MOVESET
WRESTLING STYLE:
1. Hard Striker
2. Swarmer/Counter Puncher
Patient, efficient, and above all else, violent. James is the rare striker in professional wrestling that prefers to wait and exploit an opening in an opponent’s defense rather than empty the tank for an early victory. He wants the shots from his fists and feet to matter, so they aren’t flashy, or in his mind, wasteful. James loves suplexes and drivers but saves them for late in a match for maximum damage or as a counter. He thinks chain wrestling is unnecessarily showy as well, and as a result, prefers chokes and joint locks. However, he only goes to the mat if he’s rocked and thinks a quick submission is the only way he can win. High-flying moves are rare and used as a last resort.
FINISHING MOVES:
1. Violent Genesis - a ripcord spinning back fist.
2. Violent Revelation - a bicycle high knee to an opponent's chin.
3. Violent Salvation - a running chop elbow to the head of a sitting or standing opponent.
4. Violent Gospel - a running PK kick to the head of a kneeling or sitting opponent. Considered by many to be the most infamous kick in wrestling, the Gospel is James’ ace move and the one his opponents are most familiar with. As a result, he is keeping it stowed away for when he needs it the most. On occasion when James’ hatred for an opponent is strong enough he’ll use two Gospels to put them away. (Big Match Only)
5. Violent Dreams- a combination triangle choke/arm bar. (Big Match Only)
TRADEMARK MOVES:
1. Double Tap - a pair of spinning back fists.
2. Half Cut - a half-nelson suplex
3. RRE - a reverse release exploder suplex that serves as a prelude for the VG or VS.
4. Specialty Kicks- there are four: Fire From Heaven (Discuss Roundhouse), False Gospel (Feigned VG into a reverse roundhouse), Double Take (Jumping Switch) and Pole Shift (Rebound Wheel)
5. Speciality Brainbusters- there are three: Foxfire (Fisherman Brainbuster), Wildfire (Butterfly Brainbuster), and Brushfire (Sleeper Brainbuster).
6. Long Way Round- a pump handle lift into a snap Death Valley Driver.

ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
ENTRANCE MUSIC:
"My Name is Human" by Highly Suspect
RING ATTIRE:
Long black tights with either a royal blue stripe or scratch mark going down the legs and the words "Burning Heart" on the seat of the pants in royal blue lettering. Also in the ring, James wears black MMA gloves, black kick pads, and black boots. On the way to the ring, James wears a black hoodie similar to the ones UFC fighters wear on their way to the Octagon; his has "Burning Heart" on the back in royal blue lettering, it also has a small Kentucky state flag and Bald Eagle feather on the left breast and on the right breast are the four logos (Fight One, Seattle Pro, UWL, and Lion's Road) of the companies he has won a world title in.
RING ENTRANCE:
The house lights go down, and the arena stays black during the garbled opening guitar riff, then, "Okay." Strobe lights move with the easy beat of the song. James appears at the top of the ramp with the hood on his ring jacket up. He takes a few moments survey everything before him. The hood goes down with the opening lyrics. Moving with the meandering pace of the music, his eyes never leave the ring. He laps the squared circle, slides under the bottom ropes, and bows martial arts style to all four corners before settling into his own.
CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRANCE:
The house lights go down, and the arena stays black during the garbled opening guitar riff, then, "Okay." Strobe lights move with the easy beat of the song. James appears at the top of the ramp with the hood on his ring jacket up. He takes a few moments survey everything before him. The hood goes down and the jacket is unzipped to reveal the INSERT CHAMPIONSHIP with the opening lyrics. Moving with the meandering pace of the music, his eyes never leave the ring. He laps the squared circle, slides under the bottom ropes, and bows martial arts style to all four corners before settling into his own then unstrapping the belt and placing it on his shoulder.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
PERSONALITY:
In the ring, James' fighting spirit and striking prowess earn him the respect of the audience and peers. Out of the ring, his disdain for wrestlers who treat the sport as a means to become a celebrity or who cheaply play to the crowd have earned him the reputation as a killjoy and hasn't made him popular in the locker room. Nor is his habit of calling a situation as he sees it, even if he is wrong or it messes with the chemistry of a potential team. He has a strong distrust of authority figures due to his experiences with men like Aiden Morgan in Fight One, Bobby Barrabas in Underground, and Brandon Macdonald on FGA Vertigo. With that said, if the boss leaves him alone, James is a model employee who keeps to himself and prefers to stay out of trouble.
STRENGTHS:
1. Striking- He may not be recognized as such in year-end voting, but ask anyone who has been in the ring with James and they will tell you he is not only one of the best strikers in FGA but in the entire sport of professional wrestling. He possesses a frightening combination of foot/hand speed and power that is supplemented by his ability to change pace; James can go from an all-out swarming attack to a deliberate counter style on a whim depending on the pace of the match.
2. Not Easily Rattled- In a big fight situation or grudge match, James' emotions rarely get the best of him anymore. He is able to stay eerily calm when things aren't going his way and turns channels his frustration into focus.
3. Toughness- To be a stand-up fighter, one has to be able to take as much punishment as they can dish out. James has demonstrated an ability to take shots like bronze on the anvil. He'll take a lick and keep moving forward.
WEAKNESSES:
1. Chain Wrestling- James isn't a slouch on the ground and is a decent counter wrestler when he has to be, but no one will mistake him for a master technician. The very best in the world can easily outmaneuver and trap him in submissions, especially non-MMA holds that he isn't familiar with.
2. Beatings Come With a Price- James' style means he'll take a lot on a lot of damage the longer the match goes on. He'll keep coming but won't' take time to rest or alter his strategy. If an opponent can hurt him, they'll be able to run the clock out on him if they are patient enough.
3. Ghosts of Submissions Past- James dropped three of four PPV matches during the last year in FGA via technical or straight up submission. If an opponent catches him in another during a big match, there is an excellent chance he will feel a sense of deja vu and panic.
TAUNTS/MANNERISMS:
1. A long, hard stare for detested opponent
2. If an opponent hits a weak strike, he will pat the targeted body part, inviting them to try again.
