EARLIER TODAY Walking through the doors of the Liacouras Center with their bags in tow, the two members of Smart Style cut decidedly different figures: on the one hand Shintaro Majima remains stone-faced as he walks into the arena, his eyes occasionally scanning one way or the other as he passes some of the backstage workers shuttling back and forth, while on the other hand there's a certain swagger in Mark Bisley's step as he struts into the building as if he owns the place, and if that didn't make it clear enough... Mark Bisley: Guess who's back? Back again? Bisley's back! Tell r/wrasslin. Having got that out of his system, Bisley comes to a halt in the corridor as his checks the names on the locker room doors, and it doesn't take long before his brow furrows as he spots that something is amiss - at which point he waits for the nearest backstage worker to head in his direction, and once they're in range he deftly places an arm around their shoulder to grab their attention, using his hand to place the tiniest bit of pressure on their shoulder when they try to manoeuvre out of Bisley's grasp to give them the polite hint that maybe they should drop everything and focus their attention on Bisley's impending request Mark Bisley: I was wondering if you could be of some assistance, because I can’t help but notice there’s an issue with how the locker rooms have been allocated for the wrestlers appearing on tonight’s show. With a resigned sigh as they know there’s no way to wiggle out of this and get back to doing what they’re doing, the stagehand responds…with all the enthusiasm of somebody who has been asked to give someone’s Humvee a push-start Stagehand: What’s the issue? Mark Bisley: This issue, my good friend, is that I can see locker rooms allocated for Serpent’s Touch, Shootcamp, Blonde Ambition, Invictus Fight Club et cetera et cetera, yet for some inexplicable reason I cannot see a locker room that has been allocated to us. Could you tell me if this is an oversight by one of your colleagues who neglected their duties, or is this a reason for us to be concerned? For a moment the stagehand has to mentally go over everything Bisley has said, to the point his lips start moving as he repeats the key points to himself, before he answers… Stagehand: Sorry, I got no idea. Rolling his eyes in response, Bisley drums his fingers upon the stagehand’s shoulder as he looks in Majima’s direction for some input – which he soon receives Shintaro Majima: Are you saying that somebody forgot that we would be here? Majima’s eyes narrow ever so slightly as he looks directly at the stagehand, and as the stagehand tries to avert his eyes he’s met by Bisley giving him a patronising look Mark Bisley: Well I am sure that you’ll be happy to explain that the problem has been fixed. Having been released from Bisley’s grasp and given the tiniest of shoves to the back to help him on his way, the stagehand walks away unsure of what the hell just happened Once the stagehand has been dispatched, Bisley walks along the corridor and checks the various doors until he arbitrarily tears a couple of pieces of masking tape with a pair of names scribbled on them in Sharpie off the door, scrunches the tape into a ball, then places it in his pocket so nobody will find it, an action which causes Majima to cock his head to one side in disapproval Mark Bisley: What? It’s not as if they’re in our half of the bracket, and besides they don’t even have a real tag team name, so if they aren’t going to take this tournament seriously why should we take them seriously? Unconvinced by his partner’s argument, but at the same time feeling slighted that they had been deemed unworthy of having their own locker room allocated in spite of various other teams being given that courtesy, Majima goes along with Bisley’s plan to hijack a locker room and follows him inside As they get settled into “their” locker room Bisley carefully places his bag on a nearby bench and takes great care that it is perfectly lined up so not a millimetre is hanging precariously over the edge, while Majima slides his bag under a different bench and sits down so he can work a kink out of his neck while Bisley grabs a couple of the complimentary bottles of water from a cooler and passes on to Majima Mark Bisley: So it would appear that somebody believes we’re here to give Serpent’s Touch a run for their money before inevitably falling to their superior skills, hence the insult of being treated as a pair of second-class citizens. Clicking his tongue at the thought, Bisley slowly shakes his head Mark Bisley: Such arrogance, believing that a team are destined to progress just because they happened to be a part of this roster before the brackets were drawn up. It’s hardly “dynamic” to automatically assume teams you have under contract are superior to those who are not, in fact it would be tedious. And as we have not signed up for the Passive Pairing Tournament, I believe it is our duty to show up Serpent’s Touch this evening just so those in charge pay a little bit more attention. Having waited a moment to make sure his partner has actually finished speaking, Majima lifts his head and looks across the locker room toward his partner Shintaro Majima: What is it that you have in mind? Savouring the moment, Bisley places the knuckle of his index finger under his lower lip as he thinks about his answer – or maybe he knows exactly what he’s going to say, it’s just he likes the sound of what’s in his head so much he’s preparing himself for the release of something wonderful… Mark Bisley: I like to think that, at the last show, the audience believed that they sampled everything that we bring to the proverbial table and think they know everything there is to know about us, and I say that we prove that they know nothing at all. Pausing for a moment, Bisley gives Majima a look that strongly implies that he doesn’t think the audience know that much anyway, but he doesn’t verbalize it Mark Bisley: Let me put it another way: an amuse-bouche is just that. It’s the merest taste, a palate cleanser, because if you had a burrito for lunch and are having steak for dinner you need don’t want your sirloin tainted by the nasty, nasty aftertaste of processed meat and cheese. Jones and O’Brien were the lunchtime burrito, our victory over them was the palate cleanser, and now we allow the audience to enjoy just how good we are in the ring by taking a scalp from one of their favorites to let them know just how little they understand, but I can guarantee they will not have a problem with that as they will enjoy watching us dismantle Serpent’s Touch and will be cheering us by the time we have defeated them as they will come to understand that we are the heroes this tournament needs as we are the only thing that stands between them and tedious predictability. Having finished orating, Bisley looks over to Majima for approval, possible even imagining a round of applause in his head, and is met by…nothing more than a silent nod of acceptance from Majima, leading to a moment of silence in the locker room as Bisley was obviously expecting a little bit more from Majima Mark Bisley: Of course, we should also take into account the fact they tweeted just how much they were looking forward to meeting us in the ring, which means that at least somebody was paying attention to our last match… Shintaro Majima: If they had paid attention to our last match they would not be so keen to face us, they should be worried that they are going to lose to an outsider and face the humiliation that comes with it. Upon hearing this Bisley baulks at his partner's suggestion that they almost literally tar and feather their opponents in the ring Mark Bisley: Don’t you think that’s a little harsh, ShiMa? I mean “humiliation”? I’m all for beating them, but do we really have to be jerks about it? With a shake of the head Majima lets his partner know that he shouldn’t have taken him quite so literally – which is ironic, given how Majima is usually the one to be literal almost to a fault when he speaks Shintaro Majima: I do not mean we demean them, I mean we should leave them to face the humiliation of having to face their peers knowing full well that they had failed to defend the honor of their company against a team who do not belong here. Gesturing towards the locker room door, Majima emphasizes the point Shintaro Majima: A suggestion that the company appear to agree with, as they do not offer us the courtesy that they offer others. Finally understanding his partner's’ point, Bisley nods in appreciation as he unscrews the cap of his water bottle Mark Bisley: Well then, with that in mind… Having removed the cap from his bottle, Bisley offers a toast to his partner Mark Bisley: To humiliation.

"Perfect Insanity" by Disturbed plays as a video package is shown of various FGA grapplers making their way through various entranceways. The video then switches to various FGA grapplers getting kicked, punched, slammed, suplexed and dropped onto the mat.... Come inside and be afraid Of this impressive mess I've made If you take a look now you will find I have thrown away my vice Done away with paradise See what's going on inside my mind Please let me out Please let me out Please let me... After dramatic slow motion shots of various grapplers flipping off the top turnbuckle, the video switches to the Flashpoint logo as the chorus kicks in. The video fades to an outside shot of Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We then transition inside to a wide shot of the arena. The camera then pans around, capturing the excited crowd. An FGA chant breaks out throughout several sections of the crowd... DYNAMIC DUOS TOURNAMENT - SECOND ROUND Serpent’s Touch vs. Smart Style The arena lights slowly dim as the doom-laden synths of “Another Chance” blast out across the arena, and as they dim blue lights fill the entranceway, growing in brightness as the music gets more intense, and as the main hook grows the pairing of Mark Bisley emerge at the top of the ramp, Bisley with an arm raised as he surveys all before him while Majima wears a stony expression As they walk down the ramp, Bisley stops and holds his arms apart and tilts his head back to tell the entire arena he is here, while Majima stands directly behind him with his arms held aloft as he looks directly towards the ring, with the pair almost resembling the Vitruvian Man as they do this Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Second Round match in the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament! Introducing first, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 443 pounds! They are the team of Mark Bisley and Shintaro Majima… SMART STYLE!!! Making their way to ringside, Bisley lifts himself onto the apron and adopts a kneeling position, pointing to the side of his head a couple of times, while Majima stands beside him and removes his sunglasses, looking out into the crowd. A moment later, Majima steps into the ring while Bisley rolls under the ropes before getting back to a knee in the ring, running his hand on the canvas to say this is my ring while Majima stands behind him rubbing the back of each hand in his palms. Geoff Penzer: Smart Style was victorious two weeks ago over the team of Davey Boy O’Brien and Baz Jones. But they’re facing a jump in competition this week against Serpent’s Touch. The team of Mark Bisley and Shintaro Majima are going to look to outsmart and outwrestle their opponents. But against Kimiko and Faye Valentine? That might be easier said than done. The lights go out. A lone purple spotlight reveals the silhouettes of Faye Valentine and Kimiko through the smoke covering the stage. Kimiko has her head bowed, wearing a kendo stick on her back and her trademark oni bandana around the bottom half of her face. "Heart Killer" by Gossling begins to play, and The Divine Valentine sings her team's theme as the smoke slowly dissipates around them. Kimiko looks up, and with Faye Valentine right behind her, begins to walk down the ramp to the ring as the lone purple spotlight breaks into several purple spotlights, drowning the arena in a sea of royal blood. I am known as a killer A heart killer I'll have it, so you don't know I'm nothing but a mean foe
Kimiko's full attention is to the ring as Faye Valentine continues singing their theme, both making their respective ways down the ramp and towards the ring. While Kimiko does not turn to look at the fans, not to anyone, ignore everyone and everything in favor of her full concentration on the task at hand, Faye Valentine dances seductively and flirts with the fans at ringside, clearly enjoying the attention she's getting, and she's getting everyone's attention. Faye Valentine graces a fan at ringside with an intimate touch, sliding the tip of her two fingers across his cheek, as her voice helps him reach ecstasy, but she breaks off mere moments before he reaches nirvana. Faye Valentine smirks at him, leaving him, and the rest of the crowd, always wanting more. Melanie Sierra: And their opponents, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 258 pounds! They are the team of Faye Valentine and Kimiko… SERPENT’S TOUCH!!! I'm gonna be your partner Your love partner You're gonna take it real slow I'll make sure that you let go Kimiko grabs the middle rope from the floor and hoists herself up the apron. She gets in the ring without any theatrics. Faye Valentine, on the other hand, walks up the steel steps and lingers on the apron, facing the crowd. She dances for a bit before she spins around and inside the ring, straddling the ropes through which she entered the ring, as she continues singing. The crowd dances to their song, latching on to every word that slithers out of her lips. Meanwhile, Kimiko takes to the middle of the ring, bows to each side of the squared circle, and gets down on the mat as she takes the kendo stick from her back. She places the kendo stick right in front of her on the mat and bows to it three times. Finally, as Faye Valentine ends her performance, she whips her hair back and comes back down to the mat, grinning playfully at everyone, including the referee and their opponent. Kimiko gets up, walks to one side of the ring, and once again sits down with her back against the corner ring post, waiting. Faye surrenders her microphone to a stagehand and warms up before the match, another performance, begins. Geoff Penzer: Serpent’s Touch are one of the lucky teams that got a BYE in the First Round. Thankfully for Smart Style, it doesn’t appear that they suffered too much damage. But you’d have to think that Serpent’s Touch are still the fresher team regardless. Could that be the key between a win and a loss here tonight? It very well could be. The Second Round of the 2017 Dynamic Duos Tournament starts right now! The bell sounds as Shintaro Majima and Kimiko circle the ring. Instead of locking up, Kimiko connects with a shoot kick to the leg. Majima responds with a shoot kick of his own to the leg. Kimiko throws out another shoot kick to the leg. Majima answers back with another shoot kick of his own to the leg. Kimiko then side steps before connecting with a shoot kick to the chest. Majima then steps off to the side before connecting with a shoot kick of his own to the chest. The kick knocks Kimiko back a few steps. Geoff Penzer: After that exchange of strikes, it looks like the Strong Style Savior has gained control. Majima walks over and nails Kimiko with another shoot kick to the chest. This time, Kimiko is knocked back into the ropes. From there, Majima delivers an alternating series of knees to the midsection and forearms to the face. The Strong Style Savior takes Kimiko and whips her into the far ropes. When Kimiko returns, Majima knocks her down with a running forearm smash. He then drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kimiko kicks out. Majima picks up Kimiko, moves her into the corner and delivers a knife edge chop. Kimiko returns the favor with a chop of her own. Majima then connects with another chop. Kimiko answers back with a chop of her own. Majima the connects with another knife edge chop before following up with a Mongolian chop. Kimiko then grabs Majima, moves him into the corner and delivers repeated chops. The Strong Style Savior then grabs Kimiko, tosses her into the corner and unleashes machinegun chops. Majima eventually slows down… before picking up speed again with the machine gun chops. He then takes Kimiko and whips her into the opposite corner. Majima runs across the ring to attack, but he gets met with a back elbow to the face. Kimiko then runs from out of the corner and knocks him down with a single leg dropkick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Majima kicks out. Kimiko picks up Majima, wrenches his arm, drags him into the Serpent’s Touch corner and tags Faye Valentine in. Valentine steps in through the ropes and nails Majima with a kick to the ribs. She then takes him by the arm and wrenches it before transitioning into a standing armbar. The ref asks Majima if he wants to give up. But he refuses. The Strong Style Savior then uses his free arm to move Valentine into the ropes, initiating a rope break. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… As soon as Valentine lets go, Majima nails her with a shoulder thrust to the midsection. He then takes Valentine and goes for an irish whip. But she reverses, sending Majima into the far ropes. When Majima returns, Valentine quickly hops onto the apron through the ropes and knocks Majima down with a slingshot shoulder block. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Majima kicks out. Valentine picks up Majima, moves him into the corner and gives him four kicks to the midsection before following up with a corner springboard side kick. She then brings Majima from out of the corner before sending him into the far ropes. When Majima returns, Valentine knocks him down with the Heatseeker I (running front dropkick). After returning to her feet, Valentine runs into another set of ropes. When she returns, she goes for a running senton. But she ends up landing across Majima’s knees. Geoff Penzer: Majima blocked the senton by getting his knees up! Majima gets back to his feet, picks up Valentine and whips her into the ropes. When Valentine returns, Majima lifts her up and throws her down with a Uranage. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Valentine avoids the three count. But her back has to be bothering her after that Uranage. Majima picks up Valentine, drags her over towards the Smart Style corner and tags Mark Bisley in. The crowd boos as Bisley gets in, takes control of the arm and wrenches it several times. The ref asks Valentine if she wants to give up. But she refuses. She then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of her own. But Bisley is quickly to reverse into a hammerlock from behind. He then spins Valentine towards him before catching her in a side headlock. After three shots to the midsection, Valentine shoves Bisley into the ropes. When he returns, he knocks Valentine over with a running shoulder block. He drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder up. Bisley picks up Valentine and whips her into the ropes. When Valentine returns, Bisley doubles her over with a rolling solebutt to the midsection. He then places Valentine in a cravat and delivers repeated knees to the head. The last knee drops Valentine down to one knee. While Valentine is still down, Bisley runs into the ropes. When he returns, Valentine rises to her feet and cuts him off with a European Uppercut. After taking Bisley and whipping him into the corner, Valentine runs across the ring and connects with a flying forearm smash. She then takes Bisley and tosses him through the ropes. After he lands on the apron, Valentine drags him through the ropes before running into the far ropes. When Valentine returns, she connects with a running knee lift, knocking Valentine off the apron and to the floor. Geoff Penzer: That hard knee from Valentine just sent Bisley tumbling to the floor! While Bisley tries to pick himself up on the outside, Valentine steps out onto the apron and waves him up. Geoff Penzer: What could she be setting up for here? When Bisley turns around, Valentine goes for a running soccer kick off the apron. But Bisley ducks. When Valentine turns around, Bisley stands up and takes a hard swipe at her legs, sending her face-first onto the apron. Geoff Penzer: Valentine just took a hard fall face-first onto the apron! Bisley rolls back inside before readying himself for his next attack. While Valentine pulls herself up on the apron using the ropes, Bisley runs into the corner before connecting with an Ace Kick (triangle enzuigiri), knocking Valentine down to one knee. He then grabs a hold of the top rope with both hands before planting Valentine with a slingshot DDT on the apron. Geoff Penzer: Did you hear that impact! Valentine was just driven head-first onto the apron with a slingshot DDT! She might be out of it! Bisley picks up Valentine off the floor and rolls her back inside. He then slides back in, drags Valentine away from the ropes and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kimiko drags Bisley off of Valentine. Kimiko picks up Bisley, moves him into the corner and follows up with repeated shoot kicks to the chest. After backing up towards the center of the ring, Kimiko runs back into the corner to attack. But Bisley ducks and dumps her over the top rope. After Kimiko lands safely on the apron, Bisley goes for another Ace Kick. But this time, Kimiko ducks. She then hops back into the ring through the ropes and brings Bisley down with a flying cross armbar! Geoff Penzer: Kimiko’s got the armbar on! But she doesn’t have it fully locked in! Bisley is quick to lock his hands together to prevent Kimiko from hyperextending the arm. As Kimiko continues to fight for control of the arm, Majima marches over and breaks it up with a stomp to the face. Majima then picks up Kimiko, run and tosses her through the ropes and to the floor. Back inside, Bisley takes Valentine, runs and tosses her through the ropes as well. As Kimiko and Valentine try to pick each other up on the outside, Smart Style turn and run into the far ropes. When they come back, Majima leaps through the ropes and knocks Kimiko down with an elbow suicida while Bisley knocks down Valentine with a suicide dive. Geoff Penzer: Smart Style connect with tandem dives to the outside! Serpent’s Touch have lost all control of this match and could very well be moments away from a defeat! Bisley picks up Valentine and rolls her back inside. He then slides back in and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! Valentine gets her shoulder up. After Majima heads back around ringside and hops onto the apron, Bisley goes over and tags him back in. Smart Style then pick up Valentine and whip her into the ropes. When she returns, they throw her down with a double japanese arm drag. Majima makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder up. Majima heads back over and tags Bisley back in. Smart Style takes Valentine by the arm and whip her into the corner. Bisley then runs into the corner and connects with a running elbow smash. He then whips Valentine over towards Majima, who knocks her down with a two handed chop. Bisley rushes over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulders up. Bisley heads back over and tags Majima back in. After a snapmare takeover, Bisley runs into the ropes, comes back and connects with a soccer kick to the back. While Valentine arches her back, Majima runs over and flattens her across the mat with a running soccer kick to the chest. He drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Valentine gets her shoulder up. Majima heads over and tags Bisley back in. Majima heads back over, picks up Valentine and delivers a bridging German Suplex before Bisley runs into the ropes. When he returns, he connects with a baseball slide to the face. He then makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TH-NO! Valentine gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Smart Style have kept control of this contest with quick tags and tandem offense. They’re really working on all cylinders. Serpent’s Touch need to do something, anything, to break this up. Bisley moves Valentine into the corner and delivers repeated shoot kicks to the check. However, Valentine is able to catch the last kick. She then quickly drags Bisley away from the corner before bringing him down with a dragon screw leg whip. Geoff Penzer: That may have been the very opening they needed right there! When Bisley tries to get up, Valentine runs over and connects with a running knee lift, knocking him through the ropes and to the floor. Geoff Penzer: Bisley’s been sent back to the outside after another high knee! As Bisley pulls himself up using the edge of the apron, Valentine turns and runs into the ropes. When she comes back, Majima gets in and tries to cut her off with the Kurimuzon Kasai (lariat). But Valentine ducks before hurling herself over the top rope and flattening Bisley with a suicide somersault plancha. Geoff Penzer: What a move by Faye Valentine! Majima tried to cut her off mid stride. But Valentine was aware enough to duck the lariat and follow up with a huge dive to the floor! And here comes Kimiko from behind! Back inside, Kimiko knocks Majima down with a running front dropkick to the back of the head. As Majima tries to get up on all fours, Kimiko steps out onto the corner, scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and flattens him with a diving double foot stomp to the back. She then stomps Majima out of the ring while Valentine rolls Bisley back inside. Valentine then rolls herself back in and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Bisley gets his shoulder up. Valentine heads over and tags Kimiko back in. After Serpent’s Touch drag Bisley into position, Valentine holds his legs down while Kimiko heads out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. She then jumps off before delivering another diving double foot stomp. Valentine heads to the outside as Kimiko makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Bisley gets his shoulder up. Kimiko brings Bisley up onto his knees before delivering several shoot kicks to the chest. She then steps back before knocking him down with a corkscrew roundhouse kick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Bisley gets his shoulder up. Kimiko picks up Bisley, applies a front facelock and plants him with a running Tornado DDT. While Bisley is sprawled out on the mat, Kimiko steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. She flips off and goes for a Shooting Star Press. But she ends up crashing across Bisley’s knees. Geoff Penzer: Bisley got his knees uP! But Bisley looks to be just as hurt! While Kimiko curls up and guards her midsection, Bisley can be seen clutching the knee that Valentine delivered the dragon screw to. Once he sees Majima pulling himself back up onto the apron, he begins to scoot himself backwards towards the corner. But he’s quickly dragged back towards the center of the ring by Valentine. While Valentine has a hold of the leg with the bad knee, Bisley uses his free leg to repeatedly kick her in the face. The last kick knocks Valentine down to the canvas. After turning over onto his knees, Bisley rolls forward and then goes to dive over to make the tag. But he gets blindsided by a single leg dropkick from Kimiko. After dragging Bisley back towards the center of the ring, Kimiko turns him over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Bisley gets his shoulder up. Kimiko picks up Bisley before bringing him down with another flying cross armbar. But once again, Bisley locks his hands. He then turns over and gets up on his knees. After getting up on one foot, then the other, Bisley groans as he slowly pulls Kimiko up from off the canvas. He then heads over towards the Smart Style corner before slamming Kimiko into the turnbuckles. Bisley then tags Majima back in. Geoff Penzer: Here comes The Strong Style Savior... After Bisley slips through the ropes, Majima get back in and pummels Kimiko down in the corner with repeated Mongolian chops. Majima backs up towards the center of the ring before charging into the corner and connecting with the Noshinto (running knee strike to cornered opponent). Majima drags Kimiko from out of the corner and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Kimiko gets the shoulder up. Majima picks up Kimiko and goes for an irish whip. But Kimiko reverses, sending him into the ropes. When Majima returns, he throws out the Kurimuzon Kasai. But Kimiko ducks, goes around his back and sets up for a German Suplex. Majima is quick to block the move with three elbows to the face. After performing a standing which, Majima hooks Kimiko from behind and throws her down wit the GOJU50 (half and half suplex). After Kimiko slowly picks herself up off the mat, Majima runs over and turns her inside out with the Kurimuzon Kasai. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd boos when “Another Chance” hits the speakers. Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners, SMART STYLE! The boos continue as Smart Style get their arm raised in victory. Geoff Penzer: Smart Style pick up yet another win as they defeat the team of Serpent’s Touch! We’ve kicked off tonight’s show with a solid outing from both teams here in the opener. We’ve got seven more Second Round matches to go. Who will advance to the Quarterfinals? Who is going home? We’ll find out here tonight! ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

The show cuts backstage to where The Crimson Baroness is walking the halls of the Liacouras Center with a smirk on her face, and her trusted baseball bat in hand, albeit resting on one shoulder. She’s ready dressed in her ring attire ahead of her upcoming tag match against Chainsaw & Rowe - her first match back in FGA since her victory over Dom Harter earlier this year - when she’s approached by Amanda Johnson.
Amanda Johnson: Baroness! So, how does it feel to be back in FGA after all this time away?
The Crimson Baroness: Fantastic, sweetie. And I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better location than this either…
Amanda Johnson: I take it you’re an Owls fan then?
There’s a brief pause as TCB glances out of the corner of her eyes at Amanda Johnson, before she giggles and shakes her head.
The Crimson Baroness: No, sweetie … just no. But tonight feels like kismet; one of the modern day’s greatest tag team wrestlers, someone who’s travelled the globe, been a tag team champion on three continents … returning to the city of her birth for one chance to compete in the most prestigious tag team tournament around.
The smug smirk grows wider as The Baroness glances around the halls; the people are all milling around just off camera, but she’s not bothered by them. Her attention remains focused on Amanda.
The Crimson Baroness: To the ring where I’ve defeated the likes of Dom Harter; where I helped screw Salem Cartier out of her Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship last year; where I’ll take the hand that I’ve been dealt, and prove that I can make chicken salad out of chicken sh#t…
Amanda looks somewhat shocked, unsure of what TCB may be implying with that statement.
Amanda Johnson: I’m, uh, I’m assuming that’s not a reference to your tag team partner tonight…
Jensen Banks: It better not be.
Jensen proclaims as he walks onto the scene, standing opposite his partner for the evening and on the opposite side of Amanda. TCB just smirks again though.
The Crimson Baroness: It’s just an expression, sweetie. We all know you take your asskickings like a man. Have done since LDFC, like you did on Tuesday night--
Jensen Banks: Yeah, yeah…
He waves his hand to cut The Baroness off. She rolls her eyes as he continues speaking.
Jensen Banks: Don’t worry about any of that, Katie. For now we’ve gotta focus on tonight, and getting through this match against Chainsaw & Rowe.
The Crimson Baroness: Getting past Chainsaw & Rowe, sweetie…
Pause.
Jensen Banks: So that’s what we’re gonna do, and everything else can come later.
Banks storms off, presumably heading towards ringside for their upcoming bout as TCB turns to Amanda Johnson one last time.
The Crimson Baroness: That got him fired up…
She walks away after her partner for the evening, carrying her bat in hand as the show cuts back to ringside.

Backstage, James Edwards casually saunters down the hallway in his street clothes. He is not in the building to compete but is here to see the continuation of the DDT just like the fans in the stands. The Burning Heart is in an uncharacteristic good mood. He is not whistling or skipping, but he has a satisfied smirk on his face, one that turns sour in a matter of moments.
Nate Bristow stands in his way.
James Edwards: I don’t want any trouble, man, just let me through.
Bristow stands firm. Edwards tries to move to his right and finds Tully Barnes occupying the previously open space.
James Edwards: Y’all don’t listen well, do you? I don’t want any damn trouble. Just let me through.
The pair stands silent as stones. Edwards shakes his head and chuckles in a way that suggests the pair are trying his patience.
James Edwards: Aight, if this is how it is gonna be…
And from the rear comes the sound of clapping.
Voice: What are you gonna do? Run like the little bitch you are?
Edwards turns to find Ricky Valero standing behind him with a sheepish grin on his face and a confident swagger in his presence. Like Edwards, Valero is in the building to watch the DDT tournament, and most importantly, his good friend Melody Lennox compete alongside her partner Daph the Destroyer.
Ricky Valero: It seems we meet again, dear old pal.
Edwards bites his lip; he knows that being a smartass is not going to help him here. The thing is, he is not sure what will.
James Edwards: I was telling your fan club that I just wanna get through. I ain’t got time to mess with y’all.
Ricky Valero: Well you better make time, junior.
Valero chuckles as he steps closer to Edwards. He stares his two henchmen down standing opposite him, doing his best to keep the reins tight on the fiery pair.
Ricky Valero: You’re standing in the presence of God, and yet you have no respect? You’re lucky to share the same building as me much less the same air. I could wrestle circles around you, kid. I’ve done everything there is to do in this sport. Things you could never dream of doing; I’ve already done them. Championship wins on nearly every continent and a star-studded career that has spanned almost two decades now. I am everything you will never be. How does that feel? How does it feel to know that you’re just here to be a punching bag? How does it feel to know that no matter how hard you try, you will be nothing more than the scum on the bottom of my boots?
The sheer absurdity of the situation dawns on Edwards. Again, this time he bites his lip to keep from laughing. He shakes his head and smiles at Valero with his shoulders shrugged.
James Edwards: You got me, Ricky. I can’t measure to your longevity or accomplishments.
Valero doesn’t believe any of this for a moment. He can detect the sarcasm in James' voice. Edwards drops the grin from his face and steps a little closer to Ricky.
James Edwards: Here is the thing man, I honestly do respect all that. You’ve had a career worth admiring and you are a helluva fighter, but you ain’t God. The fact is I don’t believe in gods or self-appointed legends. I don’t owe you or anybody else respect. I earned my way here by busting my ass just like everyone else. I got here despite entitled people like you telling I’m not gonna amount to anything, and I’ve made a career out of proving them wrong.
Edwards moves close enough that Valero should be able to smell the brand of gum James is chewing---well if he was actually chewing any.
James Edwards: I didn’t do it because I’m some plucky underdog with a huge heart. I did because I’m not afraid to call people on their sh*t and take them head on. So if you three are gonna do what I think you are, then let’s get it over with.
Edwards backs away and assumes a stance that lets the three men surrounding him know that violence is imminent. The stare down that ensues between Edwards and Valero is intense. For a moment, everything is silent. Not even a breath breaks it.
And then, Valero cracks that usual smirk.
Ricky Valero: Let the man through boys.
He mutters, albeit a bit unpleasantly, placing his hands on Bristow & Barnes, and forcing them to move out of Edwards’ path.
Edwards doesn’t crack a smile or offer a response. He relaxes his stance and looks straight ahead down the hall and starts walking with the intent of getting out of dodge before Valero changes his mind, and while the situation may be over for James, it clearly isn’t for Ricky. Valero continues to stare a hole through the back of Edwards’ head as the show transitions to a break.

DYNAMIC DUOS TOURNAMENT - SECOND ROUND The Crimson Baroness and Jensen Banks vs. Chainsaw & Rowe As the houselights fade, “Feel Good Inc.” by Leo Moracchioli blasts out through the arena, as out from the back come two thirds of the SSWA Trios Champions: Holly Chainsaw and Kenzie Rowe! The pair stomp around the entranceway, flipping the bird to the booing crowd as they go. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Second Round match in the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament! Introducing first, on their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 267 pounds… “HORRORSHOW” HOLLY CHAINSAW… AND KENZIE ROWE!!! The pair pose together a moment, Kenzie crouching low, Holly standing tall, before they both head down to the ring. As fans reach out to them, they brush them off, concentrating on approaching the ring. Holly slowly climbs the ring steps, before walking out onto the apron, whilst Kenzie hops up there in a single bound, the pair each hooking one leg over the middle rope before turning back out to the crowd. They flip them off, before slipping into the ring under the top rope, and making their way to a corner, the pair sharing a private joke with each other whilst waiting. Geoff Penzer: Chainsaw & Rowe pulled off a victory over the unknown duo of Hereditary Beerage. This time, they know exactly who their opponents are and what they're capable of. Jensen Banks is a man who I’ve had the pleasure of calling matches for since his wrestling debut nearly two years ago. The Crimson Baroness is someone that I’m also very familiar with and let me tell you, she’s as underhanded as they come. But she’s also tenacious. Chainsaw & Rowe have a heck of a battle on their hands. "Born Ready" begins to play as Jensen Banks makes his way out from behind the curtain and immediately begins pumping the audience up, asking them if they're ready. After getting the audience hyped up, Jensen makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with all of the fans in the front row as he circles the ring before sliding into the ring. Melanie Sierra: And their opponents! Introducing first, from Queens, New York! Weighing in at 206 pounds… JENSEN BANKS!!! Banks then runs over to a corner and quickly hops on the middle turnbuckle before slapping the top turnbuckle and raising his arms in the air to cheers. Jensen then hops off and immediately begins running the ropes as he waits for the match to begin, smiling the entire time. Geoff Penzer: Jensen Banks is a former Old North Champion from his days in LDFC. He’s also the reigning CCP Junior Heavyweight Champion. The man certainly knows how to keep up the pace. But if this match slowly down, he can also throw those hands. So no matter the tempo of this match, you’ve got to like Banks’ chances. The opening chords of 'The Devil's Bleeding Crown' by Volbeat begins to play throughout the arena as The Crimson Baroness steps out from behind the curtain; her top hat is tipped forward, covering her eyes slightly as she poses, resting both hands on the head of her cane. The crowd immediately begin booing and jeering, letting The Baroness know exactly what they think of her. She begins her slow walk to the ring, shrugging off the hatred with a sense of nonchalance. Melanie Sierra: And his partner, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! She is THE CRIMSON BARONESS!!! She climbs up the ring steps, urging the referee to hold the ropes open for her before she steps in under the middle ropes; The Crimson Baroness removes her hat and places it delicately in the corner next to her cane before she waits for the match to begin. Geoff Penzer: I’ve seen that cane of hers come into play during many high profile matches. So I wouldn’t at all be shocked if that cane made it’s way into the ring at some point. So what you want about her attitude and believe me, you’d be here all day. But the Baroness has become one of the better tag team wrestlers in the world today. But Annie Zellor is not standing on that apron. It’s Jensen Banks, a man who she has never seen eye to eye with in the past. It’ll be interesting to see if this random pairing can put their issues to the side for a chance at Tag Titles gold. Here we go! The bell sounds as Banks and Chainsaw start things off with a staredown. Chainsaw quickly steps back and goes for a kick below the belt. But Banks instinctively reaches down and catches her foot. Shocked that Chainsaw would go for a kick below the belt (at least this early), Banks throws her foot down and follows up with a punch to the face that rocks Chainsaw. Banks continues to nail the “Horrorshow” with repeated punches to the face. He then goes for an irish whip. But Chainsaw reverses, sending him into the ropes. When Banks returns, Chainsaw doubles him over with a punch to the midsection. She then sends him down to a knee after a clubbing strike to the back. Chainsaw follows up with a high knee lift, knocking Banks down. Instead of going for the cover, Chainsaw puts the boots to Banks. She then finally drops down into a lateral press. ONE! . . TWO! . . Banks kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Chainsaw tried to go low early on, but Banks wisely caught her foot. I’m not expecting a technical masterpiece with this pairing in the ring. Chainsaw would love for this thing to turn into an all out slugfest. Chainsaw picks up Banks, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Banks around, Chainsaw nails him with rights and lefts to the midsection. After taking Banks by the arm, Chainsaw irish whips him into the opposite corner. Chainsaw then charges across the ring to attack, but Banks knocks her back with a back elbow to the face. After shaking off the blow, Chainsaw runs back into the corner, only to get another back elbow to the face. While Chainsaw appears dazed, the crowd cheers when Banks runs from out of the corner and throws her down with an overflow arm drag. Chainsaw gets back to her feet, only to get returned to the mat by a dropkick. When Chainsaw gets back to a vertical base, she quickly gets knocked back down by a second dropkick. Banks makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Chainsaw kicks out. Banks picks up Chainsaw and whips her into the ropes. When Chainsaw returns, Banks brings her down with a drop toe hold. He then quickly tries to wrap up Chainsaw in the Gorilla Clutch. But Chainsaw wisely slithers across the ring and wraps her arms around the bottom rope, forcing the ref to implement a rope break. Ref: ONE… TWO… Banks reluctantly lets go. Geoff Penzer: Banks tried to wrap Chainsaw up in the submission. But she was just too slippery for him there. After Chainsaw gets back to her feet, the two grapplers circle the ring before motioning for a lock up. At the last second, Chainsaw opts out in favor of a kick to the midsection. The boos continue as she knocks Banks into her corner with repeated punches to the face. She then reaches out and grabs Banks by the throat with both hands. The crowd boos while the ref gives her until the count of five to break the choke. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… Chainsaw lets go before Rowe reaches in and holds Banks’ arms back. After quickly hooking Banks’ legs on the middle ropes, the crowd gasps as Chainsaw backs up towards the center of the ring to set up the Dick Kick. Geoff Penzer: No no no no no... Chainsaw runs towards the corner. But the ref steps in front of her, forcing Chainsaw to slam on the breaks. While Chainsaw and the ref argue, Banks is able to wrestle his arms away from Rowe before nailing her with a back elbow. He then unhooks his legs from off the middle ropes. But before he can get out of the corner, he’s quickly met with a running clothesline from Chainsaw. The Horrowshow then tags Rowe in. The crowd boos as Rowe gets in and nails Banks with a knife edge chop. She then takes Banks and goes for an irish whip. But Banks reverses, sending Rowe into the ropes (where TCB delivers a knee to the back). As Rowe stumbles away from the ropes, Banks knocks her down with a jumping calf kick. He makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Rowe kicks out. Banks picks up Rowe and wrenches the arm. After another arm wrench, the ref asks Rowe if she wants to give up. When she refuses, Banks delivers another arm wrench. He then looks over and sees TCB putting her hand out for the tag. Against his better judgement, Banks drags Rowe over and tags in TCB. Geoff Penzer: Look at that! I’m surprised Banks didn’t tag her in with a slap to the face. The crowd boos as TCB steps through the ropes. She tells Banks “thank you, sweetie” before taking control of the arm. She wrenches Rowe’s arm forwards and backwards, causing Rowe to groan from the pain. The ref asks Rowe if she wants to give up. When she refuses, TCB tries to yank the arm from out of its socket. As soon as Rowe tries to reach over with her free arm, TCB tries to yank the arm from out of its socket again. Rowe then rolls forward, gets back to her feet and reverses into an arm wrench of her own. But TCB is able to quickly reverse the arm wrench and follow up with a hook kick, knocking Rowe into the ropes. While Rowe tries to shake off the blow, TCB heads over and delivers three chops before shooting her into the far ropes. When Rowe returns, TCB sets up for a back body drop. But Rowe counters by grabbing her by the hair and throwing her down with a mat slam. TCB immediately grabs the back of her head. Geoff Penzer: Well that’s one way to turn the tide... After shaking off the arm, Rowe marches back over and puts the boots to TCB. She then brings TCB back to her feet before delivering a straightjacket neckbreaker. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TCB kicks out. Rowe picks up TCB, places her in a side headlock and rakes her face along the top rope. After letting go, she rakes TCB down the back before turning her around and lighting up her chest with chops. She then takes TCB and goes to whip her into the other unoccupied corner. But TCB reverses, sending Rowe crashing into the turnbuckles. She then runs across the ring to attack. But Rowe ducks and dumps her over the top rope. When Rowe turns around, TCB doubles her over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. After dragging Rowe throw the ropes, TCB takes a few steps back on the apron before running forward and connecting with a bicycle knee strike to the side of the head. After Rowe crumbles to the canvas, TCB slides back inside and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Rowe gets her shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Good counter and follow up there by TCB, but it only gets a count of two. TCB picks up, snapmare her over and delivers a hard kick to the back before running into the ropes (where Chainsaw nails her with a clubbing blow to the back of the head). After staggering away from the ropes, TCB sneers as she turns, runs over and knocks Chainsaw off the apron with a dropkick. As soon as TCB gets back to her feet, Rowe quickly rolls her up from behind with a schoolboy. ONE! . Rowe hooks the tights . TWO! . . T-NO! TCB kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Rowe nearly stole the win by hooking the tights! Both grapplers scramble to get back to a vertical base. But TCB beats Rowe to the feet first and follows up with a Shining Black, knocking Rowe down. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Chainsaw drags TCB to the outside, turns and tosses her against the guardrail. Chainsaw then puts the boots to TCB before nailing her with knee thrusts to the chest. While Chainsaw goes to work on TCB, Banks steps through the ropes and marches across the ring. After grabbing the top rope with both hands, he calls out to Chainsaw. Once the Horrowshow’s attention has been captured, she turns to face the ring. That’s when Banks leaps over the top rope and knocks her down with a slingshot plancha, resulting in cheers from the crowd. He then places Chainsaw in a headlock before hammering away with short-range punches to the face. Geoff Penzer: Banks has the crowd on their feet after that dive to the floor! But what’s Rowe doing in the ring!? Back inside, Rowe gets to her feet before running into the far ropes. Once Banks gets down with Chainsaw and turns around, the crowd boos when Rowe knocks him down with a topé con hilo. Geoff Penzer: Rowe just wiped out Banks on the outside! Rowe goes over, picks up TCB and goes for an irish whip. But TCB reverses, sending Rowe into the side of the ring. After a shoot kick to the chest, TCB pushes Rowe back inside. After sliding back in, TCB picks up Rowe and whips her hard into the opposite corner. As Rowe staggers from out of the corner, TCB runs into a nearby set of ropes. When she returns, she goes for the Crimson Kiss (cutter). But Rowe shoves her off into the ropes. When TCB returns, Rowe throws her down with a belly to belly suplex. She hooks the far leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . TCB gets her shoulder up. Rowe picks up TCB and throws her down with a scoop slam before dragging her into position. She then hops onto the apron through the ropes and goes for a slingshot senton. But she ends up landing across TCB’s knees. Geoff Penzer: TCB got the knees up! TCB gets to her feet and drags Rowe into position before stepping out onto the apron. She then scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and goes for a diving splash. But Rowe rolls out of the way. Geoff Penzer: Nobody’s home! After TCB gets up on her knees, Rowe nails her with a superkick before planting her with a Snap DDT. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . T-NO! TCB gets her shoulder up. Rowe grabs her by the legs, drags her into the corner and tags Chainsaw back in. Rowe then holds TCB in place while Chainsaw scales to the top turnbuckle. Geoff Penzer: What’s Chainsaw going for her? She’s not known for going up top... Chainsaw leaps off and crashes across TCB with a senton bomb. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Banks drags Chainsaw off of TCB and locks her in the Gorilla Clutch. Geoff Penzer: Banks has it locked in! He’s got Chainsaw trapped in the Gorilla Clutch! While Banks has the hold locked on, the ref gives him until a count of five to break the hold and return to the apron. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… F- Banks reluctantly lets go and makes his way back out onto the apron. After Chainsaw gets back to her feet, she’s met with a kick to the midsection from TCB. She then takes Chainsaw and goes for an irish whip. But Chainsaw reverses, sending her into the ropes. When TCB returns, Chainsaw knocks her down with a spinning heel kick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . TCB gets her shoulder up. Chainsaw picks up TCB and whips her into the corner. She then runs over to attack. But TCB knocks her back with a back elbow. After shaking off the blow, Chainsaw runs back towards the corner. TCB comes up and cuts her off with a spinning back fist, following by a Jumping DDT. Geoff Penzer: TCB plants Chainsaw head-first onto the apron! This is her chance to tag out! Chainsaw lays sprawled out on the canvas as TCB turns over and tries to crawl over towards the corner. Just then, Rowe gets in, grabs TCB and drags her back to the center of the ring before delivering an elbow drop to the back. As she heads back out to the apron, Chainsaw begins to stir on the canvas. When Chainsaw sits up, she turns and sees TCB pushing herself up on all fours and crawling over towards the corner. Once TCB gets to her feet, Chainsaw rushes over and grabs her from behind. Geoff Penzer: Chainsaw’s got a hold of TCB! She’s dragging hr back towards the center of the ring! Chainsaw applies a waist lock as TCB reaches out to make the tag. She tries to jump out of Chainsaw’s arms to make the tag. But Chainsaw keeps the waist lock tightly applied. So TCB nails her with three elbows to the face. Once the hold is broken, she reaches back, places Chainsaw in a three quarter facelock and brings her down with the Crimson Kiss. After sitting up, TCB returns to her feet, dives over and tags Banks back in. Geoff Penzer: Here comes Banks! The crowd cheers as Banks gets in and knocks down the oncoming Rowe with a jumping calf kick. He then drops her with another calf kick after she returned to her feet. Chainsaw gets back to her feet and throws out a clothesline. But Banks ducks and knocks her down with a jumping calf kick as well. He then takes Chainsaw and goes for an irish whip. But Chainsaw reverses, sending him into the ropes. When he returns, Chainsaw sets up for a back body drop. But Banks stops, her hooks her arms and counters with a lifting double underhook sitout facebuster. The cheers continue as he turns her over and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Rowe dives over and breaks up the pin. Geoff Penzer: Timely save there from Rowe! Rowe picks up Banks and nails him with three punches to the face before turning and running towards the ropes. She goes for a handspring back elbow. But Banks catches her in mid air, turns and throws her down with a Blue Thunder Bomb. The crowd explodes with cheers. Geoff Penzer: What a counter from Banks after catching Rowe in mid air! When Banks returns to his feet, he turns and sees Chainsaw pulling herself up using the ropes. So he goes over to deliver a Lungblower. But Chainsaw wraps her arms around the top rope, causing Banks to slip off her back and fall to the canvas. She then picks up Banks, hooks him from behind and delivers the Toxic Shock (leaping inverted headlock backbreaker). She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Banks gets his shoulder up. Chainsaw picks up Banks and lifts him up for a vertical suplex. But Banks slips down from behind, hops onto her shoulders and plants her with an inverted frankensteiner. After bringing Chainsaw back to her feet, he knocks her down to a knee with a rolling kesagiri chop. Banks then turns and runs into the ropes, where TCB makes the blind tag. When Banks comes back, Chainsaw leaps up and knocks him down with a lariat. As Chainsaw turns around to pick up Banks, TCB comes up from behind and goes for a Baronessplex (teardrop suplex). But Chainsaw slips down from behind and shoves her into the ropes. When TCB returns, Chainsaw sets up for a back body drop. So TCB stands her upright with a kick to the face before going for a Jumping DDT. But Chainsaw catches her in mid air, charges into the corner and rams him back-first into the turnbuckle. After hooking TCB’s legs across the middle ropes, Chainsaw backs up towards the center of the ring as Rowe gains the ref’s attention. She then charges into the corner and connects with a C*** Punt, sending TCB crumbling from out of the corner. Chainsaw then drags TCB towards the center of the ring, lifts her up and brings her down with the Chainsaw Driver (double pumphandle wheelbarrow driver). ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd boos when “Feel Good Inc.” hits the speakers. Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners, CHAINSAW & ROWE!!! The boos continue as Chainsaw and Rowe get their arms raised in victory. Geoff Penzer: Chainsaw and Rowe pick up the win to advance to the Quarterfinals. To my surprise and to the surprise to many, TCB and Banks were on the same page for the most part. But a timely counter led to Chainsaw picking up the win for her team. ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

The FlashPoint feed cuts backstage to one of the rear corridors of the Liacouras Center. Chris Madison and Frankie Morrison are standing face to face, in mid conversation, as Invictus Fight Club’s debut match as a tag team looms. Madison reaches his right arm across his chest and pulls it in closer by grabbing just above his elbow with his left arm.
Frankie Morrison: This is it Chris. Tonight starts the gauntlet of matches you’ve lined yourself up for: Dynamic Duos against Her Majesty’s Rejects, Bad Company against Omerta, Pride of Puroresu Crown versus Chandler Scott for the GPC World Heavyweight Championship, WCS International Championship title defense against Nick Redfield. I hope you haven’t piled too much onto the plate.
Chris smirked as he switched arms, shooting his left across his chest and clutching it with his right hand.
Chris Madison: Is that what you think? Afraid I’m goin’ to wear myself out?
Frankie Morrison: If we’re being completely honest, yeah! The Pride of Puroresu Crown tournament itself has been grueling. Between the constant travel and the battles you went through, it’s astonishing that you’re still standing. Let’s not forget that in just over a month's time, you’re getting your rematch against Savannah for the Pride Championship.
Chris Madison: So that’s it… You think that I won’t be able to recapture the Pride Championship after goin’ through all of these tournaments.
Frankie Morrison: It’s not that… You can’t fault me for being concerned that you’re not going to be in peak condition to contend with the hell that you’re putting yourself through!
Chris Madison: I know what I’m doin’.
Frankie Morrison: Do you? Because looking from the outside in, it looks like you’re trying to kill yourself inside that ring. How much can your body really take?
Chris Madison: Oh please…
Chris huffed as he switched stretches, reaching behind his back, placing the palm of his hand between his shoulder blades and pushing down at the elbow, alternating between arms.
Chris Madison: Listen, you’ve got nothin’ to worry about. The goal when beatin’ Molly Reid was to become a fightin’ champion that this company could be proud of. I may have lost the belt, but there isn’t a person in FGA the personifies what the Pride division is all about more than me. That desire to be recognized as a fightin’ champ still burns and Savannah’s life at the top of the mountain is dwindlin’. She won’t always have her friends there to fight her battles for her!
Frankie Morrison: You better figure something out for Trouble in Paradise. Whether it’s Heather Lasiewicz, Yun Goeun, Izzy Anders, or someone else, Savannah and her title reign are going to be protected.
Chris Madison: That’s a hurdle we’ll have to deal with when we get there. Savannah has proven just how weak she is. But I can’t let that distract me from everything else that I’ve got goin’ on. Today, it’s strictly Kai Cooper and Daragh O’Connor. And who knows, maybe defeatin’ them will lead to a tag match against Blonde Ambition.
Chris’s eyes lit up at the thought of a possible tag match against the two people responsible for an abrupt ending to his first title reign in FGA.
Frankie Morrison: Just don’t lose sight of what this tournament is for. It’s not a personal mission for redemption. Mark is relying on you…
Chris Madison: ...and I’m relying on him. Not to fight my battles for me, but to stand by my side and change the landscape of FGA. As unconventional as he is, he’s a purist just like me. We fight for the same reasons, we strive for the same things; my brother in arms! We’re goin’ to open everyone’s eyes and leave our mark on tag team wrestlin’ over the next couple of months, no matter who stands in our way!
Behind Chris and off to the side, a door swung open and Mark Storm stepped out.
Mark Storm: Are we ready for this war with Her Majesty’s Rejects?
Chris Madison: Always ready...
Chris nodded his head as Frankie Morrison stepped between the two members of Invictus Fight Club, patting them on the backs as the feed cuts away.

The scene fades backstage inside of the Upper Echelon locker room where Emilio Vialpando and Jinzai were seen preparing for their match tonight. And by preparing we mean they were just playing video games off of their Xbox One that they brought into play until their match came up. What was it they were playing you ask? Well, Injustice.
Emilio Vialpando: Stop f*cking around cuzz.
Jinzai reaches a hand up and places a hand over Emilio’s eyes, trying to cheat his way to a victory as he grins maniacally.
Jinzai: Aye, winning by any means, Hebi-chan! By ANY MEANS!
Jinzai’s grin abruptly leaves his face as Emilio manages to get the combo off he needed to win the round. He sputters in disbelief, trying to figure out just HOW this happened.
Jinzai: Huh… wha… How the f*ck did you even…? You couldn’t see jack, what the actual f*ck!?
Emilio stands up and begins to do a salsa dance while waving the controller in the air. Capone walks in and sees the two playing Injustice.
Tony Capone: What the hell is going on?
The two turn around and see Capone standing here.
Emilio Vialpando: Heeeeyyy uh...Nothing just you know. Getting ready for the match tonight.
Tony Capone: By playing a video game? Are you kidding me Serpe?
Jinzai quickly stands up, still holding onto the controller.
Jinzai: Tony, Tony. It was my idea. Hebi and I were both wanted to calm the nerves and get in the right state of mind and I tossed the idea out there to game it up for a bit.
He gives a small shrug,
Jinzai: It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Jinzai pauses for a moment, looking between Capone and the controller in his hands, before offering it up.
Jinzai: ...You want in on this? You strike me as the type that would LOVE to wreck someone’s world with Doomsday.
Capone stares down at the control her then back up at Jinzai.
Tony Capone: No. Damnit, I need you to to focus.
Emilio puts down the control and chuckles.
Emilio Vialpando: Breh, we are.
Tony Capone: Are you? I come in here and see you to playing f*cking Injustice instead of getting ready for your match tonight. You two are facing a double champion and a former world champion. The two of you may be as good as the two say and believe you are but that does not mean you can just sit around and play video games like a couple of teenagers right before a huge match in this tournament that may lend to you two becoming this company’s World Tag Team Champions!
Capone looks down and rubs the bridge of his nose as he takes a deep breath.
Emilio Vialpando: Chill, Tony. We got this. Me y Jinzai been watching tape and training for this night. We’re ready. There’s nothing wrong with having a bit of fun before we go out there and tear the house down.
Jinzai nods.
Jinzai: You’ve been drilling it in our heads to know ourselves and our opponents since we said we wanted in on this tournament and we’ve been working our asses off nightly putting in work.
Holding a hand up, Jinzai begins to list off as he looks over at Capone.
Jinzai: We know who we’re going up against and what they’re capable of. We know what we’re getting ourselves into for the night and every night after with this tournament. We know there’s no pushovers and we’ve pissed off a LOT of people with what we said.
Jinzai twirls the controller in his hands, bouncing it lightly as he spoke with a tone of confidence.
Jinzai: All that’s left for us to do is to go out there and show the world that every word we said at the presser was all fact and zero fiction, right? That if you’re not UE, then you’re in second place and falling. This is why we’re here, and before our run is up you’re gonna see us with our hands raised and gold around our waists. We’re ready for whatever, Tony. I promise.
Tony studies the two men and nods seeing they was truly ready for tonight.
Tony Capone: Alright...Fine. You’re both right. Just remember this is part of the first step to everything that we have planned for. Don’t lose focus of that. I have to go make a call, I’ll meet you two at the guerilla site when it’s time to head out there.
The two nod as Capone turns and leaves the locker room. Emilio gently pushes Jinza in the back.
Emilio Vialpando: You want a rematch, Drago? Or are you too scared I’ma get lucky again and win jaja!
Jinzai scowls up at Emilio.
Jinzai: The hell you are! Last time was once in a lifetime for you with that Flash bullsh*t, Hebi-chan. THIS time? We’re taking the fight to Gotham!
He promptly sits down and begins to pick his character.
Jinzai: Same rules as last time?
Emilio grins brightly, and the two sit down as the scene fades on them trash talking one another while the load screen for their fight finishes up.

DYNAMIC DUOS TOURNAMENT - SECOND ROUND Invictus Fight Club vs. Her Majesty’s Rejects Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Second Round match in the 2017 Dynamic Duos Tournament! Introducing first, weighing in at a total combined weight of 387 pounds! They are the team of Kai Cooper and Darragh O’Connor, HER MAJESTY’S REJECTS!!! Geoff Penzer: Two weeks ago, the team of Kai Cooper and Darragh O’Connor defeated Through Diamond Eyes. Can Her Majesty’s Rejects defeat another FGA tandem here tonight? We’re about to find out. The opening lyrics to “You Want A Battle? (Here’s A War)” by Bullet For My Valentine begins to echo throughout the arena as FGA rise to their feet and sing along. The lights dim and smoke begins to overtake the entranceway. Chris Madison and Mark Storm emerge and stand shoulder to shoulder as they look out into the live audience. Mark Storm closes his eyes and hold his arms outward as Chris Madison bounces from side to side on the balls of his feet. Madison clenches his fists, raises them up to his head and pounds both sides of his jaw before letting out a roar. Melanie Sierra: And their opponents, fighting at a combined weight of four hundred and twenty five pounds, the team of Mark Storm and Chris Madison, INVICTUS FIGHT CLUB!!! Madison and Storm make their way down to the ring and Madison immediately marches up the steel steps and climbs through the ropes. He hops up onto the middle rope and looks out towards the crowd, raising both arms above his head as Mark Storm stops on the steps facing the audience and lets out a triumphant roar, with the audience roaring back to him. Storm joins his partner in the ring and the duo turn their attention to the task at hand, immediately putting their game faces on, looking ready to scrap! Geoff Penzer: In the ring is the pairing of Invictus Fight Club. Mark Storm and Chris Madison will be seeing tag team action for the first time in this tournament, having been one of the lucky teams that were granted a BYE in the First Round. They’re obviously the fresher of the two teams. But Her Majesty’s Rejects are vastly more experienced. Storm and Madison may not have worked out all the kinks yet and that could be to the Rejects’ gain. The bell sounds as O’Connor and Madison start things off with a lock up. Geoff Penzer: The power of Her Majesty’s Rejects and “Mayhem” Madison are starting things off her with a tight collar-and-elbow… Madison quickly gains the advantage with a side headlock, which results in some cheers and applause. But O’Connor is able to power out of it by shoving Madison off into the ropes. When Madison returns, O’Connor knocks the Pride Title contender down with a standing shoulder block. Geoff Penzer: Madison didn’t win that exchange! I don’t think he’s going to be winning too many tests of strength against O’Connor, anyway… O’Connor makes his way into the nearby ropes. When he returns, Madison turns over onto his stomach. So O’Connor hops over him before heading into the far ropes. When O’Connor comes back, Madison scrambles to his feet and goes for a Lou Thesz Press. But O’Connor catches him in mid air, stumbles back towards the ropes and drops him across the top rope with a hotshot. Geoff Penzer: Madison just got dropped throat-first across those ropes! Let me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, those ropes are no joke! Those ropes hurt just running into them. So imagine getting your throat dropped across them! After Madison drops to the canvas, O’Connor puts the boots to him. He then mounts himself on top of Madison and hammers away with right hands. Geoff Penzer: O’Connor’s going to work on the Pride Title contender. It was Madison that was hoping he’d be the one in the top mount going to work on his opponent. But instead, he’s on the receiving end! Madison does his best to cover up. But some of the blows still sneak through his defense. After O’Connor returns to his feet, he hooks his arms around Madison’s legs, drags him into position and leans back, catapulting him throat-first against the bottom rope. He then drags Madison towards the center of the ring, faces the Invictus Fight Club corner and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . O’Connor gets off of Madison and greets Storm with a punch to the face. Geoff Penzer: Smart move there by O’Connor. He intentionally made the cover facing the Invictus Fight Club corner to anticipate Storm coming in to make the save. After two more punches, O’Connor takes Storm and shoots him into the ropes. When Storm returns, he slides through O’Connor’s legs. When O’Connor turns around, Storm throws out a kick to the midsection. After O’Connor catches his foot, Storm throws out an enzuigiri. But O’Connor ducks. He then hooks his arms around Storms’ legs and positions him for a wheelbarrow suplex. But before O’Connor can execute the move, Madison comes up from behind and slaps on a sleeper. Geoff Penzer: Madison with the save! Chris Madison just saved Mark Storm from behind flung across the ring by slapping on that sleeper hold! O’Connor lets go of Storm’s legs before trying to pull Madison’s arm from around his neck. But it’s to no avail. So he leans forward, lifting Madison across his back. After O’Connor reaches back and grabs Madison’s legs, he runs backwards before jumping back into the Rejects corner, breaking the hold. He then turns and tags in Kai Cooper. Geoff Penzer: O’Connor tags out to Cooper after valiantly escaping the sleeper hold. The crowd cheers as Cooper gets in and delivers an alternating combination of jabs and chops. He follows up with three shoot kicks to the midsection before bringing Madison from out of the corner. He whips the former Pride Champion into the far ropes. When Madison returns, Cooper brings him down with a hurricanrana. The cheers continue when he sends Madison back down to the canvas. This time, with a headscissors takedown. Cooper makes the cover. ONE! . . Madison kicks out. Cooper picks up Madison and goes for the irish whip. But Cooper reverses, sending him into the ropes. When Madison returns, Cooper throws out a kick to the midsection. After Madison catches his foot, he swings the leg away from him. But Cooper uses the momentum to come back and catch Madison with a spinning back elbow to the face. While Madison is momentarily dazed, Cooper steps back before knocking him down with a superkick. He then hops through the ropes to the apron and begins waving Madison up. Geoff Penzer: Cooper ready to potentially deliver a knockout blow here! He’s just waiting for Madison to get into position... Once Madison returns to his feet and turns around, Cooper goes for a springboard forearm. But Madison leaps up, catches him in mid air and brings him down into a Gogoplata. Geoff Penzer: What a counter by Chris Madison! The cheers continue as Madison cinches in the hold. Cooper can be seen fighting for his life as Madison fights hard for the submission. But the submission ends up being broken by a stomp to the face from O’Connor. After O’Connor heads back out to the apron, Cooper goes over and makes the tag. Once O’Connor gets back in, Her Majesty’s Rejects take Madison and whip him into the far ropes. When he returns, they throw out a double clothesline. But Madison ducks and runs into the ropes. When he returns, he knocks Cooper down with a running yakuza kick. When he turns to O’Connor, he’s caught with a series of forearm shivers to the face. He then takes Madison and whips him into the corner. O’Connor charges into the corner and goes for a corner yakuza kick. But Madison catches his foot. He then swings the leg away from him, grabs O’Connor from behind and delivers a Dragon Suplex into the turnbuckles. Geoff Penzer: Huge suplex there by Madison! Cooper’s down! O’Connor down! Can Madison make the tag!? Madison makes his way across the ring next to the ropes and tags Storm in. As soon as the tag is made, Storm springboards to the top turnbuckle. Cooper rushes over to shove him off. So Storm leaps over him. After landing on his feet, Storm’s momentum sends him rolling forward. When Storm turns around, he nearly gets caught with a running clothesline. But Storm ducks and runs towards the ropes. When Cooper turns around, Storm leaps back and brings him down with a springboard cutter. Geoff Penzer: STORM SEARCH! Storm tries to get back up, but he’s immediately knocked back down after a clubbing strike across the back from O’Connor. O’Connor brings Storm back to his feet before shoving him into the far ropes. When Storm returns, O’Connor scoops him up across his shoulder. He then goes for a running powerslam. But Storm slips down from behind before shoving O’Connor into the turnbuckles. As O’Connor stumbles back, Storm hops onto his shoulders before spiking him with a reverse hurricanrana. As O’Connor stands dazed on his knees, Madison steps back inside before Invictus Fight Club rush from opposite directions and smash him with dual bicycle knees to the face/back of the head. Geoff Penzer: Storm and Madison just clobbered O’Connor with those bicycle knees to the head! My Goodness! After O’Connor crumbles to the canvas, Cooper rushes over to attack. But IFC send him flying over the top rope with a double hip toss. Geoff Penzer: There goes Cooper! He might have been thrown right into the fifth row! Back inside, Madison picks up O’Connor, places him in a standing guillotine and begins to spin in place. After picking up momentum, Madison lifts O’Connor off the mat. The crowd cheers before counting each spin. Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! OUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN! Madison lets go, sending O’Connor tumbling to the canvas. Madison then stumbles into a nearby set of ropes. While Madison waits for the dizziness to wear off, Storm goes over and approaches O’Connor from behind. After O’Connor pulls himself up using the ropes, Storm grabs him from behind, pulls him away from the ropes and delivers a trio of rolling German Suplexes. After pulling O’Connor back to his feet, Madison runs over as IFC deliver a yakuza kick/German Suplex combination. After bringing O’Connor back to his feet, Storm lifts him up across his shoulders before connecting with Dystopia (GTS). While O’Connor is dazed, Madison bounces off the ropes, comes back and drops him with a rolling elbow. Storm then drops down and makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd cheers when “You Want a Battle (Here’s A War)” blasts throughout the arena. Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners, the INVICTUS FIGHT CLUB! The cheers continue when Storm and Madison get their arms raised in victory. Geoff Penzer: But of a slow start there for this new duo as the Pride Title’s top contender got worked over for a little bit. Perhaps that hectic schedule was starting to catch up to him. But the tide turned towards the end and now, Madison and Storm are advancing to the Quarterfinals in two weeks, where they will be meeting the winner of Serpent’s Touch vs. Smart Style! ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

The thud of a low chime rings out, and the beginning of “Sirens” by Elephante ring through the arena. The lights in the arena dip as the crowd voices their extreme approval of one Fujiko Mine. The lights bump in time with the beat, bathing the crowd in alternating pale purple and gold lights. Why came disaster, I see your face Under the laughter you store away Come down, come down, come out and play Biting the nails of catastrophe When didn't your sails come and dance with me Come down, come down, we're lost at sea At the top of one of the crowd entrances, one Fujiko Mine appears. The camera focuses on her as she looks out at the fans surrounding her. She is clad in a pair of yoga pants and a white “Popular” t-shirt. Geoff Penzer: This crowd is going crazy for the returning Fujiko Mine! The nearest fans wave to catch her attention; Fujiko slaps some hands as she makes her way through the crowd and down to the ring. All I want is perfect timing All I got was silver lining I can't stop, these tides from rising So I'm coming back for you Coming back for you-OH! The breakdown of the song kicks in, and the lights dance along with them. Fujiko reaches the ringside area, and follows it up with a graceful handspring onto and over the guardrail. She quickly runs up the steps, then hops onto the top turnbuckle. A single spotlight converges on the woman known as the Inescapable Goddess. Melanie Sierra: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome Fujiko Mine! Fujiko poses on the top turnbuckle, her hands outstretched over her head and her eyes closed. The majority of the fans throw their hands up with Fujiko. The lights return to normal. Fujiko gets down off the turnbuckle, and is handed a microphone from Melanie. The music dies down, but it is replaced by something else.
“Wel-come back! Wel-come back!”
“Wel-come back! Wel-come back!”
“Wel-come back! Wel-come back!”
“Wel-come back! Wel-come back!” Fujiko shakes her head, clearly fighting back emotions as she is praised by the Philly crowd. She paces around the ring as the crowd cheers, and even punches her thigh a couple of times. The cheers die down, and she is finally able to bring the microphone up to her lips. Fujiko Mine: C’mon Philly, man… The crowd cheers again, part of the cheers for the cheap pop. Fujiko Mine: Like I said earlier in the week, it’s great to be back. And it’s all thanks to you guys. Without all of you, I wouldn’t be standing here right now. I know that I’m not perfect, and I’ve never tried to put on the facade that I am. But you guys love me anyway, and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. More cheers. Fujiko Mine: But there are some other people I have to thank. The crowd buzzes, unsure where this is leading. Fujiko nods her head. Fujiko Mine: Firstly, guys like Chandler Scott and Johnny Karma. They gave me the courage I needed to even consider stepping back in the ring in the first place. Chandler was even nice enough to spar with me, and I appreciate that greatly. Johnny fought valiantly at All Star Showdown, and should be walking around here your FGA Undisputed champion. That kind of fighting spirit reminded me that I needed to pick myself up and fight again, even when people wanted me to give up. So a round for those two, please. Fujiko puts her hands out, surrendering the moment to the aforementioned duo. The crowd obliges, and it grows. “LET’S GO JOHNNY!”
“CHAN-DLER SCOTT!”
“LET’S GO JOHNNY!”
“CHAN-DLER SCOTT!” Fujiko eggs them on, pointing to sides of the arena each time the chant changes. “LET’S GO JOHNNY!”
“CHAN-DLER SCOTT!”
“LET’S GO JOHNNY!”
“CHAN-DLER SCOTT!” Fujiko laughs as the crowd cheers. She gives it a moment, then continues. Fujiko Mine: But...I also have to thank the people who wished me ill-will. The people who hoped and prayed that Fujiko Mine would never step foot in FGA again. Some who hoped I would never appear in a wrestling ring period. And of course, all the people who kept my name in their mouth while I tended to my personal issues. Thank you. Truly. Because you motivated me to go to Lion’s Road to see if I was ready. And I won. And I lost. But when FGA came calling, I felt like I was ready. A small “Fujiko” chant starts up. Fujiko Mine: And the fact that I would DARE come back made some people take up a seasonal residence on salt mountain. Most of the crowd boos this. Fujiko Mine: No no no, I know you all know who I mean. Couple of champions...a hall of famer...thought that it would be just fine to run their mouths while they knew I wasn’t coming. They’re all about attacking me when they know I couldn’t defend myself. And that’s cool. That’s how they operate. And it worked out well for me, too. With all the money I made off them mentioning me, I was able to do all of this… Fujiko motions to the FGAtron. The view cuts back to ringside, where Fujiko has an amused look on her face. The crowd approves as well, laughing and cheering. Fujiko Mine: But I didn’t come back to FGA just to make some hall of famers get their panties in a twist. I came back to finish what I started. I guess that’s petty and vindictive of me, right? Super egotistical? To want to make my way back up the ladder here in FGA? Fujiko finds the nearest camera and winks right into it. Fujiko Mine: So, why Vertigo? Why after The New Murder secured their first victory as a team? And why Molly? Fujiko shrugs, as if the answer is obvious. Fujiko Mine: Because I felt like I should’ve beaten Molly. So I did what any self respecting warrior would do. I didn’t attack her. I just made my play for a rematch. A chance for me to prove I can beat Molly Reid. A select few acted like I ruined everything by pointing out facts. The fact that, no matter whether they like it or they don’t, I was the first woman to win a singles title here in FGA. No disrespect to either member of Sex Sells, Izzy Anders, Noelle Smith, Mia Scott and the rest. But the record books have MY name first. Nothing anyone says will change that. The crowd is mostly pro-Fujiko on this. The boos that pepper in could possibly be for the names she mentioned. Fujiko Mine: Am I proud of how it happened? I don’t need to retread that. Most people have things in their career they aren’t exactly proud of. BUT, I know that when all is said and done, I can be one of the greats in FGA. I can reach that hall of fame status. But I have to take it step by step. And that first step is Molly Reid. The crowd boos the member of The New Murder. Fujiko Mine: I just hope that she can leave Captain hissy fit and his followers behind, so we can find out if she really can still beat me. You expressed that you wanted to disappoint me, but I think the only person that is going to end up disappointed is you. Because this Goddess is bringing a fire you’ve never seen before. She’s going to take your absolute best, and still keep fighting. And when you finally have nothing left? Fujiko leans in, her demeanor serious now. Fujiko Mine: That is when I am going to kick your chin off, pin you for three, and leave you...and the rest of the murder...squarely in my rear view mirror. I am saying now, in front of all these people, that I’m going to work harder than anyone, beyond when I make it to the top of FGA. I’ll prove that I can do more than just make you humble on social media. Don’t like it? Try your luck. Fujiko flips the microphone, as “Sirens” rings throughout the Liacouras center. Fujiko bows for the crowd, who cheer her profusely. Geoff Penzer: Strong words from the former Pride champion. Will Molly Reid accept the challenge? Fujiko has made her way back into the crowd, and slaps hands with some of them on her way out...

The scene opens, somewhere, with a rear view of The Tenacious Little Bastard and his new ‘I hate Everyone’ leather jacket. He chuckles to himself softly, barely audible to the viewing audience; his right hand shoots upwards and through his hair as he mutters those immortal words.
Dom Harter: Jimmy Page…
His right hand clenches up into a fist and slams into the wall in front of him! Harter turns around with a scowl on his face; he’s staring past the camera, breathing slowly, patiently even, standing with one hand on a hip. The other is raised by his face, his fingers drumming against the palm until he finally speaks again.
Dom Harter: For weeks, Jimmy, weeks!
He raises his voice for the last word. Harter exhales again, drumming his fingers against the palm as his hand as he closes and reopens his eyes.
Dom Harter: For weeks I waited – we waited, Jimmy. To hear what you’d have to say about All Star Showdown. And I have to tell you, Jimmy, I have to tell you that I’m disappointed. Disappointed in you. Disappointed in them–
He gestures towards where the crowd would be.
Dom Harter: –disappointed in everyone who believes a word that comes out of your mouth. But you stood there: you told me that I’m a liar, you told me that I’m trash, and you didn’t even have the decency to learn the names of the people who stomped you into that mat. And they cheered you for it…
There’s that chuckle again. This time it’s the left hand that ran through his hair as Dom turns his stare slightly, so now he’s looking right into the camera.
Dom Harter: Anyone but Harter, right? You’ll cheer the miscreants, the bottom dwellers, the frauds, the hacks, the cheaters, the unabashed hypocrites who cling to any old accolade to boost their ego! It doesn’t matter if they have any substance. Any integrity. Any common decency. AS LONG AS THEY’RE AGAINST ME!
He pounds his chest.
Dom Harter: AS LONG AS THEY’RE AGAINST THE NEW MURDER!
He pounds his chest with his fist again.
Dom Harter: It doesn’t matter to these fans if you tuck tail and run. It doesn’t matter if you slander them to whoever will listen. It doesn’t even matter to them … if you lie to their faces. Honesty, integrity, loyalty? These mean nothing to the FGA fans! They will welcome you back with open arms, they will chant your name, they will tell you to f*ck me up … and it’s not because they like you. It’s because they hate me … and they always have. But they won’t admit that to themselves, and they certainly won’t admit it to you…
Dom chuckles again, looking down towards the floor as he exhales deeply. Once more, he runs a hand through his hair as he continues.
Dom Harter: So tell me, Jimmy, do you want to try and stop us? To collect the debt, right? Then tell me, Jimmy, you want to stop The New Murder?
Pause. That crooked grin spreads across The Tenacious Little Bastard’s face as he leans forward to ask.
Dom Harter: You and what army?
And with that, the scene ends.

DYNAMIC DUOS TOURNAMENT - SECOND ROUND Neal Durden and Lowri Moss vs. Melody Lennox and Daph the Destroyer The slow, distorted guitar rumbles through the arena, and the crowd boos. As the beat drops, Daph the Destroyer emerges from the curtain, a huge smile on her face. It slowly melts into a scowl, and she saunters to the ring, focused only on the path in front of her. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Second Round match in the Dynamic Duos Tournament! Introducing team number one! First, from Ocean Pointe, Hawaii...DAPH THE DESTROYER!!! She makes it to the ring, and goes up the steps. When she gets to the top, she turns and faces the crowd. Another smile, then she sneers. She then enters the ring, and waits for the match to begin. The lights dim slowly, until a single spotlight is on the stage. "Tear Down The Wall" by Art of Dying's heavy guitar riff rips through the arena, that spotlight going to the curtain to see that Melody Lennox pushes through. She craned her neck, taking in the boos of the fans she'd betrayed in the past year with a wicked smirk. The Villainess threw her nose into the air, a slow, stalking pace following as she made her way down the ramp. Any of the attempts to reach out and touch her hand or make contact with her are met with coldness and disregard. Melanie Sierra: And her partner, from Huntington Beach, California… MELODY LENNOX!!! She approached the apron, dusting it off before taking hold of the bottom rope and pulling herself to the apron. Standing on the outside of it, she threw her arms out to take in the roaring boos before smirking wickedly and nodding her head. The Villainess licked her chops, bending into the ring and undoing the leather entrance jacket she wore, shrugging it off to the stagehand. Approaching the nearest turnbuckle, with little fanfare or playing to the crowd, Lennox crooked her arms at the elbows and leaned against the turnbuckles, popping the gum in her mouth with a cocky grin. Geoff Penzer: Melody Lennox and Daph the Destroyer knocked off the powerful team of DRAGONZORD two weeks ago. Can they keep their momentum up and defeat these two young up starts here tonight? The lights flicker as "Take A Chance" by CFO$ begins to play over the PA system, and out through the curtains walks Neal Durden, followed closely by Lowri Moss. The Welsh duo stand side by side on the stage for a moment, surveying the crowd, before they then make their way towards the ring, with Neal leading the way. Melanie Sierra: And their opponents, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 322 pounds! They are the team of NEAL DURDEN and LOWRI MOSS!!! After climbing the steps and entering the ring, Lowri heads for one of the corners and climbs to the second rope to look out at the cheering fans, while Neal simply stands in the middle of the ring with his pinky finger up and a smirk on his face. Geoff Penzer: Moss has continued to have her problems with AMIRA in recent weeks. But she’s got to block out any issues with the former Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion and focus on this contest right here. Her and her partner, Neal Durden, should in theory be the fresher team. But with the two of them competing elsewhere as well, the BYE from two weeks ago may not be as big of an advantage as it should. The bell sounds as Lennox and Durden start things off. Instead of engaging in a lock up, Durden walks right up to Lennox and places his hands behind his back while he stands up straight. Lennox smirks… before rocking him with a forearm smash to the face. Geoff Penzer: That moved proved costly for the young Durden! The crowd boos as Lennox nails him with three more forearm smashes before stepping to the side and knocking him down with a shoot kick to the chest. Durden tries to get back to his feet. But he quickly gets knocked down by another shoot kick to the chest. After Durden gets back to his feet, Lennox takes him by the wrist and goes for an irish whip. But Durden reverses, sending Lennox into the ropes. When Lennox returns, she knocks Durden down with a leaping clothesline. The crowd boos as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Thus far, the experienced Lennox has gotten better of the young Durden. Let’s see if that trend continues. For Durden’s sake, he better hope that it doesn’t. Lennox picks up Durden, moves him into the corner and nails him with another series of shoot kicks to the chest. She then takes Durden and goes for an irish whip. But again Durden reverses. He then charges across the ring into the opposite corner. But he’s met with a boot to the face. While Durden turns and staggers away from the corner, Lennox runs up from behind and drives him down with a bulldog. The boos continue as she makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden kicks out. Lennox sits up Durden before nailing him with a hard kick to the back. She then nails him with another kick before running into the ropes. When Lennox returns, she flattens Durden on the mat with a front dropkick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden kicks out. Lennox picks up Durden and wrenches his arm. After Durden refuses to submit, she delivers another arm wrench before following up with a shoot kick to the chest. After delivering another arm wrench, Durden reverses into an arm wrench of his own. The cheers continue when Durden begins to give Lennox several arm wrenches in a row. Lennox can be seen wincing while she howls in pain. The ref asks her if she wants to quit. She then rolls forward, leans back, kips up, reverses into another arm wrench and follows up with a rake across the eyes. She then takes Durden and kicks him in the midsection before setting up for a DDT. But Durden is quick to grab Durden and ram her into the corner before tagging in Lowri Moss. As soon as Moss gets in, Lennox scurries out of the corner. Geoff Penzer: Lennox wisely got out of that corner before being trapped it in. Moss and Lennox begin sizing each other up as they circle the ring. They then head towards the center and lock up. After jockeying for position, Lennox places Moss in a side headlock. But Moss is able to shove her off into the ropes. When Lennox returns, Moss goes for a back body drop. But Lennox slips down from behind. As soon as she grabs Moss around the waist, Moss runs towards the ropes. She then hooks her arms around the top rope and yanks back, sending Lennox off her back and down to the canvas. After Lennox rolls back to her feet, Moss runs over and throws out a clothesline. But Lennox ducks as Moss’ momentum takes her into the ropes. When Moss returns, Lennox throws her down with a deep hook japanese arm drag. Moss gets back up, only to get thrown down by another japanese arm drag. After Moss gets back to her feet, Lennox knocks her down with a dropkick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Moss kicks out. Lennox picks up Moss and goes for an irish whip. But Moss reverses, sending Lennox into the ropes. When Lennox returns, Moss throws her down with a hip toss. After Lennox gets back to her feet, Moss delivers a pair of japanese arm drags of her down. Once Lennox makes her way back to her feet, Moss throws her down with a scoop slam. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Lennox kicks out. Geoff Penzer: Moss returned the favor with those deep arm drags of her own. Things are looking pretty even between Moss and the former Carnage World Champion... Moss picks up Lennox and whips her into the ropes. When Lennox returns, Moss sets up for another back body drop. This time, Lennox blocks by kicking Moss right in the shoulder. As Moss stands up and holds her shoulder, Lennox turns and runs back into the ropes. When she returns, Moss throws her down with an STO. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Lennox kicks out. After Moss brings Lennox back to her feet, she wrenches the arm before going over and tagging Durden back in. Durden takes control of the arm and wrenches it before sending Lennox into the ropes. When Lennox returns, Durden knocks her down with a dropkick. He then brings Lennox back to her feet, lifts her up and delivers a vertical suplex. After dragging Lennox into position, Durden heads towards the corner and goes for a no-handed springboard moonsault. But Lennox is able to roll out of the way, causing Durden to crash onto the canvas. Geoff Penzer: Nobody was home on that one! Durden thought he had Lennox set up perfectly. But she was able to avoid that moonsault. While Durden turns over and guards his midsection, Lennox gets to her feet, staggers over into the corner and tags in Daph the Destroyer. Geoff Penzer: Oh boy, here comes trouble... Durden gets back to his feet. When he turns around, he jumps at the sight of Daph. Durden looks around at the crowd as Daph slowly makes her way towards him. Durden then runs over and starts hammering away with right hands to the face. But Daph is able to palm Durden’s face before shoving him down to the canvas. After Durden rolls back to his feet, he runs back over and goes for a crossbody block. But Durden bounces right off of Daph. Durden gets back to his feet and then runs into the ropes. When he returns, Daph throws out a clothesline. But Durden ducks. When Daph turns around, she gets caught with a dropkick from Durden. After Daph is knocked back a few steps, Durden gets back to his feet and runs into the far ropes. When he returns, he knocks Daph back several steps with a front dropkick. Durden gets back to his feet before taking off into the far ropes. When Durden returns, Daph knocks him down with a big boot. She then turns and heads into the ropes. When Daph returns, she leaps up and delivers a leg drop right across the throat. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden gets his shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: Daph dropped that leg right across Durden’s throat! I’m surprised Durden was able to avoid the three count. As Daph picks up Durden, Durden delivers several punches to the midsection before trying to lift Daph across his shoulders. But it’s to no avail. After failing to pick up The Destroyer, Daph swats him down with a clubbing strike across the back. She then reaches down, brings Durden back to his feet and doubles him over with three knee strikes to the midsection. Daph then wraps her arms around Durden’s waist before lifting up for a gutwrench powerbomb. But before Daph can throw him down, Durden counters with multiple punches to the head. He then flips back for a hurricanrana. But Daph blocks it as Durden helplessly hangs upside down. Geoff Penzer: Oh no. This isn’t good for Durden... Daph pulls Durden back up, runs towards the corner and delivers a turnbuckle powerbomb. After Durden staggers out of the corner, Daph lifts him up and throws him down with a belly to belly suplex. She hooks the leg. ONE! . . TWO! . . Durden gets his shoulder up. Daph picks up Durden and whips him into the far ropes. When Durden returns, Daph hurls him across the ring with an overhead belly to belly suplex. While Durden lays sprawled across the canvas, Daph heads over and bounces against the ropes. When she returns, she squashes Durden with a running splash. The boos continue as she hooks the far leg for the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THR-NO! Moss dives over and breaks up the pin. Geoff Penzer: Timely save there by Moss! Durden looked all but done there! While Moss heads back out to the apron, Daph brings Durden back to his feet and shoots him into the ropes. When Durden returns, he gets sent flipping down to the canvas after a kitchen sink to the midsection. Daph brings him back to his feet before whipping him hard into the corner. As Durden staggers from out of the corner, Daph runs over and connects with a kitchen sink, sending Durden flipping back down to the canvas. The boos continue while Durden can be seen clutching his midsection in immense pain. The Destroyer heads back over, slowly peels Durden off the mat by the hair and whips him into the ropes. When Durden returns, Daph goes for yet another kitchen sink. This time, Durden flips over and the knee and brings her down with a schoolboy. ONE! . . TWO! . . Daph kicks out. After both grapplers return to their feet, Daph rushes over and throws out a clothesline. But Durden ducks. When Daph turns around, she turns into a spinning heel kick from Durden. After Daph gets knocked back a few steps, Durden rushes over and connects with a step up enzuigiri. While Daph appears to be dazed, Durden turns and runs towards the ropes. But he ends up getting kicked right in the lower back from Lennox resulting in boos from the crowd. Geoff Penzer: Durden just got caught with that cheap shot from behind from Lennox! The boos turn to cheers when Durden turns around and goes after Lennox. But Lennox hops down from the apron. While Durden continues to yell at Lennox, Daph rushes over and delivers The Post-Electric Burn (handspring splash) against the ropes from behind. She then pulls Durden away from the ropes, turns around and grabs him by the throat with both hands. She hoists up Durden for a two handed chokeslam. But Durden blocks it with a bell clap to the ears. After Durden lands on his feet, he nails Daph with repeated kicks to the midsection before turning and running into the ropes. When Durden returns, he hops onto her back before bringing her down with a leg trap sunset flip powerbomb. ONE! . . TWO! . . Daph kicks out. Geoff Penzer: What a move by Neal Durden! But it only gets two! This capacity crowd here in Philly is solidly behind these young up-and-comers as they try to advance to the Quarterfinals... After both grapplers return to their feet, Durden rushes over, places Daph in a front facelock and goes for a running tornado DDT. But before Durden can plant her, Daph grabs a hold of Durden, runs across the ring and rams him back-first into the corner. Daph backs up towards the center of the ring while Durden slumps down in the corner. Once she’s got Durden lined up, Daph runs across the ring and hurls herself at him with the Volcano Crush (cannonball). But Durden rolls out of the way, causing Daph to crash into the turnbuckles. Geoff Penzer: Daph missed! Durden got out of the way just in time! Daph’s down and she looks hurt! Can Durden take advantage of the opening and make the tag to Moss!? Durden begins to slowly pull himself across the mat using the bottom rope. Meanwhile, Daph turns over on all fours and begins to crawl towards the corner. Geoff Penzer: Both grapplers are trying to push through the pain and make their way into their respective corners! But who will make the tag first!? Lennox can be seen with her arm extended while Moss slaps the top turnbuckle. Lennox then sticks herself through the ropes before making the tag. The crowd boos as Lennox hops through the ropes and rushes over to cut off Durden. But it’s too late as he reaches up and makes the tag. Geoff Penzer: Moss is back in!!! The crowd cheers as Moss gets in and greets Lennox with right hands to the face. She then takes Lennox and goes for an irish whip. But Lennox reverses, sending Moss into the ropes. When Moss returns, she delivers a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. After Lennox returns to her feet, Moss grabs her by the wrist and whips her into the ropes. When Lennox returns, Moss throws her down with a back body drop. Lennox arches her back before turning over on her knees and calling for a timeout. But Moss isn’t about to let up. As Moss makes her way back over, Lennox leaps up and rakes her across the eyes. The boos continue when Lennox grabs Moss and throws her down with a chokehold STO. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Moss kicks out. Lennox brings Moss back to her feet and sets her up for a DDT. But Moss is able to grab Lennox, run forward and ram her back-first into the corner. After delivering a series of chops, she takes Lennox and goes for an irish whip. But Lennox reverses, sending Moss into the opposite corner. Lennox then runs across the ring and goes for the Thread and Needle (running corner splash). But Moss moves out of the way, causing Lennox to crash into the turnbuckles. As Lennox stumbles back, Moss places her in an inverted front facelock, resulting in cheers from the crowd. Geoff Penzer: Moss has got her set up! Nos Da!!! Before Moss can deliver the Nos Da (rolling cutter), Daph knocks her down with a running clothesline. She then picks up Moss and whips her into the ropes. When Moss returns, she slides through Daph’s legs. When Daph turns around, Moss and Durden rush over and connect with a double dropkick, knocking her back. After returning to their feet, they rush over and connect with another double dropkick, knocking Daph further back. The duo run back over and connect with yet another double dropkick. This time, Daph is knocked through the ropes and to the floor. When Moss turns around, Lennox throws out another leaping clothesline. But Moss is able to duck, grab Lennox from behind as soon as she lands, lifts her up, turns and throws her down with a Blue Thunder Bomb. The cheers continue as Moss picks up Lennox, hooks her from behind and brings her down with the Nos Da. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . THREE! The crowd cheers when “Whirring” hits the speakers. Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners, LOWRI MOSS and NEAL DURDEN!!! The cheers cotninue while Moss and Durden get their arms raised in victory. Geoff Penzer: Moss and Durden have punched their ticket to the Quarterfinals with this win here tonight over Lennox and Daph the Destroyer. They will meet the winners of our next contest, which will see Lyle Risky and his new partner, the exciting El Stravito versus the tandem of Shootcamp!

LAST WEEK With the latest edition of Vertigo wrapping up in the arena we are backstage where see Johnny Karma walking through one of the Save Mart Center’s corridors, every so often looking over his shoulder in case Izzy Anders is on the warpath or, just as likely, one of her minions has been sent to track him down for one very obvious reason: the FGA Championship belt that Karma has casually resting on his shoulder, the same belt that he ever so slightly borrowed from Izzy without asking permission to do so beforehand As he continues to walk he passes a person wearing a hoodie who looks uncannily like Fujiko Mine, which pauses him to stop in his tracks and check over his shoulder for a very different reason Johnny Karma: Fuji? She looks up, having heard something like her name enough to catch her attention. She was attempting to hang out backstage without drawing attention to herself. She’d been snuck into the building via a side entrance, and was just biding her time until the main event was underway. That’s when she would show her face to the world. But now, realizing her cover was ‘blown’ in a way, she almost wanted to walk away...until she realized who it is that noticed her. She pulled back the hood, revealing her full face to the Karmic Lion. Fujiko Mine: Johnny?! Wow! Joy washes over her face as she realizes that it is indeed her one time rival. She glances at the FGA Undisputed title, returns her gaze back to Karma quickly. Fujiko Mine: Hey, it’s good to see you. I actually wanted to come and talk to you. An almost quizzical expression crosses Karma’s face, which is not entirely unexpected considering that nine times out of ten the only reason people seem to want to come and see him usually involves attacking him with greater numbers or merely running him down every chance that they get Johnny Karma: Really? Karma pauses for a second and points at the hoodie Fujiko’s still wearing Johnny Karma: Nice outfit. She looks down at the “mystery person chic” outfit, coming up with a sheepish smile. With his tongue obviously pressed firmly into his cheek, Karma goes back to the original subject in hand Johnny Karma: So what would you like to talk to me about? The smile fading from her face, she checks behind her, and then behind Johnny before she returns her attention to the number one contender. Fujiko Mine: I wanted... I wanted to apologize. I talked a big game about wanting to be here for the long haul, wanting to change the game here in FGA...then I folded like a cheap lawn chair and went home once my mom took ill. She looks him squarely in the eye, though she struggles to keep the tears back. Fujiko Mine: It’s a long story you kinda already know. It happened like someone pressed fast forward on my life. But when she passed, I didn’t think about anything but myself. I wasn’t strong, like you were. Are. You didn’t let anything stop you from going to that ring, and doing what you do best. She shakes her head. Fujiko Mine: And I should’ve been here. I should’ve been here, helping you run these trash egos out before things got to be...well, to the way they are now. Instead, I was at home, feeling sorry for myself for losing her. She sighs, trying to reset herself. Fujiko Mine: So Johnny, I totally understand if you don’t think I should be here. I don’t blame you if you feel like I abandoned you, or these fans. If you’d just as soon prefer I stay away from you, I get it. I don’t deserve any kind words from you. But I wanted to look you in the eyes and say that I’m sorry. She bunches up a bit of her right sleeve and draws it across her eyes, wiping away any stray moisture that may have escaped her attempts to stay in check. With another sigh, she steels herself. Johnny Karma: Hey, it's okay. Almost as soon as Karma shows a moment of fragility his defences suddenly build themselves back up, causing him to shift uncomfortably as he attempts to steer back on course - all without Cherry to lean on Johnny Karma: I should probably warn you, based on what I’ve learned lately, people are going to convince themselves that having a little humanity is a weakness and they’ll think they can beat you over the head with it endlessly. Believe me, I know… Grimacing at the thought, or more accurately thought s, Karma needs a moment to make sure he’s thinking straight as that particular wound has never been given the chance to heal as it’s been picked at time and again and remains far too raw for him Johnny Karma: Besides, you had a reason to take time out - there’s no reason for plenty of people I could mention to act like they act, but they go ahead and do it anyway. Fujiko nods, relief washing over her in slow waves as she takes in his words. Fujiko Mine: It means a lot, Johnny. More than you know. She takes another second to organize her own thoughts, creating a bit of an awkward silence between the two of them. Fujiko Mine: But considering what I know of you, you’re one of the strongest people I know. To go through what you have, and to still be not only standing...but standing tall...it’s impressive. She offers up a smile. Fujiko Mine: And if you need someone to watch your back, you let me know. I’m back now, and these jealous goons are going to have to kill me if they want me gone again. In the background, the crowd pops as the sound of someone hitting the canvas rings out. It distracts her for a moment. Fujiko Mine: I’m personally looking forward to when that belongs to you, by the way. Fujiko pats the FGA Undisputed championship that is sitting on Johnny’s shoulder. Johnny Karma: Me too. Karma takes a moment to pat the belt, before ever so subtly making sure he’s checking over his shoulder just in case there’s a marauding band of Izzy acolytes coming for him Johnny Karma: Me too. With an appreciative nod, Karma quickly makes his way for the arena exit so he can head off into the night with the title in his possession - or, to be more accurate, with the title as far out of Izzy Anders' grasp as he can manage without booking an intercontinental flight

DYNAMIC DUOS - SECOND ROUND Lyle Risky & El Stravito vs. Shootcamp Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Second Round match in the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament! “Guap” by Big Sean hits the PA System and out comes Lyle Risky from behind the curtains with the lights beginning to flash various colors as if the arena were a club nodding his head to the music while throwing up “the horns” to pay homage to his Texas roots. Geoff Penzer: Look who it is! Haha, and listen to this ovation! At the top of the ramp he does a little dance going side to side while pointing out fans in the crowd. After a minute or two Lyle begins to head down the ramp. Melanie Sierra: Introducing first, hailing from Houston, Texas, weighing in at two hundred pounds… LYYYLE RISKYYY! The music starts and different colored lights flash around. Once the beat drops, El Stravito rolls out from the curtain and pops up on stage. He makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans on each side. Melanie Sierra: And introducing his tag team partner, from San José, Costa Rica, weighing in at one hundred and eighty-five pounds… ELLLL STRAVITOOOO! El Stravito dances to his music on the ring steps before flipping over the ropes into the ring. Stravito leaps on the top turnbuckle to hype the fans as the music dies down. Geoff Penzer: Stravito idolized Risky as he honed his craft and made his way to the States, but now the two have a hell of a battle on their hands. The words between these two teams, especially across social media and at our press conference-- they haven’t been pretty. This fight won’t be either, kids. The marching beat in the intro plays throughout the arena as immediately the crowd in attendance clap along to the beat, the front row smack the guardrail along to the beat as well. As soon as the song kicks in at about 15 seconds, Ace Watson and "Indestructible" Owen Gonsalves burst out from behind the curtain. Both men immediately go to opposite ends of the stage and engage with the crowd, hyped for their upcoming match. The crowd wait in anticipation and as the first line of the song hits, they chant it out along with Owen and Ace: "I'M NOT FUCKING AROUND"The hype behind the chanting of the first lyric in the song connects with Shootcamp as they shake hands like true gentlemen before making their way down to the ring, singing along with the song. Melanie Sierra: And their opponents, at a combined weight of four hundred and twenty-seven pounds… Owen Gonsalves and Ace Watson-- SHOOOOOTCAMP! They both climb onto the apron before bursting up onto the turnbuckles to another ovation from the crowd before the hop into the ring. They meet in the middle as Owen falls into a cross legged seated position and does a gun gesture with his hand as Ace stands behind him and does a shotgun gesture. The song fades out as they move to a corner to discuss their match tactics. Geoff Penzer: This audience is alive and electric for Lyle Risky! It’s a rare occasion that the man they call “Riskodamous” steps between the ropes but Philadelphia is in for a treat her tonight! The bell sounds and Owen Gonsalves starts off with El Stravito. Owen moves forward, leading in with his right foot while he looks for a way to take down the Luchador. Stravito strikes first, nailing a hard forearm to the jaw as Owen strides forward for a pick. It earns an ”OOOOOOHHH…” from the crowd. Owen grins, backing up and repositioning himself-- before he rushes forward, forcing El Stravito into a lockup. The masked Grappler is caught off guard and backed into a neutral corner! Quickly, the referee begins to warn Gonsalves with a five count. Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! F… Owen breaks, taking a step back with a nod. El Stravito steps out of the corner-- and Owen blasts him with a vicious European Uppercut which resonates through the arena! Stravito slowly falls back into a seated position in the corner while Owen shakes the pain out of his arm, backing into the center of the ring. He then races forward and yells out as he dives into the corner to nail a faster, harder European Uppercut! The shot takes El Stravito over the bottom rope and out to the floor! The audience roars as Owen looks back toward his partner, rushing the ropes and allowing Ace Watson to tag himself in. Owen then races back to the far side of the ring, leaping over the top for a Tope Con Hilo to the rising El Stravito! Geoff Penzer: Tope Con Hilo! Owen scrambles to his feet and forces El Stravito up as well, sliding him into the ring beneath the bottom rope! El Stravito staggers upright-- and into a Snap Powerslam by Ace! Geoff Penzer: And right back into the arms of Ace Watson! No chance for El Stravito to breathe! Cover! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . Kickout!Ace Watson mounts El Stravito and unloads with a flurry of rights and lefts! The ref warns Watson and he backs off, standing up. Risky paces on the apron while Watson turns and tags Owen Gonsalves back in. Watson pivots and rushes back toward El Stravito, nailing him with a Running Enzuigiri! Stravito fall to a knee and Watson drops to all fours! Gonsalves readies himself and then runs forward, using Watson’s back as a step-up to run for Stravito! Gonsalves goes for an Enzuigiri as well-- but Stravito ducks and Gonsalves lands awkwardly on his head and neck on the mat! Geoff Penzer: Counter by El Stravito! Ace Watson stands upright, looking at his downed partner. He turns towards El Stravito-- and is caught with a Spinning Roundhouse Kick to the face, earning a pop from the audience at the loud sound the connection makes! The impact sends Watson through the ropes and to the outside! Geoff Penzer: Roundhouse right between the eyes of Ace Watson! El Stravito needs to make a tag-- no-- look! El Stravito walks toward his corner where Risky reaches out an arm… but Owen Gonsalves rolls him up from behind with the La Magistral! The ref drops into perfect position to count the shoulders to the canvas! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . Kickout! Both men roll over their shoulders and to their feet simultaneously! Gonsalves nails a hard European Uppercut that turns El Stravito all the way around… and the Luchador follows up with a violent Lariat that flips Gonsalves onto his stomach! Geoff Penzer: Strike after strike! Both men need to make a tag! Lyle Risky is fresh but Ace Watson is making his way back to the apron! ”WE WANT RISKY!”
”WE WANT RISKY!”
”WE WANT RISKY!” El Stravito crawls to his corner… but Owen Gonsalves reaches the fingertips of Ace Watson first! The ref signals that the tag has been made and Watson rushes into the ring, dropping an elbow across the back of Stravito, glancing up at Risky as he does so. Risky shakes his head and shouts something that the network mutes-- much to the delight of those in the first few rows! Watson shrugs at Risky as El Stravito rises to his feet… and Watson pivots, drilling El Stravito with a European Uppercut! He shoots the ropes and nails a second one, taking the masked Grappler to the mat! Watson hooks both legs for a cover! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . Kickout! El Stravito sits upright, but Watson pulls him slightly up moreso by the bottom of his mask and nails another European Uppercut, taking the Luchador back to the canvas! Watson hooks both legs again! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . Kickout!Geoff Penzer: Shootcamp is obviously known for more of a straight, hard-hitting, no-nonsense style and that’s evident here. There’s not much fanfare. It seem pretty obvious that these fans are excited to see Lyle Risky compete alongside El Stravito but Gonsalves and Watson aren’t phased by it. It’s full-speed all the way ahead. And now Watson’s got El Stravito back up in a neutral corner here. Watson nails the cornered Stravito with a series of right and left elbows at seemingly random intervals, making it difficult for the referee to start a count. A fourth elbow rocks Stravito and Watson goes for a shoot kick to the ribs, but the Luchador blocks it and throws a desperation elbow of his own, but a chop across the chest from Watson knocks him back into the corner (and an obligatory ”WOOOO!” from Philadelphia). Watson hits a stiff elbow to the temple, but again Stravito nails one of his own-- before nailing a Snap Suplex into the corner! Geoff Penzer: Whoa! What a vicious Suplex! Watson shakily gets up, reaching his feet at the same time El Stravito does-- and El Stravito delivers a Reverse Discus Elbow! Watson falls to the mat and the audience roars behind the masked Grappler! Risky stomps his feet, rallying behind his partner as El Stravito falls into a cover, weakly hooking the near leg of Ace Watson! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . TH--! Watson kicks out! Gonsalves can be seen in the background, halfway into the ropes with a worried look on his face. He steps back onto the apron while El Stravito begins crawling toward Risky and the audience begins a rhythmic clap, rallying behind him! Geoff Penzer: And this might be El Stravito’s best shot! El Stravito pulls himself across the ring on his hands and knees, looking toward Risky. Another ”RISKY!” chant begins in the front few rows… but Ace Watson is able to pull himself up against the ropes and rush at the Luchador, diving to hit him with a European Uppercut with his fingertips inches from Risky’s! Some cheer the move but many in the audience groan in disappointment. Watson yanks Stravito to the center of the ring before stumbling to his own corner and tagging in Owen. Owen rushes in and immediately hoists El Stravito in the Wheelbarrow position while Risky paces on the apron. Geoff Penzer: What’s gonna happen here? Watson steps forward and slams the masked Grappler into the mat with a DDT-- but Owen holds onto the Wheelbarrow position! Geoff Penzer: Assisted DDT by Ace Watson but Owen’s still got a hold of El Stravito! The audience grows loud and Risky looks on in near-disbelief as Owen steps backwards and launches El Stravito overhead with a Wheelbarrow Suplex into the corner! El Stravito clutches the back of his head, bouncing to the mat and Owens hooks his arms, rolling him over for a Crucifix pin! Geoff Penzer: A Wheelbarrow Suplex into the corner-- some retribution for his tag team partner there and now a cover by Gonsalves! Shootcamp could be advancing! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . TH--! The audience pops for El Stravito as he throws the shoulder up. Geoff Penzer: To the relief of Lyle Risky and many here in Philadelphia, El Stravito stays alive! Gonsalves mounts the kneeling Stravito and grabs his arm, pulling it upwards in an awkward ankle, pulling at his fingers to a groan from the crowd… but Stravito rolls him up for a Schoolboy! ONE . . . . Geoff Penzer: Gonsalves rolls out of it, but now he’s got that Cross Armbar locked in! El Stravito rolls through and up to his knees, yet Gonsalves refuses to let go! He follows the Luchador up to his feet and Stravito slaps Gonsalves’ arm down with force and delivers a roundhouse kick that stuns him! Stravito grunts and goes for a Lariat to follow up, but Gonsalves grabs that arm and hits a jumping Double Knee Armbreaker! There is a mixed reaction that surges through the audience. The dazed Gonsalves crawls to a neutral corner to gather his bearings. ”WE WANT RISKY!”
”WE WANT RISKY!”
”WE WANT RISKY!” Risky yells for El Stravito to crawl to him. El Stravito reaches a knee and Owen Gonsalves charges at full-speed across the ring for a European Uppercut… ...but El Stravito side-steps him and sends him through the turnbuckles, shoulder-first into the ring post! Geoff Penzer: Gonsalves is a fan-favorite but Philadelphia is grateful for the opening El Stravito just provided! Shoulder-first into the post goes Owen Gonsalves and suddenly, El Stravito’s idol Lyle Risky is the only fresh man in the match! El Stravito crawls toward Risky while Owen Gonsalves pulls himself back into the ring, clutching his shoulder in agony. Gonsalves scoots across the canvas toward Ace Watson… and with his good arm, he reaches out, making the tag. Geoff Penzer: Tag on the Shootcamp side! And… El Stravito dives and makes the tag to Risky to a roar from the crowd! Geoff Penzer: TAG TO RISKY! Watson enters the ring and sprints to Risky’s corner-- but Risky, in one fluid motion, pulls himself onto the top turnbuckle and leaps off with a Tornado DDT, spiking the oncoming Watson into the mat! Watson flips onto his feet from the sheer impact and momentum of the maneuver. Risky kips up as well and turns Watson around, delivering the Jackhammer! Geoff Penzer: Risky with a Tornado DDT worth charging money to look at and then the Jerk… uh… the Jackhammer! But here comes Owen Gonsalves, another man with nothing but disdain for Lyle Risky after the words “Riskodamus” had about his team and, more importantly, his wife! Gonsalves hits Risky with a vicious Clothesline, knocking the veteran roughly to the mat. Owen turns around and forces Risky back up-- but he’s met with a Headscissors Takedown! Owen hops up again... only to be taken down with a Snap Hurricanrana! The audience pops for the move and the wide-eyed Owen turns around, climbing up to his feet, but as he strides at Risky, he’s hit with the modified Ura-Nage, a Rock Bottom! Geoff Penzer: Going Downtown! Owen clutches his head and rolls out of the ring! Risky turns around as Ace Watson charges him-- and Risky grabs his arm, bringing him down to the mat in a Crossface! The audience erupts! Geoff Penzer: Lyle Risky, making up major ground, putting on a clinic here in Philadelphia! Shootcamp is in trouble now because Ace Watson’s locked in that Crossface! Watson grunts, stretching his arm out for the bottom rope. He uses his elbows and forearms to drag himself across the canvas. The referee asks if Watson will submit but receives “NO!” as a response. Watson reaches out for the ropes, just inches away. He groans loudly… but Owen Gonsalves pulls himself up onto the apron. He shoots a kick into the ring, catching Risky between the eyes, knocking him off of Ace! Clutching the bridge of his nose, Risky stands up and Ace does the same, nailing a vicious European Uppercut! Risky stumbles back but nails a forearm to the jaw and leaps up for a Hurricanrana-- but the slightly larger Watson plants him with a Powerbomb and flips into the jackknife cover! ONE . . . . TWO . . . Geoff Penzer: EL STRAVITOOO! The Luchador nails a Springboard Dropkick right to the ribcage of Watson! The sheer momentum sends Watson flying across the ring! Stravito charges him, but Watson side-steps and sends Stravito out to the apron before pulling him back in by the mask and turning him over into an inverted facelock. Geoff Penzer: What’s Watson thinking?! Owen Gonsalves scales to the top turnbuckle and leaps off with a Frog Splash across the exposed sternum of Stravito while Watson crashes down with the Inverted DDT! Watson instinctively goes for the cover but the ref reminds him that Stravito isn’t the legal man! Geoff Penzer: Risky is legal! LOOK! Risky runs at the rising Watson and contorts himself around him before nailing the Crucifix Driver! Geoff Penzer: Banana Split! Cover! Risky stacks himself on top of Watson, pinning his body weight atop his shoulders while the ref makes the count! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . THRE-! Owen Gonsalves is able to rush into the ring and nail a running, diving European Uppercut to Risky, knocking him off of his partner! Geoff Penzer: What a back-and-forth! The live Chicago audience comes alive in ovation for the teams. The referee manages to get Gonsalves out of the ring and to the apron. Owen crawls to his corner and Risky crawls to his feet in the center of the ring. Ace Watson turns around-- and immediately cracks Risky with an Enzuigiri out of nowhere! Risky falls to the mat and Watson rolls on top of him, hooking both legs! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . TH--! Geoff Penzer: That was pure instinct, pure desperation by Watson! Not quite enough! After all the harsh words these guys exchanged on Twitter, you know neither one wants to be bested by their opposition in the center of the ring here in the third-ever Dynamic Duos tournament! Ace Watson slaps the canvas and stands upright, beginning to walk to his partner-- but Risky nails a Drop Toehold and transitions into a Crossface! The audience roars and Watson cries out, stuck in the move for a second time! Watson reaches out for the ropes but they’re too far! He plants a foot into the canvas and rolls through, trying to free himself, but Risky brings him back down into the Crossface! Geoff Penzer: Watson’s caught with the Crossface again! Watson crawls for his partner’s outstretched hand instead! Owen reaches as far over the ropes as he can… but Risky breaks the hold and stands up, dragging Watson back cross the ring by the ankle to his own corner, allowing Stravito to tag himself in! El Stravito slingshots himself over the ropes with a Leg Drop to the base of the neck! Watson cries out and staggers up to his feet! He turns to face Stravito and eats a roundhouse kick to the jaw! Geoff Penzer: THE SOUND! Watson is clearly shaken, but a kick to the sternum sends him to his knees! Stravito shoots the ropes and rebounds with a Hurricanrana Facebuster! Watson goes limp and Stravito pushes him onto his back, hooking the far leg! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . THRE-! Watson weakly throws the shoulder up and the crowd explodes! Stravito lowers his head, breathing heavily. Geoff Penzer: What. A. Match. El Stravito rises upright, leans back, and perhaps out of frustration roars into the air, earning a deep roar from Philly as well! He steps out to the apron and quickly ascends to the top turnbuckle! Owen Gonsalves moves across the apron-- but El Stravito leaps off, nailing a Missile Dropkick to Gonsalves, knocking him to his back on the apron! In the same motion, Stravito turns and nails a Flying DDT to Watson, crushing him face-first to the mat! The audience comes alive, counting along with the ref while the Luchador makes the cover! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . THRRRE--! Geoff Penzer: Kickout by Ace Watson! My God! Even Risky looks shocked at the kickout as the audience applauds the action. El Stravito looks toward the veteran for support but Risky can only shrug and extend his hand, earning a roar of approval from the audience. El Stravito nods and groggily approaches his corner, tagging in Lyle Risky! The audience explodes and Risky enters the ring! Ace Watson reaches his knees and Risky grabs him by the jaw! Philly has reached a fever pitch and Risky gets right in the face of his newfound rival… but looks taken aback as Owen Gonsalves slides into the ring under the bottom rope and springs to his feet, running past Risky! He runs all the way to Risky’s corner, full-speed, and smashes into El Stravito with a European Uppercut, knocking him off the apron! Geoff Penzer: What a sickening shot! Risky looks back over his shoulder, shouting expletives at Gonsalves-- but Owen rushes at Risky and nails him with a stiff European Uppercut as well, throwing himself to the mat! Owen’s own momentum sends him flying out of the ring and violently to the floor below but Ace Watson locks in a Full Nelson and leaps up, hitting a Backstabber on Risky! He pushes him over onto the cover! Geoff Penzer: The Replay by Ace Watson! ONE . . . . TWO . . . . THREE! Geoff Penzer: Owen sacrificed himself for the team! The bell sounds and the audience erupts as Watson reaches his knees. Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners… SHOOOOTCAMP! Owen slides into the ring and Ace helps him upright as their music hits. The ref allows them to gather their bearings before raising their arms into the air. Both men fall to their knees in exhaustion… and the audience erupts into ovation for both teams. Geoff Penzer: This was heated. This was personal. But this was a clinic. In the end, maybe ring rust got the best of Lyle Risky, but that was a hard-earned, hard-fought battle by Shootcamp. Remarkable. We fade to black on the exhausted victors, Owen Gonsalves and Ace Watson. ★★★ COMMERCIAL BREAK ★★★

DYNAMIC DUOS TOURNAMENT - SECOND ROUND Upper Echelon vs. Blonde Ambition The lights go dim as the first drum beats of “Believer” by Imagine Dragons start. As the music kicks up, a single purple spotlight hits the stage, and the silhouette of Heather Lasiewicz is seen dancing. The camera gets a close-up and she’s seen clearly singing the first lines of the song with the music. “First things first, Imma say all the words inside my head
I’m fired up and tired of the way that things have been, ooooohhhh
The way that things have been, ooooh”As she sings, she slinks towards the ring, the spotlight following her every step. Her body sways naturally to the beat of the song, acting out the words of the song as it plays out through the arena. The song cuts to the pause before the chorus as she hops up onto the ring apron. She slowly unbuttons her ring jacket, swaying her hips to the music. Melanie Sierra: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a Second Round match in the 2017 Dynamic Duos Tournament! Introducing first, from Austin, Texas! She is “The Golden Rose”... HEATHER LASIEWICZ!!! “PAIN!!!!”As the singer yells out the word, she lets the jacket fall. ”You make me a, you make a believer! Believer!”Heather grabs the ropes and lets herself fall back in a burlesque style dance move. She uses this momentum to hop onto the bottom rope, in turn using that momentum to flip herself over the top rope and into the ring. The lights come back fully as she walks around the ring, soaking in the noise of the crowd and mentally prepping for her match as the music fades out. Geoff Penzer: Heather Lasiewicz along with her partner Savannah Taylor knocked off the former World Tag Team Champions in the first round of the Dynamic Duos tournament. The two of them have to be feeling pretty good about their chances heading into their second round matchup. There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper. Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you. On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage. Inside me a light was turned on… The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies. Then I was alive! In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body. Melanie Sierra: And her partner, from Las Vegas, Nevada! She is the reigning FGA Pride Champion… SAVANNAH TAYLOR!!! If you close your eyes your life, A naked truth revealed Dreams you never lived, And scars never healed Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do. In the darkness, light will take you to the other side You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. Taking the championship belt from around her waist, she hands it to the referee. She then stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon. Geoff Penzer: Savannah Taylor has got Chris Madison lined up for a Pride Title defense at “Trouble in Paradise.” Madison hasn’t minced words in the aftermath of his loss to Taylor. But Taylor can’t concentrate on Madison. She has to focus on the task at hand, which is getting past the Upper Echelon. As the scene fades back at ringside, the lighting goes pitch black as “Upper Echelon” by. Travis Scott feat. T.I. & 2 Chainz fades in. On the titantron a series of animal faces flash on the screen. As the horn sounds the lights being to flash like strobe lights until the actual song hits. Pull out the zip, pull out the ride (roll out) We so high, upper echelon (Straight up) We so fuckin' high, upper echelon The camera pans down at the stage and there stood the duo of thee Upper Echelon, Emilio Vialpando & Jinzai! In the middle of them was their manager Tony Capone. Pull out the zip, pull out the ride (roll out) We so high, upper echelon (Straight up) We so fuckin' high, upper echelon
The three men looked out to the crowd listening to their mixtures of cheers and boos. Emilio and Jinzai look at one another nodding symbolizing they was ready. The two speed demon duo sprints down the ramp and slide into the ring while Capone calmly walks down the ramp ignoring the fans on his way down. Melanie Sierra: On their way to the ring….At an combined weight of 395 pounds and both standing at 6 feet tall...The Snake & The Dragon…...Emilio Vialpando & Jinzai…UPPER ECHELON!!!!! Both Emilio and Jinzai sprint over corner turnbuckles across from one another taunting the fans. They hop back down and move to the next turnbuckles doing the same. As Capone reaches the ring he applauds the two men. After they hop down from the turnbuckles they head over to their corner and talk with Capone until the match begins. Geoff Penzer: This team has this capacity crowd split right down the middle. Emilio Vialpando is one of the most captivating wrestlers the world has seen over the last several years. So it’s no wonder that he gets cheered everywhere he goes. Jinzai used to get those cheers. But his recent shift in attitude had soured the fanbase on him. Even though the fans are against him, Emilio is still standing by his familia. The bell sounds as Vialpando and Taylor start things off with a lock up. Taylor quickly gains the advantage with a side headlock. After cinching in the hold, Taylor performs a standing switch and transitions into a hammerlock from behind. The ref asks Vialpando if he wants to give up. But Vialpando refuses. He then reaches back with his free arm, grabs Taylor and throws her down in front of him with a snapmare. After Taylor scrambles back to her feet, Vialpando slaps on a side headlock. Taylor then moves Vialpando into the ropes before shoving him off into the far ropes. Vialpando then rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses back into an arm wrench. The crowd cheers when he returns the favor by delivering several slaps to the back of the head. Geoff Penzer: Vialpando took exception to that show of disrespect from Taylor and gave it right back to her! Taylor runs towards the corner, runs up to the top turnbuckle, jumps off and brings Vialpando down with a flying arm drag. As Vialpando gets back to his feet, Taylor runs over and connects with a dropkick, knocking him into the corner. After Taylor gets back up, she marches into the corner and delivers a stinging knife edge chop. Taylor follows up with five more chops before going for an irish whip. But Vialpando reverses, sending her into the corner. He then charges across the ring to attack. But Taylor catches him with a boot to the face. After Vialpando turns around, Taylor comes out of the corner and goes for a bulldog. But Vialpando shoves her off into the ropes. When Taylor returns, Vialpando throws her down with a japanese arm drag. Vialpando returns to his feet and throws her down with another japanese arm drag. As Taylor gets back to her feet, Vialpando runs over and connects with a dropkick, knocking her through the ropes and to the floor. Geoff Penzer: The Pride Champ has been sent to the outside! Is El Serpiente about to take it to the air? While Taylor stirs on the mat, Vialpando waves his arms up and down to hype up the crowd. When Taylor pulls herself up using the edge of the apron, Vialpando turns and runs into the ropes. But Lasiewicz yanks down the top rope, sending Vialpando falling over the top rope and landing her on the floor. The crowd erupts with boos! Geoff Penzer: Did you hear the impact from that fall? My goodness! While Vialpando writhes in pain on the floor, Taylor rolls back in and taunts Jinzai before making her way across the ring. She then steps out onto the apron and waves up Vialpando. Wen El Serpiente returns to his feet, Taylor knocks him down with an Asai Moonsault. Geoff Penzer: Picture perfect moonsault there by Taylor takes out Serpiente! Taylor goes over and tags Lasiewicz. Once Lasiewicz gets in, she picks up Vialpando and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. But Vialpando reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Lasiewicz returns, Vialpando sets up for a back body drop. But Lasiewicz hurdles over him before running into the ropes. The crowd boos as Jinzai gets in and takes control of the arm. Jinzai wrenches the arm several times before bringing Lasiewicz down with an arm drag. He then transitions into a kneeling armbar. The ref gets down and asks Lasiewicz if she wants to give up. But she refuses. After battling back to a vertical base, she uses her free arm to move Jinzai into the ropes, forcing the ref to start a five count. Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR… As soon as Jinzai lets go, Lasiewicz blasts him with a European Uppercut. She then takes Jinzai and whips him into the far ropes. When Jinzai returns, Lasiewicz knocks him down with a calf kick. She makes the cover. ONE! . . TWO! . . Jinza kicks out. Lasiewicz brings Jinzai back to his feet and whips him into the ropes.
