CHARACTER BACKGROUND
PERSONALITY:
Stoic and stone-faced, Majima doesn't speak much - but when he does, who he is speaking to had better listen
STRENGTHS:
1. Heavy hitter - Majima's strike power is unmatched
2. Agility - despite his size, Majima can move around the ring like someone 30lbs lighter than he is
3. Bullet point - Majima can stop his opponents dead in their tracks with his offence
WEAKNESSES:
1. Pride – Majima’s previous lack of success is a sore point for him, which opponents can use
2. Pressure – while he is more than capable of hurting an opponent, Majima has gained a reputation for lacking the killer instinct on the big occasion
3. Lacks subtlety – Majima is superb at decimating opponents with strikes and suplexes, yet he is less effective when a match slows down
TAUNTS/MANNERISMS:
1. Sometimes he will set up to hit a chop, only to fake out the opponent - then hit the chop when their guard is lowered
2. If he's setting up to hit Kurimuzon Kasai on an opponent getting to their feet, he'll flex his fingers before clenching them into a fist as he extends his arm in preparation

BACKGROUND:
ShiMa was initially brought across to North America as an insurance policy for New Wave champion "Smart" Mark Bisley, who saw the value of having a heavy hitter in his corner and was looking to mold Majima into a partner, in early 2012 - but he never had the opportunity to step into the ring, as New Wave went on a long hiatus at this time, and Majima returned to Japan to hone his craft on home soil.
Having worked on his craft for a couple of years, Majima decided he needed to make another American excursion not just to hone his raft by working against different opposition, but to put his mind at rest by proving he could go to North America and compete against all comers, proving himself and righting that past wrong that was out of his control which has nagged at him ever since.
His time in Lions Den was one of unfulfilled promise: even though his matches were regularly a highlight of the shows he competed on, with his hard-hitting style earning him the respect of many of his peers and making him an opponent that many of the roster were wary of facing, on several occasions he had the chance to become a champion yet every time the chance eluded him, and this began to eat at him and give him extra motivation to silence his doubters.
Moving on to 3GW, Majima began to prove his doubters wrong, winning the 15 Championship to claim his first-ever career title, however he came across one particular problem: 3GW president Jordan Cain, who had a vision for 3GW and Majima was not it – and he went to great lengths to not only cost Majima his title, but also prevent him from regaining it.
Having had enough of the machinations of Cain, the closure of 3GW was almost enough to make Majima return home and turn his back on North America for good – but at that moment a voice from the past got in contact, the one person who always had Majima’s back, and that person suggested it was time to put their plan into action once more, and this time their talent would see them reign supreme.

RING ENTRANCE:
As the opening of "There's A Storm Coming" filters through the PA system a combination of gold and reddish-orange lights flicker in the entranceway in sync with the keyboards - until the intro is interrupted by a combination of brooding synths and haunting, almost ethereal vocals that greet Shintaro Majima as he walks through the curtain into the arena, and without a second's hesitation he begins to walk down the ramp towards the ring
Once he reaches ringside Majima climbs the ring steps and steps into the ring, loosening his robe and removing his sunglasses before he walks towards the corner he has decided is his, at which point he removes his robe and places it and his sunglasses in the corner, pausing to wipe the back of each hand in the palm of the other in preparation for what is to follow

Once he reaches ringside Majima climbs the ring steps and steps into the ring, removing his robe and sunglasses before he walks towards the corner he has decided is his, and once he reaches his corner he stands there, wiping the back of each hand in the palm of the other in preparation, before he removes the belt from around his waist and lifts it into the air, maintaining eye contact with his opponent the entire time
