We see Stephen Burke with a live microphone standing right at the entrance to the hall from the ring area. He's looking forward, waiting for someone, when he spots Julian Tijerina walking towards him, to the hall, fresh from his actions in the ring during his tag team match with Brian Stryker against Bristow & Barnes. Julian has his head bowed, not looking at anyone, anything, but his own two feet. Burke takes the opportunity, finding Julian alone on his way, and sticks the microphone in his face.

Stephen Burke: Julian, could you tell us what just happened?

Nothing. Julian says nothing, continuing to walk. Burke is not fazed.

Stephen Burke: Why did you do what you did?

Still nothing. Still Burke presses on.

Stephen Burke: How could you leave your tag team partner laying like that? What was going through your mind when you attacked Brian Stryker after the match? Are you proud of yourself?

Julian looks forward, still ignoring Burke. He pushes the microphone away from his face, back to Burke, and walks away without a single word. Burke is left confused and at the same time heartbroken. His self-proclaimed best friend and hero just broke his heart tonight.

[Brian Stryker]

Backstage Brian Stryker sits on a crate as he rubs his face. Tonight was probably the worst night in his FGA career so far. After being left out to dry by his supposed friend Julian Tijerina and left to be defeated in their tag match, Julian kicked him across the jaw afterwards. He was left with so many questions.



SPENCER BURKE: Brian? Any idea on why Julian did what he did out there tonight? Abandoning you during the tag match and attacking you after?



Brian runs both his hand across his hair pushing it back as he sighs heavily.



BRIAN STRYKER: I don’t know Spencer.



SPENCER BURKE: Do you think this has to do with the ending of the ladder match at All-Star Showdown?



BRIAN STRYKER: I don’t know



The frustration is building in Stryker’s voice.



SPENCER BURKE: What does this mean for you?



BRIAN STRYKER: I DON’T KNOW SPENCER! I DON’T KNOW WHY JULIAN DECIDED TO HOP OFF THAT APRON WHEN I WENT TO TAG HIM. I DON’T KNOW WHY ONE OF THE FEW MEN IN THIS BUSINESS I CONSIDERED A FRIEND ABADONED ME. I DON’T KNOW WHY HE KICKED ME ACROSS THE FACE! I DON’T KNOW!



Brian slams his hand against the crate as he stands up and glares at Spencer.



BRIAN STRYKER: But I’m going to find out.



He bumps his shoulder against Spencer as he walks off, Spencer left wondering.
