Before the show starts, "Murdered Out" by Kim Gordon blares over the P.A. system. The crowd waits, cheering--though there were some boos mixed in--for the new International Heavyweight Champion to walk through the curtains. Out comes Jimmy Page, the title belt clutched at his left side, a look that shows that, for a man who just won the belt felt like he lost the way between him and Chandler Scott. Geoff Penzer: Ladies and gentlemen, what we witnessed at A New Odyssey was simply...I-I can't describe it. Jimmy Page and former champion Chandler Scott engaged in one of the most brutal cage matches in FGA's history. Page was the victor, but for a man who had seemed to beat his demons, they rushed back in that one single moment. There have been reports that Chandler Scott's injuries suffered at the hands of Page have unfortunately ended his wrestling career. Now Jimmy has to grapple with that. And I can speak for many who knew how deep Chandler's cuts were to Jimmy Page, who had been on a path to recovery; Who has changed for the better; This victory is bittersweet... Page engages with some fans, giving a sheepish expression as he slaps the few hands that were extended towards him. He walks up the steps, enters the ring, and asks for a microphone. After receiving one, Page pacing in a circle, his eyes looking down at the canvas. The feelings he felt were conflicted and at the moment he couldn't muster the courage. Jimmy Page: I'm... Page tries to speak, but he can form the words. The crowd cheers with some booing after hearing the news through social media. Page rubs his jaw with his right hand, then inhales. Jimmy Page: It's over. The crowd reacts, some just glad Page actually finished his thoughts. Jimmy Page: I went into A New Odyssey, and I fought Chandler Scott for this belt, and I won. All the torment, all the barbs, all the hate spewed finally came to a head. Chandler and I said the same thing, one of us wasn't going to leave Vancouver in one piece. I'm your new champion, and I will defend this belt with whatever ounce of myself I've got left in me. Many people don't think I deserve this chance, but a lot of people can't say it wasn't a fight worth having. I did what I had to do and whoever wins this thing tonight they got planned; They better know what the Hell is on the line. And, um... Page looks down at the title that he held low in his grasp. His eyes wander up to the crowd as he scans the audience, who acted as his jury. Jimmy Page: You know what? I'm not going to make the excuses. You know what happened, you know what happened to Scott and quite frankly Chandler Scott would've stood where I am after doing whatever ungodly thing he could conjure in his sick head. With pride, mind you. I did what I had to do that night and people can sit on their righteous platitudes, but if that loaded gun full of hatred and venom was pointed at them, no one would take that bullet!! No one, I don't care where you come from, I don't care what creed you take, but when a man tells me he wants to wipe my existence from this company--let alone this world--I believe him! Chandler Scott had the means of ending my career...!! People have a bias, many don't even know it, some hide it better than others. At the end of the day, I have to live with the consequences, no one else does. Page stands there, pointing at the canvas, emphasizing his points. Jimmy Page: Day after day, I look in that mirror and tell myself a new day is a new chance at a new me. Every AA meeting, every therapy session, every amount of support I get from you people. So many people are willing to stick their necks out for me and for what...?!? For me to let it all go to waste because of him?!? HIM?!? HE-- Page fights back his rage for so long, it all begins to boil over. Jimmy Page: HE WON!!!! HE WON!!!!! HE WON AND I LET HIM, I LET HIM TAKE AWAY MY CHANCE!!! I LET HIM WIN!!! HE PROVED ME WRONG, AND GODDAMN HIM FOR MAKING ME DO IT!!!! GODDAMNIT!!!Page begins to bang the mic against his head as the crowds sits in silence. Page lets out a shout of frustration as he aggressively pacing the ring. His movements begin to slow however. He slouches down, looking to choke up a bit. His eyes begin to tear up, he clutches his head. Jimmy Page (cracking voice): This was all he had, man. And I took it away, and there is no amount of sorry's that will bring him back. I took his career, and that's the mark I'm going to wear for as long as I'm still in this company. Even through all that hate, through all the things we said, the one thing I could respect was that he stood on his two feet in this ring and left it all on the line. Because Chandler Scott was a proud bastard...!! And...And I am going to live with it...the question is can all of you even look at me still and see something worthwhile? Because I- Page's face morphs into a ball of sorrow. Jimmy Page: I'm hurtin' man...I can't lose you guys, man I can't. I- He tries his best to cover his face. He drops the microphone and sits in the middle of the ring. The title belt sits on his side as he covers his face. The crowd's silence breaks with some cheers and applause. "JJP!!!" chants ring out softly as Page keeps himself vulnerable. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry." Can be picked up on the camera. Geoff Penzer: Ladies and gentlemen, in wars such as what we saw last weekend, some scars may never heal. What transpired has left many fans and wrestlers traumatized. Who knows where Jimmy Page's path may lead him. But tonight, I believe we witnessed that--despite the hate--there was an odd respect. Is it an apology? Who knows for sure, but there's one thing for certain: Page weeps for the greatest enemy he's ever known. That says a lot about the burden he now must carry for the rest of his career... The hard camera catches the shot of Page sitting with his knees to is chest as his heavy heart screams to take all what he did back. The scene fades away to black. ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

★★★ BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE ★★★ James Edwards vs. ? Geoff Penzer: James Edwards is ready to compete against a mystery opponent in our opening contest of the night. Providing the ring introducing is the returning Melanie Sierra!!! Melanie, take it away! "Okay." The opening guitar strains of "My Name is Human" by Highly Suspect fills the air, as does a loud mixed reaction of cheers and mostly boos, as the newly crowned United States Champion James Edwards emerges from the curtains carelessly dragging the belt behind him. Edwards is as indifferent to the crowd's reaction as he is to the championship. Upon arrival to the ring, he tosses it between the ropes where it lands with a thud and then calls for a microphone, which a stage hang readily hands him. James Edwards: Let's get one thing straight, tonight. There doesn't need to be a Beat the Clock Challenge. There's already a number one contender for Jimmy Page's championship, and that's me! The crowd doesn't agree with James assessment of the situation and lets him know with a chorus of boos--with a small section of the crowd still loyal the Burning Heart's brutal honesty. James Edwards: Y'all know it, and I know it. The whole damn company should know it by now. I've had two losses in the last year, and one of em' I passed out in the middle of the ring. I've put down loudmouth pricks like Brian Stryker to overconfident, so-called '"Bad Bitches" like Salem. That's a streak not many people can claim to have in a company with a history like FGA, but it doesn't matter to management. No matter how much I win, I always have to take a back seat to someone else. I watch other people get handed shit because the boss like's them, like Colton, or because the world feels sorry for em' like Jimmy Page. They get the world while I have to scrape for everything I get! And what's my reward? He points an accusatory finger and the U.S. Championship. James Edwards: That thing! A belt I said I didn't want a shot at. A belt I said would be a collar around my neck, keepin' me from what I really want. I'll admit it deserves a better champion than me. The crowd cheers at something James says for the first time in a long while. James Edwards: Hell, it had one in Salem, but she's so sure of herself that she put it on the line against me, and stupid me, I can't let that kind of dig go by, so I had to beat her for it. I was ready to give the damn thing so somebody that wants it could win it in a battle royal or some such shit like that. Management wouldn't let that happen. The honor of their titles won't allow it, even when they hand out a shot and one of the most important belts in the company to a lunatic that never earned it! James' stab at Jimmy Page earns him another round of boos but fewer than one might initially assume. James Edwards: So consider me draggin' the belt around my protest. It deserves someone who wants it, and I deserve my world title shot without having to jump through any hoops! And if the board won't give me my title shot or the belt its freedom from me, I'll find a way to make one of them happen, as soon as tonight! I'll show management what I think of their challenges and leashes they call title belts. If anyone wants a shot at that thing layin' on the other side of the ring, come on out and get it! Edwards tosses down the mic and walks to his corner to await his opponent. Geoff Penzer: James Edwards has laid down an open challenge for his United States Championship! Who will be the first to challenge The Burning Heart? "Rockit" begins to play over the speakers as the the lights in the arena dim. An individual steps through the curtains wearing a jacket that flashes red, blue, green and yellow colors. At the 28 second mark, the lights come back on, revealing Max Powers to a positive reaction from the crowd. Geoff Penzer: It’s Max Powers! Max slaps hands with the fans on his way down the aisle. After sliding underneath the bottom rope and into the ring, he pushes himself up and heads into the corner. After climbing up onto the second rope and throwing his index fingers in the air, he climbs to the top turnbuckle and backflips off, landing safely on his feet in the ring to cheers. Geoff Penzer: Max Powers, along with Landon Knight, was able to defeat Salem and James Edwards just a few short weeks ago. Can Powers get another victory over Edwards here tonight? ★★★ BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE ★★★ UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP (c) James Edwards vs. Max Powers The bell sounds as Edwards drops down to the mat. The crowd erupts with boos as Edwards waves Powers over to him. Geoff Penzer: What the heck? What in the world is James Edwards doing? Powers puts his hands on his hips while Edwards barks at him to pin him. Geoff Penzer: James Edwards is laying down for Max Powers! That’s the lack of respect that he has for that United States Championship! Fans, I cannot believe what we’re seeing here tonight. Powers just shakes his head at Edwards before heading out of the ring. As Powers makes his way up the ramp, he can be seen mouthing the words “not like this…” Geoff Penzer: Max Powers wanted a fight. He wanted to wrestle that title away from Edwards, not get it handed to him by The Burning Heart. Powers continues to head up the aisle as a frustrated Edwards rolls to the outside. The Burning Heart races up the aisle before knocking Powers down with a lariat from behind! He then yanks up Powers, runs back down the aisle and throwing Powers back into the ring. As soon as Edwards rolls back in, the crowd explodes with cheers when Powers races across the ring to knock Edwards off his feet with a running dropkick! Geoff Penzer: Powers got Edwards with all of that dropkick! The cheers continue as another dropkick returns Edwards to the mat. When Edwards gets back to his feet, Powers goes for another dropkick. This time, Edwards sidesteps and swats Powers down. After Powers gets up to a knee, Edwards is quick to throw out the False Gospel (Feigned VG into a reverse roundhouse kick). But Powers ducks, pops to his feet and then pops Edwards with a right hand! The crowd cheers when Powers knocks Edwards back with another right hand. Powers goes for a third right hand when Edwards blocks and counters with a Mongolian Chop! The Burning Heart fires back with an open hand strike. Another open hand strike knocks Powers even further back. Edwards pushes forward and moves Powers into the far corner. From there, Edwards goes to work with forearm smashes that sends Powers slumping down to the mat. Edwards reaches down, yanks Powers back up and then sends Powers slumping back down with Mongolian Chops! The Burning Heart reaches down, pulls Powers back up and nails him with a knee from the clinch, causing Powers to double over before he slumps down in the corner. Geoff Penzer: Edwards is going to town on Powers in the corner! Powers had the right idea to get Edwards off his feet and keep the pace fast. But once Powers got trapped in the corner, he was in Edwards’ domain. Edwards reaches down, pulls up Powers by the hair and then sends him into the far corner with an irish whip. The Burning Heart runs across the ring to attack as Powers goes to counter with a boot to the face. After Edwards catches his foot, Powers leans back in the corner, pulls back his free leg and then blasts Edwards in the face with a push kick. Powers then hoists himself up onto the middle ropes before bringing Edwards down with a flying hurricanrana! As Edwards gets back to his feet, Powers runs over, jumps up and brings him down with a headscissors takedown. Powers quickly gets besides Edwards before throwing out a standing moonsault. Edwards goes to counter by getting his knees up. But Powers purposely over shoots his mark, lands on his feet and quickly follows up with a leg drop. He then turns over into a lateral press. ONE! . . Edwards kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Quick nearfall there from Powers... Powers takes Edwards and goes for an irish whip when Edwards reverses. When Powers returns, he slides through Edwards’ legs. When Edwards turns around, he runs at Edwards. The Burning Heart throws out a Kesagiri Chop, which Powers ducks. When Edwards turns around, he throws out a Mongolian Chop. Again, Powers ducks and positions himself behind Edwards. When Edwards turns around, he throws out a roundhouse kick. But again, Powers ducks and rolls out of the way. The Burning Heart is getting frustrated and starting to apply pressure by marching towards Powers. Powers back himself up until his back hits the corner. From there, he slingshots himself out onto the apron before quickly catching Edwards with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. The shoulder thrust doubles Edwards over, as well as knocks him back a few steps. Powers then springboards to the top rope, dives over and brings Edwards down with a sunset flip! ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Another nearfall for Powers! Max Powers is holding his own in there against Edwards and is doing the smart thing by using his speed and agility to frustrate The Burning Heart! Or should I say, try to frustrated Edwards more than how he usually is. Powers picks up Edwards and goes for an irish whip when Edwards reverses, sending Powers into the ropes. When Powers returns, he goes to slide through Edwards’ legs again when Edwards reaches down and grabs him by the hair. He then yanks Powers up from off the mat, runs and chucks Powers through the ropes and to the floor! Geoff Penzer: Powers took a hard tumble to the floor there! While Powers tries to pick himself up on the outside, Edwards turns and head sinto the far ropes. When Edwards comes back, he charges forward and leaps through the ropes for a suicide dive. The crowd explodes with cheers when Powers moves out of the way, causing Edwards to crash to the floor! Geoff Penzer: Edwards missed! There was nobody home! Powers was able to get out of dodge just in time! Powers rolls back in and waits for the ref to count Edwards out. THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! When Edwards starts to pick himself up on the outside, Powers rolls back out onto the apron, pulls himself up and knocks Edwards back with a back kick to the face. The cheers continue when Powers knocks Edwards down with an Asai Moonsault! Geoff Penzer: Powers got a ton of hangtime before he took Edwards down with that moonsault to the outside! Powers picks up Edwards and rolls him back inside. After climbing back up onto the apron, Powers goes for a slingshot leg drop. But Edwards rolls out of the way, causing Powers to hit the mat. Edwards then mounts on top of Powers. Cheers and boos are heard while Edwards rains down hammer fists to the face. Geoff Penzer: The Burning Heart is going to town on Powers! The Burning Heart pulls up Powers before whipping him into the far ropes. When Powers returns, Edwards doubles him over with a boot to the midsection before throwing him down with a Butterfly Suplex! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Powers kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Powerful suplex there from Edwards, but it only gets a count of two. Edwards takes Powers and whips him into the corner. The Burning Heart charges in when Powers knocks him back with a back elbow to the face. Edwards then rushes back in. This time, Powers knocks him back with a boot to the face. Edwards motions back towards the corner when Powers takes him down with a Lou Thesz Press. He then mounts himself on top of Edwards before delivering alternating hammer fists to the face! Geoff Penzer: Powers is returning the favor and giving Edwards a taste of his own medicine. Powers continues to rain down the fists until Edwards rolls over, mounts on top of Powers and rains down forearm strikes to the face! He then pulls Powers back to his feet before whipping him into the ropes. Instead of coming back, hangs Powers hangs onto the ropes. So Edwards rushes over to attack when Powers ducks and dumps him over the top rope… only for Edwards to land safely on the apron. When Powers turns around, Edwards hits him with a shoulder thrust before pulling him through the ropes. From there, Edwards lifts Powers up before throwing him down with a gutwrench facebuster to the floor! The crowd groans after Powers is thrown hard to the ground. Geoff Penzer: Edwards with no regard for Powers with that gutwrench facebuster off the apron! Edwards yanks up Powers before rolling him back inside. He then rolls back in before making the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Powers gets his shoulder up. Edwards takes Powers, delivers an irish whip and follows him across the ring. As soon as Power hits the ropes, Edwards doubles him over with a knee to the midsection. He then hoists Powers up from the side before throwing him down hard with a gutwrench powerbomb! While Powers is sprawled out on the mat, Edwards steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. Geoff Penzer: Edwards is looking to end this right here! The crowd buzzes with anticipation as Edwards gets to the top turnbuckle. The Burning Heart then leaps off for a diving headbutt. While Edwards is on the way down, Powers rolls out of the way. The crowd then explodes with cheers when Edwards lands face-first on the mat! Geoff Penzer: Edwards missed! Once again, the high risk doesn’t pay off for him! After Edwards pushes himself up off the mat, Powers rushes over and connects with a running front dropkick, sending Edwards flying into the turnbuckles. After Edwards slumps down in the corner, Powers heads over, pulls him back up and sends him into the far corner with an irish whip. Powers runs across the ring before connecting with a flying discus punch! He follows up by bringing Edwards down with a bulldog out of the corner! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards kicks out. Powers takes Edwards and goes for an irish whip. But Edwards is quick to reverse, sending Powers into the ropes. When Powers returns, Edwards lifts him up across his shoulders before bringing him down with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Powers gets his shoulder up. Edwards sits up Powers before applying a neck crank. Geoff Penzer: Edwards now trying to wear down the faster Powers... Powers groans while Edwards continues to keep the neck crank applied. The ref asks Powers if he wants to give up. When he refuses, Edwards applies even more pressure, which causes Powers to let out a yelp. Geoff Penzer: Edwards is applying an immense amount of pressure. Will Powers be able to fight through this? Edwards continues to fight for the submission while Powers does his best to try and hang on. He reaches his arm out to the fans for support. The capacity crowd starts to rally behind the SMWB member by clapping their hands. Powers then begins to feed off their energy by shaking his arm in unison with the chants. The ref asks him if he wants to give up. Again, he refuses. Powers then slowly turns over onto a knee. After slowly getting back to his feet, he delivers an elbow to the midsection. Powers then hits Edwards with another elbow… and another… and another. The last elbow breaks the hold. Now free, Powers turns and goes to head towards the ropes. But Edwards is quick to grab him from behind and throw him down with a reverse snap powerslam! He then pulls Powers over onto his back before making the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! The crowd cheers when Powers gets his shoulder up. Edwards takes Powers and goes for an irish whip. Powers then reverses, sending Edwards into the ropes. When The Burning Heart returns, the crowd cheers when Powers knocks him off his feet with a spinning heel kick! Geoff Penzer: Edwards is down! But so is Powers! That spinning heel kick might have took the last ounce of energy out of him! Who can get to their feet first? With both grapplers down, the ref starts his count. ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! Once both grapplers return to their feet, Powers runs over at Edwards. The Burning Heart tries to strike him down with a lariat. But Powers ducks the blow before heading into the ropes. When Powers comes back, he executes a tilt-a-whirl headscissors, sending Edwards through the ropes and to the floor! Powers returns to his feet before taking off into the far ropes. When Powers returns, the crowd cheers as she leaps through the ropes and knocks Edwards down with a suicide dive! Geoff Penzer: Unlike Edwards, the high risk pays off for Max Powers! Powers picks up Edwards and rolls him back inside. After climbing up onto the apron, Powers goes over and climbs the turnbuckles. When Edwards gets back to his feet and turns around, Powers leaps off the top turnbuckle before bringing him down with a flying crossbody block! ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards gets his shoulder up. Powers picks up Edwards before knocking him back with knife edge chops. He then turns and heads into the far ropes. When Powers returns, Edwards grabs him, runs and tosses him over the top rope… only for him to land safely on the apron. Edwards goes over to attack when Powers doubles him over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. He then brings Powers down with a Mushroom Stomp! The cheers continue as he pushes Edwards over before making the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Another nearfall for Powers. Powers takes Edwards and goes for an irish whip, but Edwards is quick to reverse. When Powers returns, he knocks Edwards down with a Koopa Kick (Rolling Koppu Kick)! The cheers continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Oh, only two! Powers takes Edwards and hits him with a Chain Chomp (short-arm forearm smash)! Powers hits Edwards with a second Chain Chomp! Then a third! He goes to follow up with a kick to the midsection. As soon as Edwards catches his foot, Powers follows up with an enzuigiri! He then grabs a hold of Edwards before planting him with It’s-A-Me-DT (Snap DDT)! The cheers continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! A mix of cheers and boos are heard when Edwards gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: So close! Powers steps out onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles. Once Edwards gets back to a vertical base, Powers leaps off for a missile dropkick, only for Edwards to dive out of the way at the last second! After Powers picks himself back up, he turns around and gets caught with the Double Tap (consecutive spinning backfists)! Edwards then rocks him with the Double Take (Jumping Switch Kick) before bringing him down with the Long Way Round (pumphandle lift into a snap Death Valley Driver)! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! Cheers and boos are heard as “My Name is Human” blares throughout the arena. Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner and STILL United States Champion, JAMES EDWARDS! The mixed reaction continues as Edwards gets his arm raised in victory. After getting handed the US Title back, Edwards tosses it down to the mat. The Burning Heart rolls to the outside, takes the championship and drags it behind him while he makes his way up the ramp. Geoff Penzer: James Edwards successfully defends his United States Championship here tonight again Max Powers as he gains some measure of revenge from that tag team loss a few weeks ago. Also, Edwards has posted the time to beat of 15 minutes. Can tonight’s remaining Beat The Clock participants beat that time, or will Edwards be heading to Only The Strong Survive to challenge the new International Heavyweight Champion? We’ve got more Flashpoint to come, right after this... ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

Returning from the commercial break, Amanda Johnson is seen stood backstage at the Angel of the Winds Arena, together with Lowri Moss. With her match not being until later on in the show, Lowri is not yet in her ring attire, instead dressed in a pair of jeans, and she is again wearing a replica Wales rugby union jersey, still on a high from her nation’s sporting success of seven days ago.
Amanda Johnson: Lowri, later tonight you’ll be taking on Zola Star as part of the Beat The Clock Challenge, with a chance for you to go on to challenge Jimmy Page for the International Heavyweight Championship at Only The Strong Survive, if you’re able to win your match with the fastest time. How are you feeling, ahead of what is a big opportunity for you?
Lowri Moss: It’s a massive opportunity, Amanda, for me and a dozen or so others. Come the end of the night, one of us is going to be the new number one contender for the International Heavyweight title. It’s not everyday that you get the chance to claim a shot at one of the top titles in FGA, so it’s an opportunity that I’m relishing, and one that I’m aiming to take advantage of.
Lowri is then quick to add a further statement, one that answers Amanda’s actual question.
Lowri Moss: But as for how I’m feeling right now, I’m actually feeling a little bit nostalgic.
An intrigued Amanda raises an eyebrow.
Amanda Johnson: Nostalgic about what?
Lowri Moss: The night that I made my first appearance inside an FGA ring.
Lowri takes a breath, before continuing.
Lowri Moss: It was two years ago this month that I beat the-long-since-departed Ian Cross in my FGA debut, as everyone around here got their first glimpse of my brand of British strong style. On that same night though, there was another Beat The Clock Challenge, which on that occasion was to determine a new number one contender for the then-Undisputed Championship, with Izzy Anders being the one who came out on top.
Upon mentioning her “wrestling mother,” a smile crosses Lowri’s face.
Lowri Moss: When I arrived in FGA, I was only six months into my career, the number of matches that I had under my belt was barely into double figures, and I was still living in the UK. But now, this place is my home, and I think it’s fair to say I’ve come a long way since that first match, in March of two years ago.
Her smile broadens slightly.
Lowri Moss: When I set foot inside the ring later, for my match with Zola, I’ll be taking inspiration from what Izzy achieved on my first night here. I know she hasn’t always been the most popular person in FGA, but despite that, I don’t think I’ve ever really hidden my admiration for her, and now - not for the first time - I’m aiming to emulate her. Izzy’s goal at the time was to become the Undisputed Champion, and after winning the Beat The Clock Challenge, she went on to accomplish that; my ultimate goal, now that I’m on Flashpoint, is to become the International Heavyweight Champion, something that I’m determined to accomplish, possibly sooner rather than later - although once I win the belt, I don’t plan to then set fire to it.
She lets out a chuckle.
Lowri Moss: I’ve been able to be part of a successful tag team, with Neal Durden, but I’ve also had my fair share of success around here on my own, and I’ve got plenty of people talking me up as one of the best grapplers on either brand, with Marlon Cure the latest to do so. However, during my time so far in FGA, I’ve never really come close to having a chance to compete for the top prize. I’ve been in a couple of battle royals in the past, and of course I was in the Frontier Lions Cup a few months ago, where I lost in the first round to the eventual winner, Evan Envi. Tonight though, I just have to win one match, against one opponent, and if I do so in the quickest time, then like you said, Amanda, it’ll be me versus Jimmy Page at Only The Strong Survive, for the International Heavyweight Championship. And then, that ultimate goal will be well within reach.
Amanda Johnson: Your opponent tonight, Zola Star, is still a relative newcomer to FGA, having joined the Flashpoint roster back in January as part of the draft lottery, just like yourself. What’s your opinion of her?
Lowri Moss: I think she has got the talent and the potential to be successful in FGA, or anywhere else for that matter. I’m aware that she has trained with some big names, including at least one former world champion, which definitely won’t have done her any harm. She has already shown that she has what it takes to be a champion, having had a lengthy reign as the Evolution Champion in RISE, which only came to an end when RISE was forced to close its doors, and now that’s she here in FGA, I’m sure she’ll be hoping to get her hands on more gold before too long.
Lowri pauses to take another breath.
Lowri Moss: Following the draft, Zola sent me a tweet to say that she couldn’t wait to see whether we would cross paths, which… I’m not sure if sent anyone else a tweet like that, but I was certainly flattered by it. I know she’s excited for this match, as am I. We’re quite similar in terms of age, size, and experience, and I think the fans should be in for a good contest. However, with that being said…
A sigh escapes her lips.
Lowri Moss: At the risk of sounding cocky, out of the two of us, I believe that right now, I’m better than Zola, and I’m confident that I’ll be the one getting their hand raised at the end of our match. Whether I can win the match in the fastest time of the night remains to be seen though.
Amanda Johnson: While I’m sure you want to concentrate on your match tonight, it would be remiss of me not to ask you about what happened two and a half weeks ago, in the World Tag Team Championship match at 2019: A New Odyssey.
Lowri nods, somewhat surprised that it has taken Amanda until now to bring up that particular subject.
Amanda Johnson: There was a controversial ending, as for a moment it appeared that you and Neal Durden had won the match, only for the Chaotics to then be announced as the winners, before finally the match was declared a draw. What were your emotions like after that?
Lowri Moss: I was frustrated - very, very frustrated. Neal and I went into the match looking to make history once more, and we thought we had done it. We were presented with the titles, but then I only had the belt in my hands for a few seconds before it was taken away from me, and…
Lowri pauses again, taking a second or two to gather her thoughts.
Lowri Moss: It was a wholly unsatisfying ending. Obviously Neal and I weren’t happy with what happened, neither were the fans, and to his credit, Logan Alexander didn’t seem too pleased about it either. I think the only person who was content with the outcome was Ashlyn De Luca - not that that’s much of a surprise.
There is another sigh from Lowri.
Lowri Moss: You know, I noticed that neither of the Chaotics are involved in the Beat The Clock Challenge. In fact, excluding Jimmy Page, they’re the only champions who aren’t in the Beat The Clock Challenge, which is a shame, as I would’ve liked to possibly have another one-on-one match with Ashlyn; I think another ten second win would’ve pretty much guaranteed me the title shot at Only The Strong Survive.
She smirks, having not missed a chance to bring up her recent rapid victory in singles action against Ashlyn De Luca.
Amanda Johnson: Regardless of how you fare tonight, is it safe to assume that you’re going to want to have another match with the Chaotics for their titles?
Lowri nods her head again.
Lowri Moss: Absolutely. The match at A New Odyssey didn’t settle anything. As far as Neal and I are concerned, we’ve got unfinished business with the Chaotics, and hopefully we’ll get a rematch with them at Only The Strong Survive, if not sooner.
Amanda Johnson: You’ve got your sights set on challenging for both the International Heavyweight Championship and the World Tag Team Championship at Only The Strong Survive, then?
Lowri Moss: Sure, why not? Tomorrow night at Revelations, Fujiko Mine is going to be competing for both the world title and the US tag titles, so why can’t I do something similar at the end of next month?
Lowri shrugs nonchalantly.
Lowri Moss: And remember, Amanda, in the seven-plus year history of FGA, there have two double champions. One of them was Cordelia Stevenson. The other one was me.
She has a grin on her face, as she continues.
Lowri Moss: I’ve done it before. I can do it again.
With Lowri looking confident about her prospects, the camera then cuts elsewhere.

The former two time FGA 15 Champion Kendall Kingham, a ray of light and positive energy inside the Flashpoint Zone, looks conflicted if not outright distraught. She's sitting on a stool in front of a mirror in her locker room, chin resting on her hands as she stares at her reflection.
Kendall Kingham: Hi self.
She gives a short wave.
Kendall Kingham: I've seen wrestlers do these little videos before talking to each other in the mirror, usually to like signal some personal growth or something, before it actually leads to nothing and everything goes back to being the same. I'm hoping this actually does something though, and I can force some kind of ... if not change or a step forward, some clarity.
A deep breath.
Kendall Kingham: Because I don't really know what or how to think or feel, and I haven't since the last show. Like, I wanted to kinda sulk or feel bad for myself, but that didn't feel right with something way worse happening at the end of the show. And I also thought maybe I should put on a brave face and smile, be positive but it also didn't feel right to be all happy and cheery with the whole cloud hanging over the show.
She lightly shrugs her shoulders and bites at her bottom lip.
Kendall Kingham: All this time later I still don't know what to feel because like I feel like I'm at a crossroads and I don't know whether to stay true to myself, whether I need to adapt, or what. I've always wanted to take a step forward and be competing for the top prize but it's also kind of terrifying to take that leap into facing someone like Jimmy who did what he did. Like yeah he was pushed there, but it's still scary as all heck. But the fact is, I haven't done great in tournaments, beat the clock things, anything process of elimation-y here in the Flashpoint Zone. I've been successful, but I've also really got to kind of make that leap at some point into the next step because I won't keep getting these chances if I keep blowing them.
A nod.
Kendall Kingham: And then there's that 15 Championship back on the line, where I pretty much have to look to win quickly and urgently because of the time limit. It's tough for me, I'm not a super explosive athlete or whatever, but I think I step up to that challenge pretty well. And maybe I should be confident, because I usually do better against opponents the more times I face them. But on the other hand ...
Her voice starts to trail off.
Kendall Kingham: ... The idea of coming up short and just fading away like so many other 15 Champions did, of knocking myself out of contention for two titles at once, that's terrifying. And seems like it might be a real possibility because you usually figure these things out Kendall, but this time the results have been getting worse against Sadie instead of better.
She extends an index finger and points at herself in the mirror.
Kendall Kingham: You need to figure this out Kendall, you need to fight like your professional life is on the line because it might as well be. What you need to do is just--
A pause hangs in the air, before a lightbulb seemingly goes off.
Kendall Kingham: -- quit getting in your own head, and just leave it all out there. Yeah, that.
She stands up slowly, awkwardly looks around, then remarks.
Kendall Kingham: Welp, that was kinda dumb looking, huh? I uh, I'll just see you all out there in the Flashpoint Zone and go out there and wrestle.

★★★ BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE ★★★ FGA 15 Championship (c) Sadie San Francisco vs. Kendall Kingham The lights drop, and multi-colored ones start strobing around as "Professional Griefers" starts up to the cheers of the crowd. Kendall Kingham emerges into sight wearing her regular gear, sunglasses, and an airbrushed jacket. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 15 minute time limit! It’s apart of the Beat The Clock Challenge and it is for the FGA 15 CHAMPIONSHIP! Kendall bounces on the balls of her toes before making her way down the ramp, slapping a few hands along the way. Melanie Sierra: Introducing first, the challenger! From Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, New York! Weighing in at 152 pounds… KENDALL KINGHAM! She hops up on the apron, runs to an unoccupied corner, and climbs to the second turnbuckle. Raising a fist to a pop from the crowd, she slingshots herself inside, and removes her jacket and glasses as the lights come back on while her music fades. Geoff Penzer: We’re back wrestling fans for our second Beat The Challenge contest of the evening. It is a rematch from A New Odyssey as Sadie San Francisco will defend her newly won 15 Championship against a grappler that put her name down as one of the best to hold that championship, Kendall Kingham! As you all saw moments ago, Kingham is feeling a ton of pressure. Not only is this possibly her last shot at the 15 Championship for a while, but the Beat The Clock Challenge is also hanging over her head. Let’s see if this young lady can keep it together for this one. The lights in the arena fade to a rose-gold color as the familiar sound of smooth jazz echoes throughout the building. “Young Nation” hits the PA system and a roar surges throughout audience. Sadie San Francisco steps out to the top of the ramp, offering a quick wink to the camera nearest before continuing past. Sadie pauses at the bottom of the ramp, performing a full turn as she gazes at the masses surrounding her. Melanie Sierra: And her opponent, from The West Side! Weighing in at 129 pounds! She is the reigning… defending… FGA 15 Champion! She is ‘The Pope” SADIE SAN FRANCISCO! Nodding a bit to herself, Sadie strides around to the side of the ring facing the hard camera. She climbs onto the apron, narrowing her eyes at the camera is it pans closer to her, capturing only a cold gaze from Sadie as she spends a few seconds staring into the lens-- before slinking through the ropes, sliding seamlessly back into the ring. Sadie makes her way toward the turnbuckles, slowly ascending to the second rope, shooting a broad smile out toward the raucous audience before raising a single “V” above her head with her left hand. Sadie casually drops down from the turnbuckles and turns, leaning against the turnbuckles as she awaits competition. Geoff Penzer: “The Pope” has won her second championship here since coming to the promotion a couple of years ago. She had a magnificent run as Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion. I would assume that Sadie is looking to match, if not beat that level of success now that she’s the 15 Champion. This will be her third meeting with Kingham. The first match ended in a Time Limit Draw while the second match saw Sadie get the win and the title. Tonight, these two will have fifteen minutes to decide this third and final match between them. Interestingly enough, 15 minutes is also the time to beat, which was set by James Edwards in our opener! Both grapplers start of the match with a handshake, which gets a round of applause from the crowd. They then circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, San Francisco gains the advantage with a side headlock. Kingham is then quickly brought down to the mat with a side headlock takedown. The ref kneels down and asks Kingham if she wants to give up, but she refuses. She’s then able to reverse into a headscissors. The ref goes over to San Francisco and asks her if she wants to give up. The Pope refuses. After San Francisco escapes with a kip up, Kingham scrambles back to a vertical base. She’s quickly snatched up by San Francisco into a front facelock. The Pope then delivers sharp elbows to the back of the head and neck! She then scoops Kingham up from the side before bringing Kingham down with a Sidewalk Slam! She hooks the near leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kingham gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: The new 15 Champion gets the first nearfall of this contest. Many names have been talked about as potential challengers for the 15 Championship. But there’s no bigger challenge than the woman sharing the ring with Sadie here tonight! San Francisco picks up Kingham and delivers an arm wrench. After a second arm wrench is executed, Kingham rolls forward, turns over onto her knees, flips over with a handstand, spins in place, transitions into a hammerlock and then brings San Francisco down with a hammerlock back suplex! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . San Francisco kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Kingham with a quick nearfall. The former 15 Champion was wise to target the dominant arm of The Pope with that hammerlock suplex. Kingham picks up San Francisco and applies an armbar. The Pope then reaches over with her right arm before moving Kingham into the ropes to initiate a rope break. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… As soon as Kingham lets go, San Francisco grabs her, delivers an irish whip and follows her across the ring. As soon as Kingham hits the ropes, San Francisco nails her with a running high knee that sends her slumping down against the ropes! San Francisco then turns and heads into the far ropes. When The Pope returns, she looks to lock up Kingham in Alcatraz (Tiger Feint Crucifix Armbar). As San Francisco swings through the ropes, Kingham quickly spins around and catches San Francisco’s legs! Kingham then hooks her arms arond her legs before leaning back, sending San Francisco throat-first against the bottom of the top rope with a catapult! The Pope drops down to the mat before slowly rolling out to the floor. Geoff Penzer: Oh my! That did not end the way that Sadie San Francisco had planned! After two highly contested matches against The Pope, Kendall Kingham has got the 15 Champ well scouted. San Francisco is seen down on all fours. She then reaches up and guards her throat. While The Pope tries to pick herself back up, Kingham turns and heads into the far ropes. When Kingham returns, the crowd cheers as she leaps through the ropes and knocks San Francisco down with a suicide European Uppercut! She then rolls San Francisco back inside before rolling back in to make the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . San Francisco gets her foot on the bottom rope. Geoff Penzer: Kingham got all of that dive to the outside! But she only gets a two count on the pinfall attempt! Kingham picks up San Francisco, moves her into the corner and delivers a trio of European Uppercuts. After an irish whip sends San Francisco into the far corner, Kingham charges across the ring and blasts her with a running European Uppercut! She then turns San Francisco around before throwing her out of the corner with a German Suplex! Kingham returns to her feet before hoisting herself up onto the middle ropes. Once San Francisco gets back to a vertical base, Kingham leaps off before knocking her down with a diving European Uppercut! The cheers continue as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . San Francisco kicks out. Kingham picks up San Francisco and goes for an irish whip. The Pope quickly reverses, sending Kingham into the ropes. When Kingham returns, she goes for a crossbody block when San Francisco counters with a snap powerslam! She hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kingham gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Nice counter there by the champion! San Francisco picks up Kingham, moves her into the corner and delivers left arm forearm strikes to the face. She then lights Kingham up with knife edge chops to the chest. Kingham is then sent into the far corner with an irish whip. San Francisco runs across the ring to attack when Kingham knocks her back with a back elbow to the face. Kingham turns to face the turnbuckles before going for a springboard European Uppercut. As soon as Kingham jumps onto the middle ropes, San Francisco runs over, jump up onto the middle ropes before her and throws her down with a German Suplex! Kingham tries to push herself up off the mat. But San Francisco runs over, jumps up and brings her down with a Fameasser! The cheers continue as she pulls Kingham over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kingham gets her shoulder up. San Francisco takes Kingham and goes for a Saito Suplex. But Kingham’s able to slip down from behind before bringing San Francisco down with a three quarter facelock russian leg sweep! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . San Francisco kicks out. Geoff Penzer: This match is turning about to be just as highly contested as their previous two encounters. Kingham picks up San Francisco and lifts her up across her shoulder for a Canadian Backbreaker Drop. The Pope then begins to kick her legs until she slips down behind Kingham. When Kingham turns around, she gets caught with a back elbow to the face. San Francisco then heads into the ropes. When San Francisco comes back, she sees Kingham running past her. So she slams on the breaks. When Kingham comes back, she sees San Francisco running past her into the ropes. So she slams on the brakes. When Kingham turns around, she gets rocked with a spinning back elbow! San Francisco then throws out a spinning backfist when Kingham catches the arm and counters with a single arm DDT! Geoff Penzer: Kingham against targets the dominant arm of Sadie San Francisco! Kingham picks up San Francisco, wrenches her arm and then brings her down with a double knee armbreaker! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . San Francisco gets her right shoulder up. Kingham brings San Francisco back to her feet, wrenches the arm and follows up with an armbreaker across her shoulder, sending the champion staggering into the ropes. While San Francisco holds her arm, Kingham turns and heads into the far ropes. When the challenger returns, San Francisco ducks and dumps her over the top rope… only for Kingham to land safely on the apron. When San Francisco turns around, the crowd cheers when Kingham tackles her down with a slingshot spear! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . San Francisco gets her right shoulder up. Kingham pulls up San Francisco before knocking her back with a European Uppercut. She then goes over, takes the champion by the wrist and whips her into the ropes. When San Francisco returns, she sees Kingham setting up for a back body drop. So she counters with a kick to the face that knocks Kingham upright. San Francisco then takes control of the arm, wrenches it and follows up with an inverted foot stomp! While Kingham is rocked, San Francisco gets back to her feet, wrenches the arm again and follows up with a right shoulder jawbreaker! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kingham gets her shoulder up. San Francisco picks up Kingham, delivers an irish whip and follows her into the corner. Instead of crashing into the corner, Kingham grabs a hold of the top ropes with both hands and vaults over the oncoming San Francisco. When The Pope turns around, Kingham rocks her with a discus European Uppercut! She then turns San Francisco around before sitting her down on the top turnbuckles. Kingham then reaches up and lifts San Francisco across her shoulders before heading towards the center of the ring. The crowd cheers when Kingham brings her down with an Argentine Neckbreaker! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . San Francisco gets her right shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Another close call there for the champion. Kingham has just taken a peak at the clock displayed on the Video Tron. She’s feeling the pressure. Kingham pulls San Francisco back to her feet before placing her in a Thai Plum. From there, Kingham nails San Francisco with short knees to the body that doubles her over. Kingham lets go before heading into the far ropes. When Kingham returns, she throws out a Knee Trembler. But San Francisco slips out of the way. She quickly grabs Kingham from behind and throws her down with a Saito Suplex! Geoff Penzer: San Francisco got the suplex on her second attempt! But she’s unable to get over and make the cover. With both grapplers down, the ref starts his count. ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! After both grapplers return to their feet, San Francisco nails Kingham with a forearm strike. Kingham answers back with a European Uppercut. San Francisco nails Kingham with another forearm strike. Kingham answers back with another European Uppercut. San Francisco then delivers yet another forearm strike. Kingham answers back with another European Uppercut. San Francisco connects with another forearm strike! Kingham answers bac-NO! San Francisco cuts her off with a forearm strike! The 15 Champion nails Kingham with another forearm… and another forearm… and another… and another… and anoth-NO! Kingham blocks the move, quickly takes control of the left wrist and sends San Francisco crashing down shoulder-first to the mat with an arm wringer! She then takes control of San Francisco’s back before applying a Grounded Top Wristlock Submission! Geoff Penzer: Kingham’s got San Francisco locked in The Tombs! The ref gets down and asks San Francisco if she wants to give up. San Francisco refuses with a shake of the head. So Kingham pulls back, increasing the pressure of the hold. Geoff Penzer: Kingham’s got it really sunk in now! San Francisco’s got nowhere to go! She’s trapped in the submission! Right in front of her is the Video Tron! She’s sees the clock ticking down! She’s feeling her newly-won championship slowly slipping away from her! The official continues to check in with San Francisco and asks her if she wants to give up. But the champion refuses. Geoff Penzer: The Pope will not quit! She refuses to give up! But how much more of this can she take!? Kingham continues to keep the hold locked on as she fights for the submission. The ref asks San Francisco once more if she’d like to give up. Once again, The Pope refuses. San Francisco then takes her free arm, wraps it around Kingham’s ankle and yanks forward, tripping up the challenger and bringing her down. Geoff Penzer: San Francisco escapes The Tombs! After both grapplers scramble back to a vertical base, San Francisco throws out another forearm strike. Kingham gets her forearms up to block it. She then counters for a European Uppercut, but San Francisco cuts her off with a gamengiri that knocks her down! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kingham gets her shoulder up. San Francisco slowly pulls up Kingham, doubles her over with a kick to the midsection and then goes for a sitout jawbreaker. Kingham counters by shoving San Francisco into the ropes. When The Pope returns, she throws out a bicycle kick. Kingham catches her foot and then swings the leg away from her. When San Francisco turns around, Kingham knocks her off her feet with a Samoan Spike! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . San Francisco gets her right shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Only two! Kingham picks up San Francisco and goes for an irish whip. The Pope reverses, sending Kingham crashing hard sternum-first into the corner. As Kingham stumbles away from the corner, San Francisco runs over and knocks her down with a Northern Lariat! The Pope then brings Kingham back up, blasts her with a bicycle knee and then brings her down with a sitout jawbreaker! The cheers continue as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! The crowd cheers when Kingham gets her shoulder up. San Francisco picks up Kingham, hooks her arms from behind and goes for a Tiger Suplex when Kingham counters with a wheelbarrow victory roll! She then sits up, turns San Francisco over into the prone position and goes to apply The Tombs! But San Francisco is able to slip out between between Kingham’s legs from behind before yanking Kingham down into the prone position. She then gains control of Kingham’s back by applying Our Lady of Sorrows (STF)! Geoff Penzer: Sadie’s got control of Kingham’s back! She’s got Our Lady of Sorrows applied! The ref gets down and asks Kingham if she wants to give up. Kingham responds by wagging her finger at him. San Francisco then pulls back, causing Kingham to let out a groan. The crowd buzzes with anticipation for Kingham to submit. Geoff Penzer: It was just moments ago that Kingham was in the driver’s seat! Now Sadie’s the one with all the control! The official continues to check in with Kingham to see if she wants to quit. When Kingham refuses, San Francisco begins pulling back repeatedly on the hold. Geoff Penzer: The Pope is fighting like hell for that submission! She wants it! She wants it bad! Kingham reaches out for the ropes. But she’s not quite there. The Pope again pulls back on the hold, causing Kingham to groan. The official checks in with Kingham once more. Again, Kingham declines the chance to quit. She then reaches out and slowly pulls herself forward across the mat. San Francisco narrows her eyes when Kingham reaches out and slowly pulls herself across the mat again. The Pope locks the hold in as tight as she can while the former two-time 15 Champion scratches and claws her way across the canvas. Kingham slowly reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope! The crowd explodes with cheers and applause for the challenger! The ref gives San Francisco until the count of five to break the hold. Geoff Penzer: Kingham made it! She got to the ropes! You’ve got to admire her fight! What a competitor! Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… San Francisco releases the hold. The Pope slowly pulls Kingham up before whipping her into the far ropes. When Kingham returns, she goes for another crossbody block. This time, San Francisco counters with a bicycle kick to the midsection! She then pulls up Kingham, turns her around and throws her down with a bridging Dragon Suplex! ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! The crowd cheers when Kingham kicks out! San Francisco picks up Kingham, hooks both arms from behind and throws her down with a bridging Tiger Suplex! ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! The crowd cheers when Kingham kicks out! San Francisco picks up Kingham and sets her up for an Exploder Suplex. Before The Pope can throw her down, Kingham counters with elbows to the side of the head. She then lifts San Francisco up across her shoulder before bringing her down with a Canadian Backbreaker Drop! The cheers continue as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! The crowd cheers when San Francisco gets her right shoulder up. Kingham picks up San Francisco and delivers three European Uppercuts before rocking her with a Brazilian Kick! After Kingham takes control of San Francisco’s back, the crowd explodes with cheers when Kingham brings her down with the Australian Suplex! (Low bridging Tiger Suplex)! Geoff Penzer: Kingham with the Australian Suplex! This one is over! ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO! The crowd gasps, then explodes with cheers when San Francisco kicks out! Kingham looks at the ref in shock. Geoff Penzer: San Francisco got her shoulder up! I don’t know how she did, but she did! The Pope still has fight left in her! Kingham picks up San Francisco and whips her into the ropes. When San Francisco returns, Kingham throws out a Samoan Spike. The Pope ducks before heading into the ropes. When San Francisco returns, Kingham throws out a European Uppercut. But again, San Francisco ducks before continuing to run the ropes. When San Francisco comes back, she sees Kingham running past her towards the ropes. So she slams on the brakes. When San Francisco turns around, Kingham goes for a springboard European Uppercut. But San Francisco rolls out of the way. Once Kingham gets back to her feet, the crowd explodes with cheers when San Francisco charges over and knocks her off her feet with Palo Alto (corkscrew roundhouse knee strike)! Geoff Penzer: Kingham just got caught with Palo Alto! She’s out! Sadie’s going for the cover! ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO! The crowd gasps, then explodes with cheers when Kingham gets her shoulder up. The capacity crowd applauds the efforts of both champion and challenger. Geoff Penzer: How was Kingham able to survive that!? That should have put her away for the three count! What a match we’re witnessing tonight! San Francisco picks up Kingham and slowly hooks her arms from behind. She slowly tries to turn Kingham to get her into position for Vanity (Unprettier) when Kingham slips out from behind. She takes control of San Francisco’s back and lifts her up for a German Suplex. San Francisco counters with a back elbow to the face. After being lowered back down, San Francisco performs a standing switch and lifts up Kingham for a German of her own. But Kingham is able to counter with a back elbow to the face. After being lowered back down, Kingham turns around and hits San Francisco with a European Uppercut. San Francisco comes back with a forearm strike. Kingham nails San Francisco with another European Uppercut! San Francisco answers back with another forearm strike! Kingham then executes a standing double leg takedown before flipping over into a jackknife pin! ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO! San Francisco bridges up, turns, turns again, hooks Kingham’s arms from behind and then brings Kingham down with a backslide pin! ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO! San Francisco kicks out. DING! DING!! DING!!! Geoff Penzer: What just happened!? Did Kingham get the pin? I think she got the pin! Sadie San Francisco tried to kick out, but it might now have been in time! Kingham gets up and raises her arms in victory. Meanwhile, Sadie slowly gets back to a vertical base and is ready to continue fighting. On the outside, the official is giving his decision to Melanie Sierra. Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, since neither grappler were able to score a pinfall with the 15 minute time limit, this match has been ruled… a DRAW! The crowd erupts with boos. Both Kingham and San Francisco look equally displeased with the decision. Geoff Penzer: Wrestling fans, this match has been ruled a draw by the official. Another match between Kingham and Sadie has ended in a Time Limit Draw! James Edwards had the time to beat of 15 minutes. Kingham and Sadie had to win their match in 14:59 or else. Because the match ended in a draw, both have been eliminated from contention. Which means that James Edwards and his time of 15 minutes is still the time to beat. What an unbelievable turn of events! ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

As Flashpoint comes back from a commercial break, the figure of ace reporter Amanda Johnson is show standing in front of the red Flashpoint logon hanging on the wall. With the microphone clutched in her hand, she gives the camera a warm smile as she speaks.
Amanda Johnson: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time...Savannah Taylor.
The camera shifts slightly as Savannah walks into the frame and stands slightly away from Amanda. She is already dressed for tonight’s main event, sans her robe, and regards Amanda with short nod of her head.
Amanda Johnson: Tonight, you are taking part in the ‘Beat The Clock’ challenge where you and Ashley Sullivan will go one on one in tonight’s main event. But before we get into that, I want to take you back to A New Odyssey. That night saw you with a triumphant victory over a very tough Chris Madison.
Savannah cocks an eyebrow at Amanda and almost scoffs.
Savannah Taylor: Tough? Chris Madison? Amanda for months, I thought he was dead in a ditch in Taiwan or something. Then he pops up during the draft and is shipped off to the A show, and what does he do? He gets up in my business. And somehow in his CTE riddled brain, he thought he was ready to challenge me to a match. As everyone who watched A New Odyssey saw, his ego got the better of him and it was MY hand raised in victory….not his.
Amanda Johnson: It was a night that will be talked about for a long time to come, though not for the right reasons. What is your opinion of what happened during that brutal main event, and what happened afterwards?
Savannah Taylor: What happened after the main event….
She pauses a second before drawing in a sharp breath.
Savannah Taylor: What happened after the main event was nothing short of heinous. Regardless of what my thoughts and feelings are towards Chandler Scott, at the end of the day he is human just like the rest of us. He has just as much of a right to make a living here as the rest of us. For someone like Jimmy to take that away? That proves he isn’t the man that he claims to be. Chandler is one of the very few people in this business that I respect one hundred percent, and if Jimmy thinks this is over….
She simply shrugs her shoulders.
Amanda Johnson: Let’s get back to tonight and the Beat the Clock challenge. It is quite the impressive field of participants, all vying to be the one who puts themselves in a position to challenge Jimmy Page for the International Championship. Any one of them could walk away from tonight with their Golden ticket.
Savannah Taylor: Yes, let’s talk about the best and brightest that Flashpoint has to offer. My opponent in the main event, Ashley Sullivan, she’s...decent. Good, but not great. I’m aware that she is no slouch in the ring. Two time HKW Bloodlust champion, HKW Hybrid champion, and former HKW Tag Team champion. All accomplishments that should be celebrated. She’s been able to stand toe to toe with some of the biggest names that have ever been in wrestling.
She shakes her head, almost grinning.
Savannah Taylor: Now, I could stand here and play the “Anything you can do, I can do better” game, but I’m refraining from that. All Ashley has to do is ask around or look on YouTube. But if the future missus of a jacked up member of the Sands family with an obsession with North Carolina basketball thinks that she is getting past me and jumping ahead of me when it comes to the International championship….she’s dead wrong. I missed out on the initial chance to become champion. I’m not missing out on this one.
Amanda Johnson: What about the rest of the field, though? What if it’s someone else who has the better time?
Savannah Taylor: Amanda, let me give you a rundown of what is going to happen. Lowri Moss is going to be too worried about what happens in Neil Durden’s match to be much of a threat. Sadie and Kendall could be spoilers, but their focus is on the Fifteen Championship, as it should be. The only one I could see who would be the fly in the ointment is Salem, because she knows how to compete. Buuuuttt, she loves her stolen United States championship a little too much. And then we have James Edwards, who I almost GUARANTEE will be whining and crying on Twitter about how HE is supposed to be the one to face Jimmy Page for the International championship, despite coming up short in his previous title match. Matter of fact Amanda, you might want to set your watch to calculate how much time will pass between the end of the show and a James Edwards Twitter meltdown.
Amanda Johnson: Well, good luck out there tonight and may the odds…
Savannah raises a hand to cut her off.
Savannah Taylor: Save the Effie Trinket speech, Amanda. Instead, why not wish luck to the others competing in the Beat The clock challenge, aka the ones who really needs it.
With that, she turns on her heel and heads off in the direction of her locker room as the scene shifts elsewhere.

The scene slowly begins to come to life as the camera fades in. A black bag rests on a locker room bench. Nina Stokes walks into the shot about five seconds later. She reaches her hands into that bag as she begins to speak.
Nina Stokes: Excitement and glee overtook me when I saw the name Ayano next to mine of the docket…
Her right hand takes ahold of her one of her boots. Nina sets in down on the bench.
Nina Stokes: But those emotions were short lived. Why? Because my eyes panned over and I caught a glimpse of the name Night Train.
Another boot is removed. She places it by the other.
Nina Stokes: Not the world renowned Miko Ayano, one of the few women who I still love and respect in this sport. She’s always had my adoration. Not Merlot Ayano. She’s a goodie-goodie, sure; but her grit and accolades more than excuse her for that. Not witty O.E. Ayano of Femme Fatale Wrestling fame. Hell, not even the wild and wacky Spykes Ayano.
Next comes her kick pads. Nina quickly peers over them. She notices a spot or two of dust, which she quickly brushes away before she sets them on the bench as well.
Nina Stokes: No. All I get is Night Train.
A shake of the head follows as Nina continues to rummage through her bag.
Nina Stokes: I study wrestling, of all varieties. American, U.K., Japanese. Standard rules, death matches, etc. I’ve run across a fair amount of your matches, Night Train. I know what you can do in the ring. I know what you bring to the table. And therein lies my disappointment.
She pulls out her fight trunks and top.
Nina Stokes: Those cousins of yours that I just mentioned? They’re distinguished from you. You can look at them and tell that they all strive to be better—win, lose, or draw. I share that same mentality...
Nina Stokes: But you? I don’t know.
She shakes her head once more.
Nina Stokes: There’s something about you that irks me.
Nina folds her arms across her chest and strokes her chin as she ponders. It honestly appears as if she’s thinking things through. She snaps her fingers a couple of seconds later.
Nina Stokes: Oh. I’ve got it. It’s because you appear to be the embodiment of wasted potential.
Ms. Stokes finally turns and peers into the camera’s lens.
Nina Stokes: If you were some woman who was incapable of being better, then there wouldn’t be a reason to get disappointed. But that’s not you, Night Train. You’ve got all the tools in the world to succeed, just like your cousins. And yet, you don’t use them. You don’t sharpen them. You refuse to grow; you remain content.
A mild look of disgust washes over Nina as she shakes her head. She sets her gym bag aside and takes a seat next to her exposed gear.
Nina Stokes: I told you that I studied wrestling, Night Train. I watched you when the UKWF was still in operation. What a fascinating company that was. It was smaller promotion in nature, but it's roster rivaled even the best companies. It featured people such as Blaise Fader, Gaia Galonos, and Pendragon. And of course, there was you, Night Train.
She lets out a small chuckle before she carries on.
Nina Stokes: You were in quite the prime position. You fought alongside wrestlers that were loved and revered throughout the sport. You fought alongside people who would later become mavericks of this industry―
There’s a seconds pause.
Nina Stokes: But even though you were in their presence, you never truly brushed shoulders with those people, did you, Night Train? Because whenever you happened to look to your left and your right, no one was there. Instead, they were all in front of you, because you were always a step or two behind—that’s indicative of our match tonight.
Nina crosses her legs as she gazes forward.
Nina Stokes: You and I are going to be in the same ring. You and I are going to stand toe-to-toe. But you’ll never truly get to brush shoulders with me. Why? Because my trajectory is forward, while you’ll remain behind.
She allows her words to linger in the air a bit before she presses on.
Nina Stokes: Scrambles events aren’t my favorite, Night Train. But I suppose it’s just a bit of extra incentive, since I planned to get rid of you in a short amount of time anyway. Why not do myself a service and up the ranks in the process?
There’s a small smirk on Nina’s face as she uncrosses her legs and stands to her feet. The scene fades out as she begins to gather up all of her gear.

★★★ BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE ★★★ Cassius Reed vs. Neal Durden The initial riffs of “Wake Up” by Rage Against the Machine start playing over the sound system; as lights start to flicker in the arena. At the first “Come On!”; Neal Durden steps out of the curtain, standing in the middle of the stage, giving his back to the public his jacket tight against his torso; as the music continues. With the second “Come On”, Neal turns around with a smile on his face as the song continues and he begins walking down the ramp. As the line “Fist in the air in the land of hypocrisy” goes off, Neal gets his right fist up as he stops and looks around, before continuing his trot towards the ring. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is a Beat The Clock Challenge! It is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Cardiff, Wales! Weighing in at 180 pounds… NEAL DURDEN! The song continues as Neal rolls under the rope and enters the ring, as the line “the feds” hits the sound system, he kneels in the middle of the ring looking down, running his fingers on the surface of the mat. Suddenly Neal stops and looks up extending his left arm as if he was holding some kind of rifle and as the word "shot" is shouted in the song, he makes the motion of shooting and springs to his feet waiting for the bell. Geoff Penzer: We are back with our third Beat The Clock Challenge match of the night. It is a rematch of last year’s Rey Del Aire tournament as the 2018 Rey del Aire Winner, Cassius Reed, takes on Neal Durden! It’s not my fault your girlfriend like me, I do her hard like fucking warp speed, Your Dad’s mad, it’s not my fucking fault, That your Mom wants to fucking fuck me! As the intro to “You Suck” by Pour Habit blasts throughout the arena, out from the back bursts Cassius Reed! Slowly rotating in his gold lined black ring robe Cassius soaks in the atmosphere for just a moment. Spinning to face the ring, he shadow boxes at the top of the ramp a short time more, before posing, spreading his arms wide, and sprinting down to the ring at full pace! Melanie Sierra: Fighting out of Funkytown, USA, and tipping the scales tonight at 205 pounds… CASSIUS! REED! Sliding in under the bottom rope, he quickly rolls onto his back before kipping up! Giving a quick smirk and raised eyebrow to the referee, he turns and leaps to the top of the nearest turnbuckle, before whipping off his ring robe with a flourish. He poses just a moment at the top of the turnbuckle, smug grin on his face, robe hanging from his hand, before dropping back to the mat, consigning his entrance gear to the outside whilst he finishes warming up for the match with more shadow boxing. Geoff Penzer: Cassius Reed is ready to hand another defeat to Neal Durden here tonight. Durden, alongside Lowri Moss, came up short in their match against The Chaotics at A New Odyssey! Can Durden make up for last year’s loss to The Funky Dragon, or will Cassius set the time to beat here tonight? The bell sounds as Durden and Reed start things off with a lock up. Durden gains the advantage with a side headlock until Reed shoves him off into the ropes. When Durden returns, Reed knocks him down with a standing shoulder block. The Funky Dragon then heads into the ropes. When he returns, Durden turns over onto his stomach. So Reed hops over him before continuing to run the ropes. When Reed returns, he continues to run the ropes after Durden leapfrogs over him. When Reed comes back, Durden goes for a hip toss. After Reed blocks it, Durden tries to muscle him up for another hip toss. But again, Reed blocks it. After doubling Reed over with a punch to the midsection, Durden drapes his leg across the back of Reed’s necks. Durden then performs a backflip. As soon as he lands, he brings Reed down with an arm drag into an arm bar. The ref is quick to get down and ask Reed if he wants to give up. The Funky Dragon refuses. He then lies to the ref by claiming that Durden was pulling on his afro. After battling back to a vertical base, Reed rolls forward, leans back, kips up and transitions into a hammerlock. Durden then reaches back with his free arm, grabs Reed and brings him down in front of him with a jumping snapmare. After Reed returns to his feet, he leapfrogs over Durden as Durden charges at him. When Durden returns from the ropes, Reed (without turning around) leapfrogs over Durden a second time. Durden continues to run the ropes. When Durden comes back, Reed brings him down with What The Funk (handstand handspring headscissors takedown)! He then takes Durden and shoots him into the ropes. The Funky Dragon rushes in before Durden knocks him back with a back elbow to the face. Durden then turns to face the turnbuckles and goes for a springboard moonsault. Reed runs towards the corner to get out of the dodge. Instead of crashing to the mat, Durden lands safely on his feet. Reed then rushes over to attack when Durden catches him with another back elbow to the face. The Pendragon member sets up for a standing Shiranui when Reed shoves him off into the far ropes. When Durden returns, he slides through Reed’s legs. When Reed turns around, Durden pops to his feet before dropping him down to a knee with a low superkick to the leg. He then follows up with a Shining Wizard that flattens Reed on the mat! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Reed gets his shoulder up. Durden takes Reed, moves him into the corner and delivers three knife edge chops. After Reed is sent into the far corner with an irish whip, Durden runs across the ring to attack when Reed ducks and dumps him over the top rope. Instead of crashing to the floor, Durden lands safely on the apron. Reed turns around and throws out a left hook but Durden ducks. Durden then ducks a right hook before doubling Reed over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. Durden then goes for a springboard maneuver when Reed whacks him with a Pimp Slap, sending the tag specialist down to the floor! Geoff Penzer: Reed just slapped Durden out of the air! While Durden picks himself back up, Reed turns and runs into the far ropes. When The Funky Dragon returns, he brings Durden down with a slingshot huracanrana! He then rolls Durden back inside, climbs up onto the apron and follows up with a slingshot left elbow drop! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden kicks out. Reed moves Durden into the corner before delivering alternating jabs to the head and body. He then follows it up with a discus punch that sends Durden slumping down in the corner. While Durden is rocked the crowd boos as Reed moonwalks back towards the center of the ring while running his hands through his afro. He then charges forward and dives at Durden. The move causes Durden to instinctively flinch. But instead of crashing into Durden, Reed lands in a handstand. He then launches himself away from Durden before landing on his feet. The boos continue as Reed can be seen mocking Durden for flinching. After pulling himself up in the corner, Durden runs over and throws out a clothesline, which Reed rolls underneath. When Durden turns around, Reed whacks him across the face with another Pimp Slap! Frustrated, Durden throws out a wild haymaker. But again, Reed uses his speed and agility to duck and slip out of the way. Durden then turns around and throws out a wild left and a wild right. Both of which end up getting ducked by Reed. Durden motions for another punch when Reed doubles him over with Johnny Cage (split-legged punch)! Reed rolls backwards back to his feet, pulls Durden into a front facelock and then plants him with a Snap DDT! The boos continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden kicks out. Reed makes another cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden kicks out. Reed with another lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden kicks out. Reed quickly mounts himself on top of Durden before delivering MMA-style punches from the top position! He then returns to his feet before putting the boots to Durden. The Funky Dragon then pulls Durden back to his feet before pulling him into the corner. Reed climbs up onto the middle ropes and positions Durden for a Tornado DDT. Before Reed can executes the move, Durden slips out of the front facelock and counters with a gamengiri, sending Reed flipping over the top rope and to the floor! Geoff Penzer: Durden with a desperation counter! Durden walks across the ring before heading into the opposite corner. Once Durden sees Reed getting up on the outside, the crowd explodes with cheers after Durden runs across the ring, hurls himself over the top turnbuckle (and the top of the ring post) and knocks him down with a somersault plancha! Geoff Penzer: What a dive by Durden! She just flipped over the ring post before wiping out Reed with a plancha! Insane! Durden picks up Reed and rolls him back inside. He then slides back into the ring before making the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Reed gets his shoulder up. Durden turns Reed over into the prone position, kneels down across his back and then pulls him over into a Bow & Arrow Hold! Geoff Penzer: Durden’s trying to wear down The Funky Dragon. Reed howls in pain while the ref asks him if he wants to give up. After Reed refuses, he reaches over and grabs the rope to force a rope break. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… Durden breaks the hold. He then picks up Reed before sending him into the far ropes. When Reed returns, Durden doubles him over with a boot to the midsection. After hooking Reed’s arms, Durden hoists him up for a double underhook sitout powerbomb. As soon as Reed is lifted up onto Durden’s shoulders, Reed counters with a huracanrana! He reaches back and hooks a leg… ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden kicks out. After both grapplers return to their feet, Reed throws out the Pimp Slap Symposium. But Durden is able to duck the initial slap, as well as the right jab-right-jab-left hook combo. After the left hook is evaded, Durden takes Reed and goes for an irish whip. Reed quickly reverses, sending Durden towards the ropes. Durden quickly uses the momentum to knock Reed down with a handspring back elbow! As Reed picks himself up, Durden heads into the ropes. When Durden returns, he goes for a running arched big boot. But Reed catches his foot, swings the leg away from him and brings him down with a belly to back suplex! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden gets his shoulder up. Reed takes Durden and brings him down with a snap suplex. With Durden on the mat, The Funky Dragon steps out onto the apron before making his way to the top turnbuckle. The crowd gasps when Reed leaps off for a diving leg drop… and ends up erupting with cheers when he misses after Durden rolls out of the way! Durden gets back to his feet, positions himself next to Reed and goes to follow up with a standing corkscrew moonsault. But at the last second, Reed gets his knees up! After Durden lands across the knees and turns over onto his back, Reed returns to a vertical base, positions himself next to Durden and crashes down across him with Funky Knee, Funky Do (standing moonsault double knee drop)! The boos continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden gets his shoulder up. Reed takes Durden’s leg, holds it up and delivers several kicks to it. The boos continue as The Funky Dragon drops three elbows across the leg. Reed continues to target the leg by locking Durden in a leg grapevine. The ref immediately gets down and asks Durden if he wants to give up. But Durden refuses. The Iron King continues to fight for the submission while Durden is trapped in the hold. Durden tries to turn over onto his stomach, but it’s to no avail as Reed blocks his every attempt. Durden then sits himself up before slowly scooting himself back across the mat. Durden then leans back, reaches up and grabs a hold of the bottom rope with both hands! The ref is quick to get in and give Reed until the count of five to break the hold. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Reed reluctantly breaks the choke. After pulling Durden back to his feet and slamming him face-first into the top turnbuckle, Reed climbs up to the middle ropes before planting Durden with a Tornado DDT! Instead of going for the cover, Reed drags Durden into position before stepping out onto the apron. The Funky Dragon takes in the boos of the capacity crowd before making his way to the top turnbuckle. From there, the crowd gasps when Reed flips off for a diving somersault leg drop. The crowd then explodes with cheers when Reed crashes to the mat after Durden rolls out of the way! Geoff Penzer: Reed misses again! This is Durden’s chance to get back in this contest! The Funky Dragon howls while he holds his legs. He slowly rolls himself over towards the side of the ring before pulling himself up using the ropes. Once Durden is also back to a vertical base, Reed limps over before throwing out a right hand. Durden is quick to block it and counter with a punch of his own. Reed throws out another punch, only to get it blocked and countered. The crowd is solidly behind Durden as he hits Reed with another punch… and another… and anoth-NO! The crowd boos when Reed blasts Durden with the Spanish Archer (Bionic Elbow)! He then does his best to throw out a discus punch. But Durden ducks the punch, grabs Reed and goes for an Olympic Slam. Instead of getting hit with the move, Reed slips down from behind before bringing Durden down with an inverted facelock backbreaker! Reed takes Durden and drags him over towards the corner. Reed smirks as he turns towards the turnbuckles before going for Plan C (split-legged corkscrew moonsault). But the smirk is wiped off his face when Durden gets his knees up! Geoff Penzer: Durden blocked Plan C! After bouncing off of Durden’s knees, Reed rolls over towards the center of the ring. After Reed struggles to pick himself back, Durden runs over and brings him down with a Sling Blade! He then takes Reed and whips him into the corner. Durden charges in and blasts him with a running arched big boot! While Reed is groggy in the corner, Durden turns him around before throwing him down with a schoolboy transitioned into a powerbomb! Durden then heads back into the corner and waits for Reed to get into position. After Reed finally gets back to a vertical base, Durden springboards to the top turnbuckle, flips back and knocks him down with a moonsault! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! The crowd boos when Reed gets his shoulder up. Durden takes Reed and goes for an irish whip when Reed reverses. When Durden returns, he slips down from behind after an attempted back body drop from Reed. After Reed turns around, Durden doubles him over with a superkick to the midsection. He then hops onto Reed back before bringing him down with a leg trap sunset flip powerbomb! The ref slides into place to make the count. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! The crowd boos when Reed gets his shoulder up. Durden brings Reed back to his feet before lifting him across his shoulders for a helicopter spin. The crowd cheers and counts with each rotation. ONE!

Durden then lifts Reed up before throwing him down with an Olympic Slam! With Reed sprawled out on the mat, Durden steps out onto the apron. He takes in the buzzing from the crowd and starts slapping the top turnbuckle pad. Durden then scales to the top turnbuckle with authority. From there, the crowd explodes with cheers when Durden flips off… and crashes down across Reed with the Starlight (Shooting Star Press)! He hooks the leg… ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! ★★★ BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE ★★★ Nina Stokes vs. Night Train Ayano As 'Nightrain' by Guns n' Roses plays, Night Train bounces out to the entrance, headbanging and running back and forth like the little dynamo she is. She races down to the ring, slapping a few hands and leaps onto the apron. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is apart of the Beat The Clock Challenge! Introducing first, from Los Angeles, California! Weighing in at 115 pounds… NIGHT TRAIN AYANO! Running back and forth and pumping her fist into the air, she lets out a howl and springs over the ropes, ready to rock! Geoff Penzer: Wrestling fans, we are back as the Beat The Clock Challenge continues! Just before the break, we saw Neal Durden of Pendragon upset Cassius Reed with a time of 13:42. That is now the time to beat for the rest of the night. If the rest of the participants are unsuccessful, then it will be Durden challenging Jimmy Page for the International Heavyweight Championship! The lights in the arena dim to a fairly darkened level. A couple of seconds pass before MUCC’s “Sei to Shi to Kimi” begins to play. The base of the entrance becomes fills up with heavy smoke. Nina Stokes makes her way out from the back a few seconds later. She emerges from the smoke after a moment or two. She gives a sly sneer to camera before she makes her way towards to the ring. Melanie Sierra: Her opponent, from Miami, Florida! Weighing in at 140 pounds… NINA STOKES! Her pace down to the ring deliberate and leisurely. She tosses a couple of glances towards the crowd, but for the most part, she keeps her eyes fixated on the square circle. Nina flexes her arms a bit as she reaches the end entryway. She cracks her neck and completely circles the ring one time. Afterwards, Nina cracks her knuckles and slides into the ring. Nina paces around for a moment. Then she removes her jacket and tosses it into the corner. Nina pulls on the ropes and stretches before she lounges in the corner and waits for the start of the match. Geoff Penzer: Nina Stokes has been flawless since coming to FGA. She comes into tonight’s match after beating her former friend Ashley Marie Chase with an unblemished record. If there’s one grappler on this roster that is more than capable of trading strikes with Jimmy Page, it’s Nina Stokes! However, she’s got to contend with arguably the wildest of the Ayano clan in Night Train Ayano! Ayano is immediately knocked down by a hard lariat from Stokes. Geoff Penzer: Nina Stokes is having none of Night Train’s games here tonight! It’s all business! The boos continue as Stokes pulls Ayano up by the hair before sending her into the ropes. When Ayano returns, Stokes brings her down with a running leg lariat! She makes the cover. ONE! . . Ayano kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Stokes with the early nearfall. The thud from each strike can be heard throughout the venue! She then takes Ayano before sending her into the far corner with an irish whip. Stokes charges across the ring, throws herself towards the corner as she goes for the running corner double knees. The crowd cheers when Ayano slips out of the way, causing Stokes to crash into the corner! Stokes is then picked up off the mat before getting whipped into the ropes. When she returns, Ayano tackles her down to the mat with a Lou Thesz Press before delivering mounted punches to the face. Ayano picks up Stokes before seng her back into the ropes. When Stokes returns, Ayano knocks her down with a spinning heel kick! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stokes kicks out. Ayano picks up Stokes, moves her into the corner and delivers multiple knife edge chops. She then takes Stokes and whips her into the opposite corner. Ayano comes across the ring to attack when Stokes comes out of the corner and doubles her over with a rolling solebutt. After a rising knee to the chin knocks Ayano back, Stokes hits the ropes, comes back and knocks Ayano down with a running househouse kick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Ayano kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Stokes nearly knocked the wind out of Ayano with that running roundhouse! But she only gets a count of two. Stokes pulls up Ayano, takes control of her back and lifts her up for a German Suplex. On the way up, Ayano blocks with a back elbow to the face. After being lowered back down, Ayano hits Stokes with a second elbow to the face before running into the ropes. When Ayano returns, she drops Stokes down to a knee after a low dropkick to the leg. She then follows up with a running knee lift that knocks Stokes down. She then drops down on all fours and starts barking like a dog before delivering a headbutt. The cheers continue as Ayano barks at Stokes before hitting her with a second headbutt. After the third headbutt, an irritated look is painted on Stokes’ face. Ayano then picks up Stokes and places her in a side headlock. After quickly performing a standing switch, Ayano brings her down with a russian leg sweep. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . Stokes kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Ayano is starting to poke the bear. But I’m not sure if it’s wise on Ayano’s part of provoke The Kodiak. Ayano takes Stokes and goes for an irish whip when Stokes reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Ayano returns, she slides through Stokes legs and quickly follows up with a pumphandle belly to back suplex! The cheers continue as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stokes kicks out. Stokes then throws out a high roundhouse, but Ayano ducks and counters with a leg sweep! While Stokes is picking herself back up, Ayano heads towards the ropes and comes back with a handspring back elbow. But Stokes is able to counter with a bicycle knee to the back! The boos continue as she pulls Ayano back up before slipping on a Cobra Clutch. The boos intensify when Stokes cinches in the hold. Geoff Penzer: Ayano isn’t allowing herself to be bullied and pushed around by Stokes here tonight. Stokes quickly takes control of Ayano’s wrist and pulls her up onto her knees. The crowd boos when Stokes delivers wristlock face kicks. While Ayano is rocked, Stokes turns and heads into the far ropes. When she comes back, she throws out another running roundhouse. This time, Ayano counters by wrapping her arms around Stokes’ leg. Stokes tries to pull her leg free, but it’s to no avail. After Ayano gets back to a vertical base, Ayano swings the leg away from her before taking control of Stokes’ back and going for a belly to back suplex. But Stokes is able to roll over her shoulder and land on her feet before shoving Ayano into the ropes. When Ayano returns, the crowd cheers when she brings Stokes down with a hurricanrana. Ayano then runs over and knocks Stokes off her feet with a flying thrust kick.!Once Stokes gets back to her feet, Ayano charges forward and connects with a front dropkick, sending Stokes flying into the turnbuckles. After Stokes slumps down in the corner, Ayano runs over and squashes her with a running corner crossbody! Ayano returns to her feet and surveys the crowd before turning away from Stokes and giving her a Stink Face! Geoff Penzer: OH MY! That’s going to do nothing but further agitate Stokes! Ayano makes her way towards the center of the ring. After gyrated her hips, she runs towards the corner and hurls herself at Stokes for a Bronco Buster. But Stokes is able to slip out of the way, causing the crowd to boo once Ayano crashes into the turnbuckles! Geoff Penzer: That showboating may have finally caught up with the Cheap Thrill! Stokes pulls Ayano from out of the corner before throwing her down with a Half Nelson Suplex! While Ayano is sprawled out on the mat, Stokes steps out onto the apron before scaling the turnbuckles. Once she reaches the top, she leaps off and goes for a top rope splash. The crowd explodes with cheers when Ayano rolls out of the way, causing Stokes to crash hard on the canvas! Geoff Penzer: Nobody was home! That mistake may end up costing her! While Stokes slowly turns over onto her back, Ayano gets back to her feet before heading into the corner. Once Ayano scales ot the top turnbuckle, she flips off and goes for a moonsault double foot stomp. On the way down, Stokes is able to roll out of the way. After Ayano lands on her feet, she runs over towards Stokes to attack when Stokes lifts her up across her shoulders. The crowd boos when Stokes brings her down with a fireman’s carry gutbuster! She then follows up by running over and delivering a jumping senton. She turns over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Ayano gets her shoulder up. Stokes picks up Ayano, moves her into the corner and unleashes boxing forearm strikes that send Ayano slumping down in the corner. After pulling Ayano back up, Stokes takes control of her back and goes for the Chaos Theory (front turnbuckle smash into a back roll German Suplex). But Ayano counters by wrapping her arm around the top rope. So Stokes lets go to deliver a high roundhouse to the back of the head! Stokes then grabs Ayano from behind once more and goes for the Chaos Theory. The crowd gasps, then cheers when Ayano is able to rotate and land on her feet. As Stokes scrambles back to a vertical base, Ayano runs over and throws out a jumping hip attack… only for Stokes to catch her in mid air and counter with a release German Suplex!!! As Ayano turns over and gets up on a knee, Stokes rushes over and flattens her with Amidst the Shadow of Sorrows III (Boma Ye Knee Strike)!!! The boos continue as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! TIME TO BEAT: Nina Stokes (12:18) ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

[ PREVIOUSLY RECORDED ]
Amanda Johnson is backstage smiling at the camera awaiting her next guest.
Amanda Johnson: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome…
A figure clad in dark purple storms in from stage right crossing in front of Amanda.
Salem: No, I don’t want to be welcomed today, Amanda. All apologies to you, I know you’re just doing your job. Thing is, I don’t deserve to be welcomed. A funny thing that word… “deserve”. It’s a word that little petty people concocted, and much like the word “opinion” it varies from person to person. The thing about it it, opinions can actually be valid; nobody actually deserves anything. We get what we get, and throwing a fit is optional. Life is neither fair nor is it unfair, it just simply...is. See, I’ve been foolish. On this high horse mission of mine to “Make the US Title Great Again” I screwed up royally. I placed too much emphasis on a strap of leather and gold and it cost me. I was so focused on upholding the belt, that my vision got blurred. I got cocky and decided to play head games. Something cute for the audience. And it backfired on me. See, as much as my opponent is an out and out grouchy putz of a man, he’s a fully capable professional wrestler. In the actual meat and potatoes of this profession, the actual title match he caught me up and in the closing moments executed an actual smart gameplan, switching it up and confusing me and laying me out for the three seconds. Costing me.
Amanda Johnson: Of course, you’re talking about the new United States Champion, James Edwards…
Salem held up her hand nodding, nearly grimacing at the mere mention of the name.
Salem: You said it. But more so than that… Flashpoint has a problem, and he is indeed a factor. This show has a James problem… A Jimmy Jam-Up at the top of the ranks here on this show. James Edwards, and Jimmy Page. They are both here to deconstruct what many hold near and dear. They have both taken down the holders of the two top titles on Flashpoint. Edwards couldn’t unseat Chandler Scott, so he turned his eye to me and after some spirited exchanges he took the very wind from my sails. This is not a dream or even more likely a nightmare, it happened. On one night I was snakebit by a disrespectful piece of human filth in James Edwards. And in the aftermath, he showed his true colors… dragging around a belt like it was nothing to him. But that doesn’t diminish the belt, it only diminishes him further. One day we will look and see the flickering shadow of James Edwards blink from existence altogether, and if I’m the one to shed the final light on that? Oh that would be sweet. Because you and I are not done, sweetheart. And my focus is not on the title but on the wretched wearer of it now. I can never erase what has happened so far, but I can right a wrong. I might’ve screwed up the midterm, but in the end I will ace the final. Somewhere, somehow it will come to pass, Edwards. Enjoy your audacity for now, one day you will eat crow with a broken set of chicklet teeth.
Amanda Johnson: With that said, this very show grants whoever wins the Beat the Clock Challenge with a stellar opportunity at Jimmy Page. You did mention him before, care to elaborate?
Salem smiled at the camera.
Salem: Like I said, part of the problem. Even a bigger chunk than Edwards, let’s face it. Again, I have to apologize to the fans here. When Chandler Scott cost Page the World Championship at Final Frontier, I was one of the ones suggesting Page should come over to Flashpoint. Careful what you wish for, you might just get it right? Thing is, it goes back to the word “deserve”, did Chandler Scott deserve what happened to him in the end? To have his means of livelihood taken from him? I don’t know about “deserve”, but it was a thing that happened. Scott devolved from a generally beloved guy around here to a walking dick. I know Scott and Page had years of history… the thing is, if you poke the bear long enough, what do you expect the bear to do? Deep down, people don’t ultimately change… they might push themselves into a new shape for a time but eventually they revert back to their natural form. It’s a law of physics, a law of nature. Jimmy Page’s base nature, is that of the proverbial bear, a true savage in every sense of the word. I heard all these people giving him props… “Awwww, look at him, he’s doing so good now!”. That was garbage, you didn’t really care about him. You were just glad the ticking time bomb was defused. Someone like that, you’re really just delaying the inevitable. The bomb will go off, the tornado will touch down. You can only walk through a WWII battlefield for so long, eventually you’re going to find an old landmine that takes your legs off. Flashpoint is that battlefield now, but we know where that landmine is…. It’s inside Jimmy Page. And history? Well, I have some history with Page. One of my earliest feuds in FGA. After some draws and double count outs… I seem to recall that I beat Jimmy Page in the end. I would love another crack at him. Because poking the bear? That’s kinda what I do too. Hey, I might win this challenge tonight… who knows. Jaelynn Ramsey is quite capable, I’m looking forward to facing her too. But the Witch World Tour starts now… bring them all to me, at some point and at some place there will be a reckoning. Edwards, Page, anybody… everybody. Bring. Your. Ass. Before I bring it to you. Let’s go!
Salem stormed off just as surely as she had entered the interview space, leaving Amanda a bit at a loss.

Our cameras pan to Geoff Penzer at the commentary desk, smiling toward the camera with a straight face, masterfully ignoring the screaming fans, pounding on the barricade behind him.
Geoff Penzer: Ladies and gentlemen, right now, I’d like to take you backstage where Amanda Johnson is live with our World Tag Team Champions, Logan Alexander and Ashlyn De Luca, prepared to conduct an exclusive sit-down interview. And personally, after what went down at 2019: A New Odyssey…? I’m ready for some answers.
Our cameras fade from Geoff to the backstage area. It appears that the Chaotics dressing room has been slightly altered and dimmed to allow for the production team to set up the proper cameras and lighting. Amanda Johnson sits, left leg crossed over her right, tiny stack of index cards in hand, while the FGA World Tag Team Champions sit on the black, leather sofa across from her. De Luca is in a black-and-yellow tank top and black jeans, title resting across her lap, a casual-- smug-- expression on her face as she gazes at Amanda, leaned back on the couch. Logan sits back against the couch cushions, looking quite relaxed. He has a black t-shirt and dark grey pants on, along with his usual ring jacket. His arms are folded across his chest, covering the lettering on his t-shirt that says ‘½ Chaotic’ in red lettering. His half of the tag titles currently hangs over the arm of the couch beside him.
Amanda Johnson: Ashlyn, Logan, first of all, thanks for your time this evening.
Ashlyn De Luca: Ah. Anything for you, d*ckface.
Logan offers a sidelong glance at Ashlyn’s reply. He then focuses back on Amanda.
Logan Alexander: We had the time available. So what’s on your mind?
Amanda Johnson: Logan, I think it’d be appropriate to follow up with you first after how things ended after 2019: A New Odyssey. After learning about how a lot of your Tag Team Championship match went down, we know you were upset-- and I wanted to know where your head was now, weeks removed from the event, with time to reflect on everything that…
Amanda looks toward Ashlyn, who narrows her eyes back at her.
Amanda Johnson: ...everything that went down.
Logan snorts softly.
Logan Alexander: Well, I was pretty upset before I got to see all of our match from A New Odyssey. It’s a bit easier to take it all into context now though. I’m still frustrated about the way that match ended, but it’s not a preoccupation anymore. The match is what it is and while it didn’t end in the fashion I would have preferred, we did turn aside the challenge from Pendragon. They didn’t pick up a victory over us and we are still the FGA World Tag Team champions.
Amanda Johnson: Well, that is quite a change from your reaction just after the match.
Logan Alexander: It is easy to get caught up in the heat of the moment.
Amanda Johnson: Certainly. Now, has that proven to be the same in regards to the actions of your partner during that match?
Ashlyn De Luca: Did I remember to call you a snitch two weeks ago, Amanda? Because I definitely meant to call you a snitch.
Amanda Johnson: ...Logan could’ve watched the event back and clearly seen--
Ashlyn De Luca: This is professional wrestling. No one does that, you freak.
Amanda rolls her eyes back toward Logan.
Amanda Johnson: When I asked you about it at A New Odyssey, you chose not to offer your thoughts on those events. Have you changed your position on that now?
Logan Alexander: I don’t know what to think about Ashlyn’s actions during our match. I don’t know what she was thinking at that time, so I can’t really offer a fair appraisal of what she did. I also don’t feel that it would be appropriate for me to discuss such things in a public setting before I’ll had a chance to do so with Ashlyn in private.
Amanda Johnson: You… haven’t already spoken with Ashlyn about that? It has been a few weeks since the match in question.
Logan Alexander: It’s not exactly something you just rush into. I needed to sort out my own thoughts on the matter first, and that didn’t happen quickly.
Ashlyn De Luca: Tell her how many times you hit ignore when I tried to call you. Mm? Tell her.
Logan rolls his eyes in response. Ashlyn moves a hand in Logan’s direction, raising her brows at Amanda as if it offers proof as to what she’s complaining about.
Ashlyn De Luca: Every time. Isn’t that super mature? Isn’t that amazing team building, Amanda?
Logan fixes Ashlyn with a stare.
Logan Alexander: What team building is required two years after you’ve started teaming with someone? Especially when you’ve spent the last eleven months as champions together, turning aside all comers that have faced you? We’ve already had a couple of moments in that stretch where we could have gone to pieces as a team but didn’t. I wanted some time to assess what had happened a few weeks ago when we faced Pendragon, because the first thing that came to mind was that you suddenly decided to pull a Bisley in the ring with the titles on the line and I really, really didn’t want to think that of you Ashlyn. I always believed that you were better than that and I still want to.
Ashlyn is quiet for a moment, her face cycling through a range of emotions. She tightens her jaw, biting the inside of her cheek for a moment as she looks away.
Ashlyn De Luca: We agreed.
She shrugs her shoulders.
Ashlyn De Luca: We agreed that they didn’t earn the title match. We saw eye to eye there, okay? We both wanted the very best for the Tag Team Titles because we worked hard to make them mean what they mean! These titles are right alongside the International Heavyweight Championship in the main event of pay-per-views because we put them there, by demanding the utmost respect and the best competition in wrestling. We were going to PROTECT the titles from people like Lowri and people like Neal waltzing into title matches based off name value-- based off things they almost did. We agreed. I j… I just…
Ashlyn takes a deep breath.
Ashlyn De Luca: I just thought we were on the same page out there. I made a mistake. And if you would’ve listened to me, I could’ve… very easily explained myself.
She says all this without looking at her partner, but instead looking at her half of the Tag Team Championships.
Logan Alexander: Yes. We did agree on that. We’ve agreed on how a lot of our challengers have been handed championship opportunities against us. There was Smart Style at Final Frontier in 2017. Then the Dogs of War and the Lion Attack Squad at Above and Beyond and Final Frontier last year. Pendragon was no different in that regard. They never proved themselves here on Flashpoint. But every time, once that bell rang, we were always out there working to show that we were better and we did time after time. Nothing ever fazed us out there. That’s even after Smart Style beat us cleanly at Grapple Kingdom last year. If there was ever a time for doubts, that was it. We came back in the rematch and put them in their place. We never needed to go out and take the easier path to victory.
Ashlyn leans forward, opening her mouth, trying to get a word in, but Logan goes on before Ash has the chance.
Logan Alexander: We never wanted to do that, cause we always thought we were better. Even after I fumbled the end of our match with Pendragon, I still felt that we were the better team out there and that we’d still find a way to win and put all the doubts aside. That’s why I wanted that extra five minutes.
Ashlyn folds her arms and sighs a bit, leaning back on the sofa. Logan turns his gaze away from Ashlyn and glances down at his title belt beside him.
Logan Alexander: I think we still want to achieve the same goals out there together. One of the reasons we have been so successful is that we bring such different approaches to our matches. That’s why we’ve been able to take on everyone that has been put in front of us. We both want to win. We want to be the best. That’s why we’ve held these longer than anyone else who has come before us.
He grabs hold of his belt and holds it up as he looks to Amanda and then to Ashlyn.
Logan Alexander: Right now… we have a philosophical difference about how to reach that point.
Amanda Johnson: And how do you think you guys can overcome th--?
Ashlyn De Luca: A “philosophical difference”? Seriously?
She shifts her body on the sofa, turning completely toward Logan, eyes drifting toward his half of the titles… then back up to him.
Ashlyn De Luca: What do you want from me? I got in a mood out there and I-- I apologize okay? I know we were in Vancouver and you had some major home-country big d*ck energy going on and I got in the way of that. I’m sorry. I know you wanted to defend the titles in a certain way and I screwed that up. But we are still the Chaotics. We’re still the greatest tag team in the history of this company and that means there’s nothing we can’t get through.
The comment, at least coming from Ashlyn, earns a deep chorus of boos from the live audience, but she continues.
Ashlyn De Luca: What do you want me to do?
He looks over to Ashlyn.
Logan Alexander: I don’t want you to do anything. I’m not going to start laying down ground rules that I want you to follow. That’s counterproductive. Besides, I have no idea what I’d tell you anyway. I don’t blame you for what happened out there during the match. It’s not what I would have done, but you’re not me.
There is a tense silence that hangs in the air after these words. Ashlyn doesn’t move, still angled to face Logan. Amanda looks between the two, choosing simply to wait rather than ask another question.
Ashlyn De Luca: Yeah.
One word, but its meaning is unclear at best. Another few seconds pass before Ashlyn sighs and pulls her title closer to herself, almost into a hug, hardly even aware of it.
Ashlyn De Luca: Look. I’m sorry. I wasn’t being my absolute best self, alright? I get that. And I know we can’t take back what happened but you know me. You know that I am all about going out there and being the best. I just…
She shakes her head a little.
Ashlyn De Luca: I messed up. And I owe you. And-- I just wanna move past this. I wanna forget that anything like this ever happened.
He lets out a breath.
Logan Alexander: I know. We’ll find a way past this. We’ve always found a way to overcome adversity before. We’ll do what we can to make this keep working for as long as we can.
He looks over to her.
Logan Alexander: But I don’t think either of us is going to forget.
The familiar silence returns to the scene, though this time it earns a small sigh from Ashlyn, who shakes her head, looking down toward her belt. Our camera pans back to Amanda Johnson.
Amanda Johnson: Guys, thanks again for your time.
As we pan to the champions for a final shot, De Luca remains silent, gaze still downcast. Logan turns his gaze away from Ashlyn, looking off camera. Our scene fades to black.

She does a spin before heading to the left apron. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is apart of the Beat The Clock Challenge! Introducing first, from Chicago, Illinois! Weighing in at 140 pounds… ZOLA STAR! She climbs the apron and raises her hands posing again before sliding into the ring through the second rope. Geoff Penzer: We are back for another Beat The Clock Challenge match! Nina Stokes currently has the time to beat of 12:18. Up next it will be Lowri Moss taking on Zola Star. Star was nearly victorious at A New Odyssey until Jaelynn Ramsey stole her win out from under her! But Ramsey won’t be able to steal anything from Star tonight! “New Blood” by Zayde Wolf plays over the PA system, and once the song's intro finishes, through the curtains - and out onto the stage - walks Lowri Moss, who is greeted by a cheer. Lowri takes a moment to scan the crowd, before making her way towards the ring, and as she does so, she slaps the hands of some of the fans that reach out to her. Melanie Sierra: Her opponent, from Llanelli, Wales! Weighing in at 142 pounds… LOWRI MOSS! After arriving at ringside, Lowri climbs the steps up onto the ring apron, and then steps through the ropes, before heading for one of the corners and climbing to the second rope. There are further cheers and more applause for Lowri from the fans, and she soaks in the reaction for several seconds, as she again surveys the crowd. Geoff Penzer: Lowri Moss’ partner Neal Durden had the time to beat earlier tonight until Nina Stokes took over. Can Moss to what her “wrestling mom” did two years ago and win the Beat The Clock Challenge? Moss and Star start things off with a handshake before locking up. After jockeying for position, Star takes control of Moss before bringing her down to the mat with a Judo Throw. Moss is quickly returned to the mat. This time, with a side headlock takeover. The Pendragon member then counters into a headscissors before Star escapes with a kip up. After Moss scrambles back to a vertical base, she gets caught in another side headlock from Star. Before Star can bring her down to the mat, Moss shoves her off into the ropes. When Star returns, she knocks Moss down with a crossbody. ONE! . . Moss kicks out. Star takes Moss and whips her into the corner. Star rushes in to attack when Moss counters with a back elbow to the face. After a European Uppercut knocks Star back, Moss turns away from Star before knocking her down with a Slice of Heaven (springboard enzuigiri)! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Star kicks out. Moss takes Star and whips her into the ropes. When Star returns, Moss throws her down with a japanese arm drag. A second japanese arm drag returns Star to the mat. When Star gets back to her feet, Moss runs over before executing a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. Moss then steps out onto the apron before scaling the turnbuckles. Once she reaches the top, she leaps off for a diving crossbody… only for Star to roll through it! ONE! . . TWO! . . Moss kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Yet another nearfall and Moss nearly lost this match there! Star takes Moss and whips her into the ropes. When she returns, Star brings her down with a hurricanrana! She reaches back and hooks a leg… ONE! . . TWO! . . Moss kicks out. After both grapplers return to their feet, Star throws out Seeing Stars (spinning kick to the face), only for Moss to duck and counter with a Scorpion Kick! She then doubles Star over with a kick to the midsection before bringing her down with a swinging neckbreaker. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Star kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Yet another quick nearfall. Both of these grapplers know that they’re up against the clock. Moss picks up Star and doubles her over with another kick to the midsection. She then places Star in a standing headscissors. Before she can lift Star up for a cradle piledriver, Star counters with a back body drop. She then takes Moss and goes for an irish whip. But Moss is quick to reverse, sending Star into the ropes. When Star returns, she executes a headscissors takedown. She then quickly sits Moss up before applying a Lotus Lock. The crowd cheers as Star gets the hold locked in nice and tight. The ref heads over to Moss and asks her if she wants to give up. After Moss refuses, she bridges back into a pin. ONE! . . TWO! . . Star kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Moss countered the Los Lock and nearly came awya with the one, two, three! After both grapplers return to a vertical base, Moss throws out a roundhouse kick. Star swats the kick away and counters with a superkick. While Moss is rocked, Star turns and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she knocks Moss down with a running big boot before heading into another set of ropes. When Star comes back, she delivers a split leg drop! She then reaches over and hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Moss kicks out. Star takes Moss, moves her into the corner and delivers multiple knife edge chops. After an irish whip sends Moss into the far corner, Star runs across the ring to attack when Moss knocks her back with a boot to the face. Moss then turns away from Star and starts climbing the turnbuckles. Unbeknownst to her, Star is running right back into the corner. Star runs up the turnbuckles right behind Moss and takes control of her back while both are on the top turnbuckle. The crowd explodes with cheers when Star throws Moss down with an avalanche German Suplex! Star crawls over, pushes Moss onto her back and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! The crowd cheers when Moss gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: What a suplex from Star off the top! I’m surprised that didn’t finish off Moss right there! Star picks up Moss, scoops her up and throws her down with a Michinoku Driver! ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! The crowd cheers when Moss gets her shoulder up. Star picks up Moss, leans forward, lifts her up onto her shoulders and then throws her down with an Alabama Slam! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Moss gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Star has been relentless! She sees the opportunity at hand! She can sense that Moss is still reeling from that German off the top! Star steps out onto the apron and starts waving her arms up and down to get the crowd fired up. While the crowd buzzes with anticipation, Star climbs up to the top turnbuckle. Once Moss gets to her feet and turns around, Star leaps off for a high crossbody. The crowd then gasps when Moss jumps up and dropkicks her out of mid air! Geoff Penzer: OOOOOOOH, what a counter by Moss! While Star is curled up on the mat, Moss crawls over towards the ropes before making her way out onto the apron. Moss then begins to scale the turnbuckles. Once Star gets back to her feet and turns around, Moss leaps off… and knocks her down with a diving crossbody block! ONE! . . TWO! . . Star gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Only two! Moss takes Star and whips her into the ropes. When Star comes back, Moss runs over before knocking her off her feet with a spinning heel kick! She then crawls over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Star gets her shoulder up. Moss picks up Star, takes control of her back and goes for a German Suplex. But Star blocks by hitting her with a back elbow to the face. After performing a standing switch, Star turns Moss towards her before bringing her down with the Three Amigos! While Moss is on the mat, Star steps out to the apron before scaling to the top turnbuckle. She then leaps off and goes for a Frog Splash, only for Moss to get her knees up in time! Geoff Penzer: Moss counters again! This time, by getting the knees up! After Star turns over and gets up on a knee, Moss runs over and flattens her with a Shining Wizard! She then pulls up Star, places her in an inverted front facelock and then brings her down with the Nos Da (Rolling Cutter)! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! A video begins to play with a close up of a laced-up wrestling boot. For a moment, it almost seems to be a still image before a pair of hands come down from the top to pull down a kick pad. Moving away and turning up, we see Ashley Sullivan finishing her routine match preparations with her ring gear. Looking up, she pauses for a moment before continuing with her other pad as she speaks.
Ashley Sullivan: A beat the clock challenge. That's what tonight is all about. At the end of it all is me against a former US champion. And a very different Jimmy Page from what I've dealt with before looming over it all. Talk about pressure. Everyone so far, you've gone and made sure there's a damn high bar set to jump over. And to be honest, when I first saw this card and match, I let a really heavy sigh and let it all sink in. I just went through hell in making a statement against Sloan Talbot, making it clear just how much of a threat I can be to anyone on that proverbial FGA ladder. It reminded me of my old hardcore days when I first stepped out from being known for tag teams to being a single star. Out of the frying pan and into the fire, as the saying goes, and there's no rest for the wicked.
Leaning back into the chair that she's sitting, Ashley takes a second to remove the engagement ring on her finger and slips it inside a small pouch in her bag to keep it safe while she competes.
Ashley Sullivan: I've been doing this long enough to know that's just how it is in this business. The hustle never ends. There's no such thing as a coffee break unless you're on the ring crew. Almost six years now, I've gotten used to it by now. I would start to think there was something wrong if there was a point where I got a moment to breathe before diving headfirst back into the den of vipers. I'm actually eager for this because it's a point I get to control my own destiny. All I have to do is go through someone I haven't beaten before and do it in record time compared to everyone else in their own matches. Like I said, that's a lot of pressure to perform.
Standing up, Sullivan moves up close to the camera.
Ashley Sullivan: Savannah, we're both behind the eight ball here in getting what we both want. But they didn't stack the deck high enough. Beating you is going to be a big enough of a challenge but to do it this fast is a whole other matter entirely. So I'm going to come at you guns blazing. I expect you to do the same. I wouldn't expect anything less from a real winner that hopes to go on to challenge our new champion.
With a confident smile, Sullivan walks off camera as it fades to black.
