FGA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
(c) Evan Envi vs. Fujiko Mine
"Can You Feel It?"
"Can You Feel It?"
"Can You Feel It?"
The beat of "Can you feel it?" kicks in, and the crowd bursts into cheers, knowing who is about to arrive. The funky beat quickly spreads through the arena, and the crowd begins stomping and clapping along as the song begins. The lights in the arena dim, with pink and gold spotlights swirling around the arena.
"If you look around
The whole world is coming together now...baby..."
"Can You Feel It?"
"Can You Feel It?"
"Can You Feel It?!"
The crowd is getting heavily into the song, and as the Jacksons sing the title of the song, the lights in the arena bump brighter and brighter.
Feel it in the air, the wind is taking it everywhere...
"Can You Feel It?"
"Can You Feel It?"
"Can You Feel It?!"
On the third one, A spotlight and the camera focuses in on the emerging figure of Fujiko Mine, who stands at one of the crowd entrances. Over her ring attire is a shirt that has her "Apex Goddess" logo on it. The normally joyful Fujiko moves through the crowd, looking straight down at the ring. She begins to make her way down the steps, marching with a purpose. Conspicuous by her absence is XENA.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko Mine said earlier tonight that this match was a long time coming, Stephy. Tonight, she recieves her first opportunity at the FGA World championship. Although, one has to wonder how much left she has in the tank, having already competed tonight.
Stephy Auger: If the Chief has his way, he’ll beat her quickly and send FOOLjiko to the end of the line! What hubris for her to even consider herself worthy!
After maneuvering through a cleared aisle in the crowd, Fujiko reaches the ringside area, and follows it up with a graceful handspring onto and over the guardrail. She quickly runs up the steps, then hops onto the top turnbuckle. A single spotlight converges on the woman known as the Apex Goddess. She hooks herself up on top, and as the title of the song comes around, she throws her hands up, fingers outstretched each time.
"Now, tell me..."
"Can You Feel It?"
"Can You Feel It?"
"Can You Feel It?!"
Each time, blue and yellow streamers are thrown over her posing form. She takes any lingering streamers off her person, and then she comes down off the turnbuckle.
She tests her range of motion, wincing slightly as she stretches out her arms.
"Can You Feel It?"
"Can You Feel It?"
"Can You Feel It?!"
Fujiko smirks, then pulls the shirt off over her head and tosses it into the crowd. She then leans into the nearest corner before the match begins.
Stephy Auger: I still don’t believe she’s getting this opportunity, Kris. She doesn’t deserve it!
Kris Cruise: You find me someone with a resume like hers who hasn’t gotten an opportunity like this, Stephy?! She’s definitely earned it!
The familiar, frantic instrumental slams into the PA system, drawing a near-unanimous chorus of boos from the crowd. Multi-colored strobes dance throughout the arena as the Beatles’ “Helter Skelter” blares throughout the arena. Upon the first hint of vocals, Evan Envi steps through the curtains, onto the ramp, his signature jacket thrown on, hood pulled up over his head, slightly obscuring the view of his face. He takes a few steps forward, nodding a bit as Natalie McKinley steps out from the curtains behind him, arms crossed as she surveys the raucous crowd.
Stephy Auger: The only resume I’m interested in hearing about is this man’s, right here!
Kris Cruise: Evan Envi asked Ricky Valero to stay backstage tonight so he can “end the drama” with Fujiko Mine. He asked Valero to stay out of this match so Fujiko wouldn’t have a claim to the World Championship at the end of the night. I don’t know how likely Ricky is to honor that, but--
Stephy Auger: If that’s what the Chief wants, that’s what Ricky’s gonna do! If that’s what shuts Fujiko’s hungry mouth up, then--
Kris Cruise: Just stop.
Evan pulls his hood back, sneering out into the audience before walking forward, raising his signature Double V’s high into the air, glaring toward the ring as he makes his way down the ramp. Envi climbs the stairs and finally lowers his arms as he climbs the ropes near the turnbuckles as if walking a staircase, standing at the top as he unzips his jacket, revealing the FGA World Championship with a grin.
Stephy Auger: Look at it, Fujiko! But don’t get any closer!
Envi tosses his jacket to McKinley who catches it with ease as she walks the apron. Envi leaps from the top rope down into the ring, kissing the tips of his fingers before raising them high into the air in double presidential peace-signs, eyes closed, head tilted back in the center of the ring, seemingly unmoved by the jeers raining down on him while McKinley drops down to the floor below, moving toward the bottom of the ramp. Evan opens his eyes and smirks, taking the World Title from his waist and raising it high above his head as he slowly turns to lock eyes with Fujiko. HIs music fades and a bell sounds through the arena.
J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the FGA WOORRRLD CHAAAAAMPIONSHIIIIP!
A deep roar emanates from within the Amalie Arena at the announcement. Evan Envi paces back and forth near his corner while Fujiko Mine remains still, steady, and focused on the other side of the ring, eyes locked on the Chief. Evan rolls his neck a bit, muttering something to Natalie McKinley who stands on the apron before he turns back to Fujiko, blowing her a quick kiss, earning a deep chorus of boos from many in the Tampa crowd.
Kris Cruise: Ugh.
The lights in the arena dim, the spotlight first focusing on Fujiko Mine.
J.A. Aldridge: Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin,... FUJIIIIKOOOO MIIIIINE!
Fujiko doesn’t make a move, her gaze locked on the champion as her name is said out loud.
J.A. Aldridge: And her opponent…
The roar devolves into a mixed reaction-- as per usual, mainly a thunderous chorus of boos-- as the spotlight moves across the ring toward Evan Envi, who unwraps the World Title from his waist, lifting it high above his head, gazing up at it. Fujiko’s eyes stay locked on Evan, even as the title is raised above his head.
J.A. Aldridge: ...hailing from Ocean City, Maryland, accompanied to the ring by Natalie McKinley, representing “The Good Guys”, he is “The Chief”, the FGA WORRRLD CHAMPIONNN… EVAAAANNNN EEENNNNNVIIII!
The reaction is thunderous, but largely negative as the Chief steps forward, gaze lowering from the belt above his head to his opponent across the ring. The referee demands the belt, but Envi seems to be in a trance, even as the lights return to normal. After a few seconds, he finally breaks eye contact with Fujiko and turns, handing the belt to the official, audibly saying “careful” before he removes his jacket, tossing it to the timekeeper outside the ring.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko Mine has not taken her eyes off the challenger since the moment he stepped foot in the ring. She has been waiting for this for so long, Stephy. You can feel it in the air. You can feel how much this means to the two Grapplers in the ring, but Fujiko is planning on taking herself to a whole new level tonight.
Stephy Auger: And which level is that, Cruise? If Fujiko was so great, why did it take her this long to get to the top of the mountain, hm? The Chief is on there for the second time, and he’s not going to let it slip away like he did before! Give him some credit!
Kris Cruise: I give Evan Envi all the credit in the world. I don’t agree at all with his victory over his opponent tonight back in the Frontier Lion’s Cup, but Envi, for his part, has admittedly demonstrated that he can be a capable wrestler even without the nuisance known as Ricky Valero--
Stephy Auger: Nuisance?! Good God, have you been drinking?
Kris Cruise: And the official’s calling for the bell!
Envi raises a hand up, looking for a tie-up, but Fujiko rushes across the ring and nails a running front dropkick to the heart of the champion, sending him head-over-heels and back into the ropes! He looks up at Fujiko in shock as she rises to her feet and beckons him forward.
Kris Cruise: The challenger is not playing games tonight!
Stephy Auger: Right in his heart. How evil can you be?
Envi gets to his feet and moves forward, but Fujiko throws out a Spinning Back Kick! Envi leans out of harm’s way, and Fujiko goes for a low sweep! Envi jumps above it and glares at Fujiko as she rises to her feet, going for a Super Kick-- but Fujiko side-steps and leaps into the air to hit Envi with an Enzuigiri! Envi snatches Fujiko’s leg and immediately looks for an Ankle Lock! Fujiko pushes herself up on her palms and rolls through, sending Envi rolling across the ring, but back up to his feet in the corner before he pivots, locking eyes with the challenger. The standoff earns applause from the Tampa crowd!
Kris Cruise: These two have been studying each other heavily.
Stephy Auger: They haven’t studied anything. They know what the other’s gonna do because their hearts are intertwined. That’s the agony of meeting your soulmate, Cruise. Evan, break free! She’s evil!
It’s Envi that races across the ring first, going for a European Uppercut, but Fujiko pivots and sends Envi into the ropes. She goes to follow after him as he rebounds, but as if sensing it, Envi hits the ropes sternum-first and rebounds to nail a back elbow to Fujiko that sends a CRACK! echoing through the arena from the impact across her cheek. Dazed, Fujiko stumbles back and Envi nails a Discus Forearm that takes Fujiko to the mat! Immediately, Envi drops down, hooking both legs for a cover!

Kickout!
Envi pushes himself to his feet and Fujiko does the same, just a second behind Envi. She groans as Envi delivers a hard knife-edged chop across the chest, earning an obligatory “WOOO!” from many in the audience. Envi follows up with a European Uppercut and nails a second chop! Another “WOOOO!” echoes throughout the Amalie Arena and Envi goes for another European Uppercut-- but Fujiko catches Envi’s arm and drives him face-first to the mat with a Complete Shot! Envi cries out, scrambling to the ropes as Fujiko pushes herself up.
Kris Cruise: That modified Reverse STO by Fujiko just rocked the Chief’s jaw! Evan never wanted to let Fujiko gain momentum here tonight, but it looks like that’s just what she’s about to do!
Envi reaches his feet in the corner, right as Fujiko rushes across the ring, smashing into him with a European Uppercut of her own! She then follows up with a knife-edged chop, earning a “WOOOO!”, then another… and another… and another!
Stephy Auger: This is a mockery. She’s mocking him!
Kris Cruise: And it’s effective! The World Champion’s chest is beat red! Evan Envi is stunned!
Evan crosses his arms over his chest as Fujiko looks for another chop-- but she uses the ropes as a step-up and blasts Envi with a rope-assisted Enzuigiri instead! Envi stumbles out of the corner and falls to a knee while Fujiko situates herself on the second turnbuckle behind him. Envi turns around and Fujiko leaps off, nailing a Flying Hurricanrana! Envi is sent rolling across the ring, stumbling to his feet-- only to duck out of the ring between the middle-and-bottom ropes, leaning against the announce table outside, earning boos from Tampa.
Kris Cruise: And the Chief, ducking to the outside, showing some serious--
Stephy Auger: Intelligence. Catch your breath, champ!
Kris Cruise: May I remind you, Stephy, that this is Fujiko’s second match of the night?!
Stephy Auger: So she is going to blame that when she loses, right?
Fujiko bounces in place a little, measuring her distance for Evan, and then runs to the opposite ropes. She hits them and then launches herself in the air. Evan sees her charging and ducks out of the way, only for Fujiko to kick off the middle rope, twirling through the air before landing on a knee. She slowly brings her head up to look at Evan, who frowns as the crowd cheers the Apex Goddess. She does not smile at Evan, instead getting herself back up to her feet. She glances over at the time keepers’ table for a moment, and then back at Evan.
Kris Cruise: Fujiko has rarely been this focused during a match, Stephy. She’s doing her best to keep Evan off his game.
Stephy Auger: She maybe, maybe has taken advantage of this match so far, but the Chief is going to prevail! And she won’t have XENA to blame this time!
Evan stalls for a bit, beginning to let the referee count him out. The crowd boos heavily as Evan wanders around the outside. Fujiko gives him an irritated look, but he can only smirk back at his challenger.
Stephy Auger: Brilliant like always, Chief! He doesn’t have to beat Fujiko, he’s already done that. He can walk away and remain the FGA world champion!
Kris Cruise: Evan has been lucky thus far. Assistance from Ricky Valero was what got him that disqualification victory. How many times do we have do go over that?!
Stephy Auger: One more time than you’re willing to repeat it, Kris!
The referee urges Evan to get back into the ring, but he refuses to do so. Fujiko drops down and rolls from the ring, breaking the count. She rushes around the ring, forcing Evan to break out into a run to keep space between the two of them. Fujiko begins to gain speed, but Evan slides into the ring. Fujiko slides in after him, and Evan stops her with an elbow to the back. He drops a few more across her back before dragging her to her feet and tossing her into the corner. Envi grips the top rope and viciously stomps away at Fujiko’s midsection! Fujiko’s knees buckle and she falls to a seated position as Envi switches to stomps to her collarbone and shoulders!
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Envi backs away, hands in the air, but as Fujiko begins to pull herself up-- Envi darts forward and nails a Running Calf Kick! Fujiko falls to a seated position again and Envi rolls up to his feet before striding forward and stomping at Fujiko again before switching to a choke, driving his boot against Mine’s throat.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Envi backs off, throwing double “V”s up to the audience, earning a wave of boos before he drags Fujiko from the corner, dropping down to lock her in a side headlock while burying her head into the canvas. The camera pans to Natalie McKinley, who stands near the ramp, arms folded as she keeps an eye on the ring.
Kris Cruise: Natalie McKinley has been watching, but completely uninvolved in this match thus far. I know Envi said he wanted her out here for “emotional security”, but part of me thinks McKinley agreed to it to keep Ricky Valero at bay.
Stephy Auger: You can’t keep Valero off your mind, can you? He’s not in this match, Cruise. The Chief is. This isn’t The Good Guys versus Fujiko-- it’s the Chief versus Fujiko, and right now, the Chief is in complete control. Focus!
Envi rolls over Fujiko, forcing her to roll with him in the side headlock before he makes his way to his feet. He rushes to the center of the ring and brings the challenger down with a Bulldog before giving himself applause. He shoots a thumbs-up to Natalie McKinley, who just raises a brow in response. Envi makes his way to the apron and ascends to the top turnbuckle, eyes locked on Fujiko. Envi leaps from the top rope, sailing through the air for a Shooting Star Press to an impressed pop from many in the audience-- but Fujiko rolls out of the way! Envi hits his feet and rolls through, stumbling into the opposite corner. He pivots and rushes toward Fujiko as she reaches a seated position.Envi goes for a knee strike-- but Fujiko pops up and spikes Envi into the mat with a low Hurricanrana! The audience roars in approval as Envi crumbles to the mat.
Stephy Auger: AHH!
Kris Cruise: Did you hear that impact?! Evan Envi’s head was just driven into the center of the ring! Fujiko needs to make a cover!
Fujiko scrambles to the fallen champion, pushing him over onto his back, hooking his far leg for a deep cover!

THR--!
Evan throws a shoulder off the canvas, rolling over onto his stomach, breathing heavily.
Kris Cruise: I thought we had a new World Champion!
Stephy Auger: Because you’re negative!
Fujiko sits cross-legged for a moment, contemplating as Envi catches his breath on the mat. She pushes herself up and stalks Envi as he reaches his feet. Fujiko hits the ropes and rebounds for a Lariat, but Envi counters with an Irish Whip-- only for Fujiko to bounce off the ropes with a rebound Handspring into an Ace Crusher! Envi clutches his face as he stumbles to his feet, but Fujiko has already kipped back up to hers, leaping high into the air to nail a Dropsault that sends Envi to the mat! With Envi prone, Fujiko darts to her feet and nails a picture-perfect Standing Shooting Star Press, landing flush across the Chief’s ribs! She hooks both legs and the ref drops into position!

Envi howls out deep in pain, sitting upright-- before being silenced with a Savate Kick, knocking him to his back. Fujiko seethes, glaring down at the unmoving champion while the audience cheers in approval!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko with the VICIOUS offense against Evan here!
Stephy Auger: She’s an animal, and needs to be kept as far away from the Chief as possible!
She backs up in the corner, taking calculated breaths as she waits for Evan to rise. He gets himself up to a knee, and Fujiko charges in for a front kick...but Evan ducks down, causing Fujiko to stumble. He then rolls her up in a schoolboy, grabbing at the tights!
Kris Cruise: He’s got the tights! Referee! He’s got the tights!

Fujiko just manages to shoot her shoulder off the mat. The referee doesn’t notice that Evan had the tights, and he barely avoids the wrath of the Apex Goddess as she unleashes a wild kick in his direction! Evan backs himself into the ropes, but Fujiko rushes him regardless. The referee quickly gets between the two of them, causing the crowd to boo heavily!
Stephy Auger: Get her away, ref!
Fujiko stews in anger she she is berated by them. Evan cautiously untangles himself from the ropes. As soon as Fujiko sees he is out of the ropes, she moves the ref aside and runs at Evan, who manages to catch her in a Uranage, slamming her to the mat! He immediately goes for the cover!

The Apex Goddess kicks out again, grimacing as she does so. Evan immediately places her in a side headlock, trying to slow her momentum. The referee reorients himself so that he can see Fujiko’s face. He asks Fujiko if she wants to quit, and she answers in the negative. Fujiko slams her heel into the mat in a rhythmic pattern, trying to rally the crowd. The crowd joins in, clapping to will Fujiko out of the hold. She begins to force Evan up to a semi-vertical base.
Kris Cruise: The Amalie Arena is rallying behind the challenger!
Stephy Auger: Mmmmhm. A bunch of delusional Buccaneers fans cheering for the unfathomable. Color me shocked.
Fujiko manages to get Evan up, and she goes to push him off into the ropes. However, the stronger World champion puts on the brakes, tossing her in a judo-style toss before slamming her back down on the mat and continuing the hold.
Kris Cruise: I thought Fujiko had found a way to escape!
Stephy Auger: You thought wrong.
Fujiko tries her best again to get Evan up, and this time she kicks back to catch Evan in the shin. Evan loosens his grip, and she slips out of it. She goes to rush the ropes, but Evan grabs her by the neck, and slams her with more European uppercuts! Fujiko endures the multiple shots, until Evan stops to nod to the crowd.
Stephy Auger: Long live the Chi-
Fujiko suddenly spins, landing the spinning heel kick known as the Kapowski kick before dropping to the mat!
Kris Cruise: Kapowski Kick! Evan just got rocked by his own move!
Stephy Auger: Ahhh, love is cruel!
Envi’s eyes roll into the back of his head and he slowly falls, stiff as a board to the canvas! The audience erupts as Fujiko holds her own neck before rolling into a jackknife cover, gripping the right leg of the champion!

As she pushes herself up to an elbow, Envi darts forward, punting her in the heart with a soccer-style kick! Fujiko cries out in pain, falling flat on her back before Envi unload with relentless stomps to her chest and shoulders while the Tampa crowd grows louder and louder!
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Envi tilts his head back, taking a deep breath before his eyes settle on Natalie outside of the ring. He smirks, slowly flashing her another thumbs-up. McKinley narrows her eyes, shifting her weight a bit on the outside as she folds her arms over her chest again, but she doesn’t react outside of that. Envi rolls his neck, lowering his gaze back down to Fujiko before pulling her up into a front facelock again, muttering something before delivering a Snap Suplex! Keeping his grip, Envi twists his hips and pulls Fujiko up, slamming her to the mat with a second Snap Suplex! Once more, he pulls her up, whispering something to the challenger… before he hoists her upright-- only to drive her back to the mat with a Brainbuster! He floats over into an amateur-style cover!

An “OOOOOOHHH…!” escapes many in the audience as it becomes clear that Envi isn’t going to immediately throw the punch-- and Fujiko uses the hesitation to throw him overhead with a Monkey Flip! A dizzied Evan stumbles to his feet, but turns around into a kip-up Hurricanrana from Fujiko that takes him to the mat! Envi uses the ropes to pull himself up as Fujiko hits the ropes on the far side of the ring, rebounding with a Handspring Enzuigiri! The kick takes Envi through the ropes and out to the apron, earning a roar from the Tampa audience!
Stephy Auger: Chief, get it together!
Kris Cruise: Evan Envi is all out of sorts! And what is Fujiko--?!
Fujiko rushes to the corner and seamlessly steps up to the top turnbuckle before leaping off for a Moonsault to Envi as he stands upright on the apron-- but the World Champion catches Fujiko on his shoulder, glaring out into the audience for just a moment before dropping to the apron, slamming Fujiko across it with an Ace Crusher! Both Grapplers bounce off the side of the ring and crash to the floor below as the Amalie Arena explodes, many in the crowd coming to their feet!
Kris Cruise: NO! GOD!
Stephy Auger: Don’t “NO! GOD!” me, Cruise! If they can’t get back up, just remember, this is all Fujiko’s fault!

Natalie McKinley moves a hand over her mouth, finally taking a few steps closer to ringside to observe the damage! The referee kneels on the outside of the ring, checking on both Grapplers, but it’s the World Champion that begins to stir first, reaching a hand up toward the apron. He argues away, but is denied his requests and puts his hands up in a huff. Fujiko relishes the opportunity to get a breather. After a few moments, Evan pushes past the ref and marches over to the Blissbringer. He pulls her up, hooking her in a front facelock, and using his free arm to toss up a victory signal to boos from the crowd. He lifts her, but partway up she kicks and struggles to stop him.
Stephy Auger: Stop resisting and let him win already!
Fujiko fights away a second attempt at Evan trying to hit her with another suplex. She manages to stop him, and on the third attempt she tosses a knee into his midsection, staggering him. She throws another, and another, loosening his grip. Finally, she pulls her head free and she picks his ankle, causing him to fall on his back. She rolls over him, then turns and grabs his arms…
Kris Cruise: Fujiko turning the tables on Evan!
She grimaces, but then pulls him into a knee to the face! Evan falls back, but she doesn’t let go. She pulls him up to his feet, and then blasts him with a roundhouse kick! Evan falls again, but Fujiko strains to get him back to a vertical base.
Stephy Auger: Someone stop her! She’s going to damage the Chief!
She sneers as she finally gets him back up, but Evan breaks her grip and throws out a lariat. Fujiko ducks underneath, hitting the ropes and turning Evan inside out with the 4 Play!
Kris Cruise: 4-Play! That Single Leg Dropkick just dimmed the lights of the reigning World Champ!
Stephy Auger: Agh!
The Apex Goddess springs to her feet, yelling out to the crowd, who cheers her on! Natalie’s eyebrows furrow as the second wind hits the challenger. Fujiko pulls up Evan, clutching his wrist from behind. She then ripcords him out, and slams a forearm into his jaw! She turns back, hitting him with a backfist! She repeats it twice more before catching Evan with a judo throw and locking in a rear naked choke!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko completes the Feedback Loop, and Evan has nowhere to go!
Stephy Auger: Ricky! Ricky help!
Kris Cruise: I thought you were so confident in the Chief!
Stephy Auger: She can’t win! She just can’t!
Evan tries to break her grip, and when that doesn’t work, he uses his strength to drag towards the ropes. She tries her best to deadweight him, but he hooks a leg on the bottom rope!
Stephy Auger: OH THANK GOD!
Kris Cruise: Evan manages, after all that punishment, to drag Fujiko and himself towards the bottom rope to break the hold!
Fujiko breaks the hold and grimaces, frustration starting to set in as she wants to put him away. Evan gets some separation between the two of them while Fujiko sits on the mat, shaking her head. She gets up, taking in deep breaths as she prepares herself to put Evan away. She taps the toe of her left boot on the mat in a rhythm, getting the crowd to follow along!
Stephy Auger: Stop it! Cut it out! NATALIE, WHY ARE YOU NOT DOING ANYTHING?!
Envi pulls himself to his feet using the middle rope, then the top… and as he turns around, Fujiko swings her leg out for a Roundhouse Kick, but Envi ducks out of the way-- only for Fujiko to throw herself back with the Backflip Flash Kick!
Kris Cruise: The Bliss-- no!
Envi ducks out of the way of the Bliss, but Fujiko contorts herself in mid-air and lands on one foot, preparing to throw herself back for the Bliss again-- but Envi delivers a Spinning Heel Kick to the back of the challenger’s head! Fujiko smashes into the ropes and rebounds into a Tiger Suplex! Fujiko rolls up to her knees and Envi rolls to his feet alongside her, first nailing a shoot kick to the temple before pivoting and nailing a stiff Axe Kick to the crown of the head! Fujiko leans forward, stunned, driven to her elbows and knees! Envi forces Fujiko upright, throwing a knee into her midsection for good measure before shooting her across the ring for an Irish Whip! Fujiko hits the ropes, rebounding with a Handspring, looking for a Back Elbow-- and Envi nails a Running Front Dropkick to the small of the back, sending Fujiko throat-first across the top rope! She rolls backward and Envi hooks her for a Schoolboy…
…but Fujiko rolls through and blasts the kneeling Envi with a hook kick to the temple! Envi collapses and both competitors lie side-by-side to an applause from the impressed Tampa crowd.
Kris Cruise: What an exchange! Listen to this capacity crowd here in the Amalie Arena!
Fujiko weakly, tiredly reaches out to Envi, who lies flat on his back… but is unable to drag herself to him! With a grunt, Fujiko pushes herself up to her knees and dives for a cover-- and Envi rolls away toward the ropes, earning thunderous boos from the crowd. Fujiko buries her face in her hands, mumbling to herself while Envi uses the ropes to pull himself out to the apron.
Stephy Auger: Keep on rolling!
Evan uses the ropes to haul himself to his knees on the apron while Fujiko stumbles to her feet and rushes the ropes, blasting Envi with a forearm! Envi teeters, climbing up to his feet. He covers up-- and Fujiko goes low, driving a shoulder into his gut! Envi’s knees buckle and Fujiko steps up onto the bottom rope-- before somersaulting over, driving Envi to the floor below with a Sunset Flip Bomb! The arena erupts while Envi howls in agony, writhing on the floor below!
Stephy Auger: NO!
Kris Cruise: Sunset Flip Bomb to the outside! The World Champion is hurt! Evan is in trouble-- but Fujiko can’t win the title outside the ring. She NEEDS to get Evan back inside!

Kris Cruise: There’s a cover! But is it too little too late?!
The crowd counts along as the ref counts the Chief’s shoulders down!

Stephy Auger: COUNTER! BPA!
Envi hooks his legs around Fujiko’s arm as he throws his shoulder up-- and twists himself around to take control of Fujiko’s back and lock her in a Crossface! There is a collective gasp from many in the crowd, while a majority begin to boo.
Kris Cruise: Envi! Envi has Fujiko locked in the BPA!
Fujiko tries to relieve the pressure by bringing a knee under her body, but Envi rolls through the move, bringing himself and Fujiko onto their backs before rolling through with the Crossface still in tact, forcing Fujiko flat to the canvas! Mine’s hands reach out to the ropes, which lie over a foot-and-a-half away! The capacity crowd reaches a fever pitch, many of their chants incoherent as they try to will Fujiko on! Fujiko digs her elbows into the canvas, crawling slowly but surely! She reaches out, but the ropes are still too far! Eyes growing wide and glassy from the hold, Fujiko crawls forward even more, even as Envi leans back, wrenching the hold!
Stephy Auger: Tap!
Kris Cruise: She’s holding on!
Stephy Auger: TAAAP!
Kris Cruise: Fujiko’s still in this! She’s almost there! Can she get to the ropes?!
The referee drops to his hands and knees, right next to Fujiko, eyes glued to her fingertips as she reaches out to the bottom rope! She reaches out and grasps-- but falls just an inch short!
Kris Cruise: She’s so close!
Fujiko looks to be ready to fade for a moment as her eyes fall shut and her fist unclenches… but she slams a fist into the canvas and pushes herself upright, a muffled scream of defiance audible even beneath Evan’s clamped hands! There is a murmur from the crowd while Fujiko reaches a hand out to the bottom rope and grabs it--
--as the referee is simultaneously yanked out of the ring from beneath the bottom rope, smashing roughly into the floor outside of the ring! The referee’s head smacks against the floor to a groan from those in the front row… but the larger audience boos relentlessly as the assailant throws back his hoodie, revealing the grinning face of Ricky Valero!
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Kris Cruise: Wha-- what in the hell is this?! Ricky Valero just jumped the barricade! We missed it on our monitors!
Stephy Auger: Our Hero! He has come to save the day!
Fujiko yells out in agony from the hold, her grip tight against the bottom rope. Evan realizes that there is now no referee to force him to break the hold, but also no referee to record any sort of submission. He releases the hold in order to find out where the referee has gone, only to see the grinning face of Ricky Valero!
Kris Cruise: I can’t believe this! This absolutely amazing contest, just like last time, SPOILED by Ricky Valero!
Stephy Auger: Hardly! Ricky’s involvement is a perfect compliment to any victory of the Chief’s!
Kris Cruise: Unfortunately for your logic, Stephy, he pulled out the referee while Fujiko was in a submission hold!
Stephy Auger: …
Evan gives Ricky a bewildered look, but Ricky just grins before going under the ring and pulling out a chair. He slides it into the ring, and points at Fujiko. Evan doesn’t move, initially, looking at the chair, and then at his opponent.
“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Natalie McKinley grimaces as the two of them stand there. Ricky suddenly takes it upon himself to slide into the ring and pick up the chair himself. Natalie makes this her cue, rolling into the ring and intercepting the path between Ricky and Fujiko.
Stephy Auger: The hell is she doing?!
Kris Cruise: Apparently, she isn’t interested in watching Ricky ruin this for Fujiko!
Ricky scowls at Natalie, and the two of them begin yelling at each other while Evan stands around, weighing his options. Ricky has finally had enough and goes to move past Natalie, but…
Kris Cruise: She is not letting him past!
Stephy Auger: Natalie, get your head in the game! Evan can’t lose here!
Ricky tries to push her aside, but she doesn’t budge in the slightest. He looks up at her, puzzled, until he sees Fujiko starting to push herself up to her elbows and knees. He tries to get at her, but Natalie yanks the chair from his hand and tosses it to the outside to cheers from the crowd!
Kris Cruise: Oh my god!
Stephy Auger: This is awful!
Kris Cruise: And it’s about to get worse!
Ricky draws his hands back and pushes them into Natalie, trying to push her back. She looks down at his hands, and then pushes Ricky hard, knocking him on his ass to cheers from the crowd. Natalie can be seen yelling something at him before throwing her hands up and exiting the ring.
Stephy Auger: Yeah, get out of here, Nat! You’ve done enough damage already!
As Natalie walks up the ramp, the crowd cheers as XENA runs past her. She makes a beeline for the chair, and grabs it before sliding into the ring. Fujiko gets up to her feet, just in time for Ricky to get up. He sees XENA, and immediately bails in time to miss being hit by the chair!
Kris Cruise: There goes Ricky!
Ricky scrambles to run from the ringside area, hopping the barricade with XENA in tow. Back in the ring, Fujiko tries to advance on the Chief, but he stops her with a kick to the midsection. He then hits her with with a few european uppercuts to back her against the ropes. He then turns her into an inverted facelock…
Stephy Auger: Hey FOOLjiko, GUESS WHO?!
He prepares to make the turn, but Fujiko grabs his neck, and using the ropes as assistance, pulls herself up, going up and over Evan!
Kris Cruise: She’s fighting out of it!
She seamlessly transitions over Evan, putting him into an inverted facelock of her own, before dropping him into a reverse DDT, and locking in Ecstacy!
Stephy Auger: NO! AGH!
Kris Cruise: What a reversal! Evan’s got nowhere to go! Center of the ring!
“TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP!”
Fujiko pulls back, grapevining her legs around his torso. Evan flails about, trying to orient himself, but he can’t find a way out!
“TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP!”
Fujiko grits her teeth as she squeezes on the hold, doing her best to stop Evan from moving towards the ropes!
Kris Cruise: Evan is trying desperately to escape, but he can’t move!
Stephy Auger: Ricky! Come back! HURRY!
“TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP! YEAAHHHHHHHHH!”
The crowd explodes as Evan weakly taps his hand repeatedly against Fujiko’s left shoulder! The bell sounds and a second later Fujiko lets go of the hold, tears immediately streaming down her face.
Kris Cruise: He taps! He taps! Evan has tapped out! Fujiko has finally done it! Fujiko is your new FGA World Champion!
Stephy Auger: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
She scoots away from Evan, pounding the mat in jubilation. Ricky returns to ringside, in shock as he sees Fujiko (and the crowd) celebrating!
J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match…
….as a result of a disqualification, Fuuujiikooo MIIIINE!
There is a HUGE amount of boos as Fujiko’s joy is immediately replaced by disbelief and confusion.
Kris Cruise: What?!
The cameras move over to the referee, who is leaning up against the announce table, his back to the ring. J.A is near him, listening. The camera catches the referee telling J.A. that Evan is disqualified for Ricky pulling him out of the ring.
J.A. Aldridge: But STILL...YOUR FGA World ch…
J.A.’s announcement is drowned out by the crowd’s massive boos. Ricky throws his hands up in celebration, pumping his fist and jumping up and down. Part of a smile returns to Evan’s reddened face realizing that he will escape the show still the FGA World champion. Fujiko slams her fist into the canvas, her elation taken from her in an instant. Forgotten is XENA, who has since returned to the ringside area. She realizes the attention is all on the ring, and takes the opportunity to swing for the fences, NAILING Valero in the back with a vicious chair shot that turns the crowd back partially to cheering! Ricky collapses at ringside, clutching at his back as XENA abandons the chair, yelling down at the fallen form of Ricky Valero. Fujiko rolls from the ring, gingerly backing away as she shakes her head, mouthing ‘this isn’t over’ at the two still standing.
Kris Cruise: I can’t believe it! Fujiko had this match won! She should be the champion, but instead this amazing contest ends thanks to Ricky Valero AGAIN!
Stephy Auger: You know what?! I’m going to look at the positives! Fujiko ISN’T champion, Evan is! Even if her cowardly lackey just beaned Ricky with a chair!
Kris Cruise: We unfortunately don’t have time to unpack what you just said, Stephy. You have to believe that, as Fujiko said, this isn’t over between the two of them. For Stephy Auger, I’m Kris Cruise. Goodnight everybody!
Revelations ends with the referee handing Evan the FGA world championship, which he clutches to his chest as Fujiko stares him down from the ramp.
