Evan Envi vs. Kol
Ricky Valero makes his way over to the announce table. Out next is Kol and then finally, Evan Envi. The match starts with Kol getting the better of the Undisputed Champion with chain wrestling before bringing him down to the mat with a side headlock takeover. Envi reverses into a headscissors. But Kol’s able to escape with a kip up. After Envi scrambles back to a vertical base, Kol takes control of the arm with an arm wrench. Envi then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and rakes Kol across the eyes. He then takes Kol and sends him into the ropes with an irish whip. When Kol returns, he sees Envi setting up for a back body drop. So Kol counters with an Evenflow DDT for a two count!
Kol takes Envi and sends him into the corner with an irish whip. Kol runs across the ring, connects with a clothesline and goes to follow up with a running bulldog out of the corner. But Envi shoves him off into the ropes. When Kol returns, he leaps across the ring and knocks Envi down with a flying elbow smash for a two count! A Bionic Elbow sends the Undisputed Champion stumbling against the ropes. Kol then turns and runs into the far ropes. When he returns, he motions for a clothesline when Envi ducks and dumps him over the top rope. After landing on the apron, Kol goes to deliver a shoulder thrust through the ropes. But Envi counters with a knee lift. After stepping out onto the apron, Envi takes Kol and delivers a belly to back suplex on the apron! He then scurries over and gives his best friend Valero a high five before continuing the match. The Chief brings the action back inside and makes the cover. But Kol kicks out at two.
Envi brings the action into the corner. After hitting Kol with a knife edge chop followed by a European Uppercut, Envi turns to Valero, who leaps up from his seat and delivers a “WOO!”. Envi continues his attacks. After each knife edge chop/European Uppercut combination, Valero “WOO”s from the announce table. Stephy Auger joins in with the “WOO”ing, which does nothing but agitate Kris Cruise even further. Back inside, Envi sends Kol into the opposite corner with an irish whip. Envi runs across the ring to attack when he gets knocked back by a back elbow to the face. He then hoists himself up onto the middle ropes before knocking Envi down with a flying clothesline for a two count. After sending Envi back into the corner with an irish whip, Kol runs across the ring, hurls himself into the corner and hits Envi with double knees! He then brings Envi from out of the corner with a running bulldog for a two count!
As the match continues, Kol goes for a belly to back suplex of his own. But Envi rolls over his shoulder, lands on his feet and follows up with a straight jacket choke backbreaker for a two count! A snap suplex gets a two count. A belly to back suplex also gets a two count. The crowd erupts with boos when Envi has Kol set up for an Alabama Slam! But Kol’s able to reverse into a modified sunset flip for a two count. When both grapplers return to their feet, Envi catches Kol with a European Uppercut. Kol responds with a Bionic Elbow. Envi then delivers another European Uppercut. Kol responds with another Bionic Elbow. He then cuts Envi with with another Bionic Elbow… and another! While Envi is dazed, Kol turns and runs into the far ropes. When he returns, Envi brings him down with the Kapowski Kick! He makes the cover. But Kol gets his shoulder up at two.
In the tenth minute, an irish whip is reversed, sending Kol into the ropes. When he returns, he throws out a bicycle kick. But Envi catches his foot. He then swings Kol’s leg away from him and catches him across the back of the head with a roundhouse kick! He then lifts Kol up from the side and throws him down with a pumphandle slam for a two count! After getting whipped hard into the corner, Kol staggers back over towards Envi, who throws him down with a Uranage! With Kol sprawled out on the mat Envi heads into the corner and scales to the top turnbuckle. Envi scans the crowd before flipping back for The Classics (diving moonsault). But Kol rolls out of the way, causing Envi to crash onto the canvas! Auger shrieks with horror while Valero pleads for Envi to get up!
After the referee’s count reaches six, both grapplers return to their feet. Kol rushes over and throws out another bicycle kick. This time, Envi side steps. When Kol turns around, Envi throws out a superkick. But Kol catches his foot, swings the leg away from him and follows up with a jumping reverse bulldog! He makes the cover. ONE! TWO! T-NO! Envi gets his shoulder up. After seeing Envi back into the corner, Kol runs over and throws out the double knees. This time, Envi moves out of the way. After Kol crashes into the corner, Envi throws him down with a Sambo Suplex! He makes the cover. ONE! TWO! Kol gets his shoulder up. Envi then sends him into the ropes with an irish whip. When Kol returns, he leaps across the ring for another flying forearm smash. This time, Envi moves out of the way, causing the ref to get taken ou!. When Kol turns around, an exhausted Envi connects with a superkick, knocking Kol through the ropes and to the outside!
With Kol down on the outside and Envi down in the ring, the camera switches to Valero at commentary. While Valero continues to rant, an explosion of cheers can be heard coming from the crowd. Auger gasps when Chandler Scott climbs over the guardrail behind the announce table! Valero notices Auger’s eyes widening with shock. When he turns around, Scott rocks him with a right cross, knocking Valero out of his seat! Scott puts the boots to Valero! He then reaches down, pulls Valero up and slams him repeatedly face-first onto the announce table. Scott then takes Valero and whips him hard into the guardrail. While Valor howls in pain, Scott takes the chair that Valero was sitting in and slams it shut. Wen Valero turns around, Scott waffles him with the chair! He then turns his attention to Envi, who is starting to push himself up on all fours. Scott tosses the chair into the ring before walking up the steps.
Scott steps through the ropes as Envi gets back to a vertical base. When Envi turns around, his eyes widen as he immediately drops to the canvas! The crowd is at a fever pitch as Scott stalks Envi around the ring. Envi keeps scooting himself away from Scott and calling for a timeout. But Scott doesn’t want to hear any of it. Once Envi backs himself up against the ropes, he realizes that he’s cornered. Scott has him right where he wants him. But Envi’s look of shock soon turn to a twisted smirk. Scott narrows his eyes as Brandon Macdonald comes through the curtain. He feverishly waves his arm. Suddenly, out from the back comes Marlon Cure, Chris Bond, Fenrys, Piper Lennon, Nate Bristow, Tully Barnes, Seth Iser, Joseph Perello and Ryder McKnight! Scott looks on at the Vertigo stars quickly surrounding the ring. Scott looks down at Envi, who is cackling at the sight. Scott motions in to attack Envi when Kol slides back in from behind. Scott then turns around and tackles Kol down to the mat. The crowd explodes with cheers as Scott gets on top of Kol and rains down right hands to the face. But the cheers quickly turn to boos when the nine grapplers rush the ring and swoop in on Scott!
The crowd boos and jeers while Scott is getting kicked and punched against the ropes. The boos turn to cheers as Scott tries to fight back! He throws wild rights and lefts at anything and everything in sight! But the numbers prove to be too much. Iser takes Scott by the throat and moves him into the corner. From there, Iser applies a foot choke while Lennon stomps away at his midsection. Once the two move out of the way, Perello and McKnight send Scott slumping down in the corner with mudhole stomps to the chest. Perello then nudges McKnight out of the way and sends Scott’s head snapping to the side repeatedly with a flurry of right hands. Bond takes Scott and tosses him out onto the apron. After pulling him across the middle rope, The Battle-Hardened Veteran scans the crowd. He takes in the crowd’s disdain before him and mouths back at them before planting Scott with the Rejection DDT! As Scott tries to push himself up on all fours, Kol darts over and nearly kicks his head off with the Broken Dreams (Punt Kick)! Lennen then slowly pulls Scott up before bringing him down with the Snapshot (cravat knee facebreaker)! After Scott bounces off of Lennon’s knees, his body rolls across the ring. Fenrys howls at the moon while Bond holds up Scott’s limp body. Fenrys runs into the ropes, comes back and knocks Scott down with Loki’s Wrath (bicycle knee strike)! Various shots of fans booing, giving the grapplers two thumbs down and cursing them out are seen. Iser then picks Scott back up, places him in a front facelock and plants him with the Deprivation DDT! Cure then reaches down, peels Scott up from off the canvas and lifts him up onto his back. King Cure heads towards the center of the ring before connecting with The Blackout! After getting dropped into the overhead kick, Scott crumbles to the mat.
After Scott is dragged into position, Valero places the steel chair across Scott’s ribs before stepping out onto the apron. Valero smiles at the booing crowd before scaling to the top turnbuckle. He leaps off… and delivers Burying The Hatchet (diving double foot stomp) on the steel chair across the ribs! The Chief then yanks up Scott before tossing him through the ropes and to the floor. On the outside, Envi, Macdonald and Valero stomp and kick away at Scott! Envi then takes Scott and tosses him head-first against the ring steps. The top half of the steps tumble over while the bottom half remain in place. The crowd erupts with boos when Envi lifts Scott up over his shoulders before signing him down hard, delivering an Alabama Slam across the bottom half of the steel steps! Valero then mounts himself on top of Scott and rains down a flurry of right hands that busts Scott open. The self-proclaimed Franchise then calls for a powerbomb. Envi, Macdonald and Cure go to clear off the announce table. But Valero puts his hands up, telling them to keep everything in place. He then drags Scott over towards the table. After Valero lifts Scott up onto his shoulders, Envi helps him delivers a double powerbomb through the announce table! The crowd eurtps with boos while Scott lays motionless amongst the debris. Bond gets in another stomp for good measure while Iser gets in another unnecessary kick to the head. Envi puts his right foot on Scott’s chest and raises his Undisputed Championship belt in the air while Valero puts his left foot on Scott’s chest and raises Envi’s other arm. Macdonald can be seen applauding the damage while Lennon grabs her Polaroid camera and takes a picture of the sight. Vertigo fades out with dueling chants of…
