And now, Frontier Grappling Arts presents… The scene shifts to an outside shot of Times Union Center in Albany, New York! We then transition inside the arena, where blue and white fireworks shoot off in various patterns. We then head to a wide shot of the arena. The camera pans around, capturing the rabid crowd. Kris Cruise: Welcome, everyone, to Night Two of Final Frontier! I am Kris Cruise! Joining me as always is my colleague, Stephy Auger.!Also with us here tonight is Flashpoint’s very own Geoff Penzer! Last night, we witnessed Evan Envi win the 2018 Frontier Lions Cup! The Chief won the tournament back-to-back. But it wasn’t without controversy, Geoff! Geoff Penzer: No it wasn’t. It’s arguable that Envi should have never even made it past the quarterfinals against the Apex Goddess, Fujiko Mine! Stephy Auger: Oh please, don’t even start with this. Kris Cruise: Don’t start with what? Fujiko had him locked in her Ecstasy submission. We’ve seen multiple combatants fall to that submission. I can’t think of one person that has survived that hold. If it weren't for Ricky Valero and his interference, I believe we’re having a totally different conversation here tonight as far as who walked out the 2018 Frontier Lions Cup winner. I’m sure you would agree with that, Geoff. Geoff Penzer: Absolutely Stephy Auger: You say no one has survived it. But I can think of one person that can and he is your two-time Frontier Lions Cup winner! Kris Cruise: You’re never going to find fault in anything that Envi does, will you? Stephy Auger: Of course not! What took you so long to figure this out? Geoff Penzer: Unreal. I don’t know who you put up with this, Kris. Stephy Auger: He puts up with it because he knows I’m right. Geoff Penzer: ... Kris Cruise: Evan Envi, by hook or by crook… Geoff Penzer: ...by crookKris Cruise: ... won last night’s Frontier Lions Cup. Of course he’ll have his eyes set on tonight's co-main event where Vertigo’s Jimmy Page will defend his FGA World Championship against Kol. That match is just one of several championship matches here this evening. You guys over on Flashpoint have your own premier championship match to look forward to. Geoff Penzer: Yes we do. James Edwards got this International Heavyweight Championship match against Chandler Scott due to outside interference that cost Salem tonight’s opportunity. Kris Cruise: That was outside interference Edwards didn’t ask for or was even aware of. Notice the difference, Stephy? Stephy Auger: ... Geoff Penzer: However, the Burning Heart proved that he belonged in this match tonight when he knocked out Chandler with the Violent Gospel at Winter Frontier! It was the kick heard around the world and it may very well serve as a prelude of what’s to come here tonight. In addition to that, the World Tag Team Titles will be on the line when The Chaotics defend their titles one more time against the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad! Things between these two teams have gotten ugly in recent months. It’s now brought us to this point. If the Polychromatics win, they are the new World Tag Team Champions. Should they lose? Then Hadley Herrera, the Flashpoint GM, is out of a job. Stephy Auger: She should have been out of a job! Hadley’s had a conflict of interest since taking the job. She did a decent job of masking it before. But now she isn’t even trying to hide it. She pitted Logan Alexander and Ashlyn De Luca against each other in the qualifiers. Even you can’t argue that! Geoff Penzer: … it was an interesting tournament draw, I’ll say that much. Stephy Auger: You don’t have to lie to me, Penzer. We all know Hadley has been putting the screws to The Chaotics. But tonight, they get their long awaited payback and will send her packing! Kris Cruise: We talked about Envi having his sights set on the World Championship match against Page and Kol. The team of Fujiko Mine and Izzy Anders will have their sights set on that Tag Title Match. The 2018 Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament winners have yet to decide which sets of titles they will be going after. Geoff Penzer: The dynamic tandem of the Apex Goddess and The Mindkiller have been weighing their options. They could go after the winners of tonight's World Tag Team Title Match. Or they might opt to go up against the new United States Tag Champions, Silk & Cyanide. Kris Cruise: Well before Anders gets to that, she’s got Seth Iser here tonight in a Pride Championship match! Geoff Penzer: Izzy and Fujiko had a hell of a battle at the Seven Year Anniversary Show. It was a match of the year candidate and was one of the finest matches I’ve had the pleasure of seeing. The Mindkiller was able to best her partner once again at an Anniversary Show. But there’s no rest for Izzy as she’s been thrown right into the fire against Iser. We’ve got The Mindkiller versus a man that many claim possesses wrestling’s greatest mind. I cannot wait for that one to go down. Stephy Auger: Speaking of championship matches on Vertigo, our reigning Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion, Marlon Cure, defends his title against Selfish San Francisco! Kris Cruise: That’s Sadie San Francisco, Stephy. The Pope proved herself to be one of the great Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champions, not to mention champions period, in FGA history with her reign back in 2017 into 2018. Now we have the self-proclaimed “King”, who is trying to create his own legacy with that very same championship. Will we see the King dethroned here tonight? Geoff Penzer: In another championship match, Sloan Talbot will defend his FGA 15 Championship against former champion, Kendall Kingham. Since arriving during the spring, Talbot has been wrecking everything in his path. While I don’t like the way his championship match came about, you can’t argue with the results. Tonight, Kingham has a chance to head back to the Flashpoint Zone as the new 15 Champion. But boy does she have her work cut out for her. Stephy Auger: Then there’s the main event! Malcolm Drake. Chris Bond. Chivalry is Dead! Kris Cruise: A Dog Collar Match couldn’t end it. Neither could a 30-Minute Iron Man Match. Only one match could end this heated rivalry: Chivalry is Dead. There are no rules. No countouts. No disqualifications. Anything goes. There is no turning back after this, especially with the added stipulation. Stephy Auger: That is right. Both careers are on the line, Cruise. One of these men can live to see another day here in FGA. For the loser? Their career is over. This isn’t Loser Leaves Town where the loser simply has to leave the company. No, their career is over. This is it! Geoff Penzer: The stakes don’t get any higher than that. Kris Cruise: Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for watching us here tonight. We’ve got a tonight of action here at Night Two of Final Frontier. But right now, let’s send you to the following video...

The screen cuts to black. For seconds, there’s silence, until the sound of a familiar voice:
Sadie San Francisco: I came into FGA a part of… someone else’s vision and… the whole “Camp Envi” thing got carried away pretty quickly once certain parties got involved. I did what I had to do to get out of it-- to make my own name, for the very first time in this business. And in the process I became the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion. Ha. Whattt luck.
Sadie exhales. As the scene fades in, we see that Sadie is standing alone at the top of the ramp, watching the crew assemble the ring in the brightly-lit Madison Square Garden, clearly filmed hours earlier in the day. Far beyond earshot are other talent and arena staff, conversing among themselves in the seats before we fade back to Sadie, who gazes ahead at the ring.
Sadie San Francisco: So… that’s where this started.
Another scene from the past flashes across the screen, accompanied by the aggressive strum of a guitar in the background.
The words of Cruise echo as the screen goes dark again before fading back to Sadie, still standing at the top of the ramp, talking to the person operating the caera.
Sadie San Francisco: And, like… I immediately learned what kind of person I would have to be to hold onto that title.
We fade back to Sadie, who turns toward the camera operator with a shrug.
Sadie San Francisco: Every opponent I’ve had has been relentless. And-- you have to be. I’ve seen what that title does to people.
Sadie rubs the back of her neck a bit, clearly uneasy at the memory as Cruise’s words echo throughout the scene. We flash forward a bit in time, where Sadie sits in one of the seats in Madison Square Garden, eyes closed, leaning back in the chair before the scene continues.
Sadie San Francisco: I think the thing that gutted me the most about losing the title is… it wasn’t even about me in the end. I had come so close to matching a record that most other champions never came close to touching. And it was gone in an instant and the story was about how close Lowri was. About how heartbreaking that triple threat loss was for Lowri. It stung. And I love Lowri-- I think she’s an amazing wrestler, but that dug at me. And for ten months… for ten months, it’s been killing me.
She leans forward in the seat, looking ahead at the empty ring, sighing a little.
Sadie San Francisco: The last time I defended that title successfully was at Final Frontier, a year ago, and tonight… I plan on winning it back.
She looks toward the person operating the camera, smiling faintly.
Sadie San Francisco: Whatever it takes.
Cure and Gonsalves have words post match as Cure advances in the Rey Del Aire tournament, gaining his first victory under the FGA Banner. As the scene begins to fade, the voice of the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion begins to speak.
Marlon Cure: I’ve been in the game for going on 10, 11 years now… since I was about 19 years old. In that time? I’ve seen a lot of talent that called having next, and those same people came and went while I endured. I’ve had peers fold and bow out with nothing, while I came in with less and managed to make a name while standing on my own two.
The scene changes from the highlights of the Rey Del Aire tournament to show Marlon Cure seated in a Lounge Suite at The Garden, hands folded in front of his face and the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship in his lap as he stares down at the arena below. His gaze is intense and focused as he peers down at the ring, knowing that in just a few hours, he’ll be doing battle in New York City once again.
Marlon Cure: Every now and then when I got the chance to actually think and look back on it, everything I’ve done to come this far and everything I achieved along the way, the question “what keeps you going?” pops up in my mind. After all the years of turning leather and hard gold into cold green, after all the miles, what is there to keep me grounded and hungry? The answer is simple:
Success.
The word echoes for a moment as we see highlights of Cure’s tenure in FGA so far, with the soft, ominous sounding piano intro to his entrance music playing in the background.
Marlon Cure: When I first hit the scene here in FGA? I made it known from jump who I am, and what I want to do. I wanted to set the tone and raise the bar for everybody that’s across from me.
I wanna know I’m getting the money’s worth on my contract to step in the ring with somebody.
I wanna know that I’m getting their best, so I can be better than. So I can continue to do what I do best: stack dollars and win titles...
Cure’s voice fades out briefly as the scene shifts and the video to the closing moments of the Marlon Cure vs. Lowri Moss match from Vertigo e57, showing a great back and forth between the then-champion and challenger in their quest to leave with championship gold in their second encounter with one another.
The camera cuts back show Cure now seated in his locker room, taping up his wrists as he looks to prepare for war.
Marlon Cure: When you win a ‘chip, you become a trophy to everybody else in line after you. In the back of their minds, you’re a come up. Somebody they’re plotting on because now you got that shine. Most become shook at the idea of making themselves a marked man or woman, at painting that target on their back.
Sadie San Francisco: I’ve seen what he’s willing to do. But I swear I’m willing to do more.
Marlon Cure: I know how far I have to go, what I’ll have to do - But I know shit’s not sweet when you’re on top. One time you get caught lacking, and that’s your reign.
Marlon Cure: But that’s them…
Marlon Cure:... it won’t be me.
We cut to a shot of the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship gripped firmly in the hands of “King” Cure… while fading into the scene of Sadie San Francisco, staring intently at the ring, empty hands clasped together. As the camera switches to a split-screen, showing the image of both Grapplers, we slowly fade to black.

FGA MID-ATLANTIC LEGACY CHAMPIONSHIP © Marlon Cure vs. Sadie San Francisco The lights in the arena fade to a rose color as the familiar sound of smooth jazz echoes throughout the building. “Young Nation” hits the PA system and a roar surges through the audience. Sadie San Francisco steps out onto the stage, a brow raised, and a small smirk on her face, expression hidden behind tinted aviators. She walks down the ramp. J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall and it is for the FGA MID-ATLANTIC LEGACY CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, the challenger! From The West Side! Weighing in at 128 pounds! She is “The Pope” SADIE SAANNNNNN FRAAAANNNNNCISSSSSSCOOOOOOO!!! Sadie places a hand on the bottom rope before turning, looking over her shoulder toward the audience. With one finger, she lowers her sunglasses for just a moment to wink out at the audience before pushing them back into place and swiftly pulling herself into the ring beneath the bottom rope and right back up to her feet. Sadie calmly removes her sunglasses, handing them off to the referee, and slowly paces the ring a bit as she readies herself. Kris Cruise: Sadie San Francisco had the chance to come into tonight’s match as the 2018 Frontier Lions Cup winner. But she was unfortunately eliminated in the quarterfinals by Dom Harter. Stephy Auger: Unfortunately??? Kris Cruise: Will Sadie be able to ease the disappointment of last night’s loss with a championship here tonight? Or will she leave this weekend empty handed. Stephy Auger: Boy do I hope it’s the latter. As Sadie's theme slowly begins to fade, the crowd's cheers for The Challenger quickly turn to loud, thundering boos as they prepare for the arrival of the reigning and defending champion. Instead of the normal static cut intro into "Public Service Announcement" playing over the PA System, the sounds of drums begin to fill the air. The arena is bathed in a gold light and the booing grows even louder, though The Champion has yet to walk through the curtains and the PA remains eerily silent. A few seconds later, the silence is broken and the loud clash of a gong is heard as several large, formidable looking men walk out onto the stage, each one dressed in a black tux with gold trim. One by one, they begin to line the ramp and aisle way on each side and folded their arms behind their backs. The clashing of the gong and the drums grew louder as six more came from the back, carrying a black and gold Sedia Gestatoria like throne on their shoulders. Kris Cruise: What in the…? The throne like chair was curtained off, but that didn’t stop the New York crowd from booing heavily, knowing who would be seated right behind it. Marching all as one, the six drop down to a knee and place the Gestatoria at the center of the stage as the drums and gongs stop. The two near the front each reach a hand up to the dark curtains of The Gestatoria and pulled them back... ...and the reaction is LOUD as The Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion, Marlon Cure, finally comes into view, smirking wildly with his legs crossed, hands folded into a pyramid and the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Title in plain view. R.O.C., we runnin' this rap shit
Memphis Bleek, we runnin' this rap shit
Freeway, we run this rap shit...!
The intro to Jay-Z's "Takeover" begins to play, the words "I RUN NEW YORK" appear on the screen on the stage in bold, gold letters and the boos from the sold out Madison Square Garden crowd becomes almost deafening as Cure descends from his throne. "King Cure's" arrogance has been fully turned up to a hundred as the beat picks up, the piano kicks in and a single spotlight shines down on him as he eyes the ring. J.A. Aldridge: Introducing her opponent, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Weighing in at 195 pounds! He is the reigning… defending… FGA Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion… MARRRRRLONNNNN CUUUUUUURE!!! Cure makes his way down the ramp, but stops halfway down with a smirk on his features. He slowly unhooks the FGA Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship from around his waist and looks around the arena, before raising both hands to his side as the camera pans around Cure and dollar bills begin to fall from the ceiling. Stephy Auger: Get your hands up and start grabbing, Cruise! Kris Cruise: Oh stop it! The camera settles back into place as Cure slings the title over his shoulder and moves down to ringside, moving up the steel steps with purpose. He climbs up to the top rope, holding the MAL Championship high above his head and the crowd lets him have it with a very loud, heated response. "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Cure hopes down and shrugs the sleeveless long coat off of his shoulders and places the black and gold crown around a nearby ring post as he leans back in the corner, allowing the official to take his title and hold it up, displaying it to each side of the audience before handing it to the timekeeper. Kris Cruise: Marlon Cure with a grand entrance here at Final Frontier, ladies and gentlemen. Stephy Auger: That was an entrance fit for a king! Kris Cruise: I hope he put as much time into preparing for Sadie San Francisco as he did coming up with this elaborate entrance. The bell sounds as Cure and Sadie circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Sadie gains the advantage with a side headlock. She begins wrenching the hold. The ref asks Cure if he wants to give up. But he refuses. He tries to shove Sadie off of him. But The Pope keeps the hold locked on tight. Cure then moves Sadie into the near ropes before trying to shove her off into the far ropes. But this gets stuffed when Sadie drops down to a knee while keeping the hold applied. The ref kneels down next to King Cure and asks him if he wants to give up. Cure waves him off. Cure slowly gets back to a vertical base. He then takes Sadie and goes for a belly to back suplex. Sadie ends up rolling over his shoulder, landing on her feet, turning him towards her and executing a side headlock takeover. Cure is quick to reverse into a headscissors. The Pope quickly escapes this with a kip up. Once Cure gets back to a vertical base, Sadie returns him to the mat with another side headlock takeover. Cure immediately reverses into another headscissors. The Pope then escapes this with another kip up. After Cure gets back to his feet, Sadie takes the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion and whips him into the ropes. When Cure returns, she throws out a hip toss. Cure is able to land on his feet before following up with a wristlock takeover. Once Sadie gets back to her feet, King Cure charges in for an attack. The Pope goes for another hip toss. This time, Cure ricochets off the ropes and counters with a springboard arm drag. As The Pope gets back to her feet, Cure rushes over and connects with a running shoulder block, knocking Sadie backwards into the ropes. Once Sadie bounces off the ropes, Cure throws her down with a japanese arm drag. The Pope gets returned to the mat with a hip toss. When Sadie gets back up, Cure brings her do with a side headlock takeover over his own. The Pope then transitions into a headscissors. Cure goes to escape with a kip up of his own, but Sadie keeps her legs wrapped tightly around his neck. After a few seconds, Cure goes for another kip up escape. But again, it’s to no avail. The Champion then slowly turns over onto his knees. After putting his palms down on the mat, Cure executes a handstand. He then pushes himself off the mat to escape the once. When Cure lands on his feet, he immediately follows up with a dropkick to the face! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Sadie kicks out. Cure picks up Sadie and wrenches her arm. The ref asks the challenger if she wants to give up. Sadie refuses. Cure then delivers another arm wrench. The Pope then quickly reaches over, takes control of the wrist and reverses into an arm wrench of her own. The cheers continues when Sadie delivers another arm wrench. Then another. And another. The ref asks Cure if he wants to give up. When the champ refuses, Sadie yanks the arm before wrenching it once more. Cure then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of his own. Sadie reaches over, takes control of the wrench and reverses into another arm wrench of her own. Cure then rolls forward, turns over onto his knees, flips over with a handstand, spins in place, yanks The Pope over towards him and throws her down with a japanese arm drag. When Sadie gets back, Cure takes her by the wrist and whips her into the ropes. When Sadie returns, Cure leapfrogs over her. The Pope continues to run the ropes. When she returns, Cure (without turning around) leapfrogs over her again. Sadie continues to run the ropes. When she comes back, Cure throws her down with a hip toss. He turns away from Sadie and goes for a standing moonsault. Sadie rolls out of the way. But Cure is able to land on his feet before quickly flipping back and hitting a standing moonsault on his second attempt! He hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Sadie gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Quick recovery there by Cure for the two count! Cure picks up Sadie and doubles her over with a spinning back kick. He then turns and runs into the ropes. When King Cure returns, the crowd boos when he flips over Sadie and brings her down with the Throwback. Cure returns to his feet before heading into the ropes. When he comes back, he connects with a standing corkscrew Shooting Star Press across Sadie’s back! He pulls her over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Sadie gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Cure’s athleticism has been on display thus far. But all it takes is one hard strike from The Pope to put a stop to all of this. Cure picks up Sadie and whips her into the corner. He runs across the ring to follow up with an attack when Sadie knocks him back with a back elbow to the face. Cure runs back into the corner. This time, Sadie counters with a boot to the face. After shaking off the blow, Cure charges back in. Sadie ducks the oncoming attack and dumps him over the top rope. Cure throws out a right hand. But Sadie ducks and counters with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. She then grabs Cure, turns and slams him face-first into the ring post. The crowd cheers as Cure bounces off the post and falls to the floor. Stephy Auger: AH! Kris Cruise: Marlon Cure kisses the ring post before falling to the floor! The Pope steps out onto the apron and zeroes in on the champion. As Cure gets back to his feet and turns around, the crowd cheers as Sadie runs along the apron, leaps off and knocks him down with a diving knee! Kris Cruise: Sadie catches Cure right in the face with a flying knee! Stephy Auger: His poor, beautiful face! Sadie picks up Cure and rolls him back inside. She then rolls back in, drags Cure away from the ropes and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Cure kicks out. Sadie picks up Cure and goes for an irish whip. Cure quickly reverses and sends her into the ropes. When she returns, she sees Cure set up for a back body drop. So Sadie stops and kicks him square in the face! Stephy Auger: What is her deal? She’s intentionally trying to ruin his movie star good looks! Sadie turns and runs back into the ropes. When she comes back, she sees Cure running past her into the ropes. So she stops. As soon as Cure bounces off the ropes, the crowd cheers when Sadie catches him with a running high knee, knocking the champion through the ropes and back to the floor. Cure can be seen clutching his face. Stephy Auger: She did it again! Ooo, I can’t stand her! Kris Cruise: Marlon Cure should be less concerned about his face and more concerned with making sure Sadie doesn’t leave this match as champion. If she keeps this up, she’ll be well on her way! Sadie marches across the ring and bounces against the ropes. When Cure gets back to his feet, Sadie runs across the ring, jumps through the ropes and knocks Sadie back with a suicide dive. The Pope rolls back inside before running into the far ropes. When she comes back, she leaps through the ropes and knocks Cure against the guardrail with a second suicide dive! The crowd chants “ONE MORE TIME!” The Pope obliges as she rolls back into the ring before heading into the far ropes. When she returns, the crowd explodes with cheers when she leaps through the ropes and knocks Cure down with a third suicide dive!! Sadie picks Cure back up and rolls him back inside. She then rolls back in and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Cure kicks out. Kris Cruise: The Pope knocks Cure down with a trio of dives to the outside! But it only gets a count of two. Sadie picks up Cure, places him in a front facelock and delivers sharp elbows to the back of the neck. She then places the champion in a headlock before spiking him on the mat with a headlock driver! The cheers continue as Sadie makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Cure gets his shoulder up. Sadie picks up Cure and whips him into the corner. The Pope runs in to attack when Cure counters with a back elbow to the face. While Sadie stumbles back, Cure turns and goes to climb the turnbuckles. As soon as Cure reaches the top, Sadie runs over into the ropes. The crowd cheers when Cure slips down and ends up crotched on the top turnbuckle! Sadie heads into the corner, grabs Cure and pulls him down into a Tree of Woe. The Pope delivers several kicks to the midsection before following up with repeated stomps to the jaw! After pulling Cure down from out of the corner, Sadie delivers a shoulder jawbreaker. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Cure gets his shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Cure was able to get the better of Sadie in the opening moments of this match. But the challenger taken control of this contest. Sadie picks up Cure and applies a waist lock from behind. Cure hits Sadie with multiple elbows to the face before performing a standing switch. He then grabs Sadie from behind before bringing her down with a ripcord Slingblade! King Cure heads over and slingshots himself out onto the apron. Once Sadie gets back to her feet, the crowd boos when Cure knocks her back with down with a springboard diving side kick. The challenger tries to return to her feet. But as soon as she turns over onto a knee, Cure flattens her with a Shining Wizard! After dragging Sadie into position, Cure steps out onto the apron and goes for No Ceilings v2 (springboard corkscrew senton bomb). The crowd gasps when Cure flips off the top. The gasps then quickly turn to cheers when Cure crashes down across Sadie’s knees. Kris Cruise: Sadie countered! She got her knees up in time1 Stephy Auger: No, no, no! Both champion and challenger slowly return to their feet. Cure throws out a savate kick. Sadie swats it down, counters with left forearm strikes out the face and follows up with a throat punch. While Cure is doubled over, the crowd cheers when Sadie leaps up and brings him down with a Fameasser! She pushes the champion over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Cure gets his shoulder up. Sadie picks up Cure and whips him into the corner. She then runs across the ring and bashes him with a running left forearm strike. The Pope then takes the champion, delivers an irish whip, follows him back across the ring and bashes him with a discus left forearm smash! She then pulls Cure from out of the corner before sending him into the far ropes. When Cure returns, Sadie knocks him off his feet with Palo Alto (running corkscrew roundhouse knee strike) to an explosion of cheers! Sadie slowly pulls up Cure, hooks his arms from behind and turns him around. Before she can deliver Vanity (Unprettier), Cure slips out and shoves Sadie into the ropes. When Sadie returns, she sees Cure running past her. So she stops. When Cure comes back, he sees Sadie running past him into the ropes. So he slams on the brakes. When Cure turns around, he catches Sadie off the rebound and throws her down with a running Spanish Fly! The boos continue as Cure pulls up Sadie, scoops her up and throws her down with the Run N Gun (Michinoku Driver II)! After returning to his feet, Cure reaches down, grabs Sadie by both wrists, pulls her up and clocks her with the Coming of Age (double wrist-lock knee strike strike to kneeling opponent)!! While Sadie is dazed, Cure pulls her up, lifts her up onto his shoulders and delivers The Blackout!!! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd boos as “Public Service Announcement” blares throughout the arena. J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this bout… aaaaand STIIIILLLLLL the FGA Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion, MARLON CURE!

Backstage, and one half of The Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad is sitting alone in their locker room. Peaches is ready dressed in her ring attire; the jean shorts and brown cowboy style boots, the flannel shirt and sports bra, with the PCLAS trucker cap on too. But she’s also wearing a look of apprehension. A nervous energy surrounding her as she rests her elbows on her knees, shoulders hunched, head peering forward as she begins to talk.
Peaches: I ain’t gonna lie to you, Ashlyn. I listened to every word you had to say last week. When you said you thought Hadley sucked at her job. When you said you thought Dan was complacent. When you said you almost respected me, ‘fore tellin’ me you was gonna strangle a bitch…
Peaches shakes her head, closing her eyes for a moment as she does so.
Peaches: An’ I ain’t gonna lie to you, Ashlyn. It felt damn good makin’ you eat those words in that main event match. Walkin’ outta Winter Frontier with a win over you – even if it was an eight man tag match. Even if I ain’t the one to get the pin. Or whatever other excuse you might wanna throw my way.
She pauses again.
Peaches: But I did have a damn good squad with me that night. And tonight? I’ve got the best damn squad I could ever ask for tonight.
Peaches looks upwards, staring into the camera as she cranks her neck from side to side.
Peaches: Me an’ Dan have been gettin’ ready for this night for a long damn time. Ever since y’all won those belts. Ever since you attacked us at Above & Beyond. Ever since we beat your asses down at Flashpoint a few weeks ago. We been ready to take those belts from you for a long damn time, Ashlyn…
Another pause as Peaches sighs.
Peaches: But this ain’t just ‘bout them titles no more, is it? ’Cause now we’ve got another stipulation involved. An’ you’re tryna get Hadley fired. Well lemme tell you one thing, Chaotics: that ain’t gonna happen. Y’all wanna take action to try and make changes, but ain’t want no reactions? Tough luck. Y’all wanna bitch an’ moan ‘bout the luck of the draw with the Frontier Lions Cup? We ain’t got time for that. But y’all wanna pin all your problems on Hadley? Y’all ain’t wanna thank her for doing what’s best for Flashpoint, for leadin’ us to victory over Vertigo back in the Summer, for makin’ us the best brand in FGA…well right there, we’ve got us a problem.
Peaches takes in a deep breath, trying to compose herself before she continues talking.
Peaches: An’ me an’ Dan, we’re not gonna let you run our family outta here. We ain’t gonna let y’all run ‘round with those belts any longer either. Y’all wanna go one more time? Try an’ make this winner take all? Bring it on, Chaotics. ‘Cause we put you down once before, an’ we can damn sure do it again.
With that, Peaches pushes herself up off the bench and walk past the camera as the scene comes to an end.

A fired up Kendall Kingham burst into the camera shot, absolutely bubbling over with excitement. She had a bounce in her step, unable to channel all the nervous energy running through her body. The former Fifteen Champion was already in her entrance gear, including shutter shades and a ring jacket with a light up Empire State Building on the back. Flipping her shades up, she begins to speak.
Kendall Kingham: What's up guys!? So excited to be back home!
She finally takes a moment to take a deep breath, then let out a sharp exhale. Her countenance does become a tad bit more somber after finally getting herself under control.
Kendall Kingham: I know, I should be nervous, and don't get me wrong a big part of me is. A big part of me is also kinda upset, kinda disappointed. Like I haven't forgotten how bad Sloan beat the crap out of me more than once. How he pinned me in the middle of that ring to take away the title I busted my butt to give everything I had to-- the first title I'd ever held as a wrestler. The way he just flung-- is that right? Flung? Flinged? Flang? --
Kendall crinkles her nose as she undertakes some deep thinking.
Kendall Kingham:-- me around like it was nothing. The hurt that comes from that, then the disappointment seeing him after knowing what he can do firsthand. He can beat pretty much anyone he wants to on the right night, and seeing that he decided to conduct himself as Champ by just ... acting reckless, not giving a crap about competition. That really sucked to see in a title defense, in the middle of a tournament like the FLC that I would've loved to be part of.
After a few moments pass, she allows herself to smile again.
Kendall Kingham: I'm not letting that get me into a bad place though, and not just because I wasn't in a great place going into our first match-- I'm not making an excuse. It's because competing here at Final Frontier it isn't just one of the biggest shows of the year, for a title that means a lot to me, in my home city. This is the end of what's been a pretty awesome year for me, and it's a chance to make it even better.
A short nod.
Kendall Kingham: Like I was disappointed with myself heading into this year, but I made that run in the Young Guns Cup which obv I would've loved to win, but I started to show that I belonged with the best. Then for all the bad crap that happened with Mark Storm, I wrapped that up winning my first title like I said. I finally got the Cassius Reed dealie kinda off my back. A lot of good stuff happened, and I had to screw up first before I got the job done, which is one reason I have confidence in myself tonight.
She does her best to puff her chest out and stand up straight.
Kendall Kingham: Y'know I was thinking a while back that there's been a few 15 Champs that they've kinda fallen off a bit after they lost the title. But this isn't about what come after for me, it's not about my goals in 2019 for me, not yet. It's about going out there, doing what I love in front of these people I love here in the Flashpoint Zone. It's about not just laying down and saying 'okay' and accepting that my time with this Championship is over, and it's about when a fight's started? Not stopping fighting back until I'm the one that's finishing it-- let's do this.
Pulling her shades back down, she focus straight ahead and starts to stride towards gorilla position.

FGA 15 CHAMPIONSHIP (c) Sloan Talbot vs. Kendall Kingham The lights drop, and multi-colored ones start strobing around as "Professional Griefers" starts up to the cheers of the crowd. Kendall Kingham emerges into sight wearing her regular gear, sunglasses, and an airbrushed jacket. Kendall bounces on the balls of her toes before making her way down the ramp, slapping a few hands along the way. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 15 minute time limit and it is for the FGA 15 CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, from HELL’S KITCHEN, MANHATTAN, NEW YORK! Weighing in at 152 pounds… KENDAAAALLLLL KIIIINNNNNGHAAAAAAM!!! She hops up on the apron, runs to an unoccupied corner, and climbs to the second turnbuckle. Raising a fist to a pop from the crowd, she slingshots herself inside, and removes her jacket and glasses as the lights come back on while her music fades. Geoff Penzer: Folks, we’re back with our first Flashpoint match of the evening and it is for the FGA 15 Championship. Kendall Kingham, the former champion, is looking to bring her title back to the Flashpoint Zone. What better place to do than in her own backyard? The first few bars of “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” begin to play as the lights pulsate in time with the music. Slowly the curtains part, and Sloan Talbot steps through - his pace slow and methodical. “You can run on for a long time Run on for a long time Run on for a long time Sooner or later God'll cut you down Sooner or later God'll cut you down...” Sloan runs a hand through his hair as he makes his way down the aisle, a stoic expression on his face. Melanie Sierra: And her opponent, from Saint Michel, Morocco! Weighing in at 247 pounds! He is the reigning and defending FGA 15 Champion… SLOOOOAANNN TAALLLLLBOOOOOOT! Completely ignoring the fans either side of him Talbot reaches ringside, placing a knee on the apron before pulling himself up using the middle rope. He takes a quick glance around the arena before stepping into the ring and making his way to the corner. Geoff Penzer: Sloan Talbot has wrecked shop since debuting on Flashpoint earlier this year. We saw all the people that had to gang up on him to eliminate him from the Gold Rush Rumble. We saw the tear he went on during the summer. Recently, he has ragdolled Kingham, both inside the ring and backstage. The former champion knows all too well the power that Talbot has in his hands. Can she find a way to not just ring the big man down, but keep him down for the one-two-three? It’s a tall order for Kingham, that’s for sure. The bell sounds as Kingham and Talbot circle the ring. Talbot then goes to cut off the ring by making a beeline towards Kingham. The challenger motions to her left. Talbot ends up cutting her off. She then goes to her right. Again, Talbot cuts her off. The champ then lunges forward into the corner. But Kingham is able to slip out of the way. When Talbot turns around, the crowd cheers when Kingham hits him with three European Uppercuts! Geoff Penzer: Kingham wastes no time taking it right to the champ! Kingham brings Talbot from out of the corner and goes for an irish whip. But Talbot uses his free arm to hang onto the ropes. So Kingham tries for another irish whip. Again, Talbot blocks by grabbing a hold of the top rope. The crowd boos when he doubles Kingham over with a knee strike to the midsection. He then grabs the challenger by the back of the neck before tossing her out onto the apron. Talbot climbs up onto the middle ropes before reaching over and pulling up Kingham by the hair! Geoff Penzer: Oh boy! This isn’t good already... Talbot goes for Enter Tragedy (superplex from the apron). But Kingham blocks the move. Talbot then goes to muscle her up for another attempt at Enter Tragedy. The crowd gasps when he lifts Kingham up off the apron. Cheers quickly follows after Kingham nails him with a knee to the head of the way up! Kingham then comes crashing down on top of Talbot in the ring for the cover!!! ONE! . . Talbot shoves Kingham off of him. As Talbot tries to get back to his feet, Kingham darts over and throws out a Knee Trembler. Talbot slips out of the way, grabs Kingham from behind and goes for a belly to back suplex. Kingham ends up rolling over Talbot’s shoulder and landing safely on the apron. When Talbot turns around, Kingham doubles him over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. She then slingshots herself back into the ring for a sunset flip. The crowd cheers while Talbot swings his arms wildly. Geoff Penzer: This capacity crowd is cheering on New York’s own! She’s almost got Talbot down! Once Talbo regains his balance, he reaches down, grabs Kingham by the throat with both hands, yanks her back to her feet and tosses her into the corner! Talbot rushes in to attack when Kingham knocks him back with a boot to the face. She then climbs up onto the middle ropes. Before Kingham can jump off, Talbot reaches out, grabs Kingham by the ankle and yanks her off the ropes. The crowd boos when Kingham flies off the ropes and lands back-first on the mat! Talbot reaches down, yanks Kingham back up and tosses her right back into the corner! The champ rushes in and connects with a lariat! Talbot then takes Kingham and sends her into the opposite corner with an irish whip. He rushes across the ring to follow up with another lariat when Kingham slips out of the way, causing Talbot to crash into the corner! As Talbot stumbles away from the corner, Kingham brings him down with a schoolboy. ONE! . . Talbot kicks out. While Talbot tries to get back to his feet, Kingham rushes over and throws out another Knee Trembler. Once again, Talbot is able to slip out of the way. This time, he quickly follows up with a lariat to the back of the neck that knocks Kingham down! He reaches down, pulls up Kingham and shoves her off into the ropes. When Kingham returns, she slides through Talbot’s legs. After Talbot turns around, Kingham connects with a Brazilian Kick to the head! While Talbot is dazed, Kingham turns and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she throws herself at Talbot with a crossbody block. The crowd boos when Talbot catches Kingham in mid air, counters with a backbreaker and follows up with a fallaway slam that sends her rolling across the ring!!! Kingham rolls out onto the apron before slowly pulling herself back up using the ropes. Talbot makes his way over before throwing out a lariat. Kingham ducks to avoid the blow. But as soon as she stands back up, Talbot takes his other arm and nails Kingham with a hard lariat, sending her flipping off the apron and to the floor! The crowd erupts with boos. Geoff Penzer: Good Lord! Talbot grabs Kingham, hooks the leg and throws her down ringside with a release fisherman suplex! The boos continues as Talbot pulls up Kingham, hoists her up into a bear hug and them rams her back-first against the ring post! Talbot takes a few steps back and sizes Kingham up. He then runs forward and throws out a lariat. The crowd cheers when Kingham slips back into the ring, causing Talbot to hit his arm across the post! Geoff Penzer: HE MISSED! Kingham moved out of the way just in time! Kingham rolls back to the outside. She takes Talbot’s arm and swings it hard against the ring post! Geoff Penzer: Kingham’s trying to take out the arm! Kingham takes Talbot and rolls him back inside. After rolling back in, she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Talbot gets his good arm up. Kingham picks up Talbot and wrenches his left arm. She then delivers another arm wrench… and another… and another. The cheers quickly turn to boos when Talbot balls up his right hand and socks Kingham with a punch to the face! He then takes the challenger and whips her into the corner. Talbot rushes in to attack when Kingham counters with a European Uppercut. While Talbot stumbles back, Kingham hoists herself up onto the middle ropes, jumps off and knocks Talbot down with a diving European Uppercut! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Talbot gets his right shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Kingham knocks Talbot off his feet. But it only gets two. Kingham picks up Talbot, wrenches the arm and follows up with a single arm DDT. While holding Talbot’s arm down against the mat, Kingham delivers a handstand into a falling knee drop across the arm. Kingham lifts herself up, only to deliver another handstand into a falling knee drop across the arm. Kingham then slips on a Fujiwara Armbar! The official immediately gets down and asks Talbot if he wants to give up. But the champion refuses. While Kingham pulls back on the arm, Talbot pulls himself towards the ring, reaches out and grabs the bottom rope to initiate a rope break. Kingham breaks the hold. She then pulls up Kingham before going for an irish whip. But Talbot reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Kingham returns, Talbot lifts her up across his shoulders with a Samoan Drop. After kicking her legs, Kingham is able to slip down from behind and bring Talbot back down into another Fujiwara Armbar! Geoff Penzer: Kingham fights Talbot down to the mat and gets him back in the armbar! The ref gets back down and asks Talbot if he wants to give up. Again, Talbot refuses. Kingham pulls back on the hold while Talbot pulls himself towards the side of the ring. Kingham quickly lets go of the hold, transitions onto Talbot’s back and locks him in The Tombs (Grounded Top Wristlock Submission). The crowd explodes with cheers!!! Geoff Penzer: There it is! Kingham’s got Talbot locked in The Tombs! Talbot was able to get out of this hold the first time they fought! Can he escape it again!? Kingham pulls back on the hold, which causes Talbot to groan. The ref checks back in with Talbot and asks him if he wants to give up. Again, the champ refuses. He then pulls himself towards the side of the ring, reaches out and grabs the bottom rope. The crowd boos when the ref tells Kingham to break the hold. The challenger reluctantly lets go. She returns to her feet and backs up towards the ropes. As Talbot starts to pick himself up, Kingham rushes over and throws out a Knee Trembler. Once again, Talbot slips out of the way, scoops Kingham up with his right arm, heads towards the center of the ring and brings her down with a sidewalk slam. The boos continue as he reaches over and hooks the near leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kingham gets her shoulder up. While Talbot slowly pulls up Kingham, the challenger swats his hands off of her and nails him with a Samoan Spike! The crowd cheers when she hits Talbot with another Samoan Spike! While Talbot clutches his throat, Kingham turns and heads into the ropes. When she comes back, the crowd boos when Talbot flattens her with a running big boot to the face! He then reaches down, yanks up Kingham and lifts her up in the air. Talbot holds Kingham in the air with his right arm. The boos get louder and louder the longer Talbot keeps Kingham help upside down. After twelve seconds, Talbot falls back and completes the stalling suplex! He turns over into a lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Kingham gets her shoulder up. Talbot yanks Kingham up before whipping her hard into the corner. After Kingham staggers out of the corner, Talbot throws her down hard with a powerslam! He hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Kingham gets her shoulder up. Talbot pulls up Kingham by the hair before pushing her off into the ropes. When Kingham returns, the crowd boos when Talbot throws her down with authority using a spinebuster! He drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Kingham gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Another nearfall for the champion. Talbot is really start to unleash his offense now. Kingham withstood his initial attacks and was able to take him down. But the match has swung back in Talbot’s favor. Talbot sits up Kingham and applies a vice grip. The ref heads over and asks Kingham if she wants to give up. When she refuses, Talbot applies more pressure as he twists her neck. Geoff Penzer: Kingham has to hold on here. She’s got to try and fight through this. The 15 Championship is on the line. She desperately wants to win that title back and return to the Flashpoint Zone with it around her waist. Kingham reaches out towards the crowd. The capacity crowd begins to clap their hands in support of Kingham. The challenger shakes her fist when she starts to feed off the energy of the crowd. She slowly turns over onto her knees. Talbot keeps the hold locked on when Kingham gets one foot down on the mat. After Kingham battles back to a vertical base, she nails Talbot with repeated elbows to the midsection. Kingham keeps firing off elbows to the gut until the hold is broken. Once she’s free, she turns and heads into the ropes. When Kingham returns, the crowd gasps when Talbot reaches out and grabs Kingham by the throat. He lifts her up for a chokeslam. But on the way up, Kingham catches him with an elbow to the side of the head! After Kingham is lowered back down, she brings Talbot to the mat with a double knee armbreaker! Kingham rolls over onto a knee and waits for Talbot. When Talbot starts to push himself up on all fours, Kingham runs over and blasts him in the temple a Knee Trembler! Kingham heads into the corner and waits for Talbot. As Talbot starts to push himself up off the mat, Kingham runs over and blasts him across the side of the head with another Knee Trembler!! Kingham heads into another corner. The challenger waves her arm frantically. Talbot slowly puts his right palm down on the mat. Then his left. As he slowly pushes himself up off the mat, Kingham charges from out of the corner and clobbers him with a third Knee Trembler to the temple!!! Kingham pushes Talbot over onto his back and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd explodes with cheers when “Professional Griefers” blasts over the PA! Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner and NEEEEWWWWWWW FGA 15 Champion, KENDALL KINGHAM! The cheers continue as Kingham gets handed the 15 Championship! Kingham takes the title and hugs it dearly before heading into the corner, climbing the ropes and raising the title in the air.

The new year offers new possibilities. The once unthinkable becomes a reality. Ice tames the fire of hell. James Edwards and Amanda Johnson have a pleasant conversation.
Yep. The FGA viewers' eyes are not deceiving them, Flashpoint's ace reporter and the Burning Heart are amicably chatting, their contentious exchange the last time they met must have prompted a thaw in their relationship.
Cameraman: Amanda, we're live.
Johnson and Edwards both snap to attention.
Amanda Johnson: Well, like Joey our cameraman said, we're live, and I'm here with the number one contender to the International Heavyweight Championship, James Edwards.
Edwards nods to acknowledge the camera.
Amanda Johnson: James, this is the biggest night of your FGA career, maybe the biggest of your entire career, and speaking from experience this is the calmest I've ever seen.
James nods his head in agreement and slips the tips of his fingers into the pockets of his jeans.
Amanda Johnson: Is your mood in any way related to the fact that you beat your opponent, Chandler Scott, at Winter Frontier?
James Edwards: Nah.
Amanda Johnson: If you don't mind me asking, why is that?
Edwards grins and nods in the direction of the camera.
James Edwards: Like I told Joey on the AfterBurn after Winter Frontier, that win was a nice surprise. It gave me a little momentum going into tonight, but it ain't why I feel like I'm walking on sunshine.
The mental image of James skipping in the clouds is enough to make Amanda chuckle and Edwards wince in embarrassment.
Amanda Johnson: So why are you walking on sunshine?
James Edwards: It's a long ass story, sure you wanna hear it?
Amanda Johnson: Sure, I've got a few minutes.
James Edwards: You've me seen me fight before, right?
Johnson affirmatively nods.
James Edwards: Then you know it ain't pretty. I don't tie people in knots and make it look like art like Logan Alexander. I sure as hell don't do any of that twisty shit in the air like Marlon Cure. My style has always been blood and bone. I hit people, and I hit em' hard. Here's a secret, I don't have a lot of natural power, at least not as much as the fans may think I'm packing. When I drill some poor bastard with a kick to the gut hard enough, he'll shit his pants, that's all anger. I fight with my vision painted red. There ain't a whole helluva lot of thought that goes into my fights, at least the big ones, I let the rage guide me. You ever wonder why I usually don't leave people laying when they put their hands on me.
Amanda Johnson: You've retaliated more than a few times, James.
James Edwards: Hell, when you're right you're right, Amanda. Here's the thing, most of the time I don't give in. I stand there when people run me down in person or when I watch their shit on YouTube, and I choke the anger down. When I've got jumped, I did the same deal. I let the hate sit in the bottom of my stomach, and I chuck it up on somebody who has it coming.
Johnson grimaces.
Amanda Johnson: That's gross.
James Edwards: Eh, yeah it is. Aint' good for me either. When I see red, I do dumb shit, like jumping through the ropes at Brian Stryker and hitting the divider head first.
Amanda Johnson: But you won that match.
James Edwards: Yeah, but I almost ended up in a wheelchair. Brian wanted me to make a mistake and lead me right into one like a damn dog. Every time I fight angry, I'm letting some asshole make me their bitch. The last couple of times, I got lucky that I didn't get hurt all that bad. What's worse is the feeling of knowing I wasn't in control. I won all those battles, but guys like Stryker won the war because they got in my head and stayed there. I'm not a guy who is okay being a puppet and thank God that's not the case anymore.
Amanda Johnson: So when did it all change?
Edwards takes a deep breath.
James Edwards: A few shows back when Chandler decided to pinch me, the night of the most important backfist of my life. I don't know what it was about being pinched like that, but it was embarrassing as hell, close to humiliating. I heard the laughs from the crowd and saw that little smirk on his face. I was seeing red, but I was ready to walk away. Then for some reason, it hit me, if I walked away and did my business as usual, he wasn't gonna stop. He was gonna keep the cutesy shit up, and I was gonna keep getting more and more pissed off until I was like the avatar of anger or some such shit like that. I didn't want Chandler Scott to control me. I wanted to be the one with the power, and so I knocked him on his ass in front of the world. It felt good, almost as good as winning a championship, and it felt good because I harnessed the rage; I used it instead it using me. The way I like to think about it is instead of riding the lightning I chained the lighting, and that should be a scary thought for Chandler Scott. I'm not gonna self-destruct like he told the world he thinks I am tonight. Oh hell no, I'm gonna harness every ounce of anger I have, and I'm picking the right moment to detonate and end that bastard's title reign.
Amanda Johnson: And you think that will be enough to beat Chandler Scott?
James Edwards: Damn right I do.
Amanda Johnson: Well James, we are out of time here, good luck tonight.
Edwards nods, his grin morphing back into his usual stoic mask, and walks out of the picture.

In the back...the deepest part of the building is usually a desolate place, a lonely place. And while he’s sitting on one of the crates glancing glancing at a camera from a camera man he’s probably intimidated into giving him the time. There isn’t an obvious energy but rather an ominous calm; the calm before the storm. Seth is donning the ring attire he’ll wear for the evening, a coat that’s more reflective of his younger years with a flame design and the black tights with the flags of every country he’s ever wrestled in and the eyes of a warrior who has seen a lot of said battles all over the world.
Seth Iser: I’ve listened to a number of people talk about 2018 and I’ve even dabbled in that myself. What are humans without reflecting every once in a while? Just the problem with that for me is unlike a number of people in the company...I tell the truth. The truth of the matter is for me in this company...it’s not gone the way I’d like.
Iser’s eyes darken visibly as he continues recounting his less than stellar 2018.
Seth Iser: Hell, I only have one victory on Pay Per View this year and that’s when I ran Owen Gonsalves out of the company. Take that out from me and unfortunately for me...my record on these big events so far has been less stellar than the New York Knicks since James Dolan took over that franchise and ran it into the ground. Other than taking full pleasure in running that disgrace to wrestling out, I’d classify this year so far as a failure.
You can hear the live audience boo this obvious dig at their sports team considering the malevolent source of the comparison. He’s purely bitter in tone and in the face. But he’s not losing his composure.
Seth Iser: And many people think, rather, hope that the failure will complete its cycle when I lose to Izzy tonight with the Pride title being the stakes citing right now...there is no chance in hell I’d win without Moretti in the corner siting that his intervention was the only reason I’m in this position to begin with.
There’s a raise of the finger and a shake of the head by the oddly calm Seth.
Seth Iser: Then you’d be wrong. If it wasn’t there, it’d be three or four different opportunities later I’d use to win. That’s the art of being a professional. I outsmarted the mind killer in mental combat at the end of the day...and two out of three falls? It’s mental warfare. You can point to how she has a cardio advantage...fine, take it. But I have old age, treachery, and a certain array of moves to help fuel things...and the desire to reclaim something I feel like I’ve lost in these losses I have endured in this company.
Seth then decides to stand and take a menacing step closer toward the camera man but he’s not even showing a great anger. He’s focused...he’s calm, he’s wounded in tone but above all he’s extremely driven.
Seth Iser: Pride. These losses at the end of the day have taken it away from me, and I want my pride back.
A pause where he leaves those words hanging for a moment and the familiar scowl creeping into his face.
Seth Iser: Yes...this year has left a giant gaping wound where my pride once was...a wound that hasn’t healed and it’s just a dull knife twisting and turning every time I’m referred to as an underdog or someone who hasn’t come up big just yet. And that has chipped my pride away bit by bit and I am not as happy looking at myself in the mirror with the opportunities I’ve squandered away.
Iser’s face just morphs into that sneer as some of that fire, that anger, can’t stay gone forever. It’s forever mixed with him. But he’s still not yelling even if his eyes show that anger. His eyes narrow and eyebrows lower more than usual.
Seth Iser: And what won’t a man do to get that back? It means digging deep in that well I haven’t gone to in a while. It also means Izzy Anders, our current Pride Champion, is going to go through the long dark ride that is my mind. She’ll find that she’s unable to kill wrestling’s greatest mind.
Iser’s face relaxes slightly at the prospect of this war….his tendency of being both a blood knight and still confident to the point of perhaps even being arrogant in his abilities is shining through.
Seth Iser: We know she’s good. Dynamic Duos winner and the Pride Title this year. You’ve even been to the top of the mountain top in this company too, Izzy. All within a couple of years of experience...the world knows how good you are. I also know about your ability to scramble up someone’s mind and how hard your strikes hurt because I’ve experienced it myself. But…
Iser raises his hand up again with one finger up repeating that word.
Seth Iser: But...you and the entire wrestling world are going to get a true reminder of just how good I really am. That means for this particular instance...you’ll probably see things you haven’t seen from me in a while. What those are...I’ll leave that for your mind to wander. It’s your job to figure out this puzzle, champ in the middle of this mental war we’re going to have. And I’m not misstepping my bounds. This is a mental war between us. And only one of us will truly have our pride by the end of it all.
And then a turn for the serious when he glares at the camera with his hand balled up in a fist and even a smirk developing on his face.
Seth Iser: And when the war between us is over...I’m going to have my pride back...in the form of the Pride Title around my waist and the struggles of 2018 will have all been worth it because The Deity of Destruction will be back on his throne.
And with that Seth steps away from the camera after saying what he needs to knowing he’s about to go to war.

FGA PRIDE CHAMPIONSHIP © Izzy Anders vs. Seth Iser J.A. Aldridge: The following contest will be fought under Pride Rules and it is for the FGA PRIDE CHAMPIONSHIP! The lights dim down as the music begins to play. Soon enough, Seth Iser slowly walks through the curtain with that familiar scowl on his face. He starts walking down to the ring...glare etched on his face and listening to the fans boo him. J.A. Aldridge: Introducing first, the challenger! From Morgantown, West Virginia! Weighing in at 243 pounds! He is the “Deity of Destruction”... SETH ISER! A methodical, slow walk as he cracks his knuckles on the way down before pulling himself up onto the apron and enters the ring calmly before performing a crucifix pose at the center of the ring to revive the lights. He then goes to his corner and slinks to a seat just waiting for the bell to ring. Kris Cruise: Seth Iser says he’s looking to reclaim his pride in the from of the Pride Championship here tonight, Stephy. Stephy Auger: Well I personally don’t feel like 2018 has been a failure for wrestling’s greatest mind. But he’s right in the sense that he has come up short in championship opportunities recently. Can he end his 2018 on a positive note here tonight? "THE CHAMP IS HERE!" Drum beat. "THE CHAMP IS HERE!" Drum beat. "THE CHAMP IS HERE!" The intro of Jadakiss's "The Champ is Here" plays as a precursor to Izzy Anders' arrival, but before the final drum beat, Izzy’s derisive laugh overpowers it, cutting into it with static. As it fades, “Bad Dreams” by Phantogram starts to play. The arena gets covered in a gradient of fuschia and crimson. ♫ Bad dreams never affect me I'm not afraid of the concrete Bad dreams never affect me I'm not afraid of the concrete ♫ Izzy steps onto the stage out of a jet of smoke, standing with the championship slung over her chest. She starts down the ramp with a confident smirk, rocking the belt. When she stops in the middle of the ring, she slowly draws the championship away from herself. Raising it slowly, Izzy proclaims her status to the whole audience and anyone who might be watching. J.A. Aldridge: Introducing his opponent, fightout of of Holland, Michigan by way of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada! Weighing in at 140 pounds! She is the reigning… defending… FGA Pride Champion! “The Mindkiller” IZZY ANDERS! ♫ To changing me (And I believe this happened once before) To changing me (And I predict the world will be all gone) To changing me (And I can see the same things that you see) To changing me (‘Cause I predict the world) ♫ She steps to the ring apron, jumping onto it. She spins on it for a moment before stopping in the center. Izzy takes the championship into her teeth, blasting her coat off with a dramatic flair--her arms are outstretched. She leans back on the ropes as her theme strikes up and the lights dawn on her. When she lowers, she hits the top turnbuckle. The eyepatch begins to get peeled off, followed by a playful wink. She replaces the championship with the eyepatch to raise the championship high again. Izzy then leans back and begins to fall down to the apron. She sticks the landing gracefully and she descends down to the mat. With a somewhat seductive air, she scoots back to the center of the ring. Izzy eyes her opponent from there, giving them the cheshire grin she’s known for before getting to her feet. She sends them a wink as well before going to her preparations. Kris Cruise: Izzy Anders won the Pride Championship at the Seven Year Anniversary Show. That now makes her a Tag Title shy of becoming a Triple Crown AND a Grand Slam winner all in one night. Talk about making some history, Stephy. I know she’s rubbed some people wrong in the past with Heroes Never Die. But you cannot deny what she’s done here as a champion and if she can pull that off with Fujiko Mine by her side, you’d have to put here in the top tier of the best ever in FGA. Maybe even the best. Stephy Auger: Well hold your horses, Cruise. You’re talking about stuff that may or may not even happen down the road. Let’s talk about tonight and her defending her Pride Championship against Seth Iser. Seth beat her in the qualifiers for the FLC, you know! Kris Cruise: We all know why that happened and it was thanks to Vincent Moretti once again getting in the way. But The Mindkiller won’t be having that issue here tonight. Stephy Auger: No, The Mindkiller will have to worry about dealing with Wrestling’s Greatest Mind. Kris Cruise: Alleged Wrestling’s Greatest Mind. Stephy Auger: There’s nothing alleged about it. The bell sounds as Anders and Iser slowly begin to circle the ring. Champion and challenger begin to size each other up before making their way towards the center of the ring. Anders goes for a lock up. Iser then quickly ducks under, goes behind Anders and applies a waist lock from behind. He tries to hoist her up for a German Suplex, but Anders catches him with a back elbow to the back on the way up. After lowering Anders back down, Iser lifts her up again for another German attempt. This time, Anders elbows him in the face with her left arm. Once Anders is lowered back down, she delivers another back elbow using her left arm. She follows up with a back elbow using the right arm before going for transitioning behind him with a standing switch. She then latches onto Iser’s right arm and slowly pulls it behind him into a hammerlock. The Mindkiller then throws out the Black Song (Hammerlock Lariat). Iser tries to cut her off with a straight right to the jaw. But The Mindkiller is able to duck. Iser throws out another straight right to the face. But again, Anders ducks just in the nick of time. When she raises herself back up, she follows up with a palm strike to the face. When Iser turns back to Anders, the Pride Champion hits him with another palm strike to the face. This time, using the left hand. Anders ups the ante by walloping Iser with a Stockton Slap! Kris Cruise: HELLO! Stephy Auger: That wasn’t wise. An annoyed Iser slowly turns back towards The Mindkiller. He begins stalking her across the ring. Anders backs away from Iser. But the entire times, she’s egging him on by waving him over towards her. Anders then quickly sticks her upper body through the middle and top ropes to force a rope break. The Mindkiller smirks as she watches the ref force Iser back. Kris Cruise: I think The Mindkiller just got the best of Wrestling’s Greatest Mind with that exchange. Stephy Auger: Cute. Real cute. Once Iser is back towards the center of the ring, Anders slips back inside. She slowly circles Iser before inching her way over towards him. Both grapplers motion for a lock up. Anders then quickly drops down and goes behind Iser. After applying a waist lock, the crowd cheers when she lets go and smacks him upside the back of the head! When Iser turns to Anders, Anders motion for him to “come hither” as she backs away from him. Iser marches after Anders until Anders once again slips through the middle and top ropes. She smirks as she shoos Iser away from her. The ref then instructs for Iser to back up. Iser narrows his eyes at Anders while he reluctantly gets back towards the center of the ring. Kris Cruise: These Pride Title matches aren't just a battle of the physical, but the mental as well. Right now, Stephy, The Mindkiller is getting inside the head of Wrestling’s Greatest Mind! Anders slowly slips back in. She inches over towards Iser. Iser motions for a collar-and-elbow when Anders backs up at the last second. Iser points at Anders before forcefully pointing down in front him in. The crowd cheers Anders when she mocks Iser by pointing at him before pointing down in front of her. Iser then marches over and goes for a collar-and-elbow. Anders then ducks under, goes behind him and applies another waist lock. The Pride Champion then lets go before pushing Iser from behind. When Iser turns around, Anders piefaces him. A loud “OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH” can be heard from the capacity crowd. Kris Cruise: Izzy’s really pushing her luck now. Iser’s had enough of Anders and rushes after her. The Mindkiller runs backwards away from Iser before dropping down and rolling to the outside. The Mindkiller proceeds to stroll around the ring while flipping her hair. Iser stalks her from inside the ring. Iser continues to follow Anders while the ref continues to count Anders out. FOUR!

TWENT- Anders slowly rolls back into the ring. As Iser approaches, Anders rolls right back out! She once again casually strolls around ringside while flipping her hair. Iser points to Anders while demanding the referee get her back in. But the ref tells him that there’s nothing he can do. Frustrated, Iser drops and rolls to the outside. He rushes after Anders. The Mindkiller looks behind her and sees Iser approaching, so she rounds a ring post and rolls back inside. Once Iser rolls back in after her, he gets met with stomps to the chest! Kris Cruise: Seth Iser just fell for the oldest trick in the book. He’s got to be kicking himself right now. Stephy Auger: I’m sure he’d rather be kicking Anders! Anders reaches down, pulls up Iser, heads into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. She turns Iser around and blasts him with a knife edge chop. After stinging chop is fired off. The Mindkiller then this Iser with another chop. She follows up with a European Uppercut. Iser then grabs Anders by the throat, tosses her into the corner and proceeds to double her over with several knee strikes to the midsection. He then hooks Anders’ arm before flinging her out of the corner with a hip toss! As Anders turns over and gets up, Iser runs out of the corner and connects with a big boot to the chest. The move knocks Anders backwards and into the ropes. After bouncing off the ropes, Anders heads back over to Iser. The challenger catches her off the rebound and knocks her down with a back elbow to the face. Iser then goes to follow up with an elbow drop. But Anders rolls out of the way. Iser scrambles back to his feet and throws out another elbow drop. Again, Anders rolls out of the way. Iser slap the canvas in frustration as he gets back to his feet. He goes for a third elbow drop. Once again, Anders rolls out of the way and out onto the apron. When Iser turns over on a knee, he sees Anders posing on the apron and motioning for him to “come hither”. The crowd cheers while Iser is irate. Kris Cruise: Izzy’s really getting under Iser’s skin now! Stephy Auger: Does she have a death wish or something? Why would she taunt him like this!? Iser gets back to his feet and rushes over towards Anders. The Mindkiller rolls off the apron, grabs Iser by the ankle and yanks him down to the mat before dragging him to the outside. Iser then quickly doubles Anders over with a knee strike before delivering a russian leg sweep against the guardrail! Kris Cruise: Oh my! Stephy Auger: See!? See!? That’s what all that taunting gets her. Iser gets to his feet and stands over Anders while she’s seated against the guardrail. Iser motions for her to get up. But Anders is still hurting from the move. He then dares her to mock him now. After a toe kick catches Anders right in the mouth, Iser reaches down, yanks Anders up by the hair, slams her face-first onto the apron and shoves her back inside. He then rolls back in. Iser picks up Anders, grabs her by the throat and moves her into the corner. He follows up with a blistering knife edge chop that doubles Anders over. Iser cups her chin with his hand, stands her back up and fires off another blistering knife edge chop that echoes through the arena. The Champion quickly guards her chest. Iser grabs her by the arms, pulls them down and blasts her with another hard knife edge chop. He then takes Anders and whips her into the opposite corner. Iser runs across the ring to attack when Anders counters with a back elbow. She follows up with a European Uppercut that knocks Iser back. Anders then heads out of the corner before bouncing against the ropes. When she returns, the crowd boos when Iser knocks her down with a big boot to the face. He drops down and makes the cover. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Iser kicks out. Anders picks up Iser and wrenches his arm. The challenger quickly follows up with a knee to the midsection. He then turns and heads into the ropes. When Iser returns, he blasts Anders with a Wrestling II Knee Lift, sending Anders stumbling back before falling through the ropes and onto the apron. Iser approaches the ropes as Anders tries to shake out the cobwebs. Before she can recover, Iser reaches over and pulls her up by the hair. He then grabs a hold of the champion before bringing her back inside with a vertical suplex! The boos continue as Iser turns over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Andeers kicks out. Iser holds his cheek before slowly turning back to Anders. Stephy Auger: Izzy, what are you doing!? Iser grabs a hold of Anders before yanking her up by the hair. The challenger then takes Anders, rushes into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Anders around, Iser unleashes a ballistic combination of rights and lefts to the body. Iser then follows up with a hard European Uppercut that rocks Anders’ head back. Iser fires off another European Uppercut that clobbers the champion. The boos continues as Iser continues his flurry of European Uppercuts that send Anders slumping down in the corner. Iser then grabs the top ropes with each hand before stomping away at Anders’ face. Iser reaches down, yanks Anders back up and delivers and irish whip across the ring. He then takes Anders, delivers another irish whip, follows her back across the ring and connects with another running high knee! Iser pulls Anders from out of the corner before whipping her into the far ropes. When Anders returns, Iser lifts her up, turns and throws her down hard with a spinebuster. The back of Anders’ head smacks off the canvas before her body goes limp! Kris Cruise: The impact from that spinebuster, Stephy! Good Lord! Stephy Auger: Izzy might be hurt here. Iser reaches over, grabs Anders by the hair and slowly pulls her back to a vertical base. He then pulls her into a front facelock. Iser looks around and begins twirling his finger in the hair. He slaps Anders’ back before planting her with the Deprivation DDT (Jake Robert-style DDT)! Iser pushes Anders’ limp body over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! SETH ISER - 1 © IZZY ANDERS - 0 Kris Cruise: Just like that, Seth Iser has jumped out into the lead. The pressure is all on the champion now. She has to win back to back falls to walk out of here with the title. Stephy Auger: Izzy had her fun taunting Izzy. But not she’s down 1-0! Has she even recovered from that spinebuster and the DDT! Once the bell sounds to end the mandatory rest period, Iser heads back over towards Anders. He reaches down and grabs her by the hair before peeling her off the mat. While Anders is still dazed, Iser turns and runs into the ropes. When he comes back, he flattens her with a lariat to the back of the neck! He reaches back down, grabs Anders by the hair and slowly pulls her back to her feet. While The Mindkiller is still dazed, Iser turns and runs into the ropes. He heads over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Anders gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: The Mindkiller got rocked by those three lariats. When Iser returns, he delivers a jumping knee drop using the bulking knee brace! Iser bounces back to his feet and heads back into the ropes. When Iser returns, he delivers another jumping knee drop across the face! Iser motions for the cover, but quickly thinks better of it and gets back to his feet. He then heads over and delivers a hard toe kick to the face. Iser follows up with another toe kick right to the mouth. He reaches down, pulls Anders back up and shoots her off into the ropes. When Anders returns, Iser lifts her up for a spinebuster. Before Iser can turn and throws her down, Anders counters with a back elbow to the side of the head. Once Anders lands on her feet, she fires off a European Uppercut. She then connects with a second European Uppercut. Then a third! He reaches in, grabs Anders and drags her so that hard upper body is now out onto the apron. Iser returns to the apron and takes a few steps back. He then walks forward before going for a jumping leg drop across the apron. But Anders slips back inside, causing Iser to land on the apron before crumbling to the floor! Kris Cruise: Iser missed! Anders slipped back inside just in time! Stephy Auger: How badly is he hurt!? Iser can be seen grabbing the back of his leg while on the floor. Back inside, Anders continues to lay on her back. The champion slowly rolls back out onto the apron. She slowly pulls herself up using the ropes while she eyes her challenger. Iser slowly turns over on all fours. While Iser is dazed, Anders turns and runs into the far ropes. When she returns, she goes for a second A Gift For You. This time, Iser wraps his arm around her leg. Anders hops up and down on one leg while Iser returns to his feet. The Mindkiller smirks at Iser before she wallops him with a Stockton Slap! Anders then takes her right hand and slaps the taste out of Iser’s mouth with another Stockton Slap! She motions for another slap. But Iser cuts her off with a dragon screw leg whip. She continues to rain down vicious elbow strikes to the side of the head until she abruptly stops and gets back to her feet. While the ref checks in on Iser, Anders reaches down, grabs the bulky knee brace and undoes the strips of velcro before yanking it off his leg. The Mindkiller crouches down and waves the knee brace in front of Iser before chucking it behind her and to the outside. Anders stands up before punting Iser in the face with a soccer kick! Anders picks up Iser before moving him into the corner. She hooks his left leg across the middle rope before delivering a series of knee strikes to it! So she follows up with a step-up enzuigiri that staggers him. A dazed Iser stays on his feet before dropping down to a knee! The Mindkiller takes her cue and heads into the ropes. When she returns, the crowd boos when Iser stands back up, grabs Anders and flings her across the ring with a release belly to belly suplex! Iser continues his verbal and physically attack on Anders before delivering the last knee drop to the arm. He then keeps the grounded hammerlock applied. He yells at Anders to tap out. When she refuses, Iser forces Ander’s hand up towards her neck to apply pressure to the shoulder joint! The ref asks Anders if she wants to give up. But the champion refuses. She takes her right hand and plants it firmly palm side down on the mat. With the capacity crowd rallying behind her, The Mindkiller slowly pushes herself up onto her hand and knees. A hurt Iser gets to his feet and holds his jaw in agony before raising the Pride Championship in the air. Kris Cruise: Seth Iser has just become the new Pride Champion! But it shouldn't have gone down that way, Stephy! Stephy Auger: What do you mean? Seth didn’t use a chair, brass knucks or a roll of quarters. Even Vincent Moretti wasn’t at ringside! Kris Cruise: Izzy clearly got her foot on the bottom rope before the three count! That pinfall shouldn’t have counted, Stephy! Stephy Auger: Are you sure? I didn’t see anything. Kris Cruise: How could you not? You’ve got a monitor right in front of you! Stephy Auger: Yeah, well, I’m sure she was out of rope breaks, anyway. You know, Pride Rules and all. Kris Cruise: She wasn’t! She only used one of her three rope breaks, Stephy and you know it. Stephy Auger: Well… I don’t know. Maybe the official lost count or something! Kris Cruise: That’s not an excuse, Stephy! Stephy Auger: So what? People get screwed over everyday. Besides, I’m sure that all Izzy has to do is go to her good buddy Leonard T. Asherman. I’m sure he’ll be ready to jump at the chance to help his pal out! Kris Cruise: Well I can tell you one thing. GM Geroux isn’t crooked like the last person who occupied that chair. I’m sure she’ll have plenty to say about this soon.

Just like the previous night, we cut to the backstage area to once again find the Chaotics together in their locker room. Only this time both of them are preparing for action, albeit in their own ways. Ashlyn is wearing her faux-paint-splattered black tights, complete with a tank top, inconspicuously featuring an artist’s interpretation of a dragon breathing fire on a steamboat. She leans back on a bean-bag chair, presumably hauled in from home, gaze set ahead, clutching the World Tag Team Title in her hands. Logan is dressed and ready to get out to the ring once again. He doesn’t appear to be showing wear and tear from his appearance in the Frontier Lion’s Cup the night before. Even though he came up short in his efforts to win, he’s still carrying himself with a measure of confidence.
Logan Alexander: Feels like I did all of this last night.
He cracks a small smile.
Logan Alexander: I just hope that I can salvage something from this event. I’d really hate to start 2019 knowing I lost the Lion’s Cup and let the World Tag Team championships slip away from us as well.
Ashlyn’s eyes flicker toward Logan, but she doesn’t appear willing to share the smile.
Ashlyn De Luca: Don’t even speak it.
She stares at him, incredulously for a few moments, before going on.
Ashlyn De Luca: We [MUTE] this up, and the Tag Team Titles aren’t just slipping away. If we go out there and fall on our asses, against... them... after everything we’ve done to make tonight a possibility, then we lose all credibility. We can’t show our faces on Flashp-- no-- we can’t show our faces in FGA if we lose these titles. I don’t have time for your what-ifs right now, dude. We’re winning. And we’re sending Hadley packing.
Logan stares back at Ashlyn, his eyebrows raised in surprise at the outburst that had been directed his way. He glances away from her.
Logan Alexander: Sorry… was just hoping to lighten the mood a bit with some gallows humour. Been a rather stressful twenty four hours… well, probably more than that. Getting beaten up on and put down last night didn’t help either… Now this...
He leaves the sentence and its implication of what exactly he’s referring to hanging in the air. There’s an uncomfortable pause between the two for a few seconds, until a gentle knock at the door interrupts the silence.
Ashlyn De Luca: Ah. I know that knock…
Overhearing the remark and accepting it as a greeting, Amanda Johnson pushes open the door to the dressing room, walking inside with a determined look-- completely bypassing the typical polite smile it would seem. Ashlyn pushes herself up from the beanbag chair and raises a brow at the interviewer.
Ashlyn De Luca: Sup.
Amanda looks curiously from Logan to Ashlyn before sighing and calmly raising her mic.
Amanda Johnson: I don’t… have the resources nor the time to look into exactly why Hadley Herrera agreed to put her job on the line in a match featuring your Tag Team Championships tonight, but I’m positive that you guys--
Amanda’s gaze meets Ashlyn’s.
Amanda Johnson: --or one of you--
Ashlyn De Luca: Hm.
Amanda Johnson: --managed to make this happen. Somehow you have nearly intimidated Hadley Herrera out of her position, possibly through the threats of attorneys, and I’m just wondering if you feel you made the right call. From an unbiased standpoint, this is going to be a part of your legacy forever.
Ashlyn feigns confusion.
Ashlyn De Luca: What is? A successful title defense that takes our reign into 2019?
Amanda Johnson: ...or how we got to it.
Logan blows out a breath in annoyance.
Logan Alexander: Do you hear yourself Amanda?
He narrows his eyes at her.
Logan Alexander: We intimidated Hadley into putting her job on the line? Really? All we did was appeal our case to a higher authority in FGA. You seem to think that we are nursing some sort of unreasonable grudge, but all you have to do is look at who we are dealing with and you’d see that we have been responding to each one of her provocations in a measured way. It’s just that now, she’s gotten to the point that we feel we need to ask her boss to remove her from her position.
Amanda Johnson: What in the world are you talking about?
Logan Alexander: We’re sick of her favouritism and sick of being the targets of her abuse. She’s been doing everything she can in the past six months to coddle her family members in this brand and help them get ahead. After All Star Showdown she tried to back out of her agreement with the Dogs of War for the title match she promised them. Who benefited from that? Dan and Peaches, who didn’t deserve that match. What part of that was fair to anyone involved?
While Johnson looks unsure how to respond on the spot, Ashlyn smirks, amused at the fire lit under her tag partner. Logan continues before the interviewer can utter a word.
Logan Alexander: Ashlyn and I wanted an opportunity in singles competition, so Hadley puts us in the Lion’s Cup against each other in the qualifiers and also has the brackets set up so that whoever moved on would likely have to face her golden boy Johnny Karma. She probably expect the both of us to be gone at that point, except that I derailed that entire train.
This time, Amanda doesn’t bother trying to respond, just holding the microphone in place for Logan to continue as she looks at him. The audience has grown louder in the silence, many vocally in support of Alexander.
Logan Alexander: Then what did she do after that? Since I was then scheduled to compete last night, Hadley then decided to make us wrestle again tonight, for our titles, and guess who she decided to gift yet another title match to?
The question is rhetorical, but Ashlyn speaks up anyway.
Ashlyn De Luca: Her crusty ass family. Because of course.
She sighs.
Ashlyn De Luca: Too little too late for her if you ask me. Dan and Peaches can’t stop what happens tonight and over our dead [MUTE] bodies are they taking the World Tag Team Titles.
The words hang, coldly in the air, earning a deep mixed reaction from Madison Square Garden.
Amanda Johnson: Thank you for your time, guys…
The interviewer shoots the two of them another gaze before turning and walking out of the room. As the World Tag Team Champions exchange a look, our scene cuts back to the commentary desk.
Geoff Penzer: I don’t know how they pulled it off-- but it’s a reality here soon. The Chaotics put their FGA World Tag Team Championships on the line against Peaches and Dan Herrera of the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad… and in return, they’re defending the very career of Hadley Herrera. I can’t believe it.
Stephy Auger: What kind of nonsense is going on over there on Flashpoint, Geoff? There’s no control-- no oversight-- nothing! Haha, don’t even THINK about coming around knocking on Vertigo’s doors once you’re out of a job!
Kris Cruise: Well, all we know is that Hadley Herrera felt that for the good of the brand she had to put her job on the line tonight. The Chaotics were absolutely relentless in trying to get her removed from her position to the point where it was disrupting weekly broadcasts. Tonight, it’s all coming to a head.
Geoff Penzer: Tonight, one way or another, it’s coming to an end.

FGA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP If the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad lose, GM Hadley Herrera will be fired! © The Chaotics vs. Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad ...Spoken...
"May I remind you again, this is a dream, and in dreams, you can do anything you darn please!" When the first bass drum thumps, Dan pulls the curtain back and walks out from behind the curtain with his tag team partner Peaches hanging onto his arm. They pose for the fans, giving head nods to as many of their supporters as they can before they begin heading towards the ring as a spotlight stays on them Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the FGA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, the challengers! Making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 332 pounds ... DAN HERRERA ... PEACHES ... THE POLYCHROMATIC LION ATTACK SQUAD! There's no turning back tonight.
Kiss me one last time[ As Dan and Peaches make their way to the ring Dan slaps hands with the fans on one side of the entrance-way while Peaches walks down the other side slapping hands with the fans there. At the bottom of the entrance way, Peaches leans in and gives Dan a peck on the cheek as the pair climb into the ring. Peaches immediately climbs up onto the nearest turnbuckle and poses with her fists raised into the air while, on the opposite side of the ring, Dan poses in a similar manner on the other turnbuckle. The music dies down as the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad members climb down, ready to start the match. Geoff Penzer: The Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad are fired up here tonight! This isn’t just for the Titles. They aren’t just fighting for gold. They’re fighting for family! Hadley Herrera’s job is on the line here tonight! I can even begin to imagine the pressure that the challengers are under right now! The lights in the arena slowly fade to darkness. While this hushes some members of the audience, others grow loud in anticipation. “Deadcruiser” hits the PA system and a silver-blue strobe begins to dance near the top of the ramp, revealing a feminine figure with a hoodie thrown over wrestling gear, back turned toward the ring. As the lights in the arena begin to systematically brighten, it becomes clear that the figure is Ashlyn De Luca. The arena plunges into darkness once more, earning a cheap pop from the live audience for theatrics-- before all of the lights scream to life, casting a blinding glow down on the pair at the top of the ramp. While Ashlyn De Luca now faces the ring, arms still above her head, our camera swing to reveal Logan standing with his back to hers, arms held out straight to the side. Ashlyn lowers her arms, pointing a two-handed “finger gun” toward the camera with a smirk, though she abandons it as she and the hooded Logan Alexander abruptly part, marching toward the ring with a purpose. Melanie Sierra: And their opponents, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 268 pounds! They are the reigning and defending FGA World Tag Team Champions! They are the team of Logan Alexander and Ashlyn De Luca… THE CHAOTICS! Reaching the bottom of the ramp, Ashlyn pauses just once to survey the audience while Logan walks to the ring apron, stepping inside. Ashlyn ever-so-faintly smiles into the audience again before rushing to the barricade. Our hard camera takes over, with Ashlyn leaping onto the barricade, arms wide as she screams back out into the raucous audience. Behind her, Logan mounts the bottom-and-middle ropes, arms held to his side in a similar pose. Ashlyn drops from the barricade, sliding into the ring beneath the ropes and Logan, hopping to her feet on the opposite side of the ring, screaming out into the other side of the audience as they rise to their feet. Logan drops down from the ropes and bumps forearms with De Luca in the center of the ring as they pass each other, mounting opposite corners to look out into the masses. The Chaotics remove their hoodies, tossing them simultaneously into the crowd as their music fades. Geoff Penzer: This capacity crowd is showing appreciation for the effort that Logan Alexander put forth last night. Mr. Alexander put on a master class throughout the course of the evening. It’s a shame that he had to fall at the hands of that scheming Evan Envi. I think a match pitting Alexander's technical prowess against the innovative offense of someone like Fujiko Mine could have been a match for the ages… Stephy Auger: Hey! Listen here, Geoff! Don’t talk bad about our Chief, okay? You want to talk about people being crooked? Start with your boss, okay? Kris Cruise: Stephy, shhh! Let Geoff call his match… Geoff Penzer: Like I was saying, this crowd is showing appreciation for Alexander. Ashlyn De Luca, on the other hand… Well, you guys can hear the reaction yourselves. The bell sound as De Luca rushes over and hits Peaches in the back with a front dropkick, knocking her through the ropes and to the floor. Geoff Penzer: De Luca wastes no time going right after her chief rival! The boos continue as De Luca rolls to the outside and puts the boots to Peaches. She reaches down, yanks Peaches up by the hair, presses her against the side of the ring and chokes her with both hands! The ref immediately heads to the outside and scolds De Luca for applying the choke. After getting warned by the referee, De Luca lets go… and follows up with a hard punch to the midsection. Peaches doubles over before crumbling to the floor. She reaches down, yanks Peaches back up by the hair and marches down ringside. She pulls Peaches’ head back and goes to slam her down face-first onto the steel steps. But Peaches puts her hands down on the steps. She then elbows De Luca, grabs her, pulls her hand back and slams her face-first onto the steel steps to cheers from the crowd! Peaches grabs De Luca by the hair, pulls back and slams her down face-first onto the steel steps a second time! She takes De Luca and pushes her back inside. After rolling back in, Peaches pulls up De Luca, pushes her into the corner and drops her with a forearm strike. She reaches down, pulls De Luca back up in the corner and sends her into the opposite corner with an irish whip. Peaches runs across the ring, hops onto De Luca and sends her flying out of the corner with a monkey flip. De Luca over rotates in the air and smacks face-first on the mat! Geoff Penzer: OH, that one had to hurt! Peaches steps out onto the apron before scaling the turnbuckles. De Luca starts to push herself up off the mat. Once she gets to her feet and turns around, the crowd cheers when Peaches leaps off the top turnbuckle and returns her to the canvas with a missile dropkick! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . De Luca kicks out. Peaches picks up De Luca, brings her over towards the PLAS corner and tags in Dan Herrera. The crowd cheers as Herrera gets in and wrenches De Luca’s arm before sending her off into the ropes. When De Luca returns, Herrera drops down to the mat. De Luca hops over him before continuing to run the ropes. When she returns, Herrera returns to his feet and leans forward to set up a back body drop. De Luca ends up hurdling over him before continuing to run the ropes. When she comes back, Herrera lifts her up across his shoulders before delivering a Samoan Drop! Herrera turns over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . De Luca kicks out. Herrera picks up De Luca, moves her into the corner and delivers a trio of knife edge chops. He then tags Peaches back in. After Peaches gets in, PLAS bring De Luca from out of the corner before sending her into the far ropes. When De Luca returns, Herrera brings her down with a drop toe hold. Peaches immediately follows up with an elbow drop across the back. She then pushes De Luca over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . De Luca kicks out. Geoff Penzer: The cover only gets a count of two. But The Polychromatics continue to remain in control of this contest. Peaches heads over and tags Herrera back in. PLAS take De Luca and sends her into the corner. After placing Herrera in a headlock, Peaches runs forward and doubles De Luca over with a Battering Ram to the midsection. Peaches then heads out onto the apron while Herrera pulls De Luca from out of the corner. He holds her up in a Bearhug before turning her around. Peaches scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and knocks De Luca down with a flying clothesline! Herrera then drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . Logan Alexander breaks up the pin with a stomp to the back. Geoff Penzer: Timely save there by Alexander. We’ve yet to see Chaos Stryke in action here tonight. I’m not sure if that’s because the Polychromatics are busy working De Luca over if it it’s a conscious decision by The Chaotics to let Alexander rest after his marathon last night. While Alexander heads back out onto the apron, Herrera tags Peaches back in. PLAS then takes De Luca and whips her into the ropes. When she returns, PLAS bring her down with a catching hip toss! Peaches drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . De Luca gets her shoulder up. Peaches picks up De Luca, heads into the corner and climbs up onto the middle ropes. After grabbing De Luca, Peaches goes for a Tornado DDT. De Luca counters by taking Peaches and pushing her off mid-turn. Once Peaches lands on her feet, the crowd boos when De Luca rushes over and knocks her down with a Crescent Kick! She then marches over and tags in Alexander. Chaos Stryke gets in, picks up Peaches and delivers a snap suplex. Alexander pulls Peaches back up, scoops her up from the side and delivers a pendulum backbreaker. He then heads into the corner, hoists himself up onto the middle ropes, jumps off and connects with an elbow drop. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Peaches kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Alexander’s lookin pretty fresh thus far for a man that went to war with Cassius Reed, Ashley Sullivan and Evan Envi last night. Alexander may say that these guys are younger and faster and stronger. But he’s still in pretty good shape. Alexander picks up Peaches and whips her into the ropes. When she returns, Alexander doubles her over with a punch to the midsection before bringing her down with a russian leg sweep. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Peaches gets her shoulder up. Alexander picks up Peaches and whips her into the ropes. When she returns, Alexander throws out a punch to the face, which Peaches ducks. She continues to run the ropes. When Peaches returns, Alexander throws out a back elbow. Again, Peaches ducks. As soon as she hits the ropes, the crowd boos when De Luca nails her with a rope-assisted gamengiri to the back of the head! Geoff Penzer: Ashlyn De Luca with a cheap shot! What the heck, Ashlyn! Peaches staggers away from the ropes until Alexander knocks her off her feet with a lariat takedown! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Peaches gets her shoulder up. De Luca can be seen holding her arm out and calling for the tag. Alexander obliges as he heads over and tags her back in. He then takes Peaches, slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle, turns her around and stomps her down in the corner. The boos intensify as De Luca applies a foot choke. The ref is quick to give her until the count of five to break the choke. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… De Luca lets go… only to apply another foot choke! This time, she pulls down on the top rope. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… De Luca reluctantly lets go. She then trash talks Peaches before slapping her across the face. As she slowly pulls Peaches up in the corner, Peaches swats her hands from off her and nails her with a forearm strike! De Luca gets caught with another forearm strike! Then another! Peaches turns her attention to Alexander and catches him with a back elbow to the face! When she turns her attention back to De Luca, she gets raked in the eyes! The ref scolds De Luca, but she pays him no mind. She then drags Peaches out of the corner by the hair, grabs her from the side and brings her down with a rolling double russian leg sweep. After De Luca rolls back to her feet, she sits up Peaches before running into the ropes. When she returns, she flattens Peaches with a rolling Axe Kick! She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Peaches gets her shoulder up. De Luca makes another lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . Peaches gets her shoulder up. De Luca looks down at peaches and sneers. She then bends her arm at 90 degrees before raining down hard forearm strikes across Peaches’ jaw! Geoff Penzer: That’s enough, Ashlyn! Jesus! The boos continue as De Luca grinds her forearm against Peaches’ jaw!!! She makes another lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . Peaches gets her shoulder up. De Luca yanks up Peaches by the hair, runs and tosses her through the ropes and onto the apron. After stepping out onto the apron, De Luca looks over at Herrera as she slowly pulls up Peaches to her feet. She taunts Herrera while slowly hooking Peaches’ arm from behind. After hooking the other arm, the crowd gasps when De Luca tries to throw Peaches off the apron with a Dragon Suplex! But Peaches is able to block by hooking her right leg around the bottom rope. De Luca tries to muscle her up for another Dragon Suplex off the apron. But again, Peaches is able to counter. So De Luca lets go of Peaches, turns her around and connects with an elbow strike. Peaches comes back with a forearm strike. De Luca nails Peaches with another elbow strike! Peaches answers back with another forearm strike! Peaches cuts De Luca off with another forearm strike! The another! The crowd gasps when Peaches hooks De Luca and sets her up for a moonsault side slam off the apron! But De Luca counters with elbows to the side of the head! She then quickly gains control of Peaches’ back, hooks the arm from behind and throws her off the apron with a Dragon Suplex to the floor!!! The crowd gasps when Peaches lands hard on the floor. Geoff Penzer: Peaches might be seriously hurt here! De Luca rolls back inside while Herrera hops off the apron and attends to his wife. While Herrera is kneeling down next to Peaches, De Luca rolls back to the outside. The crowd erupts with boos when De Luca shoves Herrera out of the way from behind before putting the boots to Peaches! She then yanks Peaches up before whipping her hard against the announce table. Geoff Penzer: HEY! Peaches smacks against the table before crumbling to the floor. De Luca rolls back inside while Herrera and the ref yell at her. Herrera shakes his head in disgust at De Luca before dropping back down to a knee to check on Peaches. De Luca heads across the ring and repeatedly bounces against the far ropes. The cameras switch back to the outside to show the ref checking on Peaches as well. Peaches favors the back of her neck. The ref asks them if they want to give up. Herrera then asks Peaches if she wants to continue. The ref lets her known that it’s okay. But Peaches refuses. Herrera then helps Peaches back to her feet. As soon as PLAS turn around, the crowd erupts with boos when De Luca leaps through the ropes and flattens Peaches with a running suicide front dropkick through the ropes!!! Geoff Penzer: De Luca nearly took Peaches’ head off! De Luca pushes Herrera back before picking up Peaches and rolling her back inside. She then rolls back in, drags Peaches away from the ropes and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Peaches gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: What the heck has gotten into De Luca? She’s better than this! De Luca heads over and tags Alexander back in. The Chaotics then takes Peaches and whip her into the ropes. When she returns, The Chaotics knock her down with a double running dropkick. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Peaches gets her shoulder up. Alexander heads over and tags De Luca back in. Alexander heads back over and executes a wheelbarrow while De Luca bounces against the ropes. When she returns, she knocks Peaches down with a Scissors Kick! She then heads out onto the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle. De Luca then walks halfway across the top rope, leaps off and connects with a guillotine leg drop across the back of the neck! She then pulls Peaches over before making the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Peaches gets her shoulder up. De Luca yanks up Peaches by the hair and goes for a brainbuster. But Peaches is able to block the move. De Luca tries to muscle Peaches up for another brainbuster. But Peaches is able to block. After putting Peaches in the ribs, De Luca starts to lift her up for another attempt at a brainbuster. On the way up, Peaches hits De Luca with a knee to the face. Once Peaches is lowered back down, she turns and motions towards the far ropes. De Luca then reaches out, grabs Peaches by the back of the tights, yanks her back over towards her and nails her with an elbow strike to the back. While Peaches arches her back, De Luca quickly hops onto Peaches’ shoulders flips back and spikes her with a Poison Rana! De Luca yanks Peaches over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! The crowd cheers when Peaches gets her shoulder up. De Luca makes another lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! Peaches gets her shoulder up. The crowd erupts with boos when De Luca yanks Peaches over into the prone position, mounts on top of her back, grabs her by the hair with both hands and repeatedly rams her face-first into the canvas! De Luca gets to her feet before delivering a stomp to the back. She then heads over and tags Alexander back in. Chaos Stryke heads over and pulls Peaches up off the mat. After applying a front facelock, he hoists Peaches up before planting her with the Chaotic Shockwave (Implant DDT)! He turns Peaches over before making the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO! The crowd cheers when Herrera breaks up the pin with a stomp to the back. Whie Herrera is heading back towards his corner, De Luca rushes over and shoves him in the back. As she makes her way back across the ring, she makes a detour to deliver a stomp to Peaches. Geoff Penzer: Enough, Ashlyn! With De Luca back out on the apron, Alexander picks up Peaches, grabs her from the side and drives her down with a forward russian leg sweep. He pushes Peaches over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO! Peaches gets her shoulder up. Alexander picks up Peaches, places her in a headlock and goes for a running bulldog. But Peaches is able to push him off and send him into the ropes. When Alexander returns, Peaches sends him tumbling to the mat with a basement dropkick. Geoff Penzer: Peaches may have just found her opening! Alexander reaches over and holds his right knee while Peaches stirs on the canvas. Herrera can be seen in the corner slapping the top turnbuckle. He tries to will his partner to get into the PLAS corner and make the tag. Peaches slowly turns over on all fours. She gets one foot on the mat before turning to a vertical base. She looks over and sees Alexander trying to pick himself up. So she runs over and jumps over towards her corner for the tag. While Peaches is in the air, Alexander leaps up and knocks her down with a spear! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THRE-NO! The crowd gasps, then cheers when Peaches gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Alexander speared Peaches out of mid air, but it still wasn’t enough! Peaches knows what’s on the line here tonight! It’s gonna take multiple spears to keep her own! Alexander picks up Peaches and sends her into the corner. He then runs in to follow up with an attack when Peaches knocks him back with a back elbow to the face. She then hoists herself up onto the middle ropes, jumps off and brings Alexander down with a diving neckbreaker! Peaches turns over onto all fours. Once she gets back to her feet, she leaps over into the corner and makes the tag. Geoff Penzer: Dan’s back in! The crowd cheers when Herrera gets back in. De Luca runs over to attack. But Herrera knocks her down with a lariat! He then rushes over and knocks Alexander down with a lariat! Herrera runs back over and knocks De Luca off her feet with a lariat! He then heads over and sends Alexander back to the mat with another lariat! Herrera picks up Alexander and whips him into the ropes. When Alexander returns, Herrera brings him down with a Samoan Drop! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . De Luca dives over and breaks up the pin! The boos continue while De Luca delivers clubbing strikes across Herrera’s back. She then pulls Herrera up and goes for an irish whip. Herrera reverses, sending De Luca towards the ropes. When De Luca hits the ropes, Peaches pulls down the top rope, sending De Luca flipping over the top rope and crashing hard to the floor! Back inside, Herrera knocks Alexander back with right hands to the face. He then turns and hits the ropes. When Herrera returns, Alexander throws him down with a spinebuster! He rolls across Herrera and hooks the leg for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Herrera gets his shoulder up. Alexander picks up Herrera, places him in a headlock and goes for another running bulldog. Herrera then shoves Alexander off of him and into the ropes. When Alexander returns, he knocks Herrera off his feet with a lariat takedown! After Herrera drops down to a knee, Alexander pulls him up to his feet from behind and goes for the Chaotic Repeater (multiple German Suplexes). But Herrera counters with a back elbow to the face. After performing a standing switch, Herrera doubles Alexander over with a clutching strike from behind. He then hoists Alexander up before bringing him down with the Final World (Pumphandle Slam)! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Alexander kicks out. Herrera picks up Alexander and goes for an irish whip. But Alexander reverses, sending Herrera into the ropes. When Herrera returns, he throws out a discus elbow strike. But Alexander ducks, grabs Herrera from behind and tries to lock in the Revised Chaos Theory (rear naked choke). Before Alexander can pull him down to the mat and apply a bodyscissors, Herrera reaches up, grabs Alexander’s arms and throws him down off of him. When Alexander gets back up and turns around, he gets caught with a spinning heel kick! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Alexander kicks out. Herrera picks up Alexander and whips him hard into the corner. After Alexander staggers from out of the corner, Herrera leans forward, lifts him up, turns and throws him down with the Wit’s End (double leg slam)! He drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Alexander gets his shoulder up. Herrera picks up Alexander and lifts him up onto his shoulders for an electric chair. Before Herrera can deliver a move, Alexander counters with punches to the top of the head. He then slips down in front of Herrera before running into the ropes. When Alexander returns… Geoff Penzer: SPEAR! Herrera picks up Alexander and lifts him back up onto his shoulders with an Electric Chair! Peaches takes her cue from Herrera and starts to climb the turnbuckles! Geoff Penzer: This could be it right here! We could be on the verge of having new tag champions! Once Peaches reaches the top, the crowd boos De Luca climbs up onto the apron and shoves her off, sending her crashing down to the floor! Geoff Penzer: Peaches just fell to the floor hard! De Luca hops back in through the ropes, lunges forward and tackles Herrera in the knee! Herrera’s leg buckle awkwardly as the weight of Alexander comes down on top of him!! Geoff Penzer: Now Dan Herrera might be hurt! De Luca goes over and pulls Herrera up to a seated position. The Chaotics quickly follow up with the Double Tap (superkick from Alexander + spinning heel kick from De Luca)! The Chaotics pulls Herrera back to his feet, lift him up and plant him with a stalling brainbuster!! Alexander lifts up Herrera’s legs, steps through them, crosses them up, turns and applies the Perfect Chaos Theory!!! De Luca then drops down and applies a Fujiwara Armbar. Geoff Penzer: C3A! Herrera can be heard groaning in agony while he’s trapped in the submission. The ref asks him if he wants to give up. But Herrera refuses. The crowd cheers when Peaches rolls back in and tries to break it up. De Luca sees her coming. So she lets go of the amrbar, returns to her feet, rushes over and knocks Peaches down with a superkick! She then grabs Peaches and tosses her through the ropes and to the floor. De Luca then marches back over and stomps away on Herrera before dropping down and locking the Fujiwara Armbar back on! Peaches is shown sprawled out on the floor. Back in the ring, Herrera continues to groan in agony. Geoff Penzer: Dan Herrera is once again trapped in the C3A! Alexander’s got control of his legs! De Luca’s got control of his arms! He’s got nowhere to go, folks! The crowd cheers when GM Hadley Herrera is seen marching down the aisle. Geoff Penzer: It’s Hadley Herrera! The Flashpoint GM is walking to the ring with purpose! Once Hadey gets to ringside, she checks in on Peaches before turning to see her brother still trapped in the C3A! De Luca looks out towards Hadley and taunts her before repeatedly yanking back on Herrera’s arm. Geoff Penzer: Dan Herrera is trying to hang on! Hadley is right there for support! But what can he do? He can drag The Chaotics to the ropes, can he? De Luca continues to yank on the arm when Hadley slowly climbs up onto the apron. The ref quickly gets up and heads over to tell the Flashpoint GM she needs to get down. But Hadley isn’t paying any attention to the official. A look of sorrow is painted on her face as she watches her brother be helplessly trapped in the submission. Hadley puts her hands on her head before burying her face in her hands. She looks back over at Herrera, who is barely hanging on. A tear rolls down her face before telling the ref to ring the bell. The official asks her if she wants to do this. Hadley feverishly motions for the ref to ring the bell. The crowd murmurs as official follows Hadley’s orders and rings the bell. Geoff Penzer: ... Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners and STILL the FGA World Tag Team Champions, THE CHAOTICS! A strong mixed reaction echoes through the arena as “Deadcruiser” blasts over the PA. The referee hands The Chaotics their World Tag Title title belts back. Meanwhile, Hadley rushes over and checks on Dan. Geoff Penzer: The Chaotics have once again successfully retained their World Tag Team Championship! They’ve defeated The Dogs of War and the Polychromatics! They beat Smart Style in the 2 out of 3 Falls! They defeated Ashley Sullivan and Antoinette Sands of AAA! Now they’ve beaten the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad here again… and have sent Hadley Herrera to the unemployment line. While Hadley continues to check on Dan, Alexander heads to the outside. De Luca goes to step through the ropes, only to step back in. Alexander waves for De Luca to come to the outside. But De Luca puts a finger up to tell him to hold on. She makes her way over to Hadley and crouches down next to her. When Hadley turns to look at her, De Luca waves goodbye, which results in boos from the crowd. Geoff Penzer: Really, Ashlyn? De Luca rolls to the outside and marches up the ramp with her title held high in the air. Alexander looks back at the ring before turning and heading up the ramp a few paces behind his partner...

Our scene cuts to a dark room. In front of a black wall is a cold steel table with a black chair. A pair of footsteps can be heard in the distance. The footsteps get louder as the individual they belong to gets closer. Into the frame walks International Heavyweight Champion Chandler Scott. Any semblance of confidence is missing from the DNA of FGA. Scott is wearing a black leather jacket a white V shirt underneath, distressed jeans and a pair of black and white chucks. The IHC hangs from his left hand. The FGAce places the championship down on the table before plopping himself down in the seat. A camera cuts switches to a close up of Chandler. His face is still marked from the Violent Gospel that he received days before. An annoyed Chandler runs his hand through his hair before turning his attention to an interview off camera. The scene fades to black before the following bolded white text appears on the screen. Can you explain what happened at Winter Frontier? Fade In. Chandler Scott: Well what is there to explain? You were there. You saw what happened? Fade Out. Fade In. Scott presses his tongue against his cheek. A disgusted headshake follows. He got caught. He got caught in front of the whole world. There wasn’t a thing that he could say or do to erase that fact. Chandler turns his attention back to the individual off screen. Chandler Scott: I would love to sit here and tell you that what happened at Winter Frontier was a fluke. I wish I could sit here and tell you that the result of that main event could only be contributed to luck. It would be easy for me to make excuses and talk about how it wasn't one on one... there were multiple moving parts... etcetera, etcetera. But Chandler Scott isn't in the business of telling tales. Chandler Scott is in the business of telling the truth. The truth of the matter is... James Edwards beat me. No ifs, ands or buts about it. There isn't anything disputed about it. There was nothing controversial that transpired. James Edwards pinned me, clean as a sheet, with everyone watching. Fade Out. This wasn't your first time being on the receiving end of the Violent Gospel, was it? Fade In. A light smirk creeps out of the corner of his mouth. An eyeroll follows. Chandler sits as he leans back in the chair. He gives a light head shake as he recalls the events from this past Summer. Chandler Scott: ... no. No it was not. When he hit me with it the first time... it was… Chandler tries to put it into words what it felt like. Chandler’s been doing this for a number of years now. He’s been popped in the mouth before. He’s been hit hard by people of all shapes and sizes. But it was something about Edwards’ kick. The technique he used. The angle in which he threw his foot. He never felt anything like it before. Chandler Scott: ... it hurt like hell. It definitely hurt like hell. And I was out cold. Like... *snaps fingers*Chandler Scott: It was that fast. You know, when he hit it the first time, my body rolled over and my foot just happened to end up underneath the bottom rope. I didn't make a conscious decision to go for a rope break because I wasn't conscious at all. In the end, I won that Fatal 4-Way based on pure skill. But I survived the Violent Gospel by sheer luck. Had my foot never ended up under the bottom rope, the roles may have ended up reversed. It could be James Edwards sitting here right now with the International Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder. Another small smirk creeps out of the corner of Chandler’s mouth when he turns back to the interview. Chandler Scott: ... But he's not. Fade Out. Why don't you respect James Edwards? Fade In. A small “hmpf” escapes Chandler’s nose. Chandler Scott: That's just the thing. I do respect James Edwards. I actually do. I respect him as a wrestler. He's a skilled professional inside the squared circle. He isn't like a lot of his peers, who are more focused on participating in the Twitter Thot-a-thon instead winning matches and championships. So he's got that going for him. I would never doubt his abilities. There is a reason that Edwards is in high demand and that's because he's an athlete of a certain caliber. I held him in high regard before I ever felt the first Violent Gospel. I hold him in even higher regard after what happened at Final Frontier. As far as I'm concerned, I've always respected James Edwards as a wrestler. Chandler let’s the line linger before continuing with the following. Chandler Scott: ... I just didn't respect him as a person. I don't like the way he acts. I don't like the way he carries himself. I don't like his "Woe is Me" attitude. I don't like this sense of entitlement he exudes. And I definitely don't like the way the name "Chandler Scott" comes out of his mouth since it's usually followed with disrespect. Fade Out. If you respect James, why didn't you shake his hand? Fade In. Chandler scoffs at the idea. Chandler Scott: The reason that I didn't shake his hand is because it wasn't genuine. James never showed me respect because he liked me. He showed me respect because he wanted something from me. He didn't extend his hand out of the kindness and goodness of his heart. He did it because he wanted something from me. To get respect you must give respect and from the word go, he's been talking out of the side of his neck when it comes to me. See, James is the type of guy that thinks he can walk around here, give everyone that world famous pissy attitude of his and everyone just has to accept it. Yet the moment you give him attitude in return, oh now there's a problem. Oh now he wants to clutch his pearls and act offended. Like I said, I respect James the wrestler. But James the person? He can take those Carmex deprived lips and kiss my ass. Fade Out. Are you afraid of James Edwards? Fade In. Chandler Scott: Am I afraid of james Edwards? Hmm. Chandler narrows his eyes as he slyly looks off to the side. He turns back to the off screen interviewer. Chandler Scott: ... no. No I'm not. I'm not afraid of any man that walks through that curtain. I'm not afraid of any man, or woman for that matter, that I look across the ring at. James Edwards doesn't instill fear in me. But he gives me pause, absolutely. I feel like James thinks that I'm looking past him when nothing can be further from the truth. Like I said before, James is a man of many talents. He's a very good striker. I know that better than most here. He's great with his hands and feet. But I feel as though he’s underrated when it comes to his mat game. He can throw multiple suplexes at you. You look at him and just on the surface, he's unassuming. You wouldn't think that someone of his height and stature would be cable of possessing such power. One look at James and you wouldn't think he would be capable of flinging you around the ring. But James Edwards is a very dangerous man inside that ring. James might feel like I think this match is going to be some kind of cakewalk. But I'm not delusional. I know that Edwards is going to hit me with everything he's got. I know he's been waiting for this moment for months. James Edwards is going to give me the fight of his life. Which means, of course, that I have to bust my ass if I have any chance of beating his. Fade Out. What will happen if you lose tonight? Fade In. Chandler Scott: What will happen? I'm not exactly sure. Will we even still have a GM on Flashpoint? I don't know. I'd like to think that if I lost, I’d be right back in the mix. But if the powers that be feel that I have to restart all the way at the back of the line, so be it. It took three long years to get a championship of this level back around my waist here in FGA. I didn't shy away from putting in the hard work then and I won't now should I lose tonight. Fade Out. Will you shake his hand if he beats you? Fade In. Chandler Scott: Absolutely not. I will do no such thing. Johnny Karma beat me consistently over the course of several high profile matches. I never gave that man any backhanded compliments. I never tried to sneak diss him. I gave him his credit in front of this camera and out there in that ring. Time after time, I commended him on a job well done. Yet what did that get me, ultimately? A couple of words from Cherry Baum and you saw just how quickly Johnny Karma's attitude switched. All those months of "good job" and "congratulations" meant absolutely nothing in the end. I've learned my lesson. If James is able to beat me tonight? Then good for him. But he won't get any “congratulations” out of me. He won't get a handshake from me. Absolutely not. Fade Out. Any last words? Fade In. Chandler Scott: James. I know you're watching. I'm sure you feel good about what happened just a few short days ago at Winter Frontier. People can say they jumped me from behind. People can say that they've attacked me outside the ring. But few and far between can say that they've knocked me out and beaten me in the center of that ring, be it here or elsewhere. That's something you should cherish dearly. And I'm sure that at some point down the road, when you settle down and have a family, you'll be able to tell them that daddy beat Chandler Scott in the middle of the ring. But you want to know what you're going to say right after that? "... Damn, if only the title was on the line."Chandler takes the International Heavyweight Championship off the table and places it across his shoulder. Chandler Scott: ... because let me tell you something, James, this right here? This stays with me. You've had your fun. You got your payback. But the buck stops here. This story doesn't end with you walking out of MSG the new International Heavyweight Championship. It ends with you leaving with the same thing you came in with: nothing. James, I have the champion's advantage. Which means that as soon as that bell sounds, I can roll out of the ring, sprint to the back and intentionally get myself counted out. As soon as the bell rings, I can walk over to the ref and hit him to cause a DQ. But I'm not going to do that. It would have been easy for me to make a phone call or two to a certain someone over at Underground to make sure that you never even made it to NYC. After all, you yourself said that you weren't above attacking me both inside and outside of the ring. But I didn't go that route, either. Why? I'll tell you exactly what I told Karma. I want to leave no doubt whatsoever as to who the better wrestler is between you and I. You want to be the better man? Go right ahead. I’m not running for politics, so you can go ahead and have that. But who is the better wrestler between the two of us? Well that title will belong to me when I put you down tonight. No interference. No foreign objects. No low blows. No gimmicks. Just me, my mind and my physical abilities because that is all I need to beat you. You're a tough s.o.b. I'll give you that. You pack one hell of a kick, too. But tell me, James, how are you going to hit a Violent Gospel when you can't run? How are you going to hit a Violent Gospel when you can't walk? How are you going to hit a Violent Gospel when you are trapped in the center of the ring inside the Scott Lock? That's what lies on you future. Or maybe I'll dropped you on your head with a DNA Driver. Or maybe I'll just knock you out with the Roaring Hammer. Or maybe, just maybe, I'll pull out the Burning Hammer to stop the Burning Heart. I've got options at my disposal, James, and they all lead to the same result. When it's all said and done, every head will bow and every tongue will confess that Chandler... Reigns... Supreme.

INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP © Chandler Scott vs. James Edwards The house lights go down, and the arena stays black during the garbled opening guitar rift, then, "Okay." Strobe lights move with the easy beat of the song. James appears at the top of the ramp with the hood on his ring jacket up. He takes a few moments survey everything before him. The hood goes down with the opening lyrics. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, the challenger! From Lexington, Kentucky! Weighing in at 204 pounds! He is “The Burning Heart” JAAAAAMESSS EDDDDDWAAAARRRRDSSSSS!!! Moving with the meandering pace of the music, his eyes never leave the ring. He laps the squared circle, slides under the bottom ropes, and bows martial arts style to all four corners before settling into his own. Geoff Penzer: This is the biggest night in James Edwards’ career here in FGA! This is what he’s been fighting for! This is his opening! Can he take it and become the next International Heavyweight Champion!? If he hits the Violent Gospel, he absolutely will! The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Gold lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott pushes through the curtain to a loud ovation from the crowd. Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, from Westwood, Massachusetts! Weighing in at 226 pounds! He is the reigning and defending International Heavyweight Champion… CHAAAANDLERRRRRR SCOTTTTTT!!! Chandler swings his International Heavyweight Championship across his shoulder before making his way down the aisle. After slapping hands with one or two lucky fans, he leaps onto the apron and enters through the ropes. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while he slowly raises the International Heavyweight Championship with one arm. When the chorus ends, Chandler hops off the middle ropes, turns and lands on his feet. Chandler holds the championship in his hands before slapping the center plate and handing it over to the referee. His theme music dies down while he waits the opening bell. Geoff Penzer: There is no love lost here between these two. The issues between these two gentlemen dates all the way back towards this summer and the apparent disrespect that Scott felt from Edwards. That disrespect was returned in kind by the current International Heavyweight Champion. Scott might feel he has the advantage going into this match. He certainly talks a big game. But he knows just how lethal the Violent Gospel is. He’s been knocked out twice by it. If Edwards hits it a third time, then we will be looking at a new International Heavyweight Champion here on Flashpoint. The bell sounds as Scott and Edwards face off in the center of the ring. The capacity crowd chants for both grapplers as they stare each other down. LET’S GO, CHANDLER! LET’S GO, EDWARDS!
LET’S GO, CHANDLER! LET’S GO, EDWARDS!
LET’S GO, CHANDLER! LET’S GO, EDWARDS!
LET’S GO, CHANDLER! LET’S GO, EDWARDS! Geoff Penzer: This capacity crowd is solidly behind The Burning Heart here tonight while the crowd has grown more and more frustrated with Chandler and his actions in recent weeks. Scott narrows his eyes at Edwards as he begins to notice the switch from the crowd. The crowd “OOOOOOOH”s when Scott shoves Edwards. The crowd explodes with cheers when Edwards drops Scott with a right cross to the face! Scott gets back to his feet, oyyl to get dropped back down to the mat with another right hand. When Scott gets back up, the crowd cheers and gasps when Edwards throws out the Double Tap (consecutive spinning backfists). But Scott is able to duck the first blow and scurries to safety. Geoff Penzer: Scott nearly got! Scott heads back over to Edwards and shoves him again. The crowd explodes with cheers when Edwards shoves Scott down to the mat. Geoff Penzer: Scott is desperately trying to get into the head of James Edwards. But judging by what Edwards said earlier tonight, I’m not sure it’s a wise idea by Scott to try and antagonize him any more than he already has. When Scott gets back to his feet, he slaps Edwards across the face! Geoff Penzer: Uh oh... Boos can be heard when Scott flips off Edwards. The boos quickly turn back to cheers when Edwards reaches out, grabs Scott’s middle finger with his left hand and bends it back! Scott howls in pain before Edwards unleashes a flurry of right hands to the face! He then takes Scott and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, Edwards throws him down with a release northern lights suplex! The Burning Heart pulls Scott back up, doubles him over with multiple knees to the midsection, lifts the arms and throws him down with a butterfly suplex! Edwards goes over, pulls Scott back up and whips him into the ropes. When Scott returns, he sees Edwards setting up for a back body drop. So he stops and knocks Edwards upright with a kick to the face. The crowd gasps when Scott goes to throw out the Roaring Hammer (discus Polish Hammer)! But Edwards ducks, quickly grabs Scott around the waist and dumps him on his head with a high-angle Backdrop Suplex! After pulling Scott up into a seated position, the crowd gasps, then cheers. They quickly recognize what’s about to come. Geoff Penzer: Violent Gospel time! Edwards has Scott set up for it! Edwards turns and takes off into the ropes. When Edwards returns, the crowd gasps when Edwards goes to kick Scott’s head off his shoulder and up towards the top of the ramp with the Violent Gospel (Running PK)!!! … but Scott barely rolls out of the way. Boos can be heard as Scott rolls to the outside. Geoff Penzer: Scott is one again retreating to safety! The International Heavyweight Champion tries to take a breather. But Edwards is hot on his trail as he rolls to the outside. Scott then takes off around the ring. Edwards proceeds to go right after him. Once he rounds two ring posts, Scott rolls back inside. When Edwards rolls back in, Scott goes for an elbow drop. But Edwards knows it coming and quickly slips back out, causing Scott to hit nothing but canvas. When Scott gets back to his feet, Edwards yanks him down by the ankle before dragging him to the outside. Edwards doubles Scott over before whipping him hard against the guardrail. He then takes Scott and whips him hard against the side of the ring! The Burning Heart takes Scott and flings him back against the guardrail. Scott gets grabbed before getting flung back against the side of ring! The Burning Heart delivers right hands to the midsection that double Scott over. He then takes Scott and whips him down ringside. The fans nearby jump back when Scott crashes against the guardrail. The Burning Heart lines him up before running down ringside and connecting with a lariat that knocks him over the guardrail and into the crowd! Edwards climbs over the guardrail to attack Scott!!! Geoff Penzer: Edwards is going after Scott! They’re fighting through the crowd now! Edwards picks up Scott and knocks him through the crowd with a right hand to the face. The Burning Heart stalks Scott, turns him around and socks with another right hand! Scott staggers through the crowd. Edwards then grabs Scott from behind, runs and chucks him over the guardrail and back to ringside. Edwards climbs over the rail before putting the boots to Scott. The Burning Heart reaches down, picks up the champion, marches down ringside and slams him face-first onto the top of the steel steps. He pulls Scott’s head back before slamming him face-first into the ring post. Scott’s face bounces off the post before he continues to stagger across ringside. Geoff Penzer: Edwards is having his way with the champion. I knew it wasn’t a good idea for Scott to try and tick Edwards off again! Edwards grabs Scott from behind and rolls him back inside. Edwards rolls back in, grabs Scott, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Scott around, a loud thud can be heard throughout the arena when Edwards blasts Scott with a knife edge chop. Edwards pulls his arm back before firing off another blistering knife edge chop! Scott yelps when Edwards fires off another knife edge chop! The Burning Heart measures Scott before delivering another stinging chop that echoes throughout the arena! Scott crosses his arms across his chest to guard it. But this doesn’t stop Edwards. The Burning Heart pulls Scott down before doubling him over with another thunderous chop! Edwards lifts up Scott’s chin before whacking him with yet another knife edge chop! Scott staggers through the corner and into the adjacent corner. But Edwards stays right on him. He turns Scott around and doubles Scott over with another blistering chop! When Edwards lifts up Scott by the chin, several welts can be seen across Scott’s chest from the chops. Geoff Penzer: Scott’s chest has been beat red and raw from all those chops! My goodness! Edwards takes Scott and whips him into the opposite corner. The Burning Heart runs across the ring to follow up with an attack when Scott counters with a back elbow. He then switches positions with Edwards before connecting with a European Uppercut. Scott then takes Edwards and goes for an irish whip. But Edwards reverses, sending Scott hard towards the corner. The crowd cheers when Scott crashes sternum-first into the turnbuckles. As Scott stumbles back, Edwards grabs him from behind and motions for a German Suplex. Scott senses it coming, so he counters with a back elbows. After performing a standing switch, he shoves Edwards off into the ropes and throws out a Pinpoint Dropkick. But he does so too early, which allows Edwards to hang onto the ropes. After Scott lands on his back, he start to get up off the canvas. The crowd gasps and cheers when Edwards darts over and throws out the Violent Gospel!!! Geoff Penzer: There it is! VIOLENT GOSPEL! ...but once again, Scott is able to avoid the kick in the nick of time. Edwards marches over towards Scott when Scott hits him with a kick to the midsection. He then takes Edwards and goes for an irish whip. But again, Edwards reverses, sending Scott into the corner. Edwards rushes in to attack when Scott counters with a boot to the face. He then doubles Edwards over with a boot to the midsection before delivering a double underhook suplexes into the turnbuckles! Geoff Penzer: That match may have just turned the tide for Scott. Edwards rolls away from the corner while Scott gets up. The DNA of FGA makes his way over towards Edwards before putting the boots to him. He reaches down, picks up Edwards, scoops him up from the side and delivers a pendulum backbreaker. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards kicks out. Scott pulls up Edwards, scoops him up and delivers a rib breaker. He reaches back down, pulls up Edwards and delivers a snap suplex. Scott turns over into a lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards kicks out. Scott picks up Edwards and whips him into the ropes. When Edwards returns, Scott throws out a clothesline. Edwards ducks before continuing to run the ropes. When Edwards comes back, Scott throws out a back elbow to the face. But again, Edwards ducks before heading into the ropes. When Edwards returns, Scott throws him down with a tilt-a-whirl sideslam! He hooks the near leg for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Scott’s taking control of this match after Edwards spent the opening minutes beating him around everywhere inside and around the ring. Scott picks up Edwards and moves him into the corner. After doubling Edwards over with a hard punch to the midsection, Scott lifts his chin up before rocking him with a European Uppercut. Scott nails Edwards with another hard European Uppercut. Then a third. He then takes Edwards, moves him out of the corner and whips him into the far ropes. When Edwards returns, Scott sends him flipping down to the mat with a kitchen sink. As Edwards sits up, Scott turns and heads into the ropes. When Scott returns, he tries to add insult to injury by delivering the Violent Gospel. The crowd cheers when Edwards reaches up and blocks the move! Scott’s eyes widen as Edwards slowly returns to a vertical base. He then swings the leg away from him, grabs Scott around the waist, lifts him up and throws him down with a Sambo Suplex! The cheers continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Scott gets his shoulder up. Edwards picks up Scott and knocks him backwards with a forearm strike to the face. Another forearm knocks Scott back into the ropes. Scott tries to shake out the cobwebs when Edwards comes cover and cracks him with a headbutt. He then takes the champion and whips him into the far ropes. When Scott returns, Edwards scoops him up across his shoulders for a fireman’s carry neckbreaker. But Scott is able to block with multiple elbows to the side of the head. After slipping down from behind, Scott shoves Edwards off into the ropes. When Edwards returns, he throws Scott down with a running STO! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Scott gets his shoulder up. Edwards takes Scott and turns him into a front facelock. When Scott tries to get back to a vertical base, Edwards gator rolls to his right and brings Scott back down. After collecting himself on the mat, Scott tries to get back to his feet. This time, Edwards brings him back down to the mat with a gator roll to his left. The Burning Heart slowly brings Scott back up before sending him back down to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Scott gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Yet another nearfall for Edwards. Scott was able to break up the momentum and take control of this match. But Edwards was able to snatch the match right back from him. Edwards sits Scott up and applies a neck crank. The ref gets down and asks Scott if he wants to give up. When Scott refuses, Edwards lets go, steps back and blasts Scott in the spine with a soccer kick! While Scott arches his back, Edwards reaches back down and applies another neck crank. The ref continues to check in with Scott and asks him if he wants to quit. But the champ refuses. So Edwards pulls Scott back down to the mat and transitions into a North and South Choke. The ref shifts over and asks Scott if he wants to give up. Once again, Scott refuses. Edwards begins to really cinch in the hold. Geoff Penzer: Edwards is wearing the champion down. Once Edwards gets Scott right where he wants him, that will leave the champ open for the Violent Gospel. Once Edwards feels that he’s got Scott worn down enough, he pulls him up to a seated position before heading into the ropes. When Edwards returns, the crowd gasps and cheers when he throws out the Violent Gospel! But Scott is able to wrap his arms around Edwards’ leg to block it. Edwards tries to pull his leg away from Scott. But Scott’s holding on for dear life. So Edwards reaches down and bashes Scott in the head with hammer fists! Edwards continues to rain down hammer fists to Scott until Scott lets go. Once Edwards is free he quickly steps back before throwing out the Violent Gospel! But Scott leans back out of the way to avoid the kick. He quickly reaches back up and pulls Edwards down into a schoolboy. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards kicks out and quickly transitions into a Crossface. The crowd cheers as Edwards pulls back on the hold. Geoff Penzer: Smooth transition from the Burning Heart! Scott can be heard groaning in pain while Edwards pulls back on the hold. The ref goes over and asks Scott if he wants to give up. But once again, Scott refuses. Due to their positioning in the ring, Scott pulls himself forward slightly before reaching out and grabbing the bottom rope. The ref gives Edwards until the count of five to break the hold. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Edwards reluctantly lets go. While Scott is up on a knee, Edwards heads over and delivers multiple knee strikes to the side of the head. The Burning Heart pulls Scott back to his feet and delivers a pointed elbow strike across the back of the neck. The strike drops Scott down to a knee. Edwards pulls him back up and drops him back down to a knee after a clubbing strike to the back of the head. He then pulls Scott back up from behind and goes for a German Suplex. But Scott is quick to wrap his arms around the top rope. Edwards repeatedly tries to yank Scott off the ropes. But Scott is hanging on for dear life. Once again, the ref gives Edwards until the count of five. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Edwards lets go. The ref instructs Edwards to step back while he checks on the champion. After getting the go ahead from the ref to continue, Edwards heads back over towards Scott. The International Heavyweight Champion delivers quick back kick to Edwards’ knee. Scott then turns around and nails Edwards with a front kick to the knee, which causes the Burning Heart to stumble back. Scott heads over and throws out another kick to the knee. This time, Edwards catches Scott’s foot. Scott goes to counter with an enzuigiri. But Edwards ducks the kick. He then reaches down, pulls up Scott by the back of his tights and throws him down with a German Suplex! But Edwards doesn’t let go! He rolls over, pulls Scott back to his feet and delivers a second German. Again, Edwards doesn’t let go. The Burning Heart rolls over, pulls Scott back to his feet and delivers a third Rolling German! Edwards still doesn’t let go! He turns over, pulls Scott up, turns the champion around and lifts him up across his shoulders. Edwards follows up with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker! The cheers continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Scott gets his shoulder up. Edwards slowly pulls Scott up… before quickly applying a standing arm triangle choke. The cheers continue while Edwards tries to choke out the champion! He then quickly lets go, doubles Scott over with a knee to the midsection, lifts him up and plants him with the Foxfire (Fisherman Brainbuster)! Edwards then heads towards the side of the ring before stepping out onto the apron. The challenger walks along the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. Fans in the front row stand up while Edwards gauges the distance between himself and Scott. The Burning Heart leaps off… and connects with a diving headbutt to an explosion of cheers! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Scott gets his shoulder up. Edwards makes another cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Scott gets his shoulder up. Edwards with another lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Scott gets his shoulder up. A frustrated Edwards slaps the canvas before stepping out onto the apron. While Edwards goes to climb the turnbuckles, Scott scrambles back to his feet, rushes into the corner and runs up the turnbuckles. The crowd gasps when he grabs Edwards for a superplex. But Edwards blocks it. Scott then tries to muscle Edwards up for another superplex. But again, Edwards blocks it. The Burning Heart then punches Scott repeatedly in the midsection. Once Scott lets go of him, Edwards shoves Scott off the middle ropes and down to the mat. Edwards steps up onto the top turnbuckle as Scott is sprawled out on the mat. He leaps off the top turnbuckle for another diving headbutt. This time, Scott rolls out of the way. The crowd gasps when Edwards crashes face-first onto the mat! Geoff Penzer: The high risk doesn't pay off for James Edwards! Scott pushes Edwards over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards kicks out. Scott picks up Edwards and whips him into the ropes. When Edwards returns, Scott spikes him with a Frankensteiner. He turns over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards gets his shoulder up. Scott picks up Edwards and brings him down with a snapmare before following up with a rolling neck snap. He then gets to his feet before heading into the ropes. When Scott returns, he delivers a jumping knee drop (with mid-air gesture)! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards gets his shoulder up. Scott picks up Edwards and whips him into the ropes. When Edwards returns, Scott knocks him down with a pop-up European Uppercut! He pulls Edwards back up, lifts him up and delivers a Shotgun Stunner! After pulling Edwards up into a seated position, Scott turns and heads into the ropes. When he returns, he flattens Edwards with a Sliding D! Scott pulls him back up into a seated position before running back into the far ropes. When he returns, he flattens Edwards with a second Sliding D! Scott pulls Edwards up once more before taking off into the ropes. When Scott returns, boos are heard when he flattens Edwards with a third Sliding D! He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards gets his shoulder up. Scott makes another lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards gets his shoulder up. Scott makes the cover and hooks the leg… ONE! . . TWO! . . Edwards gets his shoulder up. Frustrated, Scott pulls up Edwards, runs and tosses him through the ropes and out onto the apron. Scott steps out onto the apron before putting the boots to the challenger. He then steps back on the apron and starts to wave Edwards up. Once the Burning Heart picks himself back up, Scott runs over and throws him down with a Sling Blade on the apron! Geoff Penzer: Edwards falls back-first onto the apron! Edwards slowly falls off the apron before hitting the floor. Edwards writhes in pain on the floor before trying to push himself back up. Scott can be seen stalking the Burning Heart from behind. Once Edwards slowly picks himself back up, Scott runs up from behind and drives Edwards down with a reverse Sling Blade! Scott picks up Edwards and rolls him back inside. He then slides back in, drags Edwards away from the ropes and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Edwards gets his shoulder up. Scott picks up Edwards and whips him into the corner. The DNA of FGA rushes over before clobbering Edwards with a running European Uppercut! Scott then takes Edwards and whips him into the far corner. He then runs across the ring, leaps up and bashes Edwards with a flying corner elbow smash! Scott pulls Edwards from out of the corner before whipping him into the far ropes. When Edwards returns, Scott knocks him off his feet with a Pinpoint Dropkick (high angle dropkick to the face)! Geoff Penzer: Perfectly placed dropkick from Chandler Scott! Scott steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle He crouches down while he waits impatiently for Edwards to get back up. Edwards begins to stir on the canvas before turning himself over on all fours. Once Edwards gets back to his feet and turns around, Scott stands up and goes for a Frog Splash Crossbody. The crowd explodes with cheers when Edwards counters into a snap powerslam! Edwards stays on his knees before falling down across Scott for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! Scott gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Oh, Edwards nearly had him! Edwards slowly pulls up Scott. He tries to position Scott for an Ace Crusher when Scott shoves him off into the ropes. When Edwards returns, he drives Edwards down with a leaping double foot stomp! The Burning Heart pulls Scott back up, lifts him up before behind and throws him down with a belly to back gourdbuster! Edwards turns over and hooks the leg… ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! Scott gets his shoulder up. Edwards picks up Scott and goes for a German Suplex. But Scott counters with a wheelbarrow victory roll. Instead of staying seated for the cover, Scott stands up and turns around. The crowd gasps when Scott tries to put Edwards in the Scott Lock. But Edwards uses the strength in his legs to shove Scott back, sending the champion crashing back-first into the corner. After Edwards returns to his feet, he rushes over to attack when Scott counters with a European Uppercut. He then turns Edwards around, hoists him up onto the top turnbuckle, turns and places him in a three quarter facelock. Scott takes a few steps away from the corner. He’s got Edwards set up for the Mass Spike (top rope-hung Cutter). But before he can deliver the move, Edwards breaks free, grabs Scott from behind and throws him into the turnbuckles with a release reverse exploder suplex! Scott slowly rolls himself out onto the apron while Edwards slowly turns over onto a knee. Once he gets to his feet, the Burning Heart steps out onto the apron. He slowly picks up Scott and applies a half nelson from behind. The crowd gasps and cheers when Edwards tries to hurl Scott off the apron wit the Half Cut (half nelson suplex). But Scott wraps his free arm around the top rope to block the move. Edwards repeatedly tries to yank Scott from off the ropes. But it’s to no avail. So Edwards lets go and nails Scott with a hard kidney punch. Edwards delivers another kidney punch that hurts the champion. Scott pulls back on the leg while Edwards continues to howl in pain. The ref checks back in with Edwards to ask if he wants to quit. Once again, Edwards refuses. Scott takes the title belt from the referee before raising it in the air to boos from the crowd. Geoff Penzer: Chandler Scott comes away with the win over James Edwards. Rather, I should say Chandler Scott survived James Edwards because The Burning Heart beat the holy hell out of him in there. Scott was able to attack the knee at several points and when he got the Scott Lock locked on, he wasn’t letting go under any circumstances until the match was over! Scott gets to retain his championship. But you can’t help but give James Edwards a round of applause after the effort he put forth in this match. He would not give up. He wouldn’t not quit. He didn’t quit! [ FADE OUT ]

CO-MAIN EVENT FGA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP © Jimmy Page vs. Kol J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for ONE fall and it is for the FGA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! "Tear Away" by Drowning Pool plays throughout the arena as the audience boos loudly! Once the beat kicks in, the man formerly known as Colton Sterling steps out from behind the curtain, a smirk on his face as he looks out at the audience. He listens to them boo him before he nods and begins to make his way down to the ring. J.A. Aldridge: Introducing first, the challenger! From Buffalo, New York! Weighing in at 233 pounds… KOOOLLLLLL!!! Kol doesn't pay attention to any of the fans as he makes it to ringside before he slowly circles the ring, keeping his eyes locked on the squared circle. Once he's circled the ring fully, Kol hops on the apron and wipes his feet on it before entering the ring. The New Yorker then finds the nearest corner and climbs to the middle turnbuckle, a small smile appearing on his face as he raises his hands up to some boos. Kol hops off and removes his jacket, tossing it out of the ring. He then slowly makes it to his corner and stretches there as he waits for the match to start Kris Cruise: Kol earned this match by winning that battle royal several weeks backs. After starting this year off slow, Kol has turned his year around and has picked up key victories along the way. He’s even beaten the man that he’s about to be standing across the ring from in just a few seconds. Can Kol get the big win here tonight in his home state to become the new FGA World Champion? Stephy Auger: If there’s any justice in this world, yes! A song crashes into the P.A. system that sounds of static and a guitar. The lights begin to flash a violent red frantically. As the song "Murdered Out" by Kim Gordon really kicks in, the lights continue to flash red. A silhouette appears at the entrance. With a controlled stagger, Jimmy Page comes from the back, head down and arms out from his sides. Page swaggers down to the ring in at a methodical pace. The camera gets a close up of his hair covered face as he makes his way down the aisle. He stops at the top of the ramp, flinging his hair from his eyes and glaring around, chewing on a piece of gum. Through the static red, a spotlight follows Page as he makes his way to the front of the ring. J.A. Aldridge: Introducing his opponent, from Flint, Michigan! Weighing in at 237 pounds! He is the reigning… defending… FGA World Champion! He is “The King of the F’N World”, JIIIMMYYYYYY PAAAAAAAAAAGE!!! He takes a running start, sliding on top of the apron. He stands, gets in the ring, then climbs on top of the turnbuckle. Page spits his gum outside of the ring, into the crowd. Jimmy leaps down from the turnbuckle, and begins to slither down into a seat on the lower turnbuckle; Placing his head against the middle turnbuckle, knocking the back of it against the corner gently as he awaits the bell. Kris Cruise: Page went to hell and back, both professionally and personally, to become FGA World Champion again! It’s been a long three years, Stephy, but he’s finally got the gold again! He was able to win this year’s Gold Rush Rumble to earn his championship match. But that bout quickly turned into a Triple Threat with the inclusion of Johnny Karma after Evan Envi screwed Karma out of the championship. When Page finally got his one on one shot again Envi at Capital Combat back in September, Page made the most of it and made it back to the top of the mountain! After multiple knee strikes double Page over, Kol takes a few steps back, runs over and rocks him with a running knee lift to the face. Who do you think he’d rather face? Stephy Auger: I don’t think it matters to the Chief. With the emotional support of Good Guy Richard and Natalie McKinley, he can beat anybody. Kris Cruise: You mean with the constant outside interference of them both, he can beat anybody. Stephy Auger: Envi? Having people interfere with his matches? The man would never do such a thing. Kol picks up Page and bashes him with a Bionic Elbow. Another Bionic Elbow knocks Page backwards. As Kol approaches, Page doubles him over with a double chop to the throat. Page collapses to the mat. Seconds of stunned silence ensues. Scott sneers while he stares down at Page before rolling to the outside. The crowd erupts with boos as Scott makes his way back up the ramp. Kris Cruise: What the hell was that for!? Chandler isn’t even on Vertigo! What the hell is the matter with him! Stephy Auger: Why are you complaining about what just happened? This is great! Back inside, Page starts to stir on the canvas. He slowly pushes himself up on all fours before slowly pulling himself up using the ropes. Before Page can turn around, Kol drops him from behind with a jumping reverse bulldog! Kol leans back in the corner while he frantically waves up Page. Page starts to turn over on all fours. As a groggy Page tries to pick himself up, Kol charges from out of the corner and nearly knocks his head off with a bicycle kick to the side of the head! The boos continue as he reaches down, pulls up Page and places him in an inverted facelock. Kol quickly brings him down with the Kol Kutter (rolling cutter)! Kol makes the cover. The ref stirs on the mat before rolling over onto his stomach. He looks over and sees Kol making the cover. So he starts his count. ONE! . . . Kris Cruise: No... . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . Kris Cruise: Not like this. Not like this! . . . . . . . THREE! The crowd erupts with boos as “Tear Away” blares throughout the arena. J.A. Aldridge: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this bout… aaaand NEEEWWWWWWW FGA World Champion, KOL! The boos continue as Kol takes the FGA World Champion before raising it above his head.
