ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
ENTRANCE MUSIC:
"Storms End" by Leftfield
RING ATTIRE:
Bisley's default attire is a pair of blue tights with a white waistband, featuring a white ace of spades on the right hip, a Vitruvian Man design on the left thigh, and "BISLEY" in a scripted font on the butt. He has alternate versions in black or red, as well as in the colours of the Vikings and the Timberwolves for those rare occasions where it might seem wise to show pride for his local teams.
To round out the attire he has white tape on both wrists and a black elbow pad on his right elbow, which he usually removes when hitting a lariat, as well as black boots with black kickpads.
For his entrance he wears a black t-shirt - usually his merchandise - with a white towel draped around his shoulders.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND
PERSONALITY:
Bisley believes himself to be a superior wrestler to anyone who happens to be fortunate enough to be allowed to share his ring and is not only condescending to his opponents but, on the rare occasions they can get a word in, he's incredibly passive aggressive, all of which may or may not be a ploy to get under the opponent's skin so they make a mistake he can and will seize upon. Yet more than anything else, he's got an ice cold temprament that is very hard to shake, which allows him to work out strategies to beat opponents on the fly
STRENGTHS:
1. Surgical precision – Bisley knows how to quickly and efficiently break down an opponent's body part, either to soften them up for the Minnesota Cloverleaf or leave them wide open for Lux Aeterna or the MOTY
2. Ice cold - not only does Bisley have a cool head that makes him damn near impossible to shake during a match, but makes him ruthless when working an opponent's body part into little more than its base parts
3. Strategist - Bisley is capable of both scouting his opponents and finding the exact strategy he needs to defeat them, but also come up with new strategies on the fly based on the circumstances he's faced with
WEAKNESSES:
1. Entitlement - while he has made a habit of backing up everything he says, it has given Bisley the attitude that it shouldn’t take long before he’s given everything he wants and he should have it now
2. Over-elaborates - there are times Bisley will simply wrestle rings around his opponent for the sake of it just to show that he can, rather than go in for the kill
3. Aesthete – Bisley will only accept a decisive victory, meaning he can pass over an opportunity to win with a roll-up as he would rather win with a final flourish, which could potentially backfire
TAUNTS/MANNERISMS:
1. If the opponent gets a rope break Bisley will use every last millisecond of a ref's five count he can
2. After taking an opponent down he'll sometimes roll onto a knee and rub his hand against the canvas rights next to his downed opponent's face
3. After countering an opponents signature spot, Bisley will tap the side of his head
4. When facing an opponent with a signature submssion manoeuvre of their own, Bisley will slap that submission the opponent and tell the person whose move he's stealing how inferior their manoeuvre is

BACKGROUND:
In late 2011 it was announced that New Wave had signed someone who was at the very beginning of their career, a 21-year old out of Minneapolis by the name of Mark Bisley. At the time the it was assumed that they had just picked up a rookie who was looking to get their first big break in the wrestling business – but they soon found out it was more than that. So much more.
From the moment he first set foot in a New Wave ring, it became clear that they had a very special talent with ability way beyond his years, as in the space of three months Bisley grew from someone who was stealing shows on the undercard to being the company’s champion, which led to him declaring himself “The New Ace of New Wave”, a title he more than lived up to as he remained unbeaten in the company for over eighteen months – and that solitary loss that blots his copybook only came about as a result of the company’s owner going out of their way to get the title off of him.
Yet in spite of his singles dominance over the company, he always wanted something more. A dynasty. He even began to put this plan into action, offering an opportunity to a fellow trainee he met when he was was invited to train in Japan, a trainee by the name of Shintaro Majima. Yet in spite of this plan being put into action, it never came to pass as New Wave went on hiatus – and when the company returned, while Bisley did return to maintain his dominance, Majima did not.
Several years later, though, with Majima having finally established himself in the United States, Bisley feels that it is time to put their plan into action: two men, and as many titles as they can carry.
...until that plan was undone by, in Bisley's eyes, Majima repeatedly failing to hold up his end of the bargain by costing them success through his shortcomings, shortcomings which reflected badly upon Bisley as they were starting to get in the way of him moving out of the tag ranks. Knowing that something had to be done, Bisley suggested tonew Vertigo GM Jenevieve Geroux that Smart Style were done and dusted and he would be the ideal candidate for Geroux's policy of bringing in talent that wanted to prove their worth - and the first Majima learned of this was on the night of the Draft where Bisley was drafted to Vertigo while Majima was abandoned on Flashpoint. True to his word, Bisley demonstrated his worth with a head-turning victory over Johnny Karma a couple of weeks after his Vertigo debut - although the weeks of jibes aimed at his former partner soon came back to bite him, as Majima finally had enough and showed up on Vertigo to lay Bisley out and challenging him to a Loser Leaves FGA match, a match where Bisley overcame his former partner to remain in the company.

RING ENTRANCE:
The arena lights dim to almost pitch blackness, save for a couple of blue lights that pulse in sync with the intro to "Storms End" that is rising in pitch and intensity until the main hook burst forth and, at that very second, the ramp is bathed in blue light as Mark Bisley strides onto the ramp with his head bowed and an arm raised before he comes to a stop on the ramp and raises his head to survey the arena wearing one hell of a self-satisfied smirk upon his face
Keeping his arm raised as he makes his way down the ramp, Bisley walks at his own pace as he confidently walks to the ring at his own pace right up until he reaches the ringside area, and once he reaches the ringside area he lowers his arm and breaks into a short dash to give him the momentum to hop onto the ring apron where he crouches for a moment and taps the side of his head a couple of times to the song's beat before he rolls backwards into the ring and quickly gets back to his feet
Once he's got to his feet Bisley makes his way to the nearest corner and climbs the nearest turnbuckles where he stands with one foot on the top rope and his arms held out wide as he slowly tilts his head back for a few seconds until he turns his head and peers back into the ring and climbs down, removing the towel from around his shoulders the second his feet touch the canvas and casually tossing it in the referee's direction as he takes a few steps forward so he's standing in the centre of the ring where he drops to a knee and runs his hand on the canvas to say one thing: this is my ring
