Recorded Earlier
James Edwards looks pissed, and only one reporter will even try to brave the raging storm that currently is the Burning Heart, Amanda Johnson. She walks up to James as he breaks through the curtains after his heated confrontation with Salem.
Amanda Johnson: Care to comment on what just happened?
James keeps walking. So does Amanda.
Amanda Johnson: You had some rather incendiary remarks out there about not only Salem but also the United States Championship. Care to explain them further?
James grunts. Amanda keeps walking.
Amanda Johnson: You know I'm not going away until you answer at least a question or two, so why don't you get it over with?
James nods his head. He knows, but he still won't speak.
Amanda Johnson: I'm not going to beg, James, but I feel like you're missing a good chance to explain to the world what you meant. Your side of the story is just as crucial as Salem's.
James nods his head again as the pair keep moving deeper into the venue.
James Edwards: She ain't that important to the story. If you want to hear my side of things, I'll tell you, Amanda, but not tonight. It'll take too damn long, and I have a flight to catch. Next week, I'll give you an exclusive, name the time and place.
Amanda is momentarily shocked and quickly regains her composure.
Amanda Johnson: That would be great, I'll get in touch.
James keeps walking, and Amanda lets him leave, not sure whether this turn of events is good fortune or not.

The Frontier Grappling Arts camera focus in on Nina Stokes as she is walking down the hallway with her bag in hand. It appears as if she is headed towards the exit. That is until FGA Correspondent, Amanda Johnson, steps into the frame. Nina slows her pace and comes to a stop a few inches before she reaches Amanda.
Amanda Johnson: Sorry to bother you. It looks like you are getting ready to leave. But I wanted to ask you a few questions, if you’ve got the time.
Others would likely be annoyed. However, there’s a calm, almost peaceful look on the wrestler’s face. Nina flicks her right wrist and glances at her Fitbit Versa. She shrugs her shoulders afterwards.
Nina Stokes: Sure. Why not?
Amanda nods her head before she adjusts her microphone.
Amanda Johnson: You made your long awaited debut earlier in the evening against Nando Fresno: Alien Hunter. How did it feel to be out there in a FGA ring?
Nina thinks for a moment.
Nina Stokes: FGA has been a bastion of talent since its humble beginnings. I’ve watched friends and family compete inside those ropes. It’s invigorating to finally be able to step in there myself.
Amanda nods her head.
Amanda Johnson: You put on a dominant performance out there. Now, you’ve been in the ring wrestlers from all over the world. What did you make of Nando?
Nina stifles a slight laugh.
Nina Stokes: Oh, Nando? He was cool. Kind of reminded me of a living, breathing heavy bag. I was able to really hammer in those shots, you know? And he didn’t immediately drop after my first strike, so he showed some heart out there.
Ms. Johnson gives Nina a quizzical look.
Amanda Johnson: I’m sure I don’t have to tell you this, but it’s safe to say things will only get tougher from here on out. That being said, who on Flashpoint interests you? Who is on your radar, match wise?
There was no hesitation in her voice.
Nina Stokes: Ashley Marie Chase.
She followed up before Amanda could reply.
Nina Stokes: In fact, consider it an official challenge.
Amanda nods her head.
Amanda Johnson: Well there you have it. Hopefully we’ll get a response soon.
Ms. Johnson lets out a sigh.
Amanda Johnson: Before I let you go, there’s just one more thing that I’d like to as you. You’ve been a fan favorite of the majority of your career. However, I heard a lot of people booing you out there. Did their adverse reaction affect you much?
That question causes Nina to think. She rubs her chin a little bit. And after she has composed her thoughts, she snaps her fingers.
Nina Stokes: Let me ask you something, Amanda.
Amanda nods her head in response.
Nina Stokes: Did I poke Nando in the eyes?
She gives Nina a very confused look. However, she answers the question after a moment.
Amanda Johnson: No. Nina rubs her forehead.
Nina Stokes: Did I kick him in the nuts?
Amanda Johnson: Well, no…
Nina ponders.
Nina Stokes: Oh? Did I pull the ropes, or his tights, or anything dishonest like that?
Amanda Johnson: No.
A chuckle escapes Nina’s lips.
Nina Stokes: So, if I haven’t broken the rules, why should I let anyone’s opinion phase me? Hmm? Besides, we’ve all got freedom of choice and speech in this country, for now anyway. Let them do as they please. I’m certainly going to do as I please.
Nina looks down at her Fitbit once more.
Nina Stokes: Well, it is about that time. Let’s do this again soon, yeah?
She pats Amanda on the shoulder before she resumes walking. The camera lingers on her a little while before it fades out.
