"Perfect Insanity" by Disturbed plays as a video package is shown of various FGA grapplers making their way through various entranceways. The video then switches to various FGA grapplers getting kicked, punched, slammed, suplexed and dropped onto the mat.... Come inside and be afraid Of this impressive mess I've made If you take a look now you will find I have thrown away my vice Done away with paradise See what's going on inside my mind Please let me out Please let me out Please let me... After dramatic slow motion shots of various grapplers flipping off the top turnbuckle, the video switches to the Flashpoint logo as the chorus kicks in. The video fades to an outside shot of the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. We then transition inside to a wide shot of the arena. The camera then pans around, capturing the excited crowd. An FGA chant breaks out throughout several sections of the crowd... ★★★ FRONTIER LIONS CUP (QUALIFYING ROUND) ★★★ ★★★ 15 CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH ★★★ (c) Brian Stryker vs. Noelle Smith “Lose My Breath” by Destiny's Child starts to play over the PA, and the lights dim as Noelle steps from behind the curtain, a wide smile on her face as she waves to the fans before doing a few provocative dance moves as the lyrics cue up. Can you keep up? Baby boy, make me lose my breath Bring the noise, make me lose my breath Hit me hard, make me lose my (hah hah) Can you keep up? Baby boy, make me lose my breath Bring the noise, make me lose my breath Hit me hard, make me lose my breath (hah hah)Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit! It is for the FGA 15 Championship, as well as a Qualifying Match for the 2017 Frontier Lion Cup Tournament! Introducing first, the challenger! From Orlando, Florida… NOOOOELLLLE SMITH!!! She does an athletic somersault forward to take her half down the ramp and then rushes the ring, using her hands to push her up onto the apron as she slides under the bottom rope and pops up, giggling and blowing kisses to the fans, winking at the referee and waving to the ring announcers cheerily. Geoff Penzer: We’re kicking things off here tonight on Flashpoint where the stakes are doubly high. Not only is the 15 Championship on the line, but so is a spot in the First Round of the Frontier Lions Cup! "The following beat down has been brought to you by Dark Horse Protection. Dark Horse Protection: Protecting your ass, cause we need root beer money." "Yeah, I've made my mistake I've seen my heart cave in I got my scars I've been to hell and back again" Dark Horses by Switchfoot starts to play as the guitar intro hammers out into the arena. Brian Stryker walks out from behind the curtain, his hood up, title belt around his neck. Brian walks to the center of the stage. He gets down on one knee and runs his hand over the floor of the stage. He rises to his feet and throws his hood back, grabbing his title as he holds it above his head.. "Born for the blue skies We’ll survive the rain Born for the sunrise We’ll survive the pain" Melanie Sierra: And her opponent, from Maui, Hawaii! Weighing in at 215 pounds! He is the reigning and defending FGA 15 Champion! He is “The Dad of Professional Wrestling” BRIIIIIIAAAANNNN STRYYYYYYKERRRRR!!! He walks down the ramp, not taking his eyes off the ring. When he gets to the steel steps, he walks up them and climbs the turnbuckle to the top. He looks out to the crowd before holding out his title as the crowd sings the chorus. "We’re singing… Hey, you can’t count us out We’ve been running up against the crowd Yeah, we are the dark horses We’re singing… Wait! It’s not over now We’ve been down but we’ve never been out Yeah, we are the dark horses" Stryker sits himself on the top turnbuckle as he looks down at his title and kisses the front plate before handing it to the ref. Geoff Penzer: Here is the champ, Brian Stryker! Stryker successfully defended his title two weeks ago. Tonight would make defense number two if he’s able to get past Noelle Smith. Stryker has made it abundantly clear that he wants to reach for successful defenses and cash that title in for a shot at the Pride Championship. But first he needs to get past Noelle Smith, who is always a tough out... The bell sounds as Stryker and Smith make their way to the center of the ring and shake hands to start things off before circling the ring and engaging in a collar-and-elbow tie up. After jockeying for position, Stryker places Smith in a side headlock. After Smith refuses to submit, Stryker performs a standing switch and transitions into a hammerlock from behind. The ref again asks Smith if she wants to give up. After refusing to quit, she leans forward before reversing into a hammerlock of her own. But Stryker is quick to reach back with his free arm, throw Smith down with a snapmare takeover and follows up with a soccer kick to the back. He then pushes Smith down before making the lateral press. ONE! . . Smith kicks out. Stryker bring Smith back to her feet and wrenches her arm. He then delivers two more arm wrenches. After Smith refuses to quit, she rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of her own. The ref goes over and checks in with the 15 Champion. After Stryker refuses to quit, he rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of his own. Smith then rolls forward, leans back, kips up, cartwheels over and brings Stryker to the mat with an arm drag takedown. After knocking him back down to the canvas with a dropkick, Smith picks up Stryker and goes for an irish whip. But Stryker reverses the irish whip into a short-arm clothesline, knocking her down. The cheers continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Smith kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Stryker’s got his eyes on a potential encounter with Vertigo’s Chris Madison and the 15 Championship. But even if Stryker gets the four successful defenses, Madison might not even be the Pride Champion as he’s scheduled to defend his title on next week’s Vertigo against Sydney Christensen. Stryker picks up Smith and whips her into the ropes. When Smith returns, Stryker throws out a clothesline. But Smith ducks and runs into the far ropes. When she comes back, she goes for a crossbody block. But Stryker ducks by dropping down into the prone position, sending Smith crashing to the canvas. As she tries to get back to her feet, Stryker rushes over and executes a running hurricanrana, sending Smith through the ropes and to the apron. As Smith tries to pick herself up, Stryker goes over to attack. But he gets hit with a shoulder thrust through the ropes, followed by a rope-assisted gamengiri that knocks him back. The crowd cheers when Smith connects with a springboard flying knee, knocking him down. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stryker kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Smith nailed him with that flying knee to the face, but it only gets two. Smith is not only looking to qualify for the Frontier Lions Cup, but she’s also looking for her second piece of hardware here in FGA. Her waist has been bare since losing the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship a little over two years ago. You just know that Smith is looking to end that championship drought here tonight. Smith picks up Stryker and goes for an irish whip. But Stryker reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Smith returns, Stryker sets up for a back body drop. But she quickly stops in front of him and applies a front facelock to set up for Swing, Set, Match (swinging neckbreaker), causing the crowd to gasp and cheer. Geoff Penzer: Noelle’s got him set up for Swing, Set, Ma- Smith’s about to put the match away when Stryker quickly slips out and reverses into the First Stryke (arm twist/hook kick combo), knocking her down. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Smith kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Noelle Smith nearly ended this matchup and Stryker reign as 15 Champion! Stryker was lucky to be able to slip out and reverse! Stryker picks up Smith, moves her into the corner and delivers a trio of knife edge chops. The 15 Champ then takes the challenger and goes for an irish whip. But Smith reverses, sending him into the corner. Smith runs across the ring to attack. But Stryker counters with a back body drop. Stryker walks away from the corner thinking that he’s sent Smith flying to the floor. But instead, Smith is performing a headstand on the top turnbuckle. When Stryker turns around to see this, he rushes back into the corner to knock her off. But he ends up getting knocked down with a double foot mule kick to the chest. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stryker kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Smith nearly knocked the air right out of Stryker with that double foot kick. But it only gets a count of two. It’s been a back and forth affair thus far in this contest. Let’s see which grappler will be able to sustain an advantage... Smith picks up Stryker and goes for an irish whip. But Stryker reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Smith returns, Stryker sends her to the mat with an arm drag takedown. After Smith gets back to her feet, Stryker rushes over to attack. But Smith sidesteps before pushing him into the ropes. When Stryker returns, Smith brings him down with a hurricanrana. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stryker kicks out. Smith picks up Stryker and whips him into the ropes. When Stryker returns, Smith doubles him over with a spinning back kick to the midsection, stands him upright with a knee lift and sends him stumbling back into the ropes after an uppercut elbow. While Stryker is dazed against the ropes, Smith turns and runs into the far ropes. When she comes back, she connects with a crossbody block, sending them both over the top rope and to the floor. Geoff Penzer: Oh my! Both champion and challenger took a hard tumble to the outside! I hope they’re not hurt! Smith gets up off of Stryker before rolling him back inside. She then slides herself back in to make the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stryker kicks out. Smith picks up Stryker, moves him into the corner and places him in a Muay Thai Clinch before delivering a series of knee strikes to the body. She then takes Stryker and sends him into the opposite corner with an irish whip. After running across the ring, Smith connecting with a spinning heel kick that sends her over the top rope and onto the apron. While Stryker staggers away from the corner, Smith springboards to the top turnbuckle before connecting with a missile dropkick that sends Stryker through the ropes and onto the apron. After Stryker pulls himself up, Smith runs across the ring and connects with a forearm smash, knocking Stryker off the apron and to the floor. Smith steps out onto the apron while Stryker stirs on the floor. She begins to gauge the distance between herself and Stryker as he slowly turns over. After Stryker gets to his feet and turns around, the crowd cheers when he gets knocked down by a springboard moonsault from Smith. Geoff Penzer: The high risk pays off for Noelle Smith! She’s developed a more striking style as of late. But right there, she proved that she can still soar through the air! Smith picks up Stryker and rolls him back inside before climbing back up onto the apron. She turns to the crowd and points to them before waving her arm up and down to hype them up. The crowd stands in anticipation once Stryker begins to pick himself up off the mat. When he finally turns around, Smith goes for a springboard crossbody block. But Stryker’s able to roll through it. ONE! . . TWO! . . Smith kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Stryke nearly stole the win there... Stryker picks up Smith and whips her into the ropes. Upon her return, he sets up for a back body drop. But Smith counters with a kick to the shoulder. She then takes him by the wrist and goes for an irish whip. But Stryker reverses and delivers Stryke 2 (leg-hook Saito Suplex). As Smith rolls to the outside, Stryker gets back to his feet and heads to the center of the ring. As soon as Smith begins to pick herself up on the outside, he turns and takes off into the far ropes. When Stryker returns, the crowd cheers when he knocks Smith down with a springboard Shooting Star Splash. Geoff Penzer: Stryker one ups Smith with that Shootign Star Splash to the outside! What a move by the 15 Champion! Stryker gets back to his feet before climbing up onto the floor. After looking down at Smith, he looks at the top turnbuckle before scanning the crowd. Geoff Penzer: Stryker’s looking to take it to the air yet again! Stryker shakes his head before marching across the apron and scaling to the top turnbuckles. Once Smith gets back to her feet, Stryker flips off and knocks her down with a corkscrew moonsault. Geoff Penzer: Noelle SMith just got wiped out by that moonsault to the outside! The 15 Champ knows what’s on the line and is pulling out all the stops to make sure he advances with the title! Stryker picks up Smith and rolls her back inside before sliding back in to make the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Smith gets her shoulder up. Stryker picks up Smith, lifts her up and brings her down with the Freak Accident (pumphandle neckbreaker lift into a cutter). He then heads back out onto the apron before scaling to the top turnbuckle and jumping off for a diving leg drop. But he ends up crashing onto the canvas after Smith rolls out of the way at the last second. Geoff Penzer: Nobody’s home after Smith rolls out of the way! When Stryker returns to his feet, Smith begins to chop him down with shoot kicks to the leg. After the last kick drops Stryker down to a knee, she follows up with a step-up enzuigiri. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Stryker gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Stryker got the shoulder up. But he looks to be rocked. Can Noelle Smith put him away! Smith picks up Stryker and moves him into the corner with Muay Thai front kicks to the chest. After a trio of forearm smashes, Smith sends Stryker into the opposite corner with an irish whip. She then runs across the ring before connecting with a handspring back elbow, followed by a pelé kick. The cheers continue as Smith sends Stryker back into the previous corner with an irish whip. Smith runs across the ring, leaps into the air and connects with a hesitation dropkick that sends Stryker slumping down in the corner. Smith pulls up Stryker in the corner before climbing up onto the middle ropes. She then places Stryker in an inverted front facelock before flipping off for the Beauty Mark (diving somersault inverted facelock jawbreaker). But Stryker is able to block the move by holding her in place after the slip, brings Smith back to her feet and counters with a German Suplex into the turnbuckles. The 15 Champ takes Smith and sends her into the opposite corner with an irish whip before running across the ring, connecting with a corner back elbow and following up with a CSS Enzuigiri. After bringing Smith from out of the corner, Stryker brings her down with the Overdose (straightjacket shiranui). He then steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. The fans in the crowd stand up as Stryker flips off and crashes down across Smith with the Air Stryke (Shooting Star Press). The cheers continue as he hooks the leg... ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd explodes with cheers as “Dark Horses” blasts over the PA. Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner and STILLLLL the FGA 15 Champion, BRIAN STRYKER! The cheers continue as Stryker raises the 15 Championship over his head! Geoff Penzer: Brian Stryker successfully defends his 15 Championship against Noelle Smith while also advancing into the First Round of the Frontier Lions Cup! The show cuts backstage to where one half of the FGA World Tag Team Champions, Peaches, is fetching a bottle of Gatorade from a vending machine. Ready dressed in her ring attire, as well as a Raleigh Renegades t-shirt, Peaches takes a sip of lemon and lime goodness when, suddenly, Ashlyn De Luca appears behind her.
Ashlyn De Luca: ...whatchugot?!
The bottle slips from her lips as Peaches jumps in shock, spilling Gatorade down her t-shirt.
Peaches: Damnit!
Ashlyn De Luca: Clumsy, Peaches…
Ashlyn shakes her head as Peaches wipes down her front, wanting to get as much Gatorade off her as possible.
Peaches: Didn’t nobody ever tell you not to sneak up on a person?
Ashlyn De Luca: I asked you first.
Peaches: Nothin’ we can base a contest on, I can tell you that.
Peaches beams a wide smile, referencing the flip cup game two weeks ago in which the SSWA World Champion was soundly beaten! Ashlyn picks up on the joke, and fakes a laugh … and continues that laugh until Peaches eventually has to look around, wondering if it’s ever going to end. But it does. Eventually.
Ashlyn De Luca: Yeah, about that. I was thinking we could have another contest this week.
Peaches: Sure, but I ain’t drinkin’ ‘til after the match. So you’re gonna have to wait a little longer.
Ashlyn De Luca: Not drinking.
Ashlyn waves her off.
Ashlyn De Luca: Not again! Nah, this time I’ve got an idea I know you’re gonna love, Peaches.
With that, Ashlyn wraps an arm around Peaches’ shoulder, forcing the tag champion to smile nervously as the show cuts back to ringside.

★★★ SINGLES MATCH ★★★ NEON vs. Ash Fi Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, already in the ring! Representing SCCW… AAAASH FIIIII! Geoff Penzer: Ash Fi is back in action this week after competing over on Vertigo last week against The New Murder’s Chris Bond. It’ll be interesting to see how that knee of hers holds up... Neon’s music hits and the bass echoes around the arena fusing with a sea of boos from the audience and she glides with decorum laced arrogance acknowledging the crowd around her with glacial eyes and a sinister smile. She raises both her arms so they hang level with her shoulders and the white lights begin to flicker heavily as she lingers for a brief moment. The lights suspend again and Neon makes her way down the ramp, painted with the same expression she arrived into the arena with, fixating her gaze solely on the ring, remaining ignorant to the fans around her that send floods of jeers her way. She takes her hoop earrings off as she is walking down and throws them to the floor casually. Melanie Sierra: And her opponent, from Los Angeles, California! She is “The Queen of Mean” NEEEEEEOOOOON!!! She runs towards the closest set of steel steps, peeling her mink off of her before motioning to the camera to come closer as she travels the apron, tossing it over it as it begins to get closer forcing it to jump to another on the other side of the ring which is witness to her slowly entering the ring. She walks to the centre and the lights begin to quiver again as she raises her arms in identical fashion to that on the ramp as the audience’s boos only strengthen in sound. The lights pulsate finally until they rest on a solid white and Neon walks slowly backwards into her corner, widening her smile and toying with her hair in her hands… Geoff Penzer: NEON’s back in action! This is first time stepping back into the ring since taking part in that hellacious Dog Collar Match against Sadie San Francisco for the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion back at Patriot Games. We’ll see how the Queen of Mean can bounce back after recovering for the past monHERE WE GO! The crowd boos when NEON runs across the ring and nearly takes Ash’s head off with a big boot. Geoff Penzer: My God, what a kick that was from the Queen of Mean! And she’s not done! NEON reaches down, yanks up Ash by the hair, heads into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. She then turns Ash around and pummels her down in the corner with a flurry of right hands. The boo birds fly when NEON stomps the hell out of Ash’s chest before applying a foot choke. The ref immediately gets in there and gives NEON until the count of five to break the choke. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… NEON reluctantly lets go. She then steps back towards the center of the ring, runs back into the corner and squashes Ash with a crossbody block. The boos continue as NEON reaches down, pulls Ash back up the hair and doubles her over with jumping knees to the abdomen and follows up with a double underhook suplex from out of the corner. Ash lays writhing in pain as NEON gets back to her feet. The Queen of Mean stalks her prey as she makes her way out of the corner. When Ash slowly turns over on all fours, NEON runs over and nails her with a punt kick to the ribs that knocks her over onto her back. She reaches down, pulls up Ash by the hair and sends her into the corner with an irish whip. NEON lines her up before running across the ring and knocking her down with a rolling wheel kick. The boos continue as NEON pulls up Ash by the hair, brings her from out of the corner and delivers a shinbreaker to the already hurt leg. While Ash hobbles, NEON runs into the ropes. When she comes back, she clips Ash’s leg from behind with a chop block. After tying up Ash’s legs, NEON turns her over into the Element of Pain (reverse cloverleaf). Ash howls in pain as the ref goes over and asks her if she wants to give up. When Ash refuses, NEON takes Ash foot and repeatedly hits her in the back of the head with it until Ash taps out. The crowd boos when “Lik Down” hits the speakers. Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner by submission, NEON! The boos continue when NEON gets her arm raised in victory. Geoff Penzer: NEON makes short work of Ash Fi in her return to the ring. It’ll be interesting to see what NEON does next here on Flashpoint...

Noelle comes out of the locker area, freshly cleaned up after her match against Brian Stryker, the tension from the match in the set of her shoulders though it’s clear that the adrenaline rush of competition is long since gone. She shakes her head and lets a small sigh of disappointment pass her lips as she walks past empty lockers and a tech or two going this way and that, her hands moving to put a large shiny purple scrunchy in her curly hair to pull it back from her face. Up ahead is catering and a small smile starts on her lips as she thinks about getting a cup of hot tea to calm her out before she starts to think about what could be next, her warm dark eyes even focus on the basket laid out on one of the tables that contains individual bags of tea. Noelle Smith: I hope there’s chamomile…. Noelle’s train of thought is cut off by a male voice that can be heard calling from off screen. Voice: You see, boys, I told you! Into the scene enters Ricky Valero flanked by Thy Kingdom Come mates Nate Bristow and Tully Barnes. Each one of them is chuckling to themselves as they walk up to Noelle. Ricky Valero: I told them we'd find you here, but Tully didn't want to believe me. An eye roll from Noelle evokes a sly grin from Ricky. He nudges Tully in the shoulder and points at her legs. Ricky Valero: Look at those thighs. The free food is the only thing that keeps her coming to the arena anymore. Bristow & Barnes chuckle again, exaggeratedly clutching at their guts and covering their mouths. Noelle tips her head at this, one hand actually extended to pick one of those teabags though she drops it and points a finger at Ricky. Noelle Smith: Look here Valero, it’s not my fault that not only do you seem lactose intolerant every time you bring this up, but you’re somehow unaware that thick thighs save lives. Ricky scoffs and snickers to himself as he basks in Noelle’s blatant annoyance at his mere presence in the cafeteria area with her. Ricky Valero: You’re not kidding. Those thighs could feed a whole village with all the cottage cheese stored up on them things. That trademark smirk creeps across his face. Noelle’s eyes narrow and she shakes her head before she turns back to the table and picks one of the teas, sighing just a little as they don’t even have the one she wants. She gets a cup of hot water and starts the process, giving Ricky another semi-annoyed look. Noelle Smith: Also someone - looking at you, Nate… should have told you exactly how that cologne you’re wearing smells. I mean, I guess I’m hoping that’s cologne? Please don’t try and front, it smells like flat Cool Water that you found in some grandpa’s medicine cabinet. Ricky and Tully turn toward Nate who, in a panic, takes a deep whiff off each underarm. His lip curls and he looks up at his stablemates and shrugs his shoulders. Ricky and Tully look on him with utter disgust. Ricky Valero: Nate notwithstanding, something definitely reeks around here, and the stench is coming from you, sweetheart. The trio suddenly surround Noelle as Ricky positions himself beside her. He leans against the table to get back in her point of view again. Ricky Valero: You really stunk it up out there tonight. For just a moment her disappointment shows but then she shakes her head again… though she’s also looking as if she’s seeking an exit as the trio get in close. Noelle Smith: Ricky, stop it. What do you really want, with all this? You don’t need to act like a thug, just tell people what your goals are. You’re so confusing. For a moment, Ricky is speechless, caught off guard by Noelle’s response. Ricky Valero: My goals? He quips, giving a glance over Noelle’s shoulder at Bristow & Barnes. Ricky Valero: My goal right now is to make your life a living hell. To be the buzzing in your ear and the nipping at your heel. You’re this nauseating ball of positivity, and I want to break you down inside and out until you have nothing left to give. He slides in closer to Noelle, their faces nearly touching as he stares down on her with a sinister look in his eyes. Ricky Valero: Everything you do, everywhere you go, I want to be the voice in the back of your head reminding you that you’re worthless. I want my presence to make your blood boil and my words to break your spirit. And then, when you’re clinging to whatever little bit of confidence you still somehow manage to possess inside you, when you think that at least the squared-circle is the one place where you can still feel comfortable, where you can still feel like you have a place in this world...a place you can call home...I want to be the one who rips the world out from under your feet and leaves you in a pool of your own blood in the center of that ring out there. Ricky sucks his teeth, taking deep breaths as his blue eyes burn holes through the longtime FGA mainstay in front of him. Ricky Valero: You are scum, Noelle. I know it, everyone here in the back knows it, and soon, the fans will know it, too. And then what? What becomes of Noelle Smith when she finally realizes that she is yesterday’s news, easily disposable, and nothing more than a useless, pathetic little minnow of a human being in a sea full of piranhas? What becomes of Noelle Smith when I leave you broken, insignificant...and the FGA fans all turn their back on you? A muscle clenches in her jaw despite the clear nervousness that has come over her at how close Ricky has gotten into her space. Every word seems to strike her, her hands shaking enough that she sets the tea down on the table before she drops it. Despite this, she calmly lifts a hand to flip her curls away from her shoulder, the lights shining off that purple scrunchy as she moves. Noelle Smith: What becomes of me? Well I guess I’ll just have to… Before he can reach up and grab her wrist to stop her, she hauls back with her hand and slaps him right across his face! For an instant a triumphant look crosses her face and then it seems to sink in that she’s quite alone in this situation and likely in a real amount of trouble. Ricky Valero: That was a big mistake. Some of the staff members working drop their mouths agape as the thunderous slap from Noelle still echoes down the hallway. Ricky removes his left hand from his cheek to reveal a throbbing red handprint embedded in his face. He doesn’t even need to say a word. All three of Ricky, Nate, and Tully draw in closer to her now with violent thoughts in mind as they stare down their noses at her. Voice: EL STRAVITOOOOOOO! Out of nowhere, a red blip comes sprinting down the hallway, leaps up onto a nearby table and springboards off with a diving crossbody that takes out Bristow & Barnes! Ricky was quick enough to duck out of the way, however, and he meets El Stravito with a running knee to the side of his head before he can even get back to his feet. He then follows that up, hurling El Stravito across the same table Noelle had been preparing her tea on. As hot tea splatters everyone, Ricky turns around to meet face to face with a grinning Noelle. Ricky is suddenly not so confident as he’s clocked with a stiff uppercut elbow and a knee to the midsection that drops him to a knee. He fires back with a right hand to Noelle’s thigh, a charlie horse that proves to be just enough of a distraction for Ricky to pop back up to his feet, ready to take over on the offensive. His plans for Noelle will have to wait though, as El Stravito soars back into the picture, connecting with a missile dropkick that sends Ricky stumbling backward onto the marble tile floor alongside his stablemates who are still trying to collect themselves. El Stravito checks on Noelle while beckoning Thy Kingdom Come to come on and bring the fight some more. The trio isn’t up for it on this night, however. With their message sent and Bristow & Barnes still scheduled for action later tonight, they back off down the hallway, firing off some more choice words before our scene finally fades out. ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

We return to the backstage area of Flashpoint as Brian Stryker is sitting back in a folding chair, two bags of ice wrapped around his knees as he takes a long sip of water. His head is back against the concrete wall of the arena as his 15 Title laid across his lap, eyes closed. It was another night at the office as he defended his title for the second week on a row and qualified for the Frontier Lion’s Cup as an added bonus.
Brian Stryker: Hello Amanda.
The Flashpoint interviewer was caught off guard by the statement as Brian didn’t even open his eyes, nor did she even say anything when she walked up.
Amanda Johnson: How did you?
Brian Stryker: I heard the heels. You came to ask about the Frontier Lion’s Cup and all that.
Amanda Johnson: Correct. Tonight made it two successful title defenses for you as the 15 Champion. Halfway to the elusive four defenses that allow you a cash in of the Pride Title. Some are saying you are looking more and more confident each week, is that because of the title?
Brian Stryker: Partly. You always run faster when you have people chasing you. When you got a target on your back like I do, you prepare each week like it’s the biggest match of your life. People have laughed at me when I claimed I was gonna do the impossible. That I was gonna make the 4 defense cash in. Well I’m halfway there and I don’t plan on stopping. The Quest to 4 continues and now, I got the Frontier Lion’s Cup to look forward to as well. Flashpoint will be the winner of that cup and yours truly will be bringing it home.
Amanda Johnson: That’s a very bold claim. There are a lot of talented wrestlers on Flashpoint, let alone in all of FGA. You believe you can run the gauntlet and beat them all? FGA is home to some unbelievable talent.
Brian Stryker: I believe I can and will. Simply because I’m Brian Flipping Stryker. I’m the Dad of Pro Wrestling. The Timeless One. The man who has been to hell and back again with a smile on my face. The CURRENT, REIGNING, DEFENDING FGA 15 Champion! I am a man with a mission and I’m stopping at nothing to get it. All eyes will be on the 15 Championship. All eyes on the Frontier Cup. All eyes will be on Brian Stryker. The future's looking bright, and it’s closer than you all think.
Amanda Johnson: Well there you go. Some VERY confident words from the 15 Champion, Brian Stryker. Back to you Geoff.

We pan backstage to a small locker room in the Xcel Energy Center, where new signee Kendall Kingham is tying her hair back in a neat ponytail. She's got a bounce in her step as she tries to stay loose for her debut match. Reaching into her bag, she pulls out an airbrushed jacket reading "MINNESO-READY FOR THE FLC!" Turning, she faces the cameras and smiles.
Kendall Kingham: Yoooo, what's up everyone, it's almost time! Ready to step into the Flashpoint zone for my big debut.
She gives a small clap of her hands.
Kendall KIngham: Kendall Kingham, one on one with the master of the Stunray Stunner, Stun Cold Stun Raisin-- Stunray! I've been studying him as best I can and feel as ready as I'll ever be. I might not know every trick he's got up his sleeve, he's been around a long time, but I've seen a lot of things too and diving in there against people with more experience isn't new for me. Most importantly, I know what I want and my goals--no offense to the dude-- are a bit bigger than him.
Kendall nods her head.
Kendall Kingham: I'm going full speed ahead and my expectation for myself is to make myself one of the best out there. Not saying it'll be easy, but I expect nothing less. So part of doing that is getting into the FLC: you look at people who've won that like Chandler, Cordy, Sands, I know there's more names I'm forgetting but my memory isn't great-- if you can do that you can say you're one of the best out there. But to even start thinking about that, I've gotta qualify and I'm willing to go as far as I have to so I can do that. Stunner, I'm not so sure if he is.
She shrugs
Kendall Kingham: It seems like his big priority for a while here was on rekindling some past love connection or something. Which is okay, whatever, then when he had a chance to put that behind him with a fresh start? He uhhhh .. decided not to put that behind him, or want to wrestle. So I don't know where his head is gonna be at tonight, but I'm going to hope it's on wrestling me, I'm going to hope I get the guy who looks like Gordon Ramsey but fights like Gordie Howe! Because if this opportunity isn't enough to bring the best out of him? I dunno what is, and maybe he needs to take some vacation time or something instead of letting them keep booking him in matches.
Kendall throws her hands up as if not knowing what else to say about him.
Kendall Kingham: We've already got enough people not wanting to do what they get paid to do. I'm here to make this the best wrestling show I can, and to be the best wrestler I can. Maybe it's just me, but this seems like a chance to me with these new brands for everyone on each roster to step up, be a leader and show what they want to be know for. If nobody else agrees? That's still what I'm gonna do, so get ready!
Reaching into her jacket pocket, Kendall throws her shutter shades on and then steps through the door out to the hallway as we cut away.

★★★ FRONTIER LIONS CUP (QUALIFYING ROUND) ★★★ Stunray vs. Kendall Kingham The lights drop, and multi-colored ones start strobing around as "Professional Griefers" starts up to the cheers of the crowd. Kendall Kingham emerges into sight wearing her regular gear, sunglasses, and an airbrushed jacket. Kendall bounces on the balls of her toes before making her way down the ramp, slapping a few hands along the way. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Qualifying Match in the Frontier Lions Cup! Introducing first, from Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan, New York… KENDALLLL KIIINGHAAAMMMM!!! She hops up on the apron, runs to an unoccupied corner, and climbs to the second turnbuckle. Raising a fist to a pop from the crowd, she slingshots herself inside, and removes her jacket and glasses as the lights come back on while her music fades. Geoff Penzer: Kendall Kingham makes her FGA in-ring debut here tonight and boy does she have a heck of an opportunity in front of her! A win here tonight would advance her into the First Round of the Frontier Lions Cup. But standing in her way is Stunray. Two weeks ago, we saw the bizarre scene of Stunray walking out on his match against Robbie Black. Kingham isn’t the only one hoping to see a fighting Stunray walk through those curtains here tonight. The signature guitar riff of “Psycho” by Muse blasts into the excited air and a chorus of boos emanates from the sold out arena. The drums start pounding away as Stunray would normally step through the curtain at this time. However, he's nowhere to be found. Melanie Sierra: And her opponent, from Rochester, New York! Weighing in at 235 pounds…. STUUUNNRAAAAYYY!!! "Psycho" continues to play until the music dies down. Suddenly, a disheveled Stunray slowly makes his way through the curtain and down to the ramp. Geoff Penzer: Not this again... Stunray isn't dressed to compete. Instead, he’s in street clothes. The somber looks Stunray scans the arena. But there’s no fires in his eyes. After slowly making his way up the ring steps, he enters through the ropes. As soon as the bell sounds, Kingham goes over to initiate a lock up. Instead of engaging, Stunray drops to his back before rolling to the outside. Boos can be heard throughout the arena as Stunray begins to circle the ring with his hands on his hips. Kingham is motioning for Stunray to get back in the ring. But Stunray continues to ignore her while keeps his eyes glued to the floor. After lapping the ring for a second time, Stunray turns and begins walking up the aisle. Kingham tries to stop the referee from counting him out. But the ref has no choice but to do his job. The ref reaches a count of five when Stunray walks through the curtain. Kingham leans against the ropes shaking her head while the ref continues to count. Once he reaches ten, he calls for the bell. Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner as a result of a countout, KENDALL KINGHAM! The crowd boos as Kingham gets her arm raised. But they’re not booing Kingham. They’re booing Stunray and his decision to throw in the towel. Geoff Penzer: The crowd aren’t the only ones disappointed with Stunray here tonight. Kendall Kingham hoped for a fight! She wanted an actual challenger in her FGA in-ring debut! Instead, Stunray has walked out of yet another match! You’ve got to imagine that Hadley Herrera is not pleased with Stunray over the past three weeks. ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

★★★ PREVIOUSLY RECORDED ★★★ Having turned back the challenge of Dom Harter, we catch up with Johnny Karma as he sits in his dressing room in the immediate aftermath of the match and he is not in good shape, as the adrenaline is strickling out of his system and all that is left is the reason he's clasping an ice pack to his shoulder - because he's hurting, as evidenced by the slightly out of it tone to his voice as he speaks Johnny Karma: If somebody told me this time last year that I'd actually be thankful that I missed out on the Frontier Lions Cup, I'd most likely look at them with the sort of look that I get when I tell people I've never watched a single episode of Game of Thrones. But after not only being dragged through the wringer feet-first not only to win the title, but in back-to-back matches where I defended it against half of the Hall of Fame, I have to say one thing: geloybt gat for the Frontier Lions Cup, as my body is wondering what the heck I've been doing to it lately. Wincing as he tries to move the ice pack, Karma continues Johnny Karma: I'm sure a few people were expecting me to be sat here, composing a pithy tweet where I'd remind Dom Harter about the bold predictions he'd been making ever since our match was official, but even if I wanted to I'd have to ask what the point would be? Harter knows he lost, and if he somehow wasn't aware and came barging in here demanding the title be handed over it wouldn't take long before he had it explained to him, so why rub his nose in it? Contrary to what he says, if the option comes down to acting like a champion or acting like a shmendrik, I'm taking the first option. And, no, that's not a challenge. As he gets a moment of blessed relief due to his body pumping a buttload of endorphins through his system, Cherry Baum pops her head around the locker room door and she's obviously got some news Cherry Baum: So the battle royale's been settled. Johnny Karma: So what's what? Cherry Baum: Molly Reid's got the title shot. With a grimace, most likely due to the endorphins wearing off - but just as likely for other reasons - Karma allows a wry smile to form on his face at the news Johnny Karma: One member of the New Murder down, four more to go... Karma shakes his head, yet oddly he seems to find the situation amusing rather than another in a long line of kicks to the teeth Johnny Karma: I guess I'm going to be even more thankful for having that week off.

★★★ FRONTIER LIONS CUP (QUALIFYING ROUND) ★★★ Yun Goeun vs. El Stravito "They say, I have no answers... They see me as a problem child. I'm just young and free. (Ay Ay) They say, I don't listen. I should say the same thing. What chu know 'bout me? (Huh?) They say that I'm crazy. Its okay, everybody is crazy. Why not me? (Ay Ay) They say, that I'll never make it. But all I want to be is my self." "FxxK Wit Us" by Lee Hi plays over the PA system as Yun Goeun comes out from the back to a chorus of boos. Yun smirks and ignores the boos as she walks down to the ring. Yun continues to make her way to the ring, not once even so much as looking to the fans. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is Qualifying Match for the Frontier Lions Cup! Introducing first, from Seoul, South Korea… YUN GOEUN!!! As Yun reaches the ring she slides in and quickly walks to her corner and sits down, crossing her legs as she does, leaning back against the lower turnbuckle. Geoff Penzer: Yun Goeun fell victim to Mark Storm two weeks ago on Flashpoint. She could bounce back here tonight in a big way and punch her ticket to the First Round in the Frontier Lions Cup... The music starts and different colored lights flash around. Once the beat drops, El Stravito rolls out from the curtain and pops up on stage. He makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans on each side. Melanie Sierra: And her opponent, from San José, Costa Rica! Weighing in at 185 pounds… ELLLLL STRAAAAVAIIIIITOOOOO!!! El Stravito dances to his music on the ring steps before flipping over the ropes into the ring. Stravito leaps on the top turnbuckle to hype the fans as the music dies down. Geoff Penzer: After getting into an altercation with Thy Kingdom Come two weeks ago, El Stravito came to the aid of Noelle Smith earlier tonight as they sent Ricky Valero and his goons retreating. While all three men are still in the arena, El Stravito’s got to block them out and focus on advancing in the Frontier Lions Cup. Stravito and Yun circle the ring before motioning for a lock up. At the last second, Yun doubles him over with a boot to the midsection. The boos continue as Yun grabs Stravito, runs into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Stravito around, Yun applies a foot choke while pulling down on the top rope. The ref gives Yun to the count of five to break the choke or else she’s disqualified. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Yun breaks the hold. She then takes Stravito and goes for an irish whip. But Stravito reverses, sending her crashing into the turnbuckles, Stravito runs across the ring to attack. But he gets dumped to the outside with a back body drop. Thankfully for Stravito, he lands safely on his feet. After leaping up onto the apron, he gets doubled over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes from Yun. A running high knee lift knocks Stravito down onto the apron. The boos continue as Yun picks up Stravito and sets him up for a DDT on the apron. But Stravito is able to counter with a back boy drop, sending Yun to the floor. Stravito makes his way along the apron while Yun stirs on the floor. Once Yun turns over and gets back to a vertical base, the crowd cheers when Stravito runs along the apron before leaping off and taking her down with a flying hurricanrana. Stravito rolls back inside and heads across the ring into the opposite corner. As Yun gets back to her feet on the outside, Stravito runs across the ring, springboards onto the top turnbuckle, flips back and knocks her down with a moonsault. Geoff Penzer: Stravito wipes out Yun with a moonsault to the outside! He’s got this capacity crowd on their feet! Stravito picks up Yun and rolls her back inside. After climbing up onto the apron, he gets back into the ring with a slingshot senton. He turns over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Yun gets her foot on the bottom rope. Stravito picks up Yun, moves her into the corner and doubles her over with an open hand chop to the chest. After switching positions in the corner, Stravito hoists himself up onto the middles ropes and sets up for a Tornado DDT. But Yun is able to slip out and follow up with a dropkick, sending Stravito flipping over the top rope and tumbling down to the floor. Geoff Penzer: Stravito with a hard fall to the outside! Yun rolls to the outside, picks up Stravito and throws him head-first into the guardrail. After putting the boots to the luchador, she picks him up and whips him down ringside into the guardrail. Stravito lets out a grunt as soon as his back collides with the steel guardrail. The luchador arches his back in pain before slowly dropping down to his knees. After Yun makes her way down ringside, she shoves the timekeeper out of the way before taking Stravito and slamming him face-first onto the chair’s seat. She then picks up Stravito, sits him down in the chair and wallops him with a punch to the jaw. As a dazed Stravito sits in the chair, Yun makes her way down ringside… only to turn around, charge back down the other way and nail Stravito with a yakuza kick. Yun slams the back of his head against the guardrail before latching onto the mask and tries to rip it apart. But the ref quickly goes over and moves her out of the way. Geoff Penzer: Yun tried to rip Stravito’s mask off and expose his identity to the world! Talk about disrespect! But I shouldn’t expect anything less from Yun, who was shown nothing but disrespect since resurfacing several months ago... Yun grabs a hold of Stravito before rolling him back inside. After she slides back in, Yun picks up Stravito and sends him into the corner with an irish whip. She runs over to attack. But Stravito hoists himself up onto the middle ropes, nails her with a front kick to the face and follows up with a Tornado DDT. Stravito gets back to his feet, picks up Yun and goes for an irish whip. But Yun reverses, sending him into the ropes. When Stravito returns, Yun sets up for a back body drop. Stravito counters with a kick to the face, standing her upright. He then hits her with a reverse discus elbow, doubles her over with a back kick to the midsection, turns around and hops onto her back before following up with a sunset flip powerbomb. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Yun gets her shoulder up. Stravito snapmares Yun over before running into the ropes. When he returns, he flattens her with a front dropkick. After rolling over and getting back to his feet, Stravito slingshots himself onto the apron and waits for Yun to get in position. When Yun gets back to her feet, Stravito goes for a springboard dropkick. But Yun swats him down. She then pulls him up from behind before driving him face-first into the canvas with the Billionaire Bust (The Stroke). The boos continue as she turns Stravito over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Stravito gets his shoulder up. After sending Stravito into the corner with an irish whip, Yun runs across the ring and nails him with double knees. She then throws him down out of the corner before stepping through the ropes. As Yun climbs up to the top turnbuckle, Stravito runs up to the top turnbuckles, hooks her arm and throws her down with a top rope arm drag. Once Yun gets back to her feet, Stravito runs across the ring to attack. Yun pops him up into the air. But on the way down, the crowd cheers after Stravito lands on her shoulders before spiking her with a hurricanrana. After picking Yun back up and delivering a pendulum backbreaker, Stravito heads into the corner, springboards to the top turnbuckle, flips off and crashes down across Yun with the Suicida (Phoenix Splash). He hooks the leg… ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd cheers when "Gasolina (Blasterjaxx Remix)" hits the speakers. Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner, EL STRAVITO! The cheers continue as Stravito gets his arm raised in victory. Geoff Penzer: El Stravito gets the win here tonight over Yun Goeun and advances to the First Round in the Frontier Lions Cup, much to the chagrin of Thy Kingdom Come, I would presume. Stay tuned, because coming up next, we will hear from none other than Chandler Scott! Will he accept Cordy Stevenson’s challenge? Will he turn her down? We will find out, right after this! ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

The lights dim as the sound of a guitar plays throughout the arena. Red lasers soon begin to shoot out from the stage. Once their attention has been captured, the crowd turns to the entryway to prepare for the man that's about to walk out. At the 25 second mark, “Animal Ghosts” bursts through the speakers. Chandler Scott pushes through the curtain to a loud ovation from the crowd. Chandler makes his way down to the ring with a smirk on his face. After slapping hands with one or two lucky fans, he leaps onto the apron and enters through the ropes. Chandler times his ascension onto the middle ropes with the beginning of the chorus. The crowd sings along with the chorus while puts his hand above his eyes to scan the crowd. He smirks as he slowly slaps his chest three times before pointing to a lucky fan in the crowd. When the chorus ends, Chandler hops off the middle ropes, turns and lands on his feet. He calls for a microphone as the lights come back on. His theme music dies down as he begins pacing back and forth with a mic in hand. " CHANDLER!" chants begin to fill up the Xcel Energy Center. But Chandler's quick to wave them off. Chandler Scott: Thank you, thank you. But we're actually not here to talk about me tonight. We're here to talk about someone else. We're here to talk about the first FGA Undisputed Champion. Of course, I'm talking about... Cordy Stevenson. A roar of cheers is heard throughout the arena. Chandler Scott: I take it you guys are fans, yeah? The crowd confirms with a roaring ovation, followed by thunderous " CORDY! CORDY! CORDY!" chants. Chandler smiles. Chandler Scott: Two weeks ago, Cordy came down to this ring. She looked like a woman that hasn't been on the sidelines since May. She looked like a woman who was ready to go and make her trek back to the top of FGA. But she didn't announce any intentions of trying to get the Undisputed Championship back. She didn't do any of that. Instead... she announced her retirement. The crowd boos the thought of Cordy retiring from the squared circle. Chandler Scott: Or rather, she announced that she was retiring because before she hangs up the boots for the last time, she wants one more match. She wants one last match to give you people before she called it a career. And realistically, she could have chosen anyone. She could have chosen Izzy Anders before that trashbox decided to take her ball and go home. The crowd boos at the mention of The Dreamkiller's name. " FUCK YOU, IZZY!" chants begin to shoot out from the crowd. Chandler can't help but to chuckle at the reaction. Chandler Scott: She could have chosen the woman that's been stealing her moves all summer long and doing a poor impression of her. A piss poor impression, might I add. Her and Karma are cool. What better way to go out than with a match against the Undisputed Champion? She could have done one better and requested a championship match for the title that was stolen from her all those months ago. And who here would have objected? She could have chosen Cyncity for her final match. Who wouldn't love to see Sex Sells going at it one more time? Or what about her final match being against the man that brought her into the business, her mentor, Kerry Windsor? Cheers are heard from the crowd after the mention of all those names. Chandler Scott: She could have chosen any number of names, both in and out of FGA. But instead, she chose... me. Chandler smirks as another roar of cheers are heard from the crowd, followed by " FGAce" chants" Chandler Scott: Out of all the people in the world, Cordelia Stevenson wants her final match to be against yours truly. Queen Petty herself has called me out for her retirement match. Heh. You know... me and Cordy have been through a lot, haven't we? From arch rivals... to friends... to... Chandler gesticulates with his hands. Chandler Scott: Whatever this thing is right now. She is a woman that I have stood toe to toe with inside this ring. I've pushed her like no one else has ever pushed her before. She's given me the fight of her life. When we've stood face to face inside the squared circle, we've looked at each other with both admiration and absolute contempt. The two of us have been in this business for a bit. We've both spent time at the top of this company. When you think back to all of the people we've gone to war with over the years, you could argue that we're both each other's top rival. But at the end of the day, there was always respect there. No matter what was said in the leadup of those battles... no matter what happened inside this ring... at the end of the day, there was always respect for each other. Chandler Scott: ... that is, until a few months ago, when this happened. Play the footage, please... 02-18-17 | "GRAPPLE KINGDOM" There is a strong mixed reaction coming from the crowd after seeing that footage from the first time in months. Chandler keeps his eyes locked on the Tron. His eyes narrowed. He turns away from the Tron and continues... Chandler Scott: Things between you and I haven't quite been the same since that night, Cordy. You thought that by me "interjecting" myself into that match as the Special Guest Referee, that I was making it aaaaaall about me. You thought that I was taking your moment - your chance to prove that you were the true champion of FGA - and making it all about me. So you responded by doing what you did in that clip. That was the moment that things really became strained between you and I. That was the moment when I figured that all respect between the two of us was lost... until two weeks ago. You didn't just call me out for any match, Cordy. You bestowed upon me the honor of facing you in your last match ever. That's not something you do for someone that you can't stand. That isn't something you do for someone that you hate. That's something that you do for someone that you have the utmost respect for. Applause can be heard from the St. Paul crowd. Chandler Scott: And it would be pretty disrespectful of me to turn that opportunity down. You've been nothing but selfless since coming into this industry, Cordy. You've given yourself to this business and to this company time and time and time again. So why not give you something in return. So what do you, say guys? Cordy and Chandler, one more time, for the last time? A loud pop can be heard throughout the Xcel Energy Center. Chandler Scott: I can't hear you, St. Paul! You've gotta be louder than that! Thunderous " YES!!!!!" chants make their way throughout the arena. Chandler nods. Chandler Scott: You want me in the ring one more time? You got it! See you at the Anniversary Show, chica. With that, Scott flips the mic over his shoulder to a loud pop from the crowd. "Animal Ghosts" plays throughout the arena as various shots show fans getting hyped at the announcement. Geoff Penzer: It is official! Chandler Scott has accepted Cordy Stevenson's challenge! It will be Cordy Stevenson vs. Chandler Scott, one more time, in her retirement match at the Six year Anniversary Show! I cannot wait! ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

Peaches: What the hell?
She says as Ashlyn hands her a Nintendo 3DS. Both women are still dressed as before, but now Peaches looks confused, whereas Ashlyn has a confident smirk on her face, as well as another Nintendo 3DS in her own hands.
Ashlyn De Luca: You’re stepping into my domain now, Peaches. Pokémon Sun and Moon. Six on six, battle time!
Ashlyn exclaims in excitement, eyes wide, but Peaches struggles to even turn on the 3DS.
Peaches: Nah, I ain’t much of a gamer.
Ashlyn De Luca: But you’re a drinker, right?
An exasperated sigh escapes her lips as Peaches just shakes her head. The bottle of Corona in her hand during each of her promos in 3GW and LDFC would confirm that yes, she is a drinker. The pair are just tuning up when their respective partners arrive on the scene.
Logan Alexander: I’d say I’m surprised… but I really can’t say it convincingly.
The voice of her partner comes from just behind Ashlyn, whose eyebrows raise a bit
Ashlyn De Luca: Yooo…!
In all of her seeming excitement, she apparently hadn’t heard his approach. Walking past the Chaotics, Dan Herrera moves over to join Peaches.
Dan Herrera: This really just raises more questions than answers.
Dan and Logan watch over their shoulders at the handheld gaming devices in their hands as Ashlyn and Peaches gear up for the battle.
Ashlyn De Luca: Don’t worry, Dan, I’ve raised that team myself.
Peaches: ...help?
Dan Herrera: You’re asking the wrong man there.
Ashlyn laughs again as the battle starts. Peaches sending out a Galvantula, whereas Ashlyn starts with a Steelix. A sticky web covering Ashlyn’s team on the first go, before Ashlyn’s Steelix unleashes an earthquake, knocking Galvantula down to nearly half health.
Ashlyn De Luca: God. Damn. Peaches, what was that?
Peaches: Ain’t played a Pokémon game since Red and Blue.
Ashlyn De Luca: Not even Go?
Peaches: Didn’t really appeal to me…
She shrugs, withdrawing Galvantula in favor of a Crobat as the Steelix uses stealth rock. The next turn and Ashlyn uses a key stone to mega evolve Steelix into Mega Steelix, as Peaches follows up with defog … knocking away the sticky web she laid down a few turns back. Ashlyn quirks an eyebrow at her opponent, noting the frustration on Peaches’ face.
Dan Herrera: Guessing you didn’t want to do that?
Peaches: Probably not…
Ashlyn De Luca: Definitely not.
A heavy slam from the Mega Steelix knocks Crobat down to around 30%, and Peaches looks worried. Her eyes flicking over the rest of her Pokémon team to try and figure out who can take on a Mega Steelix; Ashlyn remains focused, smirking across the room at her opponent.
Logan Alexander: I don’t really think I can keep up with this. I played through a Pokemon game once… I don’t remember if it was red or blue. Just that it was likely two decades ago...
Dan Herrera: Join the club.
Ashlyn De Luca: This is important. Just gimme a sec! I’m a professional. We’ll wrap this up quick. I’m comin’ for that ass, Peaches!
A u-turn by Crobat - well, it’s not very effective as Peaches shakes her head again. But it allows her to switch Crobat for a Sceptile. Another stealth rock goes up as Ashlyn plays defense, before switching out for Conkelderp. Now it’s Peaches’ turn to use a key stone, mega evolving Sceptile into Mega Sceptile, before going for a focus blast - and missing! A leaf storm follows as Conkelderp is knocked down to 40%. Ashlyn uses knock off, taking Mega Sceptile down to nearly half health. But Peaches swaps him out for Crobat again - only for Crobat to take damage due to the stealth rock!
Meanwhile, Geoff Penzer clears his throat and begins commentary with a sigh.
Geoff Penzer: Lucky break for Conkelderp! Crobat is eliminated from the match! Someone else has to enter by rule or the ref’s gonna throw this out!
Ashlyn De Luca: Dumbass.
She quips as Conkelderp’s poison jab causes Crobat to faint! The Sceptile reappears and takes some damage from the stealth rock.
Geoff Penzer: Bad luck for Sceptile! Knocked down a level right after becoming the legal competitor!
Peaches: Damn, damn, damn…
Ashlyn swaps out Conkelderp before another leaf storm can take him out, swapping him out for Darmanitan. The ensuing leaf storm isn’t very effective, but still takes Darmanitan down to below half health. Peaches swaps the Mega Sceptile out for Arcanine, taking some more damage from the stealth rock before Ashlyn uses u-turn, taking some damage due to Arcanine’s rocky helmet before being swapped out for the Mega Steelix again.
Geoff Penzer: Hot tag!
A will-o-wisp causes Mega Steelix to take burn damage, but Ashlyn brings out the big guns with another earthquake - it’s super effective! Critical hit! And Arcanine is down into the red.
Geoff Penzer: Team Peaches is in trouble! Arcanine needs to make the tag!
Peaches: Damn! Damn! Damn!
Ashlyn De Luca: I thought it’d be more difficult than this.
Logan eyes his partner suspiciously.
Logan Alexander: ...uh huh.
Dan Herrera: What’s morning sun?
Ashlyn’s eyes widen in horror as she watches Arcanine’s HP get restored. Mega Steelix tries to use toxic, but it misses as Arcanine uses flare blitz! It takes some damage from the recoil, but Mega Steelix was barely affected. So Ashlyn uses another heavy slam, knocking out Arcanine and going two up. The Galvantula reappears, taking yet more damage from the rocks, before an earthquake from Mega Steelix causes that one to faint as well!
Peaches: ...I give in.
Ashlyn De Luca: Already? You’ve still got, like, three Pokémon left.
Peaches: Nah, I can’t do this. I ain’t a gamer, I ain’t got a clue what I’m doing.
She folds up the 3DS, effectively ending the battle as she hands it back to Ashlyn.
Geoff Penzer: A forfeit! Ring the b… ahem…
Logan Alexander: You could have played it out for pride. I know it’s not fun being put at a disadvantage, but you can still get something out of it.
Dan Herrera: You gotta know when to hold them, know when to fold them…
Ashlyn De Luca: Hey. Fine. Fine. This wouldn’t have proved much anyway, I guess… but my gut deserves some revenge. Frickin… flip cup… stupidest… fffff…
Logan lays a hand on Ashlyn’s shoulder.
Logan Alexander: Easy there. You got played last time. No need to go the same route. Better to take the high road.
Ashlyn De Luca: Went down like a champ last time. Actually. Thank you.
Ashlyn clears her throat again, glancing at Peaches and Dan.
Ashlyn De Luca: Seriously though. If we cannot respect the most legendary gaming series of our generation, whooo’s to say they’re not gonna be like ‘nah, screw this, nah, not for me, nah’ during the Tag Team Title match? I hope you guys don’t like-- walk out if it gets too rough.
Peaches: You callin’ us chicken?
Dan Herrera: No, I’m sure they’re not doing that, right? After all we’ve been through with The Keisters, The Elysian Empire, Pedro & Maritza. They’re not going to stand there and accuse us of backing away from a challenge…
Peaches: Nah, not after all Dan did to get back what The Usual Suspects and Zero McHannon stole from him. Now after all we did down in Texas and Arkansas. Ashlyn an’ Logan ain’t gonna stand here an’ tell us we’re gonna back down from the winners of the Dynamic Duos.
Logan crosses his arms over his chest as he regards the champions.
Logan Alexander: To be fair… I’d say we’re more battle hardened than that Empire and your other challengers.
Ashlyn looks at Logan with a semi-surprised look, which evolves into an impressed one as she gives her partner a once-over.
Ashlyn De Luca: Damn, Logan. Modest A-F. Love it.
Dan Herrera: Battle Hardened...
Herrera chuckles, noting the use of Chris Bond’s moniker - especially after Bond’s recent turn to the dark side! But Peaches just shakes her head in response.
Peaches: Real cute, guys. Real cute.
Logan Alexander: There’s nothing cute about it. We know that you’ve taken the early edge against us, in and out of the ring.
He shifts his arms out in front of him and claps for them. It’s not slow or sarcastic, but it seems like a loaded action.
Logan Alexander: But don’t get comfortable with that line of thinking. You might think that you’re stars because of what you’ve accomplished elsewhere, but just because you’ve got the belts here, doesn’t mean you’ve faced a serious challenge to this point. You two have beaten three good teams.
He points to Ashlyn and himself.
Logan Alexander: We got through a field of twenty three of the best teams around.
Ashlyn looks slightly surprised again, but doesn’t say anything, looking at Logan for a bit before shrugging and nodding, looking at Peaches and Herrera.
Ashlyn De Luca: We did.
Dan Herrera: I remember what that’s like, believe me. Cordy and I did the same thing last year, the difference is that we went on and became the FGA World Tag Team Champions. And if it’s not Status Quo, then it’s the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad, and we became tag champs as well. But The Chaotics? You’ll go down in the record books along with The Young Guns--
Peaches: Y’all know who they are?
Dan Herrera: --as the teams who couldn’t go on to become the tag champs after winning Dynamic Duos!
Logan Alexander: Don’t be so sure Dan. We’ve heard a lot of that talk from a lot of talented teams. They all figured that they’d beat us. We proved every single one of them wrong.
The two men suddenly tensing up as they glare at one another. Now it’s down to Peaches and Ashlyn to calm their partners down; each woman turns to their partner, pushing them back a step to put some distance between them.
Ashlyn De Luca: Calm datass, you’ve got Evan to focus on tonight.
Peaches: We’ll get ‘em at the anniversary show, babe, so save that aggression for Bristow & Barnes tonight.
Ashlyn De Luca: Yeah. And try not to fall off the turnbuckles this time, newbs.
Peaches: What did you say?!
The two women turn again, getting right up in each other’s faces as they continue arguing; Dan and Logan continue glaring at each other as the show heads back to ringside for the next proper wrestling match.

★★★ FRONTIER LIONS CUP (QUALIFYING ROUND) ★★★ Savannah Taylor vs. Robbie Black "Take Your Place" by The Underachievers plays through the speakers and emerging from the back is Robbie Black, who nods his head as the fans rise from their seats and applaud him. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Qualifying Match for the 2017 Frontier Lions Cup! Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan! Weighing in at 236 pounds! He is “The Bullet” ROBBIEEEEE BLAAAACK!!! "The Bullet" stands on the top of the entrance ramp and he shoots his imaginary gun towards the ring before swaggering his way down, high-fives to a few of the audience members before he slams the apron with his fists and climbs the ring steps, hoisting himself up onto the second rope on the outside of the ring. He looks around, a smile on his face before entering the ring, lowering his stance as he poses for the fans. Geoff Penzer: Robbie Black got his first FGA win two weeks ago against Stunray. But his win over Stunray mirrored Kendall Kingham’s win over Stunray earlier tonight. I can guarantee you that Black’s opponent here tonight will not be walking away from this matchup. There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper. Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you. On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage. Inside me a light was turned on… The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies. Then I was alive! In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body. Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, from Las Vegas, Nevada… SAVANNAAAH TAAAAYYYLOORRRRRR!!! If you close your eyes your life, A naked truth revealed Dreams you never lived, And scars never healed Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do. In the darkness, light will take you to the other side You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon. Geoff Penzer: Savannah Taylor is still in a mood after her Pride Championship loss against Chris Madison a little under a month ago at Trouble in Paradise. But right now, she’s got an opportunity to get back into title contention. But not for the Pride Championship. She’s got a long road ahead of her and Robbie Black could pull off the upset here tonight. But a win here on Flashpoint could put her on the path to an Undisputed Championship match should she make it all the way to the end and win the 2017 Frontier Lions Cup tournament. The bell sounds as Taylor and Black lock up in the center of the ring. After jockeying for position, Black begins to move Taylor across the ring and towards the ropes. At the last second, Taylor pivots and presses Black against the ropes. The ref then heads over and gives both grapplers until the count of five to break it up. When the ref reaches “Four!”, both grapplers make a clean break… until Taylor cracks him across the face with a forearm strike. The boos continues when Taylor takes Black and whips him into the far ropes. When Black returns, Taylor runs across the ring and flattens him with a yakuza kick. She drops down to make the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Black kicks out. Taylor makes another lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . Black kicks out again. Taylor quickly shifts over into a mounted position and begins raining down a flurry of short-range punches to the face. She then brings Black back to his feet, runs and tosses him through the ropes and to the floor. As Black begins to pick himself back up, Taylor runs into the far ropes. When she comes back, she connects with a baseball slide that knocks Black back against the guardrail. She then slips out onto the apron before pulling herself up using the ropes. After taking a quick look back to gauge the distance, Taylor connects with an Asai Moonsault, taking Black down to boos from the crowd. Geoff Penzer: Taylor takes out Black with her signature Asai Moonsault! Taylor picks up Black, slams him face-first onto the mat and shoves him back inside the ring. After rolling herself back in, she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Black kicks out. Taylor picks up Black, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Black around, Taylor unleashes a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. She then sends him into the opposite corner with an irish whip before running across the ring to attack. But Black counters with a back elbow to the face before hoisting himself up onto the middle ropes and knocking her down with a diving shoulder block. Once Taylor gets back up, Black grabs her by the wrist and goes for an irish whip. But the Las Vegas Siren reverses, sending him into the ropes. When Black returns, Taylor leapfrogs over him as he performs a forward roll. Once Taylor lands on her feet and turns around, she turns into a pelé kick from Black. Black then takes Taylor and sends her into the ropes with an irish whip. When she returns, he goes for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. But Taylor is able to counter with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. Once Black gets back to a vertical base, Taylor rushes back over and throws out another yakuza kick. This time, Taylor catches his foot. After swinging her leg away from him, Black follows up with a leg hook belly to back suplex. The cheers continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Taylor kicks out. Black picks up Taylor and goes for a vertical suplex. But she blocks the move before reverses into a small package. ONE! . . TWO! . . Black kicks out. After both grapplers return to their feet, Taylor throws out the Desert Rose (spinning backfist). But Black swats it down, counters with a high impact backhand and follows up wit the Elimination Lariat (high impact short-arm lariat). He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Taylor gets her shoulder up. Black picks up Taylor and lifts her up onto his shoulders for a powerbomb. But before he can throw her down, Taylor nails him with a flurry of punches to the top of the head. After slipping down in front of Black, Taylor follows up with a roundhouse kick that drops Black down to a knee. She then quickly turns and runs into the ropes. When Taylor returns, the crowd boos when she flattens him with a Shining Wizard. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Black gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Another nearfall for Taylor in this back and forth contest. Robbie Black is proving that he can hang with the Las Vegas Siren... Taylor picks up Black and whips him into the corner with an irish whip. She then runs across the ring to attack. But this time, she gets knocked back by a boot to the face. While Taylor shakes off the blow. Black hoists himself up onto the middle ropes. But before he can dive off, Taylor quickly reaches over, grabs him by the ankle and yanks him off, sending him crashing back-first onto the canvas. Taylor then turns away from him before hitting a standing moonsault. She hooks the leg for the cover… ONE! . . TWO! . . Black gets his shoulder up. Taylor brings Black back to his feet and hits him with three punches to the face before sending him into the ropes. When Black returns, Taylor throws out a clothesline. But Black ducks and runs into the opposite set of ropes. When he returns, Taylor throws out the Desert Rose. But again, Black ducks and runs into the ropes. When Black returns, Taylor takes him off his feet with a dropkick. She then steps out onto the apron before walking over towards the ring post and climbing the turnbuckles. Just as she’s got one foot on the top turnbuckle, Black runs into the corner, grabs Taylor and throws her down with an avalanche overhead belly to belly suplex. The cheers continue as he crawls across the ring and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Taylor gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Black with a huge suplex from off the top ropes. But it only gets a count of two. Black picks up Taylor and goes for another powerbomb. But as soon as Taylor is lifted up onto his shoulders, she begins to punch him on the top of the head. She then flips back to reverse into a hurricanrana. But Black blocks, leaving Taylor hanging upside down. After lifting Taylor back up, Black runs across the ring and delivers a turnbuckle powerbomb. After Taylor bounces off the turnbuckles and staggers back over towards him, Black lifts her up, turns and throws her down with a spinning spinebuster. He rolls across Taylor and hooks the leg for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Taylor gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Another nearfall for Robbie Black! He senses the opportunity at hand. He knows that this would be the biggest win of his young career by far and he’s pulling out all the stops! Black picks up Taylor, only to throw her back down with a scoop slam. He then heads into the corner, scales to the top turnbuckle and flips back for a moonsault. But he ends up crashing across Taylor’s knees. Geoff Penzer: Taylor got her knees up! As Black tries to get up off the mat, Taylor runs over and brings him down with The Gamble (corkscrew neckbreaker). After dragging him into position, Taylor steps out onto the apron, scales to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and crashes down across him with a Frog Splash. She then hops back onto the apron through the ropes, climbs up to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and Frog Splashes him again. She hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Black gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Black avoided the dreaded three count. But his ribs have to be killing him after those two Frog Splashes. Taylor picks up Black and doubles him over with a knee to the midsection before applying an abdominal stretch. The ref asks Black if he wants to give up. When Black refuses, Taylor nails him with a pointed elbow strike to the ribs. Black can be seen cringing in pain from the submission hold. The ref continues to check in with him and asks if he wants to give up. When Black refuses, Taylor lets go, turns him around and plants him with a DDT. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Black gets his shoulder up. Taylor picks up Black and sends him into the turnbuckle with an irish whip. After running across the ring and connecting with a corner yakuza kick, Taylor turns Black around and lifting him up onto the middle ropes. She then heads back out onto the apron before positioning herself on the ropes. Taylor goes to set him up for an avalanche shiranui. But Black slips out, quickly grabs her from behind and delivers an avalanche German Suplex into the ring to cheers and applause from the crowd. Geoff Penzer: What a suplex by Robbie Black! After landing on her stomach, Taylor bounces off the apron and rolls over onto her back. Black pulls himself across the ring. Geoff Penzer: Go for it, Robbie! This is your big chance! Black slowly drapes his arm across Taylor’s chest for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! The crowd sighs, then boos when Taylor gets her shoulder up. Black brings Taylor back to her feet and delivers alternating forearm strikes and European Uppercuts. He then goes to follow up with a discus elbow strike. But Taylor cuts him off with the Desert Rose. While Black is dazed, Taylor turns him around before driving him down face-first into the canvas with Blonde Ambition (forward russian leg sweep). She then pushes Black over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Black gets his shoulder up. Taylor picks up Black, places him in a side headlock and goes for a running bulldog. But Black is able to slip out and shove Taylor off into the ropes. When she returns, Black scoops her up from the side and hits a sidewalk slam. The cheers continue as Black picks up Taylor and sets her up for a crucifix powerbomb. He then goes for a crucifix sitout powerbomb. But as soon as Taylor is dropped onto his shoulders, she counters with a hurricanrana. After turning over into the prone position, Black tries to push himself up off the mat. But Taylor leaps into the air before driving him down face-first into the canvas with a curbstomp. The boos continue as she brings Black back to a vertical base before doubling him over with a hard knee and planting him with the Siren’s Song (Scissored DDT). She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! “Just Close Your Eyes” blares throughout the arena as the crowd boos. Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner, SAVANNAH TAYLOR! The boos continue as Taylor gets her arms raised in victory. Geoff Penzer: Savannah Taylor gets the win here tonight, advancing to the First Round of the Frontier Lions Cup! But boy, it was not easy! Robbie Black put up one heck of a fight here tonight! You’ve got to give that young man credit! But Taylor was able to withstand the challenge and advances herself to the next stage of the tournament. Coming up next, it’s tag team action as the FGA World Tag Team Champs, the Polychromatic Lions Attack Squad, face off against the duo of Bristow & Barnes! ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★
