MAIN EVENT
Heroes Never Die vs. Johnny Karma and ?
There was silence; the lights began to fade away slowly. A soft instrumental echoes out across the audience. It starts slowly, a beautiful sound that contrasts the heaviness of the world. Like feathers, it glides among the waiting audience. The lighting fixtures produce a gentle spotlight upon the stage, offset by the occasional flash here and there. As the song continues, a woman’s words begin to come through. Her voice is tender, not raising upon a whisper.
Deceived by my eyes and all I was told I should see
Opinions not mine, the person they taught me to be
One night in the dark, a vision of someone I knew
And in the darkness I saw, a voice say, I'm you.
On the stage, a feminine figure appears. Her head lowered to everything. People cannot make out who it is. As she stands there, the flashes briefly illuminate her figure. It only gives small clues on who stands at the gate. She stands in the spotlight, her shadow cast large and proudly among the stage.
Inside me a light was turned on…
The instrumental picks up again. An electric guitar now joins the progressively exciting instrumentals of before. The singer’s voice suddenly intensifies.
Then I was alive!
In the light, it is revealed that it was Savannah Taylor. She stands at the gate, a robe of obsidian and ivory hues. The hood of it shadows her eyes, but the intensity of the final EXODUS World Champion remains clear as day. She starts off down the ramp, with a serious aura radiating from her body.
Melanie Sierra: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall and it is your main event of the evening! Introducing first, from Las Vegas, Nevada! She is the #1 Contender for the FGA Pride Championship, SAAAAAVANNAAAHHHH TAAAAAYYYYLOOORRRRR!!!
If you close your eyes your life,
A naked truth revealed
Dreams you never lived,
And scars never healed
Savannah makes her way up the ring steps. She looks out towards the audience for a moment before entering the ring. From there, she heads for a turnbuckle. She stands there, taking in everything. She then lifts her up on top of it. She peers out in nothing, then takes off the hood with a flashy flourish. Her blonde locks fly up in the air. They descend, shaping her face as they famously do.
In the darkness, light will take you to the other side
You'll find me waiting there you'll see, if you just close your eyes
While she stands in her corner, she closes her eyes and takes a heavy breath. When her bright eyes open, Taylor is completely composed. There is nothing more than the heat of battle awaiting her. She takes off her robe, giving it to a stagehand. She stretches her wrists before devoting her mind to the war upon the horizon.
Geoff Penzer: Savannah Taylor had drawn the ire of many people here in FGA as of late. She got into a very heated spat with Chris Madison via satellite earlier tonight. Of course, there’s no love lost between her and Johnny Karma after she cost karma his match against Izzy Anders back at Grapple Kingdom. Then of course, there’s the injury that was dealt to Cordy Stevenson at her hands, which has knocked the former Undisputed Champion out of action indefinitely. This crowd is really showing their disapproval for the Las vegas Siren and I can’t exactly say that I blame them.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
Drum beat.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
Drum beat.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
A final drum beat.
"THE CHAMP IS HERE!"
The intro of Jadakiss's "The Champ is Here" plays as a precursor to Izzy Anders' arrival. The crowd already starts their intense jeers before the arena falls into darkness. Soft taps of piano keys echoes among the arena, with the occasional cry of a pained soul. The arena is baptized in a faded pink color, cycling through that and a deep blue color. The camera shows many fans displaying their hatred with middle fingers and glares.
You can depend on Cud Life to kill it
Having guillotine dreams with my enemies, oh
See 'em in the ditch, see 'em out, hit the exit
Can't stand to hear a bitch nigga mouth
Showing the back of her coat and then swinging around to the championship glistening on her waist. When the camera pans upward, the arrogant gaze of Izzy Anders and all of her features are shown in full. She strokes her chin, grinning vehemently as she does. The champion enjoys the hatred she is facing. Unhooking the championship around her waist, Izzy proudly represents her status as both champion and antagonist by raising the championship and her middle finger. She begins to walk down the ramp, lowering her head to purposely block her gaze from the very fans she believes turned on her.
Melanie Sierra: And her partner, fighting out of Holland, Michigan by way of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada! She is the reigning FGA Undisputed Champion! “The Mindkiller” IZZYYYYYYY AAAAAANDEEERRRRRSSSSS!!!
Uh, doing music, TV and movies, sitting on the floors we ain't heard of
And the media wanna act like I ain't out here (I'm out here)
Running laps around these hoes (for years)
Running the game with no cheat codes
Once the call came out, Izzy stops on the end of the ramp, lowering her finger and her championship. She dips downward and hurls the championship high up into the air into the ring. While it flies sky high, Izzy runs and slides under the bottom rope. She heads over to the nearest turnbuckle, taking her sweet time to remove her infamous eyepatch. The championship clatters against the mat, landing roughly. Izzy steps off the ropes and heads for the center of the ring. She takes off her coat and flings it off with her usual elegance brandish. Once it's out of the way, Izzy takes a seat in her usual off-center spot. She drags her championship close to her, draping across her lap. The Mindkiller narrows her belligerent focus onto the upcoming battle.
Geoff Penzer: Izzy Anders has benefitted from this associate with Savannah Taylor as the Las Vegas Siren has not only helped her defeat Karma several months ago at Grapple Kingdom, but she also helped Anders screw Stevenson out of the FGA Undisputed Championship. It was looking like Anders was about to find herself between a rock and a hard place with a rumored Triple Threat Title Match consisting of her, Stevenson and Karma. But now with Stevenson out of the way, it’s now one on one. But when it comes to Anders and one on one PPV matches as of late, that usually means her and Taylor screwing over the opposition.
The arena lights flash in a myriad of different colours in time with John Bonham's quite remarkably epic drum intro that is filling the arena, and just as it reaches a crescendo Cherry Baum emerges at the top of the ramp, standing to one side to introduce the man they call Johnny Karma, to the Frontier
Wrestling Arts fanbase - at which point he walks out onto the ramp before coming to a halt and uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the fans, pausing to hold his arm in the air for a couple of seconds to signal his arrival
As he and Cherry begin to walk down the ramp, Karma unfastens the cuffs of his ring jacket while also talking some last minute preparation with Cherry as they get ever closer to the ring
As the pair reach ringside, Cherry quickly climbs onto the ring apron and sits on the middle rope to hold it open, as Karma climbs the ring steps and walks along the apron, turning to face His audience and slowly raising an arm before raising his index finger to let everyone know that He is #1, before he steps through the ropes into His ring.
Once inside His ring, Karma unzips his ring jacket before he climbs onto the nearest turnbuckle and holds his arms out wide to tell the crowd he's set foot in His ring once again
Melanie Sierra: And their opponents! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Cherry Baum! From Queens, New York! Weighing in at 233 pounds! He is the 2017 Gold Rush Rumble winner… JOOOOOOHNNYYYYYY KAAAAARRRRMAAAAAA!!!
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break
When The Levee Breaks I'll have no place to stay
Once he climbs down from the turnbuckles, Karma crosses the ring and climbs onto the opposite turnbuckle to salute His followers
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan
It's got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home
Oh well, oh well, oh well
Climbing down once again, Karma saunters towards the centre of the ring once again uses a couple of fingers to blow a kiss to the crowd before raising his arm high above his head with those two fingers still extended
Geoff Penzer: Johnny Karma has been on one heck of a run lately. He achieved his career highlight thus far with a Gold Rush Rumble win a little over a month ago. But Karma wants to do one better and that’s finally claim the Undisputed Championship. But after falling victim to several two on one battles last year, Karma could once again find himself falling victim to The Damn Numbers Game!
Geoff Penzer: Alright, who is it going to be?
Various names are shouting out from various sections of the crown. Suddenly, a FU0JI-KO chant gains steea, which draws the ire of the Undisputed Champion. She narrows her eyes as the chants get louder and louder. Suddenly, the crowd gasps, then explodes with cheers when the opening chords to “War Machine” blast over the PA.
Geoff Penzer: Now way! It can’t be it! It can’t be!
The video screen lights up with visual static noise. Suddenly in the center of the screen a black handprint begins pulsating to the beat of the drum that has began to play. A spotlight shines on the entrance ramp and we see Chris Madison standing with his head bowed under a black towel, wearing an official FGA licensed t-shirt that says, "Always Ready For War," across the chest.
Geoff Penzer: It CAN be! It’s Chris Madison! Chris Madison is here!
He nods his head to the music and as the chorus breaks he rips the towel from his head and tosses it into the live audience, starting his way down the ramp toward, the ring.
Better watch out 'cause I'm a war machine
Better watch out 'cause I'm a war machine
Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by his agent, Frankie Morrison! From Long Island, New York! Weighing in at 220 pounds! He is the reigning FGA Pride Champion! CHRIS “MAYHEM” MAAAAADIISSSSSOOOONNNN!!!
Madison makes it to the base of the steps and places one foot down before scoping out the fans directly behind him by peering over his shoulder. He smirks as the live audience sings along to the entrance music and then marches up the steps and climbs through the ropes. He immediately leaps up onto the middle rope and faces out towards the crowd. He brings his fists up to his face and punches his jaw with each hand before shooting his arms out horizontally with his hands wide open, welcoming whatever challenge is coming his way. Madison hops backwards, bouncing off of his feet and turns towards the center of the ring, snarling and ready to go…
Geoff Penzer: We all thought he was live via satellite having just competed in Japan for NJFC! But the interview via satellite was all a ploy on the part of the Pride Champion! I don’t know how he made it in time. But I’m sure that Karma is damn glad that he did!
The bell sounds as Anders and Karma circle the ring to an explosion of cheers from the crowd.
Geoff Penzer: This crowd is electric! These fans her in Kingston, Rhode Island, as well as fans from all over, have been waiting for Johnny Karma to get his han-
The cheers turns to boos when Anders stops and tags in Savannah Taylor.
Geoff Penzer: You’ve got to be kidding me! Unbelievable!
The boos continue as Anders steps out onto the apron and continues arguing back and forth with Karma. She then motions for him to turn his attention to Karma. Once Karma turns his attention to the Las Vegas Siren, he and Taylor begin to circle the ring. They then stop and size each other up. Before Karma can head over for a lock up, the crowd boos when Anders comes up from behind and kicks him in the back of the leg.
Geoff Penzer: What the heck was that for?
Furious, Karma turns and goes after Anders. But he gets attacked from behind by Taylor. Once Anders steps back out onto the apron, the crowd boos while Karma gets nailed in the corner with clubbing shots from Heroes Never Die. Anders then holds Karma’s arms back while Taylor lights up his chest with knife edge chops. She then switches to shoot kicks to the midsection before choking Karma with her foot. The ref then gives her until a count of five to break the choke.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…FI-
Taylor reluctantly lets go. She then steps back and holds her arms up innocently while the ref admonishes her for not breaking the choke in a timely fashion. While this is going on, the crowd erupts with boos when Anders takes the tag ropes and chokes Karma with it.
Geoff Penzer: Izzy Anders is trying to choke the life out of Karma! She’s trying to make sure she has no opponents for All-Star Showdown!
After Anders lets go, Taylor charges into the corner and connects with a yakuza kick, sending Karma crumbling from out of the corner. She then drops down and makes the cover.

While Karma continues to gasp for air, Anders gets tagged in.
Geoff Penzer: Oh, NOW she wants to get in the ring.
The boos continue as Anders put the boots to Karma. She then drags him over towards the ropes before choking him her foot while pulling down on the top rope.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Anders breaks the hold. She then reaches down, picks up Karma and grabs him by the arm. After dragging Karma towards the center of the ring, Anders wrenches his arm before delivering a European Uppercut to it. Karma can be seen wincing in pain as Anders tries to yank the arm from out of its socket. She then wrenches the arm before tries to yank it from out of its socket again. The jolt of pain causes Karma to drop down to a knee. He tries to get back up to his feet. But Anders yanks the arm, dropping him back down to one knee. Anders adds insults to injury by slapping Karma upside the back of the head.
Geoff Penzer: Anders is taunting Karma now that she’s in control. But she wanted no parts of him at the start of this contest.
After Karma battles back to his feet, Anders wrenches the arm once more before transitioning into a hammerlock from behind. She then throws out the Black Song (hammerlock spun into a lariat). But Karma ducks. When Anders turns around, Karma rattles off three snapping jabs before socking her with a right hand, knocking her down.
Geoff Penzer: Sugar Ray Karma!
The cheers cheers as Anders gets up, only to get knocked back down by another right hand. Anders returns to the her. The crowd cheers when she gets decked with another right hand. Once the Undisputed Champion gets back to a vertical base, Karma doubles her over with a knee to the midsection. He then takes her by the back of the neck, runs, hops over the top rope and brings her down with Macho Karma. While Anders stumbles back, Karma climbs up onto the apron, scales to the top turnbuckle, leaps off and knocks her down with a diving double ax handle smash. The cheers continue as Karma mounts himself on top of Anders and hammers away with a flurry of right hands to the face.
Geoff Penzer: Look at Karma go! Look at Karma take it to Izzy Anders.
Karma continues his flurry of punches to the face until Taylor tackles him off of Anders. The boos continues when Taylor returns to her feet and puts the boots to Karma. But the boos turn right back to cheers when Chris Madison gets in, turns Taylor around and lights her up with a series of right hands. He then steps back before running forward and sending her over the top rope and to the floor with a clothesline.
Geoff Penzer: Down goes Taylor!
Back in the ring, Karma picks up Anders and whips her over towards Madison, who ducks and dumps her over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd explodes with cheers as Karma and Madison clean house.
Geoff Penzer: This crowd is at a fever pitch after Karma and Madison have dispelled Heroes Never Die from the ring.
While Heroes Never Die slowly pick themselves up on the outside, Karma and Madison turn to each other before running into the far ropes.
Geoff Penzer: What do these two have in mind here?
When they return, Karma knocks Anders down with This Is For The Front Row (baseball slide clothesline) while Madison flips over the top rope, knocking Taylor down with a high jump moonsault). The crowd explodes with cheers as Heroes Never Die have been taken out on the outside.
Geoff Penzer: Johnny Karma and Chris Madison have yanked back control of this match. Listen to this crowd.

Anders gets her shoulder up.
Karma picks up Anders, heads into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle. After turning Anders around, Karma unleashes a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. He then takes Anders and goes for an irish whip. But Anders reverses, sending Karma into the opposite corner. Anders then charges across the ring to attack. But Karma knocks her back with an NYC Uppercut. As Anders stumbles back towards the center of the ring, Karma runs from out of the corner for another NYC Uppercut. But Anders cuts him off with a European Uppercut of her own. After delivering another uppercut, Anders turns and runs into the ropes. When Anders returns, the crowd cheers when Karma knocks her down with a running high knee. He then bounces into the ropes. When Karma returns, he goes for a jumping knee drop. But Anders rolls out of the way. The crowd boos as Karma comes down knee-first on the canvas. Anders then quickly grabs Karma by the leg, drags him into the Heroes Never Die corner and tags Taylor back in.
The crowd boos when Taylor gets in, drags Karma back towards the center of the ring and kicks away at the leg. She then delivers an elbow drop to it. Taylor gets back up, lifts up Karma’s leg and delivers another elbow drop. Taylor returns to her feet, takes the leg and wraps Karma in a figure four leglock.
Geoff Penzer: Taylor’s got Karma trapped in the center of the ring.
The crowd boos while Taylor can be seen taunting Karma. Anders then sticks her head through the ropes and does the same. The boos continue when Taylor reaches over and slaps Karma across the face. Karma tries to get her back, but Taylor leans out of the way. She then lunges forward and slaps Karma across the face again. When Karma takes a swing at her, Taylor leans back and taunts Karma.
Geoff Penzer: Karma has to be boiling with anger. It’s bad enough he’s got with a submission in the center of the ring. Now he had to deal with this taunting from the likes of Taylor and Anders.
Taylor continues to taunt Karma. But the boos turn to cheers when Karma catches her with a quick jab. He then nails her with two more jabs before knocking her back with a right hand to the face. Karma then swings his body to his left, turns over and reverses the pressure of the figure four. The crowd cheers while Taylor howls in pain.
Geoff Penzer: He’s reversed it! Karma’s reversed the hold!
Taylor quickly releases the hold. While she tries to get back to a vertical base, Karma beats her to the punch, marches into the corner and slams her face-first into the top turnbuckle before tagging Madison in. The crowd cheers as Madison gets in, takes his number one contender from out of the corner and shoots her into the ropes. When Taylor returns, Madison tackles her down with a Lou Thesz Press. He goes to follow up with 12-to-6 elbows to the face, but Taylor covers up. But that doesn’t stop Madison from continuing to swing his elbow down with force. Suddenly, some of the blows begin to get through Taylor’s defense. Madison then shifts over into a lateral press.

Having seen enough, Anders steps in and marches over to attack. But Madison releases the hold, returns to his feet and greets Anders with a series of elbow smashes to the face. He then steps back, runs and connects with a running yakuza kick, knocking Anders through the ropes and to the floor.
Geoff Penzer: Anders might have failed to attack Madison. But she succeeded in getting Madison to release the submission of Taylor.
As soon as Madison turns around, the crowd boos when Taylor clobbers him with a roundhouse kick. She drops down and makes the cover.

The ref then gives Taylor until a count of five to break the choke.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Taylor breaks the hold. She then takes Madison and whips him into the opposite corner. After lining him up, Taylor charges across the ring to attack. But Madison ducks and dumps her over the top rope. Unbeknownst to Madison, Taylor landed safely on the apron. When Madison turns around, she doubles him over with a shoulder thrust through the ropes. After bringing Madison through the ropes and onto the apron, the crowd boos when Taylor plants him with a DDT.
Geoff Penzer: Taylor just DDT’d Madison right on the hardest part of the ring! That could have knocked him out cold!
Madison bounces off the apron before falling to the outside. Morrison motions to go over and tend to Madison. But Taylor cuts him off. After wagging her finger at Morrison, Taylor turns around, picks up Madison and rolls him back inside. After dragging Madison’s upper body out across the apron, Taylor takes several steps back before running forward and delivering a running yakuza kick to the side of the head. The crowd boos as Madison rolls back inside and clutches his head.
Geoff Penzer: Taylor nearly kicked Madison’s head clean off his neck with that running boot.

While Madison tries to shake out the cobwebs, Anders walks over, grabs him and goes for an irish whip. But Madison reverses, sending Anders into the ropes. Geoff Penzer: The crowd goes wild after Masters throws down Anders with authority using that spinebuster! But can he make the tag?
Morrison and Baum can be seen slapping the canvas while Karma stretches his arm out for the tag. Madison slowly turns over and begins crawling towards his corner. The capacity crowd is solidly behind the Pride Champion as he tries to pull himself over and make the tag. Once he returns to his feet, he begins to stagger over towards the corner. He then applies a standard guillotine choke before beginning to spin around.
Geoff Penzer: Here comes the Helicopter Guillotine.

After ten rotations, Madison lets go, sending the Undisputed Champion flying to the side. Once Anders gets back to her feet and turns around, Madison runs over and cracks her across the jaw with a bicycle knee strike.
