ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
ENTRANCE MUSIC:
“Deadcruiser” by Kavinsky
RING ATTIRE:
The two wear attire in the style of their typical in-ring gear, but when teaming they strictly wear versions that present a loud, varied, mismatched splash of colors-- otherwise a “chaotic” visual. Though every color is represented on their attire, black-and-blue seem to trim and outline a majority of it.
RING ENTRANCE:
The lights in the arena slowly fade to near-darkness. While this hushes some members of the audience, others grow loud in anticipation. “Deadcruiser” hits the PA system and a silver-blue strobe begins to dance near the top of the ramp, revealing the silhouette of a feminine figure with a hoodie thrown over wrestling gear, marching through the darkness-- drawing a chorus of boos from the live audience, already recognizing the silhouette to be Ashlyn De Luca… but as the camera pans past her, a slightly slower-moving, masculine figure follows, drawing a deep roar from the crowd in contrast.
[RING ANNOUNCER]
As Ashlyn De Luca reaches the bottom of the ramp, the lights fade to normal, revealing the team for the first time. Ashlyn pauses just once to survey the audience while Logan walks to the ring apron, stepping inside. Ashlyn smirks, jawing back at the rowdier fans at ringside, arms open wide as if inviting a strike as she screams back out into the raucous audience. Behind her, Logan mounts the bottom-and-middle ropes, arms held to his side in a similar pose. Ashlyn backs away from the barricade, rolling into the ring beneath the ropes and Logan, hopping to her feet on the opposite side of the ring, screaming out into the other side of the audience as they rise to their feet. Logan drops down from the ropes and bumps forearms with De Luca in the center of the ring as they pass each other, mounting opposite corners to look out into the masses. The Chaotics remove their hoodies, tossing them simultaneously to the floor as their music fades.

TEAM BACKGROUND
TEAM DYNAMIC:
Ambitious student and wise teacher/mentor. While Ashlyn is the more spontaneous and, sometimes, more reckless of the two, a natural balance is brought to Chaotics as Logan Alexander provides a cooler head and more reasonable voice overall-- though both have had significant chapters of their careers defined by controversy and brutality.
STRENGTHS:
1. Familiarity - Known one another and worked closely together since late 2011 and have an understanding of one another’s faults and habits, making it easier to compensate for the other or silently communicate.
2. Variable Offense - Logan and Ashlyn’s strengths lie in different areas. She is more agile and a better striker. He is more technically sound and a good counter wrestler. They know how to mix and match their attacks to keep opponents off balance.
3. Ring Awareness - Both are skilled at using each part of the ring to their advantage within the rules, or even bending them slightly. Prolonging five-counts, ring-escapes, and seamless variations of typical or signature moves are common.
WEAKNESSES:
1. Timing - The two have seemingly adopted different philosophies in and out of the ring since their debut and, as a result, don’t always have the great timing that comes as a result of teammates being on the same wave-length.
2. Brute Strength - The team relies more on skill, speed, and “craft”, meaning they may stumble if put in a position where raw power is suddenly called into question.
3. Ego - Moreso a problem for De Luca-- her ego and bravado sometimes get the better of her, sometimes leading to a lack of focus inside the ring or clouded judgment when analyzing opponents/prepping for matches.
TAUNTS/MANNERISMS:
1. Logan (in his own corner) will simply point a finger gun toward the opponent, allowing Ashlyn to reach in and “pull the trigger” while she calmly voices: ”bang.”
2. See Individual Taunts/Mannerisms

BACKGROUND:
The history of Logan Alexander and Ashlyn De Luca as a pair dates back to the early August of 2011, less than two months after the latter’s high school graduation and while the former was recovering from serious injury. With the money saved from working teenage odd-jobs, De Luca (a longtime wrestling fan and former amateur wrestler in her own right) made the move to Stouffville, Ontario, Canada alongside message-board-pal-turned-friend Josh Polczynic. Ashlyn quickly gravitated toward the teacher (a performer she’d idolized) Logan Alexander. Despite the failings of her colleagues and a few brushes with the law in both Canada and the United States, Ashlyn would eventually “graduate” from the school in January 2013 upon being signed to Phoenix Wrestling after four weeks of tryouts.
Meanwhile, Logan Alexander, who’d returned to wrestling aside friend, colleague, and student Aubrey J. Parker, found monumental success as a tag team with Parker as “M&M.” Working alongside Aubrey in the quest for tag team accolades, Logan still was able to have success in singles competition on either side of their eventual APW Tag Team Championship reign. Despite both being frequently being pitted against one another throughout their tenure, Logan and Aubrey maintained a strong partnership in and out of the ring. During this time, he kept an eye on Ashlyn’s professional advancement but kept his distance so as to avoid stifling her growth and letting her develop to her own kind of wrestler.
Eventually, Logan fell out of touch with Ashlyn while first recovering from injuries in and then later on as his priorities shifted to take on family responsibilities. By this point, Aubrey, after her own incredible wave of success, had stepped in and taken on a mentoring role of her own with Ashlyn. Alongside the likes of Talon Wilkinson and (to a lesser extent) Evan Harrison, Ashlyn worked vigorously and honed her craft, highlighted by championship reigns in PW before her temporary departure from the business beginning in the December of 2014.
De Luca and Alexander remained in contact with Ashlyn resuming the occasional training at his side beginning in December 2016-- with the reason clear several months later as it became apparent that Ashlyn De Luca and Logan Alexander (collectively “Chaotics”) would be entering Frontier Grappling Arts’ third annual Dynamic Duos Tournament. The pair defeated teams such as Tommy Evans/Aurora Jansen and future rivals Smart Style before emerging victorious in the final round over Upper Echelon. Chaotics went onto capture the FGA World Tag Team Championships from Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad at the Six Year Anniversary Show, carrying the titles into the year 2018.
Eventually, the team became involved in a bitter rivalry with Shintaro Majima and Mark Bisley of Smart Style. The latter proved relentless in their attempt to obtain a title shot, going as far as goading the champions by refusing to acknowledge their previous success. Smart Style were eventually successful, capturing the titles at Grapple Kingdom 2. The feud became violent and personal in the two months that followed, though Chaotics were ultimately successful in reclaiming their titles at Only the Strong Survive 2018. During this time, the Vertigo and Flashpoint brands found themselves at war at the behest of their respective General Managers. During the series of battles, the Dogs of War allowed Chaotics and many other of their Flashpoint roster members to be ambushed and attacked by an invading Vertigo brand. Upon GM Hadley Herrera’s planning for retaliation, Chaotics were initially chosen to be team captains of Team Flashpoint for the All Star Showdown confrontation, but after months of perceived disrespect, and the demand that they coexist with the traitorous Dogs of War, Logan opted out, allowing Smart Style to be named team captains instead. Though Team Flashpoint won the match, Logan Alexander did everything in his power to hinder his team’s success as an act of defiance, butting heads with his entire locker room-- and his tag team partner-- in the process.
As a result of Flashpoint’s victory at All Star Showdown, team captains Smart Style earned a tag team title match against the dysfunctional Chaotics. Ultimately, Ashlyn and Logan were victorious in a 2-out-of-3 falls match, retaining their championships and closing the chapter of a ten-month rivalry with Bisley and Majima.
After being brutally attacked by the Dogs of War, the Chaotics (particularly Logan) grew restless upon learning that the Dogs of War would have the opportunity to become their number one contenders-- an act that the Chaotics felt was a reward to their assailants. The Dogs of War and Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad battled to a no contest, leading to a triple threat title match to the dismay of the Chaotics. Though De Luca and Alexander were victorious in the match, they attacked Peaches and Dan Herrera afterward, claiming that it was the kind of mentality and environment Hadley Herrera and, to a lesser extent, the masses in attendance, had allowed to exist. For months, the rivalry between PLAS and the Chaotics grew increasingly personal and increasingly dangerous, with the Tag Team Champions (particularly De Luca) growing hellbent on having Hadley Herrera removed from her position as General Manager.
