ENTRANCE MUSIC:

RING ATTIRE:
Ripped washed black jeans tucked into black work boots, black wrist tape.

RING ENTRANCE:
The first few operatic bars of Slipknot’s “Unsainted” begin to play as the lights pulsate in time with the music. Slowly the curtains part, and Sloan Talbot steps through - his pace slow and methodical as the song slowly builds.

I was gone, but how was I to know?”[/b][/center]

Sloan cracks his knuckles as he makes his way down the aisle, a expression of pure, unbridled hatred upon his face. Completely ignoring the fans either side of him Talbot reaches ringside, placing a knee on the apron before pulling himself up using the middle rope. He takes a quick, hateful glance around the arena before stepping into the ring and making his way to the corner.

CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRANCE:
The first few operatic bars of Slipknot’s “Unsainted” begin to play as the lights pulsate in time with the music. Slowly the curtains part, and Sloan Talbot steps through gripping his championship belt - his pace slow and methodical as the song builds.

Sloan throws his belt over his shoulder, his face a perfect picture of pure hatred as he stomps down the ramp. Completely ignoring the fans either side of him Talbot reaches ringside, placing a knee on the apron before pulling himself up using the middle rope. He takes a slow look around the arena before stepping into the ring and pacing slightly, then handing his championship to the referee. He shoots the official a glare before slowly making his way to the corner.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND

PERSONALITY:
There is nothing remotely nice to say about Sloan Talbot. He hates hard, he hates often, and most of all, he hates you.

STRENGTHS:
1. Strength. Freakish, pure strength. Able to deadlift pretty much all competitors on the roster.
2. Relentless. Sloan is unrelenting, if he has you hurt he’ll stay on you. He won’t waste time showboating, or setting up anything fancy.
3. His anger grounds him, give him purpose and keeps him focused. He will rarely lose concentration.

WEAKNESSES:
1. Trusts No One. Sloan is an army of one. He won’t work reliably with anyone else.
2. Not technically proficient as he relies on brute force.
3. Slow. Not the fastest competitor, he can be frustrated by someone quicker than him.

BACKGROUND:
Sloan Talbot is an American professional wrestler, born in Norfolk, Virginia. Despite his family’s excessive wealth, Sloan found himself getting in trouble constantly growing up, a far cry from his academically and behaviourally perfect younger brother. Running with the wrong sort of crowds eventually caught up to Talbot, and at 21 years old he was imprisoned for an original sentence of 5 years, which then was extended by another 5 years due to his actions whilst incarcerated.

Needing a way to keep himself out of trouble, Talbot was turned on to professional wrestling, a trade suitable for his size and stature. After being released from prison in 2014, Sloan Talbot trained for a year before making his professional debut on the independent circuit in 2015. After almost three years in the indies, and having shown that he’s left his life of crime behind him, Frontier Grappling Arts have signed him to a contract, where he’s carved a niche for himself, and has enjoyed some success up to this point - revered as one of the company’s toughest competitors. In January 2020 however Sloan suddenly disappeared from FGA programming, without so much as a word as to why. Many theories have been banded about as to why this was the case, but only the man himself and FGA management know.

In July 2020, as FGA programming continued it’s return to the airwaves Talbot reemerged, looking to reintroduce his special brand of violence to the roster once again. He did so, targeting James Edwards, who Talbot claimed taking up space in the company at his expense. Seemingly increasingly angry and violent, more than ever, Talbot made easy work of Edwards, eventually beating him out of the company entirely.

Talbot would then enter a feud for the FGA Fifteen Championship, a title Sloan previously held in 2018, but ultimately would fail to capitalise upon his momentum in the company, being pinned in a triple threat by Mark Bisley.
