BACKGROUND:
Finding himself all alone following his senior year in high school following a series of tragic, heartbreaking events, Marlon Dwayne Cure and a childhood friend at the time took up Professional Wrestling as a fast track way to make a bit of cash. Originally trying out as the manager for his associate, Cure’s desire and drive to succeed took him from merely becoming a part of professional wrestling to earn enough to live, to wanting to live out his dreams and ambitions til his heart gave out. He decided from then on that to get ahead and live life to the limit and love it alive, he’d have to bet on himself to get it done in the ring and him alone.
Ending his relationship with the associate and enrolling in the same training facility as the likes of Brian Stryker, Cure found himself rising in the ranks of his local independent promotion, The Keystone Wrestling Federation. He was caught with an early knee injury that would sideline him for several months, before returning with a new look, new attitude and new outlook on not just professional wrestling, but life as a whole. This is where his "King Cure" moniker was born. He'd soon become one of it’s brightest young stars, holding it’s Junior Heavyweight and Tri State Championships simultaneously with his Juniors Title Reign lasting over 250 Days. His sights soon turned to The World Crown Syndicate following his departure, where he would join it’s Cardinal City Pro & New Kingdom Pro Rosters.
Within Cardinal City Pro, Cure made an immediate impact on it's Juniors Division, staking claim on the title and entering a lengthy feud with former PCW Owner and current Junior Heavyweight Champion, James Baker. Cure and Baker would spend the better part of a year feuding over the title, trading it several times until their war culminated in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match on CCP's Youtube Shots! Event: Misery & Gin. Cure would win the match and The Junior Heavyweight Championship for a 2nd time.
Cure's tenure in the New Kingdom Pro promotion saw him immediately enter several feuds with the likes of Miss Fortune, James Edwards, Becky San Clemente, and others as he set his sights on the European Championship. Cure was able to defeat the reigning champion at the time due to interference from Edwards, who he was embroiled in a bitter rivalry with. Their rivalry ended with a triple threat match for The European Championship that saw Becky San Clemente win the title after taking advantage of the pair's aggression towards one another.
Now his journey to continue his come up has lead him to FGA, where his eyes are on more green and gold to add to the collection.

*Static Cut Intro*
This is a public service announcement
Sponsored by Just Blaze and the good folks at Roc-A-Fella Records.
"Fellow Americans, it is with the utmost pride and sincerity
That I present this recording, as a living testament and recollection
Of history in the making during our generation."
The arena darkens as Jay Z’s “Public Service Announcement” plays, and the fans boo as Just Blaze's words echo throughout the arena following Jay's introduction and a lone spotlight appears on the stage. The ominous sounding piano goes louder as all of the lights in the arena go out, leaving it completely black as the intro ends...
ALLOW ME TO RE-INTRODUCE MYSELF, MY NAME IS HOV.
A single spotlight suddenly illuminates the entrance way to show the silhouette of a man on the stage. The lighting cuts back in and turns a golden hue as Marlon Cure stands with both arms outstretched on either side of him, eyes closed and his head tilted back, soaking in the atmosphere and energy from the crowd. The camera pans around Cure as the fan reaction grows louder and louder.
Announcer: Making his way to the ring! From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing 196 Pounds! MARLON! CUREEEEEE!
The High Flyer walks down to the ring with purpose, oozing confidence as he hops up the steel steps and climbs up to the top rope, reaching a hand for the sky in a taunting manner before he finally drops down into the ring. Cure shrugs the sleeveless long coat off of his shoulders and places the black gold crown around a nearby ringpost as he leans back in the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Cure walks down the ramp but stops halfway, unhooking the [insert championship name here] from around his waist as he looks down at the face plate, before raising both hands to his side as the camera pans around Cure and dollar bills begin to fall from the ceiling.
The camera settles back into place as Cure puts the title over his shoulder and continues to the ring, then gets a close up of one of the bills to see that Cure's image has been superimposed onto them.
