Noelle Smith & El Stravito vs. Bristow & Barnes
“Run This Town” by Jay-Z feat. Kanye West & Rihanna starts to play. Strobes begin surveying the building as darkness has taken over the arena.
Feel it comin' in the air
And the screams from everywhere
I'm addicted to the thrill
It's a dangerous love affair
Can't be scared when it goes down
Got a problem, tell me now
Only thing that's on my mind
Is who's gonna run this town tonight
Is who's gonna run this town tonight
We gonna run this town
Bright lights shine on the entranceway nearly drowning the entire scene in white as Tully Barnes and Nate Bristow emerge from the backstage area. The two tag partners stand at the top of the entranceway with smug smirks on their faces and their eyes focused on the ring in front of them. The lights quickly dim again and the arena is filled with green and yellow laser lights as Bristow & Barnes start toward the ring.
We are, yeah I said it, we are,
This is Roc Nation, pledge your allegiance
Get ya'll black tees on, all black everything
Black cards, black cars, all black everything
And our girls are blackbirds, ridin' with they Dillingers
I'd get more in depth, if you boys really real enough
This is la familia, I'll explain later
But for now let me get back to this paper, I'm a couple bands down
And I'm tryin' to get back
I gave the other grip, I lost a flip for five stacks
Yeah I'm talkin' five comma's, six zeros, dot zeroes here it go,
Back to runnin' circles 'round n*ggas, now we squared up, hold up
Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! It is your main event of the evening! Introducing first, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 495 pounds! They are the team of BRISTOW & BARNES!!!
As Bristow & Barnes reach the ring, they turn toward one another and hit their forearms together. They head for opposite sides of the ring, leaping up to the apron and propping themselves up on one knee. They stare out into the crowd as they pop up to both feet with their backs against the ropes and their arms outstretched.
Life's a game but it's not fair
I break the rules so I don't care
So I keep doin' my own thing
Walkin' tall against the rain
Victory's within the mile,
Almost there, don't give up now
Only thing that's on my mind
Is who's gon' run this town tonight
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, heyy
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, heyy,
Is who’s gon' run this town tonight?
Now inside the ring, they cross paths and perch up on the ropes on the opposite of the ring, one foot on the bottom rope and one foot on the middle, taunting the fans as they await their opponents.
The music starts and different colored lights flash around. Once the beat drops, El Stravito rolls out from the curtain and pops up on stage. He makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans on each side. El Stravito dances to his music on the ring steps before flipping over the ropes into the ring. Stravito leaps on the top turnbuckle to hype the fans as the music dies down.
Melanie Sierra: Introducing their opponents! First, from San José, Costa Rica! Weighing in at 185 pounds! He is ELLLLLLL STRAVITOOOOOO!!!
“Lose My Breath” by Destiny's Child starts to play over the PA, and the lights dim as Noelle steps from behind the curtain, a wide smile on her face as she waves to the fans before doing a few provocative dance moves as the lyrics cue up.
Can you keep up?
Baby boy, make me lose my breath
Bring the noise, make me lose my breath
Hit me hard, make me lose my (hah hah)
Can you keep up?
Baby boy, make me lose my breath
Bring the noise, make me lose my breath
Hit me hard, make me lose my breath (hah hah)Melanie Sierra: And his partner, from Orlando, Florida… NOEEEEEELE SMITH!!!
She does an athletic somersault forward to take her half down the ramp and then rushes the ring, using her hands to push her up onto the apron as she slides under the bottom rope and pops up, giggling and blowing kisses to the fans, winking at the referee and waving to the ring announcers cheerily.
Geoff Penzer: Bristow & Barnes, along with Ricky Valero, have made it their mission to go after Noelle Smith and El Stravito at every turn. They want to make Noelle Smith’s life a living hell while also wanting to unmask El Stravito. But tonight, Noelle Smith and El Stravito finally get the chair to settle the score in the ring in tonight’s main event.
The bell sounds as Noelle Smith and Nate Bristow start things off. Both grapplers circle the ring, size each other up, then make their way towards the center of the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Bristow grabs Smith by the back of their hair and uses it to move her across the ring and into the corner. The ref gives them until the count of five to break it up.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Both grapplers break. Smith turns to the ref and points at Bristow, telling the official that he Bristow pulled her hair. Bristow shakes his head with feverish denial. As Smith demonstrates Bristow pulling her hair, the boos grow louder when Bristow doubles Smith over with a kick to the midsection. He then takes Smith and whips her across the ring into the opposite corner. Bristow runs over to attack, but Smith knocks him back with a boot to the face. The crowd cheers as Smith heads out of the corner and brings him down with a running hurricanrana. Bristow returns to his feet, only to be returned to the mat with a dropkick. Once Bristow gets back up, Smith grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Bristow reverses, sending Smith into the ropes. When Smith returns, she sees Bristow setting up for a back body drop. So she stops, turns away from him and rolls across his back. Once Bristow stands up and turns around, he gets rocked with a roundhouse kick to the face that knocks him down. The cheers continue as Smith drops down and makes the cover.

Cheers ring throughout the arena when Stravito climbs to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and comes down across Bristow’s arm with a double ax handle smash. He then takes Bristow by the arm and wrenches it three times. The ref checks in with Bristow and asks him if he wants to give up. Bristow refuses. He then reaches over and quickly reverses into an arm wrench of his own. Stravito then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and brings him down to the canvas with a headscissors takeover. He makes the cover.

When he comes back, Bristow throws out a back elbow to the face. But again, Stravito ducks and runs into the ropes. When Stravito returns, Bristow drops onto the mat. So Stravito hops over him before running the ropes. The crowd boos when Tully Barnes reaches over and knees Stravito in the lower back. Bristow then rushes over and flattens Stravito with a running shoulder block. The boos continue as he heads over and tags in Barnes. Once Barnes gets in, the duo put the boots to Stravito before Bristow steps out onto the apron. Barnes picks up Stravito, lifts him up and delivers a belly to back suplex. Barnes returns to his feet before delivering a pointed elbow drop, then another, then a third for good measure. He presses his forearm down across Stravito’s jaw while he makes the lateral press.

Bristow marches into the corner, slams Stravito face-first onto the top turnbuckle, turns him around and sends him slumping down in the corner with mudhole stomps. Bristow follows up with a foot choke while pulling down on the top rope. The ref quickly jumps in and gives him until the count of five to break the choke.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
As soon as the ref says “FIVE!,” Bristow puts his hands in the air defensively while he walks back towards the center of the ring. While the ref is reading Bristow the riot act, the crowd erupts with boos when Barnes steps into the ring and mudhole stomps Stravito behind the referee’s back. Smith sees this, so she rushes over to help Stravito. But the ref moves around Bristow and cuts her off. While the ref is yelling at Smith to get back in her corner, Bristow steps out onto the apron, pulls up Stravito and holds his arms from behind while Barnes delivers rights and lefts to the body. Once Smith reluctantly heads back into her corner, Bristow lets go of Stravito’s arms just before the ref turns around. The boos continue as Barnes nails Stravito with shoulder thrusts to the midsection. He then stands Stravito up in the corner before lighting up his chest with knife edge chop. Barnes brings Stravito from out of the corner before whipping him into the far ropes. When Stravito returns, Barnes sends him flipping down to the canvas with a hard knee to the midsection. He reaches down, pulls up Stravito, turns to face the near ropes, lifts Stravito up and delivers a slingshot suplex. The boos continue as Barnes rolls over and makes the cover.

But the boos quickly turn to cheers when Stravito reaches up, grabs Barnes with both hands and pulls down, delivering a kneeling jawbreaker. Barnes stumbles back while Stravito remains on his knees. He then rolls forward, leaps into the corner and tags Smith back. The crowd explodes with cheers when Smith knocks Barnes down with a springboard dropkick. The momentum from the kick sends Barnes rolling underneath the bottom rope and to the floor. Smith claps her hands to get the crowd hyped up. Once Barnes begins to pick himself up off the floor, Smith turns and runs into the far ropes. When she returns, Bristow runs in and tries to cut her off with a clothesline. But Smith ducks, flips over the top rope onto the apron and knocks Barnes down with a diving knee strike. Back in the ring, Bristow tries to rush over and attack Smith. But Stravito turns him around and lights up his chest with knife edge chops. He then turns and runs into the far ropes. When Stravito returns, she brings Bristow down with a running hurricanrana. The momentum from the move sends Bristow rolling to the outside. Stravito returns to his feet and begins waving his arms up and down. Once Bristow tries to get back to his feet, Stravito turns and runs into the far ropes. When Stravito returns, he knocks Bristow down with a plancha to the outside.
Geoff Penzer: The high risk pays off for the luchador as he wipes out Bristow on the outside! El Stravito and Noelle Smith are back in control and this crowd is loving every second of it!
Smith and Stravito pick up Bristow & Barnes respectively before slamming their heads into each other with a double noggin knocker. Bristow goes down while Stravito rolls Barnes back into the ring. Geoff Penzer: My goodness, did you hear the impact!?
While Stravito is down, Bristow helps Barnes back to his feet. Barnes then heads over and puts the boots to Stravito before yanking him over and rolling him back inside. While Valero is dazed, Stravito turns and runs into the ropes. When Stravito returns, Bristow blindsides him with a running clothesline.
Geoff Penzer: Bristow with a clothesline out of nowhere!
Bristow & Barnes pick up Stravito before delivering an aided turnbuckle powerbomb. The crowd boos continue as Stravito crumbles from out of the corner while Valero pulls Smith up onto her knees by her hair. Valero shouts insults in Smith’s face while he balls up his fist. He threatens to break Smith’s face when screams and shrieks are heard from the crowd at the sight of someone. The crowd explodes with cheers when Chandler Scott races down the aisle.
Geoff Penzer: IT’S CHANDLER SCOTT! CHANDLER SCOTT IS HERE!
Valero turns and widens his eyes with shock as soon as he sees Scott. When Scott slides into the ring, Valero throws Smith down before taking a powder to the floor. Scott motions after Valero when he gets tackled down from behind by Bristow & Barnes.
Geoff Penzer: Bristow & Barnes just pounced all over Scott!
Valero shouts instructions from the floor while Bristow and Barnes put the boots to Scott. “Let’s Go Chandler!” chants break out, which draws the ire of Valero. Back inside, Bristow & Barnes pick up Scott and whip him into the ropes. When Scott returns, Bristow & Barnes throw out a double clothesline. But Scott ducks. When they turn around, Scott knocks Barnes down with a Pinpoint Dropkick, resulting in cheers from the crowd. Stravito then spins Bristow around and knocks him back with a series of punches to the face. Once Smith returns to her face, her and Stravito rush across the ring and deliver a double clothesline, sending Bristow over the top rope and to the floor.
The crowd roars with cheers after Chandler, Noelle and Stravito have cleared the ring. Valero shouts at Chandler from the outside while Chandler smirks and motions with his finger for him to come here. Valero continues to help Bristow and Barnes retreat up the aisle while Chandler calls for the mic. When The Kingdom Come are near the top of the ramp, Chandler starts to speak.
Chandler Scott: Woah, woah, woah, woah woah. Hold on just a second. Don't tuck your tail between your legs and leave just yet, guys.
The crowd roars with cheers while Chandler, Noelle and Stravito stand in the ring. Valero, Bristow and Barnes slowly turn around and are clearly bothered after having another one of their attempts to attack Noelle and Stravito blow up in their face.
Chandler Scott: You know something...
Chandler begins shaking his index finger as if he's just discovered something.
Chandler Scott: I think I've finally figured it out. I'm starting to notice a pattern here with you, Rick. See, you love to puff out your chest and act like a tough guy when the numbers are in your favor. You love to act all big and bad and talk that trash when you've got Bristow and Barnes flanked at your sides to do your dirty work. It's easy to bully Noelle, pick on Stravito, try to start something with James Edwards and look down on everyone when it's three-on-one or three-on-two. But history has shown us that when the numbers are even, like at All-Star Showdown, or when it's simply one-on-one, like at Trouble in Paradise? Ricky Valero isn't looking down on anyone. Instead, Ricky Valero is looking up at the lights after getting knocked on his ass.
The crowd roars with cheers. Valero stomps his foot and shouts something from atop the ramp. Chandler continues on...
Chandler Scott: I've figured out something else. There isn't a week that goes by where you don't have my name in your mouth. There's isn't a week that goes by where you don't have something to say about yours truly. Well if you have such a problem with me, then why haven't you manned up and actually done something about it? Before, I simply chalked it up to scheduling issues. You know, sometimes you were on a Vertigo while I was on Flashpoint, or vice versa. Okay, cool. But since we're now on the same show post-Draft? You have no excuse as to why you haven't escalated things to physicality. I've waited weeks for you to try something, only for you to never make a move. You can type the hell out of a keyboard while you hide behind your computer screen. Yet you refuse to bring that same energy to my face. In fact, whenever I've been in your vicinity, you have a habit of running in the opposite direction. It happened two weeks ago after the Six Year Anniversary Show and guess what? It just happened again right now. And you want to know why you run, Rick? You want to know why you run? It's because you have no backbone. It's because you're gutless. It's because you're not half the man that you pretend to be. Instead of actually being a man for once in your pathetic life, you continue to take the coward's way out. You're not the King of Wrestling, Rick.
You're just a passive-aggressive p*ssy.
A loud "OOOOOOOOO!" makes it's way through the crowd. Noelle can be seen trying to stifle her laughter while El Stravito can be heard going "jajaja!". At the top of the ramp, Valero's nostrils flare after the latest round of insults.
Chandler Scott: And the more I think about it, I really shouldn't blame you for acting the way that you are, seeing as how the last time you and I were in the ring, I mopped you up. I outwrestled you and showed the world the difference between a phony Franchise like yourself... and the DNA of FGA. But here's the thing. You can keep ducking the face-to-face with me but for so long. You can keep running but for so long...
Chandler holds his watch up to his ear.
Chandler Scott: Do you know what my watch is saying? It's saying that Ricky Valero's time runs out at Final Frontier.
Another roar of cheers from the crowd. Thy Kingdom Come look at each other with confusion.
Chandler Scott: You, Bristow and Barnes want to get your hands on Noelle and Stravito? Good. Because you're going to have plenty of chances at Final Frontier when you get in the ring with them. But don't celebrate just yet, guys. Because it's not going to be another three-on-two affair. The numbers game won't be in your favor because Vito and Noe? They're going to have a third partner. There's going to be a third man in their corner. And that man...
Chandler turns to the hard camera and smirks.
Chandler Scott: ... is me.
A loud ovation is heard, followed by "Yes!" chants from the crowd. Bristow and Barnes throw their arms up in disbelief. Valero, meanwhile, is fuming, as evidence by his yelling from atop the ramp.
Chandler Scott: I hope you three put on your big boy pants because at Final Frontier?
It's Game Time! And at Final Frontier, after all the dust settles and all the smokes clears, every head will bow and every tongue will confess that Noelle Smith... and El Stravito... and Chandler Scott...
Crowd: REIGN SUPREME!
Chandler holds the mic up by the end of it's handle before dropping it with a smirk. He, Noelle and Stravito make their way across the ring next to the ropes. Stravito climbs up to the middle ropes and points at Thy Kingdom Come. Noelle confidently smiles and nods. Meanwhile, Chandler continues to smirk as he stares at Valero. Bristow and Barnes point back at Noelle and Stravito. Valero, however, remains stone faced as he stares back at Chandler from atop the ramp.
Geoff Penzer: What an announcement we just heard! At Final Frontier, it will be Thy Kingdom Come against Chandler Scott, Noelle Smith and El Stravito! What a match that is going to be! For everyone here on Flashpoint, this is Geoff Penzer signing off! We’ll see you in two weeks for the final Flashpoint before Final Frontier!
