ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
ENTRANCE MUSIC:
"War Machine" by KISS
RING ATTIRE:
Black and Red MMA fight shorts, Black wrestling boots, and Black MMA fight gloves.
RING ENTRANCE:
The arena's lights dim to black as the opening guitar riffs to "War Machine" by KISS begin to screech over the P.A. system. The video screen lights up with visual static noise. Suddenly in the center of the screen a black handprint begins pulsating to the beat of the drum that has began to play. A spotlight shines on the entrance ramp and we see Chris Madison standing with his head bowed under a black towel, wearing an official FGA licensed t-shirt that says, "Always Ready For War," across the chest. He nods his head to the music and as the chorus breaks he rips the towel from his head and tosses it into the live audience, starting his way down the ramp toward, the ring.
Better watch out 'cause I'm a war machine

Ring Announcer: "Coming to the ring from Long Island, New York, weighing in at two hundred twenty pounds and standing six feet tall, "Mayhem" CHRIS MAAADDIISSOONN!!!"
Madison makes it to the base of the steps and places one foot down before scoping out the fans directly behind him by peering over his shoulder. He smirks as the live audience sings along to the entrance music and then marches up the steps and climbs through the ropes. He immediately leaps up onto the middle rope and faces out towards the crowd. He brings his fists up to his face and punches his jaw with each hand before shooting his arms out horizontally with his hands wide open, welcoming whatever challenge is coming his way. Madison hops backwards, bouncing off of his feet and turns towards the center of the ring, snarling and ready to go...

CHARACTER BACKGROUND
PERSONALITY:
Chris Madison is a machine in the ring. He's a no nonsense kind of guy, driven by a desire to find "the next great fight". He's extremely loyal to those that he surrounds himself with and has an uncanny ability to take a great deal of punishment before finding another gear and turning things around in his favor.
STRENGTHS:
1. Iron Chin: Madison is very resilient and has a never say die attitude inside the ring. He'll take a beating and at times while seemingly in a stupor, will find a second win and push through until he pulls out a win.
2. Submission Expert: Madison is well versed in wrestling submissions. He will wear down his opponents using all types of holds, legal and illegal alike. Madison will hold onto the submissions until the very last second of a referee's five count if need be.
3. Seasoned Veteran: Madison has seen it all. He knows all of the tricks in the book and will manipulate the rule book to his favor. It's very hard to catch the grizzled veteran off guard.
WEAKNESSES:
1. Age: Madison has been at it for a long time. It's a gift and a curse. Needless to say he may have lost a step or two in the speed department and can be susceptible to a high octane, high flying offense.
2. Size: By no means is Chris Madison one of the larger athletes in the industry. Larger opponents could easily use their size advantage to control the pace of the match.
3. Tunnel Vision: As focused as he can be, sometimes it bites back and he can be caught off guard by outside interference or underhanded tactics.
TAUNTS/MANNERISMS:
1. After taking a few stiff strikes from his opponent, Madison's eyes light up and he lets out a roar while jabbing himself on the jaw with alternating punches, inviting his opponent to hit him harder.
2. With his opponent down on the mat, Madison punches his hand out with his thumb sticking outward before slowly rotating it downward. He then waits for his opponent to rise so he can finish the match with either the Peruvian Necktie or the End Game

BACKGROUND:
Chris Madison grew up in the suburbs of Long Island, New York. Ever since he reached an eligible age, his father pushed him to compete in all forms of hand to hand combat. It became second nature and a trend that continued throughout high school and a few years of college before finally turning to Professional Wrestling at the age of 20. Madison made an early name for himself for his adept ability to take punishment. Often being showcased like a sideshow in all forms of "Extreme" wrestling matches before finally catching his first big break with OWF, a developmental territory of ICW. From there he bounced around, eventually landing in Pro Championship Wrestling. Once again showing great promise, Madison was a fixture amongst names like Brad Jackson, Spiral, Pat & Ian McCoy, and Big Daddy Kraven.
But for once in his life, Madison wasn't the star. As good as he was, he couldn't find room at the dinner table with Brad Jackson and Spiral gaining most of the spotlight. Madison once again bounced around before eventually leaving North America to take his talents to Japan where he perfected his craft. It took six years before Chris Madison returned and he picked up right where he left off, joining APW and becoming their Overdrive Champion with only a few months under his belt. Along with the APW Overdrive Championship, Madison earned the honors of becoming the first CXP Heavyweight Champion and the Second-to-None Champion, both titles he held as the promotions closed their doors. Coming off of a successful 220 title defense against arch nemesis, Brad Jackson, there was no doubt that the fire to compete still burned and Frontier Grappling Arts seems the likely destination. In a short stint he and partner Tommy Knox made a push for the FGA Tag Team Championships but came up unsuccessful. Madison took a short period of time off to let the bumps and bruises that come with the wrestling business heal up and found his way to 4CW, debuting at Ante Up in July of 2015. Over the past year he has remained undefeated, locking up with the best 4CW had to offer while earning their 4CW Pride Championship. After his contract expired he briefly guest spotted with different promotions before finally settling on a new contract with FGA in an attempt to re-write a page of his history.
