If you are going to do an interview, cut out the middle man, at least that is the James Edwards philosophy, which is why FGA viewers find him standing alone in the interview area backstage.

James Edwards: Let's talk about facts. The fact is, last year at this time, I was on my way to losin' the biggest fight of my life at Final Frontier as a disputed number one contender. Here's another one for y'all. This year I had the same chance until scheduling got in the way.

Edwards shrugs matter of factly.

James Edwards: I can't help that, though. The same way I can't help what happened last year or the way I got a shot at Chandler. There ain't any way I can change past, so why focus on some sort of bullshit redemption? Fact is, I've only got one option leadin' up to the new biggest fight of my life against the best wrestler in the world: focus on what's in front of me.

Edwards crosses his arms, more out of habit than uncertainty.

James Edwards: That's what I did at Above & Beyond. I couldn't help the fact that my competition had more momentum than I did. The same way, there wasn't damn thing I could do about my busted ribs. I had to take things one moment at a time, every hope killin' kick out or potential knockout shot from Cure or Madison, just for an opening that might not happen. I stayed calm. I kept fightin' and pushin' forward, and then it happened. Cure was down for the count, and Madison didn't know where the hell I was. One stomp and one Gospel later, and I had the chance I was yellin' and poutin' for all of last year.

The memory of his past misdeeds causes James to briefly hesitate, but taking his own advice, he brushes the thoughts aside.

James Edwards: I wish I could stay in a celebratory mode like a lot of folks do in this situation, drunk on my success and overconfident enough to promise to shock the world. I ain't makin' that mistake again. This time is the time to put one foot in front of the other and just worry about that. It's time to put in the hard work to prepare for my shot at the most prestigious belt in North America today. It's time to test myself every week to see what I gotta do to get better, and speakin' of that I need to go get ready to fight Seth Iser. Y'all have a good one.

After a nod of his head, Edwards walks out of the picture, his eyes on his feet.

The camera is focused on the ringside area and there’s a buzz among the crowd that pops when “"Destroy 2000 Years of Culture" by Atari Teenage Riot hits! Your winners of the 2019 Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament, the Hellcat Spangled Death Squad have arrived! Anastasia Hayden, the newly crowned 4CW Champion, throws up her shaka gesture for the crowd before marching down to the ring with Lisa Seldon. The two pop up onto the apron where Ana holds the ropes open for Lisa and then follows her partner inside the ring.

Lisa doesn’t waste any time collecting two microphones from a ringside crew member and passing one off to Ana, who looks to get this started.

Anastasia Hayden: Look at us, back again so soon. And for good reason. We came into FGA off the streets, we had no idea what DDT3 was going to hold in store for us, but whatever came before us, we weren’t going to waste an opportunity to add another accomplishment to our name. And we didn’t. We beat your favorites. We beat the ones you hated. We beat everyone!

Despite it sounding not too endearing, the crowd reacts pretty favorably to Anastasia’s remarks with Lisa supporting her.

Anastasia Hayden: And we’re back here tonight because we aren’t finished. We were given a choice of which set of titles we wanted to go after. Would we want to go after the United States Tag Team Championships? Or perhaps we’d want to go after the FGA World Tag Team Championships. A lot for us to chew on after winning DDT3, but after some careful consideration, we’re here tonight to lay down the gauntlet.

The buzz is reaching its peak as Anastasia draws out the moment and annoyingly builds up the suspense.

Anastasia Hayden: Lisa and I have decided that we want…

Lisa Seldon: The Welsh pricks.

Anastasia Hayden: ...That’s right, we want Pendragon!

The mention of Lowri Moss and Neal Durden’s team draws a big response from the fans as the history between the Hellcats and Lowri’s association with Wrestling, Innit? has been well documented throughout the last year.

Anastasia Hayden: Back at Autumn Annihilation, Lowri said there were only one set of belts worth fighting over, only one choice to make. And she wasn’t wrong. We’ve crossed paths with Lowri back in Rose City, but I’ve always wanted a match against her when she’s in her element. No matter place than FGA. No better titles to fight for than the FGA World Tag Team Championships.

Ana nods, agreeing with her own words.

Anastasia Hayden: So Lowri, Neal? We're going to keep it real sweet and simple. We’ll be seeing you two real soon.

With that seemingly being everything that needed to be said, Ana drops her microphone and Lisa does as well, after getting in her one and only dig. The duo pose for a crowd hot at the prospect of Pendragon and the Hellcats going to war. After their time in the spotlight is up, the two head out of the ring, and it’s time for something else to take over.

Our scene opens in a dimly lit dressing room. Traveling back and forth along the white wall in the far side of the shot is a feminine figure. Somebody stands beside her, arms crossed, but motionless.

??: We know... We know… we know...

No longer still, the second figure reaches forward-- grabbing a hold of the camera and turning it toward him, revealing Nando Fresno: Alien Hunter. The pacing figure behind him is Jillian Clay, wearing a look of discontent, visible even though she hasn’t yet stopped to face the camera.

Nando Fresno: It looks bad. What happened to Evan Envi at the end of 2019 could easily be pinned on the Saturnian Connection. We acknowledge that. We’ve had a lot of time to think about what happened, and the scope of our involvement, and what happens next. And the thing is-- we shouldn’t have to worry about what comes next because we didn’t do it. We didn’t attack anyone.

Nando shakes his head, looking down for a moment before his eyes find the camera again.

Nando Fresno: We shouldn’t have to waste resources on this. We were wrongfully accused.

He says it calmly, shifting his weight to rest more comfortably in front of the camera.

Nando Fresno: So we’ve had to launch our own investigation to clear our names. No one else is going to do that for us-- so we’ll do it.

Jillian continues to pace in the background and Fresno looks down for a moment, contemplative and silent for seconds before he continues.

Nando Fresno: But you can’t be allowed to get away with what you did, Ricky Valero. You put your hands on me and that’s entirely forgivable… that’s the nature of this world we’ve thrust ourselves into, but there will be retaliation. Unlike you, we’ll be a little bit more direct though. We have the courtesy to issue a challen--

Jillian Clay: Vertigo.

Jillian stops pacing, marching up to the camera. Her eyes reflect bitterness. Tiredness. Nando nods a bit in the background.

Nando Fresno: Yeah. Vertigo, Ricky. Jillian has her heart set on having this match. Teaching you a lesson. I told her I was against it at first but-- now I’m just intrigued. Guess we’ll just have to hope it gets made official.

Nando leans forward, narrowing his eyes.

Nando Fresno: But in the meantime, I’m going to spend every waking second making sure that the next time I see you, I have a name for you. And trust me, we’re not doing this out of kindness. We’re doing it to make you look completely foolish. Because while you’re focusing on us, there’s somebody out there that hates Evan enough to take him out of commission-- and you honestly think the same thing can’t happen to you?

Nando scoffs.

Nando Fresno: Keep your eyes open, Ricky.

Clay shakes her head slightly, her gaze never breaking from the camera. Nando reaches up behind the lens and our scene snaps to black.

CHAMPION vs. CHAMPION
(c) Tyler Storm vs. (c) Ace Voltage

Voltage and Storm lock horns with a collar-and-elbow to start things off. After an initial struggle, Voltage is able to move Storm against the ropes. Once the official calls for both grapplers to break it up, Voltage tries to cheap shot Storm with a right hook. But Storm ducks, tosses Voltage against the ropes and goes to town with a flurry of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena! Voltage is then shot off into the far ropes before being tossed to the mat with a back body drop. A pair of yakuza kicks return Voltage to the mat before he’s sent back into the ropes with another irish whip. Storm throws out a bicycle kick. But he does so too early, allowing Voltage to hang onto the ropes. He then drops down to the floor before slipping to the outside. The Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion tries to take a breather and regroup. But Storm isn’t about to give him time to rest. So the Pride Champion rolls to the outside and gives chase. Both grapplers lap the ring until Voltage rolls back in. Storm slides back in behind him, but he’s quickly et with multiple stomps to the back! The crowd lets Voltage have it after he points to the side of his head.

Voltage moves the action back into the ropes and returns the favor with multiple knife edge chops of his own. He goes to follow up with a vertical suplex when Storm blocks and counters with a vertical suplex of his own, sending both men tumbling over the top rope and to the floor! The official rushes to the outside and checks on both men. Both grapplers appear to be shaken up. Once they return to a vertical base, they start to trade forearm strikes until Storm overpowers him with a flurry of forearms. The crowd cheers when Storm attempts an Alabama Slam on the outside. But Voltage is able to block by hanging onto the ropes for dear life. Storm then lowers Voltage back down and quickly gets caught with an eye rake soon after. Voltage then places Storm in a headlock and drags him face-first across the edge of the apron. The boos continue when he slams Storm face-first into the steel steps before pushing him back into the ring.

Back inside, Voltage slams Storm face-first into the top turnbuckle before lifting him up with a flurry of jabs. After Storm gets whipped into the far corner, Voltage heads across the ring, connects with a clothesline and follows up with a running bulldog out of the corner for a two count. A vertical suplex gets another two count. Voltage brings Storm back up before throwing him down with a back suplex for yet another two count. The crowd starts to really let Voltage ave it as he circles Storm and delivers stomps to each limb. Voltage then targets Storm’s right leg with several stomps before delivering repeated elbow drops across it. He tries to apply a sharpshooter. But Storm uses the strength in his legs to power out and push back. After Voltage crashes back-first into the corner, Storm slowly turns over and gets back to a vertical base. He massages his knee before running over as best as he can to the corner. But Voltage is easily able to counter with a back elbow to the face. Voltage goes to follow up with a running lariat out of the corner when Storm counters with a Slingblade for a two count.

As the match continues, Storm shoots Voltage into the ropes with an irish whip. He catches Voltage off the rebound with a Sleeper Hold before transitioning into a Backdrop Driver! The ref gets down for the count. ONE! TWO! Voltage gets his shoulder up. Storm brings Voltage back down with a swinging neckbreaker for another two count. Storm is then doubled over with multiple knees to the midsection before Storm hits the ropes. The Pride Champion comes back and throws out a Scissors Kick. But he whiffs when Voltage slips out of the way and counters with a Reverse DDT for a two count. Voltage then sits Storm up and returns the favor with a Sleeper of his own. The capacity crowd is quick to rally behind the Pride Champion. Storm turns down several opportunities to quit before battling back to a vertical base. Four elbows to the midsection break the hold before Storm takes off into the ropes. Voltage tries to cut him off with a dive to the knees. But Storm avoids the tackle by hurdling over him. The Pride Champion continues to run the ropes, return and nearly knocks the wind out of Voltage with a spear! He makes the cover. ONE! TWO! T-NO! The crowd sighs when Voltage gets the shoulder up.

Storm continues his comeback with alternating knife edge chops and forearms. A spinning forearm strike rocks Voltage and knocks him against the ropes. He then sends Voltage back into the far ropes. Storm looks to catch him with another back body drop when Voltage stops and hooks both arms. Voltage looks for a Butterfly Suplex when Storm breaks free of the double underhook and counters with an Alabama Slam! The crowd cheers when Storm returns the favor by delivering stomps to each limb. He then follows up with a standing elbow drop right to the heart! He goes for the lateral press. ONE! TWO! T-NO! Voltage gets the shoulder up. Voltage is brought back up and is met with another round of forearms. Storm goes for another spinning forearm when Voltage counters with a Samoan Drop! He reaches back and hooks the near leg. ONE! TWO! T-NO! Storm gets the shoulder up.

Voltage sets up for an irish whip, only for Storm to reverse and catch him off the rebound with a jumping knee strike. While Voltage is dazed, Storm heads towards the ropes, bounces back and knocks him off his feet with the Hardcastle Treatment (springboard roundhouse kick)! Voltage is then lifted up for the Bite Wound (Crucifix Cutter). But after kicking his legs, he’s able to slip down from behind. He applies a rear waistlock to set up a German Suplex. But Storm counters with multiple back elbows to the face. After a standing switch, he doubles Voltage over with a European Uppercut to the back of the neck. Storm pulls Voltage back up before bringing him down with the Hybrid Crackdown (inverted headlock into Rolling Elbow)! The crowd is at a fever pitch as Storm feels the end is near. He yells out to the crowd “PREPARE TO…!” The crowd takes their cue from the champion and responds with “... BE WITNESS!” After the call and response, Storm goes to finish things off. But Voltage is no longer in the ring. The crowd erupts with boos as Voltage heads over to the timekeeper’s table and snatches up his Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship. Voltage mouths off to the crowd and Storm while he clutches the back of his neck. The boos continue as Voltage makes his way up the aisle and gets counted out by the official. Storm gets his arm raised in victory. But this is not the way he wanted this match to end. Voltage raises his Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship in the air at the top of the ramp, where he’s once again met with boos. The boos quickly turn to cheers when Voltage turns around and finds himself face to face with Chaz Holiday. Chaz just shakes his head and shame and lets him know that that isn't how a Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion conducts himself. Ace brushes past him and storms off.

Winner: Tyler Storm

Dramatic music plays as the muscular frame of a man flashes across the screen for a split second before it goes dark and the music ceases.

A graphic appears with the word “DRINK.”

A much clearer frame of the man flashes across the screen, and the music plays again. He is wearing a navy blue pinstripe suit with a red tie and a matching fedora. The screen goes dark and the music ceases again.

This time a graphic appears with the word “MORE.”

The music resumes and the screen shows a frame of the man taking off his fedora, before picking up a glass and taking a drink.

The music stops and the frame cuts to black, with a graphic displaying the word “WATER.”

When the music resumes the screen cuts to a shot of the same man, shirtless and tattooed, standing in the rain. A camera pans in closer before slowly fading, rain drops distorting the lens.

A final graphic displays the phrase “COMING SOON” before going to black.

A frame comes in on the titantron, the background coated in darkness and a chain-linked fence with production crates draped in black sheets. The crowd doesn't know what to make of it, but a few cheers can be heard throughout the crowd in anticipation. Slowly there can be footsteps heard walking down this isolated space. Slowly, but surely, a man comes into frame, that man? Jimmy Page. The fans explode into cheers, as a laser-focused Jimmy Page, clad in a black hoodie, black shirt, and faded blue jeans appears onscreen. In his hand, he twirls around the railroad spike that was used to almost impale Savannah Taylor at Autumn Annihilation, and in his other hand, a mic. Page paces back and forth, the crowd building up their cheers and chants as the former FGA champion tries to collect his thoughts. He comes to a halt and lifts the microphone to his lips.

Jimmy Page: If there's one thing, one thing I don't think I'll ever get over...is hearing that. Hearing that people care enough to see me back that's--

Page pauses and keeps his eyes locked on the ground. He cracks a tiny, faint smirk and shrugs.

Jimmy Page: Y'know, when I was out, um, I had to visit a neurologist. I hope a lot of you don't have to because it's scary. It's scary when they do their tests, and they come back and tell you, "Well Mr. Page, from the labs we've run, you're developing partial vision loss in your left eye. If you take anymore head injuries you might run the risk of going completely blind in the next year."

Page scoffs and blinks three times in disbelief.

Jimmy Page: "Blind," they said. They told me...that I would have to retire...and um...

The fans boo at the thought.

Jimmy Page: I told'em, "Doc, there's some things I gotta take care of first before that happens. So if that's the risk, I'm willing to take it for the one thing in my life I owe the world to. I owe the fans and pro wrestling a helluva lot, and I'm going to repay that debt no matter what!" and so here I am, standing before you, blurry-eyed, beaten down, can hardly feel anything on my left side, telling you, the men and women in the back, and SAVANNAH FUCKING TAYLOR IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL I SAY IT'S OVER!!!!

The fans explode at Page's determination.

Jimmy Page: You see Taylor, you just don't get it, not one bit! Yeah, you beat me, and I'll humbly say that without hesitation in my voice! But there's one thing you don't do, and it's something people like you will never understand: You don't kick a dog while he's down. And you kicked me plenty of times in our First Blood Match, so many times that you put me on the shelf for the entirety of the Summer and the better part of Fall! And just when you thought you got rid of me, I find a way to come back! And when I come back I like to make a statement about it.

Page lifts the railroad spike up to the camera so the entire world could see.

Jimmy Page: Whether this spike was planted in your head or into that damn turnbuckle, it didn't matter to me as long as you got my message. I planted my flag as a declaration of war. You made it more than this, it could've just been a match, it could've been two competitors giving their all in that ring out there, but you made it something bigger than that. You wanted to establish yourself like the queen, but all I see is a usurper without a crown. You don't gotta worry about the title, put that in your rearview for now, because ahead of you is me!!! You're speeding into your inevitable demise, and there's nothing anyone can do to stop this collision!! I'm gonna tear you apart, I'm gonna tear the very foundation that makes you who you are to shreds, and I will leave nothing of you that people can remember you by!!! THAT'S MY DECLARATION!!!

Page is seething with rage, his nostrils flare up into a scowl as he trembles. But slowly, he calms down, pacing again he scratches the side of his head with the top of the spike.

Jimmy Page: But that's just not enough. See, me saying this probably doesn't carry a lot of weight. You've heard it, you've faced it, you know what I'm about. So as I contemplated this, I thought, "What is the purest form of war that I can convey to her? ...What...?!" and as I thought, and thought, and thought...three words kept coming into my head; Three lone words that send shivers down my spine each time I hear it. A faint voice kept saying...

"CHIVALRY IS DEAD."

The fans erupt at the match name, knowing all too well what this meant.

Jimmy Page: It didn't have to be this way! You kept insisting on pushing me, and you kept pushing!!! Now?! Now I'm pushing back, and this time you're not getting back up from it! So say your prayers, talk to whatever God will listen, because I'm coming for your soul, Taylor!!!

Page stares down the camera lens, he tosses the mic down on the ground and then walks off screen scratching his head with the railroad spike. The camera fades, fixed on the dark background as we finally go to break.

James Edwards vs. Seth Iser

The match begins with both Edwards and Iser staring each other down in the center of the ring. Despite his actions for most of last year, the crowd is actually behind Edwards in this encounter against Wrestling’s Greatest Mind. Iser continues to express his disproval to Edwards’ face regarding his actions as US Champion last year. The Burning Heart continues to take Iser’s verbal abuse until he reaches his breaking point. Edwards has enough and responds with a forearm shiver to the face! Edwards catches him with another forearm before Iser responds with a forearm of his own. Edwards connects with another forearm strike, followed by another forearm from Iser. Edwards answers back with a pair of forearms before placing him in the clinch, moving him into the corner and delivering alternating knee lifts. The Burning Heart follows up with the Double Tap (consecutive spinning backfists), sending Iser slumping down in the corner. Edwards reaches down, pulls Iser back up and sends him into the far corner with an irish whip. He then runs across the ring to follow up with an attack when Iser counters with a Stun Gun across the top turnbuckle! The crowd boos when Edwards bounces face-first off the top turnbuckle before staggering back and ultimately collapsing to the canvas.

Edwards shakes out the cobwebs and turns over to a knee. He tries to stand back up, only to get knocked right back down to the mat with a Wrestling II Knee Lift! Iser continues his assault after he hits the ropes and returns with a jumping knee drop. Iser adds insult to injury by grinding his bulky knee brace across Edwards’ face! He makes the cover, but Edwards kicks out at two. Iser then snatches Edwards off the mat before bringing him back down with a vertical suplex for another two count. Iser then moves the match into the corner and lights up Edwards’s chest with knife edge chops. Edwards responds with a forearm strike before Iser lights him up wit another trio of chops. The Burning Heart blasts Iser with another forearm strike. Another forearm finds its mark, then another! Edwards then switches positions with Iser in the corner before going to town with Kesagiri Chops to the side of the neck. He then brings the former Pride Champion out of the corner and goes for an irish whip, only to get quickly reversed. Iser then catches Edwards off the rebound with the Pillar of Truth (Bossman Slam) for another two count.

The match continues as Edwards is tossed through the ropes and onto the apron. Iser pulls Edwards back to his feet and goes for a vertical suplex back inside. The Burning Heart, however, is able to block it. The crowd gasps when Edwards looks to vertical suplex Iser off the apron and to the floor. But Iser is back to block by kicking his legs on the way up, forcing Edwards to lower him back down. Iser then lifts Edwards up in the air. Instead of falling back to hit the vertical suplex, Iser keeps him held in place. The former Pride Champion takes a few steps back, when Edwards starts to knee him in the head. Iser then makes his way into the corner and lowers Edwards down onto the top rope. He follows up with a hard right handed punch that rocks The Burning Heart. While Edwards tries to shake out the cobwebs, Iser climbs to the middle ropes. He tries for a superplex when Edwards blocks it. Iser goes for another superplex attempt. But once again, Edwards is able to block it. As soon as Iser lets go of him, Edwards responds with another flurry of forearm strikes. The last forearm has enough behind it to knock Iser off the ropes, sending him crashing to the mat! While Iser remains down, Edwards starts to stand up on the top turnbuckle. He measures the distance and leaps off for a diving headbutt… only to miss when Iser rolls out of the way!

Edwards struggles to pick himself up off the mat, only to get caught with a running boot to the face that nearly takes his head off! Iser makes the cover. ONE! TWO! Edwards gets his shoulder up. Iser pulls up Edwards and sends him stumbling back into the ropes after a hard irish whip. While Edwards tries to gather his bearings, Iser hits the far ropes, comes back and sends Edwards over the top rope with a lariat! Iser exits to the floor and throws Edwards around with three release belly to belly suplexes! Edwards is then rolled back inside before Iser makes the cover. ONE! TWO! Edwards gets his shoulder up. The Burning Heart gets sent into the far ropes before finding himself on the receiving end of a spinebuster! Iser quickly rolls across Edwards and hooks the near leg for the cover. ONE! TWO! T-NO! Edwards gets his shoulder up. Iser then pulls Edwards back to his feet before whipping him hard into the corner. After crashing back-first into the corner, Edwards staggers back over towards Iser, who brings him down with a pendulum backbreaker. Edwards lays writhing in pain while Iser makes his way towards the corner. Wrestling’s Greatest Mind scans the crowd before climbing the turnbuckles. The fans in attendance rise to their feet as they sense the end is near. Iser scales to the top turnbuckle, flips back for a moonsault and gets countered when Edwards gets his knees up! Iser bounces off the knee before curling up. Iser guards his midsection while Edwards tries to return to a vertical base. The official continues to check on both participants until Edwards gets back to his feet first. The Burning Heart looks over and sees Iser slowly pulling himself up using the ropes. Before Iser can turn to face his opponent, Edwards hooks him from behind before throwing him down with the RRE (rear reverse exploder)! Edwards makes the cover. ONE! TWO! T-NO! Iser gets his shoulder up.

Edwards pulls Iser back up by his beard before unleashing a flurry of forearm strikes. After rocking Iser with the Double Tap, Edwards goes for a jumping cutter. He’s about to pull Iser down when Iser counters by shoving him off into the ropes. Edwards then comes back off the rebound and throwing Iser down to the canvas with an STO! The Burning Heart returns to the ropes, comes back and hurts Iser with a leaping double foot stomp to the midsection. With Iser down, Edwards heads back out to the apron before scaling the turnbuckle. Edwards leaps off for another attempt at a diving headbutt… and connects! He goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! THNO! The crowd sighs when Iser gets his shoulder up. Edwards takes Iser and whips him into the ropes. The Burning Heart catches him off the rebound and looks for a Death Valley Driver. Before he can be driven down to the mat, Iser hits him with multiple elbows to the side of the head. Iser slips down from behind and sets Edwards for a German Suplex when Edwards returns the favor with multiple elbows to the face. Once the rear waist lock has been broken, The Burning Heart follows up with a jumping cutter! He makes the cover. ONE! TWO! THR-NO! Iser gets his shoulder up.

The Burning Heart sets up Iser for the Half Cut (half nelson suplex) when Iser rushes towards the side of the ring and wraps his free arm around the top rope. Iser then cheapshots Edwards as soon as he breaks the hold. The former Pride Champion rushes over to attack when Edwards knocks him back with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Edwards then runs over to attack when Iser ducks and dumps him over the top rope and to the floor. Iser then exits to the floor and lines Edwards up for a lariat. Once Edwards is back to his feet, Iser rushes over to attack when Edwards ducks and counters with savate whip kick. After whipping Iser into the guardrail, Edwards charges down ringside before sending them both over the guardrail with a leg lariat! After Edwards pulls Iser back to his feet, the two trade forearm strikes throughout the crowd while the official counts them out.

Spencer Burke: FGA fans, joining me at this time is none other than Executive Committee member, Leonard T. Asherman.

The announcement of the senior member of FGA's hierarchy is met with cheers from the Charlotte crowd. Asherman makes his way into the camera shot and exchanges pleasantries with the longtime backstage interviewer.

Leonard T. Asherman: How are you this evening, Spencer?

Spencer Burke: I'm doing great, sir. It's a pleasure to see you, as always. Speaking of "seeing you," this is a rare appearance for you here on FGA programming.

Asherman nods.

Leonard T. Asherman: Why yes, it is. I have firmly believed that the paying fans in the stands and at home want to see some of the best professional wrestling in the world. They want to see wrestlers wrestle, not men of authority like myself take up valuable time on their programming.

Spencer Burke: Understandable. I believe it's been over two years since we've seen you on an FGA show.

Leonard T. Asherman: Yes it is and hopefully, this ends a lot better than it did the last time.

A nervous Asherman looks behind him. His statement is an obvious nod to when he was attacked by Izzy Anders two years ago. Spencer peers around Asherman to look down the hall.

Spencer Burke: I believe the coast is clear, sir.

Asherman exhales a sigh of relief.

Leonard T. Asherman: Thank you. As I stated before, I'm not here to take up time. We've got a tremendous main event on our hands that I'm sure will deliver. But I do have an important announcement to make. As you know, it was with great sadness that we have to cancel this year's Frontier Lions Cup. The Frontier Lions Cup is one of this company's staple events, right up there with the Gold Rush Rumble and the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament. Congratulations to The Hellcat Spangled Death Squad one again on their win. I know all of our fans were looking forward to seeing someone join the ranks of A.J. Fairchild, Sean Sands, Cordy Stevenson, Sunshine Scandalous Tony Carmine, Chandler Scott and Evan Envi as winner of this tournament. Unfortunately, we will all have to wait until the back half of 2020 for the next FLC to take place. But taking place much sooner will be the Wildcard Lottery.

The crowd pops at the announcement. Spencer does a double take before asking for confirmation.

Spencer Burke: Did you just say the Wildcard Lottery?

Leonard T. Asherman: Indeed I did, Spencer. The Wildcard Lottery was something that the Executive Committee came up with some three years ago to determine the vacated FGA World Championship. This time around, we will be using it to determine the number one contender to either the FGA World Championship...or the International Heavyweight Championship. Ms. Stevenson knows all too well what this tournament entails and I'm sure some longtime fans and members of this roster do, as well. But, for our newer fans out there, the concept it simple. All eligible members of the FGA roster will be placed into a lottery drawing. 16 names will be chosen at random. The first round will consist of four tag team matches, with grapplers being teamed up in the order that their names were selected. The quarterfinals of the tournament will see those advancing tag team partners face each other in singles competition.From there, we will continue with the semifinals and finals of the tournament until one grappler remains. That individual will win $100,000, in addition to having their choice of challenging for one of FGA's top championships at Only the Strong Survive.

Spencer Burke: Ladies and gentlemen, whenever we see or hear from that man, big things are underway and boy did he ever just drop a bombshell on us right here. The FGA Wildcard Lottery returns in 2020 to crown a new number one contender to either the FGA World Championship or the International Heavyweight Championship! This is an opportunity of a lifetime! Guys, back to you.

vs.
Savannah Taylor, Ashlyn De Luca, Sadie San Francisco, Mark Bisley

After all eight participants have made their entrances, Cordy Stevenson and Savannah Taylor start things off for their respective squads. The current and former International Heavyweight Champions can be seen jawing at each other in the center of the ring. The capacity crowd is eating up this confrontation between the two. Things get turned up a notch when Taylor shoves Stevenson back, which garners an “oooohhhhh” from the crowd. Saint Sexy comes right back to the Taylor and piefaces her, sending the Las Vegas Siren back towards the ropes. Another “oooohhhhh” from the crowd is followed by cheers and laughs. Taylor takes exception to Stevenson’s disrespect and motions to march over and attack… until Ashlyn De Luca reaches over the top rope and slaps Taylor on the shoulder to tag herself in.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

De Luca steps in through the ropes and points her thumb behind her, motioning for Taylor to take a hike. The Las Vegas Siren narrows her eyes at De Luca before exiting the ring. De Luca then turns her attention to Stevenson. The former two-time World Tag Team Champion saunters over towards Saint Sexy. Stevenson meets De Luca in the center of the ring for a staredown. Cordy reminds De Lucz of her words from earlier. But De Luca pays her no mind. Instead, she shoos Cordy away from her before pointing over into her corner. The crowd explodes with cheers when the cameraman pans over and reveals Fujiko Mine being the one De Luca is pointing at. Stevenson then turns and plays up to to the crowd. She faces each section of the crowd while pointing to the reigning FGA World Champion. With the crowd eating out of the palm of her hand, Stevenson heads over and tags Fujiko in.

Fujiko and De Luca circle the ring before locking up. They jockey for position until Fujiko starts to overpower De Luca. The Apex Goddess moves De Luca over towards the ropes until De Luca pivots and presses Fujiko against the ropes. Once a clean break has been made, the crowd erupts with boos when De Luca piefaces Fujiko. Fujiko wipes her face before heading back over for another lockup. Both grapplers jockey for position until Fujiko moves De Luca across the ring. Once again, De Lucz switches positions at the last second and presses Fujiko against the ropes. After the ref informs then to break it up, both grapplers appear to make a clean break… until De Luca cheap shots Fujiko with a punch to the side of the neck, dropping her down to a knee.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Fujiko looks over at snickering De Luca while she holds the side of her neck. The Apex Goddess gets off her knee, marches back over and locks up with De Luca once more. Fujiko quickly muscles De Lucz across the ring and against the ropes. While the official is calling for a clean break, De Luca switches positions and presses Fujiko against the ropes. The official continues to call for a rope break. But De Luca and Fujiko remain tangled up in the collar-and-elbow. After the official pulls De Luca off of Fujiko, De Luca takes a swipe at Fujiko with another punch to the neck. This time, Fujiko ducks and counters with a handstand calf kick. While De Luca is dazed, Fujiko hits the ropes, returns and brings her down with a running hurricanrana. De Luca returns to her feet, only to get returned to the mat with a running dropkick. A second running dropkick knocks De Luca back down. Fujiko throws out a third running dropkick when De Luca slips out of the way. De Luca tries to catch Fujiko with a bicycle kick while she’s getting back to her feet. But the Apex Goddess is able to get her hands up at the last second and catches De Luca’s foot. She then knocks De Luca to the mat with a leg sweep and goes to follow up with a standing moonsault. De Luca rolls out of the way. But Fujiko is able to land safely on her feet. She then gets leapfrogged by De Luca as she runs the ropes. Fujiko returns and catches De Luca with a handspring rebound enzuigiri. With De Luca on all fours, Fujiko returns to the ropes, comes back and flattens her with standing Shooting Star Press across the back for a two count.

The crowd explodes with cheers when Fujiko moves De Luca into her corner before tagging in Stevenson. The International Heavyweight Champion hits De Luca with four shoot kicks before sending her slumping down in the corner with The Foot Fetish (jumping back kick)! Stevenson pulls up De Luca by the hair and whips her into the far ropes. After bringing De Luca down with a drop toe hold, Stevenson hits the ropes, returns and catches her with a snap leg drop across the back of the neck for a two count. Cordy pulls De Luca back up and goes for a vertical suplex when De Luca counters with a Stunner. While Cordy tries to pick herself back up, De Luca hits the ropes, comes back and throws out a scissors kick. At the last second, Stevenson slips out of the way, grabs De Luca and chucks her through the ropes. De Luca then starts to pick herself up on the apron when Stevenson plants her with a Triangle DDT! Cordy plays up to the crowd before turning around and getting caught with a running punt kick to the face from Taylor!

“BOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

The Las Vegas Siren stares down at Cordy while Bisley leaps off the apron and puts the boots to Cordy. Taylor then turns around and sees the Apex Goddess charging towards her. Taylor goes to counter with shoulder thrust through the ropes with Fujiko flips over her and takes out Bisley on the floor with a somersault hurricanrana! Te Las Vegas Siren is quick to take out Fujiko with an Asai Moonsault before Ashley Sands runs along the apron, runs to the top turnbuckle, flips off and knocks her down with a moonsault to the floor!

With their respective teammates sprawled out on the outside, Nina Stokes and Sadie San Francisco stare each other down from opposite corners. The crowd gasps when the reigning United States Champions and her number one contender slowly enter the ring. The crowd is solidly behind San Francisco as she stares down with Stokes in the center of ring.

Sadie forms the slightest smirk upon hearing the ovation from the crowd. The Kodiak, however, pays them no mind and instead blasts San Francisco with a huge boxing forearm. The Pope shakes out the cobwebs and turns to face Stokes, only to get caught with another boxing forearm strike. Stokes proceeds to move San Francisco across the ring and against the ropes with a palm strike flurry. From there, Stokes hooks San Francisco’s arms around the top rope before unleashing repeated shoot kicks to the chest. The US Champ then unhooks Sade’s arm and goes for an irish whip when The Pope reverses. Stokes comes back and ducks a spinning backfist from San Francisco before stopping on a dime and catching the former 15 Campion with the Divine Night (elbow smash). Stokes catches San Francisco with two more elbow smashes before knocking her against the ropes with a front push kick to the chest. The Kodiak tries to catch San Francisco off the rebound with a discus elbow smash when The Pope ducks, runs towards the side of the ring, leaps through the ropes and knocks Sands down with a suicide dive!

San Francisco rolls back inside to go after Stokes. But as soon as she tries to get up off her knee, Stokes is right there to catch her across the side of the head with a bicycle knee! Stokes then pulls San Francisco back to her feet, places her in a rear waist lock and goes to deliver the Chaos Theory (turnbuckle smash into backroll German Suplex)! After driving The Pope sternum-first into the turnbuckle, Stokes rolls back and heaves San Francisco over her head to complete the German Suplex… only for Sadie to rotate and land on her feet. She runs back over to attack Stokes when Stokes counters with a fireman’s carry gutbuster. While San Francisco writhes in pain on the mat, Stokes hits the far ropes, returns and goes for a jumping senton when San Francisco counters by getting her knees up. The cheers grow louder when San Francisco turns Stokes over into Our Lady of Sorrows (Regal Stretch)! The Pope keeps the submission applied until Cordy breaks it up with a rolling senton!

The FGA World Champion takes Sadie and whips her into the ropes. Upon her returns, she slides through Stevenson’s legs. When Cordy turns around, Taylor flies off the top turnbuckle and knocks her down with a missile dropkick for a two count! Saint Sexy is then shot into the far ropes. Upon the return, she sees Taylor setting up for a back body drop. So she counters with a kick to the face, knocking Taylor upright. Cordy then turns to hit the far ropes when Taylor reaches out and grabs a hold of her tights. The crowd erupts with boos when she yanks Cordy back over towards her before throwing her down with a snap Dragon Suplex! Bisley gets tagged in and immediately targets Cordy’s head with the Iko Uwais (cravat with repeated knees to the head), followed by Greetings from the Twin Cities (hangman’s neckbreaker across the knee) for a two count. Bisley then moves Cordy into the corner and hits her with the Minnesota Buzzsaw (repeated shoot kicks to the chest). After Cordy is sent into the far corner with an irish whip, Bisley runs across the ring to attack when Stevenson ducks and dumps him over the top rope. Bisley lands safely on the ropes before taking two swipes at Cordy. The FGA World Champion ducks each punch before doubling him over with a shoulder thrust to the midsection. Cordy then goes for another Triangle DDT. This time, it gets blocked when Bisley hangs onto the middle ropes for dear life, causing Cordy to slip off Bisley and fall hard to the outside.

Taylor and De Luca immediately pounce on Cordy on the floor with multiple stomps before rolling her back inside. While Cordy is down in the ring, Bisley makes it a point to point over at Sands and make the belt motion around his waist. Sands looks over at her 15 Championship at the announce table before turning her attention back to “Smart” Mark. Sands motions for Bisley to come over if he wants to fight her. Bisley opts to continue going to work on Stevenson. Bisley looks right at Sands as he hits a snap suplex for a two count, then a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for another two count. Bisley then catches Cordy off an irish whip rebound with an overhead belly to belly. While Cordy rolls herself out to the apron, Bisley exits out to the apron on the opposite side of the ring. Bisley once again gets into it with Sands. Before Sands motions to make her way over towards him, the official instructs her to keep her distance. Bisley then heads back inside and goes to hit Cordy with a Slingshot DDT on the apron. But she returns the favor by hanging onto the middle rope, causing Bisley to slip off and hit the floor. Bisley returns to his feet. But he’s quickly caught with a back kick to the face that knocks him back. De Luca goes over to attack Cordy, but she gets caught with a back elbow to the face. With Bisley in position, Cordy takes him out on the floor with a springboard skytwister plancha! Cordy brings the action back inside and makes the cover. But De Luca is right there to break it up with a stomp to the back.

Sands gets tagged in and whips Bisley into the corner. After catching him with a spinning heel kick, Sands brings him out of the corner with a Tornado DDT for a two count. Bisley is then brought back down with a forward russian leg sweep before Sands hits the ropes, comes back and flattens him with a Shining Wizard for a two count. Bisley is brought back down with a swinging neckbreaker before Sands hits the ropes, returns and delivers the Wind Whisper (rolling senton) for yet another two count. Sands then whips Bisley back into the corner before charging in for the Wind Kick (running boot kick in the corner). At the last second, Bisley gets his hands up and catches her foot. Bisley then shoves Sands down to the canvas. One Sands rolls herself back up to her feet, Bisley rushes out of the corner and hits her with the Anaconda Bite (superkick to an opponent's leg followed by a superkick to the kneeling opponent)! Bisley then hops back out to the apron, scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and crashes down across Sands’ legs with the Sapienza (frog Splash)! ONE! TWO! Sands gets her shoulder up.

Bisley heads over and tags Taylor back in. The Las Vegas Siren scales to the top turnbuckle. She measures the distance before flipping off and crashing down across Sands with a corkscrew moonsault! She hooks the leg. ONE! TWO! T-NO! Sands gets her shoulder up. The former International Heavyweight Champion heads back into the corner. She stares down at De Luca’s outstretched hand. Taylor looks back up and narrows her eyes at De Lucz before tagging her in. The crowd boos as De Luca scales to the top turnbuckle. She then rope walks halfway across the top rope before leaping off for a diving leg drop. She misses! Sands rolls out of the way, causing De Luca to catch nothing but canvas! De Luca tries to pull herself across the ring while Sands slowly turns over towards her corner. De Luca is a step faster and tags out to The Pope. Sands looks up and sees Cordy, Fujiko and even Stokes with their hands. Sands then dives over… and tags Stokes back in!

The crowd is at a fever pitch when the US Champion and her number one contender meet in the center of the ring to exchange forearm strikes. Both grapplers continue to trade blows until Sadie gain the upperhand. The Pope continues to fire away strikes until she takes off into the ropes. Whens he returns, she sees Stokes run past her into the ropes. So Sadie stops on a time. When she turns around, she gets caught with another bicycle knee! While Sadie is seemingly out on her feet, The Kodiak turns and takes off back into the ropes. When Stokes returns, The Pope returns the favor with a bicycle knee of her own! While Stokes is rocked, San Francisco blasts her with a spinning backfist! Another spinning backfist connects across the face of the US Champion! The Pope goes for a third spinning backfist when Stokes blocks and counters with a Cobra Clutch Suplex! She makes the cover. ONE! TWO! Sadie gets her shoulder up.

San Francisco is thrown down with a snap Saito Suplex before Stokes hits the ropes. The Kodiak comes back and hits a jumping senton, then a second, followed by a third! After Sadie is yanked back to her feet, Stokes doubles her over with multiple knees to the midsection before bringing her back down with another fireman’s carry gutbuster! The cover gets made. ONE! TWO! TH-NO! Sadie gets her shoulder up. Stokes with another lateral press. ONE! TWO! TH-NO! Sadie gets her shoulder up again. But Stokes isn’t done. She pins her once more. ON-NO! Sadie kicks out to an explosion of cheers from the crowd. Stokes pushes back at the challenge from Sadie by leaping to her feet. She quickly reaches down, snatches a hold of The Pope’s wrist and hits her with repeated wrist lock face kicks! After Sadie gets yanked back to her feet, Stokes pulls San Francisco towards her, hooks both arms and rattles off a trio of trapping headbutts. After the last headbutt, a dazed San Francisco drops to a knee once Stokes lets go. Stokes sees Sadie in perfect position for Amidst the Shadow of Sorrows III (Boma Ye Knee Strike)! So she turns and takes off into the ropes. When Stokes returns, Sadie jumps up and nearly takes her off off with a bicycle kick! She makes the cover. ONE! TWO! T-NO! Fujiko breaks up the pin.

As the match continue, The Pope sets up for an Exploder Suplex when Stokes elbows her way out of it. She then hits Sadie with an elbow smash. Sadie comes back with an elbow of her own. Stokes nails Sadie with another elbow smash. The Pope answers back with another elbow of her own. Stokes nails Sadie with two forearms. The Pope answers back with three forearms. The Kodiak comes back with four elbow smashes. She then throws out a rolling elbow smash when Sadie ducks. Sadie then returns the favor with Stokes ducks. The Kodiak and The Pope then connect with rolling elbow smashes that drop each other to the mat!

All three members of each team are calling for a tag while Stokes and San Francisco attempt to shake out the cobwebs. The capacity crowd is at hot as its ever been as they eagerly anticipate which side will get tagged in first. After striring on the mat, both Stokes and San Francisco turn over before dragging themselves across the ring. The Pope and The Kodiak continue to scratch and claw their ay across the canvas while their teammates are dying for a tag. The crowd erupts with boos when San Francisco dive over and tags Taylor back in. As soon as Taylor steps back in through the ropes, the crowd explodes with cheers when Stokes rolls forward, dives over and tags Fujiko back in!

The capacity crowd cheers at the top of their lungs while the fists fly between the Apex Goddess and the Las Vegas Siren. Both grapplers continue to trade blows until Taylor starts to gain the upper hand. After a spinning backfist catches Fujiko, Taylor turns and hits the ropes. When she returns, she sees Fujiko run past her towards the ropes. The crowd cheers when Taylor stops, turns around and gets caught with a handspring rebound ace crusher! Fujiko makes the cover. ONE! TWO! TH-NO! De Luca dives off the top for a Frog Splash… only for Fujiko to roll out of the way, causing De Luca to crash down across Taylor! De Lucz gets up on her knee and looks down at Taylor, who is curled up on the mat. De Luca gives Taylor a shrug before Fujiko runs back over and speaks her with a basement hurricanrana! The Apex Goddess turns her attention back to Taylor before shooting her off into the ropes. When she returns, Fujiko knocks her off her feet with 4-Play (running single leg dropkick)! She goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! TH-NO! Taylor gets her shoulder up. Fujiko immediately grabs the arm, gets back to her feet and throws out Sealed With A Kick (grounded arm pull roundhouse kick), only for Taylor to lean out of the way and counter with a schoolboy. ONE! TWO! Fujiko kicks out.

Fujiko reverses an irish whip, sending back Taylor into the ropes. When she returns, she sees Fujiko setting up for a back body drop. So she counters with the Emerald Weapon (corkscrew neckbreaker)! The boos continue as Taylor throws Fujiko down with a snap Dragon Suplex before following up with a cross legged fisherman neckbreaker! She makes the cover. ONE! TWO! T-NO! Fujiko gets her shoulder up. Taylor takes Fujiko and whips her into the corner before rushing across the ring and delivering a corner back elbow! The Las Vegas Siren then pushes Fujiko out of the corner as she heads into the far ropes. Taylor returns off the ropes before throwing her down with a Slingblade! She makes the cover. ONE! TWO! TH-NO! Fujiko gets her shoulder up. Taylor picks up Fujiko, scoops her up from the side and brings her down with a running backbreaker before heading into the corner. The crowd stands up as Taylor scales to the top turnbuckle. The Las Vegas Siren flips off and and connects with a Phoenix Splash! She hooks the leg. ONE! TWO! THRE-NO! Cordy dives over and breaks up the pin!

Cordy picks up Taylor and hits her with multiple right hands before taking off into the ropes. The FGA International Heavyweight Champion returns off the ropes and brings Taylor down with a step-up Tijieras. Saint Sexy returns to her feet and plays to the crowd until De Luca knocks her down from behind with the Syxx Kick (Running Double Spinning Wheel Kick)! The crowd erupts with boos as De Luca taunts Cordy. The booing continues until Sands spins De Luca towards her and brings her down with Into Dust (Codebreaker)! Sands then runs over and tries to hit Bisley with Into Dust when Bisley counters with the Paul Krause (Bisley sidesteps a leaping opponent and catches them with a shinbreaker)! Bisley then returns to his feet, turns around and gets returned to the mat with a running roundhouse from from Stokes. Stokes once again rushes over and trade blows with San Francisco until she sends her into the far ropes with an irish whip. Stokes goes to catch her with a back body drop off the rebound when The Pope slips down from behind. She’s got Stokes set up for Vanity (Unprettier)! But Stokes is able to slip out and counter with the Requiem Aeternam (Inverted Implant DDT)! Stokes then grabs a hold of Taylor and lifts her up for a fireman’s carry gutbuster. Before Stokes can hit the move, Taylor counters with multiple elbows to the side of the head. She then slips down from behind, spins Stokes towards her and then plants her with the Siren’s Song (Scissored DDT)!

The Las Vegas Siren turns her attention back to Fujiko. Taylor crouches down and waves Fujiko up. The capacity crowd buzzes with anticipation as Fujiko slowly pulls herself up using the ropes. The Apex Goddess stumbles back over towards Taylor, who immediately lifts her up onto her shoulders. The crowd gasps when Taylor tries to set her up for A Cruel Angel’s Thesis (One handed Electric Chair Driver)! But Fujiko is able to wrestle her arm free and counters with punches to the top of the head. After slipping down from behind, Fujiko shoves Taylor forward across the ring, where Bisley makes the blind tag. Taylor returns and throws out a running bicycle knee strike, only for Fujiko to slip out of the way, hop onto her shoulders and counters with a Poison Rana! The Blissbringer returns to her feet, turns around and gets caught with a springboard lariat from Bisley! The boos continue as Bisley pulls up Fujiko, lifts her up across his shoulders and then brings her down with Blind Destiny (Canadian backbreaker rack dropped into double knee gutbuster)! Fujiko is then pulled back to her feet before being placed in a three quarter facelock. Bisley sets the World Champion up for the Move of the Year (Shiranui) when Fujiko shoves him forward. The crowd explodes with cheers when Cordy dives off the top turnbuckle and hits the Get Familiar (The O-Face)! A dazed Bisley bounces off of Cordy’s shoulder, turns and gets dropped with The Bliss (backflip flash kick)! Fujiko goes for the cover. ONE! TWO! THREE!

Winner: Fujiko Mine, Cordy Stevenson, Nina Stokes, Ashley Sands

On the outside, a salty looking De Luca argues with Taylor and blames her for not getting into the ring in time to break up the pin. Taylor has words for De Luca until De Luca turns her attention to the scene in the ring. De Lucz shakes her head in disgust at the sight of Stevenson and Fujiko getting their arms raised. Cordy welcomes De Lucz back inside. Even Fujiko goes over and sits down on the middle rope for her. De Luca just narrows her eyes at them both before heading up the aisle. Back inside the ring, the FGA World Champion and International Heavyweight Champion get their arms raised in victory. Fujiko looks over at Cordy’s International Heavyweight Championship belt while Cordy looks down at Fujiko’s World Championship belt. Both Fujiko and Cordy slowly raise their respective champions high before closing out the show with a handshake.
