V/O: Last time on VERTIGO…

Marlon Cure: Let’s be real though. Some of y’all would put up a fight, but I’d run through the rest with the greatest of ease. Nothing against Savannah - she’s aiight. But damn being a big fish in a small pond, I’d be a Whale in a Teardrop if I went that way and believe me, I don’t wanna stand at the top of the mountain if it’s that easy. I want my opposition to make me say I earned what I plan on taking up out their hands and with that in mind, there’s only one option for me to make.

Cure pauses, before turning and facing the World Champion.

Marlon Cure: Fujiko.

Just the mention of the name elicits a deafening roar from the fans at ringside, but Cure pays them no mind as he continues on. Her smile grows slightly.

Marlon Cure: First let me congratulate you on finally reaching the top of the mountain. You took a few tries too many to get the belt up off of scary ass Evan Envi but we can overlook that for right now. I want you to go back like 6 months, to when Award Season swept up FGA and around that time I posed the question on who had a better calendar year than me and you put your name out there as having a case. And maybe you did. Maybe you had a case for the better year… I mean, I doubt it but stack em side to side and we’ll see. This year however? Nobody did it better.

Marlon Cure: For the longest, I been hearing that you’re the standard bearer here. That to get to the top of the mountain and call yourself the best, that line starts and ends with you. That might’ve been true last year, but now? I’m standing in your spot. And I’m tryna see if you TRULY got what it takes to get me up out like they say you can? Or will you come up off the Gold, return to earth and watch front and center as I claim my throne?

Fujiko Mine: You claim that my year last year was “maybe” better than yours? You got the award for best high-flyer. You did. But did you take home the award for Wrestler of the Year? That’s a no. That was me. Think about that. Across both brands, I was named the best. You can call it a fluke, you can call it a popularity contest or whatever you’d like. But the fact is that I earned it.

She looks down at the title at her waist, and the one on her shoulder.

Fujiko Mine: And as far as this year...did you become only the 3rd double champion in FGA history? Did you complete the Grand Slam?

She raises an eyebrow, realizing something.

Fujiko Mine: Matter of fact, can you really say your year, either last year or this year, was better when I beat you the first time we faced?

An audible “OOH!” surfs though the crowd as Fujiko smirks at her challenger.

Fujiko Mine: I know it’s your thing to be all about Marlon Cure and nobody else, but your year can’t possibly hold a candle to mine. I’m glad you made your decision to challenge me, but please know that I have no intention of letting go of this championship. It’s plain to see to everyone that you’ve gotten better and better since the first time we faced, but you aren’t the only one whose made some strides. I will show you why I am the face of the brand, and the FGApex on the biggest stage of them all.

She raises up the FGA championship as “Can you feel it?” blasts over the sound system, and Fujiko leaves both Marlon and Keiko in the ring as Vertigo comes to a close.

V/O: 2019 Gold Rush Rumble winner, Marlon Cure, has made his decision! He’s staying on Vertigo to challenge Fujiko Mine for her FGA World Championship at All-Star Showdown VIII! Tonight, he goes one on one with Fujiko’s fellow United States Tag Team Champion, Izzy Anders, in our main event! Vertigo starts… NOW!

The show cuts backstage to where Spencer Burke is standing by with a microphone in hand. For some strange reason though he doesn’t look too enthused for what’s to come.

Spencer Burke: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time … Annie Zellor.

Oh, you can sense the happiness in his voice as Annie Zellor and Mary-Jane McCracken waltz into view. The pair stand either side of Spencer, smiling up at him insincerely as Annie removes a blow pop from her mouth.

Annie Zellor: Heyyy Spencer! I know you’ve got some questions about tonight and we are here to help…

She puts the blow pop back in her mouth as she waits for Spencer to speak again. Annie sticks her chest out, putting the Seattle Pro tag team title more prominently on display over her ring attire.

Spencer Burke: I do have some questions about your match tonight, but first I’d like to talk to you about what happened after Vertigo a few weeks back…

The smile on Annie’s face wanes slightly.

Spencer Burke: After Kazu Hirano’s victory over Fenrys you had some harsh words for him. Would you like to explain what that was all about?

Annie Zellor: Nahhh, not really.

Mary-Jane just shakes her head as Annie points the blow pop towards Spencer.

Annie Zellor: Look, Spence, the important thing is we’ve forgiven Fenrys for his loss.

Mary-Jane McCracken: He said he was sorry, and it won’t happen again.

Annie Zellor: Exactly. And just ‘cause Kazu wants to roll up, roll up and make an impact here in FGA, doesn’t mean he’s gonna do so at Fenny’s expense. We’re not gonna let him do that, right MJ?

Mary-Jane McCracken: Nope.

Spencer Burke: Well he’s in action again tonight – up next in fact – against Trevor Phillips. Will you be watching?

There’s a moment of silent contemplation as Annie and MJ look at each other, before nodding in sync with each other.

Annie Zellor: I got five minutes to watch Trevor put him in his place…

With that, Annie and Mary-Jane walk away together, leaving Spencer behind as the show cuts to ringside for the opening contest.

Kazu Hirano vs. Trevor Phillips

A rock band with a full god damn orchestra is set up in the entryway – a collective known as SUPERNOVA. How the fuck does a pro wrestling newcomer put an entrance like this together? He went out into the world, became a regular in a few places, and made a lot of friends. These are the Watarimono's musician pals from all over – an interchanging group that is never the same for more than one gig, yet synced as if their individual destinies were meant for this performance of “I Am The Walrus.” They strike a perfect balance between the psychedelic LSD-inspired original by The Beatles and the powerful cocaine-fueled Oasis cover – a life-changing experience for everyone fortunate enough to have them make fuck to their ears. Kazu Hirano is not a technically good singer by any means, but there's a lot of energy and he never fails to nail the chorus.

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, hailing from Koenji, Tokyo, Japan! Weighing in this evening at 176 pounds! He is “Watarimono” KAZU HIRANO!

HIRANO: “I AM THE EGG MAN!”

Throwing their arms in the air when Hirano points the mic at them.

“WOO!”

HIRANO: “THEY ARE THE EGG MEN!”

HIRANO: “I AM THE WALRUS! GOO GOO G'JOOB!”

It takes minutes for Hirano to get in the ring. He teases his entrance on the apron before turning back around to entertain the fans more.

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, already in the ring, TREVOR PHILLIPS!

Kris Cruise: We are ready to get this first match underwya as Kazu Hirano is about to take on Trevor Phillips. Both men were victorious in their debut matches. But only one man will keep that spotless record after tonight.

Stephy Auger: Maybe Kazu should worry less about rocking out and be more worried about his opponent across the ring.

Kris Cruise: I think another topic of worry for him should be Annie Zellor! What was that all about? We heard what she had to say on Afterburn. She didn’t seem to be too fond of him moments ago when Spencer Burke spoke to her. What’s her problem with him? What did he ever do to her?

The bell sounds as Hirano and Phillips head towards the center of the ring. They motion for a collar-and-elbow when Hirano ducks underneath and proceeds to strut across the ring. Hirano turns around and flashes Phillips a sly smirk before circling the ring. Both men then measure each other up before inching towards the center of the ring. They go for another lock up… until Hirano ducks underneath and struts across the ring again. Cheers are coming from the crowd as they continue to enjoy Hirano’s showmanship. But one person that isn’t enjoying the show is Phillips, who is growing increasingly frustrated by Hirano’s antics. The referee heads over towards Hirano and motions for him engage with Phillips. Hirano puts his hands up defensively before nodding his head. He then begins circling the ring. After sizing each other up, they head towards the center of the ring and lock up… until Phillips nails Hirano with a kick to the midsection. The crowd boos when Phillips grabs Hirano by the nose, twists it and moves him into the corner. While Phillips presses Hirano against the turnbuckles, the ref heads over and gives him until the count of five to break the illegal hold.

ReF: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! F-

Phillips reluctantly breaks the hold. While Hirano holds his nose with bose hands, Phillips takes advantage of the opening and doubles him over with a left hand to the midsection. Hirano gets doubled over with another punch to the gut. The boos continues as Phillips delivers a pointed elbow across the back of Hirano’s head. Hirano staggers from out of the corner before dropping down to a knee. Hirano tries to shake out the cobwebs when Phillips turns and hits the ropes. When he comes back, the crowd boos when he knocks Hirano down with a knee lift. Phillips drops down and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: See? This is what he gets for all that showboating! Maybe if he had taken his opponent more serious, he wouldn’t be on his back right now!

Phillips pulls up Hirano, scoops him up and throws him down with a slam. He takes a few steps back and goes for a falling headbutt when Hirano rolls out of the way. The crowd cheers when Phillips smacks face-first on the canvas. When Phillips pushes himself up on all fours, Hirano quickly heads over and executes La Magistral.

Phillips kicks out.

When both grapplers get up, Hirano throws out a lariat. Phillips is able to swat away the strike before doubling Hirano over with a punch to the throat. The boos continue as Phillips turns and hits the ropes. When he returns, he sees Hirano running past him towards the ropes. So he stops. When Phillips turns around, he sees Hirano running at him. So Phillips throws out a clothesline. But Hirano’s able to evade it by rolling underneath it. When Phillips turns around, he sees Hirano back to his feet. Hirano waves Phillips to come at him. So Phillips olibges and throws out another running clothesline. Once again, Hirano escapes the strike by rolling underneath it. Phillips then turns around and sees Hirano waving him to bring it once more. Phillips yells at he barrels towards Hirano and tries to take his head off with another running clothesline. This time, Hirano ducks before running towards the ropes. Instead of coming back, Hirano hooks his arms around the top rope. He then lets go and waves Phillips on. Phillips snarls before charing at Hirano. The crowd cheers when Hirano ducks and dumps Phillips over the top rope and to the floor!

Kris Cruise: Hirano frustrated the heck out of Phillips before tossing him to the outside! He’s definitely got Phillips off his game.

As Phillips tries to get up on the outside, Hirano begins to circle the ring and slowly claps his hands over his head. The capacity crowd quickly takes their cue from Hirano and joins in. He then turns and hits the far ropes. When Hirano comes back, he runs forward, leaps through the ropes and knocks Phillips down with a suicide dive!

Kris Cruise: Hirano takes out Phillips with a dive to the floor!

Hirano gets to his feet and plays the air guitar to cheers and applause from the crowd. After pointing to a fan in the front row, Hirano walks over and gets handed a clear plastic cup of beer from the fan. Instead of drinking the beer, Hirano pours it over himself! Another round of cheers are heard while Hirano shakes the beer out of his hair. Hirano then makes his way back over towards Phillips. The crowd boos when Phillips rakes him across the eyes.

Stephy Auger: See! His showboating got him again!

While Hirano is doubled over, Phillips marches over and snatches a cup of beer from a unsuspecting fan. Unlike Hirano, Phillips drinks the beer… before marching over, turning Hirano towards him and spitting the beer right in his eyes!

Kris Cruise: Oh come on!

Stephy Auger: Did get mad at Phillips! Get mad at Hirano for thinking this is a joke!

The boos continue while Phillips takes Hirano and slams him face-first onto the apron five times. He then shoves Hirano back inside before rolling himself back in. Phillips yanks Hirano up by the hair, moves him into the corner and sends him slumping down with mudhole stomps to the chest. He then raises his arm in the air. The crowd boos when Phillips points at his armpit. He then drops down to a knee before smudging his armpit across Hirnao’s face with The Pitstop! The boos continue while Hirnao flails his arms.

The ref gets in and gives Phillis until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI-

Phillips stands back up and stalks the ref around the ring with his raised arm. The ref quickly rolls to the outside to avoid getting The Pitstop. Phillips turn and sees Hirano still seated in the corner. He snarls before barreling across the ring. Phillips goes for a running knee in the corner when Hirano slips out of the way. The crowd cheers when Phillips crashes into the corner! As Phillips stumbles back, Hirano gets back to his feet and rushes into the ropes. When Hirano returns, he knocks Phillips down with a running shotgun dropkick to the back! He pushes Phillips over and makes the cover.

Phillips kicks out.

Hirano picks up Phillips and whips him into the corner. He then sizes Phillips up before charging across the ring and connecting with a running lariat. While Phillips slumps down in the corner, Hirano turns and struts towards the center of the ring. Hirano turns around, charges back into the corner and hits Phillips with a cannonball! The cheers continues as Hirano drags him from out of the corner before making the cover.

Kris Cruise: Hirano’s on a roll now!

Stephy Auger: Maybe if he had been on a roll from the start, this match would be over by now. He’s got to do more than this to keep Phillips down for a three count.

Hirano takes Phillips and brings him back to his feet. The cheers quickly turn back to boos when Phillips quickly grabs Hirano by the hair and pulls him into a headbutt. He then takes a dazed Hirano and whips him into the ropes. When Hirano returns, Phillips throws out another clothesline. This time, Hirano ducks, floats over across Phillips’ back and then brings him down with a Crucifix Driver! The crowd cheers when Phillips gets driven down to the mat! The ref then jumps over both men and then lands on all fours for the count.

Hirano pulls up Phillips before doubling him over with a boot to the gut. The crowd cheers when Phillips is pulled into a standing headscissors.

Kris Cruise: What’s this?


Hirano sets him up for a Running Liger Bomb when Phillips counters with a back body drop. While Hirano is down, Phillips steps out onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles. When Hirano gets back to his feet, Phillips jumps off the top for a diving. The crowd gasps… then cheers when Hirano strikes him down with a Polish Hammer!

Kris Cruise: Phillips got caught in mid air with Maxwell’s Silver Hammer!

Stephy Auger: OH!

Hirano steps out onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles. Hirano gets one foot on the top turnbuckle before waiting for Phillips to get into position. When Phillips gets back to his feet, Hirano salutes the crowd. The crowd responds with...

“KONICHIWA!”

… before Hirano fully steps onto the top turnbuckle. He quickly jumps off and drives Phillips down with Hey Bulldog (Flying Bulldog)! The cheers continue while Hirano pulls Phillips back to his feet. After lifting Phillips up across his shoulders, Hirano spins in place before driving him down with the Magical Mystery Tour #1 (Airplane Spin into a Death Valley Driver)! He makes the cover.

Jessie Pederson: Please welcome my guest at this time, Susan Kent.

A somewhat somber Susan Kent steps into the interview area with Kendra Hollis and Dana Wheeler.

Jessie Pederson: At the last Vertigo in your hometown...

Susan Kent: I’m going to cut you off, Jessie. At the last Vertigo, Ms. Geroux took something away from me that I was looking forward, and I know people probably don’t see it as a big deal. But I do. Ms Geroux denied me the opportunity to complete in front of my Mom, Keller, and all my family and friends.

Jessie Pederson: I can see how that can be disappointing, but what about tonight's match?

Susan Kent: Tonight’s match means nothing, Jessie. Delikado and I have already beaten Gunnar and Ragnar.

Jessie Pederson: It’s a match that gets you closer to another match with...

Kendra cuts her off.

Kendra Hollis: With who Geroux minions, Silk and Cyanide, or here little favorites, Fujiko and Izzy. Delikado and Susan are owed a United States tag team title rematch. But we all know that Geroux will never allow that to happen and here’s why. Delikado and Susan are the most popular team in Vertigo and everyone knows this and whether you call them the Joker and the Thief, or Fujiko and Izzy, the facts are that despite being the tag champions they are jealous of Delikado and Susan popularity with the fans. Silk and Cyanide are jealous because they know the Susan and Delikado are better than them. Now Erin and Sara won’t admit that but they know it's a fact, and personally I think the Fujiko-Valero match sucked just like tonight’s main event will suck because Izzy Anders is in it.

Jessie Pederson: That’s your opinion.

Kendra Hollis: You don’t agree.

Jessie Pederson: I have no bias, Kendra.

Kendra Hollis: Whatever. And isn’t it interesting that Izzy is facing Marlon Cure. Don’t you get what is happening there? Simply a match to have Izzy weaken Marlon for her buddy Fujiko, and you can take that however you want.

Kendra turns to Susan.

Kendra Hollis: Do you have anything else to say?

Susan Kent: No.

Kendra Hollis: Alright, I think we’re done here.

Kendra, Susan, and Dana walk away.

Delikado & Susan Kent vs. Gunnar & Ragnar

A gas mask jumpscare flashes across the screen killing the lights in the arena, as "Carrion Flowers" starts to play throughout the PA System. A strobe light spot light follows Gunner and a masked Ragnar to the beat of the synth opening, with white light flickering out in turn with the beat. Slowly, they make their way towards each other from the opposite ends of the stage, meeting in the middle, where Tristan Ambrose, Tyler Kingsley and Alexander Cappotelli are standing in the middle, The Resistance in full force stand center stage as a faint red flickering light replaces the white. They all start to make their way to the ring, Tristan leading the charge.

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the following tag team contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing team number one! Weighing in this evening at a total combined weight of 627 pounds! They are the team of Gunnar and Ragnar… THE RESISTANCE!

As they reach the ringside area, Ragnar hands Tristan his mask as He, Tyler and Alexander stand where they are, Gunnar and Ragnar heading up to apron, slowly entering the ring.

Kris Cruise: The Resistance are desperately looking to get out of this funk they've been in with a win over the team of Delikado & Susan Kent here tonight.

Stephy Auger: This should be a no contest. You put these two teams next to each other and physically, Delikado and Kent should be no match for The Resistance whatsoever. Yet somehow, someway, they always find a way to get ahead and come out on top. I think that finally ends here tonight.

Susan Kent appears on the stage followed by her trainer and mentor Dana Wheeler. Susan uses her hand to fans the crowd, she walks to the ring shaking hands with the fans, she climbs the ropes from the outside and waves to the fans, then climbs down into her corner where Dana gives her last minute instructions as she waits for her opponent.

“Rock You Like A Hurricane” echoes throughout the arena, generating a respectable pop. All eyes turn to the entrance, where an utterly catatonic Delikado is literally dragged along the ground in chains by a group of six Swedish security guards. Though he’s cheered by fans, many look upon the grayed, motionless Cuban in equal bewilderment as he is limply pulled down to ringside, and their cheers are mixed with boos as "King" Eric Otto steps out and gives a mighty "king" pose, in fitting royal robes not to mention the crown atop his head.

As they approach the ring, the guards stop and turn to Eric Otto, bowing and awaiting their monarch's command. Eric Otto takes his time walking down to the ring, eventually stopping and smugly holding his head high as he absorbs what he believes is the people's love, before he waves a dismissive hand to his guards. Together Delikado’s handlers promptly unchain and unceremoniously hoist the corpse-y Cuban up, right before they dump him through the ropes into the ring, well, like trash. Flopping not unlike a fish before coming to a stop, Delikado lays face down for several moments…

….RIP?

No! Life becomes apparent! It’s as if he’s seemingly activated by the “magic” of the squared circle. The right pinky finger on his hand grips the mat and single-"handedly" pulls Delikado up to his feet with the nimbleness of a cat. The crowd cheers as Delikado stretches out his joints and prepares to do battle. He climbs to the nearest top rope and poses smilingly for the people he loves, even as he flashes a murderously threatening look to the manager he hates.

J.A. Aldridge: Their opponents! They weigh in this evening at a total combined weight of 301 pounds! They are the team of DELIKADO and SUSAN KENT!

Kris Cruise: We just heard Susan Kent speak moments ago and she didn’t seem too thrilled about not being able to compete in her hometown on the last show. That’s understandable. The real kicker, though, was hearing Dana Wheeler say with a straight face that Fujiko Mine and Izzy Anders are jealous of them. Jealous!

Stephy Auger: Look, Cruise. I’m no fan of Fujiko. Izzy’s disappointed me since joining forces with Fujiko. But even I think it’s absurd to think that Fujiko and Izzy would ever be remotely jealous of Delikado and Susan Kent. I get they’re stiil mad over what happened at Only the Strong Survive in the tag match. But that’s one of the most outlandish things I’ve ever heard. And I’ve heard a lout of outlandish things come out of that camp. It’s better to remain silent and be thought of fool than to speak and remove all doubt!

Kris Cruise: Well, I’m sure Delikado and Kent are unaware of this. I’ve just gotten word that our General Manager here on Vertigo, Jenevieve Geroux, has made a ruling in regards to the tag title situation here on Vertigo. At All-Star Showdown VIII, it is going to be the team of The Joker and The Thief, Delikado & Susan Kent, and Silk & Cyanide in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match for the US Tag Titles!

Stephy Auger: I can hear the whining from the champions, Delikado and Kent now about Silk & Cyanide being inserted into this match.

Kris Cruise: On one hand, they would have a point. Silk & Cyanide shouldn’t be rewarded with a title match after what they did at Only the Strong Survive. However, they are going into this match at a disadvantage against two teams that one to tear them apart. Also, if I put myself in Geroux’s office and look at things from her point of view, I think she feels like this situation between these three teams has gone on long enough. I think she wants this situations ettled once and for all.

The bell sounds as Gunnar rushes Delikado in the corner and hits him with a double ax handle from behind. The crowd boos as Delikado drops down to the mat. Gunnar keeps on Delikado with repeated stomps to the midsection. He then reaches down, picks up Delikado and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After Delikado’s head ricochets back, Gunnar catches it and slams him face-first back into the top turnbuckle. He then turns Deliakdo around and rocks him with a forearm strike before sending him across the ring into the far corner with an irish whip. Gunnar charges across the ring to attack when Delikado cuts him off with a running dropkick out of the corner! Another running dropkick knocks Gunnar off his feet. He then takes Gunnar and goes for an irish whip when Gunnar reverses, sending him into the ropes. When Deli returns, he goes to slide through Gunnar’s legs. But Gunnar’s able to reach down, catch Delikado around the neck with both hands and then pull him back to his feet. Gunnar continues to keep the two handed coke applied. Delikado tries to chop away at Gunnar’s arms. But it’s to no avail. He then reaches his arms back… before swinging them forward and nailing Gunnar with a bell clap to the ears! As soon as the hodl is broken, Deli rolls forward, dives over and tags in Susan Kent!

Kris Cruise: Delikado with the dpseration tag early to Susan Kent!

Stephy Auger: Deli was on the wrong end on that beating. If Delikado and Kent wanted to walk out of this match with a win, they had to switch it up quick.

Kent scales to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and connects with a missile dropkick to the back! The dropkick sends Gunnar staggers across the ring… before dropping down to a knee in The Resistance corner. Ragnar then slaps Gunnar on the back to tag himself in.

Kris Cruise: Oh boy!

Stephy Auger: Maybe Kent should run over and tag back out for her own well being.

Kent sees the big man about to enter the ring. While Ragnar gets one leg over the top rope, Kent rushes over to try and cut him off. But Ragnar reaches out, palms her face and then shoves her down to the mat. He then fully steps into the ring before marching after Kent. Ragnar swings down with a haymaker. Kent barely ducks the blow. Ragnar turns and swats at Kent’s head. Again, Kent’s barely able to duck the blow. She then gets caught with a boot to the midsection before getting swatted down to the mat. Ragnar looks over towards the corner and sees Delikado springboarding to the top turnbuckle. The Cuban Warrior leaps off for a diving crossbody… and gets caught in mid air. After switching his hold of Delikado, Ragar turns and swings Delikado in his arms, causing Delikado’s feet to catch Kent in the face and knock her down. The boos continue as he brings Deli down with a sidewalk slam!

Kris Cruise: With authority!

Stephy Auger: If she were smart, she’d play dead.

Ragnar heads back over to Kent and peels her off the mat. He then whips her into the corner. Ragnar comes barreling in and goes for a body avalanche. The crowd cheers when Kent slips out of the way, causing Ragnar to crash into the turnbuckles! As Ragnar stumbles back, Kent runs past him, runs up to the top turnbuckle and then flips off for a moonsault… only to get caught across Ragnar’s shoulder. He then turns to deliver a running powerslam when he gets caught with a superkick from Delikado in the midsection! After Kent slips down from behind, Delikado nails him with another superkick. This time, to the face! Ragnar turns over towards Kent, who brings him down with a Codebreaker! She makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: Only a one count!

Kent rushes back to Ragnar, but she ends up eating a big boot to the face that knocks her down. Ragnar then heads over and tags Gunnar back in. After yanking up Kent by the hair, Ragnar turns and tosses Kent through the ropes and to the floor. When Kent gets up on the outside, Gunnar runs along the apron, leaps off and knocks her down with a diving knee strike! He then picks Kent up before delivering a vertical suplex on the outside! After pulling Kent back up, he rolls her back inside. He then slides in and makes the cover.

Gunnar takes Kent, moves her into the corner and delivers alternating knees to the midsection from the clinch. He then sends Kent across the ring into the opposite corner with a hard irish whip. As Kent staggers out of the corner, Gunnar runs across the ring before knocking her down with a jumping crescent kick! He makes the cover.

Gunnar heads over and tags Ragnar back in. Ragnar gets in and stomps away on Kent before pulling her back up. He sets Kent up for a Uranage when Kent counters with multiple elbows to the side of the head. Once she’s free, she turns and motions towards the corner to tag out. But before she makes it, Gunnar reaches out, grabs her by the back of the tights, pulls her back towards him and then blasts her with a ripcord headbutt. While Kent is rocked, Gunnar runs over and knocks Delikado down with a forearm to the face. The boos continues as he rushes back over to attack Kent. But Kent is right there to cut him off with a spinning heel kick!

Kris Cruise: Kent’s got her opening!

Stephy Auger: Yeah, but there’s no way she’s going to be able to make it to the corner. Look at her!

Kent turns over onto her stomach and begins pulls herself across the ring. In the corner, Delikado is seen pulling himself up using the ropes. Kent gets back to her feet and staggers over towards her corner. She then falls forward… and tags Delikado back in! Delikado hops in through the ropes and knocks Gunnar down with a pair of running dropkicks. He then goes to bring Gunnar onto his shoulders for a fireman’s carry. But Gunnar is able to cut him off with an elbow to the side of the head. After blitzing Deli with rapid alternating palm strikes to the chest, Gunnar throws out a spin kick. The crowd gasps when Deli ducks the kick, steps back and catches Gunnar with a superkick. While Gunnar is dazed, Delikado turns and hits the ropes. When he returns, she’s able to slide underneath a jumping crescent kick from Gunnar. As soon as Gunnar lands on his feet, he rushes over to attack Delikado… and ends up getting caught with another superkick. He then jumps onto Gunnar’s shoulders, flips back and spikes him with a Frankensteiner! He makes the cover.

When the first bass drum thumps, Dan pulls the curtain back and walks out from behind the curtain with his tag team partner Peaches hanging onto his arm. They pose for the fans, giving head nods to as many of their supporters as they can before they begin heading towards the ring as a spotlight stays on them

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the following tag team contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 322 pounds! They are the team of Dan Herrera and Peaches… the POLYCHROMATIC LION ATTACK SQUAD!

As Dan and Peaches make their way to the ring Dan slaps hands with the fans on one side of the entrance-way while Peaches walks down the other side slapping hands with the fans there. At the bottom of the entrance way, Peaches leans in and gives Dan a peck on the cheek as the pair climb into the ring. Peaches immediately climbs up onto the nearest turnbuckle and poses with her fists raised into the air while, on the opposite side of the ring, Dan poses in a similar manner on the other turnbuckle. The music dies down as the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad members climb down, ready to start the match.

Kris Cruise: We’re back with our second tag team match of the night and it’s a clash of two former tag champs. Silk & Cyanide were the ones that fell to Fujiko Mine & Izzy Anders back at Revelations in March. However, before coming over to Vertigo, the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad were in the mix in the World Tag Team Titles scene over on Flashpoint. A few years back, the team of Dan Herrera and Peaches were also World Tag Champions and were named Tag Team of the Year back in 2017.

Stephy Auger: 2017 was a long time ago. Right now, Fujiko Mine & Izzy Anders are the US Tag Title holders here on Vertigo… until this team takes them back at All-Star Showdown VIII!

The arena lights dim as the sound of a woman's laugh heavy with contempt echoes through the arena, which soon segues into the bassline of "She's Gone Away" signals the arrival of Erin Mariani and Sara Mason as the duo slink onto the entrance ramp and pause for a moment, with Mariani looking towards the ring in disgust while Mason looks as if she's waiting for any excuse to start a fight

You dig in places till your fingers bleed
Spread the infection, where you spill your seed

The pair turn their heads towards one another and share a conspiratorial look before they slowly turn their attention back towards the ring and without a moment's hesitation the pair begin to walk towards the ring, keeping in step with one another and maintaining focus on what they have planned for the sorry individuals that await them

Once the duo reach ringside Mariani climbs the ring steps and climbs the ropes so she's perched with one foot upon the top turnbuckle as she literally looks down upon Her opponent while, at the same time, Mason dives under the bottom rope and slides into the ring and quickly rises to a knee and looks directly towards their entertainment for this evening

Having staked their place in the ring, Mariani vaults over the ropes and twists in mid-air so she lands on Her feet in the corner while looking directly towards the opponent while Mason slowly crawls back towards the same corner while maintaining a stare in the opponent's direction the entire time before she reaches to her sides to pull herself into a crouching position

As the duo await the opening bell Mason gestures towards the opponents, daring them to come a little closer to see what will happen, while Mariani wears a bemused smirk upon Her face knowing full well what the duo have in mind for the poor souls standing across the ring from them.

Kris Cruise: Erin Mariani and Sara Mason got what they wanted. They’ve gotten their shot at Fujiko Mine and Izzy Anders for the US Tag Titles! But they won’t be alone! Delikado and Susan Kent will be joining them in that match!

Stephy Auger: They will be a non-factor. Silk & Cyanide are in both of their opponent’s heads. All they have to do is finish what they started and win back THEIR United States Tag Titles in Los Angeles!

Peaches and Mariani start things off for their respective teams. Mariani slowly circles the ring before darting across the ring to catch Peaches off guard. Peaches is able to slip out of the way in time and avoid getting grappled. Mariani continues to size Peaches up before inching towards her. Peaches continues to stay light of her feet. Mariani slowly inches towards Peaches before lunging forward with a collar-and-elbow tie up. Peaches ducks the grapple attempt, goes behind Mariani and takes control of her back with a waist lock. Mariani reaches down and tries to pry Peaches’ arms from around her. But it’s to no avail. So Mariani resorts to a back elbow to the face. The crowd boos when Peaches gets catches another back elbow to the jaw. Mariani performs a standing switch, wraps her arm around Peaches’ neck from behind and throws her down to the mat with an inverted side headlock takedown. Mariani cinches the hold while pulling back on Peaches’ neck. The ref gets down and asks Peaches if she wants to give up. Peaches refuses. After battling back to a vertical base, Peaches shoves Mariani off of her and into the ropes. When Mariani returns, Peaches ducks a running elbow tackle before running into the ropes. When Peaches comes back, Mariani rushes forward and tries to send her flipping down to the mat with a kitchen sink to the midsection. But Peaches is able to flip over the knee and counter into a schoolboy!

Once both grapplers return to their feet, Peaches places Mariani in a side headlock of her own. Mariani quickly shoves Peaches off and into the ropes. When Peaches returns, she gets knocked down with a standing shoulder block from Mariani. The boos continue while Mariani then turns and hits the ropes. When she comes back, she hops over Peaches as Peaches turns over onto her stomach. Mariani continues to run the ropes. When she returns, Peaches gets to a vertical base and leapfrogs over her. Mariani continues to run the ropes. When Mariani comes back, Peaches goes for a hip toss. Mariani blocks the hip toss and goes to counter with a clothesline. Peaches ducks the clothesline, waits for Mariani to turn around, then knocks her off her feet with a dropkick! She makes the cover.

Herrera gets in and doubles Mariani over with a kick to the midsection. He then takes her by the wrist, wrenches the arm and sends her into the ropes with an irish whip. When Mariani comes back, she gets knocked off her feet with a lariat. Herrera heads over and knocks her off her feet with another lariat! Once Mariani gets back to her feet, she ducks a third lariat from Herrera before quickly taking control of his back with a rear waist lock. Herrera gives Mariani a taste of her own medicine and hits her with a back elbow to the face. After performing a standing switch, Herrera takes her down with a russian leg sweep! He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Are you sure? Because they’re doing a pretty good job of controlling the action right now.

Herrera takes Mariani and whips her into the ropes. When Mariani comes back, she sees Herrera setting up for a back body drop. So she counters with a knee lift to the face that stuns him. While Herrera is still dazed, Mariani turns and runs back into the ropes. Instead of immediately coming back, she hooks her arms around the top rope, turns and drops Peaches to the apron with a hard slap across the face! The crowd continues to boo Mariani as she turns and runs back over towards Herrera. The boos quickly turn back to cheers when he brigs her down with a Samoan Drop! Herrera makes the cover.

Herrera heads over and tags Peaches back in. After whipping Mariani into the corner, Peaches takes Herrera, places him in a headlock, runs into the corner and doubles Mariani over with a Battering Ram! She then takes Mariani and whips her into the far corner. Peaches runs across the ring, hops onto Mariani and throws her out of the corner with a monkey flip! While Mariani tries to get back to her feet, Peaches steps out onto the apron and scales the turnbuckles. As soon as she reaches the top, she leaps off for a missile dropkick… and misses after Mariani rolls out of the way! As Peaches tries to get back up, Mariani rushes over, grabs her from behind and then drives her down with a half nelson facebuster! The boos continue when Mariani pushes her over and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: FINALLY!

The crowd boos when Mason rushes in and puts the boots to Peaches. After pulling Peaches up by the hair, Mason doubles her over with a cross chop to the throat. She then places Peaches in a headlock before raking her face across the top rope. Mason then shoves Peaches into the Silk & Cyanide corner. After turning Peaches around, Mason cracks her with a headbutt that sends her slumping down in the corner. She then tags Mariani back in. Mariani hops back in through the ropes and applies a foot choke while pulling down on the top rope. The ref is quick to get in and give Mariani until the count of five to break the choke.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI!

Mariani puts her hands up and steps away from the corner… before running back towards the corner and bashing Peaches with a running knee strike to the face! She then tags Mason back in. Mason gets in and makes her way towards the center of the ring, then turns around, runs back towards the corner delivers multiple running dropkicks to Peaches! The boos continue when she heads across the ring and pushes Herrera off the apron.

Kris Cruise: That wasn't even necessary!

Stephy Auger: So?

Mason then turns around, charges back across the ring and squashes Peaches with a cross bodyblock! She then pulls Peaches away from the corner and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Another two count for Mason. The Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad controlled this match early and often. But over the last couple of minutes, Silk & Cyanide have turned things around for themselves.

Stephy Auger: See? See!? I told you they had this under control!

Mason pulls up Peaches before doubling her over with a knee strike to the midsection. After grabbing a hold of Peaches, Mason runs across the ring, leaps through the ropes and delivers Lorelei (with the opponent in a headlock, Mason dives out of the ring to snap their neck on the ropes)! Mason quickly rolls back inside and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Did you see how Peaches’ neck hit the ropes!

Stephy Auger: Yes, but I wouldn’t mind a replay.

Kris Cruise: Stephy!

Mason takes Peaches and turns her over onto her stomach. After taking her by the hair and draping her throat-first across the bottom rope, the crowd erupts with boos when Mason stands on Peaches’ back and chokes her while pulling up on the middle rope! The ref is quick to get in and give Mason until the count of five to break the choke.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIV-

Mason breaks the cheek as late as possible. She smirks at the ref while backing up. Mason continues to hold her hands up as if she’s innocent. But the ref is tearing into her for pushing his limits. While the ref’s back is turned, the crowd erupts with boos when Mariani hops off the apron, grabs Peaches by the back of the neck with both hands and chokes her across the bottom rope!

Kris Cruise: Oh come on!

Stephy Auger: What? What? What happened!

Kris Cruise: You see it right in front of you, Stephy! Mariani is choking Peaches!

Stephy Auger: Well, would you look at that! Hmm, oh well.

Kris Cruise: OH WELL!?

Herrera sees this. So he steps into the ring. He motions to rush across the ring and drag Peaches to safety. But the referee slips past Mason and blocks Herrera. Herrera yells at the official. But the official stands his ground and demands Herrera to head back into his corner. The boos continue while Herrera reluctantly follows the ref’s orders. By the time the ref has turned away, Mariani is back in her corner innocently holding the tag rope.

Kris Cruise: Look at her! Look at her trying to act innocent! That woman doesn’t have an innocent bone in her body!

Stephy Auger: Oh stop your complaining, Cruise, you sound like an old lady!

Kris Cruise: What!?

Herrera is seen mouthing something across the ring at Mariani. Mariani responds by beckoning him to come closer with her finger. Back inside the ring, Mason delivers a leg drop across the back of Peaches’ head. She then heads over and tags Mariani back in. Once Mariani gets back in, she hits a short-arm clothesline, keeps hold of the arm and rolls over Peaches so the momentum pulls them to a seated position, allowing Mason to hit a sliding clothesline! The boos continue as Mariani makes the cover.

The tag is made back out to Mason. Mason starts to climb the turnbuckles while Mariani grabs a hold of Peaches. After Mason gets to the top turnbuckle, she jumps off and helps Mariani execute The Pleasure Principle (Mariani holds the opponent in a front facelock as Mason comes off the top rope to rake the opponent's back)! Mason quickly takes control of Peaches and brings her down with the Aenigma (Mason rolls up the opponent into a kneeling position with a schoolboy, where she grabs their head and slams it into the mat)! The boos continue while Mason pulls Peaches back to her knees before delivering the Falling Idol (hangman's neckbreaker to a kneeling opponent)! She makes the cover.

Mason heads back over and tags Mariani back in. Mariani re-enters the ring and goes over to Peaches. After Peaches slowly turns over on all fours, Mariani crouches down in front of her, places a few fingers underneath her chin and uses them to tilt her head up. She looks right at Peaches before the Peach State Cutie blasts her with a right hand to the face! The crowd cheers at the surprising blow. When Mariani turns back to Peaches, Peaches hits her with a punch to the midsection. Peaches gets one foot on the mat before nailing Mariani with a forearm strike to the ribs. After returning to a vertical base, Peaches nails Mariani a forearm strike to the face. The cheers continue while Mariani gets hit with another forearm… then another… and another! While Mariani is rocked, Peaches turns and hits the ropes. The cheers quickly turn to boos when Mason cheap shots Peaches with a knee to the back! She then holds Peaches arms back while Mariani recovers from the strike. She makes her way over to attack Peaches when she gets stopped with a toe kick. Peaches then hits Mariani with three more toe kicks. The last of which doubles Mariani over and causes her to stumble back a few steps. After wrestling her arms free from Mason, She turns around and pops Mason with a forearm strike. When Peaches turns around, she rolls underneath a charging Mariani, who accidentally catches Mason with a running elbow tackle the knocks her off the apron! The crowd cheers when Peaches dives across the ring and tags Herrera back in!

Kris Cruise: Dan’s back in!

Stephy Auger: NOOOO!

Mariani rushes across the ring to cut Herrera off. But he’s able to duck, deliver a double leg pickup, charge across the ring and ram her back-first into the corner. The cheers continue as he nearly knocks the wind out of Mariani with multiple shoulder thrusts in the corner! He then hoists Mariani up and sits her down on the top turnbuckle. The crowd erupts into cheers as he tries to set her up for the Walking Papers (Muscle Buster)!!!

Stephy Auger: NO NO NO NO NO!

Before he can lift Mariani off the top rope, Mason rolls back in and delivers multiple headbutts to the lower back. She then pulls Herrera from out of the corner before whipping him into the far ropes. When Herrera returns, the crowd cheers when he knocks Mason off her feet with a spinning heel kick! After pulling Mason back to her feet, Herrera lifts her up from the side before slamming her down with the Final World (Pumphandle Slam)! Herrera turns around and sees Mariani climbing down onto the middle ropes. The crowd gasps when Mariani jumps off for a diving clothesline… then cheers when Herrera spears her in mid air!

Kris Cruise: Herrera spears Mariani out of the air!

Stephy Auger: OH NO!

Herrera turns back towards his corner. He looks over at Peaches and motions to go up top by repeatedly pointing his thumb up.

Kris Cruise: Dan’s looking to put this one away!

Herrera takes hold of Mariani and lifts her up onto his shoulders. Herrera then walks Mariani over into position. Once Peaches climbs to the top turnbuckle, the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad are ready to deliver an electric chair missile dropkick. The cheers continue while Peaches is about to leap off. Out of nowhere comes Mason, who leaps onto the apron in the PLAS corner and shoves Peaches off, sending her falling off the top turnbuckle. The crowd erupts with boos after Peaches lands with a hard thud!!!

Kris Cruise: PEACHES! Peaches just hit the floor with a sickening thud!

Back inside, Mariani repeatedly rains down pointed elbow strikes across the top of Herrera’s head. After slipping down from behind, Mariani shoving Herrera over towards Mason, who delivers an inverted atomic drop. She holds Herrera in place for Mariani, who rushes over and brings Herrera down with a double knee backbreaker!

Stephy Auger: Heaven Bound!

Mariani then heads over and drops down to a knee. After Mason pulls up Herrera, she grabs him, runs across the ring and sends him face-first across Mariani’s knee with a one-handed bulldog!

Kris Cruise: Silk & Cyanide with the Vow!

Mason quickly hops onto the apron through the ropes before getting tagged back in. The boos continue while Silk & Cyanide bring Herrera back towards the center of the ring. After lifting him up, they each hold Herrera’s arms out before driving him down hard with the Haute Tension (double team crucifix powerbomb)! Mariani stays on lookout while Mason makes the cover.

[FGA Office]

The show cuts backstage to where Peaches can be seen walking alone. Walking slowly and still sweating after the match against Silk & Cyanide, the former FGA World Tag Team champion is still dressed in her ring attire. She pops the cap off the fresh bottle of Powerade in her hand and takes a mouthful of tropical fruit goodness...when something catches her eye.

Peaches: What the hell…

Peaches stops in her tracks, even backpedaling slightly to get a better look at the polaroid photo taped to the wall. With one hand she plucks the polaroid off the wall and holds it in front of her face.

Her jaw clenches, her face reddening as Peaches looks further down the hall. A few steps away and another polaroid photo is taped to the wall as well. Peaches grabs that one too, holding it in view of the camera; the pictures clearly show an unconscious Dan Herrera down on the floor of the PLAS locker room.

Peaches: What the actual f--

Another photo a few metres away shows Dan from another angle, and this time Peaches bolts away down the hall, presumably towards the locker room where her husband and tag team partner has been attacked.

The arena lights dim to almost pitch blackness, save for a couple of blue lights that pulse in sync with the intro to "Storms End" that is rising in pitch and intensity until the main hook burst forth and, at that very second, the ramp is bathed in blue light as Mark Bisley strides onto the ramp with his head bowed and an arm raised before he comes to a stop on the ramp and raises his head to survey the arena wearing one hell of a self-satisfied smirk upon his face.

Keeping his arm raised as he makes his way down the ramp, Bisley walks at his own pace as he confidently walks to the ring at his own pace right up until he reaches the ringside area, and once he reaches the ringside area he lowers his arm and breaks into a short dash to give him the momentum to hop onto the ring apron where he crouches for a moment and taps the side of his head a couple of times to the song's beat before he rolls backwards into the ring and quickly gets back to his feet

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota! Weighing in at 201 pounds! He is “The Smartest Guy In The Room”... MARK BISLEY!

Once he's got to his feet Bisley makes his way to the nearest corner and climbs the nearest turnbuckles where he stands with one foot on the top rope and his arms held out wide as he slowly tilts his head back for a few seconds until he turns his head and peers back into the ring and climbs down, removing the towel from around his shoulders the second his feet touch the canvas and casually tossing it in the referee's direction as he takes a few steps forward so he's standing in the centre of the ring where he drops to a knee and runs his hand on the canvas to say one thing: this is my ring

The lights begin to slow fade out to the opening tunes of "Eye of the Tiger" before flashing quickly back on once the rifts of the guitar begin playing, along with being met with flashes of blue and gold light on the stage. Once the song picks up into it's normal tune about 25 seconds in, Tyler Storm rushes out from behind the curtain to a positive pop, bobbing his head to the beat of the song and mouthing out to the fans.

Once the lyrics start, Tyler begins making his way down the ramp, walking along the left for the first half of his trek to the ring and high-fiving fans or talking with them, and doing the same in the second half of his walk on the right side. Before long he reaches ringside and after interacting with a few more people at ringside, he works his way up the stairs onto the ring apron. He rubs his feet off for a few moments, then gripping onto the top rope he jumps up and slides his legs in between the top and middle ropes and into the ring.

J.A. Aldridge: His opponent, hailing from Tuscaloosa, Alabama! Weighing in at 215 pounds… TYLER STORM!

The song goes on for a few more moments with Storm motioning out to the crowd for a reaction before rushing to one side of the ring just as the drawn out "Eye of the Tiger" lyric hits, landing his right foot on the bottom rope and his left on the middle rope with his arms spread out open with the audience cheering. He then hops back off the ropes and walks over to his corner as the music fades.

Kris Cruise: We’re back for another match here on vertigo. The current number one contender to the Pride Championship, Tyler Storm, is set to take on Mark Bisley. This is going to be quite the test for Storm as he looks to ready himself for Seth Iser at All-Star Showdown VIII.

Stephy Auger: Yes it is. Bisley isn’t as tall as Iser. He’s not as strong as Iser. But he’s a great thinker like Seth. He’s a tremendous technical wrestler and he’s going to push Storm in that ring tonight. This isn’t some pushover, Cruise. This isn’t a warm up. Bisley is going to make Storm work in that ring tonight and if he’s not careful, that momentum he’s been riding will come to a screeching halt at the hands of Mark Bisley!

Storm and Bisley lock up immediately after the bell sounds. Both men jockey for position until Storm overpowers Bisley and moves him into the corner. While Bisley is pressed against the turnbuckles, the ref gives them until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

Both grapplers make a clean break. Bisley then quickly takes Storm, tosses him into the corner and doubles him over with a rolling solebutt kick to the midsection. The boos continue as he lifts Storm up before delivering a blistering knife edge chop. Bisley steps to the side before going to town on Storm with the Minnesota Buzzsaw (repeated shoot kicks to the chest)! After Storm is sent into the far corner with an irish whip, Bisley runs across the ring to attack when Storm charges out of the corner and cuts him off with a bicycle kick! Bisley returns to his feet and gets rocked with a European Uppercut. The cheers continue as Storm takes Bisley and whips him into the far ropes. When Bisley returns, Storm goes for a back body drop. Bisley’s able to slip down from behind before taking control of Storm’s back. Storm hits a back elbow to the face, performs a standing switch, takes Bisley from the side and motions for a Backdrop Driver! The crowd boos when Bisley hits a back elbow of his own to block the move. After a second back elbow breaks the hold, Bisley hits the far ropes. When Bisley comes back, he sees Storm hit the ropes right after him. When Bisley stops and turns around, the crowd cheers when Storm brings him down with a Sling Blade! He makes the cover.

Storm pulls up Bisley and pulls him back to his feet. He then grabs him and tries for another Backdrop Driver. This time, Bisley’s able to roll over his shoulder and narrowly avoid landing on his head. Storm scrambles back to his feet and ends up getting caught with an elbow smash from Bisley. After a kick to the midsection doubles Storm over, Bisley goes for a vertical suplex when Storm slips down from behind. He then turns Bisley back towards him, leans forward and lifts Bisley up onto his shoulders. Before Storm can throw him down with an Alabama Slam, Bisley kicks his legs before slipping down from behind and bringing Storm down with a modified sunset flip.

After both grapplers return to their feet, Storm rocks Bisley with a European Uppercut. Bisley answers with an elbow smash. Storm rocks Bisley with another European Uppercut. Bisley shakes off the blow before answering back with another European Uppercut. Storm rocks Bisley with yet another European Uppercut. Bisley motions for a strike. But Storm cuts him off with another European Uppercut. Bisley then comes back and unloads on Storm with rapid fire elbow smashes. While Storm is dazed, Bisley doubles him over with another rolling solebutt before delivers the Iko Uwais (cravat with repeated knees to the head). The boos continue as Storm drops down to a knee. While Storm is dazed, Bisley turns and hits the ropes. When Bisley returns, the crowd cheers when Storm leaps off the mat and cracks him with a jumping knee strike! He quickly scoops Bisley up before bringing him down with the Rolling Tide (Air Raid Crash Neckbreaker)! Storm makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Storm got the better end of that exchange there. But he’s only able to get a two count. This one has gone back and forth since the start, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: I told you this wasn't going to be easy for Storm. He earned the number one contendership by winning the Best of Five Series. Good for him. But it doesn’t get any easier from here. Mark Bisley is proving that tonight and you can bet that Iser is somewhere loving what he’s seeing right now.

Storm takes Bisley, moves him into the corner and rocks him with three European Uppercuts. Bisley is then sent hard into the far corner. As Bisley staggers from out of the corner, Storm lifts him up, turns and throws him down with a spinebuster! The cheers continue as he rolls across Bisley and hooks the near leg for the cover.

Stephy Auger: He’s got to avoid the traps that Bisley will set for him. Storm wants to keep his momentum heading into All-Star Showdown VIII. But Bisley’s a prideful man, Cruise. You don’t think he wants to be in Storm’s place? You don’t think he wants to make a case for himself to be a top contender for the Pride Championship? This is his chance right here to take the wind out of Storm’s sails and position himself into the title mix.

Storm pulls Bisley back to his feet before doubling him over with a knee thrust to the midsection. He then turns and hits the ropes. When Storm comes back, he flattens Bisley with a Scissors Kick! The cheers continue as he drops down, pulls Bisley onto his back and makes the cover.

While Storm slowly pulls Bisley up off the mat, the crowd boos when Bisley shoves Storm away from him. When Storm storms back over towards him, Bisley knocks him down with the Anaconda Bite (superkick to the knee, followed by a superkick to the kneeling opponent). The crowd erupts with boos after Bisley stumbles back against the ropes and taps his temple.

Kris Cruise: Storm caught all of that kick right to the jaw!

Stephy Auger: See that? In just a flash, Bisley can turn a match around! He pushed Storm back to create distance. Storm was so eager to stay on him that he walked right into the trap Bisley set for him.

After catching his second wind, Bisley heads over towards Storm and puts the boots to him. He then pulls Storm up off the mat before sending him into the far corner. Bisley charges across the ring before connecting with a step-up enzuigiri. Storm staggers from out of the corner before dropping down to a knee. Bisley heads over towards him and blasts him with a rolling solebutt kick to the side of the face, knocking Storm through the ropes and onto the apron! Storm tries to shake out the cobwebs while he slowly tries to pull himself back up using the ropes. Once Storm is back to his feet, Bisley rushes into the corner and throws out the Ace Kick (triangle enzuigiri)! The crowd cheers when Bisley whiffs on the kick after Storm ducks in time. Bisley scrambles back to his feet and nearly gets met with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. But Bisley counters with a knee lift! Storm remains doubled over until Bisley plants him face-first onto the apron with a slingshot DDT! The crowd erupts with boos while Storm lays sprawled out on the floor.

Kris Cruise: Did you heard the impact from that move!? My goodness, the thud from that DDT, Stephy!

Stephy Auger: As you always love to point out, that was done on the hardest part of the ring! If Storm wasn’t in trouble before, he is now. He could very well be out and if he’s not, I doubt he even knows where he is after getting planted on his noggin!

Bisley takes Storm and rolls him back inside. He rolls back in, drags Storm away from the ropes and drops down into a cover.

Instead of staying bridged for the cover, Bisley floats over, slowly pulls Storm back to his feet, switches his hold on him and delivers a snap suplex. He then rolls over before pulling Storm back to his feet. Bisley pulls Storm close towards the corner… and then sends him flying into the turnbuckles with an overhead belly to belly suplex! The boos continue as Bisley pulls Storm away from the ropes and makes the cover.

Bisley takes Storm and pulls him back to his feet. The crowd gasps when Bisley lifts Storm over his shoulder before bringing him down with Blind Destiny (Canadian Backbreaker Rack dropped into a Double Knee Gutbuster)! Storm bounces off the knees before turning over onto his side. While Storm remains down, Bisley heads towards the side of the ring, hops onto the middle rope, flips back and lands across Storm with the Corazón de Zorro (Lionsault across the opponent’s back)! The boos continue as Bisley pushes him over before making the cover.

Bisley takes Storm and whips him into the ropes. When Storm returns, Bisley goes for a tilt-a-whirl maneuver when Storm slips down from behind, scoops Bisley up, turns and throws him down with a Blue Thunder Bomb to an eruption of cheers! The ref slides into place for the cover.

Kris Cruise: Storm with a counter out of nowhere! Can this be it!?

Bisley quickly darts over and sends Storm tumbling to the mat with a high speed running dropkick to the knee! He rushes back over, lifts up Storm’s left leg and delivers the KneeDT (Foot DDT)! While Storm clutches his leg, Bisley hops out onto the apron through the ropes before scaling to the turnbuckles.

Kris Cruise: Bisley’s got Storm down! He’s going up top!

Stephy Auger: He’s gone after Storm’s legs already! I’m calling it now! He’s going for a Frog Splash right onto the legs to take them out!

The fans in attendance stand up when Bisley climbs onto the top turnbuckle. They gasp when he leaps off for the Sapienza (frog splash to the opponent's legs)... then cheer when Storm rolls out of the way! Bisley bounces off the mat before turning over onto his back.

Kris Cruise: Nobody was home! You called it, Stephy! But Bisley wasn’t able to connect!

Bisley clutches his midsection while Storm remains in the prone position. With both grapplers down, the ref starts his count.

Storm slowly pushes himself up on all fours. Across the ring, Bisley slowly turns over onto a knee while still guarding his midsection. Bisley gets back to his feet before stumbling back into the corner. Back across the ring, Storm gets to a vertical base before staggering forward and collapsing against the ropes. Storm looks around and notices the capacity crowd rallying behind him. Storm feverishly nods his head as he feeds off the energy of the people. He stands tall as he slowly steps back away from the ropes. As he turns around, Bisley comes charging out of the corner. Bisley goes for another high speed running dropkick to the knee. But Storm’s able to evade by jumping over him. Bisley slides across the mat before getting back to his feet. He then charges back over towards Storm and gets flattened with a yakuza kick!

Bisley gets back to his feet before getting whipped into the ropes. Instead of coming back, Bisley hangs onto the ropes. She then charges towards Bisley and ends up getting knocked back with a back elbow to the face. Bisley then slingshots himself out onto the apron before going for a springboard lariat. The crowd explodes with cheers when Storm spears him out of the air! Storm pulls up Storm and doubles him over with a knee to the midsection. After lifting Bisley up onto his shoulders, Storm heads into the corner and delivers a Buckle Bomb! Storm catches Bisley out of the corner, turns Bisley around and dumps him with a Backdrop Driver! The cheers continue as he turns Bisley over and makes the cover.

Storm takes Bisley and goes for an irish whip. Bisley quickly reverses, sending Storm into the ropes. As Storm returns, Bisley doubles him over with a boot to the midsection. He then sets Storm up for the Bisley Special (double underhook suplex floated into front guillotine choke). But Storm breaks free, lifts Storm onto his shoulders as he stands up and then throws him down with authority using an Alabama Slam! Bisley remains sprawled out on the mat while Storm holds his lower back. He then heads over and pulls Bisley back to his feet before placing him in an inverted headlock. Storm yells out “PREPARE TO…”

“BE WITNESS!”

Storm throws out the Hybrid Crackdown (inverted headlock into a Rolling Elbow). The crowd gasps when Bisley ducks the blow.

Stephy Auger: He whiffed on it, Cruise!

Bisley quickly takes control of Storm’s back and goes for the Storm-Killer Combo (two rolling German Suplexes followed by a release Dragon Suplex). Before Bisley can deliver the first German, Storm counters with a back elbow to the face. He then performs a standing switch. The crowd gasps when Storm lifts Bisley up onto his shoulders as he sets him up for the Eye of the Storm (Electric Chair Driver)! Before Bisley can get driven down, he counters with multiple right hands to the top of the head. After slipping down in front of Storm, the crowd gasps when Bisley reaches back and sets Storm up for the Move of the Year (Shiranui)! Bisley motions to flip back when Storm shoves him off and into the ropes. When Bisley returns, he sees Storm running past him, so he stops. As Bisley turns around, he gets knocked down to a knee with the Hardcastle Treatment (springboard roundhouse kick)! The cheers continue as Storm pulls him back to his feet, lifts him up onto his shoulders and then drives him down with the Eye of the Storm!

[FGA Office]

The show returns from commercial, and catches up with Peaches jogging through the halls. She takes a sharp left and pushes a door open with both hands, before she suddenly finds herself in the parking lot.

Peaches: Dan!

She calls out as the camera pans around to see an ambulance parked there. The rear doors open as several EMTs are loading a stretcher carrying Dan Herrera into it. Peaches runs across the lot, narrowly dodging a passing car, before she reaches her husband and grabs his hand.

Peaches: Dan, are you ok?

Tears are forming in her eyes as Dan squeezes his hand around hers. Looking up at his wife through glassy eyes, Dan speaks softly.

Dan Herrera: I’ll be fine…just, uh, do me one favor.

Peaches: Anything. Just name it!

Dan Herrera: Don’t let her get away with this.

Dan winces in pain, grunting out loud as Peaches worriedly looks down at her husband.

Peaches: ...let who get away with it?

Pause.

Dan Herrera: Piper Lennon.

With that, the EMTs load Dan into the ambulance, before Peaches climbs into the ambulance with him. The doors close behind them, and the ambulance drives away as the show cuts elsewhere.

Previously Recorded…

The scene transitions from the parking lot to a locker room, fading in to show four of the members of The New Murder standing together. Dom Harter and Annie Zellor in the center, with their Seattle Pro Tag Team Championship belts hung over their shoulders. Much like their recent appearance in Underground, the Tenacious Wrecking Crew members are wearing orange ring attire as an homage to their Denver Divas. Behind them, and to either side respectively, are Fenrys and Mary-Jane.

Dom Harter: Now, I know what you’re thinking…because some people don’t like the fact that we’re defending these–

He gestures towards the Seattle Pro Tag Team Championships, as Annie pats the belt on her shoulder twice.

Dom Harter: –on an FGA show. Saying that these belts should’ve stayed out West! Stayed in Seattle. They hate that these titles have come to FGA. But more than that, they hate that we hold them.

Annie Zellor: But Idolution couldn’t keep ’em from us. Brytain and Lucie couldn’t take ’em from us down in Mexico. And the Daughters of Janus didn’t get the job done either.

Dom Harter: But Colorado Springs! You might be in luck…if you’re that way inclined. You see, we get to defend these titles whenever, and wherever we want, because Seattle Pro hasn’t managed to sign us to those lucrative contracts they keep waving under our noses – you need to add another zero on the end there, Robb! But, no, despite what you might say, what you might think, the fact is we’ve decided to bless FGA with this appearance.

Annie Zellor: And who did they give us?

Fenrys: Ev–

Mary-Jane McCracken: Evan Envi and Ricky Valero…

She says over Fenrys, and the masked man just shakes his head in dismay at being interrupted again. It brings a wry smile to Dom’s face, whereas Annie is still peeved about Kazu Hirano and what happened earlier tonight.

Dom Harter: That’s right. The Good Guys.

Annie Zellor: Already calling themselves the ‘Champions of Seattle’ and saying they’ve ‘got some gold to add to their collection’.

Annie shakes her head.

Annie Zellor: Not gonna happen, guys. You can keep clinging to that five-way match a few months back, Ricky, ‘cause that’s the only time you’re gonna beat me this year!

Dom Harter: So true. But, wait a minute…because I’m feeling cynical all of a sudden. And I’m thinking maybe – JUST MAYBE – these opponents have been chosen for a specific reason! And that reason is because…on the last Vertigo I may have interrupted Evan Envi trying to worm his way back into title contention. And I may have told him in no uncertain terms that I was going to put him down!

Harter raises his voice towards the end, before he runs a hand through his hair. A harsh chuckle escaping his lips as Annie smirks up at her fiancé.

Dom Harter: This match isn’t going to cut it. Giving Evan Envi a shot at the titles we went out and won…that we went out and bust our asses for! That’s not going to cut it! That’s not going to save him. And it certainly isn’t going to sate my urges. See, Evan took from me…last December he stole my chance to become FGA World Champion. And I’m not stopping until that wrong has been righted. So you can put the Good Guys in front of us. They can stand across that ring from us tonight – but it’s not enough. Not for us. Not for me.

Annie Zellor: I think what he means is…Evan’s gonna get his butt kicked again and again!

Dom Harter: And again! We stand before you now as the Seattle Pro Tag Team Champions. The team that ended Idolution’s undefeated streak and took their titles. And we’re gonna walk out of here with these belts still around our waists. But Evan, regardless of what happens tonight, know that this is far from over between us.

On that note the scene fades out, and the show cuts back to ringside.

J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall and it is for the Seattle Pro TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, the challengers! Weighing in at a total combined weight of 431 pounds! They are the team of Evan Envi and Ricky Valero… THE GOOD GUYS!

A spotlight moves to the top of the ramp, where “The Chief” Evan Envi emerges, a brow raised as he scans the raucous crowd… but the reaction devolves into a unanimous flood of boos as Ricky Valero saunters out onto the stage beside him, resting an arm on the Chief’s shoulder.

Kris Cruise: Here we go, Stephy! Our co-main event is about to get underway and it’s for the Seattle Pro Tag Team Championship! Dom Harter & Annie Zellor were able to capture those titles and have been defending them all over since.

Stephy Auger: Yes they have. Their next defense brings them back here to FGA, where they will be taking on the team of The Good Guys! Dom and Annie on one side of the ring? Evan and Ricky on the other? I couldn’t ask for a better match, Cruise.

I THINK YOU’VE GOT A LOW SELF OPINION MAN
I SEE YOU STANDING ALL BY YOURSELF

The opening chords of “Low Self Opinion” begin to play throughout the arena, and the boos start almost immediately. After ten seconds or so, Dom Harter and Annie Zellor step out from behind the curtain. He throws his arms out to either side, the ever familiar crooked grin plastered on his face, as Annie poses in front of him; she’s crouched down with her biceps flexed, their matching leather jackets and bandanas visible for all to see. One belt hanging from the front of Harter’s pants, the other is wrapped tightly around Annie’s waist.

J.A. Aldridge: Their opponents! Making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 260 pounds! They are the reigning… defending… Seattle Pro Tag Team Champions! They are the team of Dom Harter… Annie Zellor… THE TENACIOUS WRECKING CREW!

They begin to stride down the aisle, soaking in the reaction that are coming from the fans. Annie leads the way, pointing to the belt around her waist and playing to the camera as she goes. The smirking Harter follows closely behind, strolling confidently as he looks out across their ‘adoring’ fans. He climbs up the ring steps first, and holds the ropes opens for Annie to enter the ring. Once inside the squared circle, Annie climbs up to the middle rope and slips her leather jacket off her shoulders, posing for a moment with the belt even more prominently on display. On the other side of the ring, Harter has climbed the opposite turnbuckle, posing with the title belt up in the air. The pair step down from the turnbuckle and removes their jackets and bandanas, sharing a quick kiss together before heading to their corner.

Kris Cruise: Annie Zellor’s looking to get some payback on Ricky Valero for falling victim to him in the Five Way Fray a few weeks back. Of course, there’s the growing issue between Dom Harter and Evan Envi.

Stephy Auger: Dom Harter is hell bent on getting the World Title opportunity that he feels Envi denied him. These two former World Champions had an intense confrontation in that very ring two weeks ago. Tonight, they come to blows.

Kris Cruise: Harter feels a way about Envi beating him in the Frontier iLions Cup and then “denying” him a chance at the World Championship after the Chief won back the title. I can’t even begin to imagine how irate Harter will be if Envi and Valero are able to pull out the win here tonight and take those Seattle Pro Tag Team Titles.

Stephy Auger: Irate would be an understatement.

The lead official of this contests holds up the pair of Seattle Pro Tag Team Championship belts to all four corners of the crowd. Once the championships have been handed off to the timekeeper, the official calls for the bell. The bell sounds as the capacity crowd begins to buzz with anticipation. Dom Harter and Evan Envi start things off for their respective teams. The former multi-time World Champions size each other up from their team’s corner. Ricky Valero is seen rubbing Envi’s shoulders while Harter flashes his famous crooked smirk. Annie Zellor is seen pointing across the ring at The Good Guys before flexing her bicep. Harter makes his way out of his corner first. The Chief follows suit. Both men circle the ring. They then head forward to lock up. At the last second, Harter steps back and poses his with arms out to his side.

Harter and Envi size each other up once more before locking up. After jockeying for position, Envi starts to move Harter back. Harter begins to slow him down before moving him in the opposite direction. Harter continues to muscle Envi across the ring until Envi slows down. He then drops down to a knee. The Tenacious Little Bastard tries to press Envi completely to the mat. But the Chief is able to battle back to a vertical base. He then begins to muscle Harter across the ring and towards the corner. At the last second, Harter pivots and presses Envi against the turnbuckles. The ref rushes over and gives them until the count of five to make a clean break.

Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI-

Both grapplers slowly let go. Harter tries to catch Envi with his his arms up with a shoulder thrust to the midsection! But Envi’s there to counter with a knee lift! After tossing Harter into the corner, Envi delivers a knife edge chop, followed by a European Uppercut. Envi fires off another knife edge chop, followed by another European Uppercut. A “WOO!” comes from Valero in the corner. The Chief then delivers another knife edge chop, followed by a European Uppercut.

Envi begins to unload on Harter with rapid, alternating European Uppercuts and knife edge chops!

Envi takes Harter by the wrist and sends him into the far corner with an irish whip. The Chief charges across the ring before getting caught with a boot to the face from Harter. The Tenacious Little Bastard moves Envi into the shoulder before doubling him over with a knee to the midsection. Harter follows up with multiple shoulder thrusts. He then takes Envi, runs over towards The Tenacious Wrecking Crew corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. He quickly tags Zellor in before taking Envi, running back over towards the previous corner and slamming him back into the top turnbuckle face-first. Harter marches across the ring, takes Zellor and whips her across the ring. Zellor uses her momentum to deliver a running yakuza kick in the corner! She then moves out of the way as Harter charges across the ring and connects with a yakuza kick of his own! Harter then takes Envi and whips him over towards Zellor, who knocks him off his feet with the Sparkle Princess Special (540 Kick)! She makes the cover.

Zellor takes Envi and brings him back to his feet. Zellor hits Envi with a shoot kick to the right and left legs, followed by a side kick to the midsection. She then throws out a bicycle kick to the head. But Envi’s able to swat it down and counter with a forearm. He then takes Zellor and whips her into the ropes. When Zellor returns, she tries for a wheelbarrow bulldog. But instead of driving Envi down, Envi holds her in the air, falls back and counters with a belly to back suplex. He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Good counter there by Envi for a two count. This match was starting to get away from him.

Envi takes Zellor, wrenches her arm, drags her over towards The Good Guys corner and lets Valero tag himself in. Valero gets in and doubles Zellor over with a shoot kick to the midsection. He then hooks both arms before brining her down with a double underhook backbreaker. Instead of making the cover, Valero gets to his feet before hitting the ropes. Upon his return, he executes the Leg Drops of Jupiter (rally of consecutive leg drops)! Valero turns over into a lateral press.

Valero takes Zellor and whips her into The Good Guys’ corner. The Franchise charges in to attack when Zellor catches him with a back elbow to the face. She then catches Envi with a back elbow to the face before nailing Valero with another back elbow. Zellor turns back to Envi and drops him to a knee with a discus elbow. When Valero turns back to Valero, he sends her flying across the ring with an overhead belly to belly suplex!

Kris Cruise: What a suplex from Valero!

Stephy Auger: He nearly launched her out of the arena!

Kris Cruise: I’m sure the fans would have loved if he did!

Valero heads over to follow up. But he’s too late as Zellor rolls over and tags Harter back in. As Harter’s re-entering the ring, Valero darts over and cuts him off with multiple clubbing strikes across the back. He then pulls Harter into the ring and sets him up for a double underhook backbreaker. The Tenacious Little Bastard is able to wrestle himself free before sending Valero to the mat with a standing single leg takedown. Harter tries to follow up with a single leg crab. But Valero uses his free leg to shove Harter off of him and send him into The Tenacious Wrecking Crew corner. After getting back to his feet, Valero rushes in to attack when Harter steps out and counters with an overhead belly to belly suplex into the turnbuckles! Harter pulls Valero back to his feet, lifts him up onto his shoulders and delivers the Fuckboy Bomb MK II (Turnbuckle Powerbomb)! Harter then catches Valero off the rebound, hoists him up, turns and throws him down with a sitout spinebuster! The ref slides into place for the cover.

Zellor tags Harter back in. After Harter gets in, Zellor climbs up onto his back. Harter pushes Zellor off with a Doomsday Toss into a Flying Codebreaker! While Zellor holds Valero is place, Harter runs over and goes for a running senton. At the last second, Valero breaks free and slips out of the way, causing Harter to land across Zellor!

Kris Cruise: The capacity crowd loved every bit of that!

Harter gets back to his feet and sees Zellor curled up. The Tenacious Little Bastard turns his attention to Valero before running over and throwing out a lariat. Valero ducks the lariat before hitting the ropes. When Valero returns, Harter scoops him up across his shoulder. He then goes for a running powerslam until Valero slips down from behind and shoves Harter, sending him sternum-first into the corner. While Harter stumbles back, Valero grabs him from behind before tossing him through the ropes and onto the apron. Valero reaches out to the apron, grabs Harter drags him across the middle rope and then plants him with an Elevated DDT! He makes the cover.

Valero takes Harter, heads into The Good Guys’ corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. He then tags Envi back in. When Harter returns, he ducks a back elbow to the face. When Envi turns around, Harter turns and throws out a lariat. Envi ducks the lariat, hooks Harter’s arm, lifts him up and lifts him up for a Uranage. But Harter’s able to counter with a back elbow to the side of the head of the way up. He then lifts Envi up across his shoulders for a Ushigorosihi. Envi begins to kick his legs before slipping down from behind. After placing Harter in a straightjacket choke, he pulls Harter down into repeated kneeling backbreakers! Envi makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Timely save by Zellor! Harter got rocked and was literally on Dream Street! There was no telling if he would get his shoulder up in time.

While Zellor is heading back towards her corner, Valero gets up, runs over and shoves Zellor from behind, sending her through the ropes and to the floor! Back in the ring, Valero heads over, pulls up Harter and brings him down with a double underhook backbreaker. While Harter’s down, Valero heads over and steps out onto the apron. The crowd begins to stand up while Valero climbs the turnbuckles. As soon as Valero reaches the top, he measures the distance. He’s about to go for a diving leg drop when Zellor climbs back up onto the apron, grabs Valero around the ankle and jumps down off the apron! The crowd gasps when Valero gets pulled down and ends up crotched on the top turnbuckle!

Kris Cruise: OH MY!

Stephy Auger: OH NO!

Kris Cruise: Ricky Valero’s in agony! You can see it written all over his face!

Valero howls in pain as he slowly leans forward before flipping down into a seated position in the corner. Harter gets back to his feet, marches over and delivers multiple facewashes. He then turns and hits the far ropes. When Harter comes back, he picks up speed before lunging forward and bashing Valero with running double knee lift! Harter gently kicks Valero in the face while asking him, “You dead?” The Tenacious Little Bastard flashes his signature crooked smirk before tagging Zellor back in. Zellor steps in through the ropes, faces away from Valero and pretends to kick dirt at him. After heading towards the center of the ring, she flashes her bicep at Envi before turning around, heading back into the corner and delivers running double knees of her own! She then rolls Valero out of the corner before making the cover.

Zellor heads over and tags Harter back in. Zellor heads out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle while Harter gets in and throws Valero back down with a scoop slam. After leaning forward and lifting up Valero’s legs, Zellor jumps off before delivering a diving headbutt to the groin!

Kris Cruise: The two of them are just adding insult to injury at this point!

While Harter rushes over towards The Good Guys’ corner, the crowd gasps when Envi springboards to the top turnbuckle, flips off and knocks him down with The Classics (diving moonsault)! He hooks the leg.

Envi takes Harter and goes for an irish whip. The Tenacious Little Bastard quickly reverses and sends him into the ropes. The crowd gasps when Zellor yanks down the top rope, sending Envi flipping down and landing hard on the outside! Harter flashes his crooked smirk while he steps back and poses with his arms spread out.

Kris Cruise: Envi just crashed to the floor after that devil Annie Zellor pulled down the top rope!

Stephy Auger: Annie Zellor, a devil? Please, Cruise. Don’t you think that’s a bit much?

Kris Cruise: If I were able to call her what I really wanted to, we’d be bleeped out for the next minute.

On the outside, Envi tries to pick himself back up. Once he’s back to a vertical base, Zellor runs along the apron and goes to take him out with a running flipping senton off the apron. The Chief slips out of the way, causing Zellor to land back-first on the floor!

Kris Cruise: Zellor missed!

Envi picks up Zellor, hooks her arm, lifts her up and throws her down with a Uranage on the floor!

Kris Cruise: The Chief with a hard slam on the floor!

Envi takes Zellor and positions her for an Alabama Slam across the apron. Before Envi can throw her down, Harter rolls to the outside and cuts him off with clubbing strikes across the back. He then takes Envi and slams him face-first onto the apron. Harter takes Envi by the ear before pulling him up onto the apron with him. The crowd gasps when Harter lifts Envi up across his shoulder. The crowd stands up while Harter gets Envi in position for Down With The Crown (Apron Tombstone Piledriver)! Before Harter can get Envi fully in position, Valero rushes across the ring, grabs Envi by the legs and pulls him over Harter’s shoulder and back into the ring. When Harter turns around, The Good Guys pull back on the top rope, then thrust forward, sending Harter flying off the apron. Harter smacks hard back-first against the side of the announce table!

Harter slowly reaches back and uses the table to pull himself up. Envi sees this, so he turns and runs into the far ropes. As Envi comes back, he picks up speed before lunging forward. He leaps through the ropes and connects with a suicide European Uppercut that knocks Harter back and sends him rolling back across the table and into the announcer team!

Kris Cruise: LOOK OU-

Valero rolls to the outside, rushes over and flattens Zellor on the floor with a Shining Wizard! Meanwhile Envi makes his way around the announce table, grabs Harter, brings him back over near the ring and then throws him down with an Alabama Slam across the edge of the apron! Envi reaches down, pulls Harter back to his feet and hooks both arms before planting him with The Blues (Snap Double-Arm DDT)! Envi pulls Harter up and pushes him back into the ring. He then slides himself back in and makes the cover.

Zellor continues to slowly pull Envi to the outside. After doubling him over with a kick to the midsection, she position Envi for Dom’ed (Double Arm DDT). The Chief then breaks free and counters with a back body drop on the floor. When Envi climbs back onto the apron, he’s met with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. Harter then takes Envi and goes to bring him back inside with a vertical suplex. Envi slips down from behind, grabs Harter by the waist and tries for a German Suplex. Harter counters by ducking through the ropes, causing Envi to get hit in the throat with the top rope. While Envi stumbles back, Harter turns around and throws out a lariat. But again, Envi ducks. As soon as Harter turns around, Envi knocks him off his feet with the Kapowski Kick (quick, standing spinning heel kick)! While Harter is down, Envi gets up, drags him into position and then tags Valero back in. Valero climbs to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and lands across Harter’s ribs with Burying The Hatchet (diving double foot stomp)! He makes the cover.

He then quickly takes control of Harter’s back before throwing him down with the PinnaclePlex (leg-hook belly to back suplex)! With Harter in the prone position, Valero heads over and applies The Rally Killer (arm-trap cross-legged STF)!!! Harter howls in pain while Valero repeatedly pulls back on the hold. The crowd gasps as Harter’s hand lifts off the mat. Valero continues to fight for the submission. Suddenly, Envi is seen getting yanked down off the apron. When Envi turns around, the crowd explodes with cheers when Johnny Karma lays him out with Check Your Chiclets (superkick)!!! Valero eyes widen as he sees his best friend getting dropped.

Stephy Auger: WHAT!?

Kris Cruise: JOHNNY KARMA! JOHNNY KARMA JUST KNOCKED OUT EVAN ENVI ON THE FLOOR!

Valero releases the hold and marches over towards the ropes. The Franchise repeatedly yells at Karma and vice versa. The crowd cheers Karma on while he motions for Valero to bring himself down to the floor. The cheers grow louder when Valero steps halfway through the ropes. But he thinks better of it. He then smirks as officials make their way down to the ring to confront Karma. Valero mockingly waves bye to Karma as they push Karma against his will back up the aisle. When Valero turns around, his eyes widen when Harter lifts him up before The Tenacious Wrecking Crew bring him down with Cross Bones Style (Flapjack into a Codebreaker)! Harter makes the cover.

The crowd erupts with boos when “Low Self Opinion” blares throughout the arena.

The boos continue while Harter and Zellor raise their titles in the air.

Kris Cruise: The Tenacious Wrecking Crew retain their Seattle Pro Tag Team Titles! But not without an unlikely assist from Johnny Karma!

Stephy Auger: Johnny Karma had no business being out here! Why don’t you go after him like you do everyone else!?

Kris Cruise: Turnabout is fair play, Stephy! Karma didn’t start this. He didn’t instigate this! Ricky Valero did! Ricky Valero is the one that poured salt in the wounds and screwed Johnny Karma over two weeks ago! Karma just gave him a taste of his own medicine!

• COMMERCIAL BREAK •

[FGA Office]

Karma steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. But this time, he doesn’t immediately jump off. Instead, Karma looks to the heavens and points up above before leaping off and connecting with from The Stars Above. Cheers and applause fill the arena as Angers lays flattened on the canvas.

Kris Cruise: Karma can feel it and so can these people! He’s got The Mindkiller right where he wants her! We’re second away from a new champi-

Stephy Auger: What’s this?

Karma’s attention gets captured by a masked individual dressed in all black.

Kris Cruise: Wait a second. Is that… is that the same person from earlier tonight?

Stephy Auger: I don’t know. He does have a masked on.

The ref goes over and admonishes the individual to get off the apron and go to the back. But the individual stands there ground. As soon as Karma approaches to knock him off the apron, the individual puts his hand out. He then slowly reaches up and grabs the top of his mask. Karma checks behind him to make sure that Anders is still down. When he turns back towards the individual, karma’s eyes widen as gasps are heard throughout Staples Center.

Kris Cruise: Wait just a minute! That’s not a he! It’s a SHE!

Stephy Auger: And that’s not just any woman, Kris! THAT’S HEATHER LASIEWICZ!

A large pop is heard after the surprise reveal. The crowd then begins to whisper in hushed tones as Lasiewicz remains on the apron with her eyes locked on Karma. Confusion is written all over his face. Even the referee stands in disbelief.

Kris Cruise: I don’t understand! What’s Heather doing out here? She has nothing to do with either Anders or Kar-

Just then, a commotion can be heard coming from a section of the crowd. Karma notices the shrieks coming from behind him. So he turns around, only to get caught by a One Hit Wonder (540 Crescent Kick).

Kris Cruise: Karma just got laid out… by YUN GOEUN!?!? What in the hell is going on here!?

Stephy Auger: I’m just as lost as you are!

The initial pop of seeing Yun’s surprised return is soon overcome by a chorus of jeers and boos. Yun slithers out the ring just as quick as she came as Lasiewicz calmly steps down to the floor.

The ref turns around and is shocked once he sees both Karma and Anders down on the apron. But it doesn’t stay that way for long as Anders slowly turns over and gets up on her knees. She cackles once she hears the boos raining down on her. The Mindkiller gets back to a vertical base, picks up Karma, lifts him up and plants him with Shotgun Party (small package driver). The ref slides over to make the count.

The crowd erupts with boos when “Famous” blares throughout the arena.

J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner aaaaand stillllll the FGA Undisputed Champion, IZZY ANDERS!

The boos continue as Anders gets back to her feet.

Kris Cruise: It all makes sense now! No wonder she didn’t seem that worried about Savannah Taylor being barred from ringside! This was her backup plan all along! Damn her! DAMN! HER!

Stephy Auger: The Mindkiller is always several steps ahead, Cruise. Now, you can all call her the Dreamkiller as well, because she just crushed Karma’s hopes and dreams of becoming champion right under her boot!

Kris Cruise: She did no such thing! Yun Goeun and Heather Lasiewicz helped crush Karma’s dreams! Anders was just the lucky recipient of their interference!

Stephy Auger: Would you like a tissue for those tears?

As Yun and Lasiewicz enters the ring, they each applaud Anders before embracing in a group hug. The celebration results in cheers, jeers and profane name calling from the crowd.

Kris Cruise: You’ve got to be kidding me!

Stephy Auger: I agree! I expected these fans to show a little more class!

Anders, Lasiewicz and Yun then turn and applaud as they turn their attention to the aisle. Making her way down the aisle is the new Pride Champion, Savvannah Taylor.

Kris Cruise: Well would you look at this.

Stephy Auger: Mmm hmm. Gold does look good on her, Cruise.

After Taylor enters the ring, the four turn their attention to a recovering Karma.

Kris Cruise: Karma! KARMA! Get out of there!

Before Karma can even defend himself, Taylor runs over and connects with a punt kick to the ribs, knocking Karma over onto his back. Boos rains down on the group as Yun marches over and puts the boots to Karma. After Yun peels Karma off the canvas, she grabs him from one side and Taylor grabs him from the other before they bring him down with the Billboard Bust/Blond Ambition!

Kris Cruise: Face-first right into the canvas! Damn them!

The boos continue as Yun and Taylor pull Karma up onto one knee. Lasiewicz crouches down and gets a good look at Karma before turning and running into the ropes. When she comes back, Yun & Taylor let go as Lasiewicz flattens Karma with the Texas Pride (Shining Wizard)!

Kris Cruise: If I’m getting sick of this, then I know some of the grapplers in the back half to be as well! Someone needs to come out here and stop this!

While Yun circles Karma, the boos turn to cheers as Chris Madison rushes down the aisle.

Kris Cruise: It’s Chris Madison! Thank God someone has come out here to stop this!

As soon as Madison slides in, Yun and Lasiewicz rush over and greet him with stomps to the back. But Madison is trying to fight through the stomps and make his way over to Taylor. Once Madison gets to his feet, he gets held back by both Yun and Lasiewicz. Taylor then cradles her Pride Championship belt before running over and blasts Madison in the face, sending him crumbling to the canvas. Anders then places her foot on the back of Karma’s neck while the foursome raises each others areas to massive boos from the crowd.

The PPV fades to black with the Undisputed Champion, new pride Champion, Lasiewicz and the returning Yun exiting the ring as they’re nearly booed out of Staples Center...

As the colors play, the beats becomes harsher and invites Izzy Anders onto the stage. She dances around to the beat of the music until she makes to the center point of the stage. Scanning the arena with that Cheshire grin of hers, Izzy takes her time walking down the ramp. When she does, she does it with an egotistical saunter, knowing that she has the audience wrapped around her finger.

Introducing first, fighting out of Holland, Michigan by the way of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada! She is one half of the reigning United States Tag Team Champions! Izzy climbs the ring apron, turning her back to the ring to stare at the audience. She shifts down the ropes until she reaches the turnbuckle, ascending it with a delicate air. From there, she reaches methodically for her eyepatch, removing it with flair. She lowers it into her mouth, giving it a playful bite and giving the hard cam a wink. Izzy then scales down the turnbuckle into the ring, taking her coat off. A stagehand receives it in the only way Izzy does, a dramatic fling meant to blanket them in the immense coat. The Mindkiller then takes a seat a little off center of the ring, at the very tip of her corner. She sits there with her legs crossed, staring out to the audience as her song dies out.

Kris Cruise: It’s time for our main event of the evening! Up first is “The Mindkiller” Izzy Anders! Izzy will be defending those United States Tag Team Titles along with Fujiko Mine at All-Star Showdown VIII! But before she gears up for her championship defense, she’s got a match tonight against the current number one contender to her partner’s World Championship! What problem does Izzy pose in the ring against Cure tonight?

Stephy Auger: Everything! Cure’s got the advantage in the experience and speed departments. But Izzy’s stronger than him, I think. She definitely strikes harder. She also had an underrated ground game. But above all else, she can get into an opponent’s mind like none other. I don’t like the decisions Izzy’s made as of late. I hate who she has aligned herself with. But I’d be a fool to deny that Izzy’s one of the best to step foot into an FGA ring.

Kris Cruise: Marlon Cure talks a big game. Tonight is his chance to put his money where his mouth is!

The arena darkens as Jay Z’s “Public Service Announcement” plays, and the fans boo as Just Blaze's words echo throughout the arena following Jay's introduction and a lone spotlight appears on the stage. The ominous sounding piano goes louder as all of the lights in the arena go out, leaving it completely black as the intro ends...

ALLOW ME TO RE-INTRODUCE MYSELF, MY NAME IS HOV.

A single spotlight suddenly illuminates the entrance way to show the silhouette of a man on the stage. The lighting cuts back in and turns a golden hue as Marlon Cure stands with both arms outstretched on either side of him, eyes closed and his head tilted back, soaking in the atmosphere and energy from the crowd. The camera pans around Cure as the fan reaction grows louder and louder.

J.A. Aldridge: Her opponent, hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Weighing in at 195 pounds… MARLON CURE!

The High Flyer walks down to the ring with purpose, oozing confidence as he hops up the steel steps and climbs up to the top rope, reaching a hand for the sky in a taunting manner before he finally drops down into the ring. Cure shrugs the sleeveless long coat off of his shoulders and places the black gold crown around a nearby ringpost as he leans back in the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Kris Cruise: King Cure made his decision two weeks ago to stay on Vertigo and challenge Fujiko Mine for the World Championship! Tonight, he looks to send a message to her number one ally and tag team partner here in FGA, Izzy Anders.

Stephy Auger: Cure feels he’s had a better year than Fujiko. He feels he’s better than Fujiko and he wants to prove it on FGA’s biggest stage in Los Angeles. Tonight, he looks to send a message to Fujiko by defeating her fellow Grand Slam winner, Izzy Anders. Cure isn’t backing down from this moment, Cruise! He wants Izzy to bring it.

Kris Cruise: So what you’re saying is, Cure “wants all the smoke”.

Stephy Auger: … don’t every try and use slang ever again.

Cheers and applause are heard immediately after the opening bell. Chants of “Mindkiller”in support of Izzy Anders being to start up in various parts of the arena before the entire crowd joins in.

Kris Cruise: It’s been years since Izzy’s gotten this level of support from the crowd!

Anders slowly circles the ring. Marlon Cure continues to circle the ring while keeping a close eye on his opponent. In a flash, Anders darts across the ring. She causes Cure to take several steps back when she rolls over towards him. Anders flashes a slight smirk after spinning over onto her knee. The Mindkiller slowly returns to a vertical base. She then inches her way over towards King Cure. She repeatedly feints lunging in for a collar-and-elbow. After Cure bites on a feint, Anders ducks down, goes behind and takes control of Cure’s back. Cure reaches down, grabs a hold of Anders’ wrists and slowly pries her arms from around him. He then quickly spins into an arm wrench. After Anders is on the receiving end of another arm wrench, The Mindkiller quickly reaches over, takes Cure by the wrist and reveres into an arm wrench of her own. She then yanks the arm, which causes Cure to wince. Cure groans after Anders yanks the arm again. Cure goes to reach over with his free arm when Anders delivers another yank to the arm, sending Cure down to a knee. The ref goes over and asks him if he wants to give up. Cure responds by waving him off. After returning to his feet, Cure rolls forward, turns over onto his knees, flips over with a handstand and then counters into an arm wrench. Anders then quickly answers back by sending Cure down shoulder-first to the mat with an arm wringer! The Mindkiller then drops down and tries to place him in The Breakup, Part III (Stepover Armlock). But Cure’s able to slither away and grab onto the ropes. The ref then heads over and gives Anders until the count of five to get off of Cure.

Anders pushes Cure while he’s on the mat before getting back to her feet and stepping back.

Kris Cruise: Cure was lucky to get himself towards the ropes as quickly as possible. As you mentioned earlier, Izzy isn’t all strikes. She’s got that underrated ground game that could trap an opponent and earn herself a quick submission.

Cure pulls himself up using the ropes before circling the ring. The two grapplers slowly head forward before locking up. After jockeying for position, Cure places her in a side headlock. He quickly performs a standing switch and applies a hammerlock. Cure then fakes a back elbow with her free arm before leaning forward and quickly reversing into a hammerlock of her own. The crowd gasps when she throws out the Black Song (hammerlock lariat)! Cure ducks the blow by rolling underneath it. When Anders turns around, she gets caught with a forearm strike. Anders responds with a European Uppercut. The crowd boos when Cure fires off another forearm strike. The crowd cheers when Anders answers back with another European Uppercut. The cheers grow louder when Anders delivers another European Uppercut. Cure goes for another forearm strike when Anders cuts him off with yet another European Uppercut. While Cure is dazed, Anders turns and goes to run towards the ropes. Cure quickly reaches out, grabs Anders by the back of the tights, yanks her over into his grasps and then brings her down with a Ripcord Sling Blade! The crowd boos as Cure makes the cover.

Cure takes Anders, moves her into the corner and rocks her with a forearm strike. After sending Anders into the far corner with an irish whip, Cure runs across the ring to follow up with an attack. Anders goes to cut him off with a boot to the face. But Cure’s able to catch her foot in time. Cure drags Anders out of the corner. He then wags his finger at Anders before swinging her leg away from him. Cure doubles Anders over with an elbow smash to the back of the head before turning and heading into the far ropes. When Cure returns, he flips over Anders before bringing her down with a Throwback! He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Cure’s speed is getting the better of Anders!

Stephy Auger: Anders isn’t a sloth by any means. But she uses to be faster before switching up her style.

Cure picks up Anders, moves her into the far ropes and then blasts her with a stinging knife edge chop. After rattling off another chop, Cure takes Anders and whips her into the far ropes. As Anders comes back, Cure bounces against the near ropes and goes for a flying forearm bash. The crowd cheers when Anders ducks the blow by executing a Tranquillo Roll. Anders poses on the mat while Cure whiffs on the strike and crashes on the mat. As Cure tries to get back to his feet, Anders scrambles back to a vertical base, darts across the ring and connects with a running European Uppercut, knocking Cure through the ropes and to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Cure just got sent to the floor after being rocked with that European Uppercut!

Stephy Auger: He’s got to shake it off and get back in there.

Cure shakes out the cobwebs before gingerly touching his jaw. As he starts to pick himself back up, Anders turns and hist the near ropes. The Mindkiller continues to run across the ring before hitting the far ropes. Anders then picks up speed and motions for a dive to the floor before delivering another Tranquillo Roll to cheers and applause from the crowd. While Anders continue to pose, Cure slides back in, runs over and throws out a Standing Corkscrew Shooting Star Press. The crowd cheers when Anders rolls out of the way, causing Cure to crash onto the canvas. After Cure gets back up to a knee, Anders darts over and flattens him with the HEAD BOOT (Shining Yakuza Kick)! She makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Cure got caught right in the face with that big boot. But Izzy only gets a two count.

Anders picks up Cure, moves him into the corner and delivers another European Uppercut. After Cure gets caught with a roundhouse kick, The Mindkiller begins slumping him down in the corner with MUDA MUDA MUDA (machinegun punches)! While Cure is slumped down in the corner, Anders continues to nudge Cure in the face with the sole of her boot. After she reaches down, she grabs Cure and pulls him up before pulling him out of the corner. She then takes control of Cure’s back before knocking him off his feet with the Black Song! Anders then turns and hits the ropes. When she comes back, she connects with a running knee drop! Anders makes the cover.

Cure gets his shoulder up.

Anders picks up Cure and scoops him up across his shoulders for a fireman’s carry neckbreaker. The Mindkiller’s about to bring him down when Cure counters with elbows to the side of the head. The elbow strikes cause Anders to stagger across the ring with Cure still on her shoulders. Cure then reaches out and grabs onto the top rope with both hands. Anders tries to pull Cure away from the ropes. But it’s to no avail. So she resorts to dumping him over the top rope with a fireman’s carry takeover. Instead of Cure falling to the floor, he continues to hang from the top rope with both hands. Anders sees this. So she turns and runs into the far ropes. When Anders comes back, she tries to knock him off with a baseball slide to the back. Cure avoids the strike by pulling himself back into the ring by skinning the cat. After Anders slides out to the floor, she leaps back onto the apron and gets caught with a Rolling Elbow that knocks her to the floor!

Kris Cruise: Now it’s Anders that gets knocked to the floor after getting caught with a hard strike.

Stephy Auger: It doesn’t like like Cure’s done yet, either...

Cure heads into the corner while Anders uses the guardrail to pull herself back up. As soon as Anders turns around, the crowd gasps when Cure knocks her down with No Ceilings v2 (springboard corkscrew senton bomb)!

Kris Cruise: The high risk pays off for King Cure as he takes Izzy out on the floor!

Stephy Auger: Cure’s showing once again why he was FGA’s Best Highflyer in 2018!

Cure gets up on the outside and dusts his shoulder off in the direction of Anders before climbing back up onto the apron. He looks back while waving up the US Tag Champ. Once Anders is able to get back to her feet, the crowd gasps when Cure knocks her right back down with an Asai Moonsault!

Kris Cruise: Cure takes it to the air again and brings Izzy right back down!

Stephy Auger: Anders has to find a way to ground him. King Cure can do this all day!

Cure takes Anders and rolls her back inside. He leaps up onto the apron before bringing himself back in with a topé atomico across Anders. Cure turns over, grabs Anders and drags her away from the ropes before making the cover.

Kris Cruise: Izzy gets her shoulder up. But it was a smart move there by the veteran to pull her away from the ropes and force her to exert more energy by getting the shoulder up.

Cure picks up Anders and catches her with a forearm strike before sending her into the ropes. When Anders returns, Cure knocks her down with a yakuza kick before quickly following up with a standing moonsault! He hooks the leg.

Cure takes Anders and goes for an irish whip when she reverses, sending him into the corner. After taking a few more seconds to recover, Anders charges into the corner. Cure knocks her back with a boot to the face before hoisting himself up onto the middle ropes, flipping off and bringing her down with a Blockbuster! Instead of going for the cover, Cure returns to his feet before executing a standing corkscrew Shooting Star Press on Anders! He hooks the leg.

Anders gets her shoulder up.

Kris Cruise: Say what you want about Cure’s arrogance, but you can’t help but marvel at his abilities inside that ring.

Stephy Auger: His confidence is well earned. He’s doing things in there that your World Champion can’t do!

Kris Cruise: I’m sure Fujiko would disagree with that.

Cure picks up Anders and moves her into the corner. After hoisting Anders up onto the top turnbuckle, Cure scales the ropes. Once he’s climbed up onto the top ropes, Cure hops onto Anders shoulder and flips back for a top rope frankensteiner. The crowd cheers after Anders holds onto the ropes. Cure ends up slipping off of Anders and lands hard on the mat! Cure slowly rolls himself away from the corner while The Mindkiller stays seated on the top turnbuckle.

Kris Cruise: This time, the high risk failed Cure! He’s down and he might be hurt!

Stephy Auger: C’mon Cure, get up!

Anders slowly stands up on the middle ropes. She then gets one foot up on the top turnbuckle. The crowd starts to stand up in anticipation of what she’s about to pull off. As Anders steps up onto the top turnbuckle with her other foot, Cure scrambles back to his feet, darts into the corner, races up the ropes, hops up and sends Anders flipping off the top turnbuckle with an avalanche hurricanrana!!! The crowd gasps, applauds and boos from the maneuver.

Kris Cruise: UNREAL!

Stephy Auger: Izzy thought she had him. But just like THAT, Cruise, Cure races up those ropes and brought her down! No one can do it better than him! No one!

Cure crawls over and makes the cover.

The crowd cheers when Anders gets her shoulder up.

Cure reaches over and grabs Anders by the hair. After he slowly peels her up off the apron, Anders swats Cure’s hands free before connecting with a step-up enzuigiri that sends him flipping down to the mat! Cure tries to shake out the cobwebs while Anders remains in the prone position. She slowly stats to push herself up on all fours as she hears the support coming from the crowd. Meanwhile, Cure tries to sit up. But he ultimately falls back down.

Kris Cruise: Both grapplers are desperately trying to return to their feet...

Anders gets one foot on the mat while Cure turns over on all fours. The Mindkiller gets back to her feet before heads into the ropes. When Anders returns, the crowd gasps when Cure brings her down with a Running Spanish Fly! He hooks the leg.

Anders gets her shoulder up.

Cure heads out to the apron before climbing the turnbuckles. Once King Cure gets to the top, he crouches down and waits for Anders to get in position. On the mat, Anders slowly turns over on all fours. When she gets back to her feet, Cure stands up on the top turnbuckle. The crowd stands up as well before he flips off. Cure goes for a Dragonrana. As soon as he lands on Anders’ shoulders, Anders catches him, turns, rushes across the ring and delivers a Running Liger Bomb to an explosion of cheers!!! The ref slides over and makes the count.

Stephy Auger: PHEW!

Kris Cruise: THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IT RIGHT THERE!

Anders pulls Cure into a front facelock before planting him with Three Enemigos (triple rolling DDTs)! She then pulls Cure up to a seated position before pointing out to a random fan in the crowd. Anders turns and hits the ropes. The Mindikiller picks up speed as she comes back before flattening Cure with A Gift For You (Penalty Kick)! She drops down and makes the cover.

Anders takes Cure and slowly pulls him back to his feet. She then changers her grip on Cure before lifting him up and planting him with the Aniplex (Cutthroat Brainbuster)! She turns over and makes the cover.

The crowd gasps, then sighs then Cure gets his shoulder up.

Kris Cruise: How? HOW!?

Stephy Auger: I don’t know how he did it! But I’m thankful that he did! Let’s go, Cure! Let’s go!

Anders slowly pulls Cure back to his feet again. King Cure surprises Anders with a forearm strike. Anders responds with a European Uppercut. Cure throws out another forearm strike. Anders answers back with yet another European Uppercut. Cure throws out an elbow smash! Anders delivers another European Uppercut! Cure motions for a strike when Anders cuts him off with another European Uppercut! The Mindkiller motions for another uppercut when Cure cuts her off with a Rolling Elbow! He then blasts Anders with a second Rolling Elbow! Anders appears rocked. She can barely stand! Cure then goes for another Rolling Elbow. The crowd gasps when Anders ducks the strike. She then pops back up and throws out a roundhouse kick to the head! Cure ducks the blow!! The crowd gasps when he goes to quickly counter with the Moment of Clarity (Somersault Reverse DDT)!!! But Anders is abele to catch him across her shoulder before rushing towards the corner and launching him into the the turnbuckles with a Lawn Dart!!! The crowd erupts with cheers when Cure crashes into the corner.

Stephy Auger: NOOOO!

Kris Cruise: CURE’S DOWN! HE’S HURT! IZZY’S GOT MOMENTUM! SHE CAN FEEL IT! THIS CAPACITY CROWD CAN FEEL IT!

Anders waits for Cure to turn around and get in position. She’s got him lined up and in her sights for the Capetown Sunset (540 Kick). The Mindkiller starts to lose her patience and starts to move her feet. Anders gets antsy as Cure slowly pulls himself using the ropes in the corner. He then slowly steps away from the corner. As soon as Cure turns around, the crowd erupts with cheers when Anders throws out the Capetown Sunset! She misses!! Anders whiffs on the kick after Cure drops down to the prone position. After both grapplers return to their feet, Cure throws out a forearm strike. Anders ducks and sends spittle flying out of Cure’s mouth with a Stockton Slap! Cure throws out a forearm strike with his left arm. Anders ducks the strike before walloping Cure with another Stockton Slap! She slaps Cure so hard that a mist of sweat flies off of him. While Cure is rocked, Anders leans forward and lifts him up across her shoulders. She’s got him set up for a fireman’s carry neckbreaker until Cure kicks his legs. He slips down from behind before quickly executing the Moment of Clarity!

While Anders is sprawled out on the mat, Cure steps out onto the apron. After scaling up to the top turnbuckle, the crowd stands up while he walks halfway across the top rope. Cure measures the distance before flipping off for the Reign Storm (Ropewalk Corkscrew 630° senton)! The crowd erupts with cheers when Anders counters by getting her knees up!

Kris Cruise: Anders blocked it! She got her knees up!

Cure bounces off the knees before rolling across the ring. He can be heard groaning while he holds his lower back. Across the ring, Anders slowly turns over on all fours. Both grapplers slowly get back to a vertical base around the same time. As a hurt Cure turns around, Anders darts across the ring to attack… and gets dumped on her head after Cure leaps up, flips back and spikes her with a frankensteiner! The boos continue as Cure pulls Anders back to her feet, lifts her up across his shoulders and brings her down with The Blackout (Fireman's Carry dropped into an Overhead Kick)! He makes the cover.

The boos continue while Cure gets his arm raised in victory.

Kris Cruise: Ladies and gentlemen, we just witnessed a hard fought match between two of Vertigo best. Between two of FGA’s best! Marlon Cure rose to the occasion once again by defeating Izzy Anders here tonight in Colorado Springs! Can he do it again! Can he rise to the challenge one more time and claim the World Championship?
