ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
ENTRANCE MUSIC:
"Wake Up" by Rage Against The Machine
RING ATTIRE:
Neal will usually wear shorts, or tights in various colors. He’ll combine that with knee and shin pads that will match the colors in his tights and black boots. On his wrist he’ll add black or white wrist tape, depending on the rest of the color scheme.
RING ENTRANCE:
The initial riffs of “Wake Up” by Rage Against the Machine start playing over the sound system; as lights start to flicker in the arena. At the first “Come On!”; Neal Durden steps out of the curtain, standing in the middle of the stage, giving his back to the public his jacket tight against his torso; as the music continues. With the second “Come On”, Neal turns around with a smile on his face as the song continues and he begins walking down the ramp. As the line “Fist in the air in the land of hypocrisy” goes off, Neal gets his right fist up as he stops and looks around, before continuing his trot towards the ring. The song continues as Neal rolls under the rope and enters the ring, as the line “the feds” hits the sound system, he kneels in the middle of the ring looking down, running his fingers on the surface of the mat. Suddenly Neal stops and looks up extending his left arm as if he was holding some kind of rifle and as the word "shot" is shouted in the song, he makes the motion of shooting and springs to his feet waiting for the bell.
CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRANCE:
NOTE: Please keep in mind that we don't do pyrotechnics.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
PERSONALITY:
Neal is generally a happy go lucky kind of guy. By his own admission he’s not the brightest mind around; in fact he’s really slow to pick up on things and if you want him to pick on something you have to be as clear as day with him… he’s not dumb, he’s just unaware of a lot of things; and maybe that’s a good thing. He’s a bit rebellious and carefree, always being one to try new things even if they might hurt him in the end (ie. Deathmatches). He tries to mix everything he has learned over the years into his wrestling persona, mostly that rebellious and carefree attitude that makes him put his body on the line for the sake of giving himself (or his team) an opening for victory; but ultimately, he’s there to put up a good showing for the fans.
STRENGTHS:
Resiliency: as a rebel, Neal will never quit. You’ll have to take the fight out of him in order to take him out.
Tag-Team Specialist: Through his career he has been paired with a plethora of wrestlers, from his girlfriend Lowri Moss, to well established names such as Cosmo Cooper. With every single one of them he has find success; even in one off situations.
Pain Tolerance: Given his resiliency and his time in Slaughterhouse, a deathmatch centric promotion, he has developed quite the resistance to pain. This means, he can go even when hurting.
WEAKNESSES:
Asthmatic: Ever since he was a small child, Neal has fought with Asthma. He has control over it, but every now and then, when the matches get heated and he has been going for a long time, it might show and he might get tired quickly.
Overconfidence: Given his success in tag-team centric matches, Neal has developed a level of confidence in those sorts of matches that might get the best of him, if he’s not well prepared for the opposition.
He’s “slow” to pick up things: Given the fact that he describes himself as “dumb as a bag of hammers”, Neal often gets the worst end of the stick in situations. He generally thinks everyone is good and will be taken advantage off in certain situations.

BACKGROUND:
Gareth Prichard Jr., better known by his ring name: Neal Durden, was born in Cardiff, Wales on June 16, 1998; to a medium to high class family. His father, Gareth Sr, is a high ranking executive for Hodge Bank. Thus, from a very early age, Neal was spoiled with all sorts of things. Whatever he wanted to do, his parents provided.
When he was about 10 years old he discovered wrestling and started watching it religiously through his teen years. As he developed, so did a rebellious instinct within him. Fueled by the music he grew hearing. His father’s Punk Rock discs served as inspiration for a lot of Neal’s ideals as a teenager.
At one point, when he was between 15 and 16 he told his parents he wanted to be a wrestler. Initially his parents didn’t think much of this and provided him with the means to train to become a wrestler. Thinking it might just be one of his passing “devotions”, such as skateboarding and writing were earlier. When he showed signs of wanting to be a wrestler full time, that’s when the riff between himself and his parents became obvious.
Knowing his academic potential, his parents wanted him to become a banker or something else; not a wrestler. He wanted to be a wrestler, and that’s when he decided to leave home and start living out his dream… the rest, as they say… is history.
