predicted back then, the success that we would go on to have as a team, or that we would still be together, one way or another, five years later.

She is of course referring to the artist formerly known as Neal Durden.

Lowri Moss: When I think about how far I’ve come since that first match of my career, or since my first appearance in FGA, I think not only about how much I’ve improved inside the ring in that time, but also about things like how much more comfortable I am in front of a camera now, compared with how awkward I used to be, stumbling over what to say.

Lowri then laughs, self-deprecatingly.

Lowri Moss: Oh, who am I kidding? I still stumble over my words at times even now - I probably have at least once already during the course of this.

She lets out another chuckle, before continuing.

Lowri Moss: When I made my debut in FGA, I was a virtual unknown, even in the UK, but now I stand here one win away from becoming the Undisputed Champion, one win away from achieving my dream-- something that I was robbed of last year. Less than two months after last year’s All-Star Showdown, I won two other titles on shows elsewhere, but as much pleasure and as much satisfaction as I took from winning those titles, winning them couldn’t make up for missing out on the International Heavyweight title-- like I said last December, being a champion is one thing, but being a champion in a promotion like FGA, particularly a world champion, is something else, it means more; Cordy recently called the Undisputed title “the biggest prize in the game,” and she was spot on.

She pauses momentarily, to take a breath.

Lowri Moss: Because of what happened last year at All-Star Showdown, I can’t help having this feeling at the back of my mind that I could’ve already been the Undisputed Champion by now. But maybe I wasn’t meant to win the International Heavyweight title last year - maybe I was meant to wait until one day like this, to become the Undisputed Champion; it’s not the first time in my career that I’ve found myself having such thoughts. Three years ago, when I won the North American Championship in Underground, I did so at the fourth attempt. In each of my three previous matches for the title, I had been prevented from winning by things like outside interference, or being hit with a baseball bat. Obviously I would've preferred not to have had to go through all of that, but when I finally did become champion, it happened on a show that took place in Cardiff, of all places, the capital city of Wales, which just served to make the moment extra special, and which left me thinking, like I said, that maybe I wasn’t meant to win the title before that night-- maybe I was meant to wait until then.

At present, Lowri ranks that at the top of the best moments in her career so far, although she hopes that it is about to be supplanted at the top of the list very soon.

Lowri Moss: Now, All-Star Showdown isn’t taking place in Cardiff, of course-- or anywhere else in Wales, or the UK, for that matter. No, it’s taking place here in Orlando… which just so happens to be the city that I’ve made home since I moved to the US, two and a half years ago; becoming champion in New York would’ve been great, but to do so here, in my adopted hometown, will be even better. And as if that wasn’t enough, something else that’s different, that’ll also make things better, is that unlike the Hammerstein Ballroom last December, the arena here in Orlando will be at full capacity, which means that I’ll get to share the experience with even more of the great FGA fans.

Following the briefest of pauses, she continues.

Lowri Moss: Because I’m not just doing this for me. I’m also doing it for all of the fans, whether you’ve been a devoted follower of mine since day one, or whether you’re a more recent convert. Either way, I’m grateful for all of the love and support that you always show me, and I intend to reward you all for that in the best possible way.

Instead of the ILY sign that she gestures to the crowd with when she is in the ring, Lowri makes a heart shape with her hands, holding the hand heart in front of her chest.

Lowri Moss: And I’m also doing it for all of my friends, for all of my family, and most importantly, for my parents. Being a professional wrestler probably isn’t what they originally envisioned their little girl doing when she grew up, but they accepted that this was what I wanted to do with my life, and they have been - and continue to be - my two biggest supporters. No one would be happier to see me become Undisputed Champion than them, and I know that they’ll be staying up late, into the early hours back home, to watch the main event-- and I don’t plan on disappointing them.

She emphasizes that last part with a forceful shake of her head.

Lowri Moss: You know, I’m actually recording this prior to night one, so I guess I need to try to predict the future, otherwise it’s going to look weird if you’re watching this on night two and wondering, “How come she never mentioned who her opponent in the Undisputed title match is?” So what about Cordy beating Izzy last night and retaining the Undisputed title?

A boo can be heard from someone off camera.

Lowri Moss: What about Izzy [BEEP]ing Cordy up last night and winning the Undisputed title?

The boo is replaced by a cheer.

Lowri Moss: We’ll wait and see which one of those makes the edit.

Lowri takes a few steps forward, moving towards the camera.

Lowri Moss: In all seriousness though, whoever it is that I have to beat, I am going to make my dream come true; I am going to make my destiny become my reality; I am going to become… the FGA Undisputed Champion.

She glances over her right shoulder, looking behind her at the lake and the sun. As she then turns back to face the camera, she reaches into one of the pockets on her shorts, and retrieves a pair of sunglasses.

Lowri Moss: It's looking like a beautiful weekend.

After putting on the sunglasses, Lowri then walks off, out of shot, and with the video having reached its end, the show returns to ringside, in readiness for the main event.

Kris Cruise: Lowri Moss earned this shot by winning the Gold Rush Rumble for the second year in a row. Last year at All-Star Showdown IX, she came up short against Cordy Stevenson. Will she share the same fate tonight?

Stephy Auger: I think she does, Cruise. It’s not that Lowri isn’t talented. She just lacks that killer instinct. She isn’t willing to do what needs to be done to win a championship. I don’t think she has it in her to get dirty. Cordy’s willing to get dirty and do what she has to do to win. Lowri winning would be a sweet little story. But it will remain just that - a story. The reality is that Cordy rules the ring in FGA and Cordy will once again reign supreme over Lowri at All-Star Showdown.

J.A. Aldridge: Her opponent, hailing from Freeport, Long Island! Weighing in at 155 pounds! She is the reigning… defending… FGA Undisputed Champion… CORDELIA STEVENSON!

Kris Cruise: You and Cordy act like her beating Lowri is a forgone conclusion. But if you ask me, Cordy is scared.

Stephy Auger: Scared!? Oh who, Lowri freaking Moss? Her!? Ms. Goodie Two Shoes!? HA!

Kris Cruise: Cordy knows what she had to do to beat Lowri last year. Lowri kicked out of everything she threw at her and if she didn’t purposely hook the tights…

Stephy Auger: She accidentally reached out and grabbed the tights to catch her balance!

Kris Cruise: …then Cordy likely wouldn’t have walked out fo All-Star Showdown IX still the champion.

Stephy Auger: You don’t know that!

Kris Cruise: I know this much. Cordy didn’t expect Lowri Moss to win the Rumble. She never expected Lowri to repeat. Even after Lowri earned her title shot, she intentionally tried to force Izzy’s title shot first and postpone Lowri’s match to a later date. She wanted no parts of Lowri at All-Star Showdown because she’s afraid of what might happen.

Stephy Auger: And here I thought you couldn’t be more delusional. Cordy Stevenson has spent the better part of the last two years elevating the top titles and elevating this company. If anything, Cordy deserved to only fight one time this weekend and that was against Izzy Anders. Instead, Leonard T. Asherman is hellbent on trying to screw Cordy out of her championship, so he’s making her defend her championship on back to back nights. How unfair is that? Lowri isn’t being forced to wrestle on both nights!

Kris Cruise: Lowri said she was more than willing to do that. Even Cordy floated out the idea about picking her opponent. But guess who never ended up following through on that? That’s Cordy Stevenson’s fault! No one told her to give whoever eliminated Chandler a title match. That was her idea! She’s mad that her plan could end up blowing up in her face and she’s mad that she has to stand across the ring from Lowri at another All-Star Showdown! She knows just how close Lowri came last year and this year, she might actually get the job done.

Stevenson responds by turning around in the corner, climbing up onto the middle ropes and thrusting the belt high above her head.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Stevenson climbs down from the ropes before making her way out of the corner. She continues to keep her Undisputed Championship held in the air with her left arm. She smirks as she looks up at the belt before looking over at Moss. Stevenson’s eyes continue to dart back and forth between Moss and the belt before she gives a long kiss to the center plate. The Undisputed Champion hands the belt over to the official. The referee then folds the straps and offers Moss the chance to look at the belt. The crowd boos when Stevenson yanks the ref back. She thumbs behind her towards Moss and lets the ref know that she won’t know what it it’s like to hold that belt for a long while.

Kris Cruise: We’ll see about that.

Stevenson turns back to Moss and smirks as she stares her down. Moss peeks around Stevenson and gets another glance at the championship. The crowd boos Stevenson when she sidesteps in front of Moss and blocks her view. Moss lets Stevenson know that she’ll finally touch that belt when she wins it tonight. The comment immediately wipes the smirk off Stevenson’s face and replaces it with a scowl.

Stephy Auger: How cocky can she get?

Stevenson leans forward as she stares Moss down. The two are forehead to forehead until the ref slips his arm between them and motions for them to back it up. Both champion and challenger reluctantly do so. The challenger is asked if she’s ready. Moss nods. The champion is asked if she’s ready. Stevenson tells the ref, “let’s get it.” The official then signals for the bell.

Kris Cruise: Here we go! Stevenson-Moss II is officially underway!

The crowd erupts with cheers when the bell sounds. Champion and challenger proceed to circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Moss moves Stevenson across the ring and presses her against the ropes.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Both grapplers make a clean break. Stevenson stares Moss down as Moss steps back towards the center of the ring. The champion then comes off the ropes and locks up with Moss again. After jockeying for position, Stevenson starts to move Moss back across the ring. Moss then pivots and presses Stevenson up against the ropes. Stevenson starts to fight her way off the ropes, but Moss overpowers her and presses her back against the ropes.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

As soon as both grapplers make a clean break, the crowd boos when Stevenson pushes Moss back. Moss motions for a strike, but Stevenson quickly slips her upper body between the ropes and shoos her away. The crowd boos as the ref forces Moss to move back.

Once Moss is back towards the center of the ring, Stevenson slips back in. Champion and challenger begin to circle the ring again before inching towards each other. They motion for a lock up, but Stevenson quickly hits a drop-step, go-behind before placing Moss in a rear waistlock. She keeps the hold applied until Moss reaches down, grabs her wrists and slowly pulls her hands apart before spinning out and reversing into a hammerlock. The cheers continue as Moss forces Stevenson’s hand up towards her neck. Stevenson yells out in pain as she remains trapped in the hold. She’s asked if she wants to give up. The champ refuses before trying to spin out and reverse into a hammerlock of own. But Moss blocks and keeps Stevenson in front of her.

Kris Cruise: Moss has already targeted the arm.

Stephy Auger: Yeah, the same arm that Izzy worked over last night. This is just another example of how unfair this whole situation is. It was nothing but a setup by Asherman, Anders and Moss. They were all in it together! Izzy softened up Cordelia last night and now, Lowri is going to try and finish the job. But she won’t because she’s just not good enough!

Stevenson remains trapped in the hold until she motions to her right before using her left arm to nail Moss with a back elbow to the face. The boos continue as Stevenson spins out and reverses into a hammerlock of her own. Moss remains in the hold until she reaches back, grabs Stevenson by the back of the neck with her free arm and escapes with a jumping snapmare. Stevenson lands on her feet before taking off into the ropes. When the champion returns, Moss knocks her down with a standing shoulder block to the right arm! She then takes off into another set of ropes. Stevenson kips up and leapfrogs over Moss. Moss continues to run the ropes. When Moss returns, Stevenson brings her down with a drop toe hold. She quickly rolls across Moss’ back before placing her in a grounded front facelock. Before Stevenson can really cinch down on the hold, Moss spins out and reverses into a grounded hammerlock. The crowd cheers as Moss applies more pressure to the hold by pushing Stevenson’s hand up towards the neck.

Kris Cruise: Moss finds herself back in control of the champion. Moss is a renown striker and she’s got the awards to prove it. But this is the winning strategy right here. She has to keep Cordy grounded and wear down a body part.

Stevenson can be seen kicking her legs as she writhes in pain. The ref asks the champ if she wants to give up. Stevenson refuses. So Moss delivers a quick knee drop to the hammerlocked arm. Moss hits another knee drop to the hammerlocked arm. She then delivers a handstand into a falling knee drop to the arm. Instead of keeping the right arm in a hammerlock, Moss transitions into an overhook. The crowd buzzes with anticipation as Moss tries to hook the other arm before flipping over into a bridging double chickenwing, but Stevenson is quickly able to scramble across the mat before getting her left arm hooked on the bottom rope.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Kris Cruise: Cordy was able to escape that attempt at the Severn Bridge from the challenger.

Stephy Auger: That is NOT where Cordelia wants to be.

Moss lets go of Stevenson and backs up towards the center of the ring. Stevenson gets up to a knee and shakes out the right arm. She then looks over at Moss and narrows her eyes.

Stevenson returns to a vertical base before her and Moss slowly inch back over towards each other. Moss reaches out and tries to grab the right arm, but Stevenson keeps it held just out of reach. Stevenson then baits Moss into going for the arm before quickly slapping on a side headlock with her left. The champion is quick to cinch down on the hold. Moss is asked if she wants to give up. She refuses. She then tries to push Stevenson off of her and into the ropes, but the champion keeps the headlock on tight. Moss tries to push Stevenson off a second time, but again, it’s to no avail. The challenger then catches the champion with three forearms to the ribs before pushing her off. Again, Stevenson keeps the side headlock applied. So Moss takes Stevenson, moves her into the near ropes and tries to get a running start before shoving her off into the far ropes. Stevenson counters by dropping down to a knee while keeping the side headlock applied. Moss gets down and asks Moss if she wants to give up. She refuses.

Moss slowly battles back to a vertical base. She goes to counter with a belly to back suplex, but Stevenson rolls over her shoulder, lands on her feet, spins Moss towards her and throws her down with a side headlock takeover. Moss remains on her back until she grabs Stevenson and reverses with a bridge & roll counter.

Moss scrambles back to a vertical base before getting caught in another side headlock. This time, Moss is able to break free by lifting Stevenson up and bringing her down with a shin breaker. The champion hobbles on one leg while Moss takes off into the ropes. When Moss returns, the crowd boos when Stevenson jumps off one leg and knocks Moss down with a dropkick. She makes the cover.

Moss howls in pain while the ref gives the champ until five to break the illegal hold.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Stevenson transitions back into a rear chinlock. When Moss refuses to quit, Stevenson yanks back on the chin. She keeps the hold applied before gauging Moss’ eyes from behind!

Kris Cruise: Cordelia’s really pushing her luck here!

Stephy Auger: If she really wanted to be petty, she would get herself disqualified and keep her title on a technicality.

Stevenson breaks the illegal hold and slips the rear chinlock back on. The ref starts to scold Stevenson, but his admonishment is met with a roll of the eyes from the champion. He then asks Moss if she wants to give up. Moss refuses. Moss starts to shaking her fists as she feeds off the claps from the crowd. The challenger slowly turns over to her knees before battling back to a vertical base. Stevenson gets caught with an elbow to the midsection. A second elbow finds its mark. After Moss buries a third elbow to the midsection, she takes off into the ropes. Moss comes off the rebound and slows to a stop once she sees Stevenson run past her into the same set of ropes. When Moss turns around, the crowd boos when Stevenson comes off the ropes and drops her with a Rolling Elbow!

Kris Cruise: Good Lord, what an elbow!

Stephy Auger: Lowri got rocked!

Moss sits up and holds her jaw while Stevenson hits the ropes. The boos continue as the champ comes off the ropes and flattens Moss with a front dropkick. She makes the cover.

Offended that Moss dared to kick out at one, Stevenson quickly gets back to her feet before delivering a spinning boot scrape across the face. The boos continue as she yanks up Moss, places her in a side headlock and rakes her face across the top rope. Moss gets slammed face-first into the top turnbuckle. Stevenson turns her around and lights up her chest with a series of knife edge chops. She then takes Moss and delivers an irish whip across the ring. Stevenson runs across the ring to attack, but Moss turns her around with a boot to the face. Stevenson staggers away from the corner, then quickly turns around and runs back in. This time, Moss knocks her back with a back elbow to the face. The crowd cheers as Moss runs out of the corner before bringing her down with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Moss returns to her feet before hitting the ropes. Stevenson goes to counter with a back body drop off the rebound, but Moss slips down from behind. Moss places her in a rear waistlock before Stevenson runs forward, wraps her arm around the top rope and yanks back. After Moss falls down to the mat and rolls back to her feet, Stevenson runs over to attack. The crowd cheers when Moss throws her down with a japanese arm drag. A second japanese arm drag returns the champion to the mat. Moss takes Stevenson delivers an irish whip and follow her across the ring. Stevenson barely comes off the ropes until a dropsault from Moss knocks her through the ropes to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Cordy’s been sent to the floor! Lowri could be setting up fo a dive here.

Moss heads into the corner and scales the turnbuckles. Down on the outside, Stevenson picks herself up off the floor. The champion turns, looks up and does a double take before Moss flips back and knocks her down with a moonsault!

​​Kris Cruise: The high risk pays off for the challenger! She has to get her back inside and make the pin, though!

Stephy Auger:

The cheers continue as Moss rolls Stevenson back inside. She then rolls herself back in and makes the cover.

Moss takes Stevenson, heads into the corner and goes to slam her face-first into the top turnbuckle. Stevenson blocks by getting her foot on the middle rope, elbows Moss and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. The boos continue as she turns around and unleashes a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. The boos grow louder when Stevenson follows up with a hard slap.

Kris Cruise: Oh come on!

Moss slowly turns back to Stevenson and gets piefaced.

Stephy Auger: Cordelia’s having her way with Lowri, just like I knew she wou-

Moss quickly takes Stevenson, tosses her into the corner and lights up her chest with a plethora of shoot kicks! The cheers continue as Moss sends her slumping down in the corner with the Scarlet Barrage (Alternating rapid-fire knife edge chops and forearms to a cornered opponent)! Moss reaches down, picks up Stevenson and delivers an irish whip. Moss runs across the ring before catching her with Just for Kicks (Running Big Boot to a cornered opponent followed by a Running Facewash)! The crowd is solidly behind Moss while she takes off into another set of ropes. Moss returns off the rebound and builds up speed before bashing Stevenson with a running bicycle knee strike to the face! She then drags Stevenson out of the corner and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Cordy had to learn the hard way about getting into a strike exchange with Lowri Moss!

Stephy Auger: It’s not over, Cruise. It’s going to make much more than that to beat our champion.

Moss picks up Stevenson and goes for a vertical suplex. Stevenson slips down from behind, pushes Moss off into the ropes and sets up for a back body drop on the return. But the back body drop attempt gets countered again. This time, with a kick to the face that knocks the champion upright. Moss doubles Stevenson over with a shoot kick to the chest before a Switchblade Kick drops the champion to a knee. Moss heads back into the ropes, returns and flattens Stevenson with a Shining Wizard! She then pulls the champion back up to a seated position before hitting the ropes. When Moss returns, she flattens Stevenson with a running bicycle knee strike to the face! The cheers continue as she makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Cordelia got caught again with that bicycle knee, but she escapes the pin at two. History is once again on the line here for Lowri. She’s already won the Mid-Atlantic Legacy, Pride, United States Tag Team and World Tag Team Titles. A win here tonight would make her both a Triple Crown and Grand Slam winner, joining the ranks of Fujiko Mine and her “mam” Izzy Anders.

Stephy Auger: Cordy isn’t about to let someone make history at her expense, so you can forget all of that.

Moss picks up Stevenson and pulls her into a standing headscissors. She’s about to go for a Cradle Piledriver when Stevenson counters with a standing double leg. The crowd boos the champion when she tries to go for Chandler Could Never (Scorpion Death Lock), but Moss uses the strength in her legs to push Stevenson down to the mat. After both grapplers scramble back to a vertical base, Stevenson throws out a running clothesline. Moss ducks. Stevenson’s momentum takes her into the ropes. The champion returns off the rebound and comes to a stop when she sees Moss run past her towards the crowd. Moss comes back and knocks Stevenson down with a Slice of Heaven (springboard enzuigiri)! NO! Stevenson counters with a dropkick in mid air!

Kris Cruise: What a counter by the champion!

Stephy Auger: You might think Cordelia’s looking past Lowri. But she’s got that little runt well-scouted.

Moss rolls out to the apron. The challenger pulls herself up using the ropes before a shoulder thrust through the ropes doubles her over. Stevenson goes to follow up with a Triangle DDT, but Moss steps back out of the way. The champion lands safely on her feet until Moss counters the Triangle DDT attempt with an STO on the apron!

Kris Cruise: Cordy got caught! Lowri counters with the STO, right onto the hardest part of the ring!

Moss takes Stevenson and rolls her back inside. She then rolls back in and makes the cover.

Moss pulls Stevenson back to her feet and goes after the hurt arm with an arm wrench. Moss wrenches the arm again. After a third arm wrench is delivered, Stevenson quickly reaches over and rakes her across the eyes. She then takes Moss, heads into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. Stevenson turns Moss around in the corner, climbs up to the middle ropes and nails her with a punch.

“BOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Stevenson looks out at the crowd before nailing Moss with another punch.

“BOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Stevenson looks out towards the crowd before connecting with a third punch.

“BOOOOOOOOOOO!”

The Undisputed Champion scans the crowd before raining down six more punches.

“BOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Stevenson motions for a 10th punch, but she stops herself. She taunts the crowd by giving them Moss’ “ILY” hand gesture.

“BOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Stevenson connects with the 10th punch. She then drops down and whips Moss into the far corner. The Undisputed Champion runs across the ring to attack until Moss ducks and dumps her over the top rope. Stevenson ands safely on the apron before hitting Moss with a rope-assisted gamengiri to the back of the head. Moss staggers away from the corner until Stevenson springboards to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and connects with a missile dropkick to the back of the head! Moss stumbles forward before falling through the ropes to the apron.

Stevenson sneaks out to the apron and crouches down as she positions herself a couple of paces behind Moss.

Kris Cruise: The champ’s setting up for something here…

The challenger is seen slowly sitting up on the apron as she holds the back of her head. After Moss uses the ropes to pull herself back up, the crowd gasps when Stevenson runs up from behind, jumps up and brings Moss down with a leaping reverse bulldog on the apron!

Kris Cruise: The back of Lowri’s head just smacked hard off the apron!

Stephy Auger: Quick, Cordy! Pin her!

The boos continue as Stevenson takes Moss and rolls her back inside. She then rolls back in before making the cover.

Kris Cruise: Cordy’s calling her shot!

Stevenson takes off into the far ropes. The Undisputed Champion picks up speed as she runs across the ring, leaps through the ropes and knocks Moss into the guardrail with a suicide dive! Stevenson rolls back inside and takes off into the far ropes. She runs back across the ring, leaps through the ropes and knocks Moss back into the guardrail with another suicide dive! Stevenson slides back inside before running back across the ring. She returns off the rebound and motions for a dive to the outside! Moss instinctively ducks, so Stevenson opts out of the dive and executes a tiger feint through the ropes. Moss stands back up before getting caught with a springboard pendulum dropkick through the ropes from the champion! Stevenson rolls back inside before scaling the turnbuckles.

Kris Cruise: Cordy’s not done!

Moss gets back to to her feet, looks up and gets knocked down by a Skytwister Plancha!

Stephy Auger: Go ahead and say it, Cruise. WHAT A MANEUVER!

Kris Cruise: …

The boos continue as Stevenson takes Moss and rolls her back inside. She then rolls back in, drags Moss away from the ropes and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: YET!?

Stephy Auger: But can we just take a second to marvel at the level that Cordelia is wrestling at. For nearly two years, she’s been untouchable. The woman just fought one of the matches of her life last night and won. Not even 24 hours later, she’s on the verge of winning yet again. This is the stuff that legends are made of, Cruise. So instead of booing Cordelia, how about you shower her with some praise?

Stevenson grabs a hold of Moss and turns so that they’re back to back. She continues to hold Moss in an inverted headlock before gyrating her hips. The crowd boos as Stevenson looks like she’s about to drop Moss with the Deadly Seduction (Rude Awakening). Instead, Stevenson lets go, takes off into the ropes, returns and drops Moss with a spinning heel kick to the back of the head! Moss pushes herself up to all fours until Stevenson hits the ropes, returns and knocks her onto her back with a front dropkick to the side of the head! She makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Cordy continues to target Lowri with strikes to the head.

Stephy Auger: I’m shocked she’s still standing.

Stevenson moves Moss into the corner before delivering an irish whip. The crowd erupts with boos when she gives Moss a taste of her own medicine with Just for Kicks! Stevenson adds insult to injury by delivering three more facewashes before applying a foot choke.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! F-

Stevenson breaks the choke. She then pulls Moss up into a font facelock before pulling her over towards the center of the ring. The boos grow louder when Stevenson teases the DNA Driver (Bloody Sunday)! Instead, she lets go of Moss’ arm before planting her with the Three Enemigos (three rolling DDTs)! She makes the cover.

Moss shakes her arm as she feeds off the energy of the crowd. Stevenson starts to shake her head in disbelief as Moss turns over to a knee. Once Moss battles back to a vertical base, Moss nails Stevenson with four elbows to the midsection. After the fourth elbow doubles Stevenson over and breaks the hold, Moss takes off into the ropes. Moss comes off the ropes and comes to a stop when Stevenson runs past her towards the same set of ropes. The crowd boos when Moss turns around and gets brought down with a step-up Tijeras! Moss quickly returns to her feet before getting dropped with a jumping calf kick. A second jumping calf kick from Stevenson knocks Moss back down. Moss gets back to her feet, turns and gets knocked back down with a one-arm handspring back (left) elbow! The champion returns to a vertical base takes off into the ropes. Moss gets up to a knee. She tries to get back to a vertical base, but Stevenson knocks her back down on the way up with The Friendzone (flying hip attack to a kneeling opponent)! The boos continue as the champion hits the ropes, returns and lands across Moss with a Rolling Senton before immediately following up with a standing moonsault double knee drop! Stevenson makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: How did she survive all of that!?

Kris Cruise: She’s a fighter, that’s why. Lowri won the Gold Rush Rumble in back to back years because she’s a fighter. She wouldn’t have climbed the mountain after being knocked all the way back down if she wasn’t.

Moss gets sent for the ride. When Moss returns, Stevenson sends her crumbling to the mat with a running font chop block. The boos continue as Stevenson heads over, lifts up Moss’ right leg and delivers several kicks to the back of the leg. Stevenson keeps the leg held up before dropping multiple knees into the back of the leg. The champion then drags Moss across the ring before placing her in a figure four leglock.

Stephy Auger: She’s softening up that keg, Cruise. If she gets the win here, then great. But you know what Cordelia really wants to do.

Kris Cruise: Oh, I know…

The ref asks Moss if she wants to give up. Moss refuses. As the ref continues to check in on Moss, Stevenson slowly reaches back and tugs on the bottom rope to apply more pressure.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Moss howls in pain while she’s trapped in the hold. The ref looks over and does a double take when he sees Stevenson pulling on the ropes. He immediately gets up, scurries over and knocks Stevenson’s hands off the ropes.

Stephy Auger: Hey! He can’t put his hands on her! See? What did I tell you! This was a biased referee sent here on Asherman’s behalf to screw Cordelia over!

Stevenson returns to her feet and stalks the official across the ring. After cornering the referee, Stevenson puts her finger in his face and warms him to never put his hands on her again.

Stephy Auger: That’s right! You tell em, champ!

Stevenson heads back across the ring and sees Moss trying to get back to their feet. The champion throws out a right hand. Moss ducks and counters with a forearm strike. Moss connects with another forearm strike! Stevenson gets caught with two more forearms until Moss leans back before cracking her with a lunging headbutt! NO! Stevenson counters with a Rolling Elbow! She then lifts up Moss’ right leg before throwing her down with a dragon screw leg whip.

Stevenson pulls Moss back to her feet. She hooks Moss’ right leg before delivering several clubbing strikes. Stevenson then alternates between pointed elbow strikes across the top of the leg and European Uppercuts to the back of the leg. The champion adds insult to injury with a slap across the face before bringing Moss down with another dragon screw leg whip. Moss sits up and holds her leg until she gets flattened with a front dropkick to the face. Stevenson holds out the right leg on the mat and steps on top of it before delivering a standing moonsault double knee drop across it!

Kris Cruise: Cordy’s going to town on that leg!

Stephy Auger: I told you what she’s setting up for…

The crowd erupts with boos when Stevenson steps through Moss’ legs, crosses them around hers and blows a kiss to her challenger before turning her over into a Scorpion Death Lock.

Stephy Auger: CHANDLER COULD NEVER!

Moss cries out in pain while she’s trapped in the submission. The ref gets down and asks Moss if she wants to give up. She refuses by shaking her head. So Stevenson starts to lean back to increase the pressure of the submission.

Kris Cruise: Lowri’s got to hang on! She’s got to keep fighting! She has to find a way to dig deep! She didn’t win back to back Rumbles just to lose here!

Stephy Auger: Well that’s too bad because that’s exactly what’s about to happen!

The official continues to keep a dialogue with the challenger. Moss is given multiple chances to quit. But Moss isn’t ready to throw in the towel. Stevenson pulls back on the hold again while shouting at Moss to tap.

Kris Cruise: Cordy’s really applying the pressure now!

Stephy Auger: It’s over, Lowri. JUST TAP!

Moss reaches out to her left and right, as well as in front of her. But she’s nearly smackdab in the center of the ring. There’s no easy way for her to escape the hold. Stevenson continues to shout at the challenger to tap out. Moss turns down another chance to quit before reaching out and pulling herself forward. The challenger grunts as she slowly pulls herself across the mat again. The crowd really starts to rally behind Moss as she drags herself across the canvas. Moss goes to drag herself even closer to the ropes until Stevenson sits up, drags her back towards the center of the ring and sits back down in Chandler Could Never.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Stevenson cackles at the crowd before leaving back to apply more pressure to the hold.

Stephy Auger: It’s over, Lower! IT’S OVER!

Moss cries out in pain while she’s trapped in the submission. Stevenson incites the crowd by mocking Moss’ cries. The ref asks her if she wants to give up. The crowd gasps when Moss starts to raise her hand up off the mat. Moss’ hand wavers up and down. The crowd grows uneasy as they feel a submission victory for Stevenson is near. So they do their damndest to convince Moss not to tap.

“NO!”

Moss turns down another chance to quit before dragging herself forward. Stevenson tries to keep Moss held in place. But Moss continues her trek towards the ropes. Stevenson starts to shake her head in disbelief while Moss scratches and claws her way across the canvas! The crowd waits with bated breath as Moss is this close to escaping the hold. Moss reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope! The crowd explodes with cheers after the rope break is issued. But those cheers are quickly replaced with boos when Stevenson refuses to break the hold.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE!

Stevenson continues to keep the submission applied.

Kris Cruise: Lowri reached the ropes! She has to let go!

Stephy Auger: No! Go ahead, ref! DQ Moss!

Kris Cruise: … Cordelia’s trying to get herself disqualified!?

The referee demands that Stevenson breaks the hold. She refuses by shaking her head. So the referee has to physically pry Stevenson off Moss.

Kris Cruise: Finally!

Stevenson immediately goes after the ref, who wisely retreats to the outside. The champion points her finger down at the official while she narrows her eyes at him.

Stephy Auger: What did she tell you before, you idiot!?
Stevenson heads over and starts stomping away at Moss. The boos continue as Stevenson is really putting the boots to the champion. Stevenson pulls down on the top rope while she presses her foot down across the back of Moss’ neck!

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Stevenson reluctantly lets go. She reaches down, pulls Moss up by the hair and whips her into the ropes. Moss returns off the rebound and ducks a clothesline before continuing to run the ropes. When Moss returns, she throws out a running clothesline. Stevenson ducks and heads towards the ropes. Both grapplers rebound off opposite sets of ropes and returns towards the center of the crowd. The crowd gasps when they lunge forward and collide in mid air with dueling crossbody blocks!

Kris Cruise: THEY’RE BOTH DOWN!

Stephy Auger: CORDELIA! GET UP!

Both Stevenson and Moss remain curled up on the mat. After checking in on champion and challenger, the ref starts his count.

While Moss remains on her knees, Stevenson gets back to her feet and takes off into the ropes. The champion returns off the rebound, hurls herself at Moss and knocks her down with The Friendzone (flying hip attack to a kneeling opponent)! NO! Moss rolls out of the way! Stevenson whiffs on the strike before tumbling across the mat. Stevenson rolls back to her feet, charges back over to Moss and gets her head snapped back with a bicycle knee strike! Spittle flies out of the champion’s mouth upon impact.

Kris Cruise: That bicycle knee just rocked the champion!

Stevenson remains dazed while Moss runs past her towards the ropes. Moss returns off the ropes, runs up from behind and connects with a bicycle kick to the back! Stevenson stumbles forward before collapsing across the middle rope. Moss turns and takes off into the far ropes. She builds up speed as she runs back across the ring and cracks Stevenson across the back of the head with a bicycle knee strike! Moss isn’t done! She runs back into the far ropes, returns, charges back across the ring and blasts Stevenson across the back of the head with another bicycle knee strike! Moss still isn’t done! The cheers continue as she hits the far ropes, returns and clocks the champ across the back of the head with a third bicycle knee! Stevenson drops to the mat before Moss makes the cover.

She then delivers another irish whip, follows Stevenson back across the ring and connects with another running European Uppercut! NO! Stevenson knocks her back with a boot to the face. Stevenson runs out of the corner and throws out a Rolling Elbow! Moss ducks, bounces off the ropes and catches Stevenson when she turns around with a Slice of Heaven!

Moss sends Stevenson for the ride. Stevenson returns and nearly gets thrown down with a back body drop. Instead, she slips down from behind. After getting placed in a rear waistlock, Moss heads towards the ropes, wraps her arms around the top rope and goes to yank back to send Stevenson flying off her. But Stevenson’s able to counter and bring Moss down with an O’Connor Roll!

Stevenson immediately gets up off of Moss and holds her hands up defensively. She shakes her head vehemently as she lies to the ref about cheating. While Stevenson and the ref continue to argue, Moss spins Stevenson around, doubles her over with a boot to the midsection and pulls her into a front facelock. The crowd erupts with cheers when Moss lifts the arm, lifts Stevenson up and plants her with the DNA Driver (Bloody Sunday)! She makes the cover.

Moss ducks the clothesline and takes off into the ropes. When Moss returns, she nails Stevenson with a running clothesline of her own! NO! Instead of the clothesline turning Stevenson inside out, Stevenson somehow flips through it, lands on her feet, heads to the ropes, rebounds back off the middle rope and drops Moss with an Oscutter!

Kris Cruise: THE REAL IS BACK!

Stephy Auger: YES! YES YES YES YES YES!

Stevenson steps out to the apron. She scales to the top turnbuckle before crouching down. Once Moss is finally back to her feet, Stevenson stands up, leaps off and brings Moss down with Get Familiar (The Eclipse)! NO! Moss blocks by stopping Stevenson from sitting all the way down and hitting the flying Stunner. The crowd cheers when she pulls Stevenson back to her feet, places her in an inverted front facelock and brings her down with the Nos Da (Rolling Cutter)! She makes the cover.

Moss looks over at the ref and holds up three fingers. When the official tells her it was only two, Moss collapse onto her back before covering her face with her hands.

Kris Cruise: LOWRI CAN’T LOSE FOCUS NOW!

Moss crawls over towards the corner before using the ropes to pull herself back up. She looks over towards Stevenson before waving the champion up. The waving gets faster and faster the closer Stevenson gets to returning to her feet. Once the champion is back to a vertical base, she slowly turns around. Moss then comes out of the corner and knocks her head off with Breuddwydion Melus (Superkick)! NO! Stevenson catches the foot, swings the leg away from her and counters with another leaping reverse bulldog.

Moss starts to stir on the mat as Stevenson turns over on all fours. When Moss turns over and gets up to her knees, Stevenson lunges over and nails her with a hard forearm strike across the jaw. She the pulls a groggy Moss back to her feet before pointing towards the ropes.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Stevenson heads towards the ropes to go for The Real is Back! But unbeknownst to her, Moss is right behind her! As soon as Stevenson springboards onto the middle ropes, Moss leaps onto the middle ropes, grabs Stevenson and throws her down with a release German Suplex! NO! Stevenson rotates in the air and lands on her feet! She runs back over to attack Moss until Moss slips out of the way and pushes Stevenson into the ropes. Stevenson ricochets off the ropes before Moss brings her down with a snap bridging German Suplex!

Kris Cruise: SEVERN BRIDGE! LOWRI’S GOT IT LOCKED IN!

Stevenson cries out in pain while Moss fights for the submission. The ref gets down and asks Stevenson if she wants to give up. The champion refuses. So Moss continues to pull on the arms to apply pressure.

Kris Cruise: LOWRI’S GOT IT LOCKED IN! CORDY’S GOT NOWHERE TO GO! WE COULD BE SECONDS AWAY FROM A NEW CHAMPION!

Stevenson starts to kick her legs in frustration as she lays helpless on the mat. The ref asks her once more if she wants to give up. Stevenson refuses. Moss remains undeterred and continues to fight for the submission. Stevenson continues to yell out in pain… until she shakes her head. The ref asks Stevenson if she wants to give up! The champion continues to not her head. The capacity crowd comes unglued when the official calls for the bell.

Moss rolls over into the prone position. She can be seen crying as she buries her face in her hands.

Kris Cruise: LOWRI MOSS HAS SCALED TO THE TOP OF THE FGA MOUNTAIN! SHE WON THE GOLD RUSH RUMBLE LAST YEAR, FAILED AT THIS VERY EVENT AND HAD TO START FROM SCRATCH. BUT SHE CLIMBED THAT MOUNTAIN AGAIN, WON THE RUMBLE FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW AND HAS DETHRONED CORDY STEVENSON! SETH ISER COULDN’T DO IT! FUJIKO MINE COULDN’T DO IT! IZZY ANDERS, THE FORMER NEAL DURDEN, SAVANNAH TAYLOR, THEY ALL COULDN’T DO IT! BUT LOWRI DID! LOWRI MOSS IS NOW A TRIPLE CROWN WINNER! SHE’S NOW A GRAND SLAM CHAMPION! LOWRI MOSS IS NOW THE NEW FGA UNDISPUTED CHAMPION! INCREDIBLE!

Moss slowly gets up on her knees. The ref heads over, kneels down in front of her and hands her the Undisputed Championship belt. Moss can't believe her eyes. She runs her hands over the surface of the belt. She still looks up at the ref, almost asking if it's really happening. When the ref nods, Moss gladly takes the championship and hugs tight.

"YOU DESERVE IT!"

The new champion continues to be showered and cheers and applause from the capacity crowd. All-Star Showdown X fades out with Moss posing in all four corners as the brand new FGA Undisputed Champion...
