CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Scarlett Johansson
Gimmick:
Heather is usually an easy-going, nice girl; however, she is currently having a bit of an attitude problem. Actually, she’s possessed by a powerful demon, but of course, people aren’t going to realize that. The big tip off will be the difference in her eyes. When she’s herself, they will be her natural blue-green color. When the demon has control (which can happen at any point, especially during matches when the aggression levels are at their highest peak), they will turn a bright, vivid violet. For the sake of suspended belief, those who don't know about other current struggles can pass it off on color-changing contacts. During promos, she could start off as her usual sweet, country girl self; then go batshit, Deadpool crazy at the drop of a hat. Keeping up with her is going to be like trying to stay in/on a roller coaster that’s gone off the rails.
Strengths:
1. Her Dancing – A lifelong, world class dancing past has given her a unique fighting style. She’s taken everything she learned on the dance floor and found a way to apply it to her move-set, making her next moves unpredictable.
2. Charm – Like her or not, Heather has charm in spades. She has a rare ability to make the most unlikely friends and acquaintances, which in turn, helps her build alliances.
3. Those Closest to Her – Heather considers her loved ones and friends to be her greatest source of strength and learning. Her husband alone is her best teacher and training partner (not to mention support system). The friends she made through him and through her years in the business have all taught her valuable lessons in and out of the ring that’s she’s carried with her from fed to fed.
Weaknesses:
1. Her Empathy – Heather feels very strongly the emotions of those around her. This can be very detrimental, especially during matches. Especially if she feels the vibes coming from her husband or any of her friends.
2. Her size – Heather is quite petite and if she gets caught by a larger, stronger opponent, this can put her in serious jeopardy during a match.
3. Vulnerability – Heather tends to let her guard down often, as a side effect of her being so empathetic. Because of her friendliness and charm, she tends to lend an ear and a shoulder to cry on to anyone she sees needs it… This is a trait that has often times bit her in the ass.
Bio:
As a young girl growing up in Texas, Heather never imagined wrestling would ever become her future. Born to dance, she spent her entire life training as a ballroom professional. She’s traveled the world in dance competitions, her talent earning her award after award and worldwide recognition in the dance community. But tragedy struck when she was in her late teens after she sustained an injury that would make it impossible for her to dance professionally ever again.
Depression hit her deeply and it was at this point that she started watching wrestling. She was quickly enraptured by the artistry of building a match and the dramatics that went with it. She started looking around locally and found out a former, no-name indie worker was training out of his farm. Heather signed up and began training as soon as she was cleared to do so. She adapted to life in the ring quickly, much to the surprise and delight to her trainer, who thought she was no more than a prissy little dancing princess.
Within her first six months of training, her trainer contacted a friend who owned a small time promotion in her hometown of Austin, Texas. They booked her for a curtain jerker and were so impressed, they were quick to book her again. This is where Heather got her feet wet and would remain loyally for a year.
As chance would have it, a talent scout (who was a friend of the owner) from the Xtreme Wrestling Federation showed up at one of her shows. He quickly spotted the raw talent in Heather and was quick to approach her about signing with the XWF. Heather was unsure at first, but when the owner of her current fed gave his blessing, she signed the contract with confidence.
Heather made her debut in XWF in the following month (2002) and defeated a multiple time Women’s Champion in her first match. This got her spotted by then Undisputed Champion, Steve Jason, who took her under his wing… and, eventually, into his arms. The two developed a fast romance, which was quickly put on hold when tragedy struck and Heather’s parents were killed by a drunk driver hitting them head-on, on their way home one night. Devastated, Heather sunk back into her depression… Until former XWF wrestler, Sean Graves, reached out to her. Though his intentions were less than pure, she found comfort in him and the two became an item.
Heather returned to XWF soon after that, on the arm of Sean Graves. But it didn’t take long after attending a party hosted by Steve Jason for the relationship to crumble around the edges. Though Heather was with Sean, it was obvious that the fire was still lit between Heather and Steve. When Sean started sneaking around with fellow wrestler, Tyger Lilly, the couple broke up formally and Heather found herself back in Steve Jason’s arms. The two reunited happily, though outside forces were determined to tear them apart. Former Undisputed Champion, Kitten, carried a torch for Steve Jason that she refused to douse. This led to a series of backstage incidents that ultimately led to a grudge match between the two women that saw Heather as the victor.
Not long after this, Heather’s jealous older sister, Hallie, came into play. Sean Graves wasn’t through with Heather yet; so in an elaborate plan to break up the “Golden Couple” of XWF, Sean and Hallie hatched a devious plot. This included kidnapping Heather after a show one night and sending Hallie in her place. It worked, as the sisters had the same height, build and hair color; Hallie was careful never to let the camera catch her face. This went on for several months until Heather managed to break free. She tried to return to her Steve, but he had sought solace in the arms of another.
Heather floated around for a bit after that, wrestling briefly for SIN, before taking a 2-year break. In 2006, she made her way back to XWF. She was welcomed back with open arms by the fans. She quickly made her way back to her mid-card status, where she remained, despite her best efforts. It wasn’t long before she and Steve Jason reunited once again. It seemed as though the on-again, off again pair would finally stick it out… until tragedy struck once again for the Halliwell clan. Heather’s youngest sister, Holly, had committed suicide after her lover and the father of her child left her for her traitorous older sister, Hallie. She left behind Heather’s niece, Tegan, who was quickly taken by her devious aunt.
Once again struck by grief and depression, Heather left the ring once again. Soon after, she found out she was pregnant with Steve Jason’s child. When Hallie caught wind of this, she was determined to have her sister’s babies for herself. Heather went into hiding with the help of a friend, telling no one, not even Steve, where she was. She gave birth to her twins, Zachary and Zoe, and “died” in the process, as to throw off her sisters. Her babies were taken into hiding by her friend and when word got to Steve Jason that Heather was dead, he was determined to find his children.
The “friend” who was supposed to deliver the location of the twins and the news that Heather hadn’t really perished changed her mind, based on her own desires for Steve. She neglected to tell him any of this, determined to have him for herself. Eventually, Steve found out the truth, and this saw him and Heather united once more. This time around, they stayed together for several years, even finally getting engaged.
But as it will, the wrestling bug bit Heather again and she found her way to WGWF in 2008. It was here where her life would take its lowest pitfall yet, all at her own hand. Not long after joining, she joined a stable that was run by the federations owner. In a series of horrible decisions, Heather left her family for a life of parties, drugs, and promises of glory and a whirlwind romance with the company owner. But it didn’t take long for her to realize that these were empty promises. As her drug and alcohol problems got worse, the group split, as did she and the owner she had been dating at the time.
By then, she was heavy into drugs, and it was affecting everything from her wrestling to her personal life. She lost any custody over her children and Steve Jason wanted nothing to do with her. In the ring, she was less competent than ever, which led her to a nine-month losing streak. This also led to what was her most notable rivalry to date, against Star Deveraux. Even though Heather always managed to get into Star’s head, Star always managed to defeat her in the ring. Eventually, Heather fell back in with the purely evil Sean Graves who had also made his return to the ring. Not long after this romance was rekindled, did Heather realize how far low she’d gotten. She left wrestling once again and admitted herself into rehab.
She stayed away from wrestling for a long time… Until she heard that Star was going to reopen PDW. She went to Star herself and the two hashed out their issues (which, given some of the things Heather had done to Star and her family, was a miracle of itself) and Star agreed to give her a job on a probationary basis. Heather was pleased with this position for some time but soon fell back into her promiscuous ways. She started binging on men as a way to stay away from the drugs, trading one vice for another.
Just when it seemed as though she’d calmed down from this brief relapse, she was bitten by the wrestling bug again and asked Star if she could compete again, this time for PDW. Star agreed and Heather willingly wrestled low-key matches, sticking mostly to house shows at the time. This was enough to get her noticed by scouts from EXODUS, who were quick to contact her to compete in a tournament. With Star’s reluctant blessing, Heather inked a deal with EXODUS, which also led her into the arms of fellow tournament competitor, Dom Harter.
The relationship was doomed from the start, however, due to Harter’s secret passion for Riley Lynn. Unbeknownst to Heather, Dom had been secretly contacting Riley, expressing his passion for her. Riley revealed this to Heather in an attempt to take Dom for herself… Or so everyone thought. Riley and Heather had a heated rivalry, putting Dom in the middle. The night of their match, both women turned the tables on Harter (who was chosen to referee the bout) and left him high and dry.
Heather moved on with Zero McHannon, though that ended quickly. With dizzying speed, she found herself in the bed of Chris Strike. During the beginning stages, the relationship was shared with Lady Magdalena Lasiewicz. Eventually, Chris and Heather started to focus more on each other and the two shared a passionate romance that would last several months. But while Heather fell head over heels, Strike didn’t feel the same for her and the relationship.
Heather would spend the next few months in misery, reflecting on all her failed relationships and wondering where she was going wrong. She eventually retired from the ring to realize her dream of opening up a dance studio, though she never stopped watching wrestling and making appearances to cheer on her friends. This is how she would notice that Magdalena was acting obsessive around Strike. Heather felt herself getting uncontrollably jealous, so she started showing up at shows again. And that’s when destiny would intervene in her favor for seemingly the first time.
On her first night back, she was so engrossed with her mission of “protecting” Strike that she didn’t even notice the wheel-chair bound Andreas Lasiewicz; That is until she fell directly into his lap. The two had a flirtatious exchange that would leave Heather questioning the nature of her feelings for Strike. It didn’t take her long to become enamored with the mysterious “Silver Eagle” and she knew then that her feelings for Strike were finally platonic.
After finally getting the closure she sought from her ex, she had one more battle to face: Magdalena herself. The Lady had noticed Heather’s protective stance over Strike and had taken exception. When it was becoming obvious that Heather and Andreas were falling in love, Magdalena was incensed further. This led to a showdown in the parking lot during a show, where the two women finally beat the hell out of each other. The brawl was broken up when Andreas himself called in the white jackets and pulled Heather to safety before Magdalena could strike a blow that could have very easily crippled the Pretty Lil Texan.
Heather and Andreas were married less than a year later and have been living happily ever since. Heather continues to teach at dance studios, selling her own in California to move to Detroit, Michigan with Andreas when he took up the role as Head Trainer for HKW’s Rise gym. She taught ballroom for quite some time at a well-known academy, but the wrestling bug seems to have bitten her again. Back in January, she announced that she would come out of retirement and invited wrestlers from anywhere and everywhere to step up to the plate. This was met with enthusiasm, but she had her eye on FGA. She had wrestled very briefly for the federation and she was impressed with how much they had grown.
She had only been planning on a year-long tour… But as she looks around at all the talent FGA has gained in her year's long absence, she finds herself both impressed and concerned. No longer looking to win titles and be the top player, she is looking around for the stars with the most potential to help build up. She has a vision for what wrestling’s future should look like and she won’t rest until she finds others who share in her vision that will enable her to see it come to pass.
She also may or may not be looking to cause a little mischief along the way…

ENTRANCE & ATTIRE
Entrance Music:
"Believer" by Imagine Dragons
Ring Attire:
Ring jackets in various colors and designs, always French-cut like a dress of Tudor-era women, ring attire is sparkly black boots, boy-shorts style tights and Black halter top with corset style strings around the bust (typically black and sparkly, matching her boots)
Ring Entrance:
The lights go dim as the first drum beats of “Believer” by Imagine Dragons start. As the music kicks up, a single purple spotlight hits the stage, and the silhouette of Heather Lasiewicz is seen dancing. The camera gets a close-up and she’s seen clearly singing the first lines of the song with the music.
“First things first, Imma say all the words inside my head
I’m fired up and tired of the way that things have been, ooooohhhh
The way that things have been, ooooh”
As she sings, she slinks towards the ring, the spotlight following her every step. Her body sways naturally to the beat of the song, acting out the words of the song as it plays out through the arena. The song cuts to the pause before the chorus as she hops up onto the ring apron. She slowly unbuttons her ring jacket, swaying her hips to the music.
“PAIN!!!!”
As the singer yells out the word, she lets the jacket fall.
”You make me a, you make a believer! Believer!”
Heather grabs the ropes and lets herself fall back in a burlesque style dance move. She uses this momentum to hop onto the bottom rope, in turn using that momentum to flip herself over the top rope and into the ring. The lights come back fully as she walks around the ring, soaking in the noise of the crowd and mentally prepping for her match as the music fades out.
