Familiar Voice: Buenos Dias, Kingston!
The crowd pops for this because...well, of course they do. This is a wrestling show and this is a wrestling crowd. They’re going to go bananas for the cheap pop.
Familiar Voice: Please allow me to introduce myself. I’m a man of wealth and taste. I snack on danger, dine on death, and daaaaance with the devil! I am the standard bearer south of the border, a champion among champions, and a prince among fools! But most importantly…
A body comes bounding out of the entrance way and throws his hood back, holding a microphone.
Pedro Gonzales: I am the Favorite Son of Mexico City! PEDROOOOOOOO GONZALES!
Maritza Diaz steps out of the entranceway, confused and wondering exactly what the hell her man’s doing now. Pedro doesn’t miss a beat.
Pedro Gonzales: Aaaaaaand this woman right here need no introduction. But I’m going to give her one anyway. She’s the pillar of pride, the tower of power, too sweet to be sour! And trust me, amigos, you do not want to get her angry. She is the People’s Princess! MARITZAAAAAAAA DIAZ!
The confusion doesn’t dissipate from her face as she walks to the ring with the Favorite Son bounding ahead of her.
Pedro Gonzales: We thirst for your blood! We hunger for your gold! We have a labido for the lucha! Yet you may ask yourselves…"who are you guys?" And we shall answer in kind.
Like a cat, he glides into the ring almost effortlessly.
Pedro Gonzales: We are the second coming! Bueno Club Último! POR-R-R-R-R VIDA!
Although the fans knows that most of what Pedro’s saying is utter bullshit, the enthusiasm and outright gusto in his delivery is appreciated by some. Diaz, however, has her own questions.
Maritza Diaz: (leaning in trying not to be heard by the entire arena.) Papi? What’s with all the theatrics? You feeling ok?
She semi-succeeds in her mission to not be heard. Though if the mic didn’t pick up her word, the cameramen that are already in and around the ring certainly did. Pedro shrugs.
Pedro Gonzales: I’m experimenting. I had to try it at least once. Anyway! Since we’re here, many of you can safely assume that it’s almost time for our match to start and you would be correct. But I wouldn’t be the bueno man I am without welcoming Avaset and Eloria to Frontier Grappling Arts with open arms and…
He flings off his cape completely and magically reveals--
Pedro Gonzales: GIFT BASKETS! Now granted, it was pretty hard to figure out exactly what to get the lady albino friend...so I just gave her a normal basket. But I think I’ve more than made up for it with our world class Diamond Package just for the Crown Jewel herself.
Pedro sets them down on the canvas. Maritza’s eyes are immediately drawn to Ava’s basket as she picks it up. Examining the contents, all the color drains out of her face.
Maritza Diaz: Papi, you really shouldn’t be giving this to any woman.
Mexico City’s Favorite Son plays innocent.
Pedro Gonzales: Oh? Why’s that?
Maritza Diaz: Because it’s insulting! I mean… (she picks up a can) spray tan?
Pedro Gonzales: Well, I doubt that her tan is all that natural. Besides can you imagine how hard it is to find tanner that doesn’t make you look like an oompa loompa?
She picks up a box.
Maritza Diaz: Hair dye?
Pedro Gonzales: Her roots are showing. I’m being respectful towards her facade of being a blonde badass.
Then she picks up the bigger box. Her eyes go wide with shock.
Maritza Diaz: T-TAMPONS?!
Pedro Gonzales: Last I checked, a man buying a woman tampons isn’t the end of the world. She may need them.
Maritza Diaz: But 96 of them!
Pedro smirks.
Pedro Gonzales: I never said she was going to use them all at once.
“Kill V. Maim” by Grimes strikes up across the arena as the fans begin booing. Avaset Kaiser leads her partner to the ring. She already looks a bit perturbed, perhaps she was watching backstage and heard the whole conversation. Eloria, on the other hand, has a rather amused smirk on her face as Ava takes the ring stairs and Eloria just slides directly through the bottom rope. Prior to entering the ring, The Crown Jewel glares at Pedro and shakes her head. She then steps through the ropes, and doesn’t even bother to say anything to either of her opponents as she walks past them. As she does, Ava whips her hair out of her face in their direction before approaching the ropes and receiving a microphone. She eyes the gift basket that Pedro offers her with a smile. Kaiser’s blue eyes look at the gift basket, Pedro, Maritza, then back to Pedro again. She doesn’t seem too pleased, but Eloria is practically laughing under her breath.
Avaset Kaiser: Is this your idea of some sort of joke? If so, it is not the least bit funny. To be perfectly honest, I kind of feel bad for dearest Maritza if...
Once again, Pedro pushes the Diamond Package gift basket toward Avaset, but she responds in what we might view as a complete overreaction to Pedro’s gesture whether it was sincere or not. When it seems as though The Crown Jewel is going to say something more, she clocks Pedro over the head with the microphone causing a huge thud over the sound system. Pedro goes stumbling back against the ropes where Maritza checks on him complete with glares back in Avaset’s direction as Eloria drags her kicking and screaming away from the center of the ring.
Pedro Gonzales & Maritza Diaz vs. Through Diamond Eyes
Geoff Penzer: This one has gotten heated already before the opening bell! Both of these teams are jockeying for position in the burgeoning tag team division. Both of these teams know that a win will get them one step closer towards a coveted championship match. But things between both sides have been taken up a notch after what we’ve just seen here tonight.
After Master gets Kaiser to calm down, The Crown Jewel heads out onto the apron. In the opposite corner, Diaz wants to start things off for her side. But Gonzales reassures her that he’s okay and that he’s fine with starting things off for his side.
Once Diaz heads out onto the apron, Gonzales motions over towards Master and goes to initiate a lock up. But Master throws out a low kick, forcing Gonzales to step back. Gonzales then circles the ring while he keeps his eyes locked on Master. After sizing her up, he heads over towards her and motions for a lock up. But Master throws out a savate kick feint, which forces Mexico City’s Favorite Son back.
Geoff Penzer: Gonzales is trying to watch out for the educated feet on Master.
Gonzales continues to circling the ring. After Gonzales motions for a collar & elbow tie up, Master throws out another kick. But this time, Gonzales is able to catch it. The crowd cheers while Gonzales shakes his head at Master. But the cheers turn to boos when master sends Gonzales flipping down to the canvas with an enzuigiri.
Geoff Penzer: Gonzales’ cheekiness may have gotten the better of him there.
Master picks up Gonzales and whips him into the ropes. When Gonzales returns, Master knocks him down with a spinning heel kick. She makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Gonzales got caught flush across the jaw with that high speed spinning heel kick. But it only gets two.
Master picks up Gonzales and whips him into the ropes. She throws out a front dropkick. But she does so too early, which allows Gonzales to hang on the ropes. After Master whiffs and crashes down on the canvas, Gonzales rolls over and flips into a jackknife pin.

Gonzales slips out.
After both grapplers get up, Master takes Gonzales and goes for an irish whip. But Gonzales reverses, sending her into the ropes. When Master returns, Gonzales throws her down with a hip toss. Master returns to her feet. But she quickly gets returned to the mat with an arm drag. Master gets back up, only to get sent back down by another arm drag. Gonzales then transitions into an armbar while the crowd cheers.
The ref gets down and asks Master if she wants to give up. But she refuses. After returning to her feet, she uses her free arm to move Gonzales into the corner, allowing Avaset Kaiser to tag herself in. As soon as The Crown Jewel gets in, Gonzales quickly lets go of Master and makes his way out towards the center of the ring. The two former 3GW alum size each other up before marching towards the center of the ring and locking up. After jockeying for position, Kaiser breaks up the struggle with a knee to the midsection. The crowd boos as she thrusts her knee into Gonzales’ ribs one more before latching onto his arm. After being given an arm wrench, Gonzales rolls forward and leans back. As soon as he kips up, Kaiser grabs him by the hair with her free hand and throws him back down to the canvas with a mat slam. Gonzales kips back up, only to be thrown back down by another mat slam. After bridging back, Gonzales spins over onto his knees, flips over his a headstand and reverses into an arm wrench of his own. But the cheers turn to boos when Kaiser quickly reverses into an arm wringer, sending Gonzales down to the mat.
Geoff Penzer: Gonzales just got send crashing down to the canvas shoulder-first after that hard arm wringer from The Crown Jewel. We all know how dangerous Izzy Anders is when she goes out of her way to attack an opponent’s arm. But The Crown Jewel is arguably just as lethal. Fan favorite Jenny Knite is STILL on the shelf thanks to Kaiser.
The boos continues as Kaiser quickly drops down into a Fujiwara Armbar. The ref then gets kneels down and asks Gonzales if he wants to give up. When Gonzales refuses, Kaiser pulls back on the arm.
Geoff Penzer: Kaiser took advantage of Gonzales’ positioning and quickly locked in a Fujiwara Armbar. To his credit, Pedro Gonzales isn’t giving him. He’s trying to fight through it. But Kaiser has no qualms about snapping that arm in two if need be.
The ref continues to check in with Gonzales and asks him if he wants to give up. When Gonzales refuses, Kaiser repeatedly pulls back on the arm.
Geoff Penzer: Kaiser’s really cranking away on that arm now while he hear the labored groans of Mexico City’s Favorite Son. Maritza Diaz is calling for the tag. But Gonzales is a long ways away...
Gonzales tries his best to fight through the pain and pull himself towards the ropes. He reaches out, but he’s not quite there. While Gonzales writhes in pain, Kaiser continues to fight for the submission.
Geoff Penzer: Kaiser’s fighting with everything she’s got to get the submission. But Gonzales continues to resist. How tough is he?
Maritza Diaz can be seen on the apron supporting her man by applauding him. The crowd quickly take their cue from Diaz and join in with the clapping. With the crowd behind him, Gonzales begins to pull himself closer and closer towards the side of the ring. He then reaches out… and grabs the bottom rope. The crowd rejoices! But the cheers quickly turn to boos when Kaiser refuses to break the hold. So the ref gives her until a count of five to release the submission.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Kaiser breaks the hold. She then picks up Gonzales and whips him into the far ropes. When Gonzales returns, Kaiser sets up for a back body drop. But Gonzales sees it, so he goes to counter with a sunset flip. The crowd cheers as Kaiser swings her arms wildly. Once she regains her balance, she reaches down, grabs onto Gonzales’ wrist, spins around and drops down into a cross armbar.
Geoff Penzer: Great counter there by Avaset Kaiser! Gonzales’ arm had already been worked over extensively by that Fujiwara Armbar. How much more damage can that arm take?
Before Kaiser can lean back and attempt to hyperextend Gonzales’ arm, Gonzales locks his hands together. He then rolls over, pinning Kaiser’s shoulders to the canvas.

After both grapplers return to their feet, Gonzales throws out a kick to the midsection. After Kaiser catches his foot, the crowd boos when she wags her finger at him. After swinging Gonzales’ leg away from her, she throws out a clothesline when he turns around. But Gonzales ducks the clothesline and rolls forward. When Kaiser turns around, Gonzales rolls back, lifts his legs up, wraps them around Kaiser’s neck and executes a headstand headscissors takedown. After Kaiser returns to her feet, Gonzales gives her an arm wrench before tagging in Diaz.
Geoff Penzer: Maritza Diaz is in! Listen to this crowd!
The crowd cheers as The Power Princess gets in the ring and doubles Kaiser over with a fist to the midsection. After a European Uppercut knocks Kaiser backwards into the ropes, Diaz goes over and lights up her chest with knife edge chops. She then grabs Kaiser by the wrist and leads her away from the ropes… only to knock her down with a short-arm clothesline. She makes the cover.

Diaz picks up Kaiser and goes for an irish whip. But Kaiser reverses, sending Diaz into the ropes. When Diaz returns, she knocks Kaiser down with a running shoulder block. Kaiser returns to her feet, only to get returned to the mat by another running shoulder block. The crowd cheers while Diaz runs into one set of ropes, then the other. When she returns, though, Kaiser brings her down with a drop toe hold. Master then gets into the ring and runs into the ropes. When she returns, she delivers a leg drop across the back of Diaz’s neck before Kaiser arches back and applies the Jewel Lock Box (Muta Lock).
Geoff Penzer: Kaiser’s got the opposition trapped in yet another submission!
The ref gets down and asks Diaz if she wants to give up. When she refuses, the crowd cheers when Kaiser begins tugging away at her neck.
Geoff Penzer: Kaiser’s just yanking away on that neck! That can’t be good!
Kaiser continues to fight for the submission while Diaz tries to fight through the pain. The submission maneuver stays applied until Gonzales gets in and delivers a stomp to the midsection, breaking the hold.
While Gonzales leaves the ring in a huff, Kaiser picks up Diaz and whips her into the Diamond Eyes corner. Kaiser charges into the corner. But she ends up eating a back elbow to the face. While Kaiser stumbles back, Diaz turns and nails Master with a back elbow to the face as well. When Diaz turns back to Kaiser, The Crown Jewel is seen charging back into the corner. But Kaiser knocks her back again with a boot to the face. While Kaiser stumbles back, Diaz hoists herself up onto the middle ropes off and knocks her down with a diving knee to the face. The cheers continue as she makes the cover.

Diaz picks up Kaiser and whips her into the ropes. When Kaiser returns, Diaz sets up for a back body drop. So Kaiser goes to counter with a sunset flip of her own. Kaiser can be seen trying to pull Diaz down. Meanwhile, Diaz can be seen swinging her arms wildly to regain her balance. Once she does, she reaches down, grabs Kaiser by the neck with both hands, yanks her back up to her feet and then throws her across the ring with an overhead choke suplex.
Geoff Penzer: Raw power on display there from The Power Princess!
Once Kaiser gets to her feet and turns around, Diaz runs over and sends her over the top rope and to the floor with a running clothesline.
Geoff Penzer: The running clothesline sends The Crown Jewel to the outside!
While Master attends to Kaiser on the outside, Diaz marches back across the ring and tags Gonzales back in. After Gonzales gets back in, he bounces against the ropes before running across the ring and delivering a cartwheel plancha. As Gonzales flips over the top rope, Master shoves Kaiser out of the way.
Geoff Penzer: Gonzales wipes out Master with the cartwheel plancha!
After Gonzales returns to his feet, Kaiser hammerlocks him from behind before tossing him against the side of the ring. The boos continue as Gonzales immediately goes down clutching his left arm.
Geoff Penzer: Gonzales looks to be hurt here...
The boos continues as Kaiser stomps away on Gonzales. She then reaches down, picks up Gonzales, slams him face-first onto the apron and shoves him back inside. Once she slides back in, she grabs Gonzales, places him in a cravate and brings him back to his feet. From there, she delivers several quick knee lifts to the face. The last of which leave Gonzales dazed. Kaiser then turns and runs into the ropes. When she returns, Gonzales throws out a running high knee. But Kaiser catches his knee. After swinging Gonzales’ leg away from her, she grabs him from behind, delivers a backwards roll and then goes to follow up with a bridging German Suplex. But as soon as she lifts Gonzales up, he reverses into a wheelbarrow victory roll.

Master heads back into the corner and tags in Kaiser. Once Kaiser gets back in, Through Diamond Eyes take Gonzales and whip him into the ropes. When he returns, they set up for a double back body drop. But Gonzales stops and kicks Master in the face. When Kaiser stands up, Gonzales throws out a punch. But Kaiser ducks, grabs him from behind and lifts him up for a belly to back suplex. But Gonzales rolls over her shoulder, wraps his legs around Master’s neck in mid air and brings her down with a headscissors takedown. Once Gonzales gets back to his feet, Kaiser runs over and throws out a clothesline. But Gonzales ducks. When Kaiser turns around, she gets caught with an uppercut to the jaw, then an elbow to the face, then a roundhouse kick to the arm, followed by a leg sweep.
Geoff Penzer: Sadistic Combo!
After running into the ropes, the crowd cheers as Gonzales comes back and delivers a running Shooting Star Press on Kaiser. But as soon as he gets up, he gets brought down by a slingblade from Master.
Crowd: Boooo!
Master heads into the corner and sets up for a Shining Wizard. Once Gonzales turns over and gets up on one knee, she runs from out of the corner to throw out to attack. But she gets blindsided at the last second by the Miami Express (Bicycle Knee Strike).
Crowd: Yeeeaaah!
While Diaz is back on her feet, Kaiser comes up from behind and spikes her with the Saxon Sapphire (Reverse Frankensteiner).
Crowd: Boooo!
When Kaiser gets back to her feet, Gonzales comes up from behind and tries to deliver a German Suplex. But Kaiser counters with three elbows to the face. After performing a standing switch, Through Diamond Eyes deliver a superkick/German Suplex combination. The boos continue as Avaset sets Gonzales up in a arm-wrenched wristlock as Eloria charges in and hits White Death (Running Shotgun Kick) as Ava utilizes a reverse arm-wringer ensure they flip over onto their stomach while keeping wrist-control. As soon as the victim hits the mat, Avaset locks in the Bridge. The ref checks in with Gonzales and asks if he wants to give up. Seeing that Gonzales is out cold, he calls for the bell.
The crowd boos when “Kill V. Maim” hits the speakers.
Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners, THROUGH DIAMOND EYES!
The boos continue as Kaiser and Master get their arms raised in victory.
Geoff Penzer: Through Diamond Eye’s pick up the win in their FGA debut, defeating Pedro Gonzales and Maritza Diaz! What’s next for this duo? Stay tuned!
