"Hey Sandy" by Polaris
RING ATTIRE:
Jillian will wrestle with her hair down, save for novelty/gimmick matches (i.e., cage, cell) for her own protection. She will typically sport a black or deep blue sports bra-style top bearing the name SATCON in multicolor. Lacks elbow pads unless otherwise needed/stated. Jillian typically tapes her wrists with black tape. She currently sports long tights with matching boots, either in black or a deep blue, featuring understated multicolored “star” shapes. Because space. And the cosmos. Obv.
RING ENTRANCE:
The lights in the venue dim, and multiple green-and-blue lasers illuminate the interior of the building with what appear to be starlight, giving its ceiling the look of a planetarium. Through the darkness, we see silhouettes rising from their chairs in curiosity.

Polaris’ “Hey Sandy” explodes across the PA system as the house lights explode to life, casting shades of blue and green across the venue as Jillian Clay emerges from the back. She has a distant gaze, lips not quite forming a smile on her face as she sways toward the ring, looking around at the faces surrounding her.
ANNOUNCER: [Announces]
Jillian Clay climbs up onto the apron and pauses, glancing out at the audience in the attendance. Clay lingers there with one foot on the turnbuckles for a few seconds before she finally climbs up to the center, pointing her thumb and index finger toward the sky. Clay looks up until she closes her eyes for just a moment, muttering something to herself before she swings herself into the ring over the ropes. Slowly, she raises her head, pushing her hair out of the way of her face as the music fades.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND
PERSONALITY:
Impressionable. Jillian is different depending on which day of the week it is. Her mood changes drastically and quickly. Currently, Jillian tends to be a lot more reserved. She’s observant, distant, somewhat uninviting, and seems fixated on the personalities of Sadie San Francisco and Jaelynn Ramsey-- often imitating their behavior. This could change at the drop of a hat.
STRENGTHS:
1. Unwavering mf confidence - Every movement is very deliberate. Very rarely will Jillian talk herself out of any maneuver that’ll put her in the driver’s seat.
2. Conditioning - Jillian, perhaps surprisingly, is naturally very athletic-- more-so than her tag partner. She often “leads” in tag matches because of her above-average stamina and endurance.
3. Memory - Outside of the ring, Clay has a sharp (and photographic) memory that helps in everyday life. Inside the ring, she’s able to utilize this to adapt her fighting style against opponents in longer matches/rematches, etc.
WEAKNESSES:
1. Reckless - The repercussions and consequences of her actions aren’t always considered. Her moveset and habits often put her in harm’s way.
2. Distracted - Prob hears voices in her head-- can’t confirm. But beyond that Clay is somewhat susceptible to distraction, especially in singles competition.
3. Preparation - Though she may be briefed on opponents by Nando beforehand, Clay doesn’t have the same passion for studying opponents. This might often leave her at a disadvantage with people she’s never faced, especially veterans.
TAUNTS/MANNERISMS:
1. Raising the index and middle finger together toward the sky, as if communicating with some unseen force.
2. Pointing the index and middle finger together toward an opponent (typically when singling someone out, or before a final blow.)

BACKGROUND:
Jillian was born in Duisburg, Germany on Christmas in 1994, to Margaret (Maggie) Clay, a once-wealthy English socialite with an unknown, totally probably legal, occupation and Wilhelm Malte, a much-younger German man who worked, often-remote, for the United Kingdom embassy-- according to presumably falsified documents, because Jillian is from Saturn, obviously. Obviously.
Curiously, Jillian’s mother was 49 at the time she gave birth, and her father 28 years of age. Maggie had a son, Harlan Aleksander Clay, born seventeen years prior to Jillian, but little information is available on his biological father. In 1995, Maggie Clay fell ill and was deemed unable to care for Jillian before ultimately being institutionalized in ‘96, diagnosed with schizophrenia. Clay was relocated to Bonn, Germany to live with her father, though he too fell ill in 1996, and with no able-bodied surviving relatives, sent Jillian to the United States shortly after her second birthday, leaving Clay with virtually no memory of her parents.
Harlan Clay, nineteen years old and in college had just moved to Chicago before taking on the responsibility to raise his young sister. With the assistance of his freeloading stoner friends, he did it. She turned out kinda weird but he did it.
At least this is the story we’ve come up with based off of a combination of implanted memories in Jill’s head and a series of lies by these people called family. She actually spent her childhood as a weightless ball of light, energy, and sound, hovering somewhere around the outermost rings of Saturn, but held firmly in place by the magnetosphere. During a storm in the planet’s skies, strong winds sent Jillian flying from her homeland, where her body was solidified and she hitched a ride on space junk all the way to 90’s Earth, where she took the form of a human and was lucky to survive this weird ass planet’s harsh conditions. READ A BOOK.
Clay proved to be a quick-learning athlete at small SoCal-based venues as she learned to wrestle but still never found great success. During a San Diego-based booking, Clay would meet Nando Fresno: Alien Hunter, forming a bond with the man sworn to expose and exterminate her Saturnian people. In typical pro wrestling fashion, they joined forces to become one of wrestling’s first interplanetary tag teams. But probably not the first. Because wrestling lol.
Before officially debuting as a team with Fresno, Jillian was signed to Portland Pro Wrestling, marking her first official contract with a wrestling promotion-- though the company went on hiatus two weeks later, before the card featuring her first match was announced. Though obv bummed like shit by the setback, it allowed Nando to reach a point in his own training where he felt comfortable enough to debut alongside her. Like, finally.
Known collectively as the Saturnian Connection, Clay and Nando were first active in New Kingdom Pro (NKP), which brought Clay back to her “home” country for the first time since she was a baby. They feuded with the likes of the Canadian Chainsaw Massacre, the Keisters, GBH, the SBWC, LAX Bros Corp, and once they ran out of acronyms, they feuded most violently with Project Venom. Though the two ventured into singles competition during their tenure, they were most successful as a duo. Their biggest achievement was winning a briefcase that guaranteed them a Tag Team Title opportunity at any time, which they successfully cashed in against LAX Bros, only to lose the Tag Team Championships the next month to the SBWC. And they were doing so fucking well.
Then Clay tried to enter this tournament which had representatives from like, every part of the world. And she repped Germany and went in there. She did aight. But she just wasn’t john blaze enough to get it done. Ty won it. That wadjethehop dude. Nando was pissed. Jill was blown. I mean, shit got pretty grim there for a sec lol, but we don’t have to talk about that. We won’t talk about that.
They prepared for a move back to Cali as they tried to sell their German home. And they were living with Nando’s parents for a little bit, and that was weird, but then Nando got his own place with some goddamn non-believers, and Jill got a place like, right across the street, and that worked out pretty well. During this time, Jillian wrestled a few matches for the World Crown Syndicate. Though her singles matches didn’t produce anything of note, Jillian did befriend wrestler Novak (another potential extraterrestrial) to the chagrin of Fresno. Clay even eventually teamed with Novak at World Crown Syndicate events, though the alliance was short-lived as WCS began to wind down its operating schedule.
And then your girl got invited to the new and improved Portland Pro Wrestling and she brought Nando along with her. Because sometimes shit just works out. They went to PPW, and they were doing pretty piss poor at first. It was highkey embarrassing. BUT THEN they turned it around and they showed that they were actually a pretty mf good team. Clay, once again, found herself largely partnered with Nando, rarely ever seeing singles action in Portland. They fought, and had varying success with teams such as the Havoc Kids, Warriors of the Orient, the Samoan Death Machines, Team Hot & Trashy, Project Nightfall, and others-- but their most noteworthy feud came against the Corrupted Suns.
Jillian and Novak had history dating back to 2017, and apparently a “connection” that Nando failed to understand. Regardless, the two teams would often fight violently, seemingly linked to one another even as they moved onto other battles. Eventually, Clay won the PPW Tag Team Championships alongside Nando, defeating Nightfall Rising and reigning champions the Havoc Kids in a triple threat match at Hawthorne Havok in October 2019. They successfully defended the titles against both teams later in the year and held the championships for roughly four months until finally losing them to Nightfall Rising in another triple threat bout on Portland Pro’s final episode of Breakdown before the company went on hiatus in February 2020.
During their time in Portland Pro Wrestling, Jillian and Nando infrequently wrestled for Frontier Grappling Arts, both as a tag team and as singles competitors. Jillian’s most notable singles match came in January 2020 in Adelaide, Australia, competing against Ricky Valero. Valero-- who would later be revealed as the man to brutally ambush Evan Envi in October 2019, leaving him out of action for five months. While Valero acted like a ho and routinely pinned the evidence on Saturnian Connection, antagonizing the group for three fuckin months, Nando, an unshakable G, worked tirelessly to clear their name. In the meantime, Clay, growing tired of the emotional abuse, challenged Valero to a match-- and even attacked him with a chair beforehand. Though Jillian was unsuccessful against Valero in the ten-minute contest, Nando was immediately able to reveal Valero as the culprit through stolen video evidence.
During the feud with Valero, Jillian developed a less-hesitant, harder-hitting ring style. This was evident in a tag team match where the Saturnian Connection surprised and upset the reigning Tag Team Champions, Silk & Cyanide. The win earned SATCON a United States Tag Team Title match, though they fell short at Grapple Kingdom 2020. The pair worked pretty closely with longtime friend Sadie San Francisco after that, even though she was clearly gettin’ kinda sketch these days. She kept asking SATCON to do shit like sorta-kinda interfere on her behalf and maybe-somewhat help fight some battles for her, but whatever, friends ask for awkward shit sometimes, so they carried on. Nando and Jill picked up some tag team wins here and there, and eventually fought Pendragon to a time limit draw on an episode of Vertigo, which saw Nando injure his foot and ankle, putting him on the shelf for a couple of months, giving Jillian a brief opportunity to spread her wings-- show her true colors and stuff.
Well, to Nando’s fucking dismay, Jillian’s true colors are whatever Sadie’s true colors are. And Sadie decided they should join up with Jaelynn Ramsey and form a stable, which Jill thought was a great idea. Immediately, Jaelynn and Sadie assaulted Ashley Sands, injured Antoinette Sands, and ambushed Nina Stokes-- the latter being done with Clay’s assistance. It’s going great.
