2. Boxing Influenced Striker (Southpaw)
Finishing Moves:
1. Funkensteiner - Springboard Huracanrana. The Funkensteiner range of moves are Cassius’ big signature, and come with a range of variants, each uniquely named. The following variants are the ones so far debuted.

Trademark Moves:
1. Pimp Slap Symposium - Quick Right Handed slap to opponent’s face to get opponent to drop their guard, into a quick Right Jab - Right Jab - Left Hook Boxing Combo, dazing the opponent, and ending with a Michael Jackson style spin straight into a (Left Handed) Spinning Backhand Slap to opponent’s face WITH AUTHORITY.
2. Johnny Cage - Split-Legged Punch (either to a bent over opponent, or as an Illegal Move/Low Blow) (think JCVD in Bloodsport or, you know, Johnny Cage)
3. What Da Funk? - Handstand Handspring Headscissors Takedown or Kip-Up Huracanrana or Skin The Cat Headscissors Takedown (or any similar nonsense you can think of)
4. Pussy On The Chainwax - Corner Springboard Handstand Sunset Flip (example: Super Shisa's SAITO Special V)
5. Funky Knee, Funky Do - Standing Moonsault Knee Drop (example: Frightmare's Kneecolepsy)
6. SWEET CHRISTMAS! - Sunset Flip Powerbomb (Rolling, Springboard, Corner, FROM EVERYWHERE)
7. Death Penalty - Bridging Arm Triangle Choke (Very Rare, pretty much only submission in his arsenal)

ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
Entrance Music:
"You Suck" by Pour Habit
Ring Attire:
Black tights, with white diamonds forming a “ring” around the thigh. White boots with Kick Pads, with a “ring” of black diamonds around the calf, mirroring the thighs. The word “CASSIUS” printed on the front waistband in bold white print. White vambraces, with black diamonds around the forearm. Plain black elbow pad on right elbow. Overall, there’s a heavy “Black Power Ranger” vibe.
Ring Entrance:
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Picbase:
Austin Creed/Xavier Woods
Manager:
N/A, although may be escorted to the ring by Melody Lennox on special occasions.
Gimmick:
70s Blaxploitation-inspired wrestler with an unhealthy dose of Reed Attitude. Arrogant. Loud. You know the drill.
Strengths:
1. Floats Like A Butterfly: Cassius is very light on his feet. He'll bob, he'll weave, he'll matrix, he'll flip, he'll do handstands, he's amazing.
2. Stings Like A Bee: Cassius isn't the most powerful, or heaviest, wrestler, but he's very good at using what he has with his strikes. He has a similar boxing background to his brothers, but with more success, which he uses to great effect giving his punches added power.
3. All About The Show: In the ring, Cassius is as concerned about putting on a show for the fans as he is about winning a match. He tends not to get caught in a rage or anything similar, sometimes frustrating opponents with his antics
4. When In Doubt, Cheat!: Cassius is not only comfortable with cheating to win, he’s also very good at it, and has a full range of classic tricks in his arsenal.
Weaknesses:
1. Bad Elbow: Due to a childhood incident involving his brother, Aries, his right elbow has never quite been the same. By and large it's fine, but if someone targets it...
2. Put On A Show: He's a chronic showboater, and can sometimes get carried away in doing so, leading to his downfall.
3. Double Edged Sword: Cheating. By the law of averages, at some point, he’s gonna get caught, and penalised.
4. Good & He Knows It: Cassius is a gifted wrestler… and he knows it. He’s arrogant, and his confidence often veers into overconfidence.
Taunts/Mannerisms:
1. If he’s managing to outmaneuver/outfight his opponent decisively, he’ll make liberal use of the “Ali Shuffle” to taunt his opponent, typically leading into a high speed combo.
2. With an opponent slumped in the corner, Cassius with run at them at top speed, launching into a handstand just in front of them, before launching back into the ring away from them with a Back Handspring, chastising his opponent for flinching as he lands.
3. Before a match, he may offer his opponent a handshake, especially if he feels they’re green or naïve. He’ll pressure them into accepting if necessary, before pulling his hand away at the last second, running it through his ‘fro as he moonwalks away in a classic “psyche” moment.
4. In action, he’s quite a disrespectful opponent, frequently slapping his opponent away, and talking trash at them throughout. He stalls when he needs to, and tries to work “off the beat”, as it were, to keep his opponent from gauging any kind of attack rhythm.
Bio:
The middle child of the Reed clan. A good few years younger than big brother Darius, but uncomfortably close to younger brother Aries, Cassius has always thought himself better than his lot in life. His whole childhood was spent competing with his younger brother for favour, in school, in Pee Wee leagues, with girls, their childhood was one long feud.
When Aries declared he'd follow Darius into boxing, Cassius stepped straight up too, and found an environment he could excel in. In his own weight category, he outstripped both of his brothers' accomplishments, and when Darius went to prison, Cassius moved away to pursue his boxing career, the only tie keeping him around being severed.
But then Darius came back. Aries reached out to their older brother, and pulled him back into the world of wrestling. And Aries was good at wrestling. Very good.
Cassius couldn't have his little brother outperforming him, now, could he?
So Cassius trained, and trained hard, in secret, to enter their world. Quietly, slowly, he trained, moving up to Canada to do so away from prying eyes. He greased palms. Met people. And finally, he secured a deal with a new, fledgling Lucha organisation, a company he'd heard was soon to make a massive splash, and join up with the companies his brothers worked for. And so he assumed his disguise, that of the Funky Dragon, and started wrestling around Mexico. Building a rep, building a style, and just preparing himself for the day his new contract would put himself back in contact with his brothers.
He's had a rollercoaster of a time so far. He was EXODUS' final Pacific Coast champion before that company closed, and joined HKW briefly, before being sidelined with injury, and opting not to return. He wrestled for PPW consistently since they lifted "the ban", until their legal issues in May 2016. At some point in early 2017, Cassius became the Vice-President of Talent Relations for HKW, a post he relinquished in early 2018 to become more active in the ring. A recent controversial end to his reign as Phoenix Wrestling’s Rebirth Champion has seen him take some time out of competition, the Rey del Aire tournament being his first engagement since that match. Since then, Cassius has become a staple of the FGA scene, but has yet to truly find his place in the company.

It’s not my fault your girlfriend likes me,
I do her hard like fucking warp speed,
Your Dad’s mad, it’s not my fucking fault,
That your Mom wants to fucking fuck me!
As the intro to “You Suck” by Pour Habit blasts throughout the arena, out from the back bursts Cassius Reed! Slowly rotating in his gold lined black ring robe Cassius soaks in the atmosphere for just a moment. Spinning to face the ring, he shadow boxes at the top of the ramp a short time more, before posing, spreading his arms wide, and sprinting down to the ring at full pace!
Announcer: Fighting out of Funkytown, USA, and tipping the scales tonight at 205lbs… CASSIUS! REED!
Sliding in under the bottom rope, he quickly rolls onto his back before kipping up! Giving a quick smirk and raised eyebrow to the referee, he turns and leaps to the top of the nearest turnbuckle, before whipping off his ring robe with a flourish. He poses just a moment at the top of the turnbuckle, smug grin on his face, robe hanging from his hand, before dropping back to the mat, consigning his entrance gear to the outside whilst he finishes warming up for the match with more shadow boxing.
