“Where do I even begin?” Daniel mused as he looked towards the camera.
All-Star Showdown VI was approaching rapidly and it was finally time for Daniel and Stunray to face off one on one. These two men appeared to have a storied past, allegedly a decade ordeal all started from one woman - Delta Madison. How did Delta Madison fit into this puzzle? And where exactly was she? Stunray was the one seemly obsessed with this woman. Even a decade later, he is still longing for her.
We heard Stunray’s words, claiming that Daniel and his wife Amiee took this woman away from him which appeared to be over her own free-will. Daniel hasn’t quite yet told his side of the story, and now ASSVI was on the horizon it was time.
Daniel looked casual in a light grey beanie, with his unkempt beard and a plain black T-shirt. A scar of the brass knuckles shot is visible from Daniel’s left corner of his eye.
“I remember the first time I met Stunray. It just seemed like it was an accident. It was 2003 and I was in New York starting a new life. I see a familiar face - her name is Delta Madison, an old friend of mine. Someone who, I don’t know how to explain it… Has the whole world just looking at her. She’s one of those people who has everyone talking, yet, she rather keep to herself.”
“The fateful day in New York, she’s happy to see me, but that is until this inexplicable man comes into the scene. He appears protective over her, eyeing me with his cold glare like I did something heinous. I left, thinking not much of it. I wanted nothing to do with that pompous man. I had the belief that Delta’s a grown woman, she can date whoever she wanted.”
Daniel rubbed his beard, sighing to himself. Daniel leaned back into the chair and then leaned forward, resting his elbows on his thighs, clasping his hands together in a prayer position.
“A few years later, I get a phone call from Amiee Vaughan - Delta’s cousin. She’s in a panic. Amiee expletively tells me that Delta needs help. I didn’t understand what was happening - why such a strong, independant woman like Delta needed help. That was until I saw her. She was a shell of her former self. The vibrant smile she once had was a distant memory - it was replaced with discolouration.”
“Stunray, what did you do to her? What did you did you do to my friend?” Daniel pleaded as he tried to shake the memory of Delta’s well-being from all those years ago.
“I did the only thing I could do and help Delta make the right choice. That’s all I did. Despite the victim complex Stunray wants to paint himself, I only did the humane thing.”
Daniel leaned off his thighs and sat upright in the chair.
“Stunray, after all these years you made a return to wrestling. Part of me did hope you had changed and saw the error in your ways. But it did just seem too close for comfort. Despite my wife getting involved in the affair, she was right in all accounts. You were just masking your true intentions. You seriously believed getting close to me would allow you to get close to her again.”
“Do you really think I’m THAT naive?” Daniel stressed.
“I’m not the one stopping the woman of your dreams from seeing you. I’m no gatekeeper. If you didn’t know, I haven’t been in contact with Delta within the past year. She’s been living away from America to get away from the craziness of this world in seclusion. But I really can’t speak for her. She has a mind of her own and it’s pretty clear she wants nothing to do with you.”
“But this is now far beyond, Delta. You took things to another level when you brutally threw the mother of my children through glass, you sick son of a bitch.”
Daniel paused for a moment to gather his rage inducing thoughts. Daniel’s wife Amiee was lucky not to be gravely injured. But it still angered Daniel of Stunray’s cruel intentions.
“I’m married to a very resilient woman who is getting better day by day. She only escaped with a few cuts and minor fractures, I’m grateful for that.”
Daniel took a deep inhale to calm himself as he continued his interview.
“But you know what Stunray? On the other side of the spectrum, I am glad you showed your true colours. It gives me less of a reason of having a guilty conscious of what I’m going to do to you at All-Star Showdown. Come that night, you will realise what a grave mistake you had made. This whole thing you’re fighting will be only for your own demise.”
“You have less than two weeks, Stunray. This is where it all culminates. A decade in the making. No going back now.”
Daniel ended with a fair warning towards his nemesis as he stared into the camera as it switches off.
