Sometime after night one of Showdown in the Sun the 3GW cameras caught Mercy Williams dressed in a dressy casual attire of high-rise white pants with a matching white crop top. Obviously not happy with her loss to Emily Carter, Amanda Johnson stood by her with a microphone.
Amanda Johnson: Thank you for stopping Mercy.
Mercy Williams: Oh, it’s not a problem. I love to be stopped by the likes of you.
Sarcasm echoed through Mercy’s voice making Amanda uneasy. Before Amanda could continue on, Mercy raised up her left hand towards Amanda’s face and snatched the microphone away.
Mercy Williams: You want to know how I’m feeling about my loss? As you can see, I’m not in a good mood. You’re probably wondering what happened to my calm state after my mental retreat. But you know what, I do have a lot of things to say now having much better clarity. Miss Carter probably thinks she overcame everything and gets her bloody happy ending she deserves, But you know what this is the case of? Do you Amanda?
Amanda looked dumbfounded by Mercy’s question. Mercy shook her head and chuckled as answered her own question.
Mercy Williams: Of course you don’t know, Mandy. This is the case of WHITE mediocrity getting the victory. Do you see who is America’s president? That orange piece of crap who wants to ‘America great again’. That’s what Emily is. She’s a slice bread of Americana, she’s a wet dream for ‘em. White America wants her to succeed because that’s how America has always been. It’s the same old bullshit where white people steal the roles of different minorities because that’s how it’s always been. 3GW fans rather a basic white girl with no distinct features to go over a non-white Australian like me. I’ve lived through that struggle all my life.
Mercy was getting fired up at this point as she focused more on the camera than Amanda.
Mercy Williams: All my life I’ve had people pulling me aside and asking ‘Where are you really from?” or straight out asking me ‘What are you’ like some kind of alien. I had my grandmother telling me to stay out of the sun and I should use skin bleach for my dark skin. That was my sad reality I grew up with because I believed I was punished for not being white. In this day of age the minorities have to fight extra hard for our rights more than anything. We need to bond together to take a stand in this dark time.
Mercy took a pause to compose herself. She raised up her index finger to point at the camera.
Mercy Williams: I ended my friendship with Emily because I discovered what type of person she is. Don’t even DARE feed me these lies of Emily having it tough. She thinks this is over? This is FAR from over. You see, Emily thinks it’s adorable to make cute over that fact she’s a basic white girl but Nah-Uh, she can’t cover up her fascism with a silly joke of name for a tag team she was in. The truth is, when another mediocre white girl steps in 3GW, Emily will be thrown away like the trash she is. Relish your victory Emily because your career in 3GW ain’t lasting much longer now.
Mercy shoved the microphone back to Amanda with such force which sent Amanda down to the floor as Mercy stepped over Amanda to walk away.
