As Vertigo opens up, the camera finds Lowri Moss wandering along a corridor somewhere backstage at the Intrust Bank Arena. Dressed in a Denver Divas t-shirt and a pair of jeans, Lowri is clearly searching for something, or - more accurately - someone.
Lowri Moss: DDOOOMMMM!!!!
Her eyes shift from side to side, as she continues onward.
Lowri Moss: DDDDOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!
With still no sign of her antagonist, she mutters something to herself.
Lowri Moss: Come on, you prick. Where are you?
Lowri then comes to a junction with another corridor. She stops, and glances in either direction, before calling out again.
Lowri Moss: DDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dom Harter: ASK, AND YE SHALL RECEIVE!
The voice booms forth from behind her as Lowri turns around. Harter is strolling down the corridor with that trademark crooked grin on his face, and a swagger in his step as he moves towards the irate Welsh woman.
Dom Harter: And wh--oh, well this is awkward…
Harter points at Lowri’s t-shirt, before pointing back at his own Miami Midnight t-shirt. He does own the team, after all. But the light-hearted approach doesn’t cut it for Lowri. Her eyes jump from side to side trying to find the rest of the crows that are no doubt flanking their leader. A hint of apprehension in her voice as she stares back into the eyes of Dom Harter.
Lowri Moss: Our respective choice of t-shirts is the least of my worries. You know what's on my mind, and it's nothing LFL-related.
Despite the apparent absence of any of the other members of The New Murder, Lowri keeps her guard up. Dom’s feeling cocky, though, and just shrugs his shoulders.
Dom Harter: Let me guess, something something Mid-Atlantic Legacy title, something something making piledrivers deadly again. And I’m to blame for you not being the champion right now, and for that concussion you suffered, and for you not winning a battle royal...is that the gist of it?
His obvious indifference only causes Lowri's feelings of anger towards him to rise.
Lowri Moss: It’s taking all of my self-control not to slap that smirk off your smug face.
Lowri clenches her hands into fists. She then unclenches them, as she takes a breath, in a vain attempt to calm herself down.
Lowri Moss: How can you stand there, after what you did to me and to Neal, and talk about it like it’s all just some kind of joke?
Dom Harter: ...because it is.
He states, his voice ripe with incredulity. Lowri’s fists clench by her sides and she grits her teeth. Dom steps forward, closing in on Lowri’s personal space as he continues talking.
Dom Harter: Don’t you remember? You told me that Dickie Harter had the best hair in pro wrestling, so in response I soaked your hand in warm water while you slept…
He chuckles, but Lowri’s memories of her pissing in the hotel bed are much less fond. Her scowl is so strong her face reddens, but it’s Dom who speaks first.
Dom Harter: ...oh, come on, Lowri, lighten up. That was funny! But then you had to go and retaliate - and scar me!
He gestures to his hair - the hair that Lowri dyed blond, with some assistance from Annie Zellor. His histrionic scream doesn’t startle the Welsh woman, though, and her scowl remains intact.
Dom Harter: So I had to respond, and poor Neal was in the way. And his ankle was right there, Lowri, it was right there...I couldn’t resist. So I smashed it against the wall; I hurt him, Lowri, because you hurt me...
Lowri Moss: You know Annie helped me with that.
Dom Harter: And now I’m dating her, so you got off lightly!
Lowri Moss: Hardly. You cost me my chance of becoming the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion. You know as well as anyone how much I want to win that title, and now, thanks to you, I'm back to square one.
A visibly annoyed Lowri lets out a huff.
Lowri Moss: I knew you would do something to get back at me, but do you really think that me dying your hair justifies your actions? Embarrassing me by making me wet my hotel bed was one thing, but now you're messing with my career.
Dom Harter: ...I haven’t even started yet.
Harter reaches over and clasps a hand across Lowri’s shoulder. She flinches, but only ever so slightly as Dom stares into her eyes.
Dom Harter: But not tonight - you’re safe tonight, as long as you stay out of my way. It’s Elon’s turn, and maybe Effie if she feels the need to stick her nose into my business again, like she did last time. So you rest up, reconsider whether you really want to get into this war. And stay on alert in case you want to play the hero again…
Lowri stares back at Dom, as she replies.
Lowri Moss: I'll leave it to the Elysian siblings to look after themselves - I'm sure they don't need my help. But as for this "war," as you choose to describe it...
She then pushes him away from her, as he smirks back at her.
Lowri Moss: You've left me with next to nothing - no tag team partner, no title...all I have left is a desire to get even with you. And after what you've done, doing something cosmetic to you again, like dying your hair, isn't going to cut it.
Dom Harter: Then I await your next move…
Harter backs away, his hands raised in the air so Lowri knows there are no tricks coming. But that ever-present crooked grin on his face only serves to unsettle her as Dom disappears around the corner. Lowri, still looking visibly annoyed, takes in a deep breath as the show cuts back to...

¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tres! ¡Catorce!
Hello hello (Hola) I'm at a place called Vertigo (Donde esta?) It's everything I wish I didn't know Except you give me something I can feel, feel
Yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea Yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yeaIntrust Bank Arena Wichita, KS The video fades to an outside shot of the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas. We then transition inside to a wide shot of the arena. The camera then pans around, capturing the excited crowd. An FGA chant breaks out throughout several sections of the crowd, as well as a separate Vertigo chant... Kris Cruise: Hello, everyone and welcome to VERTIGO! I am Kris Cruise and joining me as always is my colleague, Stephy Auger! We are coming to you LIVE from the Intrust Bank Arena here in Wichita, Kansas! Tonight, the last four of Vertigo’s Frontier Lions Cup Qualifying Matches will be taking place! Who will advance to the First Round of the tournament in two weeks? Who will fail? Also here tonight, Elon Elysian, one half of the Elysian Empire, will go one on one with the leader of The New Murder, Dom Harter. Elon is looking for some retribution after Harter’s fellow crow Chris Bond took out Emery Elysian with a knee injury two weeks ago. Stephy Auger: First off, Dom Harter isn’t the leader of The New Murder. There are no leaders in The New Murder! Second of all, if Elon were smart, he would just turn around and leave the arena. He’s on the wrong side of the numbers game and unless he wants to share the same hospital room as his brother, he better leave well enough alone and just forfeit the match. Kris Cruise: Also in action here tonight, the #1 contender for the Pride Championship, Fujiko Mine, faces off against “The Burning Heart” James Edwards! Mr. Edwards didn’t take too kindly to Fujiko Mine being awarded a championship match by Chris Madison. Stephy Auger: Nor should he! I’m sure that he’s someone that’s had his eye on the Pride Championship for a while now. To see Fujiko Mine seemingly skip to the head of the line has to draw his ire. But he’s also upset at Chris Madison for not making Fujiko earn her championship match. Kris Cruise: Well I for one think that Chris Madison is a pretty good judge of character. If he feels like Fujiko Mine has done enough to earn a shot at his championship, then so be it. Though I do understand Edwards’ concerns. With that being said, Edwards might want to pull it back a bit. He got into it with GM Brandon Macdonald two weeks ago. We know that Fujiko Mine wasn’t exactly thrilled with his comments. I’m sure that Chris Madison probably feels the same way. The last thing that Edwards wants to do is make a ton of enemies here on Vertigo. But that’s not all, Stephy! We’ve also got a big main event coming up later on tonight. The FGA Undisputed Champion, Johnny Karma, returns to action here on Vertigo against “The Battle-Hardened Veteran” Chris Bond. These two men go way back to nearly four years ago, when Johnny Karma defeated Chris Bond for the Pride Champion at “Respect is Earned”. These two were on the same side of the war against Johnny Cannon and The New Kings last year. This year, they’re on opposite sides once again as Karma will be defending his championship against Bond’s fellow crow, Molly Reid, at Final Frontier. Stephy Auger: Both of these men are former two-time Pride Champions. But this match tonight isn’t about who was the better Pride Champion. It’s about Bond softening up Karma for Reid. I’m expecting Bond to take it to Karma here in the main event. Kris Cruise: We’ve got a solid lineup of action for you all here tonight. But right now, let’s send it to the ring where J.A. Aldridge is ready to give the introductions for our opening contest. Take it away... Frontier Lions Cup (Qualifying Round) Susan Kent vs. Daniel Widdel Acoustic chords of "Nothing Personal" by Night Riots echo through the sound system. When the hard hitting chorus hits, Daniel Widdel steps on stage. He extends out his arms out to his sides leaning his head back soaking in the positive reaction from the fans. Daniel lowers his arms to pause for a moment to take in everything. J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL and it is a Qualifying Match for the 2017 Frontier Lions Cup Tournament! Introducing first, now residing in Santa Monica, California! Weighing in at 215 pounds… DANIEL WIDDEL!!! Daniel eyed the ring while he walked down the walkway. Daniel jumped onto the apron and sprung himself over the top rope. Daniel went to the furthest right turnbuckle and inaudible shouted out to pump up the fans and himself. He jumped down the turnbuckle and stood in the ring. Kris Cruise: With the war against Stunray firmly behind him, Daniel Widdel is looking to make his way to the top of FGA. A quick way to the top if by winning the Frontier Lions Cup. But facing off with him tonight is Susan Kent. You can bet that the Wichita native will be looking to come away with a huge win in front of the hometown crowd. Susan appears on the stage and uses her hand to fans the crowd, she walks to the ring shaking hands with the fans, she climbs the ropes from the outside and waves to the fans, then climbs down into her corner. J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from WICHITA, KANSAS… SUSAN KENT!!! Stephy Auger: You say she’s looking to come away with the big win. But I don’t think she can do it. Think of all the pressure that’s on her tonight. Think of all her friends and family that are in the crowd. I think she’s going to crumble under all the pressure. The bell sounds as Kent is greeted with a surge of cheers from the hometown crowd. LET’S GO, SUSAN! LET’S GO, SUSAN! LET’S GO, SUSAN! Kent smiles before turning her attention back to Widdel. The two grapplers lock up. Kent quickly slips on a side headlock before being thrown down with a belly to back side slam. Widdel makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kent kicks out. After moving Kent into the corner, Widdel delivers a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. He then takes Kent and sends her into the opposite corner with an irish whip. Widdel runs across the ring to attack. But he ends up getting turned around after a boot to the face. While Widdel staggers away from the corner, Kent comes up from behind and goes for a running bulldog. But Widdel is able to shove Kent off into the ropes. When she comes back, she knocks him down with a crossbody. ONE! . . TWO! . . Widdel kicks out. Kris Cruise: Quick nearfall there from Kent. This Qualifying Match is Kent’s biggest match to date. Couple that with this being in her hometown, she’s gotta be feeling butterflies in her stomach. But it all comes down to how she’s going to be able to adjust and deal with this pressure. Kent brings Widdel back to his feet and knocks him back with a European Uppercut. The Wichita native then rocks him with a hard left hook. Kent throws out and connects with another European Uppercut, followed by a hard left hook. She then takes Widdel by the wrist and goes for an irish whip. But Widdel, reverses, sending Kent into the ropes. When Kent returns, Widdel throws out a clothesline. But Kent ducks and heads into the far ropes. When she comes back, Widdel throws her down with an STO. After pulling Kent up to a seated position, Widdel turns and runs into the ropes. When he returns, he throws out a running kick to the face. But Kent is able to roll out of the way. When Widdel turns around, Kent knocks him back with a running dropkick. She returns to her feet, heads back over to Widdel and brings him down to the canvas with a headscissors takedown. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Widdel kicks out. Kent picks up Widdel and knocks him back with three backhand chops before sending him into the far ropes with an irish whip. When Widdel returns, he gets brought down with a hurricanrana. Instead of going for the pin, Kent heads towards the side of the ring. She hops onto the middle ropes and flips back for a Lionsault. But she ends up landing across Widdel’s knees. He then quickly gets on top of her back and applies an arm trap cross-legged STF. The ref gets down and asks Kent if she wants to give up. But the Wichita native refuses. The fans in the crowd begin to rally behind Kent while Widdel fights for the submission. Kent can be heard groaning in pain while Widdel relentlessly pulls back on the hold. Kent grits her teeth while she tries to fight through the pain. The referee asks Kent once more if she wants to give. In spite of the pain that she’s in, Kent refuses. A frustrated Widdel then lets go. He reaches down, pulls up Kent and hooks both arms before throwing her down with a lifting sitout double underhook facebuster. Instead of going for the cover, Widdel turns over and locks Kent in the crucifix neck crank. Kris Cruise: Widdel’s got Kent locked in another submission! Can she hang on? Stephy Auger: She better! Could you imagine tapping out in your own backyard? The ref kneels down and asks Kent if she wants to give up. Kent refuses by shaking her head from side to side. Once Widdel realizes that Kent has once again refused to throw in the towel, Widdel pulls back on the hold. Kent wails while she’s once again trapped in another submission. The Wichita crowd starts to rally behind Kent once more. Kent tries to feed off the reaction from the crowd. But Widdel’s got her arms trapped. He begins cranking her body upward, which causes Kent to howl in pain. The ref asks Kent if she wants to give up. But once again, Kent refuses. A frustrated Widdel lets go. The crowd applauds after Kent survived another submission hold. Kris Cruise: He couldn’t get her to submit! Widdel brings Kent back to her feet and quickly applies a waist lock from behind. He goes to lift Kent up for a German Suplex. But Kent is able to block the move by delivering an elbow on the way up. Once Kent is lowered back down, Kent nails him with another elbow, breaking the hold. Now that’s she’s free, Kent motions to run towards the ropes. But before she can get away, Widdel quickly applies a rear naked choke from behind. Widdel cinches in the hold and once again tries to get a submission. But Kent is able to counter with a kneeling jawbreaker. While Widdel is dazed, Kent doubles him over with a kick to the midsection before bringing him down with a sitout facebuster. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Widdel gets his shoulder up. Kent knocks Widdel over into the corner with four hard left hooks. She then brings him from out of the corner before whipping him into the far ropes. When Widdel returns, she gets caught right across the face with a spinning heel kick. Kent makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Widdel gets his shoulder up. Kent picks up Widdel and goes for an irish whip. But Widdel is able to reverse and send her crashing into the turnbuckles. Widdel runs across the ring to attack, but Widdel gets knocked back by a back elbow. While Widdle is dazed, Kent quickly hops onto the apron through the ropes before planting him with a springboard Tornado DDT. Kent gets to her feet before running into the ropes. When she comes back, she connects with a Rolling Thunder senton. Kent returns back to her feet before running towards the ropes again. She hops onto the second rope, flips back and hits the Lionsault. The cheers continue as Kent hooks the leg for the cover… ONE! . . TWO! . . Widdel gets his shoulder up. Kris Cruise: She almost had him! Kent picks up Widdel, places him in a front facelock and delivers a running bulldog. While Widdel slowly turns over onto his back, Kent steps through the ropes and scales to the top turnbuckle. She then raises her arms in the air before leaping off and going for the Photo Op (Frog Splash). But Widdel gets his knees up at the very last second, causing the crowd to groan. After Kent crashes across his knees, she bounces off of them and curls up. Once Kent slowly gets back to her feet, Widdel grabs her from behind and throws her down with an inverted powerslam. Widdel places her in a grounded front facelock, brings her back to her feet, lifts her up and drops her with an Implant DDT. While Kent is sprawled out on the apron, Widdel heads into the corner before climbing the turnbuckles. After Widdel reaches the top, he jumps back and delivers a diving back elbow drop. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd cheers when “Nothing Personal” hits the speakers. J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner, DANIEL WIDDEL! The cheers continue when Widdel gets his arm raised. Kris Cruise: Daniel Widdel picks up the win and had advanced to the First Round of the Frontier Lions Cup! Tough break for Susan Kent, who came up short in front of the hometown crowd.

Jessie Pedersen stands at the ready, microphone in hand. With her now are two Vertigo stars in Ymir Ocampos and Luke Jackson. The crowd cheers upon seeing the duo on the titantron. The pair glance at each other and share a smile at their warm crowd reaction. As well as being decked out in her ring gear, Ymir wears a Vertigo snapback hat. Despite not being in action himself, Luke is also in his complete ring attire. With the opposition Ymir’s facing tonight, one can never be too careful. Jessie smiles at the camera. Jessie Pederson: Good evening ladies and gentlemen! As you can see, I'm here with none other than Ymir Ocampos and Luke Jackson. Another cheer comes from the crowd. Jessie Pederson: Ymir… two weeks ago you did not qualify for the Frontier Lions Cup. An interference on Faye Valentine’s part ruined your competitive match with Flavia Rocha … but Frontier Lions Cup or not, the stakes are undeniably high for you this evening. This is no doubt one of the more personal matches lined up for tonight. Do you feel prepared for your contest with Faye? Ymir Ocampos: After the Battle Royal, interference or not, that match with Flavia was the second loss I’ve had under FGA's bright lights. I took those two losses very seriously. We are on the road to Final Frontier. Every match we’ve had since the draft… Every match from today counts to that. It’s one of FGA’s marquee events. An event so big it follows All Star Showdown’s footsteps in being held across two nights… it’s only the second show in FGA history to do that. For those who’ve been paying attention, you’ve probably caught me competing in Mexico. You’ve probably seen my bouts in Europe… and all of it has been preparation for the days I do battle on FGA’s green brand. So make no mistake… The Mighty Ymir is ready to give the fans right here in Wichita, Kansas… The mention of their town earns a cheap pop from the crowd. Ymir smiles Ymir Ocampos: … a grand performance that will stir them up like nothing else. Jessie nods and turns to Luke. Jessie Pederson: Luke, as we know, you’ll be down at ringside in Ymir’s corner as will Kimiko in Faye’s. Do you have any insights you’d like to share regarding tonight’s match? Luke looks at Jessie for a moment. Luke Jackson: Look, I’ve seen first hand that Ymir is working as hard as anyone on this roster to improve her craft. You heard her yourself. She is putting in the work required to perform at this level. Which is why it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that she can be a threat to anybody here. Serpent’s Touch took a hit to their pride when we eliminated them from the Battle Royal last month. So they took their frustrations out by involving themselves in our Qualifying matches for the Frontier Lions Cup. But we have our pride too. When you bite at somebody, you get bit back. That's just common sense. Somebody that's not prepared to get hit back shouldn’t take up a career in wrestling of all things. Faye Valentine likes to talk about consequences… but Serpent’s Touch thought they could insult us for having dreams and aspirations without consequences themselves. They thought they could crush our chances at exposure in the Frontier Lions Cup but we decided to bring them back to reality. Because everyone here is a fighter. We all know our value. Deep down we all have that animal instinct needed to find success here. And now, Faye has carelessly placed her arm in Shaya's mouth. And as a result of that, Faye is now on the verge of having her entire arm devoured in their very first engagement. It's too late to pull your hand back now, Faye. Kimiko won’t be saving you from all the emotion Ymir has pent up inside of her. The crowd cheers at this statement of intent from the young stars. Ymir nods in strong agreement. Ymir Ocampos: This is Frontier Grappling Arts. Where expectations swirl together and become unclear. FGA is America's prided wrestling kingdom, and the day will come when I challenge its throne. I will be the one to one day lead this world to a new dawn. If I had my way, FGA will be entering a most ferocious era that would make even Chris Q and Blaine Harrison turn pale. Why do you think I wear myself down to the bone trying to build up my match experience? I want to be the ace... I need results. I need to show I am a contender for the Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship. A title reign starts long before you win the title. As the challenger, people want to know what do you bring to the table.. I will begin with Faye Valentine. In a singles contest, there are two wishes… but only one of the two will come true. A wrestling match is cruel. That's all. The winner shines under a piece of cloudless sky. It’s like the difference between heaven and earth. But tonight.. I am going to beat Faye Valentine and I won’t have any sympathy for her. Ymir peers into the camera with a smile. Ymir Ocampos: I hope you’re ready for me, Faye. See, there's this rumour going around…. that FGA's ruler of the skies, Ymir of The Rain, doesn't respect the laws of gravity at all! It's about time you realise that I really won't be taken down with ordinary measures. if you're gonna make a smug face, now's the time. Because I'm really looking forward to what face you're gonna be making thirty minutes from now. If you decide that you're going to be a wall that's standing in my way, then I have something that will open a hole in you every time! And that something... are my legs! The most powerful legs you'll ever see. My legs are the legs that will pierce the heavens! I know you think I’m worthless… it's too bad, then. Because I won't fall until you fall. Until you stop… I'll keep standing back up. I will betray your expectations. And naturally, I will show you that when someone as petty as you gets in my way… I’m not just going to beat them, I’m going to [BLEEP]in’ KILL THEM!! YEEEEEEEAAAAH!!! The crowd cheers in delighted anticipation for the match. Nodding to Jessie, Ymir and Luke head off to complete last minute preparations for Ymir’s match. • COMMERCIAL BREAK •

The camera follows Susan Kent as she makes her way to her locker. Whe enters and closes the door, Jessie Pederson, her mom, Keller, and Kendra are waiting outside, the door opens, Susan stands in the door in her street clothes.
Susan Kent: Hey.
Marsha and Keller walk into her locker room, Kendra not feeling welcome especially from Marsha stands outside.
Jessie Pederson: So any comments on your match tonight?
Susan Kent: It was a tough match. I wish It would have gone my way, but Daniel Widdel is an outstanding competitor, and I wish him good luck in the Frontier Lions Cup Tourney.
Jessie Pederson: The crowd was really behind you tonightW Were you nervous about performing in front of your hometown fans?
Susan Kent: Surprisingly no.
Jessie Pederson: So, where do you go from here?
Susan Kent: Like I've stated before, I want to work hard and keep improving, and continue to give the fans great matches!
Jessie Pederson: Like the one tonight.
Susan Kent: Yeah!
The is some brief silence before Marsha speaks.
Marsha Kent: Susan, Keller and I are Heading to Eddie's BBQ pit. Would you like to come to Jessie?
Jessie Pederson: Thanks for the invitation, but I have to continue getting these post-match interviews and stuff.
Marsha Kent: Okay, just thought I'd ask because I watch the show and you've always been friendly and polite to Susan.
Jessie Pederson: Thanks, Mrs. Kent
Susan Kent: I see you later, Jessie.
Susan, Keller, and Marsha step out of the locker room.

In the backstage area, we see Spencer Burke standing by, a smile on his face.
Spencer Burke: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time....Kol.
The audience boos as Kol walks into the shot, dressed in street clothes yet again as he smirks at the reaction he receives.
Spencer Burke: Kol, I’m just going to get straight to the point. It’s clear some people are unhappy about you receiving a bye into the first round of the Frontier Lions Cup.
Kol: By some people, do you mean James Edwards?
Spencer nods, getting a chuckle out of Kol.
Kol: Some people needs to worry about themselves and what they’re doing instead of worrying about me. Some people need to ensure that they’ll still be here in a few months instead of worrying about the guy who ensures you he’ll be here for years to come. I’m doing my thing, you should do your own and focus on yourself.
Kol shakes his head.
Kol: But noooo, James Edwards needs to say something about someone as talented as myself getting a spot in the prestigious tournament that he had to actually qualify for. But wait, didn’t he end up getting a bye of his own basically? I mean, he didn’t break a sweat when you really think about it. All he had to do was sit back and let the ref give him a nice forfeit win. So really, can James Edwards open his mouth and talk about me when he basically is now in the same boat as me?
The New Yorker chuckles.
Kol: And if we’re being truthful...he doesn’t deserve a bye, but I sure as hell do. I am a hall of famer, which means that I not only helped build Hard Knox Wrestling but I helped improve it year after year after year. Who the f**k is James Edwards compared to me? He’s nothing, Spencer. I know that’s what you were going to answer with, but don’t worry, I got you.
Spencer Burke: That’s not what I was going to say...
Kol: DON’T WORRY, I GOT YOU.
Spencer raises a hand up as to say “my bad”, clearly not wanting to test Kol, who continues on with what he has to say.
Kol: But honestly? I have bigger things to deal with than some idiot’s opinion. There’s some qualifying matches tonight that I will be keeping a close eye on.
Spencer Burke: Would you like to talk about tonight’s matches? Maybe make some predictions.
Kol: No, that’s unnecessary. I don’t care enough to make any predictions. I know that one winner gets me, which kind of sucks for them, but I also know that any of these people can be standing in between myself and that cup. So I’m going to watch and I’m going to pay close attention to each and every match. Do what I do best and spot the weakness. Then, when the time comes?
He smiles.
Kol: It won’t matter who it is, I’ll be ready for them. It won’t matter if it’s someone new like Magnum or someone who has been here for a minute like Flavia. I’m going to be ready...and I’m going to enjoy kicking the crap out of whoever it is. Man, woman, veteran, rookie. It just doesn’t matter. All that matters is my name being engraved on that cup...and getting a shot at the FGA World championship.
Kol then walks off, not allowing Spencer to ask anything else before we cut elsewhere.

SINGLES MATCH Faye Valentine vs. Ymir Ocampos The illustrious opening of "The Final Countdown" begins to play and the crowd is bathed in the splendid glow of gold lighting. As the main riff begins rocking the arena, “Ymir of The Rain" appears amidst the fans. Back to us, feet placed wide apart and an arm reaching towards the heavens, the crowd roars. She wore supple hotpants, trendy sports bra-esque top, kneepads and shinguards (over black high boots), all a sheer confection of fine red and silver, and a funky pair of sunglasses. J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! She is ‘Ymir of the Rain” YMIRRRRR OOOOCAAAAMPOOSSSS!!! Her high collared cape was her crowning glory; flashy, glamorous, and dazzling and a marvelous colour - the colour of blood and flame and sunsets. Spinning on her heel , Ymir Ocampos points to the cameras and poses for the fans. She proceeded to boldly wade through this huge sea of fans with more energy than a concert. Without pause, the fans sing the renowned lyrics as one when Ymir hits the ring. Leaping inside, her smile as bright as the noonday sun, she climbs a turnbuckle to pump an arm in the air and point a single index finger to the sky - an obvious challenge to whoever lurks in heaven. Kris Cruise: The personal issues between Ymir Ocampos, Luke Jackson and Serpent’s Touch continue here tonight, Jessie, when Ymir takes on Faye Valentine. Ymir’s been on a bit of a slide lately, losing the Battle Royal, losing to Flavia Rocha by DQ, as well as a pair of losses over in Germany. She’s desperate for a win, Stephy. Stephy Auger: Oh yeah, I can hear in her voice just how desperate she is. Desperate people do desperate things, Cruise. They’re also prone to making mistakes. It wouldn’t surprise me if someone as young and as inexperienced as Ocampos screws up and makes a costly error. "Bang Bang" by Faye Valentine begins to play. The lights dim and smoke covers the stage, a silhouette of The Divine Valentine visible through all the smoke. She starts singing her own theme as the smoke slowly dissipates around her. You don't know it comes naturally Sometimes you gotta dig in the dirty to get what you need What I need, I need is you I'm going all out to be with you Faye begins walking down the ramp, towards the ring, continuing to sing her own theme. She dances seductively and flirts with the fans at ringside, clearly enjoying the attention she's getting, and she's getting everyone's attention. She graces a fan at ringside with an intimate touch, sliding the tip of her two fingers across his cheek, as her voice helps him reach ecstasy, but she breaks off mere moments before he reaches nirvana. Faye smirks at him, leaving him, and the rest of the crowd, always wanting more. J.A. Aldridge: And her opponent, from Haworth, New Jersey! She is “The Divine Valentine” FAYE VAAAAALLLEEEENNNNTIIIINE!!! Bang bang, I want it Shoot me down and I want it When I tell him that I want it He says "Louder!" Faye walks up the steel steps and lingers on the apron, facing the crowd. She dances for a bit before she spins around and inside the ring, straddling the ropes through which she entered the ring, as she continues singing. The crowd dances to her song, latching onto every word that slithers out of her lips. Finally, as she ends her performance, she whips her hair back and comes back down to the mat, grinning playfully at everyone, including the referee and her opponent. She surrenders her microphone to a stagehand and warms up before the match, another performance, begins. Kris Cruise: Faye Valentine and her cohort are used to the sneak attacks, the 2-on-1 advantage and attacking their opponents from behind. But not tonight. She’s got to face Ymir Ocampos one on one with Luke Jackson on the outside to make sure that Kimiko doesn’t try anything slick. The bell sounds as Ocampos and Valentine rush towards the center of the ring. Valentine throws out a lariat, but Ocampos is able to roll underneath it. When Valentine turns around, Ocampos throws out a clothesline. But Valentine is able to duck it. Once both grapplers turn back to each other, they throw out a dropkick at the same time. Ocampos and Valentine return to their feet and throw out another pair of dropkicks at the same time. After the Valentine and Ocampos return to their feet, Ocampos nails Valentine with a knife edge chop. Valentine returns the favor with a knife edge chop of her own. Ocampos delivers another knife edge chop. Valentine comes right back with another knife edge chop. Ocampos nails Valentine with two knife edge chops. Valentine comes back with three knife edge chops of her own. Ocampos returns with four knife edge chops. Valentine responds with five knife edge chops. Ocampos motions for another knife edge chop. But Valentine cuts her off with another chop. Valentine then nails Ocampos with another knife edge chop… and another… and another. She then takes Ocampos and goes for an irish whip. But Ocampos reverses, sending Valentine into the ropes. When Valentine returns, Ocampos knocks her down with a standing shoot kick to the chest. She then reaches down, pulls Valentine into a seated position and nails her with a shoot kick to the back. While Valentine arches her back, Ocampos turns and runs into the ropes. When Ocampos returns, the crowd cheers when she flattens Valentine with a front dropkick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder up. Ocampos presses her down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder. Ocampos mounts herself on top of Valentine and hammers away with a flurry of elbow strikes to the face. Kris Cruise: Look at Ocampos! She’s going right after Valentine! Stephy Auger: Yeah she is. But all that aggression can easily turn into a disqualification if she’s not careful and this time? She’d have no one to blame but herself. After pulling Valentine up by the hair, Ocampos takes Valentine and whips her into the corner. Ocampos runs over to attack, but Valentine knocks her back with a boot to the face. She then runs from out of the corner and throws out another clothesline. But once again, Ocampos ducks and runs into the ropes. Before Ocampos can even bounce back, Valentine doubles her over with a running knee strike. She then brings Ocampos into the corner, lifts her up across her shoulders and lays her down horizontally across the top turnbuckle. After performing a backward roll towards the center of the ring, Valentine charges back to the corner and connects with a rising knee lift, knocking Ocampos off the top turnbuckle and sending her crashing to the floor. Kris Cruise: Oh my! Valentine put a little something extra behind that knee strike! Kimiko motions over towards Ocampos when Jackson scurries over and gets in between Kimiko and his friend. While Kimiko reluctantly backs up, Jackson helps Ocampos back up to her feet. Jackson claps in support of Ocampos while she gets back in the ring. Both her and Valentine begin to circle the ring before heading towards the center of the ring to lock up. Ocampos motions for a collar and elbow tie-up, but Valentine hits her with a shoot kick to the leg. She then nails Ocampos with a shoot kick to the opposite leg before knocking her back with a European Uppercut. Valentine knocks Ocampos back with another European Uppercut before sending her into the ropes with an irish whip. When Ocampos returns, Valentine leans forward to set up a back body drop. So Ocampos stops, turns away from Valentine and rolls backwards across Valentine’s back as Valentine stands up. When Valentine turns around, she gets rocked with a roundhouse kick. Ocampos then doubles Valentine over with a kick to the midsection before planting her with a DDT. Ocampos rolls through the DDT and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder up. Ocampos picks up Valentine and knocks her back into the ropes with a trio of knife edge chops. She goes for another irish whip. But Valentine reverses and sends Ocampos into the far ropes. When Ocampos returns, she goes for a crossbody block. But Valentine’s able to catch her in mid air and counter with the Faye-away Slam (fallaway slam). After Ocampos picks herself up off the mat, Valentine rushes over and connects with the Heartseeker I (running double front dropkick), sending Ocampos flying into the corner. Ocampos slumps down in the corner and holds the back of her head. Valentine sees this, so she marches over and drags Ocampos away from the corner. She then pulls Ocampos back to her feet before dropping her on the back of her head with a lifting inverted DDT. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Ocampos gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Valentine dropped Ocampos right on the back of her head. But she only gets two. Both of these two teams are trying to make their way to the top of Vertigo’s tag team division. While the World Tag Team Champions are defending their championship over on Flashpoint, they have to come over here and defend against one of our top teams at some point. Both Serpent’s Touch, as well as Ocampos & Jackson, want to be that team! Valentine picks up Ocampos and positions her for an Exploder suplex when Ocampos counters with a trio of back elbows to the head. Once she’s free, Ocampos applies a Muay Thai Clinch and lays into Valentine with rapid knee strikes to the face. Ocampos follows up with a rolling koppu kick that knocks Valentine down. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder up. Ocampos picks up Valentine and goes for an irish whip. But Valentine reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Ocampos returns, Valentine throws out a back elbow to the face. But Ocampos ducks and runs into the far ropes. When Ocampos returns, Valentine throws out another lariat. But Ocampos ducks and continues to run the ropes. When she comes back, the crowd cheers when she plants Valentine with a Satellite DDT. While Valentine is sprawled out on the apron, Ocampos steps out onto the apron and climbs to the top turnbuckle. Instead of diving onto Valentine, she knocks Kimiko down with a corkscrew moonsault on the outside. Kris Cruise: Ocampos just took out Kimiko! She wasn’t about to let Kimiko try and get involved in this match, so she struck first! Stephy Auger: What was that for!? When Ocampos climbs back up onto the apron, Valentine heads over to attack. But Ocampos is able to counter with a rope-assisted gamengiri. She then knocks Valentine down with the Black rain (springboard clothesline). The cheers continue as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder up. Ocampos picks up Valentine and whips her into the ropes. When Valentine returns, she brings Ocampos down with a Sling Blade. She then picks up Ocampos, drags her over to the side of the ring and chokes her along the middle rope. The crowd boos Valentine while the ref gives her until the count of five to break the choke. ref ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Valentine lets go and backs up. While Jackson checks on Ocampos while she’s still draped across the middle rope, Valentine turns and runs into the afr ropes. When she comes back, the crowd boos when she flips over Ocampos and knocks Jackson down with a suicide somersault senton. Kris Cruise: Luke Jackson just got taken out by Faye Valentine! Stephy Auger: It’s only fair! Ymir did it to her partner. Now Faye Valentine is returning the favor! Good! The boos continue while Valentine climbs back up onto the apron. When she goes to climb to the top turnbuckle, Ocampos returns to her feet, runs up to the top turnbuckle and sends Valentine flipping down to the canvas with an avalanche frankensteiner! She crawls over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder up. Ocampos picks up Valentine and throws her down with a scoop slam before heading back into the corner. After scaling to the top turnbuckle, Ocampos flips back for a diving moonsault. But Valentine is able to roll out of the way. After Ocampos lands on her feet, she quickly flips back and hits a standing moonsault! She hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Another nearfall for Ymir! She can feel it, Stephy! She almost had it. Ocampos picks up Valentine and sends her into the corner with an irish whip. She then runs across the ring to attack. But Valentine steps out, grabs Ocampos and flings her into the turnbuckles with an Exploder Suplex. Valentine then steps out onto the apron before climbing to the top turnbuckle. The fans in the crowd stand up as Valentine jumps off and squashes Ocampos with a diving double foot stomp. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! The crowd cheers when Ocampos gets her shoulder up! Valentine brings Ocampos towards the center of the ring and delivers a side slam backbreaker. She then heads back out onto the apron before scaling to the top turnbuckle. Once Ocampos returns to her feet and turns around, Valentine knocks her down with the Heartseeker II (front missile dropkick). Valentine returns to her feet and begins to circle Ocampos. Ocampos can be seen struggling to turn over and push herself up on all fours. Valentine then raises her leg before flattening Ocampos with an axe kick to the back of the head. She then reaches down, pulls Ocampos back up and scoops her across her back before planting her with the Valentine Driver (running over-the-shoulder belly to back piledriver). While Ocampos lays sprawled out on the mat, Valentine heads into the corner. While Ocampos stirs on the canvas, Valentine begins to stomp on the canvas. The closer Ocampos gets to a vertical base, the faster the stomps get. When a groggy Ocampos begins to turn around, Valentine rushes from out of the corner and turns her inside out with the Kiss of Death (running bicycle kick). The boos continue as she pushes Ocampos over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd boos when “Bang Bang” hits the speakers. J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner, FAYE VALENTINE! Valentine rolls to the outside and gets her arm raised. The boos continue as Serpent’s Touch backs up the aisle. Back inside, Jackson rolls into the ring to check on Ocampos. Kris Cruise: Faye Valentine gets the decisive win here tonight in singles action! Ymir Ocampos will be devastated when she finally comes to. Stephy Auger: It’s time for her to face the facts. She’s just not ready to compete at this level! Maybe there’s still an opening for her down in SCCW?

An empty room just with one light illuminating one small spot...a stool where a man is sitted calmly. A man with his tall, lanky frame with his hair slicked back and an obvious long black beard though in terms of his dress he’s looking very professional with a black suit, a white dress shirt and a red tie. He has his hands in his pockets as he’s slouched. ?: My name is Seth Iser for those who don’t know and I’ve been in this industry for a loooong time… Iser crosses his arms and despite the professional manner he’s presenting it’s hard to deny he’s putting forth an intimidating aura. Seth Iser: And there are things that I have seen in that ring that would make a war veteran vomit. The amount of broken bones and blood spilled in the ring that I’ve seen could probably fuel an entire African country. I’ve endured some of the most painful injuries before and during my own wrestling career. Even survived detox when the people told me when I checked in that in all likelihood it would kill me. And hell...I’ve seen grown men die in that ring in the sport that truly is the successor to the gladiators. The calm manner that Iser is talking about these traumatic experiences is offsetting. He’s not raising his tone of voice for this. Seth Iser: And the amount of things I’ve survived and endured both in the ring and in my own personal life just through my own will...it’d make each of the people that buy a ticket shiver in fear. Though I doubt they’d ever understand because they’d rather be in their...safe spaces. There’s a slight hint of bitterness to Iser’s tone when he says those last two words. Seth Iser: Unlike many people when they get to this certain age and experience...I’m self aware to know I’ve got more matches behind me than ahead of me...so the question then turns to the here and now right? Why here? Why FGA? Why not honestly? Just because there are some young punks that I know in this company who have said publicly that the sport has passed me by...well doesn’t that make you just want to leave that man into a broken shell of a wrestler for ever questioning your ability even now? There is a noticeable scowl etched on Iser’s face as he taps his finger on his arm and leans forward as it’s obvious he’s at least starting to get a little more animated. Seth Iser: I kind of want to come in here and when I do get that chance way down the line I’d like to see what Johnny Karma’s blood smells like and how he reacts to taking a punch from yours truly just to see if he’s as good as the audience believes him to be. Maybe I want to split Owen’s skull open for his disrespect toward the wrestling industry. Perhaps I’d like to see if Tyler Storm can still go after a hiatus and see if he’s still able to wrestle at the level he once did. An even bigger part of me wants to show James Edwards after he whined and cried and complained about injustice in the company what TRUE injustice is in this sad, miserable world because there is nothing that a man of my experience hates is a man whining about his own lot in life compared to others and declaring it injustice when he should know the world doesn’t work like that. Never has, never will. The vein that’s on Iser’s forehead is showing as it’s obvious he’s agitated when speaking about injustice. He leans forward ever so slightly to present every bit of menace he can muster up. Seth Iser: But most of all...I’ve come here to preserve the foundation of what wrestling should be...and not what wrestling has become whether you people like it or not. I’m sick of people telling the wrestlers what a nice match they had all because they have a style or a personality that they identify with and then shun the others they don’t like because they can’t stand hearing the truth. Finally Iser ends up standing up but he’s in firm control of his emotions at least for the time being. He just balls his fist up in anger. Seth Iser: I’m more than grateful for what the industry has done for me and my family. But it makes me sick to my very soul to see what it’s become thanks to the fans...and thanks to some of the wrestlers. And it’s time I remind everybody in front of the damned world in this miserable pisshole of a country that we’ve become what the wrestling industry should truly be. It should all about going for victories...going for prestige...making money...and passing on the lessons you learned to the next generation. And if I have to clean the entire promotion of the toxic influence people have put in...then so be it. Iser sneers coldly as he pauses to think through his final words. Seth Iser: They say the fouler the medicine the better it works...and it’s probably going to be the worst tasting thing you lying cretins will ever endure. And it can also be the most painful experience you can endure just to reach a different level of understanding. It doesn’t matter who I have to go through or what I have to do considering the things I’ve had to do in my life to survive. I will make what I had endured in that detox seem soft compared to what everyone else has to go through in order to preserve wrestling in the way it should be. And in the end there won’t be a damn thing anybody can do to stop me. With that Iser just poses in a crucifix as he glares in an intimidating manner and the 6’5 brawler from Morgantown after that walks off after straightening his crooked tie. • COMMERCIAL BREAK •

We head backstage with Jessie Pederson holding a microphone to conduct an interview. She is standing by Daniel Widdel who is dressed in a blue singlet with his ‘DW’ logo printed, still in his wrestling tights. He looks jubilant, especially after earning his spot in the Frontiers Lion Cup after defeating Susan Kent.
Jessie Pederson: Daniel, first of, congratulations on your big win earlier. You defeated Susan Kent to earn yourself a spot in the Frontiers Lion’s Cup. How are you feeling?
Daniel Widdel:Relieved would be understatement. It was a contest alright, and I gotta give Susan her props. Getting over the first hurdle was one thing, but I can’t get overly zealous. There will be many more rounds I need to get through before I reach that pinnacle of Frontiers Lions Cup. All I can do is keep my focus to whatever lies ahead for me in this tournament.
Jessie Pederson: Daniel, there has been a lot of controversy over Vertigo’s newest signee, Kol getting a bye into the first round. Could we get your thoughts on the matter?
Daniel Widdel: Do I think it’s unfair? Definitely. But what is done is done. Our General Manager believes he’s a top star. Let him carry all the weight on the shoulders to prove how good he is. I’m unfamiliar with his work and what he has done, so I can’t comment on why he’s such a big deal - it’s his prerogative. But, if we do meet in the tournament, I’m more than happy to get a first hand experience of his alleged greatness he possess. But in the end of it all, I’d rather concentrate on myself more than anything in this tournament…
“Jessiccaaaaaa.” A female voice wails off camera.
The camera zooms out to show Mercy Williams walking into the frame. She has a big smile on her face with her hands resting on her hips. She wears a casual attire of a tight red singlet top that emphasised her ample cleavage with a pair distressed light denim jeans. Daniel looks around confused to why Mercy had just interrupted his interview. Mercy is oblivious to Daniel’s presence, pushed through in between to get closer to Jessie.
Mercy Williams: Can I have a quick word?
Mercy speaks with a high pitch, mocking Jessie’s voice.
Jessie Pederson: I don’t think-- I don’t think this is a good time, Mercy.
Mercy Williams: No, no… It’s a good time. It’s a perfect time. I mean, you are doing an interview in the middle of the show and I’m available.
Jessie Pederson: Mercy, you can’t---
Mercy rolled her eyes at Daniel. She was deeply offended that Daniel didn’t get the hint and scram already. Without turning around, Mercy waved her hand to brush Daniel away.
Mercy Williams: No one is interested in you. Really, didn’t I beat you once?
Jessie Pederson: No?...
Daniel raises an eyebrow at Mercy’s gaffe. Mercy huffed and stamped her feet, still having her back towards Daniel.
Mercy Williams: EXCUSEEE MEEE… don’t you ever shut up? You had your time and now it’s my time. Now bugger off, mate, I’m trying to prove a point here.
Mercy brashly raised her voice, quickly losing her cool. Daniel nervously laughed, but he didn’t want to take orders from an entitled brat like Mercy. Jessie had no choice to ease the tension, because somehow she was in the center of Mercy’s antics.
Jessie Pederson: Mercy, I could slot you i--
Mercy raises her hand towards Jessie’s face to stop her from offering a solution.
Mercy Williams: Not good enough! You work on MY time, not yours. You lost your privilege at the last Vertigo Afterburn. I won’t stand to be disrespected around here. I’m sick and tired of you all sleeping on my worth here on Vertigo. I’m pretty damn worthwhile. I mean, this guy…
Mercy reaches her arm out from behind her to feel if Daniel was still behind her. He was, as she felt up his pecs. Daniel helped Mercy’s hand off his chest, where she instantly yanked away in disgust.
Mercy Williams: This guy here is boring as anything and he gets to advance in the Frontiers Lions Cup? What even gives. Don’t even get me started on the boringest of them all, #BORECAMP - Owen Glovesgowan.
Jessie Pederson: It’s Gonsalves…
Mercy stamped her feet again with a shriek at Jessie’s attempt of correcting her on the name of the opponent from the last Vertigo she lost to.
Mercy Williams: Stop interrupting, Jessica. My point is, I deserve all the accolades around here and it’s a damn travesty that I don’t have a single one in my 2 year career. What is this injustice? Is it because I’m not a boring ass white male? Is that it? You people disgust me! And you know what? I’ve had enough of it because as of right now, things will be going MY WAY. Suck it up, you pathetic losers.
Mercy made a L shape with her left index finger and thumb to her forehead, pointing it towards both Jessie and Daniel before throwing a few objects around as she walked away. Mercy walked past a male backstage worker, throwing his papers and then throwing his glasses off his face.
Jessie Pederson: Well… That was something?
The camera focuses back on Daniel scratching his head, watching Mercy’s path of destruction. Jessie shrugged her shoulders, lost for words over the scene Mercy just made.

SINGLES MATCH Jimmy Page vs. Fenrys The scenes opens inside the arena as it was normally lit with the ring announcer ready to announce the upcoming competitor. Suddenly… “GIVE US YOUR GOLD!!!!!” Is heard blaring through the speakers as "Release The Hounds" by Satellites On Parade hits the PA System and the arena goes to pitch black. As the intro of the song plays out the lights flash red, blue and black constantly until Fenrys appears standing at the top of the ramp after forty seconds of the song plays out. With his hood of his coat up he stares down to the ring breathing heavy. Fenrys then looks around to the fans and growls before he makes his way down the ramp. As he makes it to the bottom of the ramp he drops to all fours and proceeds to walk on his fours over to the left side of the ring. J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for ONE fall! Introducing first, from The Wolves Den! Weighing in at 178 pounds… FENRYS!!! Fenrys pops up to his feet as he leans over the barricade scarring the fans at ringside before darting towards the ring and sliding into the bottom rope. He stands on his knees in the center of the ring and looks up to the ceiling howling up to the sky while his arms were spread out. He then stands up to his feet and walks over to a corner and removes his fur coat. After giving it to the stagehand outside the ring, Fenrys crouches down in the corner as we waits for the match to begin. Kris Cruise: It was confirmed earlier today that at Final Frontier, Jimmy Page will finally get his hands on Chris Bond when they go one on one. Bond’s fellow crow Fenrys has probably been instructed by Dom Harter to soften up Page for “The Battle-Hardened Veteran.” Stephy Auger: How many times do I have to keep telling you this? There are no leaders in The New Murder! Besides, Chris Bond can handle Jimmy Page all on his own. However, if Fenrys wants to take it upon himself to inflict damage on Page, then I’m sure Bond won’t look a gift horse in the mouth. A song crashes into the P.A. system that sounds of static and a guitar. The lights begin to flash a violent red frantically. As the song "Murdered Out" by Kim Gordon really kicks in, the lights continue to flash red. A silhouette appears at the entrance. With a controlled stagger, Jimmy Page comes from the back, head down and arms out from his sides. Page swaggers down to the ring in at a methodical pace. The camera gets a close up of his hair covered face as he makes his way down the aisle. He stops at the top of the ramp, flinging his hair from his eyes and glaring around, chewing on a piece of gum. Through the static red, a spotlight follows Page as he makes his way to the front of the ring. He takes a running start, sliding on top of the apron. J.A. Aldridge: And his oppo- Fenrys knocks Page off the apron with a baseball slide. The boos continue as Fenrys heads to the outside and puts the boots to Page. Kris Cruise: Fenrys didn’t even let page get into the ring! The New Murder member reaches down, picks up Page and slams him face-first onto the apron before delivering a hard irish whip into the steel steps. A loud thud is heard when Page collides with the steps. Fenrys marches over towards Page and stomps away on him before picking him back up and rolling him back inside. Fenrys then rolls himself back in before making the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Page kicks out. Fenrys picks up Page and slams him face-first onto the top turnbuckle. After turning Page around, Fenrys latches onto his throat with both hands and chokes him while the crowd boos. The ref gives Fenrys until the count of five to break the choke. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Fenrys lets go before sending Page into the opposite corner with an irish whip. He then runs across the ring and connects with a hesitation dropkick. While Page begins to stumble from out of the corner, Fenrys grabs a hold of him and sends him into the far ropes with an irish whip. When Page returns, he sees Fenrys setting up for a back body drop. So he stops, places Fenrys in a front facelock and counters with The Paralyzing (neckbreaker across the knee). Kris Cruise: It might be all downhill from here for Fenrys... The cheers continue as Page picks up Fenrys and whips him into the ropes. When Fenrys returns, he gets turned inside out by a lariat. Page reaches down, yanks up Fenrys and sends him crashing sternum-first into the turnbuckles with an irish whip. As Fenrys stumbles back, Page runs over and flattens him with a lariat to the back of the neck. Page begins to circle Fenrys while Fenrys slowly pushes himself up on all fours. Page then strikes again, delivering a hard stomp to the left hand, then the right hand of Fenrys. While Fenrys stands on his knees, Page stands behind him and delivers an eye gouge. The ref gives Page until the count of five to break the illegal hold. Stephy Auger: ONETWOTHREEFOURFIVE call for the bell, ref and DQ him! Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Page lets go before trying to rip Fenrys’ mask off. Kris Cruise: Page is going to unmask Fenrys! He’s trying to rip that mask right off of Fenrys’ head! Page tugs away on the mask while Fenrys reaches up and hangs on for dear life. Page then lets go of the mask, steps back and lunges forward, bashing Fenrys in the back of the head with the Trauma Symphony (Bma Ye). He kicks Fenrys over onto his back before dropping down to make the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Fenrys gets his shoulder up. Kris Cruise: If Page is going this hard at Fenrys, just imagine what’s in store for Bond at Final Frontier. Stephy Auger: Bond has been in wars. He’s not called “The Battle-Hardened Veteran” for nothing. Whatever Page dishes out, he can take and give right back to him! Page picks up Fenrys and doubles him over with a knee strike to the midsection. He then lifts Fenrys up and positions him on his shoulders for a turnbuckle powerbomb. At the last second, Fenrys counters with a hurricanrana. Once Page gets back to his feet and turns around, Fenrys sends him flying back into the corner after a front dropkick to the chest. Fenrys returns to his feet, heads into the corner and stomps away on Page. After pulling Page from out of the corner by the hair, Fenrys brings him down with a pulling neckbreaker. Fenrys returns to his feet and delivers a standing senton, followed by a standing moonsault. The boos continue as he hooks the leg for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Page gets his shoulder up. Fenrys brings Page back to his feet before rocking him with a European Uppercut. Fenrys nails him with two more European Uppercuts before turning to run into the far ropes. When Fenrys returns, Page flattens him with a running big boot. He reaches down, grabs Fenrys and pulls him up by the mask before sending him back into the ropes. When Fenrys returns, Page delivers a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Fenrys bounces off of Page’s knees and rolls over towards the side of the ring. Fenrys begins to slowly pulls himself up using the ropes when Page runs over to attack. At the last second, Fenrys grabs the top rope and drops down, sending Page tumbling down to the floor. Once Page picks himself up on the outside, Fenrys takes off into the far ropes. When he returns, he leaps through the rope and connects with a topé suicida. Fenrys rolls back inside before taking off into the far ropes. When Fenrys returns, he lunges through the ropes and sends Page into the guardrail with another topé suicida. The crowd boos when Fenrys gets back to his feet and howls at the moon. After rolling back inside, The New Murder members takes off into the far ropes. When Fenrys returns, he leaps through the ropes for yet another topé suicida. This time, Page counters with a powerslam into the guardrail. The crowd cheers while Fenrys howls in pain. Kris Cruise: Fenrys went to the well one too many times and Page made him pay big time! Page picks up Fenrys and rolls him back inside. After rolling himself back in, he pulls up Fenrys before sending him into the corner with an irish whip. The King of the F’n World charges across the ring before nailing Fenrys with a running corner elbow smash. He then takes Fenrys and sends him over into the opposite corner with an irish whip. Page runs across the ring before nailing Fenrys with another corner elbow smash. He then grabs Fenrys, pulls him from out of the corner, scoops him up from the side and delivers a pendulum backbreaker. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Fenrys gets his shoulders up. Page pulls up Fenrys before hurling him across the ring with a double underhook suplex. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Fenrys gets his shoulder up. As Page goes to pick up Fenrys, Fenrys rakes him across the eyes. The boos continue as Fenrys takes Page and tosses him through the ropes and to the outside. Fenrys holds his back while he steps back towards the center of the ring. Once Page gets up on the outside, Fenrys runs into the corner and goes for a Triangle Asai Moonsault. But Page is able to catch him across his shoulder. Page then turns, runs and drops Fenrys face-first across the steel steps with a snake eyes. The crowd cheers when Fenrys bounces off the steps and falls to the floor. Page then kicks off the top half of the steel steps before dragging Fenrys on top of the bottom half. After pulling Fenrys back to his feet, Page lifts him upside down before planting him with a cradle piledriver on the steel steps. Kris Cruise: Page with a cradle piledriver right on the steel steps! My goodness, did you hear that thud!? Stephy Auger: Who does he think he is with that piledriver, Dom Harter!? Page takes Fenrys and rolls him back inside before sliding back in. He brings Fenrys back to his feet, lifts him up onto his shoulders, runs into the corner and delivers a turnbuckle powerbomb. As Fenrys staggers out of the corner, Page flattens him with Sole Destruction (rolling big boot). Page reaches down and slowly pulls Fenrys up off the mat before grabbing him from behind. Page then rolls Fenrys out in front of him before clobbering him with the Concussion (ripcord rolling elbow). The cheers continue as he makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd explodes with cheers as “Murdered Out” blasts over the PA. J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner, JIMMY PAGE! The cheers continue while Page gets his arm raised. Kris Cruise: Jimmy Page takes care of Fenrys and gets the W. It doesn’t compare to wrapping his hands around the throat of Dom Harter or Chris Bond, but I’m sure it still must feel good for him. Stephy Auger: Page got the win tonight. Good for him. But he won’t stand victorious over Bond at Final Frontier. I guarantee it!

Pedro Gonzales: Señor Magnum. A camera backstage is zoomed in on the reflection of Pedro Gonzales. He isn't looking at the mirror or the camera at first, instead keeping his head down. Just like he always has. Like a punk. He knows what he seems to be showing to the fans. The same humble, horrible Pedro trying to find his words and perhaps in many ways, they'd be right. But as he runs a hand through his hair, the nervousness that would normally be coupled with this action doesn't appear. Instead, it is greeted by a smile as by his own touch, he is preventing himself from being too reckless. Pedro Gonzales: Sí. The Irish Superman, so extraordinary and yet so flawed, is my first opponent on my road to...I don't know what you would call it. Redemption is too strong a word. Maybe reconstruction is better. A sigh. Pedro Gonzales: In either case, allow me to tell you the absolutely unfiltered, unorganized truth. The ripping and tearing of wrist tape begins. A circular motion hypnotic in its own is balanced by his own easy breathing. Pedro Gonzales: I watched your press conference, ya know. It was interesting. I'm still surprised by it, in fact. I am shocked that there is still a person out there that believes in being a hero. That hard work and dedication will take you wherever you need to go. That the battle is going to be good and evil and, were it come your way of thinking, that the heroes will defeat anything the darkness will throw at them. If you would've asked me a year ago...hell, even a month ago, I probably would've agreed. The tape detaches from its roll and starts the process again. Pedro Gonzales: But to be honest? I'm not so sure if that's all it takes. I'm not sure if iron will and good intentions are what pave the way to success. I am beginning to think that being the hero and wearing the cape isn't going to be what it takes to be a champion or to matter in this landscape. I was watching from the cheap seats on the last Vertigo. I saw what the fans see all the time. With that done, Mexico City's Favorite Son still doesn't look up. A bandana gets tied atop his head Pedro Gonzales: I see a dog eat dog world. Don't get me wrong. There's still a part of me that still wants to believe. But the idealism is kinda dying in my view. I have been searching for the balance while clinging onto that shining version of myself. He shakes his head. Pedro Gonzales: I can't do that anymore. I have to commit. It's only then that he looks at himself and, by proxy, us. Pedro Gonzales: Truth is good can't destroy evil permanently. Nor can evil consume entirely. They need each other, like a dance. The hero needs a villain. Playfulness needs a serious parlor. Life is only worthwhile because death is so close. I have the skill to defeat anybody. I just need the savagery. He turns, facing the camera proper. Pedro Gonzales: You want everything I have with nothing held back and you will get it. That means getting all the sides. I am a technician, a flyer, a joker, a competitor. I have faith in my maneuvering and I cannot be afraid to deceive. I am still the master of pins, after all. And I will do all of this because I'm no longer content with surviving. I want to thrive. I want my people to thrive. If that means digging through the dirt and paying the price, that's something that needs to be done. It starts tonight. It starts with you and the Frontier Lions Cup. A grin. Pedro Gonzales: It's time for people to learn that just because you're bueno, doesn't mean you have to be nice. With a nod, he exits. • COMMERCIAL BREAK •

The arena lights dim as the instrumental version of Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street" begins to play. A few moments pass before Piper Lennon ambles out from behind the curtain, pausing at the top of the ramp to survey her surroundings. She zigs and zags, taking her time as she makes her way down the ramp, taking everything in but not paying the fans any particular mind. Kris Cruise I can't say this is a welcome sight for ... basically anyone. The newcomer Piper Lennon making her way out here, and if what we've learned about her so far is any indication, she isn't up to any good. Stephy Auger Speak for yourself, I for one enjoy seeing what our new talent have to offer! After circling halfway around the ring, she removes her jacket and camera, leaving them at the timekeeper's area. She stops in front of the announce desk, leaning back against it and staring up at the ceiling. Only then does she pick the pace up, lurching forward and sliding under the bottom rope into the ring, then popping up to her feet. She signals for a microphone, then drums her fingers against it as she paces back and forth. Kris Cruise What? You were livid at her for attacking AMIRA last show and said she was a horrible signing? Stephy Auger Yeah, but then she made it clear it wasn't anything personal against AMIRA, she just felt like doing something-- I can't hate on that hustle. I was mistaken thinking she was another of AMIRA's jealous enemies trying to bring her down. Kris Cruise She crushed someone's jaw for literally no reason, that's not better, that's psychotic. Stephy Auger Hush, she's trying to talk Debbie Downer, stop trying to steal the spotlight from the talent. Still pacing around, Lennon raises the mic to her lips. Piper Lennon: Hello Wichita, I am Piper Lennon, passenger on this cosmic train called life. The crowd doesn't seem to know what to make of that statement, although a few fans give a Pavlovian cheer to hearing the name of their home town. Piper Lennon: I hope you're all doing well, I sensed a little bit of hostility in my last stop, but that's all part of the journey. The good, bad, and the ugly I like to take it all in, to document my journey-- snapshot by snapshot. I've been doing that here in Kansas too, taking everything in. She stops to adjust her glasses. Piper Lennon: But life's not just about observing, it's also about being a participant. So I put a tweet out, if someone can please load up the video board -- Piper Lennon: -- which is what brings me out here. Kris Cruise She does know she doesn't run the show, right? Piper takes a corner, leaning back and looking out towards the entrance ramp. Piper Lennon: To let you all know that my debut -- She springs forward. Piper Lennon: -- won't be happening. That's my bad, I got a little ahead of myself there making promises, not realizing that there aren't any good fighters here in Kansas. That draws a loud round of boos. Piper Lennon: No please, you don't need to be mad at your local talent, it's not their fault they're kinda on the pudgy and unathletic with farmer's tans side of things. They're born the way they were, it was an honest mistake on my part, youthful inexperience-- nobody's to blame here. That's what life is all about, living and learning; and I learned this week how important it is for all of you here in this state to be able to watch people who do the things you're not capable of. She slides out of the ring as she continues her 'pep talk'. Piper Lennon: I can sense a lot of anger still, that whole living vicariously through your local athletes bit, and being ashamed of them when they're not good enough. But I really want to stress, you've been a lovely state and an important part of my journey in your own right. After retrieving her jacket and camera from the timekeeper's area, she approaches the barricade and a particularly angry fan whose plump face turned beet red as he gave the thumbs down and scowled at her. Piper Lennon: You might not have been able to provide me with someone who can run the ropes without getting winded, but you gave me like ... an appreciation for the heart of America, you know? Just a lot of cool memories; the other day I learned how to use a rototiller. And I just wanted to let you all know, this has been great and I'm always going to remember you. On that note, she tosses the mic down and snaps a polaroid of the angry fan before ambling off, giving a small wave and telling everyone to have a great night. Stephy Auger Wow, that was great, you don't see too many young wrestlers who are that down to Earth, who make that type of effort to connect to the people on a personal level. Kris Cruise Are you kidding me, all she did was waste a bunch of time belittling the fans. Stephy Auger All I heard were compliments and positive reinforcement, sounds like someone's bitter after all their years on the job and projecting a bit.

Jessie Pederson stands backstage with a wide grin on her face. Next to her is an apathetic-looking James Edwards, slightly slouched with his hands in his jean pockets. Behind them, backstage personnel scurries about like worker ants.
Jesse Pederson: Hey FGA fans, we're taking a break from the action to visit with the "Burning Heart," James Edwards!
The fans in the audience give Edwards a respectable level pop.
Jesse Pederson: James, how are you?
James furrows his brow and shrugs.
Jesse scrunches her eyebrows. Any good reporter will hate it when their subject-matter doesn't take the interview seriously.
Jesse Pederson: I'm surprised at your reaction considering all that's happened to you the last few shows?
Again James shrugs.
Jesse Pederson: You walked out during an important announcement by General Manager MacDonald. You publically questioned his handling of Kol's signing and the Pride Championship picture. On top of that, you advanced into the Frontier Lion's Cup without even throwing a punch...
James holds up his right hand to let her know that he wants to talk. Jesse looks annoyed by his aloof behavior but concedes in the name of professionalism.
James Edwards: I got handed my entry into the tournament. Saying that I advanced is an insult to competition and to Luke Jackson. He got screwed outta his chance to make an impact just because he tried to do the right thing.
Jesse Pederson: By the tone of your voice I sense you're not happy about what happened, but how come you didn't offer to give up your spot in the tournament?
Edwards bites his lip to buy himself a few moments to compose the correct answer in his mind.
James Edwards: I went to that bast--I went to GM MacDonald's office, and I asked him to give us a do-over. It was the fair and right thing to do. He told me no. He said that Luke and I had different things to worry about this week.
Jesse Pederson: Fujiko Mine?
Edwards' eyes show intense displeasure. He can't articulate a response and simply nods, "yes."
Jesse Pederson: You seem to have a problem with her.
Edwards rolls his eyes.
James Edwards: Hell no, and I still don't. When I went to GM MacDonald with my complaint, it was about the decision making on this brand. It had nothing to do with her until she made it that way by putting me on blast on frickin' social media. If she had a real issue with me, she could've talked to me about it; I'm a reasonable guy.
Jesse Pederson: To be fair she did tag in the post.
Edwards rolls his eyes again.
James Edwards: That's not how I do business. She did it in public because she knows that I'm right, she got a title shot handed to her. So she demands a match with me to gloss over that fact.
Jesse Pederson: But wouldn't settling it in the ring go with the standard you believe exists here in FGA?
Pederson's question leaves James speechless. He knows that she has a point there.
James Edwards: You're right, but at the end of the day the outcome won't change anything. Fujiko is still gonna get her title shot and I'm still gonna be in the Frontier Lion's Cup. We're being pitted against each other to distract from the real issue, and that is the GM levels the playing field only for his favorites.
Jesse Pederson: But wouldn't beating Fujiko be a big feather in your cap as far as your stock in the company goes?
James Edwards: Not really. I can beat her ten times in a row in random fights, and I'll be in the same place. What I need are accomplishments, belts and tournament wins. I do that then I get the power to turn heads in this place. The power to get some real change done in the way Vertigo is run. That's why my focus is staying on the Cup.
Jesse Pederson: James before I let you go, Kol had some words about you tonight, do you have any comments on them?
A fire lights in James' eyes but it isn't on Jesse's question. It pertains to the individual approach them...
...and that’s when Kol walks into the shot, looking down at his phone before he takes a few steps forward, bumping shoulders with Edwards. Kol finally looks up from his phone and stares at James with a smirk, having meant to do that.
Kol: My bad. Didn’t notice you there. Though I guess that description kinda fits you in general, doesn’t it?
Kol begins to chuckle as James takes a step forward before backstage personnel rush between the two men, wanting no brawl to happen here. Edwards seems rather disappointed that he isn’t able to get his hands on Kol while the HKW Global champion backs away, smiling.
Kol: Don’t worry, guys. I’m not going to waste my time beating up people who aren’t worth my time backstage.
This seems to anger James, who tries to take a step forward, only for the personnel to stop him, allowing Kol to walk off, unscathed, as the show cuts to somewhere else.

A commotion can be heard off in the distance as the cameraman frantically paces throughout the backstage area.
Various crashes, thumps and the shrieks of a woman can be heard.
The cameraman slows down as he comes across various debris on the ground.
Once he turns around the corridor, he stops. Directly in front of him stands Dom Harter, who throws down a lead pipe. Down on the ground is Elon Elysian, who is clutching his knee in agony. Effie Elysian tries to get at Harter and Bond. But she's being held back by The Crimson Baroness. Pacing back and forth in front of Harter is Chris Bond. Bond then charges over and repeatedly punt kicks him in the ribs. He then drops down to one knee, grabs Elon by the hair with his left hand and repeatedly punches the him in the face with his right hand. Bond then gets up, and cocks his head to the side with a smirk while he admires The New Murder' work. Harter then goes over and runs the back of his head across Effie's face. Effie immediately turns away as she's repulsed by the sight of Harter. Harter smirks at her. But his trademark smirk is wiped off his face when Effie spits in his direction. After motioning his head to the side, TCB takes her cue from The Tenacious Little Bastard and tosses her against the wall. Effie crumbles to the floor after her head bounces off the wall. The trio motions to walk away until Bond stops in his tracks. Harter and The Baroness turn towards The Hardened Veteran. Bond goes to pick up the lead pipe when backstage personnel rush up to The New Murder, causing the group to slowly put their hands up before backing away.
Backstage officials attend to both the injured Elon, as well as Effie...
The camera switch back to ringside to Kris Cruise, who shakes his head in disgust.
Kris Cruise: I thought we were going to get Dom Harter vs. Elon Elysian here tonight! But it looks like that match is officially off after Harter has taken out the other half of The Elysian Empire! Then they had to attack Effie Elysian to boot! What the hell is the matter with them!?
Stephy Auger: This shouldn’t come as a surprise to you. All empires eventually fall, Cruise. Haven't you learned anything from history?
Kris Cruise: The only thing I’ve learned is that every last member of The New Murder is a goddamn coward! Every last one of them!
Stephy Auger: Careful with your tone, Cruise. You might not want to say that too loudly. They might come after you next!

Frontier Lions Cup (Qualifying Round) Jackson Magnum vs. Pedro Gonzales The multicolored strobe lights follow the notes of Justice’s “Stress” before plunging the arena into darkness. It builds for a moment, letting the mood sink in before a spotlight catches Pedro Gonzales in the middle of the entranceway. As the fans cheer, he looks up and seems to smile as he begins to walk down to the ring. J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for ONE FALL and it is a Qualifying Match for the 2017 Frontier Lions Cup! Introducing first, from Mexico City, Mexico! Weighing in at 115 pounds! He is Mexico City’s Favorite Son… PEDROOOOO GOOOONZAAAAALESSSS!!! Light from the ramp emerges with the beat. He takes his time, giving a nod to distant admirers or slapping a fan’s hand. Upon reaching the ring, he walks on the steel steps with purpose. Pedro taks a moment to wipe his boots on the apron before sliding under the second rope. He spreads his arms as the arena lights come back fully and resigns himself to his corner, awaiting the toll of one bell or another. Kris Cruise: Mexico City’s Favorite Son returns to action with a new look, as well as a new outlook on the world of wrestling. Stephy Auger: In recent months, that little twirp has turned into a little savage on the microphone. But from the sound of things, it looks like Gonzales is flirting with the idea of becoming a savage inside the squared circle. I’m sure that could disappoint his adoring fans. But who really cares what they think, anyway? The arena turns green as a deep grey smoke filters through the entrance way. A bright yellow light flashes on the stage with a green superman signal in it only with a J instead of an S. As Jax walks out into the misty smoke he’s wearing a custom made suit with spectacles. Giving a smirk he looks out into the crowd. He then walks hops off the stage where a phone booth is waiting. “In a land where people have lost their way, there is one man who has found that through his own methods, this world can be better. His power, his ability, his mere prowess evokes fear into the hearts of them who would oppose him. His talent unbelievable, his accolades undeniable, he is thee Irish Superman.” Jax steps into the phone booth as a green curtain falls over it. Almost instantly a bright light flashes as the phone booth door explodes open. The sound of Sinead O’Connor and the Chieftains “Foggy Dew” begins to play from the PA system as Jax steps backwards out of the booth. The first thing to come into view is his black cape with a green J within the superman symbol. Turning around Jax shows off his new green and black ring gear, with matching green shades. J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from Dublin, Ireland! Weighing in at 215 pounds! He is The Irish Superman, JACKSON MAAAAAAGNUUUUMMMMMM!!! He jumps back onto the aisle way, turning his head he blows blows smoke that filters into the air. Letting out a primal scream before walking down the rampway and towards the ring. As he reaches the ring he leaps onto the apron in one motion. He then paces on the apron for a moment before whipping his feet off, and stepping into the ring. He spins in a circle as he reaches the center of the ring. Pulling his glasses off he hands them to the referee, then slowly unsnaps his cape. Folding it into a perfect formation leaving the J symbol exposed he instructs the referee to be careful with his stuff. Then he backs away into the corner waiting for the match to begin. Kris Cruise: The Irish Superman is making his highly-anticipated FGA in-ring debut here tonight. We’re less than 24 hours from him competing over in Caged Glory FC, where he scored the Knockout of the Night! Pedro’s gotta be careful. Jackson Magnum is lethal with his hands, as well as his feet. The bell sounds as Magnum and Gonzales circle the ring before motioning for a lock up. At the last second, Magnum ducks down and takes Gonzales to the mat with a double leg takedown. He then quickly tries to apply a Shaprshooter, but Gonzales is able to use his legs to shove Magnum off him and send him to the mat. After both grapplers return to their feet, Gonzales runs over to Magnum, leaps up and applies a standing Kimura with a bodyscissors. The crowd cheers as Gonzales tries to get Magnum to tap. The ref asks Magnum if he wants to give up. But the Irish Superman refuses. He then takes his free arm and slowly slips it between Gonzales’ legs before countering with a scoop slam. Once Gonzales gets back to his feet, Magnum applies a side headlock before performing a standing switch and transitioning into a hammerlock from behind. Gonzales then leans forward before quickly reversing into a hammerlock of his own. Magnum takes his free arm, reaches back, grabs Gonzales and throws him down in a front of him with a snapmare. He then goes for a jumping stomp to the face. But Gonzales is able to roll out of the way. After Gonzales gets back to his feet, he rushes over and throws out a bicycle knee strike. But Manum side steps, swats the knee out of his way and grabs Gonzales from behind with a waist lock. He lifts up Gonzales for a German Suplex. But Gonzales is able to reverse into a wheelbarrow victory roll. ONE! . . TWO! . . Magnum kicks out. After both grapplers return to their feet, Gonzales brings him back down with a small package. ONE! . . TWO! . . Magnum kicks out. Once both grapplers return to their feet, Gonzales quickly slaps on a side headlock before performing a standing switch and bringing Magnum down with a schoolboy rollup. ONE! . . TWO! . . Magnum kicks out. Kris Cruise: Yet another nearfall for Gonzales! Gonzales throws out another bicycle knee after he returns to his feet. This time, Magnum catches his leg. After swinging Gonzales’ leg away from him, he grabs Gonzales from behind and lifts him up for a belly to back suplex. But Gonzales rolls over his shoulder, lands on his feet, hops back onto his shoulders and brings him down with a victory roll. ONE! . . TWO! . . Magnum kicks out. Once Magnum is back to his feet, Gonzales takes him and whips him into the far ropes. When Magnum returns, he knocks Gonzales down with a front handspring clothesline. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Gonzales kicks out. Magnum picks up Gonzales and sends him across the ring with an irish whip. Instead of crashing into the turnbuckles, Gonzales hops up, turns and sits down on the top rope. After Magnum runs across the ring, Gonzales knocks him back with a front kick to the face before sending him to the mat with a diving headscissors. When Magnum gets back to his feet, Gonzales runs over and connects with a dropkick, knocking him through the ropes and to the floor. As Magnum begins to pick himself up on the outside, Gonzales turns and takes off into the far ropes. When he comes back, he knocks down Magnum with a no hands topé! Kris Cruise: Gonzales takes it to the air and takes out The Irish Superman! Gonzales picks up Manum and rolls him back inside before sliding back in to make the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Magnum kicks out. Gonzales picks up Magnum, moves him into the corner and gives him a trio of backhand chops to the chest. Magnum then takes Gonzales, tosses him into the corner, places him in a Muay Thai clinch and delivers a series of knees to the face. The last of which sends Gonzales slumping down in the corner. After reaching down and pulling Gonzales back up, he brings Gonzales out of the corner and whips him into the far ropes. When Gonzales returns, Magnum knocks him down with a flying forearm. Magnum returns to his feet with a kip up before heading across the ring and stepping out onto the apron. The irish Superman scales to the top turnbuckle and takes flight as he goes for a top rope elbow drop. But Magnum ends up crashing on the canvas when Gonzales rolls out of the way. Magnum clutches his arm while he’s down on the mat. He slowly begins to pick himself up off the canvas. But he’s still favoring the elbow. Gonzales sees this, so he quickly brings Magnum down with a rolling Cross Armbar. Kris Cruise: The Ecstasy of Gold! Gonzales tries to hyperextend the arm. But Magnum is quick to lock his hands together. Gonzales repeatedly tries to pull back on the arm. But Magnum’s got a death grip. After turning over to his side, Magnum begins to get back to his feet before hoisting Gonzales off the mat. The Irish Superman lifts Gonzales up before slamming him down on the mat, breaking the hold. While Gonzales is sprawled out on the mat, Magnum cringes while he holds his arm. He tries to shake off the pain as he gets back to a vertical base. Magnum reaches down, brings Gonzales back to his feet and whips him into the ropes. When Gonzales returns, Magnum throws him down with a belly to belly suplex. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Gonzales gets his shoulder up. Magnum picks up Gonzales and nails him with a headbutt. He then positions himself behind Gonzales for a German Suplex. But Gonzales reaches down, pries Magnum’s arms from around him and reverses into an arm wrench, followed by a hook kick that knocks Magnum back into the ropes. He then heads over, takes Magnum by the arm and goes for an irish whip. But Magnum reverses, sending him into the far ropes. When Gonzales returns, he slides between Magnum’s legs. When Magnum turns around, he gets rocked with an uppercut to the jaw, followed by an elbow to the face. Gonzales follows up with a roundhouse kick to the arm before taking Magnum off his feet with a legsweep. He then delivers a standing Shooting Star Press for good measure before hooking the leg for the cover… ONE! . . TWO! . . Magnum gets his good shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Great combo there from Gonzales! But it’s not enough to put Magnum away! Gonzales slowly picks Magnum off off the mat before quickly going behind him and setting up for a German Suplex. Gonzales tries to lift him up for the suplex. But Magnum blocks the move. He then goes for another German Suplex attempt. But again, Magnum blocks the move. Gonzales then lets go and nails Magnum with a hard clubbing strike across the back of the neck before spinning him towards him and planting him with a Devil Spike DDT. After Magnum rolls to the outside, Gonzales gets to his feet and starts waving his arm up and down to get the crowd hyped up. Once he sees Magnum starting to pick himself up on the floor, Gonzales takes off into the far ropes. When he returns, Mexico City’s Favorite Son knocks him down with a cartwheel plancha! The cheers continue as Gonzales picks up Magnum and rolls him back inside. He then climbs up onto the apron and follows up with a senton atomico. Gonzales turns over and applies a kimura. But Magnum is right next to the ropes. So he easily reaches his leg back and puts it under the bottom rope to initiate a rope break. Ref: ONE… TWO… Gonzales breaks the hold. Gonzales brings Magnum back to his feet and whips him into the far ropes. Instead of coming back, Magnum hangs onto the ropes. So Gonzales runs over to attack. But he ends up getting knocked back by a back elbow. While Gonzales tries to shake off the blow, Magnum hops onto the apron through the ropes before knocking Gonzales down with a springboard spinning forearm. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Gonzales gets his shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Close call there for Gonzales! Magnum goes for an irish whip, but Gonzales reverses. When Magnum returns, Gonzales sets up for a back body drop. But Magnum counters with a DDT. He then brings Gonzales back to his feet and doubles him over with three front knee strikes to the midsection. Magnum steps off to the side and stands Gonzales upright with a knee lift before knocking him down with a superkick. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Gonzales gets his shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Another close call for Gonzales! Magnum is starting to pull away with this match, Stephy... Magnum picks up Gonzales before turning to run into the ropes. When he returns, he throws out a yakuza kick. But Gonzales is able to counter with capture suplex. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Magnum gets his shoulder up. Kris Cruise: Great counter from Gonzales! He just got himself back into this match with that suplex! Gonzales picks up Magnum and goes for another German Suplex. But again, Magnum blocks the move. After delivering three elbows to the face, Magnum performs a standing switch before spiking Gonzales with a reverse frankensteiner. Magnum applies a front facelock before bringing Gonzales back to his feet. He delivers the Godfall (vertical suplex lift dropped into a front knee to the face). The cheers continue while Magnum pulls Gonzales up before sending him into the far ropes with an irish whip. When Gonzales returns, Magnum turns him inside out with The Blue Blur (Sick Kick). The Irish Superman slowly pulls up Gonzales from behind, hooks him and delivers the Red Sox (sheerdrop Murderplex). ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd cheers when “Foggy Dew” hits the speakers. J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner, JACKSON MAGNUM! The cheers continue while Magnum gets his arm raised in victory. Kris Cruise: Jackson Magnum gets his first FGA win as he advances in the Frontier Lions Cup. For Pedro Gonzales, it’s back to the drawing board. • COMMERCIAL BREAK •
