The scene shifts to an outside shot of Staples Center in Los Angeles, California! We then transition inside the arena, where red and white fireworks shoot off in various patterns. We then head to a wide shot of the arena. The camera pans around, capturing the rabid crowd.

Kris Cruise: Hello everyone wellllcome to Night Two of AAAALLL-STAAARRRR SHOWDOWWWWWN SIX! I am Kris Cruise and joining me as always is my colleague, Stephy Auger! Stephy, last night, we had a lot of shocking twists and turns here on Pay Per View. But we’re back for more here on Night Two!

Stephy Auger: Yes we are. Last night, all three championships that were on the line changes hands. The Elysian Empire, Macy Dover and AMIRA walked into this very building as champions. But they didn’t walk out as champions, Cruise.

Kris Cruise: That trend has got to be making both Chris Madison and Izzy Anders a bit nervous, don’t you agree?

Stephy Auger: If I were them, it would be something that I’d make note of. But just because all the champions lost last night, that doesn’t mean that they’re going to lose here tonight.

Kris Cruise: Both champions could very well retain their championships hereon Night Two of All-Star Showdown Six Weekend. But they’re facing some hungry challengers. Let’s talk about the Pride Championship match first, when Savannah Taylor challengers Chris Madison for his title.

Stephy Auger: Everyone wants to make note of how many times Taylor has come up short in FGA championship matches. But I feel like tonight is her night. She’s been on this stage before. She’s been a champion before in multiple promotions. She knows what it takes to defeat tough champions. I think that the Las Vegas Siren puts it all together tonight. Not to mention, Taylor’s got some added motivation after Madison decided to make things personal with some of his comments two weeks ago. Madison should have watched his mouth. Or instead, he should have kept doing what he always does and let Frankie Morrison do all the talking for him. Tonight, that mistake could come back to bite him.

Kris Cruise: Then in the main event, Johnny Karma challenges Izzy Anders for the FGA Undisputed Championship. You want to talk about personal? It doesn’t get more personal than this one right here. Four months ago, Anders stole a win from Karma at Grapple Kingdom thanks to Taylor. Two months later, Izzy screwed Cordy Stevenson out of the FGA Undisputed Championship. Her and Taylor then attacked Karma before taking out Stevenson. In the building to this matchup, Anders assaulted Karma’s close friend, Cherry Baum, putting her out of action. Then there was the distasteful remarks that Anders made towards Karma’s deceased grandfather. Over the last few weeks, Anders has been able to hide behind a clause that stated that Karma couldn’t touch her before tonight or else the title match would be off. Tonight? There’s going to be nothing holding Karma back. Six months of anger and frustration are going to let out on Anders here tonight. I think every fan in this building will agree that Anders is going to get what’s coming to her tonight.

But that’s not all! We’ve also got the Grudge Match between Evan Envi and Noelle Smith! A Triple Threat Tag Team Number One Contenders Match! We’ve got a Six Man Tag Team Match between rivals Owen Gonsalves and Ricky Valero! Plus the third match in the trilogy between James Edwards and Mark Storm! But right now, we’re kicking things off with the classic tale of David vs. Goliath as Susan Kent rematches against Hércules Cortez. So right now, let’s send it over into the ring where J.A. Aldridge is ready to kick things off with tonight’s in-ring introductions…

Susan Kent vs. Hércules Cortez

Susan appears on the stage and uses her hand to fans the crowd, she walks to the ring shaking hands with the fans, she climbs the ropes from the outside and waves to the fans, then climbs down into her corner and waits for her opponent.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Wichita, Kansas… SUUUUSAAAAN KENT!!!

Kris Cruise: Several weeks ago, Kent was able to get the surprise victory over Hércules Cortez via countout. Since that time, Cortez has been on a path of destruction.

Stephy Auger: Cortez’s debut was ruined by that loss to Kent. Ever since then, he’s destroyed everyone that’s been put in his path and he wasn’t going to stop until he got his chance at Kent again.

Kris Cruise: Kent’s giving up A LOT of size and strength in this matchup. You have to wonder if she made a mistake accepting this rematch.

Stephy Auger: I don’t think there’s anything to wonder at all. It’s a huge mistake. She should have just been happy with the lucky win she got by countout. But by willingly stepping back into the ring with someone like Cortez, she’s putting herself in harm’s way.

The marching sound of “Legio XIII” intro fills up the arena as the lights begin to flicker. Then, out of the curtain comes Hércules Cortez. He stands in the middle of the stage looking sideways to the crowd as he begins a march down to the ring.

J.A. Aldridge: And her opponent, from Bariloche, Argentina! Weighing in at 265 pounds! He is “The Legionary” HEEEEEERCULEEES CORRRRRTEZZZZZ!!!

Once in front of the apron he swiftly moves towards the staircase, he hits the top of the staircase and runs towards the ropes. He surveys the crowd once more as he enters the ring, extending his arms as he exhales.

Kris Cruise: The Legionary has continued to rise through the 15 Championship ranks as he’s defeated opponent after opponent since his loss to Kent several weeks ago. But tonight isn’t about improving his chances at getting a title opportunity. He wants to exact revenge on Kent in the worst way.

Stephy Auger: He wants to beat her down, Cruise. He wants to rearrange her face. Hércules Cortez wants to destroy Susan Kent! Look at the difference in size. As soon as he gets those big mitts on her, it’s over!

The bell sounds as Cortez marches over and tries to get his hands on Kent. But Kent is being wise to keep her distance from The Legionary. Kent continues to circle on the outside while Cortez continues to try and get closer to her. As his frustration grows, Cortez lunges forward to attack. But Kent ducks out of the way. Cortez turns around and marches over towards Kent. The Kansas native moves to her left. But Cortez cuts her off. She then moves to her right. But again, Cortez cuts her off. Kent then feints to her left, then goes to the right. But again, Cortez cuts her off. The crowd boos while Cortez barks insults at Kent. His eyes widen once Kent has accidentally backed herself into a corner.

Kris Cruise: Kent just trapped herself in the corner!

Cortez points at Kent before motioning that he’s going to break her in half. The Legionary then lunges forward at Kent. But once again, Kent ducks. When Cortez turns around, the crowd cheers when Kent nails him with a series of hard left hands. She then goes for an irish whip. But Cortez uses his free arm to grab onto the top rope. Kent then squats down as she tries for another irish whip. But again, Cortez blocks the irish whip. He then grabs Kent, tosses her into the corner and lunges at her. But again, Kent ducks. When Cortez turns around, the crowd cheers when he gets caught with another series of hard left hooks. Kent then takes Cortez, brings him from out of the corner and goes for an irish whip. But Cortez reverses, sending Kent into the far ropes. When Kent returns, she slides through Cortez’s legs. When Cortez turns around, Kent returns to her feet and connects with a dropkick, knocking Cortez back. Kent gets back to her feet before running into the ropes. When Kent returns, the crowd cheers when she connects with another dropkick, knocking Cortez back. The cheers continue as Kent runs back into the ropes. When she returns, the cheers turn to boos when Cortez runs her over with a running shoulder block.

Kris Cruise: Just like that, Cortez takes control of this contest.

Stephy Auger: That’s all it takes, Cruise.

Cortez picks up Kent and flings her into the nearest corner. He then charges into the corner before connecting with a running clothesline. Kent begins to stagger out of the corner. But Cortez reaches out, grabs her by the throat and shoves her back into the corner. The boos continue as Cortez unleashes a series of back elbow strikes, followed by a series of knee strikes, followed by a series of shoulder thrusts. Cortez then steps back and chokes Kent with his foot. The ref goes over and gives him until a count of five to break the choke.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

As soon as Cortez lets go, Kent leans forward as she gasps for air. Cortez then grabs her by the hair with one hand before flinging her towards the center of the ring. As Kent returns to her feet, Cortez rushes over and connects with a front dropkick, sending Kent flying backwards into the corner. She then bounces off the turnbuckles before falling to the canvas. The boos continue as Cortez marches over, kicks Kent over onto her back and puts his foot on her chest for the cover.

Offended that Kent had the gall to kickout, Cortez reaches down with one hand, latches onto Kent’s neck and yanks her back to her feet. He then hoists her up for a chokeslam. But Kent elbows him in the face on the way up. After Kent drops back down, she runs into the ropes. When Kent returns, she goes for a crossbody block. But Cortez catches her in mid air.

Kris Cruise: This isn’t good, Stephy.

Stephy Auger: No it’s not. Cortez is about to chuck her all the way up into the cheap seats!

Cortez shakes his head as he carries Kent around the ring. He then hoists Kent up onto his shoulders before bringing her down with a Samoan Drop. The boos continues as he turns over and makes the cover.

Cortez yanks up Kent and doubles her over with a knee strike to the midsection. He then swats Kent down with a clubbing strike across the back of the neck. Cortez then reaches down, latches onto the back of Kent’s neck with one hand and yanks her back to her feet. He then lifts her up before throwing her down with a reverse chokeslam. He then kicks Kent over onto her back before placing his foot on her chest for the cover.

Kris Cruise: Cortez is just throwing her around with ease!

Stephy Auger: I told you this was a bad idea...

Cortez yanks Kent up before whipping her into the ropes. When Kent returns, Cortez flattens her with a boot to the face. He then reaches down, yanks Kent back up by the hair and turns her inside out with a short-arm clothesline. Cortez yanks Kent back up, only to send her back down with a headbutt. Cortez reaches back down, yanks Kent back up by the hair and whips her into the corner. After her back connects with the turnbuckles, Kent crumbles from out of the corner. Cortez walks over, yanks Kent back up by the hair and whips her into the opposite corner. Cortez then rushes into the corner, but Kent knocks him back with a boot to the face. After shaking off the blow, Cortez runs back into the corner. But Kent knocks him back with another boot to the face. After shaking off the blow, Cortez runs right back into the corner. Kent goes for another boot to the face. But this time, Cortez catches her foot.

Cortez yanks Kent from out of the corner, sending her flying towards the center of the ring. As Kent slowly turns over and gets back to her feet, Cortez charges across the ring to attack. But Kent counters with a drop toe hold. While Cortez is on all fours, Kent runs into the ropes. When she returns, the crowd cheers when she connects with a front dropkick to the side of the head, knocking him down.

Kris Cruise: This is Kent’s opening right here! Can she follow up?

As Cortez gets back up on all fours, Kent runs towards the ropes, hops onto the middle rope and flips back, connecting with a Lionsault. Kent struggles to push Cortez over and makes the cover.

Cortez shoves Kent off of him. Kent does a double take as she’s shocked at how easy Cortez pushed her off of him.

As Cortez tries to get up, Kent runs back over and nails him with a series of backhand chops. She then runs into the ropes. When Kent returns, Cortez throws out a clothesline. But Kent ducks and stops. When Cortez turns around, the crowd cheers as he gets caught with a spinning heel kick.

While Cortez tries to shake off the blow, Kent grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Cortez reverses, sending Kent into the ropes. When Kent returns, she delivers a running hurricanrana, sending Cortez staggering into the corner. Kent heads into the corner, turns Cortez around and unleashes another series of backhand chops. After moving Cortez to the side, she climbs up onto the middle ropes, places Cortez in a front facelock and goes for a Tornado DDT. But before Kent can plant him with the DDT, Cortez stops her and reverses with a release northern lights suplex into the turnbuckles. The crowd boos as he drags Kent from out of the corner and makes the cover.

The crowd cheers when Kent gets her shoulder up.

Cortez picks up Kent and whips her into the corner. He then charges across the ring and goes for a corner body avalanche. But Kent moves out of the way, causing Cortez to crash into the turnbuckles to cheers from the crowd. While Cortez stumbles back, Kent runs into the ropes. When she returns, Cortez hoists her into the air and catches her in a Bear Hug on the way down.

Kris Cruise: Cortez has her trapped in a bear hug!

Stephy Auger: Kent mind as well quit now before Cortez breaks every last one of her ribs.

The crowd boos while Cortez tries to squeeze the life out of Kent. The ref asks Kent if she wants to give up. But a fading Kent refuses. After hearing the refusal, Cortez squeezes even tighter before swinging Kent from side to side.

Cortez continues while the crowd starts up a chant for the Kansas native.

Crowd: LET’S GO SUSAN!!! 👏👏, 👏👏👏 LET’S GO SUSAN!!! 👏👏, 👏👏👏 LET’S GO SUSAN!!! 👏👏, 👏👏👏

The ref checks with Kent and asks if she wants to give up. But Kent doesn’t respond. So the ref asks her again. But again, he doesn’t get a response. So the ref raises Kent’s arm and let’s go. The arm falls. The ref then raises Kent’s arm again and let’s go. Once Kent’s arm falls, the crowd sighs as Cortez’s eyes widen.

Stephy Auger: It’s all but over, Cruise. Cue up his music...

The ref raises Kent’s arm a third time and let’s go. The arm falls.

… but stops halfway down, only to slowly raise back up, which elicits cheers and applause from the crowd.

Kris Cruise: No, it’s not over! Not just yet! There’s still some fight left in Susan Kent!

Kent takes the arm and begins punching Cortez in the face. She continues to hammer away at Cortez before nailing him with five bell clap to the ears. The last clap to the ears causes Cortez to drop her. While Cortez holds his ears in pain, Kent nails him with three kicks to the midsection before bringing him down with a sitout facebuster. The cheers continue as she struggles to push Cortez over before making the cover.

Cortez shoves Kent off of him.

While Cortez gets back to his feet, Kent steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and connects with a missile dropkick. But the move only knocks Cortez back. So she heads out onto the apron, scales top the top turnbuckle in another corner and goes for a flying crossbody block. But Cortez catches her in mid air.

Cortez sneers before hoisting Kent up across his shoulders. But before he can deliver a move, Kent elbows him repeatedly in the head. After she slips down from behind, Kent turns him around, leaps up and delivers a Codebreaker, sending Cortez stumbling back.

Kris Cruise: Kent hit him with those double knees to the face! She’s got him reeling!

Kent heads into the corner behind Cortez and climbs up onto the middle ropes. After shaking off the blow, Cortez turns around. Kent then leaps off the middle ropes and delivers a diving Codebreaker, knocking Cortez down to cheers from the crowd.

Kris Cruise: Kent’s got him down again!

As Cortez gets up, Kent runs up and brings him down to one knee with a dropkick to the knee. After returning to her feet, she nails Cortez with a series of European Uppercuts before hooking his arms and delivering a Pedigree.

Kris Cruise: Kent delivers Star Struck to Cortez!

Kent steps out onto the apron and climbs up to the top turnbuckle. As Cortez gets up on all fours, Kent leaps off and flattens him with the Photo-Op (Frog Splash). The cheers continue as she struggles to push Cortez over before making the cover.

J.A. Aldridge: Here is your winner, SUSAN KENT!

The cheers continue as Kent gets to her feet and gets her arm raised in victory.

Kris Cruise: Susan Kent was able to defy the odds and defeat Hércules Cortez here tonight at All-Star Showdown Six! Cortez tried his best to rag doll her and dismantle her. But Kent was able to overcome the huge disadvantage in size and strength and pick up her first win here on Pay Per View...

The All-Star Showdown Six production cuts to the announce table and focuses in on Kris Cruise who’s flanked by his normal broadcast partner, Stephy Auger. He narrows his eyes and glares at the camera lens pointed directly at him.

Kris Cruise: Earlier tonight, before our broadcast had started, Spencer Burke was out with the production team ensuring that the equipment was together and working. Some of FGA’s wrestlers had begun to file in, one by one. But Spencer was caught off guard when two of those competitors arrived together. Naturally, being the exceptional journalist that he is, Spencer Burke pulled a camera crew and immediately approached them.

The feed cuts from Kris Cruise and the announce table, to a pre-recorded clip from earlier in the day.

[ EARLIER TODAY ]

Off to the side, Spencer Burke is huddled with a few members of FGA’s production team, testing equipment, mulling over notes, and discussing the gameplan for the night’s show. Out of the corner of his eyes, Spencer spots a blacked-out Range Rover pull up near the wrestler’s entrance. Frankie Morrison hops out of the front passenger seat, wearing a navy, two-piece suit. Morrison immediately tugs on the lapels of his jacket and fastens the top button. The rear passenger door pops open and Chris Madison hops out wearing a white tank top, khaki shorts, a baseball cap, and sneakers. The FGA Pride Championship is draped over one shoulder as his duffle bag containing his wrestling gear hangs from the other. Chris moves from the SUV and continues to look back into the truck. Suddenly Mark Storm emerges from around the driver side of the Range Rover, wearing his signature “Your Hero and Mine” t-shirt, black shorts, white sneakers and a duffle bag which has all of his belongings in. Spencer Burke signals for one of the cameramen to follow him. They immediately rush over towards the trio for an impromptu interview.

Spencer Burke: Gentlemen! A few days ago, FGA’s official Twitter page leaked the two of you as a tag team participating in the Dynamic Duo’s tournament. Invictus Fight Club! I have to say, the pair caught me by surprise.

Frankie Morrison: It’s not all that surprising. Chris and Mark have always been vocal about their admiration and respect for one another. In this business, as cutthroat as it can be, it’s not always easy to find someone with the same frame of mind as you. Chris and Mark, they’re motivated by the same desires. You should expect to see these two around each other more often. How’s that old saying go? Iron sharpens iron!

Spencer nods his head, wide eyed and bushy tailed.

Spencer Burke: Hope you don’t mind if I press you guys about your big matches tonight.

Chris Madison: Go ahead, shoot…

Mark Storm: Yeah man, let’s go.

Spencer Burke: Alright! I’ll start with you Mark. We’ve already spoken about your upcoming match with James Edwards but how are you feeling? It’s match day, are you feeling the pressure?

Mark Storm: I’m good Spence. It’s been a long grueling week for myself as well as Madison, but also James as we’ve been competing in the Pride of Puroresu Crown. But me personally, I’m focused Spence. Focused on the task ahead and that’s beating James Edwards. The whole discussion, the whole debate - it comes to an end tonight! Of course there’s a lot of pressure on tonight but that’s what we thrive on, that’s what makes us who we are. Some can’t handle the pressure but me, I’ve made a career from having the world on my shoulders - this match, is no different. All Star Showdown, the granddaddy of them all! It’s a brilliant occasion and I promise you Spence, it’s going to be a match for the ages!

Spencer Burke: I’m sure the two of you won’t leave the fans disappointed.

Spencer turned his attention to Chris Madison, slightly twisting his body towards the FGA Pride Champion.

Spencer Burke: Chris, you’ve got yourself a big match tonight as well, your first title defense against Savannah Taylor. You’ve been pretty vocal about Savannah and her relationship with Izzy Anders. How concerned are you that she’ll influence the outcome of this match in some fashion?

Chris Madison: I’ve been pretty lucky going into tonight. When it comes to the two of them as a pair, their sights have been set on paving an easier path for Izzy, not Savannah. I can’t sit here and worry about what-ifs. Savannah Taylor proved that she’s a worthy competitor. She earned this shot and no one can take that away from her. But earning the shot doesn’t automatically crown you the champion. I’m a completely different hurdle that she needs to overcome.

Spencer Burke: You two have met in the ring on a few different occasions, all of which were tag team matches. Despite the familiarity that you guys have with one another, in none of those instances did either of you earn a win by beating the other.

Chris Madison: I guess that’ll change tonight, won’t it? Savannah is more than capable of beating anyone in FGA. Don’t believe me? It was only a few weeks back that she pinned Johnny Karma in the center of the ring. Realistically, she could go down there tonight, and completely shock the world. And most importantly, she has the right motivation to do it. She’s sick and tired of being overlooked, being known as Izzy Anders’s sidekick. She may not have a better opportunity to silence her critics than she we will tonight. Unfortunately for her, her best opportunity involves staring down a man whose greatest joy in life is getting involved in fights that are best described as wars. Tonight… Savannah Taylor gets hit with the harsh reality that earning doesn’t make her deserving!

Madison pats the FGA Pride Championship resting on his shoulder before walking off with Mark Storm standing side by side and Frankie Morrison following closely behind. The cameraman trails around Spencer Burke and gets a final shot of him watching the trio walk off towards the entrance to the Staples Center.

TRIPLE THREAT TAG TEAM MATCH
Pedro Gonzales & Maritza Diaz vs. Serpent's Touch vs. Through Diamond Eyes

El Jefe begins to play to a pretty damn good reaction considering exactly who's about to come down to the ring.

Or rather, who SHOULD go down to the ring.

For a few minutes, nothing happens. The song starts again. Still nothing. Just as hope seems lost (not to mention one less tag team to fight through to be contenders), crewmen frantically run from the back to the ramp via a side entrance. It is soon clear why.

The last guy runs at a breakneck speed as a giant tank recklessly rumbles forward. It is painted in a black camo pattern which would be kinda stealthy were it not on something so massive. The Bueno Club logo on the side doesn't help. Mercifully, it stops within inches of potentially running over the entrance way. With a bang, the cannon shoots out a mega ton of confetti as a new song begins to play.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is a Triple Threat Number One Contenders Match! Introducing first, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 290 pounds! They are the team of PEDROOOO GOOOONZALESSSS and MARRRRRITZAAAA DIIIIIAZZ!!!

As Caravan Palace's "Mighty" begins, two figures pop out of the heavy machine. Maritza Diaz takes the smart route by leaving from the side door while Pedro Gonzales, looking like a five--or is it six?--star general pops out from the top and slides down to the floor. Their feet land at the same time and after a quick kiss, soaks in the fan's support as they enter the ring.

Once in the ring, Pedro takes off the jacket and rips off his breakaway pants. The color of their assorted match attire matching the tank's patterns is not lost on eagle eyed viewers at home as they warm up.

Kris Cruise: On the final 3GW shoe, Pedro Gonzales and his then-tag partner El Grandé Malo won the Tag Team Titles. If he and Maritza Diaz win here tonight, he could be one step closer to winning Tag Titles again.

Stephy Auger: Yes, I’m well aware of how a number one contenders match works. As far as Pedro Gonzales, he has been flapping his gums for the longest time. Tonight, I think all the trash he’s talked is going to come back to bite him.

The lights go out. A lone purple spotlight reveals the silhouettes of Faye Valentine and Kimiko through the smoke covering the stage. Kimiko has her head bowed, wearing a kendo stick on her back and her trademark oni bandana around the bottom half of her face. "Heart Killer" by Gossling begins to play, and The Divine Valentine sings her team's theme as the smoke slowly dissipates around them. Kimiko looks up, and with Faye Valentine right behind her, begins to walk down the ramp to the ring as the lone purple spotlight breaks into several purple spotlights, drowning the arena in a sea of royal blood.

Kimiko's full attention is to the ring as Faye Valentine continues singing their theme, both making their respective ways down the ramp and towards the ring. While Kimiko does not turn to look at the fans, not to anyone, ignore everyone and everything in favor of her full concentration on the task at hand, Faye Valentine dances seductively and flirts with the fans at ringside, clearly enjoying the attention she's getting, and she's getting everyone's attention. Faye Valentine graces a fan at ringside with an intimate touch, sliding the tip of her two fingers across his cheek, as her voice helps him reach ecstacy, but she breaks off mere moments before he reaches nirvana. Faye Valentine smirks at him, leaving him, and the rest of the crowd, always wanting more.

J.A. Aldridge: And their opponents! Introducing first, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 258 pounds! They are the team of Faye Valentine and Kimiko, SERRRRPENNNTS TOOOOOUUUUUCH!!!

Kimiko grabs the middle rope from the floor and hoists herself up the apron. She gets in the ring without any theatrics. Faye Valentine, on the other hand, walks up the steel steps and lingers on the apron, facing the crowd. She dances for a bit before she spins around and inside the ring, straddling the ropes through which she entered the ring, as she continues singing. The crowd dances to their song, latching on to every word that slithers out of her lips. Meanwhile, Kimiko takes to the middle of the ring, bows to each side of the squared circle, and gets down on the mat as she takes the kendo stick from her back. She places the kendo stick right in front of her on the mat and bows to it three times. Finally, as Faye Valentine ends her performance, she whips her hair back and comes back down to the mat, grinning playfully at everyone, including the referee and their opponent. Kimiko gets up, walks to one side of the ring, and once again sits down with her back against the corner ring post, waiting. Faye surrenders her microphone to a stagehand and warms up before the match, another performance, begins.

Kris Cruise: Serpent’s Touch have the support of their good friend Julian Tijerina. But so does Pedro Gonzales, who has become good friends with the Spaniard as of late.

Stephy Auger: You just know that doesn’t sit well with Serpent’s Touch at all. I could imagine Tijerina is caught between a rock and a hard place when it comes to these two teams. One of these days, he’s gonna have to grow a backbone and pick sides. For his sake, he beter pick the right side.

The synthetic intro to “Kill v. Maim” by Grimes fills the arena. The very second Grimes sings: “I got in a fight,” both Avaset Kaiser and Eloria Master emerge from the entrance tunnel. Both of them take in the crowd from the entrance stage. Avaset as a small smirk on her face as she raises her arms, resembling an iconic statue while Eloria seems to show almost no emotion at all. When they begin moving down the entrance ramp, Ava is careful to not allow any of the fans to come in contact with her while Eloria just doesn’t care. Despite any whistles, cat calls, boos, or cheers, Avaset completely blows the fans off while Eloria just completely ignores them.

J.A. Aldridge: And their opponent, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 285 pounds! They are the team of Avaset Kaiser and Eloria Master, TROUGH DIIIIAAAAMOND EEEEEEEEYESSSSS!!!

Thanks to Ava’s faster pace, she makes it to the ring stairs quickly and jogs up them before walking across the apron. Meanwhile, Eloria slides into the ring almost at the same time Ava comes to the center of the apron. Once Ava does her signature rope flip and gets on the ropes to pose, Eloria just kind of gets on the ropes beside her and looks around as Ava poses for the crowd with her arms in the air as flash photography suddenly becomes popular again.

Once they dismount the ropes, Avaset takes their corner and sits on the top turnbuckle with her legs crossed as Eloria kind of backs into the corner in front of her, awaiting the beginning of the match…

Kris Cruise: We know of the back and forth that’s gone on between Serpent’s Touch and the team of Pedro and Maritza. But it seems like the attention has been on those two teams while Through Diamond Eyes have been flying under the radar.

Stephy Auger: They should be. They’re 1-1 against the other two teams in this match just like they are. Any one of these teams could win this.

Kris Cruise: Yes they could. Just like last night, this is a triple threat tag team match. Which means that only two wrestlers will be legal in the ring at any time, but anyone on the the apron can make a legal tag. It doesn’t matter if you’re on the same team or not.

The match begins with Eloria Master and Kimiko starting things off. Both strikers begin circling the ring. As they slowly inch towards each other. Master and Kimo feint several kicks and elbows to try and bait the other into overcommitting and opening themselves up for an attack. Kimiko strikes first, catching Master in the calf with a shoot kick. Master responds with a shoot kick to the side of the knee. Kimiko connects with a shoot kick to the thigh. Master responds with another shoot kick to the side of the knee. Kimiko then steps to the side and throws out a shoot kick to the chest. Master responds by stepping to the side and throwing out a shoot kick of her own to the chest. Kimiko then blasts Master with two more shoot kicks to the chest. Masters comes back and responds with three shoot kicks to the chest. When Kimiko steps off to the side and throws out another shoot kick, Master catches her leg. But Kimiko is able to quickly responds with an enzuigiri, sending Masters stumbling around the ring. When Master turns back to Kimiko, she gets doubled over with a spin kick to the midsection. Seeing her opponent in trouble, the Red Lotus turns and runs into the ropes. When she returns, she throws out the Kusanagi I (running single leg high knee). But Master slides underneath it.

Once Kimiko returns to her feet and turns around, Master runs over and knocks her down with a running knee strike of her own. She makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Master caught Kimiko flush across the face with that running knee, but it only gets a count of two.

Stephy Auger: It only got two. But it might have shaken her up a bit.

Master picks up Kimiko, wrenches her arm and then brings her into the corner before tagging in Avaset Kaiser. The crowd boos as The Crowd Jewel scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and crashes down across Kimiko’s outstretched arm with a double ax handle. She then quickly applies a hammerlock. But Kimiko uses her free arm to hit Kaiser with three elbows to the face, breaking the hold. She then runs into the far ropes. When Kimiko returns, Kaiser throws out a Falcon Kick (yakuza kick). But Kimiko catches her foot. She then swings Kaiser’s leg away from her, grabs her from behind and follows up with a bridging German Suplex.

Kris Cruise: Good counter there by Kimiko with the German Suplex on The Crown Jewel, but it only gets two.

Kimiko picks up Kaiser, runs into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle before tagging Faye Valentine in. Valentine gets in, turns Kaiser around and nails her with three European Uppercuts before following up with a corner springboard side kick. She then takes Kaiser and whips her into the empty corner. Valentine then runs across the ring to attack, but Kaiser knocks her back with a boot to the face. After shaking off the blow, Valentine runs back into the corner, only to get knocked back by another boot to the face. Kaiser then comes from out of the corner and knocks Valentine down with a dropkick. Valentine returns to her feet, only to get returned to the mat by another calf kick. The Crown Jewel then takes Valentine and sends her into the ropes. When Valentine returns, Kaiser throws her down with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. After Valentine bounces off of Kaiser’s knee, she turns over onto her stomach while she holds her back. Up Kaiser’s not done. She marches over towards Valentine, stands over her, reaches down and slowly lifts her up before delivering a deadlift German Suplex. She then heads over and makes the cover.

Kaiser brings Valentine back to her feet, pulls her away from the ropes and places her in a cravat lock before delivering repeated knees to the head. After letting go, Kaiser follows up with a dropsault which sends Valentine stumbling over towards the corner, where Pedro Gonzales takes himself in.

Kris Cruise: It looks like we’re finally going to see Pedro Gonzales mix it up tonight.

Stephy Auger: Good, I’ve been waiting for him to get popped in the mouth.

The New Pride of Mexico slingshots himself over the top rope before circling the ring. He and Kaiser then size each other up before engaging in a collar-and-elbow tie up. After jockeying for position, Kaiser gains the advantage with an arm wrench. She then tries to yank Gonzales’ arm from out of its socket before delivering another arm wrench. The ref checks in with Gonzales, asking if he wants to give up. After Gonzales refuses, he rolls forward, leans back, kips up and reverses into an arm wrench of his own. But the cheers turn to boos when Kaiser takes her free hand and socks Gonzales across the face with it. After a kick to the midsection, Kaiser takes Gonzales and whips him into the ropes. When Gonzales returns, Kaiser throws out a clothesline. But Gonzales ducks and runs into the far ropes. When he returns, he delivers a high speed hurricanrana, sending Kaiser down to the canvas. As The Crown Jewel returns to her feet and turns around, she gets caught with a bicycle high knee, which knocks her through the ropes and to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Kasier just got sent to the floor after that hard knee to the face! But it looks like Gonzales isn’t done!

Maritza Diaz begins to lead the crowd in a series of claps while Gonzales readies himself for a dive. As soon as Kaiser begins to pick herself up on the floor, Gonzales runs into the ropes. When he returns, he flips over the top rope and knocks Kaiser down with a cartwheel plancha. The crowd responds with cheers and applause from while grappler lay on the floor.

Kris Cruise: The high risk pays off as Gonzales wipes out Kaiser on the floor!

Stephy Auger: But neither one of them has gotten up! If they don’t return to the ring, Serpent’s Touch would win this by countout, right?

Gonzales pulls up Kaiser before rolling her back inside. After he rolls himself back in, he makes the cover.

After pulling up Kaiser, Gonzales wrenches her arm, pulls her into his corner and tags in Diaz. The crowd cheers as The Power Princess gets in and doubles Kaiser over with a blow to the midsection. She then takes The Crown Jewel and whips her into the ropes. When Kaiser returns, Diaz grabs her by the throat to set up an overhead choke suplex. But Kaiser quickly swats Diaz’s arm down before kicking her in the midsection. She then throws Diaz down with an arm wringer.

Kris Cruise: Diaz just got sent shoulder-first onto the canvas with that arm wringer from Kaiser.

Stephy Auger: She can’t toss anyone around with a bum arm, now can she?

While Diaz is in the prone position, Kaiser quickly drops down and applies a fijuwara armbar.

Kris Cruise: Kaiser quickly takes advantage of Diaz’s positioning and locks on a Fujiwara Armbar!

The ref asks Diaz if he she wants to give up. But The Power Princess refuses. The crowd cheers as she begins to pull herself towards the center of the ring. Kaiser keeps the hold applied and pulls back to apply more pressure. It slows down Diaz. But it doesn’t stop her completely. The Power Princess tries to power through the pain as she continues to pull herself towards the side of the ring. Diaz then reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope, forcing a rope break.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Kaiser reluctantly breaks the hold. After bringing Diaz back to her feet, Kaiser moves her into the corner before tagging Master back in. Once Master gets in, they double team Diaz in the corner with multiple stomps to the midsection. They then bring Diaz from out of the corner before whipping her into the far ropes. When Diaz returns, Through Diamond Eyes throw out a double clothesline. But Diaz ducks and runs into the far ropes. When Diaz returns, Master drops down to the canvas. So Diaz hops over her, only to get caught with a Falcon Kick from Kaiser. While Diaz is dazed, Kaiser turns her around before her and Master deliver a German Suplex/Superkick combo! The boos continue as Master makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Good team work there by Through Diamond Eyes, who might have had the match won if it weren’t for Faye Valentine breaking up the pin!

Valentine goes to head back into her corner, but she gets shoved from behind by Master. While the two of them get into a shoving contest, this allows Diaz to crawl over into her corner and tag Gonzales back in.

Kris Cruise: Valentine and Master are getting it to! But they don’t know that Diaz has tagged out!

Stephy Auger: Turn around! TURN AROUND!

The crowd cheers as Gonzales hops through the ropes, rushes up from behind and connects with a front dropkick, knocking Master into Valentine. After their skulls connects, Master crumbles to the mat while Valentine falls through the ropes and lands on the outside. Back in the ring, Gonzales picks up Master and whips her into the ropes. When Master returns, she slides through Gonzales’ legs. When Gonzales turns around, Master throws out a spinning backfist. But Gonzales ducks and counters with an uppercut, then an elbow, then a roundhouse kick to the jaw, followed by a sweep kick.

Kris Cruise: Sadistic Combo from Gonzales!

With Master down, Gonzales turns and runs into the ropes. When he returns, he goes for a running Shooting Star Press. But he ends up crashing down across Master’s knees.

Stephy Auger: She got her knees up!

While Gonzales gets up on one knee, Master runs and takes off into the ropes. When she returns, she flattens him with a Shining Wizard. The boos continue as she makes the cover.

Master picks up Gonzales and goes for an irish whip. But Gonzales reverses, sending her into the ropes, where Valentine tags herself in. When Master comes back, Gonzales lifts her up across his shoulders. When Gonzales turns around, Valentine rushes over and connects with the Heatseeker I (running front dropkick), knocking Gonzales to the mat as he delivers a Samoan Drop to Master.

Valentine then takes Gonzales and goes for an irish whip. But Gonzales reverses, sending her into the corner. He then charges into the corner, only to end up eating a back elbow to the face. Valentine then quickly hops through the ropes onto the apron, hooks Gonzales arms around the top rope and beats down on his chest with a series of clubbing strikes. She then blasts him with an elbow smash to the back of the head, sending Gonzales staggering away from the ropes. While Gonzales tries to shake off the blows, Valentine scales to the top turnbuckle. When Gonzales turns around, he gets knocked down with the Heatseeker II (middle front dropkick). She makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: What a save by The Power Princess!

As Diaz returns to her feet, she gets attacked from behind by Kimiko. The crowd boos as the Red Lotus takes Diaz, rushes into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. The ref goes over and tries to get both illegal members out of the ring, but Kimiko forces the ref back by threatening to attack him. When Kimiko turns her attention back to Diaz, The Power Princess grabs her by the neck with both hands and tosses her into the corner. After a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection, Diaz grabs her by the wrist and leads her out of the corner, only to knock her down with a short-arm clothesline.

On the other side of the ring, Valentine sets up Gonzales for an exploder suplex. But he blocks by nailing Valentine with three elbows to the side of the head. Once he’s free, Gonzales turns and runs into the ropes. When he returns, he goes for a crossbody block. But Valentine catches him in mid air before throwing him down with the Faye-away Slam (fallaway slam). Once she returns to her feet, she begins waving Gonzales up.

Kris Cruise: Valentine’s setting up for something...

Once Gonzales returns to his feet and turns around, Valentine rushes over and goes to end things with the Kiss of Death (running bicycle knee). But Gonzales side steps and swats her down in front of him. He then quickly grabs her from behind and goes for a German Suplex. But Valentine elbows him in the face, performs a standing switch and brings him down with an O’Connor Roll.

Before Diaz can return to her feet, Master drags her to the outside. Sh then goes for an irish whip. But Diaz reverses, sending Master crashing into the guardrail. Back inside, Gonzales drags Valentine into position before turning and climbing up to the top turnbuckle. He raises his arms in the air before flipping down and connecting with an Inverted 450 Splash.

Various items lay strewn about on top of a wooden folding table somewhere deep in the backstage labyrinth of the Staples Center: a pair of elbow sleeves, MMA striking gloves, and finally a black leather jacket that reads "Burning Heart." James Edwards enters the picture partially dressed for combat. He is already in his tights and wears a t-shirt bearing the image of Roberto Clemente.

James Edwards: I don't think anyone can accuse me of being inconsistent during the deadlock with Mark Storm. I've repeatedly said that I respect the man. I never refused a handshake or an embrace from him. I still respect him, and I will congratulate him tonight whether I win or lose the fight. That's who I am outside of the ring.

He picks up the elbow sleeves and slides them on one at a time, taking care to ensure that they are properly adjusted and a little loose, just the way he likes them. After slapping both in an odd ritual, he resumes speaking.

James Edwards: What Mark needs to realize is that I'm not the same man inside the ring. I don't believe in reason, honor, or the basic limits of human decency. I only care about one thing: finishing the person in front of me. Normally, I either fail or succeed, there ain't ties involved. I either know if I'm better or worse than my opponent. Inside an FGA ring, I still don't have my answer if I'm better than Mark Storm. The other part of me refuses to rest until he has his answer.

Edwards moves his hands towards the gloves. Just like the sleeves, he puts them on one at a time with the same care one would normally associate with a nurse handling a newborn.

James Edwards: What gets me the most is that I already know the answer. I had Mark beat the last time we fought on Vertigo. He wasn't gonna break that small package. I knew it then as sure as I know it now. The way I feel deep in my gut that he ain't gonna break me tonight; he ain't gonna put me down like he did in Japan; he ain't gonna beat me on the biggest stage of my career.

He pulls off his shirt and quickly pulls on the jacket. The hood goes up, obscuring the Kentuckian's face.

James Edwards: I promise to not break one pattern tonight, Storm has my respect regardless of the outcome, and he will get another handshake. The only difference is that he will be congratulating me on the biggest win of my career.

Short Change Hero by The Heavy begins to play through the speakers and the lights in the arena simultaneously dim down. Smoke begins to rise from the top of the stage and appearing on the screen above are the following words;

YOUR HERO, AND MINE

A massive pop ensues as emerging from the back is the self proclaimed "Prince of CHAOS", Mark Storm; who keeps himself composed as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp. He can't help but allow his sadistic signature smirk to appear upon his lips as he closes his eyes and spreads his arms out wide, soaking in the energy that the audience are giving him as they applaud and cheer.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from New York, Brooklyn.. weighing in a two hundred and twenty pounds - Your Hero, and Mine.. MARRKKKK STORMMMMMM!!!

He begins his walk down the entrance ramp, with a leather coat completing his attire as he comes down the entrance ramp.

To call "home."

At this point, Storm is by the edge of the ring; allowing a smile to embed on his face before he jumps onto the apron and holds onto the ropes, using them to help himself up onto the turnbuckle. He's grinning from ear to ear, soaking in the rest of the cheers coming from the audience, shaking his head sideways as he lowers it, before jumping into the ring.

Taking off his leather coat, he hands it to the ring announcer before walking over to his designated corner and hoisting himself up onto the second ropes, a smirk upon his lips as he holds his arms up; his theme song slowly diminishing.

Kris Cruise: Here we go, Stephy! It’s the third and final match in this trilogy between Mark Storm and James Edwards. But it didn’t start out as a Trilogy, did it?

Stephy Auger: No it didn’t. The first match between these two ended in a Draw when neither man could answer the referee’s ten count. Then, in the rematch, the match ended in a Time Limit Draw. However, James Edwards feels that he had that match won and if there was five more seconds on the clock, he would have won.

The house lights go down, and the arena stays black during the garbled opening guitar rift, then, "Okay." Strobe lights move with the easy beat of the song. James appears at the top of the ramp with the hood on his ring jacket up. He takes a few moments survey everything before him. The hood goes down with the opening lyrics.

J.A. Aldridge: And his opponent, from Lexington, Kentucky! Weighing in at 204 pounds! He is “The Burning Heart” JAAAAAAAAMES EEEEEEDWAAAARRRRDSSSS!!!

Moving with the meandering pace of the music, his eyes never leave the ring. He laps the squared circle, slides under the bottom ropes, and bows martial arts style to all four corners before settling into his own.

Kris Cruise: Well the clock running out is something that he don’t have to worry about here tonight as there will be no time limit. This match has also been billed as needing a winner. Meaning that if both men happen to be counted out or if both men can’t answer the referee’s ten count, then the match will be restarted until there is a clear and decisive winner!

The bell sounds as both men circle the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Storm takes Edwards and moves him across the ring. At the last second, Edwards turns and presses Storm against the ropes. The ref then scurries over and gives both men until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Both men make a clean break. Edwards then quickly slaps on a side headlock. But Storm bounces into the ropes before shoving Edwards off into the far ropes. When Edwards returns, the crowd cheers as he runs over Storm with a running shoulder block, sending Storm rolling backwards and landing on his stomach.

Kris Cruise: What a shoulder block by The Burning Heart!

Stephy Auger: He nearly ran right through Storm!

As Storm tries to get back to his feet, Edwards latches onto him with another side headlock. This time, Storm nails him in the ribs three times before shoving him off into the ropes. When Edwards returns, he runs over Storm with another shoulder block. He then runs into another set of ropes while Storm picks himself up. When Edwards returns, Storm leapfrogs over him. Edwards continues to run into the ropes. When Edwards returns, the crowd cheers when Storm knocks him down with a dropkick. The cheers continue when Storm throws him down with an arm drag, then another. Storm then quickly transitions into an armbar. The ref goes over and asks Edwards if he wants to give up. But The Burning Heart refuses. After battling back to his feet, Edwards slowly reaches over before reversing into an arm wrench of his own. Storm seethes in pain as Edwards delivers another arm wrench… and another. The ref checks in on Storm and asks if he’d like to give up. But Storm refuses. He then rolls forward, bridges back, spins over onto his knees, flips over with a headstand and ends up reversing back into an arm wrench of his own.

Kris Cruise: Nifty reversal there by Edwards. Both of these men are well travelled and highly-respected grapplers. But when it comes to technical wrestling and going hold for hold? I think Storm has Edwards beat.

Stephy Auger: But Edwards is the better striker and all it takes it one well-placed, well-time shot to put things back in his favor.

Cheers fill Staples Center as Storm regains control of the match with a hammerlock. But his control is only temporary as Edwards leans forward before reversing into a hammerlock of his own. Storm then quickly reaches down with his free arm and yanks Edwards’ leg out from under him. As he quickly turns around and tries to apply a single leg crab, Edwards uses his free leg to shove Storm down to the canvas. Both men scramble to get back to their feet. Edwards beats Storm to a vertical base and tries to kick Storm's head off with The Violent Gospel (Running PK). But Storm immediately drops down on his back to avoid the blow. When Edwards turns around, Storm kips up before connecting with a Pelé Kick. While Edwards is dazed, Storm then runs into the ropes. When he returns, he executes a rolling thunder hurricanrana. The cheers continue as Storm turns over and makes the cover.

Storm picks up Edwards, brings him into the corner and delivers a knife edge chop. He then nails Edwards with another chop before Edwards grabs a hold of him and tosses him into the corner. Edwards then fires off a blistering knife edge chop that causes Storm to cringe. Storm howls in pain when Edwards fires off another knife edge chop… and another chop… and another. He then takes Storm and goes for an irish whip. But Storm drops down to a knee before reversing, sending Edwards into the turnbuckles. Storm then runs over to attack. But Edwards is able to duck and dump Storm over the top rope. After landed on his feet on the floor, Edwards quickly reaches back inside and yanks Edwards down onto his stomach. After he pulls Edwards out to the floor, Storm slides back in before running into the far ropes. When Storm returns, Edwards slides back in and goes to cut him off with a lariat. But Storm ducks and runs towards the ropes. When Edwards turns around, the crowd cheers when he gets thrown down with a Sling Blade. He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Thus far, Storm has been able to use his agility and speed to his advantage to get the better of Edwards.

Stephy Auger: That has to be grating Edwards, especially since he feels he probably had the last match won.

Storm picks up Edwards and whips him into the ropes. He throws out a dropkick. But he does so too early, allowing Edwards to hang onto the ropes. But instead of crashing onto his back, Storm is able to rotate and land on his feet. As soon as he does, Edwards rushes over and throws out another lariat. But again, Storm ducks and runs into the ropes. When Storm returns, the crowd cheers when Edwards throws him down with a snap powerslam. He hooks the leg.

Kris Cruise: Edwards topped Storm’s momentum with that snap powerslam for a count of two. That’s exactly what he needed to get back into this contest.

Edwards picks up Storm, moves him into the corner and nails him with a series of shoulder thrusts that nearly knock the air out of Your Hero & Mine. He then stands back up before unloading on Storm with a ballistic combinations of rights and lefts to the midsection. After rocking Storm with a huge uppercut, Edwards takes Storm and whips him hard into the opposite corner. After Storm crashes into the turnbuckles and staggers over towards the center of the ring, Edwards runs over and nails Storm with a lariat that levels him folded up on the mat. The cheers continue as Edwards pushes him over and makes the cover.

The ref gets down and asks Storm if he wants to give up. But Storm refuses. He then turns over onto his knees before returning to a vertical base. After four elbows to the midsection, Storm breaks the hold. But before Storm can take off into the ropes, Edwards quickly reaches over and locks him in a cravat. After a series of repeated knees to the face, Edwards brings him down with a cravate cutter. He makes the cover.

Edwards picks up Storm and whips him into the ropes. When Storm returns, Edwards nails him with a left hook to the midsection that causes Storm to staggers across the ring before dropping down to his knees. The Burning Heart then marches over and pulls Storm back up before behind before slamming him down with a belly to back gourdbuster. He then turns Storm over and makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Edwards tried to knock the air out of Storm with that maneuver…

Edwards picks up Storm, lifts him up and throws him down across the top rope with a front suplex. While Storm hangs across the top rope, Edwards runs back over and connects with a hard European Uppercut, knocking Storm off the rope and down to the apron. As Storm tries to shake out the cobwebs, Edwards steps out onto the apron. After pulling up Storm, Edwards doubles him over with a hard knee to the midsection. He then nails Storm with another hard knee… and another… and another. After turning Storm around on the apron, Edwards quickly grabs Storm around the waist and goes for a German Suplex off the apron, resulting in gasps and shrieks from some members of the crowd. But Storm is able to block the move by grabbing onto the top rope.

Kris Cruise: Storm nearly when flying off the apron with that german Suplex from Edwards!

So Edwards goes for another German Suplex off the apron. But again, Storm blocks the move by grabbing onto the ropes.

Kris Cruise: Edwards went for it again!

So Edwards lets go and delivers a clubbing strike across the back of the neck. After grabbing Storm around the waist, Edwards goes for another German off the apron. But again, Storm blocks by grabbing onto the ropes.

Stephy Auger: Look at him, Cruise! You can see how badly Edwards wants to win this match!

Edwards uses his strength to yank Storm’s hands from off the ropes. Before Edwards can send him flying off the apron with a German Suplex, Storm flings his head back, cracking Edwards in the nose. Once the hold is broken, Storm staggers over towards the far ring post. While Edwards is still trying to shake out the cobwebs, Storm turns around and runs along the apron to attack Edwards. But Edwards counters with a running STO onto the apron. Storm then bounces off the porn before falling to the floor.

Kris Cruise: Edwards just drove Storm down across the hardest part of the ring with that running STO!

Edwards picks up Edwards, hooks both arms and delivers a butterfly suplex on the floor. Storm can be seen howling in pain while he arches his back. The Burning Heart reaches down, picks up Storm and scoops him up across his shoulders for a fireman’s carry gourdbuster. But Storm blocks it with repeated elbows to the side of the head. After Edwards stumbles back towards the side of the ring, Storm slips off his shoulders and lands on the apron. He then gets up and nails Edwards with a side kick to the back of the head, knocking Edwards over towards the guardrail. Once Edwards shakes off the cobwebs, takes a few steps back and turns around, Storm springboards onto the middle ropes, backflips off and catches Edwards on the way down with a sitout inverted DDT. Cheers and applause fill Staples Center while both men lay on their backs.

Kris Cruise: What a move that was by Mark Storm!

Stephy Auger: These two aren’t going to hold anything back, Stephy. They’re willing to do whatever’s necessary to win this matchup.

Storm picks up Edwards and rolls him back inside. After rolling back inside, he climbs onto Edwards for the cover.

Storm picks up Edwards, moves him into the corner and unleashes a flurry of shoot kicks to the chest. On the last kick, Edwards grabs Storm’s leg before taking his right arm and delivering a downward elbow strike to the top of the thigh. After letting go of Storm’s leg, Edwards rocks him with an elbow smash, sending him stumbling back away from the corner. Edwards then comes from out of the corner and connects with a superkick, sending Storm down to the canvas. The Burning Heart drops down and makes the cover.

Edwards picks up Storm and whips him into the ropes. When Storm returns, he collapses on all fours after Edwards nails him with a knee strike to the midsection. Edwards then reaches down, pulls up Storm, lifts him up across his shoulders and delivers a fireman’s carry gourdbuster. After bouncing off the canvas and turning over onto back, Storm lays sprawled out on the mat while Edwards heads out onto the apron.

Kris Cruise: What could Edwards be going for here? He’s not known as someone that takes it to the air.

Stephy Auger: In a match like this, he’s going to pull out everything in his arsenal.

The Burning Heart scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and connects with a diving headbutt to the midsection. Storm immediately curls up. But Edwards reaches over, pulls Storm back towards him and makes the cover.

After Edwards hops up and down on one leg, he goes to counters with an enzuigiri, but Storm ducks. Storm then groans after he reaches down and deadlifts Edwards off the mat with a gutwrench. He then walks over towards the center of the ring before pulling Edwards up and throwing him down with a deadlift gutwrench sitout powerbomb. Cheers and applause can be heard as the ref slides over to make the count.

Storm picks up Edwards and nails him with an elbow smash before turning and motioning towards the ropes. But before Storm can run, Edwards throws out and connects with a superkick to the back of the head, sending Storm staggering into the ropes. The Burning Heart then marches over, pulls Storm away from the ropes and throws him down with a release tiger suplex. But Storm rolls back to his feet, rushes over and catches a shocked Edwards by surprise with a discus clothesline that turns him inside out.

Kris Cruise: Some “fighting spirit” on display there from Storm!

Storm reaches down and slowly picks up Edwards off the mat before turning and running into the ropes. When Storm returns, he throws out a bicycle knee. But Edwards side steps, swats Storm down, quickly grabs him from behind to set up a German Suplex. But Storm blocks it with three elbows to the face. After performing a standing switch, Storm goes for a German of his own. But Edwards blocks the move by hooking one of his legs around Storm’s. After a hard elbow to the face, Edwards performs a standing switch, turns Storm around and catches him with the Double Tap (consecutive spinning backfists). Once Storm drops down to a knee after the second backfist, Edwards turns and into the ropes. When Edwards returns, the crowd cheers when he flattens Storm with the Poleshift (rebound rolling wheel kick). He makes the cover.

After bringing Storm back to his feet, Edwards doubles him over with another knee to the midsection. He then grabs Storm from behind before going for the Second Gospel (Rainmaker Bicycle High Knee). But as soon as Edward pulls Storm in front of him, Storm cuts him off with a bicycle knee of his own. While Edwards is dazed, Storm delivers two palm strikes, followed by two elbow strikes, followed by a shoot kick to the leg, followed by a spinning backfist, then a rolling clothesline that knocks Edwards down.

Kris Cruise: The Impending Storm!

The crowd stomp their feet as both grapplers slowly return to their feet. Storm reaches over, grabs Edwards and whips him into the ropes. When Edwards returns, Storm leaps up for a hurricanrana. But Edwards counters with a folding powerbomb.

Kris Cruise: Storm’s writhing in pain! As you said, he’s trapped in the center of the ring with nowhere to go, which is just where Edwards wants him!

Storm can be seen howling in pain while Edwards has the hold locked in. The ref asks him if he wants to give up. But again, Storm refuses.

Crowd: MY HERO! MY HERO! MY HERO!

Stephy Auger: I don’t know what these people are cheering for. They can’t win this match for him!

Feeding off the energy of the crowd, Storm begins to pull himself towards the ropes. Feeling that Storm is about to escape, Edwards transitions over from the single leg crab into a crossface.

Kris Cruise: The Burning Heart switches over into another submission!

Stephy Auger: Now he’s really got Storm in trouble!

Storm groans while Edwards pulls back on the neck. The ref gets down and asks Storm if he wants to give up. When Storm refuses, Edwards begins to yank away on the neck.

Kris Cruise: Edwards is fighting for that submission! He’s fighting to be called better than Mark Storm! But Storm will not give up!

The ref asks Storm if he wants to give up. But again, Storm refuses. He groans as he uses his free arm to try and pull himself towards the ropes. Edwards shakes his head as Storm moves himself closer and closer towards the ropes. He then reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope, resulting in cheers and applause from the crowd.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Edwards breaks the hold. After bringing Storm back to his feet and towards the center of the ring, he nails Storm with an elbow smash before whipping him into the ropes. As Storm bounces back, Edwards runs into the same set of ropes. After Storm stops and turns around, the crowd cheers when Edwards grabs him and brings him down with an Ace Crusher. He turns Storm over and makes the cover.

After Storm ricochets off the turnbuckles and stumbles back, Edwards grabs him from behind and sets him up for the Halfcut Kai (release reverse exploder suplex). But before Edwards can lift him up, Storm nails him with repeated elbows to the back of the head. After performing a standing switch, the crowd cheers as Storm leaps onto Edwards’ shoulders and plants him with a reverse hurricanrana.

Kris Cruise: Storm spikes Edwards with the reverse hurricanrana!

As Edwards tries pick himself back up, Storm runs into the ropes, springboards onto the middle ropes, rebounds back and brings him down with a cutter.

Kris Cruise: Storm Search! Storm Search!

The crowd cheers while both grappler begin to stir on the canvas. After a few seconds, then they slowly begin to return to their feet. When Edwards turns around, he turns into a bicycle knee strike to the face. As Edwards drops down to a knee, Storm turns and runs into the ropes. When Storm returns, he knocks Edwards down with another running bicycle knee to the face. The cheers continue as Storm pulls up Edwards, lifts him up across his shoulders and then connects with Dystopia (GTS). After Edwards crumbles to the canvas, Storm collapses on top of him and hooks the leg.

The cheers continue as Storm gets to his feet before getting his hand raised.

Kris Cruise: What a match that was! After three tough matches between these three, we finally have a winner and his name is Mark Storm! All the credit in the word goes to James Edwards, who put up one heck of a fight. But here tonight at All-Star Showdown Six, Storm was able to come away with the win. With performances like that, I would say the future is bright for both men here in FGA...

As the weeks have passed into days, and the days have passed into hours, and now those hours have passed into minutes before it's time for him to step into the ring to challenge Izzy Anders for the FWA Championship, we catch up with Johnny Karma as he uses the last moments before this match to check in with the one person he has relied upon ever since he made his debut...

Johnny Karma: Hey, how are you feeling?

As he listens to whatever it is that Cherry is saying on the other end of the line, and whatever she is saying is taking a bit longer than a standard "I'm okay", Karma's facial expression says all that needs to be said - as a combination of disappointment and rage are clearly written upon his face, disappointment that Cherry isn't with him this evening, and rage because of the reason why

Finally, after hearing whatever news that Cherry had, Karma's eyes narrow a little

Johnny Karma: So you know what she said last night about...well, you know.

For a moment Karma is silent, and by the sound of it so is Cherry on the other end of the line, and in the moment of silence Karma absent-mindedly runs a hand through his hair and rubs the back of his head, clearly looking for something to do with his hand - other than the most tempting option, namely punch the wall

Johnny Karma: ...to be honest I'll be glad when it's all over. The cheap shots, the attacks, the nasty little comments she makes with every breath, the cheap shots on top of the other cheap shots, the fact I can't seem to sneeze without her crawling out of the woodwork to give her opinion on everything I've ever said and done, all of that and so much more I don't even have the time or the energy to talk about. I'm sick of it, I'm tired of it, and I am done with it.

Shaking his head slightly, Karma moves his hand from the back of his head to the back of his neck

Johnny Karma: And the thing is, I just wish you were...

Stopping short of finishing what he was about to say, Karma sighs

As Karma takes a moment to look up to the locker room ceiling, Cherry begins talking to him - actually talking, not speaking to - and as she does so Karma slowly lowers his head and stops staring at the ceiling, and he certainly seems to be listening to everything that she's telling him...yet whatever she's saying to him right now, we'll never know what it actually is

Only after Cherry has finished saying what she needed to say, and after Karma is again silent for just a moment, does he respond

Johnny Karma: Don't worry, I remember what my promise was: to end her. Not just leave her without the title, but leave her without a shred of belief or delusion or whatever she would need to prop her up to convince her that it would be worth it to come back at me - or you - ever again. And believe me, after that little comment of hers at the last show, I'm more than ready to do just that.

Karma gets to his feet, pacing around the locker room for a moment as his focus is firmly on the task in hand - apart from one thing...

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is a six-man tag team match scheduled for one fall!

The house lights dim in the smaller facility, and multi-colored lights soon flicker throughout the filled-to-the-brim center. The crowd jumps to it's feet, blowing the roof off from the much smaller arena as Chris Bond makes his way out from behind the curtains. As he emerges from behind the curtain, there is a small burst of excitement from the crowd. With a spotlight lighting his way, Bond makes his way down the aisle and towards the ring, even slapping a few hands on the way down. Soon enough he jogs up the stairs, and walks along the ring apron before wiping his feet. Chris Bond steps over the second rope and into the ring. The self-proclaimed legend of the wrestling world walks to the center of the ring and stands there for a moment, as flashes go off through out the waves of fans. He circles the ring, arms outstretched, as the fans cheer loudly once again. Bond enjoys this, as his trademark smirk re-emerges on his face. Heading to his corner, Bond does a few stretches as he waits for the match to begin.

J.A. Aldridge: Introducing first, hailing from San Antonio, Texas, weighing in at two hundred and forty-two pounds… CHHRIIIIISSS BONNNNNNNND!

The hard bass beat of Run The Jewels' "Blockbuster Night Part I" vibrates throughout the arena as the crowd immediately look down the isle way in anticipation of the man about to step out from behind the curtain.

As soon as Killer Mike spits the first words of the song, "Indestructible" Owen Gonsalves steps through to a pop from the audience as he flips up the collar of his old mentor's ring jacket and begins to analyse the crowd. Once El-P's verse begins, The Submission Alchemist immediately begins to walk down towards the ring, mouthing the words to the song as he acknowledges a few of the folks in the front row.

J.A. Aldridge: And his partner, hailing from Melbourne, Australia, weighing in at two hundred and five pounds, “The Visionary” OOOOWEN GONNNNNSALVES!

Having made his way to the bottom of the ramp, Owen starts shadow boxing to the camera at the bottom of the ramp before throwing an elbow in the camera's direction as El-P says 'ditch 'em'. Owen climbs on the apron and up on the second turnbuckle, looking out to the audience before hopping in the ring. The music slowly fades as Owen removes his ring jacket and begins to warm up, awaiting for the match to start.

J.A. Aldridge: And their tag team partner…

“Lose Yourself’ hits the PA system to a loud pop from the live audience in the Staples Center!

Stephy Auger: Ugh…

Luke Jackson comes out with a huge smile on his face basking in the glory of wrestling. He has a black wife beater on and backwards Oakland As' cap on. He slaps the hands of fans on his way down to the ring.

J.A. Aldridge: On his way to the ring, hailing from Oakland, California…!

The introduction earns a thunderous pop from the audience-- but it quickly turns to a chorus of boos as Luke is struck from behind!

Kris Cruise: Wait a second!

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Ricky Valero has clubbed Jackson in the back of the knee with a Chop Block! Valero screeches out in agny, clutching his right knee as he rolls onto his back on the ramp-- caught with a Jumping Double Foot Stomp from Valero! Valero turns and begins to swiftly kick and stomp at Luke Jackson!

Stephy Auger: Look at this, Cruise! Brilliance by Thy Kingdom Come!

Bond rushes for the ropes to save his partner-- but he’s intercepted with a Spinning Spinebuster from the out-of-nowhere Nate Bristow!

Stephy Auger: HAHA, SEE?!

Kris Cruise: Nate Bristow out of nowhere, drilling Chris Bond! And now Owen Gonsalves realizes exactly what he’s up against!

The audience groans as Owen looks between Nate Bristow and Tully Barnes, who steps into the ring with a grin. Owen Gonsalves glances between the two members multiple times before taking a breath-- and rushing forward, laying into Bristow with a shoot kick to the jaw, knocking him through the ropes! Barnes looks at his partner in shock but Gonsalves beckons him forward and the ref calls for the opening bell!

DING! DING! DING!

Stephy Auger: Wha-- w-- wait!

Kris Cruise: No more waiting! This match is underway!

Owen nails a European Uppercut and Irish Whips Barnes into the ropes! Barnes rebounds and goes for a Neckbreaker, but Gonsalves shove him off, into the ropes, hitting a Lariat to the back of Barnes’ head! Barnes staggers upright and Owen hits a stomp to the midsection before going for an Irish Whip into the turnbuckles! He rushes forward… but Barnes catches him and hits an Inverted Atomic Drop! The audience groans and Barnes follows up with a stalling Flapack into the top turnbuckle!

Kris Cruise: Rollup by Barnes!

Barnes hits a loose version of the Schoolboy!

The shot knocks Tully Barnes back into his corner where Ricky Valero tags himself in, earning a chorus of boos from the audience! Valero grins at Gonsalves who shakes his head in response and beckons him forward-- to which Valero obliges! The two lock-up but Owen Gonsalves suckers his slightly larger opponent into a European Uppercut! Valero counters with a kick to the gut but Gonsalves dives into a second, hard European Uppercut that knocks Valero into the ropes! Weakly, Valero rebounds into a kick to the gut-- and then a Falcon Arrow!

Kris Cruise: Vicious Falcon Arrow by Owen Gonsalves! A cover with the referee in perfect position to see the shoulders! Where would this leave Thy Kingdom Come?!

The shot launches Valero into his corner where Nate Bristow roughly tags himself in, earning a chorus of boos from the Staples Center. Bristow rushes the rising Jackson and hits a hard closed-fist uppercut! The ref warns Bristow, but he shrugs him off and hoists Luke Jackson up, draping him first over the top rope and then nailing a Slingshot Suplex! He rolls into a cover, hooking both legs, yelling for the ref to ”COUNT HIM!”

Kris Cruise: And another kickout, this time by Jackson!

Bristow throws Jackson into a neutral corner, face-first into the middle turnbuckle… before following up with a stiff boot to the back of the head! Jackson groans in pain, turning into a seated position as Bristow delivers a series of hard mudhole stomps to his body! Jackson groans out in pain and Bristow finally pivots, marching back to his corner to tag in the eager Tully Barnes.

Stephy Auger: Take everything out on him, Barnes!

Tully sneers at the booing audience and slowly turns a glare toward Jackson, stalking him to his feet! Jackson uses the ropes to pull himself up-- and he’s snatched from behind with a Sleeper Hold! Jackson’s eyes widen… and Barnes pulls him to the center of the ring!

Kris Cruise: Tully Barnes has the Sleeper Hold locked in, but he can’t secure that arm under the chin! Luke Jackson is giving it everything he’s got!

Luke fights it and tries to use the bottom rope to spring himself back onto Barnes-- but Barnes snatches him back down, wrenching in the hold, and eventually hits a Russian Leg Sweep! Kneeling on Jackson, Barnes reaches out and tags in Bristow to applause from Valero, but deafening boos from the Los Angeles audience. They throw Jackson into the corner and the pair begins a series of stomps to his chest and ribcage!

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Bristow forces Jackson up and goes to Irish Whip him into a neutral corner-- but Jackson reverses it! Bristow slams into the turnbuckles and staggers out into a Superkick from Luke! The shot sounds through the arena and both competitors hit the canvas, but Jackson desperately crawls for his corner!

Kris Cruise: Crawling… crawling…

Stephy Auger: TAG-- ew-- TO CHRIS BOND!

There is a pop as Bond steps into the ring. Nate Bristow staggers to his feet, only to be taken to the canvas with a Dragon Screw! Barnes’ eyes widen from the apron, and with a glance back toward him, Bond locks in the Knee Bar! Bristow cries out in pain…

...and Valero comes crashing down on Bond with a Springboard Leg Drop across the neck! The audience boos wildly in response and Valero slides out of the ring before the ref can scold him. Bristow drags himself into his corner, tagging in Barnes once more. Bond stumbles to his feet, only to be drilled with a Double Snap Suplex by Bristow & Barnes! Bristow slides out of the ring and Barnes drives an elbow across Bond’s face as he pins him!

Valero screams for the tag… and finally, Barnes slaps his hand. Valero steps in… but Bristow does as well, and both members of Bristow & Barnes abruptly pivot, rushing to the opposing corner, hammering Jackson and Gonsalves with rights and lefts to boos from the audience!

The ref threatens to call the match as Bristow & Barnes drag the stunned Jackson and Gonsalves into the ring. The two line them up in the neutral corners while Valero lifts up Bond on his own corner. With a nod from Valero, all three members go to Irish Whip Bond, Jackson, and Gonsalves into each other in the center of the ring-- but each one is reversed! The audience roars as the members of Thy Kingdom Come all connect in the center of the ring! Bristow & Barnes knock heads and collapse to the canvas!

Stephy Auger: WAIT! WAIT, WAIT!

Kris Cruise: How quickly things can turn around, right?

Tully stands upright-- but he’s nailed a a Handspring Cutter by Gonsalves! Tully rolls from the ring while Jackson slowly ascends to the top turnbuckle, eyes on Nate Bristow. Bristow stumbles up-- and Jackson comes off the top rope with a Flying Bulldog! Bristow is spiked into the canvas before weakly rolling out of the ring, falling to the floor. Groggily, Ricky Valero pulls himself up in the center of the ring. With smirks, Luke and Owen step out to their tag corner and Ricky looks upright, eyes wide as he sees himself alone with Chris Bond!

Kris Cruise: Bond has been waiting for this!

Valero, with no choice, screams in anger at Bond and rushes forward-- right into an STO! Bond shakes his head at Valero and rises up, striding to his corner and giving the tag to Luke Jackson! Jackson steps into the ring, measuring Valero as he reaches his knees… and sprints forward, blasting him across the jaw with a Drive-By Kick!

Kris Cruise: Oakland Drive-BY!

The shot sends Valero staggering up to his feet and Bond throws him through the ropes, but catches him before he can fall and pulls him back into the ring, suspended over the middle rope for a front facelock… and as Bond tags out to Owen, Bond connects with the Rope-Hung DDT!

Stephy Auger: REF!

Kris Cruise: Rejection by Bond! Tag to Gonsalves!

Gonsalves slides across the ring and locks Valero in the Wrist-Bending Omaplata, the Krukenberg!

Kris Cruise: Krukenberg! Valero’s in trouble!

Bristow & Barnes can be seen trying to slide into the ring… but just as quickly, Bond and Jackson pull them out on the outside! Bond throws Barnes into the steel ring post while Jackson drills Bristow with a Belly-to-Back Suplex on the floor!

Stephy Auger: This literally couldn’t have gone any worse!

Kris Cruise: Owen still has the Krukenberg locked in! But Valero won’t subim-- oh!

Owen uses his free leg, smashing the heel of his boot against Valero’s face! With a cry, Valero finally verbally submits and the ref calls for the bell! The bell sounds and “Blockbuster Night Part 1” hits the PA system. Owen allows Bond and Jackson to help him to his feet.

Kris Cruise: Stop it! Ricky Valero and Thy Kingdom Come got their comeuppance tonight. What a stellar, dominating performance by the three men in the ring!

The three raise each other’s arms while the ref specifically raises Owen’s. Valero sits on the outside, clutching his wrist, glaring up into the ring before glaring over at the still-unmoving Bristow & Barnes. Bond climbs to the second turnbuckle, posing to a pop from the crowd, before giving a dismissive smirk toward Valero, who slaps the ground in anger. We fade to black as Owen and Jackson celebrate with fans at ringside!

[FGA Office]

We cut to the backstage area where the audience grows loud with a mixed, mainly negative reaction at the image of Evan Envi. Evan is standing with his arms crossed, looking out-of-frame with a thoughtful expression before we pan out, revealing Spencer Burke in the same frame. Spencer raises his mic and looks at Evan, not even bothering to introduce him.

Spencer Burke: Evan Envi, in a few moments you are scheduled to face Noelle Smith one-on-one for what you claim is the final time, and we’ll get into the stakes of that contest in just a moment, but even with the possible presence of Frank Martel, where is your head going into this match after the violent and emphatic dissolution of Camp Envi just last night?

The audience roars at the recent memory and Evan’s eyes roll harder than imagined possible as Spencer brings the mic toward him. Envi snatches the microphone from his hands, glaring at Spencer Burke.

Evan Envi: TELL ME what that has to do with what I’m gonna do to Noelle in a few minutes out there! Did I need NEON the last time I beat Noelle Smith? Did I need Sadie San Francisco or Frank Martel to beat Noelle Smith?

Spencer Burke: Well… all due respect, I didn’t ask about who you needed to be at ringside. I asked… where are you, mentally and emotionally after the dissolution of Camp En--

Evan Envi: Stop. Using. That. Word.

Spencer sighs, raising a brow at Envi.

Spencer Burke: It seems pretty clear that your entire team has implo--

Evan Envi: Stop.

Envi begins to say something to Spencer, but he notices Spencer’s eyes drift past Evan, locking on someone behind him. Envi’s eyes widen as he apparently catches a reflection in the eye of Spencer Burke. He turns on his heel and there stands Noelle with her sister, who impulsively gives Evan a fingerwave. Noelle’s expression is nearly as calm as it’s ever been, and her gaze drifts from Envi as she picks a bit of imaginary lint from her ring gear.

Noelle Smith: Well this is a shame, Spencer. I’d have thought that the King of the Rats would have abandoned the ship by now. I mean, I hate to be that girl that crows I told you so? I really, really do.

Envi looks down for a long few moments, sighing softly. He shakes his head a little bit before finally looking up at Summerlyn-Shae and then at Noelle.

Evan Envi: I hope you’re happy, you psychopaths. You couldn’t BREAK the Chief so you called upon the Devil Himself to BREAK Camp Envi apart from the inside.

Summerlyn-Shae shakes her head and sighs, murmuring something about ‘mom said hi’ before Noelle lifts a hand and points it at Evan.

Noelle Smith: If you ever, even once took responsibility for how you are, we wouldn’t be standing on opposite sides of this room, we wouldn’t have spent the last couple of years sniping at each other, and you wouldn’t have been driven to try and throw me off a balcony. You know what you did, Evan. You can’t even see what you’re still doing to people, can you? Do you care? No, wait. Don’t even answer that, because if you think we summoned up the Devil to break apart your newest little collections of… well it doesn’t matter. Either this is a set up or it’s not.

She points back at her sister.

Noelle Smith: She’s not here for you. She’s here for Frank.

Envi nods, as if knowingly. He looks toward Summerlyn again, and once more back to Noelle.

Evan Envi: I already admitted what I wanted to do to you on that balcony. I already told the world exactly what kind of partner I hoped NEON would be when I brought her in here, and neither of those things worked out. Obviously. But don’t think I haven’t recalculated. Don’t think that I’m walking into this thing blinded by my own ego, man.

His eyes drift toward Summerlyn, once more, slowly, though he continues to speak to Noelle.

Evan Envi: And she’s here for Frank?

Envi laughs dryly, but just as quickly it’s gone, replaced with a look of disgust still trained on Summerlyn-Shae. The nod that follows is an indistinct one… and the half-smile that forms, a bitter one. He gives Summerlyn a once-over, keeping his words quiet.

Evan Envi: You just have allllllll the answers, huh?

Noelle rolls her expressive eyes.

Noelle Smith: Yes, that’s fair. Frankly Evan? You’ve never been right in the head, have you? I mean bare bones about it, I’ll never deny your talent in the ring the way you do mine.

Evan visibly grows agitated.

Evan Envi: That’s CRAP. I just sat there on camera and told the world that I can admit you’re a--

Noelle Smith: But then, I’m a better person than you are.

Evan Envi: You have got to be ki--

Noelle Smith: You make bad choices, you undercut yourself, you settle for the lesser and then you wonder why the universe is so against you.

Evan Envi: Noelle, y--

Noelle Smith: Evan… you should be FGA’s biggest signing in years. You are meant for more than this, and I’ve never understood why you get in your own way.

She pauses, but her expression doesn’t soften, doesn’t show empathy the way that it would have before the balcony incident.

Noelle Smith: Stop, for once, blaming me for you somehow not being a god. Evan… you never needed the leaf, Dumbo. You have it in you to fly, you always have all along, but you tie yourself to the concrete block and jump in the river instead.

Evan’s cheeks have grown red. The empty, bitter, half-smile returns to his face, but fades just a quickly, replaced by a scowl.

Evan Envi: Okay… okay.

Envi takes a step back from the two. A deep breath. He looks down at himself, and his face contorts for a moment, as if considering something. For several seconds, the Chief stands in silence, eyes falling closed, breaths growing steadier. Envi eventually opens his eyes, raising a gaze toward Noelle Smith, looking her over, staying silent for what grows to be an uncomfortably long time.

Evan Envi: Then tonight… Evan... Harrison... flies…

The words earn a loud, jumbled response from the international audience. Envi steps back again, disappearing from frame. The eyes of the sisters remain on Evan until his footsteps audibly fade and Summerlyn-Shae finally turns to give Noelle a concerned look, but Noelle just shakes her head then tugs her by the hand to head off as well.] We fade away.

J.A. Aldridge: The following contest will be competed under Pride Rules and it is for the FGA Pride Championship!

There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.

Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you.

On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.

Inside me a light was turned on…

The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.

Then I was alive!

In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.

J.A. Aldridge: Introducing first, the challenger! From Las Vegas, Nevada! She is the Las Vegas Siren, SAAAAAVANNAAAAAH TAAAAAYLOOOORRRR!!!

Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.

In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes

While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.

Kris Cruise: Savannah Taylor has come up short on multiple occasions when she’s had a chance to win an FGA championship. Is this the night that the Las Vegas Siren finally cashes in and brings FGA gold home? Or will she fall short yet again?

Stephy Auger: Taylor has been dying for this opportunity, Cruise. How many contenders did she go through in one match? Despite what Chris Madison thinks, Taylor has earned this opportunity!

The arena's lights dim to black as the opening guitar riffs to "War Machine" by KISS begin to screech over the P.A. system. The video screen lights up with visual static noise. Suddenly in the center of the screen a black handprint begins pulsating to the beat of the drum that has began to play. A spotlight shines on the entrance ramp and we see Chris Madison standing with his head bowed under a black towel, wearing an official FGA licensed t-shirt that says, "Always Ready For War," across the chest. He nods his head to the music and as the chorus breaks he rips the towel from his head and tosses it into the live audience, starting his way down the ramp toward, the ring.

J.A. Aldridge: And her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Frankie Morrison! From Long Island, New York! Weighing in at 220 pounds! He is the reigning, defending FGA Pride Champion! He is “Mayhem” CHRIIIIIISSSS MAAAADISOOONNNNN!!!

Madison makes it to the base of the steps and places one foot down before scoping out the fans directly behind him by peering over his shoulder. He smirks as the live audience sings along to the entrance music and then marches up the steps and climbs through the ropes. He immediately leaps up onto the middle rope and faces out towards the crowd. He brings his fists up to his face and punches his jaw with each hand before shooting his arms out horizontally with his hands wide open, welcoming whatever challenge is coming his way. Madison hops backwards, bouncing off of his feet and turns towards the center of the ring, snarling and ready to go...

Kris Cruise: The last time we heard from Chris Madison, he had a lot of complimentary things to say about Taylor.

Stephy Auger: Yeah, because he’s trying to save face. That was the tune that he was singing a few weeks back when he was talking about how she wasn’t ready for a match like this. He’s just trying to save himself from the beating that he’s going to get here tonight. Chris Madison made things personal with the words that actually came out of his mouth. It was probably one of the few moments when having someone like Morrison around would have been justified. Madison? He dug his own grave. Tonight, he gets buried in it.

The bell sounds as both grapplers stand in the center of the ring staring each other down. Madison continues to stand his ground while Taylor’s widen narrow. The ref instructs for the two to shake hands. Despite the words that have been said between both sides in the buildup, Madison is willing to put the issue to the side to shake Taylor’s hand. Taylor responds by slapping the taste out of Madison’s mouth, resulting in boos from the crowd.

Kris Cruise: What a slap by Savannah Taylor!

Stephy Auger: Madison’s lucky she didn’t rock him with another punch like she did two weeks ago!

When Madison turns back to Taylor, the Las Vegas Siren nails him with three elbows smashes to the face. She then turns and runs into the ropes. When Taylor returns, Madison throws out a running clothesline. But Taylor ducks and stops while Madison’s momentum takes him into the ropes. When Madison returns, the crowd boos when Taylor knocks him down with a spinning backfist.


Stephy Auger: Desert Rose!

Kris Cruise: Madison just got dropped! Taylor’s going for the cover!

Taylor picks up Madison, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. She then pulls his head back before slamming him face-first into the top turnbuckle again. After turning Madison around, Taylor delivers another flurry of elbow smashes before stomping Madison down in the corner. She then chokes Madison while the ref gives her until the count of five to break the choke.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Taylor reluctantly breaks the choke. She then delivers a face wash before nailing Madison with a hard toe kick to the face. Taylor mocks Madison before nudging his head with the sole of her boot. She nudges Madison’s head again before nailing him with another hard toe kick to the face.

Kris Cruise: My goodness, do you hear the THUD from those kicks to the face!?

Stephy Auger: I sure do! Madison had this coming when he crossed the line like he did!

Taylor reaches down, brings Madison back up in the corner and delivers a blistering knife edge chop. Taylor smacks Madison upside the head before delivering another blistering chop. After another smack upside the head, Madison takes Taylor and tosses her into the corner. The crowd cheers as Madison sends Taylor slumping down into the corner with a flurry of elbow smashes of his own. He then reaches down, yanks up Taylor and whips her into the opposite corner. He then charges across the ring and goes to take her head off with a running yakuza kick. But at the last second, Taylor drops down to the canvas and slips out to the floor. The crowd boos as Taylor puts her arms up and begins to walk around ringside.

Kris Cruise: Look at Taylor retreating to the outside!

Stephy Auger: As she should! Did you want her to just stand there and get hit!?

As Taylor continues to circle the ring, she stops once she sees Madison heading over towards the ropes. Cheers and laughter come from the crowd when he sits down on the middle rope and holds the top rope up for Taylor. The Las Vegas Siren narrows her eyes as she continues to circle the ring.

Kris Cruise: Savannah Taylor’s taken exception to that gentlemanly gesture from Chris Madison!

Stephy Auger: Oh please, you can’t be serious! He was clearly taunting!

Once Taylor heads to the opposite side of the ring, she stops once she sees Madison head over, sit down on the middle rope and push the top rope up. She then reaches into to grab Madison’s ankle. But Madison wisely gets out of the way. Madison motions for her to bring it. So Taylor rolls back in, only to quickly roll back out to restart the count. She’s met with a chorus of boos from the crowd.

Kris Cruise: It doesn’t look like Taylor wants any part of Madison.

Stephy Auger: If that’s what you see, then I would suggest you get your eyes checked.

Taylor continues to circle the ring before quickly reaching over and grabbing a hold of Frankie Morrison.

Kris Cruise: Hey hey hey!

Madison quickly rushes over towards the ropes. As soon as Madison steps through the ropes, Taylor shoves Morrison away from her.

Kris Cruise: That was uncalled for! What the heck was that for!

Madison checks to see if Morrison is okay from the apron. Once Morrison lets him know that he’s good, Madison turns back to Taylor and shakes his head with disgust. Taylor then climbs back up only to the apron before slowly stepping back inside.

Kris Cruise: You want to talk about making things personal? Taylor just made things personal.

Stephy Auger: How? By grabbing Frankie Morrison? Don’t be so sensitive, Cruise.

Both grapplers continue to circle the ring. They then inch over to lock up. But Taylor doubles Madison over with a boot to the midsection. After cracking Madison in the face with an elbow smash, Taylor takes the Pride Champion and whips him into the ropes. When Madison returns, Taylor knocks him down with a running hip attack. She makes the cover.

Madison kicks out.

Taylor picks up Madison, moves him against the ropes and nails him with a hard knee to the midsection. She then nails Madison with another hard knee before stepping back and knocking him through the ropes with a knee lift. While Madison tries to shake off the cobwebs on the apron, Taylor reaches her leg throws the ropes and stomps away on Madison’s head. She then steps out onto the apron and picks up the champion. After doubling him over with another knee, she sets him up for a DDT. But before Taylor can plant him on the apron, Madison counters with a release northern lights suplex off the apron and to the floor. The crowd cheers as Taylor holds her lower back.

Kris Cruise: Taylor planted on planted Madison right onto the hardest part of the ring with a DDT. But Madison had other plans!

After shaking out the cobwebs, Madison marches over, picks up Taylor and rolls her back inside. As soon as Madison rolls back in, Taylor returns to her feet and nails him with stomps to the midsection. She then picks up Madison and goes for an irish whip. But Madison reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Taylor returns, she goes for a Lou Thesz Press. But Madison catches her in mid air.

Stephy Auger: Uh oh…

Kris Cruise: “Uh oh” is right! This doesn’t look good for Taylor!

Taylor shakes her head while Madison carries her across the ring before jumping up and driving Taylor down her with a takedown. The cheer continue as he makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Madison nearly drove Taylor through the ring with that hard takedown!

Madison picks up Taylor, moves her into the corner and delivers a series of shoulder thrusts to the midsection. After delivering a series of clubbing shots across the back, Madison brings Taylor from out of the corner and hooks her arms. He then looks around at the crowd before lifting her up across his shoulder. The crowd cheers as Madison has her up in a double underhook Canadian backbreaker rack. The cheers continue while Taylor groans from the hold. The ref asks Taylor if she wants to give up. When Taylor refuses, Madison delivers a Colt 45 Backbreaker. He makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Madison nearly snapped Taylor in half with that backbreaker. That move will definitely slow things down for the Las Vegas Siren, which plays right into Madison’s hands.

Stephy Auger: Don’t get ahead of yourself, Cruise. It’s still early. This match could go all three falls. It’s not over yet.

Madison picks up Taylor, grabs her by the back of the tights with one hand and then uses his other arm to nail her with a forearm strike to the lower back. He then delivers another forearm strike… and another. After a knee to the lower back, Madison doubles her over with a clubbing strike to the back of the neck. He then yanks up Taylor before throwing her down with a pumphandle slam. The cheers continue as he makes the cover.

Taylor gets her shoulder up.

Kris Cruise: Taylor was a little slower to get that shoulder up, Stephy. I think she’s starting to get worn down.

Stephy Auger: Stop trying to speak that into existence.

Kris Cruise: I’m simply calling the action.

Madison picks up Taylor and positions her for a German Suplex. But Taylor blocks with an elbow to the face. Madison tries to lift her up for another German Suplex. But again, Taylor blocks with another elbow to the face. After a third elbow, Taylor performs a standing witch, grabs Madison from behind, runs and throws him shoulder-first into the ring post.

Kris Cruise: Oh my! Did you heard that!? Madison’s shoulder just collided with the steel ring post! That can’t be good for the champion, especially this early in the match!

The boos continue while Madison groans. She then runs up from behind and rolls him up with a schoolboy.

Kris Cruise: Madison kicked out!

Stephy Auger: Did you see that? Frankie Morrison just interfered in the match!

Kris Cruise: Interfered!? He knocked Taylor’s feet off the ropes! He stopped her from cheating to steal the first fall!

Stephy Auger: Yeah, that means he interfered, Cruise!

Taylor returns to her feet and turns around before kicking the ropes, causing Morrison to take a few steps back. The Las Vegas Siren sneers at Morrison before turning her attention back to the champion.

Kris Cruise: She’s got some evil intentions behind those eyes...

Madison continues to favor his left shoulder before Taylor stomping away at him. The challenger brings Madison back to his feet and tries to yank the shoulder from out of its socket. Taylor then delivers an arm wrench, which causes Madison to cringe. After delivering a clubbing strike across the shoulder, Taylor delivers a hard arm wrench. The ref asks Madison if he wants to give up. When he refuses, Taylor delivers an armbreaker across her shoulder, sending Madison staggering into the ropes. Taylor then heads over and applies a hammerlock around the top rope. The ref then gives her until the count of five to release the hold.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

Taylor steps back and delivers a front kick to the back of the shoulder, dropping Madison down to one knee. As Madison goes to use his free arm to pull himself up using the rope, Taylor turns him around and connects with the Foot Fetish (jumping spinning back kick), knocking Madison through the ropes and onto the apron.

Kris Cruise: Wait a second! Did Savannah Taylor just steal one of Cordy Stevenson’s trademark moves!? Wasn’t screwing her out of the World Championship and injuring her bad enough?

Stephy Auger: So what? It’s not like Cordy’s ever going to come back and do anything. She’s too scared too!

While Madison goes to pull himself up using the top rope, Taylor runs into the far ropes. When she returns, she slides to the outside, grabs Madison’s ankle and yanks him off the apron. After Madison smacks his face against the apron on the way down, Taylor quickly grabs him before planting him with a DDT on the floor.

The boos continue as Taylor picks up Madison and rolls him back inside. She then slides back in and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: That’s two rope breaks gone, Cruise! He’s only got one more left!

Taylor picks up Madison, moves him into the corner and nails him with another chop before sending him into the far corner. She then runs across the ring and throws out a yakuza kick. But Madison catches her foot. The crowd cheers when Madison moves Taylor from out of the corner before shoving her down to the canvas. As Taylor rolls up, Madison rushes over and throws out a discus elbow strike. But Taylor ducks. When Madison turns around, he gets caught with a roundhouse kick to the face. While Madison is stunned, Taylor turns and runs into the ropes. When she returns, the crowd erupts with boos when taylor plants him with Head Over Heels (Blockbuster DDT).

Kris Cruise: Taylor just stole another one of Stevenson’s moves from her! The audacity of this woman!

Stephy Auger: I know, isn’t it great!?

Madison gets his good shoulder up.

Taylor takes Madison arm, bends it at 90 degrees, puts his palm down on the canvas and delivers a jumping stomp to the elbow. The crowd boos while Madison clutches his arm.

As Madison turns over gets up on one his feet, Taylor begins nudging him in the face with the sole of her boot. She then turns and runs into the ropes. When Taylor returns, Madison leaps up to his feet, lifts her up, turns and throws her down with a spinebuster. The crowd cheers as he rolls across Taylor and hooks the leg.

Kris Cruise: Taylor got caught with that spinebuster and it nearly cost her the first fall of this contest!

As both grapplers get back to their feet, Madison lunges forward and nails Taylor head a headbutt. He then lunges forward and cracks Taylor with another headbutt, sending the Las Vegas Siren stumbling back into the ropes. Taylor then bounces off the ropes, comes back and connects with a yakuza kick, knocking Madison down. After a shoot kick to the midsection doubles him over, Taylor turns and runs into the ropes. When she returns, she goes for a Curb Stomp. But Madison slips out from of the way, grabs her from behind and delivering a backwards roll into a bridging German Suplex.

Again, Madison doesn’t let go of the waist lock!! After taking a few seconds to rest, Madison slowly pulls Taylor back to her fEeT. Madison goes for another German, but Taylor blocks with an elbow to the face. She then delivers three more elbows. Once the hold is broken, Taylor motions to run into the ropes. But Madison quickly turns her around, doubles her over with a kick to the midsection and follows up with a guillotine choke.

Kris Cruise: Madison’s got her in the choke! He’s got the choke locked in!

Madison tries to cinch in the hold. But Taylor is able to break his grip, spin out and follows up with a single arm DDT.

Stephy Auger: He was using that weakened arm, Cruise! He didn’t have the strength to fully lock it in!

While Madison slowly turns over onto his back and clutches his arm, Taylor heads out onto the apron. She then scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and crashes on top of Madison with a Frog Splash. The boos continues as she hooks the leg.

Taylor steps back out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. She then leaps off for another Frog Splash. But this time, she ends up crashes across Madison’s knees to an explosion of cheers.

Stephy Auger: Gah!

After bouncing off of Madison’s knees, Taylor curls up. The Las Vegas Siren cringes as Madison slowly turns over onto a knee. As Taylor begins to pull herself up using the ropes, Madison marches over, grabs her from behind and pulls her off the ropes. He then throws out Comatosed (ripcord rolling elbow). But Taylor ducks and counters with the Blonde Ambition (forward russian legsweep). The boos continue as Taylor heads back out onto the apron before heading to the top turnbuckle. When Madison gets back to his feet, Taylor flips off before bringing him down with the Snake Eyes (diving somersault hurricanrana). Taylor hooks the leg before leaning forward.

Kris Cruise: I can tell you what isn’t great and that’s mocking Cordy Stevenson by stealing her own moves from her.

Stephy Auger: Oh really? Well if Cordy has such a problem with it, then she cam come back and stop her. But she doesn’t want to do that because she knows that the moment she steps to the Las Vegas Siren, Taylor will put her right back on the disabled list!

Kris Cruise: You are truly something else. I sometimes wonder if you even believe half the stuff you say!

The bell sounds to end the mandatory rest period. Taylor then runs over and connects with a dropkick that knocks Madison into the corner. The boos continue as the Las Vegas Siren marches into the corner and unleashes a series of shoot kicks to the chest, followed by a flurry of elbow smashes. She then takes Madison and whips him into the opposite corner. Taylor points to the opposite corner before charging across the ring and connects with a corner yakuza kick. After Madison crumbles from out of the corner, Taylor drags him into position before heading out to the apron and climbing up to the top turnbuckle.

Kris Cruise: Taylor’s going to the top again!

Taylor leaps off and connects with another Frog Splash. The boos continue as she hooks the leg.

After a kick to the midsection, Madison grabs Taylor, runs and tosses her through the ropes and onto the apron. While Madison turns and grabs a hold of his arm, Taylor pulls herself up on the apron before running across and climbing to the top turnbuckle.

Kris Cruise: Taylor goes right back to the top turnbuckle. What is she going to do here?

When Madison turns around, the crowd boos when Taylor knocks him down with a missile dropkick. She makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: Good! I think it’s great!

Taylor picks Madison, whips him across the ring and follows him into the corner before connecting with a running hip strike. She then goes to follow up with a running bulldog from out of the corner. But Madison shoves her off of him and into the ropes. When Taylor returns, the crowd cheers when Madison tackles her down with a Lou Thesz Press and follows up with 12-to-6 elbows to the face. Madison gets off of Taylor and heads into the corner before clutching his arm.

Kris Cruise: Madison just stopped Taylor’s momentum with those vicious elbows.

Madison heads back over as Taylor is starting to pick herself back up. Before she can attack, Madison applies a Muay Thai Clinch and moves her into the corner before delivering knees to the midsection. He then follow up with a jumping knee to the face that dazes the challenger. While Taylor is still rocked, Madison heads back towards the center of the ring. He then charges into the corner before connecting with a running yakuza kick that sends Taylor crumbling from out of the corner. The cheers continue as Madison steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. He leaps off and goes for a diving double foot stomp. But Taylor rolls out of the way. After Madison lands on his feet, he rolls forward. When Madison turns around, Taylor runs over and throws out the Desert Rose. But Madison ducks and slaps on a Sleeper Hold from behind.

Stephy Auger: GAH!

Kris Cruise: Sleeper hold! Madison’s got her locked in the sleeper!

The crowd goes wild as Madison fights for the submission. The ref asks Taylor if she wants to give up. But Taylor refuses. She tries to pull Madison’s arm from around her neck. But it’s to no avail. Madison then squeezes tighter as Taylor begins to panic.

Kris Cruise: Taylor realizes she’s in no man’s land! If she gets put to sleep her, this match is tied up at 1-1!

Stephy Auger: C’mon, Taylor, you can get out of this!

Madison continues to squeeze as hard as he can. After Taylor drops down to one knee, she slowly begins to pull his arm from around her neck. So Madison quickly switches arms and slaps on another Sleeper.

Kris Cruise: Now Madison’s got the sleeper applied with the good arm! It’s all but over, Stephy!

Stephy Auger: NO, NO, NO!

Madison squeezes tighter while Taylor can be seen cringing while she reaches out towards the ropes. When the ref asks her if she wants to give up, but refuses. So Madison yanks her back to her feet before throwing her down with a Sleeper Suplex. He turns around, pulls Taylor over and makes the cover.

Madison picks up Taylor and puts her in another Muay Thai Clinch. Taylor tries to wrestle her way out. But she gets hit with knees to the body before bringing brought down with a flying armbar. The crowd cheers as Madison tries to lock on the submission. But Taylor keeps her hands clasped. Madison then begins to pull back before yanking back, breaking the grip and fully locking on the armbar.

Kris Cruise: Madison’s got the cross armbar locked in! Taylor’s screaming in pain!

Stephy Auger: Try not to sound so happy about it!

The ref gets down and asks Taylor if she wants to quit as she’s kicking her legs.

Kris Cruise: She’s howling in pain, Stephy!

Stephy Auger: Hang on, Taylor, hang on!

The ref asks her again if she wants to give up. But she refuses. She then rolls over towards Madison and pins his shoulders to the mat.

Kris Cruise: Madison’s trying to snap that arm in two! If Taylor doesn’t tap out, then Madison will break it! It’s not a matter of “if”, but “when”!

The ref asks Taylor if she wants to give up. But Taylor refuses. She then rolls over towards Madison and locks her hands back together. After getting back to her feet, she uses her left foot to repeatedly stomp on Madison’s face until the hold is broken. She then staggers over into the ropes before shaking off her right arm.

Stephy Auger: Phew!

As Madison picks himself back up, Taylor marches over and delivers a kick to the midsection. She then sets him up for a DDT. But Madison rams her back-first into the turnbuckles. As Madison steps back towards the center of the ring, he charges back into the corner. But Taylor knocks him back with a back elbow to the face. She then runs over to the corner to attack. Madison goes to cut her off with a boot to the midsection. But Taylor catches his foot. She then swings his leg away from her, hooks his arms from behind and tries to bring him down with a backslide pin. The cheers on Madison as she tries to his damndest to remain on his feet. He then lunges forward, sending Taylor rolling over his back and landing in front of him. As Taylor motions towards him, the crowd cheers when Madson cracks her with a running bicycle knee. While the challenger is dazed, Madison delivers a backwards rolls, brings Taylor back to her feet and goes to follow up with a bridging German Suplex. But Taylor counters with a wheelbarrow victory roll!

Kris Cruise: There it is! The Peruvian Necktie! Now Taylor’s really in trouble!

Stephy Auger: NOOOOO!

The crowd is on their feet while the champion’s got the submission applied. Madison squeezes as places his right leg across Taylor’s back while putting his left leg over her head. The ref gets down and asks Taylor if she wants to give up. She continues to try and fight her way out of it. But it's to no avail. Sensing that there’s no escape, Taylor reluctantly taps out to an explosion of cheers from the crowd.

But Taylor stops and counters with a DDT. She turns over and makes the cover.

Stephy Auger: Why not!? It’s already been weakened! She’d be a fool not to!

Taylor rolls to the outside, grabs Madison by both wrists and yanks him shoulder-first into the ring post. She then takes Madison by the arm and swings it hard against the ring post. Taylor takes his arm, brings it back and then swings it hard against the ring post again. Boos reverberates throughout Staples Center as Madison groans in agony. Taylor then quickly unwraps the tape from around her wrists and ties Madison’s wrists together around the ring post.

Kris Cruise: What is Savannah Taylor doing!?

Stephy Auger: She’s trapping Madison around the ringpost!

While Madison is trapped, Taylor turns her attention towards Morrison.

Kris Cruise: Oh no! Oh God no!

Taylor points at Morrison before rushing over towards him.

Kris Cruise: No, Taylor, don’t do this!

Morrison readies himself for the attack. But its to no avail as Taylor flattens him with a running yakuza kick. A large chorus of boos rain down upon the challenger as she puts the boots to Morrison. Madison looks over and sees Morrison getting attacked by Taylor. He then slips to the outside and tries to help his manager. But he quickly realizes that his wrists are tied around the ringpost.

Stephy Auger: Going somewhere, Maddy? HA!

Kris Cruise: There’s nothing funny about this.

Taylor picks up Madison by his shirt collar before doubling him over with a hard punch to the gut. Morrison collapses onto all fours before Taylor knocks him onto his back with a punt kick to the ribs.

Kris Cruise: My God, what a kick by Taylor! She might have broken a rib!

The sight of Morrison getting attacked sets Madison off. He then lets out a yell as he rips his wrists free of the table. He then charge over at Taylor and tackles her down with a Lou Thesz Press. The crowd cheers when he hammers away at Taylor with 12-to-6 elbows to the face.

Kris Cruise: Madison’s had enough of Taylor and her crap!

Madison pulls up talor by the hair before whipping her hard into the guardrail. While Taylor arches her back, Madison charges down ringside and connects with a yakuza kick, knocking Taylor over the guardrail and into the crowd. The champion reaches over the rail, pulls Taylor back to her feet, lifts her up and throws her down across the top of the rail with a front suplex. While Taylor hangs helpless across the guardrail, Madison marches down ringside, turns around, charges back over towards Taylor and clocks her with a running bicycle knee to the side of the head, knocking Taylor off the rail and down to the floor. The cheers continue as Madison pulls up a dazed Taylor and cracks her across the face with an elbow smash. After turning taylor around, Madison hooks her from behind before delivering a Millennium Suplex (crossface chickenwing suplex) across the steel steps. The cheers when as Taylor bounces off the steps before falling back to the floor.

Stephy Auger: He’s lost it! He’s absolutely lost it!

Madison picks up Taylor, slams her face-first onto the apron and shoves her back inside. After rolling back in, Madison picks up Taylor and whips her into the ropes. When she returns, Madison leans forward, lifts her up onto his shoulders, turns and throws her down with authority using an Alabama Slam. While Taylor is sprawled out on the mat, Madison steps out onto the apron and scales to the top turnbuckle. The crowd cheers as he leaps off and crashes on top of Taylor with a diving double foot stomp.

Kris Cruise: Madison might have stomped the air right out of Taylor!

Madison picks up Taylor, grabs her from behind and then knocks her down with Comatosed! The cheers continue when Madison brings Taylor back to her feet before lifting her up onto his shoulders.

Kris Cruise: This is it right here, Stephy! Madison could be second away from retaining his cham-

Just before Madison was about to deliver the End Game (electric chair bridging german suplex), Taylor nails him with repeatedly elbow strikes to the top of the head. After slipping down in front of Madison, Taylor runs towards the ropes before knocking him down with The Beautiful Nightmare (disaster kick). The crowd erupts with boos as she makes the cover.

Kris Cruise: Taylor steals yet another one of Stevenson’s moves! She makes the cover!

While Madison lays in the prone position, Taylor steps out onto the apron, scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and crashes across his back with a Frog Splash. After turning Madison over onto his back, Taylor hops through the ropes onto the apron, scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and goes for another Frog Splash. But Madison rolls out of the way, causing Taylor to crash onto the canvas.

Kris Cruise: Nobody was home! Taylor missed!

The fans in attendance cheer and stomp their feet and both champion and challenger begin to get back to a vertical base. After a kick to the midsection doubles Taylor over, Madison places her in a standing guillotine, sins in place and then lifts her off the mat as he gains momentum.

Kris Cruise: Madison’s got the helicopter Guillotine locked on!

The crowd begins to chant with each rotation.

Crowd: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SE-

Madison lets go once he sees a masked individual dressed in all black leap up onto the apron.

Kris Cruise: What the heck is this?

Stephy Auger: I’m just as lost as you are.

The individual points at the ref beforepointing at Madison. While the ref instructs the individual to go to the back, taylor quickly spins Madison around, doubles him over with a kick to the midsection and plants him with the Siren’s Song (Scissored DDT).

Kris Cruise: I don’t know who that is! But they just distracted Madison long enough to get caught with the Siren’s Song! Taylor is second away from stealing this match and the title...

The boos continue as Taylor gets handed the Pride Championship belt. Taylor snatches it away from the referee before holding it high in the air to boos from the crowd.

Kris Cruise: Savannah Taylor has just stolen this match and the championship from Chris Madison! Madison wanted to leave a lasting legacy! He wanted to raise the prestige of that championship and go down as the best to ever hold it! But now, all of those plans have gone up and smoke thanks to that stunt from Savannah Taylor and her cohort, whoever that was! All of Madison’s hard work to finally hold an FGA championship, only for it to end like this! It was bad enough that his year plus winning streak was snapped thanks blatant cheating! Now this garbage! I hope she’s proud of herself!

Stephy Auger: Do you think she cares what you or anyone else think? From the moment she stepped foot in FGA, she was always seen as less than! She was always given the side eye! J.A. Aldridge: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

There is silence throughout the Staples Center for several seconds after the announcement. The intro to “Can You Feel It” plays seemingly in mono over the PA system for a few moments before it slowly fades, only to be replaced with “Helter Skelter” by the Beatles. It prompts a roar from several, and immediate boos from most.

When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again…!”

Walking through the curtains, arms extended to his side is a smirking Evan Envi. The six-foot-six Frank Martel casually walks behind him, hands folded as he gazes out among the masses. Envi turns his back to the ring, flashing the leather ring jacket, decorated with an American Flag and the words “COMMANDER” at the bottom in crimson. He places a hand on Frank’s shoulder, pointing out toward several pockets of the audience before turning and sprinting to the ring. Envi leaps onto the apron, ascending to the middle turnbuckle from the outside, double “V” symbols raised high above his head before he steps onto the top turnbuckle and calmly drops down into the ring.

J.A. Aldridge: Introducing first, in the ring, hailing from Ocean City, Maryland, weighing in at two hundred and three pounds, accompanied by Frank Martel, he is “The Chief” EVAAAN ENNNVIIIIII!

Stephy Auger: His first match back in two months, Cruise, after being nearly murdered by Noelle Smith!

Kris Cruise: The Chief’s moving pretty well for someone that supposedly spent the better part of six weeks in a body cast.

Stephy Auger: Supposedly?!

The Chief mouths off to hecklers in the front of the audience before “Buttons” by the Pussycat Dolls starts to play over the PA, and the lights dim as Noelle steps from behind the curtain, a wide smile on her face as she waves to the fans before doing a few provocative dance moves as the lyrics cue up. Next to her stands one of her two identical sisters, with a stern look on her face. Some of the fans in attendance pop loud for her throwback music and she waves to them.

J.A. Aldridge: Now making her way to the ring from Orlando Florida and being accompanied by Summerlyn-Shae... NOELLE SMITH!

She does an athletic handspring forward to take her half down the ramp and then rushes the ring, using her hands to push her up onto the apron as she slides under the bottom rope and pops up, giggling and blowing kisses to the fans, winking at the referee and waving to the ring announcers cheerily. Her sister comes down at a much more sedate pace, her expression stays fierce as she approaches the ring but stays outside near the steps.

Kris Cruise: Noelle Smith looks as confident as ever here, but Summerlyn-Shae looks prepared for this as if she’s going to war alongside her sister.

Stephy Auger: She’d better be prepared to! Because Envi has no problem fighting their whole family!

The bell sounds to an audible roar from the audience. Envi’s curious expression evolves into a wide smirk and Noelle [Noelle’s reaction at the start of this]. The two go to lock up, but Envi quickly powers Noelle into the corner! Noelle fights back with hard rights and lefts, connecting with several audible shots to a growing pop from the audience! Backed into the turnbuckles, she pushes herself up using the top rope and uses both feet to shove Envi back! The Chief rolls head-over-heels, but rushes back toward the corner, only to be met with a hard Sunset Flip! Noelle pins Envi to the mat!

Kris Cruise: She-- did she get him?! That quick?!

Stephy Auger: No!

Frank Martel stands, arms folded near the commentary table, though his eyes remain glued on Summerlyn-Shae, who grins devilishly as she yells something at Noelle Smith, who catches the rising Evan Envi with a hard right hand to the face, sending a sickening shot throughout the arena!

Kris Cruise: WHAT a right hand by Noelle!

Envi stumbles back… but rebounds off the ropes and delivers a Toe Kick to Noelle’s gut! Noelle drops to a knee, but quickly pushes herself back, out of the way of a Kapowski Kick! Envi glares at Smith and rushes forward for a Running Back Elbow, yet Smith side-steps, going to hook Envi for a Backslide! Envi fights it as he arches back… and with a loud cry, he throws himself forward, onto his feet, hooking Noelle for the Backslide instead-- but she flips over his back, landing in front of him! Both competitors leap upright for a Dropkick, their soles connecting! Envi and Smith both land on their stomachs, quickly kipping back up to their feet to the delight of the LA crowd! Envi smirks at Smith, backing into the corner, narrowing his eyes at her as he regroups.

Kris Cruise: You know that Evan has been waiting for this - everything that came before, all led us to this very moment! Like him or loathe him, he’s putting it all on the line here tonight!

Stephy Auger: That’s remarkably unbiased of you to say, Kris. I’m semi-impressed!

Evan charges in and catches Noelle with a series of solid forearm shots, before he grabs her by the wrists and spins with her, going into a full 360 revolution before he releases her for a hard Irish whip! Noelle turns on the rebound and comes back with a high knee, but Evan grabs her by the upper arms and lifts, tossing her back first into the turnbuckles! She arches and sags, her arms on the top rope keeping her up as Evan measures the distance and takes a run straight at her only to take a boot to the chest! Evan groans and seems to stagger back but as Noelle comes out of the corner he dips in and catches her with a fast jumping cutter!

Keeping his cool Evan gets up and backs away for a running start, he goes right at Noelle as if to deliver a standing Shooting Star Press but at the last instant leans down and grabs Noelle up into a seated position and slaps her across the face as the fans ”OOOOOH…” in reaction!

Kris Cruise: Is that really necessary?

Stephy Auger: Obviously, Cruise, what the hell? Break them down, piece by piece! Start with the mind and the body will follow!

Evan looks out into the audience with narrowed eyes, watching as Noelle pulls herself up to her feet. Envi grabs a handful of hair and rushes Noelle into the corner, temple-first into the top to boos from the audience. He spins her around, rearing back and delivering a loud chop to the chest! A ”WOOOOOO!” shoots through the audience, though Evan shout for them to “shut up!” earning an overwhelmingly negative response. He goes to Irish Whip Noelle-- but she clutches onto the top rope, managing to stop him! Evan stumbles back toward her, losing his footing, and Noelle pulls him close for a jumping knee to the gut! Envi hunches over in pain and Noelle kicks him back as she pushes herself onto the second turnbuckle. She leaps up to the top, springboarding off for a Front Dropkick to Envi!

Kris Cruise: Remarkable athleticism by the former Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion!

The audience roars as Noelle rises back to her feet, waving Envi up as well. Envi turn around and Noelle goes for a roundhouse kick!...

...but Envi drops to his back and rolls out of the ring.

”BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Kris Cruise: And Evan looks to be buying a conveniently-timed breather here…

Stephy Auger: Have you ever read about ANY great war, Cruise? You step back. You observe. You strategize. Then you strike. This is where the Chief observes!

Envi whispers something toward Frank, pausing only to warn Summerlyn to “stay back!” Summerlyn gets in the face of the Chief, who simply holds out his arms, inviting her to strike him!

Kris Cruise: Envi needs to keep an eye on his opponent!

Noelle has her hands on her hips as all this happens and the fans suddenly roar as she climbs up to the top turnbuckle and leaps off with a huge crossbody that wipes out Evan and Summerlyn! Summerlyn’s boot clips Frank and he staggers back to check his knee as Noelle rolls off the dogpile and lays on the mat-covered concrete floor! The referee leans over the top rope and warns Evan and Noelle to get back in the ring even though neither of them moves as yet. Frank shakes out his leg and carefully rolls Evan off of Summerlyn without touching her or Noelle, the referee indicates he’s watching as he starts a count.

Kris Cruise: If he interferes the ref is going to send him backstage and then Evan’s going to be all alone out here with a pissed off Noelle Smith and…

Evan gets to his feet, he shakes his head as if he bonked it on something, possibly Summerlyn’s head, and he waves off Frank’s support as Noelle gets up to her hands and knees, then up on her knees. He shoves off of Frank at this point and catches Noelle with a running cutter! She hits the floor hard and is still as he gets his hands up under her arms and lifts her almost tenderly to the apron and then shoves hard to roll her under the bottom rope and back into the ring, breaking the count! He looks around as the fans boo him heavily, he shouts at them to shut up again before he heaves himself up onto the apron and slides into the ring himself. Evan steps forward and reaches down, grabbing a handful of Noelle’s hair-- but he’s caught with an Inside Cradle!

Stephy Auger: Ah! Fruit Roll-Up!

Kris Cruise: And a kickout-- with a look of absolute panic on the face of the Chief.

Envi staggers back into the ropes as he hops to his feet. He rushes at Noelle again, going for a straight kick toward her head but Noelle throws herself to the canvas and rolls to her feet behind Envi. He catches her with a Mule Kick and shoots the ropes-- only to be nailed with an Enzuigiri upon the rebound. Envi falls to a knee, though just as quickly rises back upright albeit groggy. Noelle takes a step forward and blasts him with a roundhouse kick that sends Envi to the mat! It prompts a roar from the audience and Noelle catches her breath for just a second before stepping out to the apron, slowly turning to narrow her eyes at the rising Evan Envi. Noelle leaps to the top rope, nailing a Springboard Knee Strike that catches Envi flush in the jaw, knocking him onto his back! Noelle lands awkwardly after connecting, grimacing as her foot comes down onto the canvas. Shaking it off she turns, sliding into a cover with a hook to the near leg!

Stephy Auger: Get up, Chief!

Kris Cruise: Noelle landed funny on that left foot but she may have scored the knockout shot!

Kris Cruise: And a quick kickout by Envi, but Noelle is favoring that ankle. She might want to hide the injury from Camp Envi if at all possible.

Noelle rolls to the ropes, pulling herself upright. Envi reaches a knee and Noelle takes advantage with a Single-Leg Dropkick to the back of the head, sending Envi forward-- though once again, Envi rolls from the ring, out to the apron. He tries to wave Noelle off, but she reaches through the ropes, pulling him between the top and middle in a version of the Muay Thai Clinch, hitting a series of stiff knees to his upper-body to the delight of LA!

Stephy Auger: REF!

Once she feels he’s suitably softened, Noelle pulls him through the ropes and seems to be setting him up for a rope-hung version of her swinging neckbreaker, Swing, Set, Match! But as she steps back her ankle gives and her arm comes down to club his upper back and neck as she falls to her butt on the mat. Half in and half out of the ring he limply slides over the rope to land on the mat inside, Noelle slides over still on the mat and rolls him to his back, hooking the near leg!

Evan twitches after the kickout at two, still unmoving and Noelle sits up, rotates her ankle and gets to her feet, testing her weight. Satisfied for the moment she toes at Evan with her boot, convinced that he’s playing a bit of opossum but he never stirs! Noelle takes a deep breath and goes for the corner, going up for a rare top rope move but as she steps up onto the turnbuckle to boost herself up Evan is there and grips her around the waist and throws her with a huge ura-nage! Evan pops up with his arms out to either side and swivels his hips, obviously feeling himself at the moment before he points at his temple to indicate that he’s so smart! The fans boo his showboating heavily but he rolls his eyes and rips Noelle up off the mat and takes her right back down with a sambo suplex!

Stephy Auger: Oh ho ho, Evan back in the driver’s seat where he belongs!

Kris Cruise: He needs to stop with the gloating and make the pin, this is worse than a villain monologuing in the middle of a fight!

Stephy Auger: You’ve been watching The Incredibles again, haven’t you Kris.

Noelle climbs to her feet and Envi hits a Belly-to-Belly Suplex! He beckons her to her feet once more and nails a release Snap Suplex, earning a gasp from the crowd. Noelle’s feet clip the middle rope on the way down and she again grabs her left ankle in pain, causing Envi to raise a brow. Envi smirks a bit and rises upright, forcing Noelle up by the wrist. He hoists her up for a Shinbreaker, bringing her left foot down across his knee! Noelle howls in pain and stumbles into the corner where Envi rushes in and follows up with another chop, earning another ”WOOOOO!” He goes to Irish Whip Noelle again, but she leaps into the air as she passes him and drives him to the mat with a Hurricanrana! The audience roars as Envi tumbles through the move and to his feet! Noele follows up with a Lariat, and finally a second, but as Envi reaches his feet a third time he nails a low Dropkick right to the left calf of Noelle! Noelle’s knees buckle and she cries out in pain!

Kris Cruise: Envi pinpointed that injury and now he can’t unsee it! Noelle Smith might be in a bad way if Envi manages to catch his breath here.

Stephy Auger: It’s no less than she deserves for everything she’s done to our poor Chief!

Kris Cruise: The only thing in her favor here is that she was lucky enough that it’s her left leg, considering her history of knee injuries with the right. That’s not much but it’s something!

Evan rolls up to his feet and as Noelle’s knees hit the mat before she can check her leg he bowls her over and into a stretch muffler, though when he moves to kick her he suddenly howls and rears back, releasing her and scooting backwards on the mat! He levels a finger at Noelle, shrieking that she tried to bite him! Noelle sits up in clear pain, her hands moving to her calf and ankle to try and massage some life back into them but she shakes her head as the referee looks at her and swears up and down that she certainly did not try and bite Evan, that it’s all in his head! As Noelle starts to rise Evan rushes at her for a step up hurricanrana, but Noelle rolls through and to her feet near the ropes, she grabs onto the top one to steady herself as Evan kips up! He has her hemmed in the corner, no matter which way she seems to want to go, he’s there until out of desperation Noelle plants her right foot and brings her left knee up into his gut for a Muay thai high knee, though it clearly doesn’t pack her usual sting it’s enough to back off Envi.

Stephy Auger: Come on Chief, it’s time to end this, you can do it!

Envi shakes out the cobwebs and staggers toward Noelle again but a forearm to the bridge of the nose backs him up. Noelle backs into the corner and hops onto the second turnbuckle, diving off for a Flying Clothesline! Envi scrambles to his feet and Noelle matches pace, blasting him with a Discus Forearm to a pop from Los Angeles! Envi hits the canvas, but before Noelle can capitalize, he rolls out to the apron! Noelle goes to grab Envi through the ropes once again, but the ref backs her off with a warning. As he does, however, Summerlyn yanks Envi’s ankles, ripping him from the apron to a pop from the crowd! Envi’s jaw bounces off the canvas and he falls to the floor. Frank Martel strides toward Summerlyn-Shae, but she backtracks away from him with a broad smile.

Stephy Auger: I bet you support that, don’t you!

Kris Cruise: It may not be fair but it is karma, let’s not deny it! And look at this!

Envi uses the ring skirt and then the bottom rope to pull himself to his feet, but Noelle Smith leaps through the middle and bottom rope, driving Envi to the ground with a Dropkick! Both Grapplers hit the ground to a roar from the audience and Noelle audibly screams out in pain! She slaps the ground but hoists herself up, throwing Envi back into the ring beneath the bottom rope! The ref checks on the Chief, and while Noelle attempts to climb the apron, Frank Martel calmly tugs on the back of her shorts, causing Noelle to land on her feet-- and howl in pain again! Frank walks away without a word and boos resonate through the Staples Center.

Stephy Auger: What was it you were saying about karma, Kris? Seems pretty even to me now!

Kris Cruise: Summerlyn looks pretty heated though. Or at least pretty. OH NO!

Evan yanks Noelle up as she tries to climb back up on the apron by the front of her ring gear, and for a moment he just gives her the most chilling stare before hauling her up roughly over the top rope and tosses her to the center of the ring. She rolls to her hands and knees, clearly unsure of gaining her feet and she keeps an eye on Evan but is unable to stop him as he goes for a grapevine anklelock! Noelle fights hard to stay out of it, booting him repeatedly with her other leg but he torques the ankle and makes her scream again before she scoots enough to grab the bottom rope! The referee informs Evan to break - and he refuses!

And he breaks the hold, scooting back as he holds his hands up to the referee and complains that not only does he have until five, that he believes that the referee is being unnecessarily bossy! His eyes dart toward Noelle again and he rushes in, grabbing her foot-- but Noelle brings both knees back and shove Envi back! Envi rolls to his feet and Noelle hobbles up as well. Envi runs forward and Noelle leaps up for another single-leg Dropkick-- but Envi stops short, allowing Noelle to land on her back! He grabs both legs and steps over the left one…

”WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”

...but before Envi can complete the Figure Four, Noelle grapevines his legs and rolls him up with a La Magistral!

Evan fights out of it, climbing up to his feet. He swings around to the rising Noelle and eats a hard slap to the jaw! Spit flies from Evan’s mouth to a roar from the audience! He’s turned around allowing Noelle to pull herself onto her shoulders and nails an Inverted Hurricanrana to a roar from the audience! Envi is spiked into the canvas, but the momentum sends him flipping back up to his feet to a roar from the crowd! Noelle rolls to hers as well and rushes forward, delivering a thunderous Swinging Neckbreaker to a roar from the audience! Envi is turned inside-out from the move, flipping onto his stomach and rolling away! Noelle clutches her ankle in agony while the Staples Center comes unglued!

Kris Cruise: If Frank Martel had more than one visible emotion, he would be horrified, seeing the Chief drilled with the Swing, Set, Match, but Noelle can’t capitalize-- yet!

Stephy Auger: The stress, the stress I just can't take it!

Kris Cruise: These two have got to be wondering what it's going to take to put a stop to this!

Noelle uses the ropes to pull herself up to her feet, her weight nearly entirely on her right leg. She spies where Evan has rolled and takes a deep breath and shoves off the ropes, a limping run to him sees her drop a knee onto his back, jarring her leg but causing him to contort with pain as he tries to escape. Noelle grabs him and forces him onto his back to grind an elbow into his sternum before hooking the leg.

Noelle sags, her forehead on his chest, then he says something the cameras don't pick up and she sits up and starts raining closed fist punches down at him, getting warned by the referee! She shoves up to her feet as Evan comes up under her guard and catches her with a big German suplex! Evan hooks his hands and pivots, forcing her up for a second-- but Noelle throws an elbow into his jaw, and then a second! She starts to limp away, but Envi grabs her from behind in a Cobra Clutch! The audience grows loud as Envi tries to secure the hold!

Stephy Auger: He can’t lock it in!

Noelle turns her body toward the nearby corner and steps up onto the second turnbuckle, shoving off to throw herself back! Envi hits the ground with Noelle’s weight on top of him! She rolls through up to her feet behind Envi! Envi sits up-- but he’s blasted with an Axe Kick! The shot echoes throughout the Staples Center and Envi goes limp, falling to his side!

Stephy Auger: GOD!

Noelle sinks into a cover, hooking the far leg!

Kris Cruise: Oh come on.

Frank Martel pulls Envi’s foot onto the bottom rope to an initial groan from the audience… but we hear the familiar crackle! of a taser and Frank recoils as a barb comes dangerously close to his hand! The audience roars as Summerlyn-Shae, weapon now in hand, shakes her head, striding after Frank. Frank takes a step back before turning, power-walking up the ramp and away from Summerlyn, who gives chase! A ”YES!” chant surfaces throughout the arena as Frank finally breaks into a sprint, disappearing behind the curtains with Summerlyn on his heels!

Stephy Auger: The Smiths are psychos, just like the Chief said!

Kris Cruise: Summerlyn and Frank are somewhere in the back-- and look! Noelle’s thinking about the end here! I think Noelle’s thinking Beauty Mark!

The audience roars as Noelle rolls out to the apron, hobbling up the turnbuckles. Envi groggily reaches his knees as Noelle shakily gets to the top…

...and Envi dives into the ropes, forcing Noelle to lose her balance! Noelle falls awkwardly on the top and Envi falls through the ropes out to the apron. Breathing heavily, he suddenly glares at Noelle and rushes forward across the ring apron, ascending the turnbuckles. The audience grows loud with a typical wrestling wind-up ”OoooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOH!” as Envi hooks Noelle in a front facelock, looking back at the apron.

Kris Cruise: What in the…

The ref screams for Envi to stop and the members of the audience come to their feet!

Stephy Auger: CHIEF, WAIT!

Envi delivers a Superplex to Noelle with both Grapplers sailing from the top rope and smashing into the ring apron! The crowd responds with a floor-shaking eruption! Smith lies motionless on the apron, foot hung up on the middle rope while Envi rolls off and falls flat to the floor.

”HOLY SHIT!”

”HOLY SHIT!”

”HOLY SHIT!”

Kris Cruise: Mother of God, Stephy! MOTHER OF GOD!

Stephy Auger: Did...did you see how hard he hit the floor? Did we just see a murder-suicide live on PPV? This is that snuff film we’ve been talking about!

Shocked, the referee slides out of the ring, gets a hand under Noelle to slide her onto the apron securely before he kneels down next to Evan to see if he's even conscious after the horrendous fall to the floor after the Superplex!

Kris Cruise: You just hate to see something like this, but I can't see the referee allowing…

Stephy Auger: He's alive! He sat up! Our glorious Chief is alive!

Noelle shivers on the apron and rolls into the ring, she lays on her side with her eyes closed as she tries to get energy from somewhere, anywhere. The fans who were murmuring as they waited to see what was going to happen actually broke into light applause as Evan used the referee to get to unsteady feet. In the ring Noelle rolls to the ropes and pulls herself up, using a hand to shade her eyes from the lights. More applause comes after the referee signals that the match is still on!

Stephy Auger: The Chief is such a pro! The show must go on!

Kris Cruise: And Noelle Smith is somehow on her feet after being on the receiving end of that Superplex!

Envi shakes on the outside of the ring, leaning his head on the apron. He slaps himself in the head a few time before rolling into the ring beneath the bottom rope. He rises to his feet and beckons Noelle forward. Smith shakes her head a bit, but limps forward and throws a vicious right hand! Envi falls to a knee but rises again! Smith throws all of her weight behind a left hand this time, catching the Chief off-guard as he goes to block a right! Noelle screams out and pulls Envi’s face down into a single, stiff knee strike! The Chief falls into the ropes and Noelle hobbles after him, throwing a flurry of knees and elbows into the entangled Envi to a steady, growing roar from the crowd! The ref warns Smith off!

”ONE!”

“FOUR!”

Noelle backs away and staggers a bit but rushes forward, hitting a jumping knee strike across the jaw of Envi! Envi looks to be out on his feet! Noelle pulls him into the ring and yanks him forward, jumping up for another high knee! Envi crashes to the ground and Noelle falls to a seated position in the corner. She pulls down her knee-pad and shakily rises to her feet once more as Envi staggers upright, hunched over-- and Noelle races across the ring, nailing a high knee strike to the temple! The shot forces Envi straight up and Noelle hits a straight kick to the jaw! Envi flips to his stomach from the impact and Noelle clutches her bad ankle, falling beside him, but she pushes Envi over, hooking the far leg!

Kris Cruise: It’s over! This audience fees it!

Kris Cruise: A kickout! Somehow, Envi is conscious!

Noelle Smith wastes no time rolling up to a knee and then hobbling to her feet! She pulls Envi upright-- but Envi delivers a kick to the injured shin of Smith Before Smith can cry out in pain, Envi nails the Scissored Double-Arm Snap DDT!

Stephy Auger: THE BLUUUUUUEEES!

Envi forces Noelle over, hooking both legs! Again, the audience counts along with the referee!

Stephy Auger: Wha-?!

Noelle throws a shoulder off of the canvas! Envi sits upright for a moment, looking absolutely distraught before he falls to the side, burying his face into one of his hands on the canvas while the Staples Center erupts into ovation.

Kris Cruise: Four years of history are culminating right here and something has to give! These two can barely stand.

Envi crawls into the corner, face beet-red as he narrows his eyes at Noelle Smith, who pushes herself to her elbows and knees. Her hair worked free, curls wet with sweat hanging in her face as she wearily sits up on her knees and takes a pair of deep breaths, her eyes hazed with pain as she pushes to her unsteady feet and just stares at Evan, trying to keep the weight off her left ankle as she lifts up her hand and makes a “come on” gesture to Evan! Evan Envi shakily yanks the ropes to pull himself to his feet. He runs toward Noelle with a yell and leaps up for an Enzuigiri-- but she does the same! Both seem to connect, but both Grapplers roll away and to their feet. Disoriented, Envi runs forward and blasts Noelle with a European Uppercut! Noelle staggers back into the ropes but comes off with a hard forearm smash to the jaw!

Stephy Auger: She’s hitting him as hard as she can! The Chief has lost enough this weekend! He doesn’t need to lose his smile too!

Noelle sinks to a knee in pain but rises up and nails a second and third forearm to Envi! Envi seems to be out on his feet and Noelle Irish Whips him. Envi rebounds with a hard European Uppercut that knocks Noelle across the ring, into the ropes! She rebounds and Envi takes her to the mat with the Kapowski Kick, his foot following her head all the way to the canvas! The ref drops down, expecting the cover, but Envi reaches down and grabs Noelle’s ankle, standing upright for an Ankle Lock! Noelle cries out in pain and Evan screams for her to “TAP!”

Stephy Auger: Listen to the Chief!

Noelle shakes her head, biting her lip. She pushes herself up onto one foot and swings, nailing another Enzuigiri to Envi! Envi goes down, but doesn’t let go of the Ankle Lock! Noelle shrieks in pain, but pushes herself up onto her palms, trying to race for the ropes! Dazed, Envi rises to his knees and then up to his feet again… but Noelle rolls forward, pinning Evan with a Victory Roll-type maneuver!

Envi throws a shoulder up, but this time Noelle Smith grabs his ankle, applying a Grapevine Ankle Lock to a roar from the crowd! Envi’s eyes widen in shock! He grabs at the referee’s shirt in desperation but the ref backs away! Envi screams out, grabbing at his own hair.

Stephy Auger: I can’t believe this!

Kris Cruise: Envi can’t either! He’s caught!

Envi screams out in agony, but digs his elbows onto the mat, crawling… crawling… and Noelle adds more torque to the move! Envi rolls onto his side, using his free foot to kick frantically at Noelle, kicking wherever he can for over ten seconds before Noelle finally releases! Noelle pushes herself up and Envi does as well, neither taking their eye off the other!

Envi rocks Nolle with a forearm to the face. Noelle rocks him back with a forearm of her own. Envi then drills her with another forearm shiver. Noelle responds by blasting him in the face with another forearm. Envi then drills Noelle with three forearms to the face. Noelle answers back by clobbering him with four fourre arms of own. After placing Envi in a Muay Thai clinch, Noelle nails Envi with repeated knees to the face. The last knee appears to have turned off the lights for The Chief. While Envi appears out on his feet, Noelle does her best to hobble into the ropes. As she bounces back, Envi ducks a blow from Noelle, hoists her up and throws her down with authority with a Uanage. The slam causes Noelle to bounces off the canvas and rolls herself into the corner. Envi narrows his eyes once he looks over and sees Noelle struggling to pull herself up using the ropes. When Noelle turns around, The Chief does his best to rush into the corner to attack. But Noelle hoists herself up into a seated position nails him with a front kick to the face, turning him away from the corner. The crowd cheers as Nolle reaches down, hooks Envi and delivers the Beauty Mark (diving somersault inverted facelock jawbreaker). The crowd cheers as Envi bounces off of Noelle’s shoulder before crumbling to the canvas. Noelle then slowly turns over and makes the cover.

Cheers and applause fill up Staples Center as the ref kneels down and raises Noelle’s arm.

Kris Cruise: It’s over, Stephy! It’s finally over! Noelle Smith has defeated Evan Envi here tonight in one hell of a matchup. For MONTHS she’s had to put up with Evan Envi and his shenanigans. But after tonight, she’ll finally be able to put Envi exactly where he belongs: behind her!

Stephy Auger: This wasn’t supposed to be like this. It was supposed to be an epic weekend for The Chief and all of Camp Envi. But now it’s gone. ALL GONE!

The scene opens up backstage where Spencer Burke is standing by a blonde woman. The camera isn’t picking up the audio but from the body language, Spencer is assuring the woman who appears to be timid. Spencer signals to the camera to come closer to sign the interview will go forward.

The blonde woman becomes apparent, it’s Delta Madison - the woman that’s in the centre of the blood feud between Stunray and Daniel Widdel. The two men had squared off for the first time last night on Night 1 of All-Star Showdown. The match didn’t even start as the hostility of the two men where an all time high as it turned into a brawl. Delta had no choice but to make her exit from the front row of the audience. Delta nods her head in approval at Spencer who gets confirmation that she wants to do this interview.

Spencer Burke: Hi, good evening everybody. I’m here with Delta Madison. The woman who has been in the centre of this rivalry between Stunray and Daniel Widdel. Delta, can we please get your thoughts of this ongoing feud and why did you leave during the course of the match?

Delta Madison: I don’t even know where to start.

Delta shook her head as her voice croaked. You could see how much coming forward to do this interview took a lot out of her.

Delta Madison: I’ve kept silent for a long while and it was for a good reason. Over a year ago I had to step away from wrestling from a serious back injury. I went into seclusion for me to start a new life away from wrestling and begin a new chapter. Unfortunately, my personal affairs are out in the open and it’s just something I can’t ignore any longer. I spent years and years to move on from all of this but this is something that always seems to come up.

Delta paused for a moment to gain composure but she sensed she was becoming overwhelmed. She needed to leave - fast.

Delta Madison: I just… I just, I don’t know. I can’t do this. I’m sorry.

Delta moves away from the camera, mouthing sorry at Spencer before making an abrupt exit. Spencer looks around disappointed, but understanding of Delta’s emotional state. A mere moments after Delta’s exit, Stunray hobbles into the scene. He stealthy walks closer staring far off into the distance when caught a glimpse of the familiar face.

Stunray: Was-- Was that Delta?

Stunray acknowledges Spencer who looks up at him. Spencer has no choice to nod in confirmation that was Delta. Without a second thought, Stunray walks in the general direction with eagerness to catch up with her.
