It's Time...

He’s nervous. Which may seem weird as this isn’t the first time he’s done this. In fact, he’s being doing this sort of thing for a while now. But this is different. This feels different. It’s bigger, heavier. Everything he has done has lead up to this moment. And sure by the amount of “Triple T” chants that arose from the audience when he made his debut last week, some of the fans know who he is. But to those FGA purist that never paid attention to Lion’s Den Fighting Championship, or the 3GW, or follow SAP Wrestling on the east coast where he is starting to make waves as well, he’s just another random showing up trying to make a name for himself. As the man known to most as Triple T sits on his couch in the middle of his apartment, waiting for the camera record light to turn on, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. As soon as the light turns red…
TRIPLE T: FGA…the name’s Terry…Terry Tillman, but usually in the world of Wrestling I’m known by Triple T. I wanted to start by saying that it is an honor to finally arrive here. I have worked long and hard to finally make it to Frontier Grappling Arts and it’s like a dream to me that has finally come true.
For those that don’t know I started out in FGA’s former training organization Lion’s Den Fighting Championship. I was there from the day the doors opened, till the day they closed. I was the first wrestler on the roster to move through each training level and was one of the top competitors in the league.
When our contracts were bought out I joined 3GW and moved here to California. Again I quickly became a top attraction vying for the company’s top title the 3GW Paramount Championship, and winning the 3GW 15 Title…I’ll get back to that later. I was able to do all of this despite the fact that the guy in charge, whose name I don’t think I’m allowed to say due to legalities, had it out for me.
And by had it out for me I mean he really had it out for me. So much so that he set me up to held at the airport, told security at the arena to not let me in for my title shot at the Paramount title, and then stripped me of the 15 title even though it wasn’t even on the line that night!
From there he gave the title to the winner of a random match and now Macy Dover is walking around with my title.
Triple T takes a breath. He’s starting to feel comfortable again. He exhales and continues.
TRIPLE T: Well that should pretty much get us caught up to right now. If FGA is going to recognize the 15 Title, then it needs to recognize that I am it’s true holder until someone defeats me for it. But right now I have something else to concentrate on, and that’s my in ring debut against Blake Rogers.
Blake Rogers, no frills, no pomp, just a mean guy wanting to show his superiority. And I get it. In fact I’m sure once you saw that we were set in this match, you got excited at the possibility of stunting any possible momentum I may have. And I hope you do. I hope you come out wanting to take me out, because like I said on Vertigo to Macy, nothing that I’ve done up this point matters any more. Vertigo is square one for me and I promise I will do what I do best.
The verbal history is done. And now it’s time for action. And that starts with Rogers.
FGA it’s Triple T, it’s Blake Rogers, if you didn’t know me before you will after this match. I’m ready to climb up the rungs of the ladder once again to take my place with the best. FGA fans…superstars on the roster…My name is Triple T…and it’s time!
And like that the weight has been lifted. Tillman hold his head up just that much more before giving his signature half smile to the camera just as it starts to fade out.
