Backstage, the camera focuses in on one Fujiko Mine, walking through the halls, checking the tape around her fists. The crowd cheers as they see the two time FGA Pride champion, the belt wrapped tight around her waist. She ignores the camera as she walks, but still takes the time out to speak.
Fujiko Mine: Marlon Cure is the next opponent set in front of me.
She shrugs slightly. The camera tracks with her.
Fujiko Mine: Believe it or not, I’m happy with this matchup. I’m glad I’m getting to take on a man who our esteemed general manager has recruited to be one of his lackeys in his fight against Flashpoint. If it were up to me, I’d happily be facing Marlon in a Pride title match. I’ll happily face anyone he wants in a Pride title match, from All Star Showdown and beyond. Brandon has put me in a position to put a chip on my shoulder. I’ve been the most consistent performer on the Vertigo roster. I’ve had a lock on the number one spot in the FGA power rankings. Not Kol, not Evan Envi, or Ricky Valero. Me. The woman who only has one loss on her record this year alone. The woman who sent Chris Madison back where he came from. The woman who kicked his golden boy Kol in the chin and pinned him one, two, three in the ring back at Only The Strong Survive. The woman who is going to go out there tonight and defeat Marlon Cure and continue her trend of dominance.
Fujiko stops, and the camera takes a second before it catches up with her.
Fujiko Mine: Tonight, I’m not going to just beat Marlon Cure for me. I’m not just going to beat Marlon Cure for the fans. I’m going to beat him to continue to show that I am the Apex here on Vertigo.
She reaches around her waist and pulls the FGA Pride championship off, then raises it over her head.
Fujiko Mine: Marlon Cure. I respect your abilities. I don’t agree with you so readily aligning yourself with our GM, and attacking Flashpoint...but that’s not what this battle is about. You want to make a name for yourself, and I want to continue to prove that I am the best wrestler in FGA, period. So unfortunately for you, my will is that you must fall… and my will, be done.
She smirks towards the camera, and pushes the championship closer to the camera. She then slings the title over her shoulder, and walks off as the action returns to ringside.

Susan Kent and Dana arrive and are making their way towards Susan’s locker room.
Dana: We’ve gone over Izzy’s move set and developed a game plan, you know the counter to her moves, and you know her tendencies inside and outside the ring, all you have to execute the game plan and you’ll walk out the winner tonight.
Susan and Dana walk into her locker room where Kendra is standing against the wall.
Kendra Hollis: It took you two long enough, I actually had to talk to that idiot Jessie.
Susan Kent: Yeah sorry about that, training ran a little longer than we wanted.
Kendra Hollis: Well you here now, and I hope you're ready.
Dana: Trust me she is ready for Izzy Anders.
Susan begins to unpack her wrestling gear when Jessie arrives at her locker room for the second time.
Kendra Hollis: Where’s my mineral water?
Kendra burned a hole through Jessie as she steps out of the locker room followed by Dana.
Jessie Pederson: Your agent is a real piece of work.
Susan Kent: She’s harmless.
Jessie Pederson: Anyway, about tonight and your match against Izzy Anders?
Susan Kent: It going to be a tough match, probably the toughest I’ve had here in my time here in FGA.
Jessie Pederson: Everyone knows the credentials of Izzy Anders, what do you think a win over her tonight will do for your career.
Susan Kent: I think it will be huge like you said everyone knows Izzy’s credentials and know how great a wrestler she is, I have my work cut out for me, but I’m confident that tonight I can beat her.
Jessie Pederson: Well good luck out there tonight.
Susan Kent: Thanks

• Singles Match • Izzy Anders vs. Susan Kent Kent comes out the gate swinging with hard left hooks. An irish whip is then reversed, sending Kent into the ropes. When she returns, she executes a headscissors takedown for a two count. She then sends Anders into the ropes with an irish whip. When Anders returns, Kent knocks her down with a dropkick. A second dropkick knocks Anders back down to the mat. Kent throws out a third dropkick. But she goes to the well one too many times. Anders sidesteps and swats Kent down. As Kent gets up on all fours, Anders nails her with a punt kick to the ribs, sending her rolling across the ring. Anders then yanks up Kent by the back of the neck, marches into the corner and goes to slam her face-first into the top turnbuckle. But Kent gets her foot on the middle rope, blocking the move. After an elbow to the midsection, she takes Anders and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. The crowd cheers when Kent turns Anders around and lights up her chest with knife edge chops. The Mindkiller then takes Kent, tosses her into the corner and sends her slumping down with MUDA MUDA MUDA (machine gun punches). She then applies a foot choke while pulling down on the top rope. The ref gives her until the count of five to break the hold. But Anders acts like she can’t hear the ref. As soon as the count if about to reach ‘five’, Anders lets go of the hold. She then reaches down and slaps Kent across the head. The Mindkiller pulls up Kent and whips her into the opposite corner. Anders runs over to attack when Kent knocks her back with a back elbow. After shaking off the blow, Anders runs back into the corner when kent steps out and counters with a Codebreaker! While Anders rolls to the outside, Kent turns and runs into the far ropes. When Kent comes back, she goes for a plancha to the outside. But Anders turns and casually walks out of the way, causing Kent to crash on the outside! Anders then rolls back inside before running the ropes twice. When she comes back, she performs a forward roll and poses in the center of the ring. The Mindkiller looks over and sees Kent pulling herself back up using the ropes. So she rolls back to her feet, darts across the ring and whacks Kent with a palm strike. She pulls Kent back up and goes for a vertical suplex back inside when Kent slips down from behind and counters with an inverted headlock backbreaker for a two count. Kent pulls Anders back up and knocks her across the ring with backhand shops. She then turns and runs into the ropes. When Kent comes back, Anders knocks her down with a jumping leg lariat for a two count. Anders pulls up Kent, lifts her up across her shoulder and goes for a lawdart when Kent slips down from behind and shoves her into the corner. As Anders bounces back, Kent turns her over and brings her down with a belly to belly suplex for a two count. An irish whip is then reversed, sending Kent into the ropes. When she returns, she tries to slide through Anders’ legs. But Anders reaches down and grabs Kent by the hair with both hands. After pulling Kent back to her feet, Kent knocks Anders’ hands off of her and throws out a hard left hook. But Anders ducks and counters by spitting right in Kent’s face. Kent then throws out another hard left hook. This time, Anders ducks and counters with the STOCKTON SLAP! Anders then turns and runs into the ropes. When The Mindkiller returns, Kent brings her down with a Codebreaker! She then follows up with a Rolling Thunder senton for a two count. A one-handed bulldog, followed by a Lionsault also gets a two count. Kent then heads into the corner before planting Anders with a Tornado DDT for another two count. As the match continues, Kent scales the turnbuckles. As she reaches the top, Anders runs into the corner, runs up to the middle turnbuckle, grabs Kent and throws her down with an arm drag! She then pulls Kent back up before bringing her down with a double knee armbreaker for a two count. Anders picks up Kent, lifts her up across her shoulder, runs across the ring and lawn darts her into the corner for another two count! She then lifts up Kent for a Running Liger Bomb when Kent counters with multiple punches to the top of the head. She then slips down in front of Anders before bringing her down with a sitout facebuster for a two count. Kent then takes Anders, whips her into the ropes and throws out a front dropkick. But Anders hangs onto the ropes and watches Kent smack the back of her head against the mat on the way down. As Kent sits back up, Anders turns and points to a random fan before running over and knocking Kent down with A Gift For You (Penalty Kick)! She then pulls Kent back up to her feet and delivers Dirty Dancin (kick flurry) before sending her flipping down to the canvas with an enzuigiri! The Mindkiller pulls a dazed Kent back up before heading into the ropes. When she returns, she knocks Kent down with the Capetown Sunset (540 Kick) for the one, two, three. The show returns from the commercial break to find Spencer Burke standing by, looking rather apprehensive as he finds himself surrounded by three buxom beauties: The Keisters! Kimmi, Kammi, and Kalli are all ready dressed in their ring attire ahead of their upcoming match against Pendragon, and are all wearing the smuggest of grins as the interview begins.
Spencer Burke: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with The Keisters who, in a few minutes, will go up against Pendragon in the first round of the United States Tag Team Tournament. Ladies, welcome back to FGA--
Kimmi Keister: Thanks, babe!
Kimmi interrupts, leaning in to give Spencer a decent view of her cleavage. He does his best to remain professional, even going so far as to turn his head away so as to not give into temptation.
Kimmi Keister: Ok, first we know it’s been a while since we’ve been seen here. So, like, you’re all welcome for us finally gracing you all with our presence again!
Kalli Keister: I don’t know how they ever survived without us.
Kimmi Keister: Since we are the HOTTEST BABES in FGA! Ok. But apparently FGA thought they could do without us after A New Odyssey. As if people like Firing Squad, or Pedro & Maritza could help the tag division...
Kammi Keister: Well, they did beat us…
Kimmi’s smile fades instantly as she turns to glare at her younger sister. Alas, Kammi remains oblivious to the faux pas she just committed.
Spencer Burke: Ahem, as I mentioned before you’ll be facing Pendragon in the first round of the tournament - a team you know quite well! How are you all feeling ahead of this one?
Kimmi Keister: A team we know quite well?
Kimmi repeats the question and giggles, before her sisters follow suit. They even stop a few seconds after she does too, right as Kimmi starts to answer the question.
Kimmi Keister: Ok, babe. You mean a team we’ve BEATEN before. Both here - in the gauntlet, ok - and abroad! We’ve literally kicked their butts all over Europe so when Brandon Macdonald wanted someone to come and teach them a lesson here in FGA, who else was he gonna call? Ok.
Kammi Keister: Maybe Shootcamp…
Kammi ponders aloud, causing Kimmi to laugh heartily. She even rests her arm atop Spencer’s shoulder and bows her head into it. The interviewer looks uncomfortable, trying not to look down at Kimmi’s jiggling chest. She finally lifts her head up and pretends to wipe tears from her eyes before she continues.
Kimmi Keister: If anyone thought Shootcamp could get it done then they wouldn’t have been replaced by us, ok! ‘Cause, let's be real here, FGA calls us when they need a real tag team! ‘Cause they know we’re the STARS on the independent circuit. Ok. And they call us when they’re sick and tired of looking at people like Lowri Moss and Neal Durden, ‘cause they know we’re THE HOTTEST BABES around. And I dunno if you know this Spencer--
Spencer Burke: Know what?
Kimmi Keister: --I’m, seriously, like a technical wizard now. Ok. Like I make--seriously, even Owen Gonsalves or James Edwards or Chris Madison? They don’t compare to me, ok. And the other tag teams in this tournament? Who is there?
Kalli Keister: Uhh, Reapers in Pride, the Saturnian Connection, Bristow and Barnes…
Kammi Keister: The Good Guys, Pedro & Maritza, Firing Squad…
Kimmi Keister: Ok, and who out of that lot can beat The Keisters?
???: Ahem.
A voice comes from off to the side, and the three sisters - plus Spencer Burke - all turn to look in the direction of the noise, where they see Lowri Moss and Neal Durden standing there. The Welsh duo are both dressed in their ring attire and Pendragon t-shirts, while Lowri also has the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship around her waist.
Lowri Moss: “A technical wizard?”
Lowri scoffs dismissively at the eldest Keister’s claim. To her credit, Kimmi tries to remain calm as she stands there with folded arms.
Lowri Moss: Do me a favour. I know you’ve managed to win a couple of matches by submission in the past few weeks, but let’s face it, Kimmi, you had a helping hand in both of those matches… just like how you needed help on each of the occasions you’ve been able to get the better of us.
Kimmi Keister: Do you hear that, girls?
She asks her sisters, glancing around at them before speaking again.
Kimmi Keister: That’s the sounds of excuses being made. Ok. ‘Cause Lowri here has seen me make TWO people tap out. In a row! Ok. And Lowri here has seen me PIN her best friend. And she knows, ok, that I’m just getting better and better with every match.
Kimmi smirks, her arms still folded across her chest as she continues. Lowri, on the other hand, just rolls her eyes as she looks towards Neal.
Kimmi Keister: And they both know why The Keisters are in this tournament. And why we replaced Shootcamp. And why we’re gonna be the first ever FGA United States Tag Team Champions! Right after I make her tap tonight. Ok.
Neal looks at Kimmi, then at Kalli, then at Lowri, then at Spencer and shrugs, before he lets out a sigh and speaks.
Neal Durden: I have a theory as to why you are in this tournament replacing Shootcamp… but it has nothing to do with you tapping out people. In fact, I doubt you’d be able to tap any of us out tonight… I mean, remember Spring Superbrawl II?
Neal turns to Lowri with a wide smile on his face, half-expecting her to chime in. Kimmi stomps her foot at the mention of that loss, but that only serves to push Pendragon forward.
Lowri Moss: It’s funny how you chose not to mention that particular match, Kimmi - how you chose not to mention what happened when you and your sisters weren’t able to gain an illicit advantage from somewhere for once.
Kimmi looks around at her two sisters, one of whom will be in the ring with her while the other stands at ringside. With a knowing smirk she looks back at the Pendragon members.
Kimmi Keister: What’s your point, babe? Like, if it wasn’t enough that I’ve become so much more since then - seriously I might be the best technical wrestler in FGA right now - but there’s three of us…
She counts them off.
Kimmi Keister: And only two of you.
There is a sigh from Lowri that almost sounds more like a groan.
Lowri Moss: The point, Kimmi, is that you can't beat us without some sort of assistance, whether that's one of your sisters causing a distraction, or someone who wasn't even in the match superkicking me from behind.
Lowri rubs the back of her head, as she recalls the incident that lead to Pendragon being eliminated by The Keisters in the tag team gauntlet on the first Vertigo of the year.
Lowri Moss: You're right though: there are three of you, and only two of us. I could've called Blaise, and asked her to be here, to make sure that Neal and I don't fall victim to the numbers game, but I didn't, because I know that we can win this match without having her here to lend her support.
She exchanges a quick glance with Neal, before looking back to Kimmi.
Lowri Moss: I know that even with you having one of your sisters at ringside, doing anything she can to try to help you cheat your way to another victory, we can still beat the two of you that'll be in the ring with us.
All this time Neal has been displaying with his fingers the number’s game, two fingers on one hand, three on the other. Once Lowri finished talking, seeing how eager Kimmi was to speak, he interjected, just to spite Kimmi.
Neal Durden: Hell, Lowri can even finish the match while I kamikaze our way out of the numbers advantage. Anyways, tonight’s result won’t differ from the one we had in New Kingdom PRO… and after we’re done with you two…
Neal points the hand that had the two fingers up at the Keister sisters, before continuing.
Neal Durden: We’re gonna be a step closer to our first tag team championship. Unless something happens with FGA before we can claim that, too…
Before Neal could continue, he was interrupted by Kimmi, who in a bratty tone of voice began to speak.
Kimmi Keister: Yeah, well…
Kimmi stammers for a moment; all three of the Keisters are pouting as they glare at the Pendragon members.
Kimmi Keister: ...PROVE IT! Ok.
With that, Kimmi and her sisters all stomp away in anger, leaving Lowri and Neal behind with smiles on their faces. But with their match coming up in a few minutes, they too walk away to finish their preparation as the show cuts elsewhere.

United States Tag Team Championship Tournament (First Round) Pendagon vs. The Keisters Lowri Moss and Kimmi Keister start things off. After a collar and elbow, Moss moves Kimmi across the ring and towards the Keisters corner. At the last second, Kimmi pivots and presses Moss against the turnbuckles. After the ref gives them until the count of five to break it up, both grapplers make a quick break. Kalli Keister then grabs Moss from the apron and holds her arms back while Kimmi stomps away at her. She then chokes Moss while the ref gives her until the count of five to break the choke. Kimmi and Kalli let go when the count reaches four. After an irish whip sends Moss into the opposite corner, Kimmi runs across the ring to attack when Moss runs out of the corner and cuts her off with a dropsault! The cheers continues as a headbutt sends Kimmi back to the mat. She’s then sent into the ropes with an irish whip. When Kimmi returns, Moss throws her down with a japanese arm drag. As Kimmi gets back up and turns around, Moss runs over and throws her down with an STO for a two count. After an arm wrench, Moss takes Kimmi into the Pendragon corner and tags in Neal Durden. Durden gets in and takes control of the arm with several arm wrenches of his own. After the last one, Kimmi takes her free hand and rakes Durden across the eyes. She then sends him into the far ropes. Durden then bounces off the ropes and knocks Kimmi down with a handspring back elbow. When Kimmi gets back up, she’s shot into the ropes with an irish whip. When she returns, Durden knocks her down with a jumping calf kick. Kimmi gets back to her feet, only for Durden to run over and deliver a dropkick, knocking her back down to the mat. Kimmi then rolls to the outside and calls a timeout. While Kimmi, Kalli and Kammi are trying to regroup, Durden turns and heads into the far ropes. When she comes back, he flips over the top rope and knocks the Kiesters down with a topé con hilo! Durden brings Kimmi back inside and makes the cover. But he only gets a two count. Moss is tagged back in during minute six. She brings Kimmi down with a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. A snap suplex gets another to count. A sitout jawbreaker sends Kimmi stumbling back into the corner. After connecting with a running clothesline, Moss brings her down with a Tornado DDT for another two count. She then brings Kimmi into the Pendragon corner before tagging Durden back in. Durden turns her around, hits two shoot kicks to the chest and follows up with a jumping back kick. After an irish whip sends Kimmi into the opposite corner, Durden heads across the ring and connects with a running arched big boot. Durden then goes for a no-handed springboard moonsault. But Kimmi counters with a dropkick in mid air. She then rushes over and tags out to Kalli. The Keisters then take Durden and shoot him into the ropes. When he returns, they bring him down with a double flapjack! Kalli then runs into the ropes, comes back and delivers the Keister Bomb (running seated senton splash) for a two count! A hairpull backbrekaer gets another two count. Kalli brings back up an sends Durden back down with an arm wrench/hair pull mat slam for another two count. After an irish whip sends Durden into the Keister corner, Kalli runs over and connects with a Stinger Splash. Kimmi then takes the tag rope and chokes Durden with it while the crowd boos! The ref immediately gives her until the count of five to break the choke. Kimmi reluctantly lets go when the count reaches for. After Durden slumps down in the corner, Kalli runs over and connects with a Cannonball Senton for another two count. As the match continues, Kimmi is tagged back in. The Keisters deliver a double russian leg sweep before delivering a wish bone to Durden. Kimmi proceeds to taunt Moss before putting the boots back to Durden. After Durden is sent into the corner with an irish whip, Kimmi runs over, connects with a clothesline and goes to follow up with a running bulldog. But Durden shoves her off into the ropes. When Kimmi returns, Durden tries to throw her down with a back body drop. But Kimmi slips down from behind. She applies a waist lock when Durden hits her with a back elbow to the face. After a standing switch, Durden brings her down with an Olympic Slam! Moss calls out for the tag as Durden tries to crawl back towards the Pendragon corner. Just then, Kimmi grabs him by the ankle. She pulls Durden back up by the leg and taunts him. But Durden turns her inside out with an enzuigiri! He then rolls forward, dives over and makes the tag! The crowd explodes with cheers when Moss flies off the top turnbuckle and brings Kimmi down with a diving crossbody for a two count! An irish whip is reversed, sending Moss into the ropes. The crowd boos when Kalli nails Moss with a kick to the back of the head. As Moss staggers away from the ropes, Kimmi doubles her over with a kick to the midsection before bringing her down with a sitout facebuster for a two count. She then goes for an irish whip. But Moss reverses, sending her crashing into Kalli on the apron! Kalli falls off the apron and crashes to the floor. Back inside, Kimmi staggers back over towards Moss, who throws her down with a release German Suplex! As Kimmi gets up on a knee, Moss runs over and flattens her with a Shining Wizard! After planting Kimmi with a Cradle Piledriver, Durden sits down on the top turnbuckle. Moss then climbs the ropes and hurricanranas Durden off the top turnbuckle. Durden then uses the momentum to crash down across Kimmi with a somersault leg drop! Durden then stands in front of Kimmi while Moss positions herself behind her. Once Kimmi finally picks herself back up, Moss hooks her arms from behind. Pendragon then connects with That Move (superkick/Tiger Suplex combination)! Durden stays on the lookout while Moss makes the cover, getting the one, two, three. Pendragon O || That Move (13:10) || The Keisters X • COMMERCIAL BREAK •

Sitting on a bench across the street from what looks an awful lot like the Verizon Arena we see a familiar-looking figure looking over his shoulder towards the arena, and after a few seconds they turn their head back towards the camera to reveal the reason the figure looks so familiar is because it just so happens to be Johnny Karma
Johnny Karma: You know what's funny? On the one hand Brandon Macdonald doesn't think there's any problem with sending half his roster over to Flashpoint to jump anything that isn't nailed down from behind, yet when one person from Flashpoint - just one - shows up on Vertigo to raise a couple of valid points he makes a tsimmes of the situation faster than you can say "Nineteen Eighty Four" and not only has security drag them out of the arena, but he's got them extra vigilant for tonight just in case somebody might want to, oh I don't know, have a fair and frank exchange of words and ideas with a few of Macdonald's hit squad. And, no, there's no exaggeration there, as the second I got within twenty feet of the arena there were half a dozen heavies in their slightly too tight t-shirts with the veins in their foreheads throbbing in unison.
Karma checks over his shoulder again, to see if arena security are still watching him
Johnny Karma: The thing is, their authority only extends to the edge of the kerb, so I can sit here and say whatever the heck I like and they can't do anything - and that's the same thing that can be said about Macdonald, as if he grew a pair and set foot on my side of the street the only way he can avoid hearing what he doesn't want to hear is go scurrying back across the road, hopefully looking both ways before he does, so he can stand there with his fingers in his ears and try and act like The Big Man. Well here's the problem with that: you're not, you're just like those two shnorrers running about on your brand one day dreaming of raising their game to be considered on a par with the average internet troll or Fortnite griefer. And this leads to the other problem with your plan, namely you can't hide forever - or in the case of Envi and Valero, you can't bail out of the ring because the going got a little bit tough and you decided to prove Billy Ocean wrong by proving that it's the shmendricks that get going as fast as their little legs can carry them.
Leaning a little closer to the camera, Karma drops a non-too-subtle hint
Johnny Karma: Maybe next time you want to play your hand, don't jump on the table and tell everyone what cards you've got and assume you've won. After all, you don't know what cards we have yet, but we sure do.

We go backstage, to a hallway in the arena that sees Molly Reid standing by. She’s dressed in her wrestling gear, clearly on the way to her match against Seth Iser. Some bruises and even a few scars can be seen on her neck and arms, evidence of the grueling matches she’s had lately. She pauses for a moment and looks at the camera.
Molly Reid: You know, a lot of people were surprised about me accepting a place on Vertigo’s team for All Star Showdown. And I can’t say that I blame them. It was just a few months ago that I left the New Murder because I wanted to get my career back on track, on my own. The right way. But now I’m joining up with a group of wrestlers who’ve been doing things the wrong way. And it’s not a great look for me. But I wanted to get on camera and say this in front of everyone.
She pauses as she looks around as if to just make sure nobody is around to stop her, before looking back at the camera.
Molly Reid: In absolutely no way to I condone the actions of those on my team. The attack on Chandler last Vertigo was cowardly, and I wanted no part of it. Much like last week, when Vertigo invaded Flashpoint. I’m all for trying to get into opponent’s heads before a match, but what they did seemed a little bit over the top. I wasn’t going to get myself involved in any of that. I know some will say it’s just business and it was necessary. And maybe they’re right. But that’s not who I am. I told Brandon that I would join the team but I wasn’t going to take part in any of that nonsense. That’s not who I am. You all might think it’s hypocritical of me, to join up with this group right after leaving the New Murder. But I love Vertigo. I love this show, I love this brand. There’s truly world-class talent wrestling here every week, and I get to test myself against the best of the best. So when my boss asks, well, basically tells me that I should join the Vertigo team, it’s hard to say no to that. I want to represent Vertigo, to show the world just how good we are. I’m just here for the match. If my teammates want to go after Flashpoint before the match, I won’t be a part of it. All I want is to wrestle against the best of the best. The most challenging matches, to test myself with. And this match gives me that opportunity. So I know many of you might not like it, and I understand that. But just know that I’m not going to fall back into those old habits. I’m not going to undo everything I’ve done these past couple of months. I’m just going to get in that ring and prove that I’m one of the best in the world.
She flashes a smile for a moment before playing with the tape on her hands a bit. After straightening it all out, she looks back at the camera and adds.
Molly Reid: And that’s what I get to do tonight! Wrestling Seth Iser is something I’ve been excited about since I found out about this match. It’s another chance to test myself against one of the most talented wrestlers in the company. So if you’ll excuse me, I have to g-
She stops as she looks at something off screen. She stands up a bit straighter, her fists clench as the camera pans out to reveal a smiling Marlon Cure standing a few feet away from Molly. Cure gives a small clap as he leans against a nearby wall.
Marlon Cure: Inspiring lil speech, Reid. For a few seconds there you actually had me convinced that you were REALLY about all the change while you’re up here denouncing attacks that you had no problem being apart of just what? A couple of months ago if that? It ain’t like people forgot all the dirt you did, right right? After falling for the okie doke so many times and watching you flip back and forth between wanting to be the good girl, the role model and showing the world the real you that we don’t know what to believe in when it comes to you.
Cure tilts his head, a smirk playing out on his lips.
Marlon Cure: Or maybe for once in your career, it’s actually genuine this time.
Seeing the look he’s getting in return, Cure raises both hands in a non threatening manner.
Marlon Cure: Be easy. If I wanted a fight, we wouldn’t be having this convo right now. Now, I came to inform you of some news you might wanna hear.
Cure pushes himself off of the wall and begins brushing dust from his suit jacket as he speaks.
Marlon Cure: You see Molly, when our illustrious GM signed your boy to Vertigo he knew coming in that I’d be dragging along a big, BIG price tag along with me. We’re talking a lot of years, a lot of zeros but look at everything I do. Look at everything I can do. You know, I know, and he knows every penny he spent was well worth it to have the future Greatest of All Time in his prime on the roster. But when you signing one of the hottest free agents in the land to that kinda contract… well, people start feelin’ like they need to justify that kind of spending, right right?
Without giving Molly a chance to speak, Cure continues on.
Marlon Cure: That’s riiiiight. You looking at member number four for Team Vertigo.
Molly stares with a surprised look on her face as the crowd in the arena reacts loudly to that announcement. The camera fades out with the two of them talking still, but no words can be heard.

• Singles Match • Molly Reid vs. Seth Iser Iser comes out aggressive, turning Reid inside out with a lariat to start off the match! He takes his anger from earlier out on Reid with several stomps to the back. He then yanks Reid up by the back of the neck, runs into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. Reid is slammed so hard into the top turnbuckle that she stumbles back before collapsing to the canvas. Iser keeps the pressure on Reid as he delivers multiple stomps to the chest. He reaches down, yanks Reid up by the hair and pulls her head down by the hair before delivering several uppercuts with his free hand. He then flings Reid across the ring by the hair. After Reid’s body tumbles across the mat, Iser marches over, yanks Reid up by the hair and flings her across the ring again. Reid rolls over towards the corner. As she tries to pull herself up using the ropes, Iser rushes over to attack. But Reid knocks him back with a back elbow to the face. She then hoists herself up onto the middle ropes when Iser rushes over and delivers a running big boot to the chest, sending Reid flipping over the top rope and crashing to the floor! The match continue as Iser nudges the ref out of the way and puts the boots to Reid. Iser yanks her up, lifts her up in a bearhug and then rams her back-first against the ring post. Iser rolls Reid back inside before dragging her upper body out onto the apron. He applies a choke with both hands. The ref gives him until the count of five to break the choke. Iser reluctantly lets go when the count reaches four. Iser then climbs up onto the apron, takes a few steps back and then goes for a jumping leg drop. But Reid slips back into the ring, causing Iser to hit his leg on the apron before falling to the floor! While Iser picks himself up on the outside, Reid gets up and takes off into the far ropes. When she comes back, she leaps through the ropes and knocks Iser back with a suicide dive! She then rolls back into the ring, runs into the far ropes, comes back, leaps through the ropes and knocks Iser into the guardrail with another suicide dive! Reid rolls back inside before heading into the far ropes. When she returns, she leaps over the top rope and knocks Iser down! Reid then mounts herself on top of Iser and hammers down right hands to the face. She pulls up Iser and slams him face-first onto the apron before shoving him back inside. She then gives Vincent Moretti a look as he tries to sneak up on her. Moretti stops in his place and wheels backwards while Reid climbs the apron. The momentary distraction was enough to buy Iser time. Iser takes advantage a sucker punches Reid with a right hand! After a shoulder thrust through the ropes, he goes to bring Reid back inside with a vertical suplex. But Reid slips down from behind and counters with a russian leg sweep for a two count! Reid keeps control of the action as she brings the match into the corner. After a trio of knife edge chops, she takes Iser and goes for an irish whip. But he reverses and sends her into the opposite corner. Iser rushes back in to attack when once again, Reid knocks him back. This time, with a boot to the face. She then turns, springboards to the top turnbuckle, flips back and goes for a corkscrew moonsault. But Iser’s abe to catch her across his shoulder! He then turns and goes for a running powerslam when Reid slips down from behind and shoves Iser into the ropes. When he returns, Reid throws out the Molly Kick (superkick)! But Iser catches her foot, swings her leg away from him and knocks her down with a European Uppercut for a two count. A straight right to the jaw sends Reid stumbling backwards into the ropes. Iser then turns and runs into the far ropes. When he comes back, he throws out a big boot. But Reid ducks. While Iser is straddling the top rope, Reid connects with an enzuigiri, sending Iser flipping over the top rope and to the floor! While Iser picks himself up on the outside, Reid scales to the top turnbuckle. When Iser turns around, Reid knocks him down with a corkscrew moonsault to the outside! She brings the action back inside and makes the cover. But Iser gets his shoulder up at two. The match continues as Reid brings Iser down with a flying leg lariat. She then hits a rolling thunder senton for a two count! An Axe Kick gets another two count! An irish whip is reversed, sending Reid towards the ropes. She then bounces back and connects with a handspring pelé kick! While Iser is dazed, Reid turns and heads into the ropes. When she comes back, she leaps up onto his shoulders for a hurricanrana. But Iser counters wit a sitout powerbomb! The ref slides into place to make the count. ONE! TWO! Reid gets her shoulder up. In the ninth minute, Iser throws Reid down with a back body drop. He then drops her across the top rope with a Stun Gun for a two count. After a vertical suplex, Iser delivers a knee drop before grinding his knee brace across her face. A hangman’s neckbreaker gets a two count. A pendulum backbreaker gets another two count. After applying a rear chinlock, Reid begins to fight back. After battling back to a vertical base, she hits Iser with multiple elbows to the midsection. She then heads into the far ropes. When she returns, Iser slams her down with the Pillar of Truth (Bossman Slam)! He makes the cover. ONE! TWO! TH-NO! Reid gets her shoulder up. Iser brings the action into the corner. He sits her down on the top turnbuckle before climbing the middle ropes. He then goes for a superplex, but Reid blocks it. So Iser tries to muscle her up for another superplex. But again, Reid blocks it. So Iser lets go. He throws out a punch. But Reid blocks and counters with a punch of her own. Iser then gets cut off by another punch from Reid. Reid unleashes a flurry of elbow strikes before Iser falls back-first to the mat. Once Iser gets back to his feet, Reid dives off and knocks him down with a flying knee! An irish whip is reversed, sending Reid into the ropes. When she returns, she brings Iser down with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. A missile dropkick knocks Iser back down with a two count! A shotgun dropkick knocks Iser back down for another two count! Reid then heads back into the ropes. When she returns, Iser throws her down with a spinebuster! He makes the cover. ONE! TWO! THR-NO! Reid gets her shoulder up. Iser pulls Reid back up and hits three jabs. He then throws out a discus clothesline. But Reid ducks. When Iser turns around, Reid brings him down with That’s Using your Face (double knee facebreaker)! Reid then plants him with Springboard DDT when he gets back to his feet and turns around! Reid heads into the corner and waves Iser up. Once Iser gets back to his feet and turns around, Reid knocks him down with the Molly Kick and gets the one, two, three! Molly Reid O || Molly Kick (15:18) || Seth Iser X After the match you can see a lumbering and still angry visibly Iser start to walk away from the ring as he just shakes his head letting out a grunt and some of the sweat just flies off into the audience and they’re slightly disgusted by it. Just the moment he takes a breath is the moment Owen sprints down the ramp and pearl harbor’s Iser and the fight between the two is on again! Owen is on top pounding away at the tired Iser intent on finishing what was started between the two earlier! Stephy Auger: Owen Gonsalves has no business attacking another man and provoking a fight! Kris Cruise: It was Iser who instigated the physicality initially considering he marched toward the Shootcamp locker room earlier! Iser is still able to use what’s left of his brute strength to push Owen away to try to get distance but again Owen seems intent on finishing what was started earlier by again pursuing and dropkicking Iser into the barricade really hard. Some fans are shouting and loving this. Owen soon takes this opportunity to throw Iser back into the ring to continue the assault and soon the two are scraping again with Iser doing his best to again disengage. Kris Cruise: Iser wants no part of this one! Stephy Auger: Do you blame him!? He wrestled in England yesterday, flew down here to wrestle again today and now this dirtbag Owen wants to fight him after all that! Kris Cruise: Maybe he shouldn’t antagonize the paying audience AND the various wrestlers. As soon as Owen charges again this time Iser has an answer and thumbs him directly in the eye and the fans are booing that as if this were an actual match. Iser throws a couple of hard rights to Owen to back him up to the corner but Owen soon catches Iser right in the jaw with a jumping knee strike and the big guy starts towering backward...and the fans roar louder with a second knee strike to the jaw and soon he’s rocking and stumbling at the center of the ring before Owen backs to the corner before charging and hitting his Soul-Stealing 7 Star Strike (Running bicycle knee) right to the face of the larger man and down he goes! Kris Cruise: Owen’s seeing nothing but red. I don’t think he HATES anything else in the world more than Iser. Stephy Auger: Even Ricky? Kris Cruise: Even Ricky on this one. This is just the latest chapter in a near four year war this confrontation. Owen sees an opportunity as he drags the physically exhausted Iser up before setting up for his finishing blow...The Final Gambit. Before he can proceed any further… Brandon Macdonald: That’s enough! As soon as Brandon’s voice booms through the audience begins to boo and Owen at this point stops at his tracks as Iser plops back down and starts rolling to an opposite corner and you can see Brandon looking at the situation and he’s not entirely pleased about what has gone on. Brandon Macdonald: I get it...I get that there's some history here that needs resolving however I'll be damned if you hold up my show trying to resolve it. Seth, you've had your match tonight and Owen you've got plenty on your plate too. So this is really simple. For the first time ever in an FGA ring, Seth Iser will meet Owen Gonsalves one on one at All Star Showdown VII... There is a loud cheer at the announcement that the two are going to have their first match in the company. Iser is starting to pull himself up from the corner grunting but he does acknowledge this news with a nod but keeping his best poker face. Brandon Macdonald: ...I wasn't done, you see now that we've made this official I don't think it's a good idea to have either of you beating the crap out of each other on free TV or anywhere else for that matter. So there's really only one solution, if either of you make contact with the other...the match is off, and...you'll both be fined heavily. You're both businessmen, you'll be fine to pay up. I recommend keeping out of each other's way until All Star Showdown though. As soon as the announcement of no physical contact is heard...Iser had reached his feet and the two rivals are glaring at one another knowing they have yet another match at a big stage to try to settle this issue. Owen seems okay with it and Iser...well it looks like he’s plotting something in his brain before he turns his head briefly toward the crowd before jolting quickly back and blasting Owen with the red mist! Kris Cruise: Oh come on! That’s aggression to say the very least! Stephy Auger: I think Owen can feel nothing but burning. Hahaha! Kris Cruise: What the hell is wrong with both you and Iser? That’s the RED mist! That isn’t like the green that just incapacitates someone. It BURNS! And Owen is going through hell on earth on his eyes right now. Owen is rolling on the mat clutching at his eyes yelling vulgar terms in obvious pain as the red liquid drips down Iser’s beard. The fans are booing the loudest they have had toward Iser in his entire FGA career to this point for this heinous act. GM Brandon McDonald simply shaking his head, grits his teeth and walks back behind the curtain. Iser soon ends up demanding a live microphone as he sneers down at the damage he’s done and there isn’t a look of joy on his face...just a concealed rage that he wants to do even more than what he just did. Seth Iser: I didn’t physically touch him. Just like the boss said. See you at the All Star Showdown, boy. With that declaration Iser ends up dropping the microphone before he slides under the ring and the audience decrees one thing loudly in near unison. ISER SUCKS!

Cameras cut backstage to Jessie Pederson. She’s standing by with a microphone in hand. The camera fades back to reveal Vertigo General Manager Brandon Macdonald standing beside her with a smirk on his face.
Jessie Pederson: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with the general manager of Vertigo, Mr. Brandon Macdonald. Brandon, first things first, I have to ask about last we-
A hand in her face causes Jessie to stop talking. Brandon grabs the microphone from her hand instead and looks at the camera.
Brandon Macdonald: I’ll save you the trouble Jessie. What happened last week at Flashpoint...was necessary. Flashpoint just sits there, an equal part of FGA as Vertigo. A show that gets the same time-slot as us. That gets the same budget as we do. Everything that FGA gives us, they give to Flashpoint as well. But when you think of Vertigo, you think of words like superior, elite, the best. When you think of Flashpoint, you say words like second-tier, lesser-than, incompetent. Because they’re being run by someone that has time and time again proven that she is either too overwhelmed or too stupid to run a wrestling brand. Hadley is running that brand into the ground, and yet they still get the same level of support, funding, promotion, as we do. I’ve taken Vertigo to new heights! This show has never ever been stronger, in its entire history. Meanwhile, Hadley loses superstars left and right. Puts on underwhelming matches, doesn’t take action when action is necessary. She has no backbone. Won’t admit to a mistake. I mean, come on. A computer glitch resulting in you not knowing when your WORLD CHAMPION’s contract expired?! When I first took over Vertigo, the first thing I did was double check the paper copies of everything, because that’s what a good general manager needs to do. Make sure there are no errors, no discrepancies. But Hadley just decided to take it on faith alone I guess. So once again, I brought Vertigo to new heights by signing not only the FGA Undisputed Champion to Vertigo, but making the FGA Undisputed Championship a Vertigo-exclusive title! Not to mention the new United States Tag Team Championships, the signings, everything I’ve done to make Vertigo the clear number one brand.
A pause as Brandon clenches his teeth and calms himself down a bit before continuing.
Brandon Macdonald: And yet...we’ve been treated as equal brands of FGA. But no more. I won’t stand by and allow that dumpster fire of a show continue to operate as if it is on the same level as us. I won’t allow Hadley to get away with being an awful, careless, useless GM while I slave away to make Vertigo the best of the best. So what happened last week? That was on Hadley. That was on Flashpoint. They forced me to take drastic action. I had to make a point. To really drive home that Vertigo is THE brand of Frontier Grappling Arts. Flashpoint had its chance and they absolutely blew it. Hadley proved that she is unfit to be a general manager of a damn Taco Bell, let alone an entire wrestling brand. So if you want to know why we did what we did last week, you should go ask Hadley. Ask her why she let her pathetic self take on the general manager role. Ask her why she did it when she knew she was a failure, and would always be a failure. It’s her fault. Everything that’s happened has been Hadley Herrera’s fault.
Macdonald hands the microphone back to Jessie, who looks a little flustered but shakes it off as she leads into the next question.
Jessie Pederson: Brandon, so far there have been four names announced as part of Team Vertigo for the ten-man tag team match at All Star Showdown. What can you tell us about the four so far?
Brandon Macdonald: Well what is there to say, really? I’ve chosen four of the best wrestlers that Vertigo has to offer. Kol, he’s my guy. My big signing from day one. He’s been every bit as good as I expected him to be. Truly one of the best wrestlers in the company. Ricky Valero is a no brainer. One of the greats. The Good Guy. Him and Evan Envi have been taking the wrestling world by storm lately. Molly Reid? Another great. Just look at what she’s done all over the wrestling world over the past year. Remarkable. And Marlon Cure, I know he’s new to Vertigo. But he just has that it factor about him. He’s had great success every place he’s gone and I know it’ll be the same here. So he makes a great fourth member of the team. I don’t care who Flashpoint picks from their brand. They let all their talent come over here, so they stand no chance.
Jessie Pederson: So...that’s four members. What about the fifth?
Macdonald feins surprise as he looks at Jessie.
Brandon Macdonald: Oh, did I forget to mention that I picked a fifth member for Team Vertigo?
Jessie Pederson: You haven’t…
Brandon Macdonald: Well damn. This was a tough one. There were so many possibilities. I could’ve picked a veteran like Seth Iser. Or maybe a young phenom like Piper Lennon. Or one of the Reapers in Pride. The New Murder. Hell I even could’ve picked a former FGA Undisputed Champion in Izzy Anders. There’s just so much talent in Vertigo right now, that I agonized over this decision for days. Maybe even weeks. But in the end I made my decision, and it wasn’t easy. But I had to choose somebody that I knew wouldn’t let me down. Someone that I knew could carry the massive brand that is Vertigo on their shoulders.
Macdonald takes the microphone from Jessie again as he looks into the camera with an excited look on his face. His voice rising as he struggles to contain the excitement.
Brandon Macdonald: I was going to wait for this announcement, but I think I’ll just do it now. I’m too excited. The fifth member of Team Vertigo is a legend in this business. A seasoned veteran who’s been around the world and back again. He’s a multi-time world champion in numerous companies. He’s a hall of famer, one of the greatest to ever do it. The fifth member of Team Vertigo is…
The smile suddenly vanishes from Brandon’s face as he looks directly into the camera with a serious expression. His excitement vanishes.
Brandon Macdonald: Me.
With that, he disappears off screen. Leaving the shocked reaction of the crowd and a shot of Jessie standing alone with an equally shocked look on her face.

Drake is busted open from a right! Bond is busted open from a left! But still the punches continue; both men donning the crimson mask as flecks of blood litter the canvas from the furious swings! Bond takes advantage in the exchange by lifting a knee into Drake’s gut, backing him into the corner with punches and kicks! The much larger Bond now hammering down blows on Drake who finally is rocked by a haymaker and hits the canvas! Drake rolls out of the ring and onto the apron, but Bond pursues him stepping out onto the apron, pulling Drake up by the hair. Bond signals for the End of Days, looking to hit it on the unpadded ring apron! But Drake slips out of his grip and counters with a huge DDT onto the apron instead! Bond crumbles and slides out onto the floor. Drake regains his bearings and moves back into the ring. He sizes up Bond who is stirring on the outside. Drake hits the far ropes at top speed and comes careening through the middle ropes for a suicide dive… countered into an ace crusher on the floor by Bond! Bond is first back to his feet, pulling up Drake and slamming him back first into the side of the ring. Bond grabs Drake by the hair and under the arm, and looking over at the barricade tosses Drake OVER the barricade and into a mess of scattering fans and folding chair! Stephy Auger: Look out! Kris Cruise: Chris Bond just hurled Malcolm Drake like a shot-put over the barricade and into the crowd! Fans are scattering and there’s a mess of chairs left in the wake. Bond rips the barricade section loose as tosses it onto the floor as he pursues Drake, writhing in a tangled mess of warped and bent folding chairs. Bond shoves a rubbernecking fan out of the way and mounts Drake for a series of punches, before pulling Drake to his feet. But Drake cracks Bond in the mouth with a left hook! Drake grabs one of the folding chairs and brings it down across Bond’s back! Then tossing the chair aside Drake manages to hoist Bond up and powerbombs him onto the barricade on the ground! Kris Cruise: Good god, Drake and Bond are throwing everything that isn’t nailed down at each other! Stephy Auger: Someone’s gotta get those fans out of there. Up on the entrance ramp, GM Brandon Macdonald has appeared and is waving frantically towards the back in a windmill motion, as members of the Vertigo roster come careening out. Stephy Auger: GM Macdonald doing the right thing to protect the FGA faithful, bringing out the locker room to separate Drake and Bond. Kris Cruise: Normally, I’d want to let these two tear each other apart but this is reckless even for my tastes. Marlon Cure, Seth Iser, Piper Lennon, Fenrys, Pendragon, Firing Squad, Bristow & Barnes, Maritza Diaz, Pedro Gonzales, Susan Kent and Yan Yungsung are initially able to hold them apart. Bond breaks free and attacks Drake until they're pulled apart again. Now Drake breaks free and attacks Bond ,then attacks the guys holding him back. Bond turns around and does the same, both pick up chairs and fight back the locker room before turning on each other with dueling chair shots! The 14 roster members swarm down on Drake and Bond, enveloping the two men and gradually pulling them apart despite their protests. Bond feigns calm, before slipping loose and jumping onto Drake and several roster members holding him back, landing a few quick blows before the roster is on him again! But Drake breaks free as well! He cold-cocks Bond and turns around and does the same to Seth Iser, who was attempting to restrain him! Bond slips loose in the commotion. Drake grabs a chair. Bond grabs a chair! Each man swings their weapon wildly at the locker room! Their would-be restrainers back slowly away, as Bond and Drake turn toward each other. Bond cracks Drake over the head with a chairshot, so hard that the seats warps… but Drake is still on his feet! He returns fire and blasts Bond right across the forehead! Stephy Auger: What is the matter with these two?! Kris Cruise: This has gone beyond personal; Bond and Drake want to end each others’ careers! The 14 roster members encircle them to keep the fans away, Drake and Bond still brawling as the show goes off the air. Both men fire another salvo, the folding chairs crashing into each other and falling from their hands. Drake and Bond rush together and resume beating each other with fists as the locker room slowly encircles the two men, creating a barrier between them and the endangered fans at ringside. Stephy Auger: They’re still going at it! Kris Cruise: Folks, that’s all the time we have for tonight. Tune in to Vertigo next week to find out if Malcolm Drake and Chris Bond are still breathing after this hellacious, all-out brawl!
