First off, thanks to Dim for writing Edwards vs. Stryker.
I also want to thank Warren, OD, Sasso, Benny, Bryce, Randy, Ash, Paige, AAA, Dim and Tim for all of their segments on the show.
Feel free to discuss.

Good matches all around, the main event was a nice topper. I'm not always a fan of the big kickout after big kickout thing in wrestling, but this was a good spot with it here. Good way to start out a new title and give it some prestige with two of FGA's biggest all time stars having a killer match and making it mean something right off the bat. Fits well with the wrestling-heavy focus of the FP brand. Lot of face winners which is good payoff type stuff for a PPV, I liked the Chaotics attack post-match, gives a nice shakeup to the tag division. Uh yeah, I'm kinda tired rn but good shit.

Smart Style vs the Fam has been a pretty good feud this cycle that doesn’t get a ton of mention. Still, it isn’t the feud you think of when you think of a Supershow-opening seg. This was a really good standalone promo anyway though, and would be an awesome cold open. IRL would prob get the live crowd way more hyped for a midcard match than they otherwise might’ve been beforehand. (I loved the quip about only one team having their name spelled correctly on the card.)
Maybe that wasn’t the show open. Idk when the live audience would see that promo. Shit, was that on the pre-show? DAMN THIS FEUD GETS NO LOVE. Oh well at least they gave the pre-show a sick cold open, eh? It leads into another match where the mystique of Michael Tomkins continues to plummet. But another good win for him at least. Kendall closes out the pre-show with a good babyface promo. The strongest Kingham stuff IMO is in her interactions with other characters, so hopefully we see more of that in the future.
Sloan Talbot continues to be put over like a killer on commentary bc he knows where Geoff’s mom lives or something. Sloan, much like BROOKFORD, is one of those people I could see easily transitioning into main event slots from time to time.
A pair of solid segments from PCLAS and AAA that remind us that the tag division can be pretty stacked tbh. Lol sometimes I don’t know how to take AAA. They’re over the top sometimes, but they’re legit fun characters. Good setup for the tag match which followed. I dig that the LDFC (!!!) history was touched on. The ending kept TTT and Steel looking strong but still feels like a blow to their momentum, which happens to Tillman during literally every run he has.
I liked Savannah’s segment here. Something about her character feels different these days and I feel I’ve missed things here and there so I can’t fully explain why. It could simply be bc her main rival rn is a heel, but I like it.
Working this Chaotics angle with Tim (Logan) has been fun. Some of the segs do feel a little inconsequential on their own but hopefully they’ve told a fun story overall.
AAA with a solid win over the Resistance. It didn't seem like a huge thing on the first read, but this match really makes AAA look like monster killers-- probably because Antoinette Sands seems to get ragdolled a lot. Seems like a team that gets routinely worked over before they manage to pull out the win, and not a ton of characters can pull that off these days.
I’m not gonna jerk Bryce off over how much I love Chandler Scott promos. But I will jerk Bryce off over how much I love douchey, 2017 Cena-esque Chandler Scott promos.
Kendall vs Reed. I think this feud started with a lot of fire, just based off the quality of the matches written and how good Kendall and Cassius are as characters. Feels like there wasn’t quite as much energy there at the tail end but it was still a good match and still does a great service to Kendall. Cassius isn’t really hurt here. I don’t know if I’ve ever stated how much I like the concept of the FGA 15 Title. If not, consider this me stating how much I like the concept of the FGA 15 Title.
Brookford gives me some straight creeper vibes but it’s another layer to his character I enjoy. His interactions with Amanda are gold. This promo got right to the point and hyped the US Title match really well.
Major, major kudos to Terr for writing a wild af triple threat tag match. The visual of the Samoan Drop/Doomsday Device combo was fantastic. Then it got absolutely brutal. I uh… [insert line about animal abuse]. Not entirely sure what happened to the Dogs at the tail end of this feud but it was at least a fun story to help tell. The match became way more hardcore than I imagined it would’ve but it set the tone for the events after the match, which hopefully gives multiple characters the opportunity to do something fresh.
James Edwards out here with the old school rasslin promos. It’s charming, damnit.
Love Cherry’s little outburst in the Karma promo. Karma and Chandler have a really unique dynamic that I enjoy reading as it plays out. Karma definitely comes off as the FaceyMcFace out of the two, while still maintaining a certain edge.
I really, really dug writing Edwards v Stryker so hopefully this was enjoyable to read. Most fun I’ve had writing a match in a little while.
That was simple but I loved it. Salem is really good at saying things huh. HUH. really though
Again, triple threat matches can be tricky to write, but this was handled well. Fun af to read. Not gonna lie-- going into this, I had no idea who was going to win. The way the story has been going, it looked like anybody had as much of an advantage as anyone else. A live crowd would’ve popped hard for Salem, and she is a fun character so I’m curious to see what she does with the title. Tbh I’m curious to see where all three of them go from here. Hopefully Savannah finally gets that nudge toward the top title. BROOKFORD would be interesting in literally any title picture.
FINAL FRONTIER FFFFFFFFFFFFF
I feel a bit guilty because I initially skimmed portions of the main event (never giving it the full word-to-word read until before this review). That was amazing, and I was certain this was a roundabout way to write Geoff Penzer off with a sudden heart attack bc the man was beside himself for the last quarter of the match. Vince McMahon would’ve shat. That match was pure quality though, even if Karma and Cherry disappeared into thin air after the bell. Jk, it was a really great way to end an all-around solid Supershow though.
I’ll try to get Capital Combat done tonight!
