CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Bases:
- Elizabeth Gillies (Faye Valentine)
- Elodie Yung (Kimiko)
- Yon Gonzalez (Julian Tijerina)
Manager:
Julian Tijerina
Gimmick:
Faye Valentine and Kimiko are each other's anti-thesis: The seductive and vocal Valentine often clashes with the solemn but deadly Kimiko, each having come from different backgrounds and upholding different ideologies. Valentine is more about the performance and having fun while Kimiko is always about getting things done right. Strangely, while they are often arguing outside the ring, they are pretty much a cohesive unit when that bell rings. Do opposites really attract? Let Serpent's Touch prove that (somewhat) true.
Strengths:
1. In-ring Rivalry - Faye Valentine and Kimiko have some sort of rivalry between themselves, especially in the ring. One always feels the need to one-up the other, mostly Faye whom Kimiko can't stand being smug. Despite of this otherwise adversarial nature, it actually helps them bring out the best in each other.
2. Uneasy Allies - Faye Valentine and Kimiko know that they're stuck with each other for the foreseeable future. With that knowledge comes a hesitant loyalty to one another. As much as they'd rather be on their respective ways, they can at least make the ride somewhat bearable.
3. Greed is Good - Faye Valentine and Kimiko want gold around their waists, which is primarily why they're with each other at this moment in time. Both know the value of a tag team championship. Both will do their best to achieve their common goal.
Weaknesses:
1. Oil and Water Don't Mix - Faye Valentine and Kimiko do not always get along, as evident by how they take to each other outside of the ring. They are each other's anti-thesis, which makes it easy for them to get in an argument.
2. Hardcore Inexperience - As much as possible, Faye Valentine and Kimiko would rather not get in a fist fight. They're better wrestlers, not fighters. Neither do well trying to duck a ladder.
3. Imbalance - Faye Valentine and Kimiko are an unbalanced scale: Valentine is younger, more of a risk taker, and has a lot to prove to herself, whereas Kimiko is older, calmer, and more strategic in her approach to everything. Where Valentine's death-defying gambles force Kimiko to come to her aid, which the latter views completely avoidable, the same can happen with roles reversed: Kimiko's strategies aren't always fool-proof, which can force Valentine to alter her own path just to make the detour of saving her partner.
Bio:
Faye Valentine and Kimiko met through their common acquiantance: The Venomous Virtuoso, Julian Tijerina. Kimiko's father, the legendary Sekichiku Kyo, trained Julian whom Kimiko also helped train. Julian in turn helped train Valentine. Serpent's Touch came be when Julian and Valentine bumped into each other during one of Valentine's gigs. Julian had heard about it and wanted to "catch up" with an old friend. Unfortunately for him, another old friend caught up with him as well: Kimiko. Valentine later played Julian's theme live for a PPV event, which saw him get beaten down in a two-on-one ambush, only for Kimiko and then Valentine to come to his aid. A few weeks later, Valentine started to appear as Julian's valet before becoming an in-ring talent. Around the same time, Julian also brought Kimiko in as his "enforcer." It didn't take long for Valentine and Kimiko to start teaming up, realizing they could be more than just antagonistic allies. Dubbing themselves Serpent's Touch, the pair has unleashed an affliction over FGA Wrestling, one that the roster might not survive.

Ring Entrance:
The lights go out. A lone purple spotlight reveals the silhouettes of Faye Valentine and Kimiko through the smoke covering the stage. Kimiko has her head bowed, wearing a kendo stick on her back and her trademark oni bandana around the bottom half of her face. "Heart Killer" by Gossling begins to play, and The Divine Valentine sings her team's theme as the smoke slowly dissipates around them. Kimiko looks up, and with Faye Valentine right behind her, begins to walk down the ramp to the ring as the lone purple spotlight breaks into several purple spotlights, drowning the arena in a sea of royal blood.
[div align="center"]I am known as a killer
A heart killer
I'll have it, so you don't know
I'm nothing but a mean foe
[/div]
Kimiko's full attention is to the ring as Faye Valentine continues singing their theme, both making their respective ways down the ramp and towards the ring. While Kimiko does not turn to look at the fans, not to anyone, ignore everyone and everything in favor of her full concentration on the task at hand, Faye Valentine dances seductively and flirts with the fans at ringside, clearly enjoying the attention she's getting, and she's getting everyone's attention. Faye Valentine graces a fan at ringside with an intimate touch, sliding the tip of her two fingers across his cheek, as her voice helps him reach ecstacy, but she breaks off mere moments before he reaches nirvana. Faye Valentine smirks at him, leaving him, and the rest of the crowd, always wanting more.

Your love partner

Kimiko grabs the middle rope from the floor and hoists herself up the apron. She gets in the ring without any theatrics. Faye Valentine, on the other hand, walks up the steel steps and lingers on the apron, facing the crowd. She dances for a bit before she spins around and inside the ring, straddling the ropes through which she entered the ring, as she continues singing. The crowd dances to their song, latching on to every word that slithers out of her lips. Meanwhile, Kimiko takes to the middle of the ring, bows to each side of the squared circle, and gets down on the mat as she takes the kendo stick from her back. She places the kendo stick right in front of her on the mat and bows to it three times. Finally, as Faye Valentine ends her performance, she whips her hair back and comes back down to the mat, grinning playfully at everyone, including the referee and their opponent. Kimiko gets up, walks to one side of the ring, and once again sits down with her back against the corner ring post, waiting. Faye surrenders her microphone to a stagehand and warms up before the match, another performance, begins.
