Los Angeles California, the apartment of Susan, Gina, and Becky.
Susan, Becky, and Gina are sitting at the table, enjoying their breakfast.
Gina: Tough luck Susan, I mean you looked great in your match, though.
Susan: Yeah, NEON was quite the challenge, no knows maybe if I meet her in the ring again I might win next time.
Becky: Yeah, I can’t believe how much you have improved, not that I know much about wrestling.
Susan: Dana is a great teacher, she has some new moves she wants to teach me.
Gina: Unlike your agent, she’s scum I mean trying to get you to do porn.
Susan: Why did you bring that up again, Gina.
Gina: Because I’m sure she’s still going to get you to do that.
Becky: You don’t always stand up for yourself, Susan but if Kendra bring that up again, you need to tell her to fuck off.
Susan: Oh, I not doing porn, it’s disgusting.
Susan finished her breakfast and left to train for her next match. She arrived at Dana’s School, Dana was already running some of the students through some moves, Susan enters the locker room then emerges in her training gear and climbs into the ring and runs through her move set. Dana steps into the ring and locks up with Susan and they run through counters and chain wrestling, Dana runs through her class then dismisses her students. Susan after taking a shower, is in her street clothes, consisting of jeans, sneakers, a sweatshirt, and Kansas City Royals baseball cap, she wave to Dana to waves back, Susan exits the school climbs into her 06 Ford Focus and drives off. As she is making her way back into her apartment, her phone rings and she pulls into the Walmart parking lot and answers.
Susan: Oh, hey, Kendra. The meeting, no I haven’t forgotten, I was on my way home to change, 3:00 O’clock okay I’ll be there.
Susan arrives back at her apartment and changes into a dress heads of for her meeting, she arrives at the Puma headquarters, where Kendra is waiting for her and they head into the office.
Wendy Karlson: Welcome, Susan.
Susan: Hey, Mrs.Karlson.
Wendy: You can call me Wendy.
Susan: Okay.
Wendy: So your first run of ads with us were a huge success, sells of our female athletic wear rose seventy percent, which is why I asked you to come here today, we want to expand into swimwear, how comfortable do you feel being photographed in a bikini.
Susan: I don’t know if I feel comfortable doing that, no offense.
Wendy: I respect that, I felt uncomfortable the first time I posed in a swimsuit.
Kendra smelling dollar signs asked Susan to step outside.
Kendra: I get the whole modest thing, but this is another great opportunity to get your face out there.
Susan: I don’t think anyone will be looking at my face.
Kendra: Just try it, and if you feel uncomfortable, just stop it.
Susan: Well, I suppose I could try it.
Kendra: Great.
Kendra and Susan step back inside.
Susan: Okay I’ll try it, but If I feel uncomfortable, I’m gonna stop.
Wendy waves a girl over who is carrying several bikini’s Susan takes one and goes and changes, she steps out into the room and Kendra can’t believe her eyes. The photographer snaps several pictures and Susan goes and changes and come back into the room, where Wendy and Kendra are looking at the photos as Susan walks over.
Wendy: You're a natural Susan, the camera loves you.
Susan doesn’t say anything, instead she starts texting on her phone, the meeting continues for another hour then she and Kendra leave and are walking in the parking lot.
Kendra: Wanna get some lunch.
Susan: Sorry, Kendra I’m meeting Gina and Becky, they're trying to get me a job at the clothing store they work at, the extra income will really help me.
Kendra: I don’t think that’s a good idea, your schedule is very busy.
Susan: I can handle it, Kendra. Anyway I have to go.
Susan climbs into her car and drives off.
Kendra is visibly angry as she dials her phone.
Kendra: My office now.
Kendra climbs into her convertible and drives off. Later Susan, Gina, and Becky are sitting inside McDonald's.
Gina: I really think you nailed the interview, Susan and with Becky and I, putting in a good word for you I'm sure you’ll get the job.
Susan: I hope so, that extra money will certainly help my mom.
Becky: Isn’t her girlfriend rich.
Susan: Yeah, Keller and her family are rich, they own the biggest hardware store in Wichita. But my mom isn’t with Keller for her money, she loves Keller.
Gina: Isn’t that weird for you Susan, your best friend dating your mom.
Susan: It was weird at first, but I’m okay with it now.
Susan, Becky, and Gina leave McDonald's and drive to the beach. Gina and Becky lay out rocking their bikinis. Susan stick to her shorts and tank top. As Gina and Becky flirt with the boys, Susan excuses herself and goes for a walk, she scan the FGA website and finds the bio of her opponent Hercules Cortez.
Susan: By I have my work cut out for me this week.
Susan stops walking and sits in the sand.
Susan: Hello Mr. Cortez, my name is Susan Kent and I’m your opponent for this weeks Vertigo, I’m sure that no one is giving me a chance against you since you're so much bigger than me, but I’m a lot tougher than people think, and I look forward to the enormous challenge I have in facing you. Mr. Cortez I now you may never want to know me outside of wrestling, that our only encounters will be wrestling related, but I hope to someday be a role model to girls like your daughter, to show them that girls can be whatever they put their minds to and Mr. Cortez I hope we can have a great match that all the fans in Rio Rancho will be talking about after the show is over, I wish you good luck Mr. Cortez.
Susan stands up.
Susan: I’m sure my friends are wondering where I am, so I say good-bye for now, but I’ll be seeing you at vertigo. See Ya.
