We open up to a panning shot of Center Stage Arena in Los Angeles, California! The hot LA crowd is once again going wild for Glitz, Glamour and Glory Wrestling. We then transition over to the play-by-play area where the voice of 3GW, Geoff Penzer, is standing by.


Geoff Penzer: Hello fans and welcome to another installment of Thursday Night Challenge! I am your host, Geoff Penzer! We are just a little under two weeks away from our next Double Feature Weekend event - Showdown in the Sun! With this being the final Challenge before the next supershow, you can bet that all of these wrestlers will try to head into Showdown in the Sun with the most momentum possible.

In one of our key matches tonight, Pedro Gonzales goes one on one with Mercy Williams. Both of these competitors have seen an attitude change as of late. But Pedro’s has been received a lot better than Mercy’s, who has been turning off fans and friends with her shift in philosophy. “The Emerald Jewel” has been looking strong as of late. But you’ve got to imagine that Pedro Gonzales has to feeling more confidant than ever, having pushed the Paramount Champion to the brink two weeks ago.

In our first of two Six Man Tag Team Matches, the 3GW Tag Team Champions, the Gold Star Connection, along with El Grandé Malo will take on the mish-mash team of Avaset Kaiser, Macy Dover and Jaelynn Ramsey. All the wrestlers involved in this matchup are top notch. But I think this one will come down to which team can keep their egos in check and work together for one night only.

Then in our main event, it’s another Six Man Tag Team Match as the Church of Cyn, led by the 3GW Paramount Champion, Cyncity, do battle against Maritza Diaz, Shintaro Majima and the 3GW 15 Champion, Terrence Tillman. On paper, it looks like the Church of Cyn are at a massive disadvantage. I’ve never even heard of Noses F. Ginger or Cyncity’s mascot, Mascot Stitch, ever wrestling before. But on the flipside, Maritza Diaz has already called out Terry Tillman on his behavior in recent months. While the fans have forgiven Triple T and Triple T has once again embraced the fans, The Power Princess isn’t as quick to forgive and forget. The there’s the Strong Style Savior, who had told us point blank that he will not work with Tillman. It seems like it’s only a matter of time until all three of them come to blows. But if they want to win tonight, they’ve got to find a way to stick together.

We’ve got all that and more right here for you tonight. But right now, we’re going to send it on over to Melanie Sierra to give the ring introductions for our opening contest. Mel!

Gabi Beltran vs. Caspian Everett

The arena lights go out as "Rinsha" hits the airwaves. The entrance stage fills up with smoke then the lights begin flashing as Caspian Everett walks out from behind the curtains.

Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is your opening contest of the evening and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Tampa, Florida! Weighing in at 205 pounds! He is “Savage” CASPIAN EVERETT!

He poses on the stage before making his way down the aisle then around the ring before hopping onto the apron and climbing through the middle ropes into the middle of the ring. Caspian Everett poses again before the lights stop flashing and music fades.

Geoff Penzer: Caspian Everett’s got a huge opportunity ahead of him tonight. I heard from the Mayor of Hollywood Jordan Cain that if Everett were able to defeat Gabi Beltran here tonight, the Hollywood Cup Qualifier would become a Five Way Match. It’s not everyday you get an opportunity like this. Let’s see if the “Savage” can make the most of it.

Smoke rises from the entrance area as "Death Rides A Horse" starts to play over the speakers. Soon after, Gabi Beltran emerges looking all business as she keeps her gaze focused straight ahead.

Melanie Sierra: And his opponent, from New York, New York! Weighing in at 144 pounds… GABI BELTRAN!

Making a straight line for the ring, she slides under the bottom rope and rolls to her feet. Quickly removing her leather jacket, she tosses it aside and heads to her corner to prepare for the match ahead.

Geoff Penzer: You can question Gabi Beltran’s suuuuper intense behavior. But you cannot question her results as of late, as she’s been on a bit of an unbeaten streak. If Gabi Beltran keeps this level of wrestling up, she could find herself challenging for the Hollywood Cup.

The match starts with Everett quickly cutting off the ring and wrapping up Beltran in the ropes. Once the ref gives them until the count of five to break things up, Everett steps back at the count of four. But the break is by no means clean as he delivers a kick to the gut. The crowd boos as he latches onto Beltran’s wrist, drags her away from the ropes and delivers an arm wrench, followed by a pronating wristlock. The referee checks in with Beltran and asks if she wants to give up. But Beltran refuses. So Everett slips behind and transitions into a hammerlock. From there, Everett applies pressure, causing Beltran to cringe in pain. Again, the ref checks in and asks her if she wants to give up. But she refuses. She then uses her free arm to elbow Everett in the face before reversing into a hammerlock of her own. The crowd cheers as Beltran was able to take control of the match. But she doesn’t stand in control for long as Everett escapes with a jumping snapmare.

As Beltran gets back to her feet, Everett runs into an adjacent set of ropes. When he comes back, Beltran drops to the canvas. So he hops over her before running into the far ropes. When Everett returns, Beltran gets back to her feet and leapfrogs over him. But instead of running back into the ropes, Everett slams on the brakes. So when Beltran lands back on her feet, he grabs her from behind and knocks her down with a wrist clutch spun into a forearm smash. The crowd boos as he drops down and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Good ring presence there by Everett as he caught Beltran off guard.

Everett picks up Beltran, places her in a front facelock and delivers clubbing shots across the back. Once he lets go, he follows up with a hard European Uppercut that knocks Beltran upright. After two more European Uppercuts, Everett takes Beltran by the arm, wrenches it, places her arm behind her head and then knocks her down with a heart punch. He makes the cover.

Everett picks up Beltran and whips her hard chest first into the turnbuckles. As Beltran stumbles back, Everett wraps his arm around her neck from behind before throwing her down with a sleeper hold lifting slam. He makes the cover.

Everett picks up Beltran and goes for a vertical suplex, but she blocks it. After tightening his grip, Everett goes for another vertical suplex. But again, Beltran blocks it. After four punches to the ribs, Everett begins to lifts up Beltran. But on the way up, Beltran knees him in the head. After Beltran slips back down, she nails Beltran with three kesagiri chops before knocking him down with a feint roundhouse kick followed by a legsweep. She makes the cover.

Beltran moves Everett into the corner and unleashes rapid fire corner shoot kicks. She then takes Everett and irish whips him into the opposite corner. Beltran then runs across the ring before connecting with a corner chop. She then brings him down with an over the shoulder hip throw before making the cover.

Beltran picks up Everett and whips him into the ropes. When Everett comes back, Beltran connects with a running dropkick that sends him through the ropes and to the floor. While Everett tries to pull himself back up, Beltran runs into the far ropes. When she returns, the crowd cheers as she hurls herself over the top rope and knocks him down with a no hands somersault plancha.

Geoff Penzer: Beltran just took out Everett with that big dive to the floor!

Beltran picks up Everett, rolls him back inside, slides back in and makes the cover.

Beltran picks up Everett and throws out a push kick to the body. But Everett catches her foot. He then swings her leg away from him. When Beltran turns around, Everett sends her flipping down to the canvas with a step up enzuigiri. He then picks up Beltran, whips her across the ring, follows her into the corner and connects with a step-up high knee. He then moves Beltran out of the way before hoisting himself up onto the middle ropes, grabbing her and planting her with a Tornado DDT. The crowd boos while he turns over and makes the cover.

Everett picks up Beltran and delivers a pumphandle neckbreaker. He makes the cover.

Everett slowly picks up Beltran… then quickly slips behind her and goes for a German Suplex. But Beltran blocks with three elbows to the face. Once she’s free, she runs into the far ropes. When Beltran returns, the crowd boos when Everett throws her down with a belly to belly overhead suplex. He crawls over and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Another close call for Beltran! Everett is so close to that three count!

Everett picks up Beltran, grabs her by the wrist and throws out a short-arm clothesline. But Beltran ducks and runs towards the ropes. When Everett turns around, the crowd cheers when he gets knocked down by a handspring enzuigiri. She makes the cover.

Beltran picks up Everett and goes for an irish whip. But Everett reverses the irish whip and goes for another short-arm clothesline. But Beltran ducks with a Matrix evasion before follows up with a backflip kick. She makes the cover.

Beltran picks up Everett and delivers a jumping toe kick combo, followed by a spinning back elbow, followed by a standing moonsault.

But Everett gets his knees up!

Geoff Penzer: Everett blocked the moonsault at the last second! Beltran just came crashing down across his knees!

After pulling up Beltran from behind, Everett throws out another wrist clutch spun into a forearm smash. But Beltran ducks. When Everett turns around, the crowd cheers when Beltran knocks him down with an MMA wheel kick. She makes the cover.

Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the match, GABI BELTRAN!

The crowd continue to cheer as Beltran gets her arm raised.

Geoff Penzer: Good effort tonight by Caspian Everett. But Gabi Beltran was able to rack up yet another win as she heads into Showdown in the Sun. I know it’s a four way match and you’ve got to keep your head on a swivel. But with the role she’s been on, I like Beltran’s chances.

EARLIER TODAY

We cut to a prerecorded segment from earlier in the day where Jenny Knite and Avaset Kaiser sit opposite each other, dressed in street clothes as opposed to wrestling attire, each on a black chair, easy to miss in the black background, while Amanda Johnson sits between the two. All of them are mic’d up, prepared for an interview.

Amanda Johnson: Ladies, thank you for coming here to the show early so we could conduct this interview tonight. For those that may be joining us for the first time at home-- Avaset, Jenny, the two of you are scheduled to compete in a Submission Match at Showdown in the Sun in two and a half weeks, where there are no pinfalls, no countouts, and no disqualifications… the only way to win is by submitting your opponent inside the ring. All due respect to both of you, I have to ask, how did things get to this point? Why did things get to this point?

Jenny opens her mouth to respond, but she’s quickly interrupted by the Killer Queen.

Avaset Kaiser: Jenny stuck her nose in the wrong person’s business, Amanda. My words that she took exception to were just a generalization, and I was just using her as an example. Now, she finds herself as the example for everyone in 3GW the suffering the Bridge causes. Oh, were you going to say something, sweetie?

Avaset’s eyes told the story as she glares a hole through Jenny as she opens her mouth to speak again.

Avaset Kaiser: Well…?

Jenny turns away for a moment, muttering under her breath as she laughs bitterly. With a sigh, lying her hands flat down on her lap, she looks at Amanda Johnson with a polite-- but maybe forced-- smile.

Jenny Knite: I don’t mean to speak past you, Amanda.

Exhaling, Jenny goes on.

Jenny Knite: I don’t know why I had to be the generalization. I don’t know why I had to be the example in the first place to be honest. And the more I see of you, Avaset, the more I wonder where you get off talking down to me… looking down at me…

Jenny shakes her head a little.

Jenny Knite: The Bridge hurts. You, numbers aside, are an awesome wrestler. I want to deny that so bad, but I can’t. Truth be told though, I’m at the point where I’m wondering if all your greatness is in your own head or if there’s something wrong with me and somehow, the Bridge is better than the Calf Slicer and somehow, you are better than me. You think so. I don’t, though. So it got this far because we just haaave to find out.

Amanda opens her mouth to ask another question, but Avaset almost immediately talks right through her, snapping back at her arch-nemesis, Jenny Knite.

Avaset Kaiser: Mien dearest Jenny. It doesn’t matter which submission hold is more painful. What matters is who locks in their respective submission move first, and if the unfortunate victim, you, can handle the agonizing pain long enough to find a way out. Allow me to save everyone the trouble of having to wonder if Jenny can. No, Jenny can’t. That has been her entire wrestling career: finding out that she just never will quite be good enough. During my first night in 3GW, Jenny, you were just a passing whisper on my lips. You took exception so I am going to show you exactly what I meant when I said I would make you tap out.

Amanda Johnson looks a bit taken aback at how quickly things escalated between the two. She takes a breath, looking from Avaset to Jenny.

Amanda Johnson: I thought for this interview we were going to--

Jenny Knite: I really don’t care what it was to you, Ava. If you think this match is about something as simple as who gets their move in first...

Jenny shrugs a little, adjusting in her chair, rethinking her comment.

Jenny Knite: ...heh, maybe you’re onto something there. Obviously, though, it’s about who gets their hold on last, and I plan on doing both of those things. I’m not claiming to be the be-all, end-all here, but if the Bridge is that good-- if you’re that good-- then where’s the proof? Where are the people in 3GW vouching for you and vouching for the Bridge? If you’re that good, ‘Killer Queen’, then why is no one scared yet?

Avaset Kaiser: They are! They’re terrified!

Avaset abruptly jumps out of her seat, and before you can say ‘fight,’ security is between Avaset and Jenny, ensuring that the fight wouldn’t happen until Showdown in the Sun.

Avaset Kaiser: You are just too… too…

Kaiser seems to have lost her train of thought because she just suddenly unleashes a hellacious shriek as if she had just transformed into a banshee. Everyone within earshot save for Jenny Knite and Ava herself attempts to protect their ears.

Jenny Knite: Wow.

Amanda looks prepared to ask the infuriated Avaset a question, but stops as the Killer Queen gives her an indistinguishable look of rage. Before anything else can be said, Avaset runs off set throwing what seems to be a fit. She pulls her smartphone out and calls someone. The last thing we hear is Avaset saying the words, “Vati.” Meanwhile, the camera pans back to Jenny, who shakes her head in the direction Avaset walked off to. She sighs, pushing herself out of her seat and giving Amanda Johnson a polite smile.

Jenny Knite: Some people, right? You’ll probably want to cover your ears at Showdown in the Sun too. Thanks for the interview, Amanda.

With a soft wink and a smile, Jenny excuses herself from the set, walking off frame as the scene cuts.

★★★ Showcase Match - Singles ★★★

Ashley Maldano vs. Jenny Knite

The creeping opening of “Other Side” By New Years Day hits the P.A system and the fans in attendance turn to jeering boos. An array of purple and blue lights flash as Ashley comes skipping out, smirking as she shrugs her shoulders looking out.

Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is set for ONE FALL! Introducing first, from Chicago, Illinois! Weighing in at 000 pounds... ASHLEY MALDANO!

Not really caring if people cheer or boo, Ashley nods her head to the music soaking in the lyrics as her eyes are peeled to the ring. Twirling her baseball bat around she slides into the ring, grinning as she tosses her bat up in the air, smirking out into the audience awaiting her opponent.

Geoff Penzer: The brash Ashley Maldano has vowed to make an example out of Jenny Knite here and continue to build momentum towards her Hollywood Cup qualifier at Showdown in the Sun.

“Replay” hits the PA system as a soft, pink lighting illuminates the top of the stage. Within seconds, Jenny Knite emerges from through the curtains, grinning as soon as her eyes hit the crowd. She rushes to the barrier on either-side of the ramp, leaping up onto it to group-hug a few members of the crowd nearest to the front.

Melanie Sierra:And her opponent, from Baltimore, Maryland! Weighing in at 132 pounds... JENNY KNITE!

With a smile she drops back down to the entranceway and turns, running to the side of the ring and leaping up onto the apron, landing on a knee. With a playful wink and kiss to the crowd, Jenny pulls herself up and propels herself over the top rope, into the ring, playing to the crowd on the turnbuckles as she awaits competition.

Geoff Penzer: Jenny Knite's made her goals clear for this match. Make Ashley tap out, heading into her submission match at Showdown in the Sun with her rival Avaset Kaiser.

After tossing her bat aside, Ashley Maldano tries to catch Knite with a running big boot right at the sound of the bell. Jenny was alert though and manages to deftly pick the leg, looking for an ankle lock early on! Maldano quickly scoots away towards the ropes before it can get properly locked in, telling the ref to call for a break.

Geoff Penzer: A wild start right off the bat, courtesy of Maldano, who has no problem breaking the rules.

Ref: ONE ..

Jenny breaks clean and the referee backs her off as Ashley calls for space, pointing out that she's tied up in the ropes. As the official makes sure Knite gives her space, the Chicago native springs to her feet, using the ref as a human shield to deliver a clean running forearm smash that Jenny is unable to get her hands up to defend. She doubles over, allowing Ashley to grab her adversary by the hair and slam her down, causing the back of Knite's head to bounce off the mat. The official scolds Maldano, who gives him a cursory nod of acknowledgment, before she quickly dives down to grab a schoolyard side headlock, unleashing a flurry of short rabbit punches on the mat.

Geoff Penzer: Some questionable tactics putting Maldano on the offensive and she's targeting the head and neck of Knite, who it's no secret missed a long period of time with a broken neck.

Knite attempts to roll away back up to her feet, pushing herself upright. As she does so, she's met with a knee to the body from Maldano, who follows with a left-right combination targeting the head. Ashley goes for an irish whip off the ropes that gets reversed; Maldano comes off on the rebound, getting knocked down with a spinning heel kick! She stumbles back up and Jenny takes a moment to grab at her neck, before staying on the attack, trying to knot up the legs of her foe with a series of low roundhouse kicks. After getting Ashley to focus on blocking the strikes, Jenny quickly switches it up, deftly spinning behind her and performing a backslide.

Geoff Penzer: Knite looking for the quick pin attempt there, perhaps trying to counter Maldano's ultra-aggressive streak tonight with some finesse.

Upon kicking out and rolling up, Ashley uses her low starting point to drive up and get under the legs of her opponent. She then lunges forward, delivering a modified double leg slam into the corner, causing Jenny's head and neck to snap back violently against the top turnbuckle pad! The official tries to ask if she's okay and Knite can barely manage to muster a grimace and thumbs up with the hand that isn't holding her neck, when she gets sandwiched in the corner with a high speed body avalanche by Ashley, who then throws her to the mat and drops into a side press while hooking the far leg closest to the ropes.

Geoff Penzer: Maldano continuing her strategy here, but you have to wonder if those big explosive bursts of energy will come back to bite her later on if she can't put Jenny away quickly.

As Jenny starts to sit up, Ashley delivers a hard roundhouse kick to the back which causes her to contort her features in pain. The Southside Slugger then takes a short step back and delivers a straight running boot towards her seated opponent, but Knite catches the foot! Shaking her head, she walks herself up to her feet, using Maldano's body to help balance herself and then delivers a dragon screw leg whip.

Geoff Penzer: That could be a much needed momentum swing for Knite right there.

Ashley grimaces, trying to shake her leg out, while Jenny takes a moment to clutch the back of her head. Knite is able to return to her feet quicker, performing a snapmare on Maldano as she hobbles up, then a running calf kick to the back of the head. She drops into the cover, hooking a tight half-nelson.

Ashley powers her shoulder up, flopping to her stomach. She isn't safe though, as Jenny takes that opportunity to grab an ankle lock!

Geoff Penzer: Knite going for the ankle lock again and this time the leg's been softened up some!

She stands up and cinches it in, torquing on the ankle as Maldano tries crawl to the ropes. Ashley is unable to, instead having to spin to her back and deliver an upwards kick with her free leg. That strikes seems to bother the neck that has been targeted to this point and Ashley follows by pushing Jenny off with both legs, knocking her back ass-over-teakettle. Knite is still a bit quicker to get up than the hobbled Maldano and goes for a running leg lariat. However, the Baltimore native's head of steam gets used against her as Ashley gets just enough contact to alley oop her backwards and continue her momentum so she overshoots her target. Jenny lands in the corner, coming down face first on the top turnbuckle, snapping her head back. She stumbles backwards, right into a straightjacket sit-out mat slam by Ashley, who reaches forward to hook both legs as deeply as she can!

Kick out by Jenny!

Geoff Penzer: Ashley looks in disbelief that Knite is surviving this punishment. If you look on the replay, Jenny had the presence of mind-- I don't know how-- to kick out using the shoulder that Ashley had covered with her bad leg. That might have been the difference between a three count right there.

Maldano looks at the referee in disbelief before trying to consider her options. She takes a look at the corner and the positioning of Knite's body before she gingerly makes her way over and starts a slow ascent up top. Ashley has to stop at the second rope to grab her knee, but decides to keep climbing, slowly managing to perch herself up top. The amount of time she took allowed Jenny to recover and explode up with a big burst of adrenaline, leaping to deliver a super frankensteiner sending Ashley flying across the ring! Maldano is down, writhing in pain and Jenny is collapsed in a prone position, while the fans in the Center Stage Arena applaud the guts shown by Knite. Seeing both wrestlers are slow to stir, the official starts a standing ten count.

Ref: ONE ... TWO ... THREE ... FOUR ...

Both Jenny and Ashley start to crawl up to their hands and knees, while also moving to converge in the center of the ring.

Ref:FIVE ... SIX ... SEVEN ...

They push themselves up, leaning forward against each other and Ashley strikes first with a forearm smash, but Jenny returns fire with one of her own. The wrestlers start trading strikes, with "boos" and "yays" from the crowd accompanying each one. Finally, Maldano takes control with a hard flurry of forearm shivers to the compromised upper body of Knite. That wobbles Jenny, while Ashley grits her teeth and circles back for a big clothesline. Instead,Knite lunges forward as well, delivering a vicious kick to the shin which sends Maldano flipping in the air! The wrestler from Chicago hits the mat hard, grabbing her lower leg and Jenny drops down to lock in the Calf Slicer! Ashley looks for a way to escape, but can't find one and has to start slowly trying to inch her way towards the ropes as fans call for her to tap. She gets close to the ropes and Knite tries to adjust her grip so she can pull her back away. In that process, Maldano manages to free herself just enough to squirm and hug the bottom rope for dear life, forcing a break.

Geoff Penzer: Like her attitude or not, Ashley showed her toughness there in a situation where a lot of wrestlers would have tapped out and now it's gut-check time for both performers.

Knite releases the hold immediately, not bothering to work the five count-- perhaps out of sportsmanship, or perhaps just to conserve her energy. She crawls on her hands and knees, grabbing the back of her neck, while Ashley rolls outside to the apron for some reprieve. As Jenny makes her way back upright, she sees Maldano using the ropes to pull herself up on the apron. Knite hits the ropes, looking for a triangle springboard enzuigiri -- and gets her neck snapped off the top rope with a hotshot counter out of mid-air! She falls violently back into the ring, clutching at her throat trying to get her breath back.

Geoff Penzer: Oh no! That was a scary looking counter to the previously targeted neck of Jenny Knite. And judging by the look on Ashley Maldano's face right now, she may have been playing a bit of possum out on the apron to lure her in.

Ashley smirks at the jeering crowd, before re-entering the ring -- albeit moving quite hobbled-- to finish off Knite. She sets Jenny up, then lifts her in the air for her Gory Neckbreaker known as the AshAttack-- which gets countered into a sunset flip bomb! A rocked Ashley wobbles back to her feet and Jenny summons her remaining reserves to step up, pushing off Maldano's bad leg to flip over and perform a Knitefall somersault hangman's neckbreaker! She collapses into the cover, draping an arm across the chest!

The referee calls for the bell and "Replay" hits again to the cheers of the appreciative 3GW crowd.

Melanie Sierra: Here is your winner, JENNY KNITE!

The slow electronic beats echo through the arena kicking into the chorus of "Don't Hurt Me" by DJ Mustard. Mercy Williams struts on to the stage with a sly smirk upon her face soaking in the reaction from the audience. Mercy walks down the walkway emphasizing hips to the movements of the beat of the music .

Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Sydney, Australia! Weighing in at 137 pounds! She is “The Emerald Jewel”, MERCY WILLIAMS!

Mercy climbs up to the apron and spins around on her right knee down and her left leg bent and and gets her feet blowing a kiss to the fans. Mercy ducks under the top rope to climb into the ring and poses with her arms spread with swagger.

Geoff Penzer: Mercy Williams have been full of herself as of late. But she’s also been full of hate towards her former friend, Emily Carter. But those two will have their chance to settle things during Night 1 of Showdown in the Sun.

It starts the way all life starts. A heartbeat, heavy breathing, and darkness. The bass kicks in doubling the beat, the groove sneaks itself inside as a random assortment of lights flicker on the ramp way before a spotlight hits on a lone figure with a red hooded cape who shuffles his feet atop the ramp. He keeps his head down before unveiling himself as Pedro Gonzales by taking off the cape with a flourish.

Melanie Sierra: And her opponent, from Mexico City, Mexico! Weighing in at 115 pounds! He is “The New Pride of Mexico”, PEDRO GONZALES!

He spreads his arms out as he races past, slapping as many fans hands as possible before sliding into the ring. Cue face like theatrics.

Geoff Penzer: It was two weeks ago that Pedro Gonzales had Cyncity dead to right. He had her trapped in his cross armbreaker with nowhere to go. The arm was fully extended. Some would say that Cyncity was seconds away from tapping out. That is, until Masco Stitch dragged his glorious leader to safely. Gonzales got the win via count out. He knows that the Paramount Champion couldn’t save herself. But Gonzales doesn’t get the satisfaction of saying that he pinned Cyncity or made her submit.

The bell sounds as Gonzales and Williams immediately get into each others faces before Williams shoves Gonzales back. Gonzales smiles as he circles the ring before locking up. After jockeying for position, Gonzales places Williams in a side headlock. But Williams is able to shove Gonzales off of her and into the ropes. When Gonzales returns, the crowd boos when Williams knocks him down with a standing shoulder block. She then runs into another set of ropes as Gonzales gets back to his feet. When Williams returns, she knocks Gonzales down with another shoulder block. Williams then turns and heads into another set of ropes as Gonzales gets back to his feet. When Williams returns, Gonzales leapfrogs over her. After bouncing off the ropes, Williams comes back. Gonzales then performs another leapfrog as Williams heads into the ropes. When Williams returns, Gonzales knocks her down with a dropkick. Williams gets back up, only to get knocked back down by another dropkick. When Williams gets back to her feet, Gonzales throws her down with an arm drag. Williams gets back up. But she quickly gets sent back down with another arm drag. After Williams returns to her feet, Gonzales sends her down with another arm drag and transitions into an armbar. Gonzales is met with cheers and applause from the crowd.

Geoff Penzer: Just like that, Gonzales takes control of the match. Gonzales is scheduled to face the Gold Star Connection at Showdown in the Sun for the Tag Team Titles. But Gonzales hasn’t revealed who his tag partner is going to be. You would think it’d be El Grandé Malo since he’s one half of Bueno Club. But that hasn’t been announced yet.

The ref gets down and asks Williams if she wants to give up. But Williams refuses. After battling back to her free, she uses her free arm to move Gonzales into the ropes. While Gonzales is pressed against the ropes, the ref gives them until the count of five to break it up.

Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…

As soon as Gonzales lets go, the crowd boos when Williams cheapshots him with a left hook to the midsection. She then rocks Gonzales with a series of European Uppercuts against the ropes. After a hard knee to the midsection, Williams takes Gonzales and whips him into the far ropes. When Gonzales returns, Williams scoops him up across his shoulders, falls back and delivers a Samoan Drop. She reaches over and hooks the leg for the lazy cover.

Williams picks up Gonzales and socks him with a right hand that sends Gonzales staggering over towards the ropes. Williams comes up from behind, places him in a side headlock and rakes his face along the top rope. After Gonzales staggers into the corner, Williams turns him around and delivers a set of knife edge chops before capping it off with a slap across the face. Williams then trash talks Gonzales. But her trash talk is cut short when Gonzales returns by slapping the taste out of Williams’ mouth.

Geoff Penzer: Judging by the roar from the crowd, they loved that one!

Gonzales takes Williams, switches positions with her in the corner and lights up her chest with a series of chops of his own. He then takes Williams and whips her into the opposite corner. Gonzales charges across the ring and goes to attack. But Williams ducks the attack and dumps Gonzales over the top rope and to the floor.

Luckily for Gonzales, he lands safely on his feet! He then pulls Williams down to the canvas before yanking her hard to the floor. After Williams splats on the canvas, she gets up on all fours. But Gonzales quickly flattens her with a stomp to the back. He then rolls back into the ring and claps his hands. The crowd quickly takes their cue and begin to join in with the claps.

Geoff Penzer: It looks like Mexico City’s Favorite Son is gearing up for one of his patented dives to the outside.

While Williams slowly pulls herself up using the edge of the apron, Gonzales takes off into the ropes. When Gonzales returns, he connects with a baseball slide that knocks Williams back into the guardrail. As Williams makes her way off the rail, Gonzales gets back up and runs into the far ropes. When Williams returns, the crowd cheers as Gonzales hurls himself over the top rope and knocker her down with a no hands topé.

Geoff Penzer: Gonzales just flattened Williams with that topé to the outside!

Gonzales slides back in and waves up Williams. While Williams struggles to get back to a vertical base, Gonzales takes off into the ropes. When Gonzales returns, he goes for a double rotation tornillo to the outside. But Williams rolls back in at the last second, causing Gonzales to crash hard on the floor. The crowd erupts with boos while Gonzales writhes in pain on the outside.

Geoff Penzer: Gonzales may have gone for one dive too many! Ouch!

The crowd continues its booing as Williams rolls back to the outside and puts the boots to Gonzales. She then brings him back to his feet before ramming him back-first against the side of the ring three times. Williams then brings Gonzales over towards the ropes before delivering a flapjack across the guardrail. Gonzales bounces off the rail and collapses to the floor. Gonzales curls up in pain. But Williams shows no mercy as she delivers several stomps to the body. She then rolls back in, then back out to restart the count.

Geoff Penzer: If this is how she’s treating Pedro Gonzales, I can only imagine what she does to Emily Carter at Showdown in the Sun.

Williams picks up Gonzales, rolls him back into the ring and then positions his upper body across the apron. After taking a few steps back, Williams runs forward before connecting with the Drive By (running front dropkick to to opponent draped on the apron). She then rolls back in, drags Gonzales away from the ropes and makes the cover.

Williams picks up Gonzales, brings him into the corner and lifts him up onto the top turnbuckle. After climbing up onto the middle ropes, Williams goes for a superplex. But Gonzales blocks it. Williams tightens her grip before going for another superplex. But again, Gonzales blocks it. Gonzales then nails Williams with five punches to the ribs. He then rocks Williams with a right hand that sends her slowly falling off the top ropes and crashing down to the canvas.

Gonzales stands up on the top turnbuckle, leaps off and delivers a diving double foot stomp on Williams. After rolling off of her, Gonzales crawls back over and makes the cover. The crowd cheers.

Williams puts the boots to Gonzales while he’s curled up on the canvas. Williams then turns Gonzales over before locking him in Beg For Mercy (Muta Lock).

Geoff Penzer: This is the second time in two weeks that Pedro Gonzales has been cheated to of a pin or submission.

The crowd continues to boo as Williams cranks away on the hold. But the boos turn to cheers as Emily Carter races down to the ring.

As soon as Carter slides in, Williams lets go. Carter then goes after Williams. But Williams is able to slip out of the ring at the last second. Carter motions for Williams to come back inside. But Williams is in no rush to get back in the ring. Instead, she makes her way up the aisle before heading to the back...

"No Regrets" by the Sohodolls begins to play throughout the venue. A small cloud of smoke appears on stage, outlining the silhouette of a petite woman. The woman, revealed to be Jaelynn Ramsey walks through the cloud and onto the ramp.

Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, the following Six Man Tag Team Match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Oakland, California! Weighing in at 122 pounds… JAELYNN RAMSEY!

She walks down the ramp completely ignoring the fans. She then walks up the steel steps, entering through the ring ropes. As the music fades out, she backs into a turnbuckle, doing a last second stretch before go-time.

Geoff Penzer: I don’t know how Jaelynn did it. But credit to her. She did find someone that would team with her. Unfortunately for Peaches, it was her friend Dom Harter. I still don’t know why on earth Dom Harter would willingly team with someone that his friend can’t stand against her and one of his best friends. Regardless, it will be Dom Harter and Jaelynn Ramsey against Peaches and Dan Herrera at Showdown in the Sun.

"Turn Down For What" by Upon a Burning Body feat. Ice T begins playing throughout the arena as the crowd bursts out into a chorus of boos. Macy Dover steps out from behind the curtain, ignoring the fans as she marches down the aisle, heading towards the ring at pace.

Melanie Sierra: Her partner, from National City, California! Weighing in at 135 pounds! She is the “Bulldover”, MACY DOVER!

The fans continue booing as Macy climbs up onto the ring apron, posing for a moment before she steps into the ring.

Geoff Penzer: Macy Dover was not happy about being placed in this match. Then again, Macy has always found something to gripe about since coming to 3GW. She says she’s going to win this match with or without Avaset and Jaelynn’s help. But I’m not sure if that’s the best attitude to have when you’re going up against the competition they’re facing here tonight.

As the beginning of "Primadonna(Panda Eyes Remix)" by Marina & The Diamonds kicks up over the sound system as those around the ring area begin booing. Meanwhile, at the top of the entrance ramp, spotlights point toward the entrance tunnel where "The Crown Jewel of Germany" Avaset Kaiser emerges. She raises her arms into the air, taking in the atmosphere with her eyes closed, standing as a beautiful statue before the jeering crowd.

After a long moment, she glances around at the fans in the crowd as they yell various things at her. It seems as though she has an answer for whatever they're shouting, but she blows them off before making her way to the ring. While most of the fans boo her, there are people in the crowd who clearly find her so attractive that they don't care about her antics and thus cheer or whistle at her, but she blows them off as well.

With that, she takes her corner, lounging on the ropes in the corner while she awaits the beginning of the match.

Geoff Penzer: As you saw from an interview taped earlier today, both Avaset Kaiser and Jenny Knite have gotten into it yet again. At this point, it’s very clear that Jenny Knite has gotten underneath the skin of “The Crown Jewel.” But can she keep her composure here tonight? Maybe. But if Jenny Knite finds herself down by ringside, I expect all hell to break loose.

The house lights dim slightly as the gentle sound of a piano playing gives way and the beat drops. Bursting from behind the curtain, El Grandé Malo stomps his way out onto the stage bouncing in time with the music.

Melanie Sierra: And their opponents! Introducing first, from Mexico, Maine! Weighing in at 205 pounds… EL GRANDE MALO!

He hops and jogs down to the ring, slapping the outstretched hands along the way, before sliding into the ring and heading for the nearest corner. He scales the turnbuckles and continues to hype up the crowd before dropping down and stretching while waiting for the match to begin.

“Get Fresh With You” by Teddybears feat. Laza Morgan begins to play as The Gold Star Connection explode through the entrance. Layla is whipping around in circles to make the tassels on her legs and arms swing wildly, while Lukas displays her with pride.

Melanie Sierra: And his partners, making their way to the ring at a total combined weight of 310 pounds! They are the current 3GW Tag Team Champions… the GOLD STAR CONNECTION!

They continues this down the ramp, bouncing along and occasionally slapping a hand or two until they reach the steps, bouncing up them and then posing on the apron, arms extended straight out to the sides, feet wide to form a ‘star’ shape, then Layla climbing on the top rope and repeating the pose before leaping down into the ring and twirling around. Lukas leaps over the top rope and heads up the turnbuckle, posing for the fans with his arms raised high again, before finally backflipping off the turnbuckle and landing on his feet as the music fades.

Geoff Penzer: Lukas Gold and Layla Star are used to teaming with each other. What they’re not used to is teaming with a man that could very well be challenging them for their Tag Titles at Showdown in the Sun. Will they leave El Grandé Malo out to dry against this trio? Or can they all work as one cohesive unit for one night only to pick up the win?

The match starts with El Grandé Malo deciding to start things off for this team. As soon as the Gold Star Connection leave the ring, the crowd erupts with boos as Kaiser, Ramsey and Dover all run over to EGM and triple team him.

Geoff Penzer: Malo’s just been jumped!

When Gold and Star get back in the ring, Kaiser, Ramsey and Dover all retreat to the outside. As the Connection attend to their partner for the night, the trio slides back in and jump from them from.

Geoff Penzer: And now the Tag Champs have succumbed to the numbers game!

While Ramsey puts the boots to EGM, Kaiser takes Gold, marches into the corner and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. Meanwhile, Dover delivers a double leg pickup to Star, runs into the corner and rams her back-first into the turnbuckles. Ramsey then takes EGM and drags him into a corner before putting the boots to him.

Geoff Penzer: I didn’t think Kaiser, Dover and Ramsey would be able to work together as a team. But they’re all on the same page in the early going of this Six Man Tag Team Match!

The trip look back at each other. After giving each other a nod, they go to irish whip the Gold Star Connection and EGM into the center of the ring. But their opponents reverse, causing Kaiser, Ramsey and Dover to crash in the center of the ring. While Kaiser, Ramsey and Dover stumble back, the crowd cheers when The Gold Star Connection deliver a pair of dropkicks to Kaiser and Dover while EGM knocks down Ramsey with a leaping calf kick. Ramsey gets back up. But she’s quickly met by another leaping calf kick. After Ramsey picks herself back up, EGM send her rolling to the outside after an overflow arm drag.

Back across the ring, the Gold Star Connection take Kaiser & Dover and whip them into the ropes. When Dover & Kaiser come back, the Gold Star Connection dump them over the top rope and to the floor.

Geoff Penzer: The Gold Star Connection and El Grandé Malo have just cleared the ring!

The Connection high five each other before running into the far ropes. When they come back, the crowd explodes with cheers when Gold leaps through the ropes and connects with a topé suicida to Kaiser while Star knocks Dover down with a corkscrew plancha.

Geoff Penzer: The Tag Champs just took it to the air and took out both The Crown Jewel and the Bulldover! Unbelievable!

Back in the ring, EGM runs into the far ropes. When he comes back, he hurls himself over the top rope for a leaping somersault plancha. But Ramsey moves out of the way, causing EGM to land back-first on the floor.

Geoff Penzer: Oh no!

Ramsey picks up EGM and quickly rolls him back inside. She then slides back in before making the cover.

She then follows up with a series of knee strikes to the lower back before bringing him out of the corner. An irish whip sends EGM into the ropes. When he returns, Ramsey sets up for a back body drop. But EGM stops and counters with a Cradle DDT. He makes the cover.

When Gold lands on his feet and turns around, Ramsey runs over and throws out an elbow strike. But Gold ducks and runs into the ropes. When Gold returns, the crowd cheers as he delivers a headscissors takeover with extra rotations. As Ramsey gets back to her feet, Gold runs over and brings her down with a running hurricanrana. He makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Another nearfall for Lukas Gold. He and his partner haven’t seen much ring time as of late. But the two of them, especially Gold, appear to be in rare from.

Gold picks up Ramsey and blasts her with a knife edge chop before whipping her into the ropes. When Ramsey returns, Gold sets up for a back body drop. Ramsey sees it coming, so she counters with a sunset flip. But Gold rolls through it. He then returns to his feet and throws out a dropkick. But Ramsey rolls out of the way. After both wrestlers return to their feet, Ramsey throws out a palm strike. But Gold ducks and counters with a legsweep. He makes the cover.

Gold picks up Ramsey and executes an arm wrench. But he’s quickly met with a rake to the eyes from Ramsey, which is met with boos from the crowd. After placing Gold in a side headlock, Ramsey heads back into her corner and allows for Dover to tag her on the shoulder.

The crowd boos as the Bulldover gets in and nails Gold with a kick to the ribs. Once Ramsey lets go and makes her way back to the outside, Dover shoves him into the corner and drives a series of shoulders into his stomach. She then takes Gold and whips him hard into the opposite corner. The Bulldover then charges across the ring, but Gold knocks her back with a boot to the face. While Dover is dazed, Gold goes to walk towards his corner to tag out. But Dover lunges over and grabs him by the back of the tights. She then yanks Gold over towards him, grabs him from behind and motions for a German Suplex. But Gold elbows her in the face on the way up. He follows up with a pelé kick. While Dover is dazed, Gold runs into the ropes, where Star makes the blind tag. When Gold comes back, he slides through Dover’s legs. When Dover turns around to face Gold, the crowd cheers when Star comes from behind and drives her down with a springboard bulldog. She makes the cover.

Kaiser then jumps up and brings Star down with a double knee armbreaker. She makes the cover.

As Dover stands upright, Star turns and runs back into the ropes. When Star returns, the crowd boos when Dover brings her down with a leg lariat. She makes the cover.

Dover heads over and tags Ramsey back in. Once Ramsey gets in, she delivers repeated stomps to the hurt arm. She then yanks Star up by the wrist and throws out a short-arm clothesline of her own. But Star ducks. When Dover turns around, the crowd cheers when Star kicks her in the midsection, lifts her up with her good arm and drops her on her head with an implant DDT.

Geoff Penzer: Star with the desperation DDT! But can she make the tag!?

While both wrestlers are down, the ref starts his count.

Gold can be seen slapping the top turnbuckle while in the opposite corner, Dover can be seen yelling at Ramsey to get up.

Star can be seen crawling over towards her corner. But Ramsey reaches over and latches onto her ankle. Star responds by using her free leg to repeatedly kick Ramsey in the face. Once Star is free, she gets back to her, staggers over and makes the tag to EGM.

Geoff Penzer: The Pride of Mexico, Maine is back in!

Once Ramsey gets back to her feet, EGM springboards onto the top turnbuckle and knocks her down with a flying crossbody block.

Ramsey kicks out.

EGM picks up Ramsey and goes for an irish whip. But Ramsey reverses, sending EGM into the ropes. When EGM returns, Ramsey sets up for a back body drop. But EGM counters with a jumping faceplant. The crowd cheers as makes the cover.

Kaiser goes to break up the pin with an elbow drop. But EGM rolls out of the way, causing Ramsey to get hit with the elbow. When Kaiser gets back up, she gets caught by a surprise superkick from EGM. The luchador then turns around and makes the cover on Ramsey.

Dover dives over and breaks up the pin.

Dover returns to her feet and puts the boots to EGM. Just then, Gold comes in to the aid of his partner for the night. He turns Dover around and nails her with a series of right hands to the face. He then goes for an irish whip. But Dover reverses, sending Gold into the ropes. When Gold returns, the crowd boos when Dover flattens him with a running bicycle kick.

Geoff Penzer: The Bulldover nearly took his head off!

When Dover turns around, Star springboards onto the top turnbuckle, flips off and knocks Dover down with a moonsault.

Geoff Penzer: The high risk pays off for the “Interstellar” Star!

When Star gets back to her feet, the crowd erupts with bos when Kaiser jumps onto her shoulders from behind, flips back and plants her with the Saxon Sapphire (standing reverse frankensteiner).

Geoff Penzer: Avaset Kaiser just spiked Layla Star with the Saxon Sapphire!

After Kaiser returns to her feet and steps back, EGM turns her around and brings her down with a reverse STO before transitioning into a koji clutch.

Geoff Penzer: Koji Clutch! Koji Clutch! El Grandé Malo’s got the submission locked in!

The crowd cheers while Kaiser can be heard groaning in pain. The ref asks her if she wants to give up. But The Crown Jewel refuses. While the hold is applied, Ramsey climbs up to the top turnbuckle, flips back and crashes on top of EGM with Down by the Jae (moonsault). The crowd boos as she makes the cover.

The crowd continues to boo as Ramsey rolls to the outside and gets her arm raised.

Geoff Penzer: Jaelynn Ramsey picks up another victory as she rolls into Showdown in the Sun with even more momentum! It looked like the team of the Gold Star Connection and El Grandé Malo were going to pull this off. But all hell broke loose in the end when everyone came into the ring. But Ramsey was able to emerge from the madness with her arm raised and a W for her team...

SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH

The Church of Cyn vs. Terrence Tillman, Maritza Diaz, Shintaro Majima

Melanie Sierra: The following contest is our MAAAIN EVENT and it is a six-person tag team showcase scheduled for one fall!

“Forever” hits and out comes Terrific Terry Tillman sporting a windbreaker jacket and shades. Tillman stops at the top of the ramp way and looks out over the fans before shaking his head in disgust. He walks down to the ring but stops half way there. He looks at the fans booing him, smiles and begins to hop up and down shaking his arms and hands loose as the camera pans in on the championship around his waist.

Melanie Sierra: Introducing first, from Orlando, Florida, weighing in at two hundred and thirty pounds, he is the 3GW 15 Champion, the “Terrific” Terrance Tilllllman!

Suddenly Triple T sprints the rest of the way to the ring sliding under the bottom rope. Triple T jumps up on the nearest corner and again looks out over the crowd before pointing at them. HE then points to himself with one hand, lowering it to his 3GW 15 Championship with a smirk, pointing to the ring with the other hand shouting "Greatness has arrived!" Soaking in the jeers form the fans Triple T raises his fist in the air with an arrogant smile.

Melanie Sierra: And his partner…

“Fireball” by Willow ft Nicki Minaj fills the arena as Maritz Diaz slowly walks out to the stage in a long black and red silk robe, and a traditional Mongkon head piece. For a moment she simply smiles and looks out at the fans before uniting the belt on her robe and removing it completely. She does a double bicep pose before heading down to the ring.

Melanie Sierra: Hailing from Miami, Florida, weighing in at a hundred and seventy-five pounds, Maritzzzaa Diiiaaazzz!

As she walks she high fives fans as she passes before running and sliding under the bottom rope. Once in the ring she stands in the center rattling off a series of punches, elbow strikes, knees, and kicks in rapid succession before bowing and removing her Mongkon and Pra Jiad arm bands.

Geoff Penzer: Tillman made it pretty clear earlier this week that these three weren’t in this to be friends, but merely to coexist and take down a common foe. I know that Dooder3G would’t appreciate his comrades, but you can guarantee he wishes he was in this six-man tag team main event.

As the opening of "There's A Storm Coming" filters through the PA system a combination of gold and reddish-orange lights flicker in the entranceway in sync with the keyboards - until the intro is interrupted by a combination of brooding synths and haunting, almost ethereal vocals that greet Shintaro Majima as he walks through the curtain into the arena, and without a second's hesitation he begins to walk down the ramp towards the ring.

Melanie Sierra: And their partner, from Gifu, Japan, weighing in at two hundred and forty-two pounds, he is the “Strong Style Savior” Shinnntaro Maaajiiiiimaaaa!

Once he reaches ringside Majima climbs the ring steps and steps into the ring, loosening his robe and removing his sunglasses before he walks towards the corner he has decided is his, at which point he removes his robe and places it and his sunglasses in the corner as he wipes the back of each hand in the palm of the other in preparation, glancing at his tag team partners who stand just feet away outside the ring.

Geoff Penzer: And now the crowd, and the three competitor at ringside, all wait for the arrival of the Church of Cyn!

As Majima’s music fades and the audience begins to die down… the building is overcome with boos in anticipation of the opposition.

Geoff Penzer: And just the thought of Cyncity has a lot of people here riled up. She hasn’t made too many friends during her stay here in Hollywood. But we’re awaiting the arrival of the Paramount Champion and her… tag team here in Center Stage Arena in our main--

The beginning of "Gangstas Paradise" by Coolio fills the arena speakers, the crowd coming alive with different sounds and reactions. The lights in the arena dim down just enough for different parts of the building to fill up in various colors forming a rainbow all around the arena.

"There are no heroes left..."

Cyncity's voice echoes over her theme song, the tron showing visuals of her retirement night. The first clips features an emotional Cyncity hugging fans outside the arena, but then quickly transitions to the same fans cheering the likes of Zero McHannon, Johnny Karma, and many others who Cyn battled against.

"Because of you..."

Cyn's voice is heard once more, the visual turning into her bright blue eyes, a tear sliding down her cheek. Her eyes close, and the rainbow filling the arena turns black.

"You won't forget about me this time."

Right after her final words, a spotlight hits the top of the entrance ramp to illuminate Cyncity, her hair drenched in water and her eyes fixed on the ring. She pays no mind to the screaming fans, methodically stepping toward the ring as her theme song hits its chorus.

MASCOT STITCH: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CHEER FOR THIS WOMAN ANYMORE!

She makes it to ringside, scans the crowd, and scoffs at their existence. She places her knee on the apron and uses the ropes to pull herself up while Mascot Stitch follows down the ramp.

MASCOT STITCH: With that said, LET IT BE KNOWN THAT YOU ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF GREATNESS! LET IT BE KNOWN THAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO WITNESS THE B.I.T.W. BEAST IN THE WIIIIIIIIIIIILD!

The referee knowingly moves to the ropes-- but is halted by a young man that has somehow already entered the ring with a large, plastic smile plastered on his face. He calmly nods his head to the right and the referee raises his hands, walking back to the far side of the ring while the young man, Noses F. Ginger holds the ropes for Cyncity.

MASCOT STITCH: FROM KILLA-DELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA. SHE IS NO DVD TAPINGS OFF. THE THREEPEAT KILLER. MISS WHAM-BAM-THANK YOU-MAM! CYNNNNNNNCIIIIIIIIITYYYYYYYYYYY!

Finally entering the ring, she moves toward the corner of the hard cam, climbs up to the middle ropes, and slowly raises her arms in the air to fill the arena with light. She throws up two C's with her hand, then hops back into ring, pulling the Paramount Championship off of her waist and raising it high into the air.

MASCOT STITCH: AND HER TAG TEAM PARTNERS! NOSES F. GINGER AND ME! THE CHURCH OF CYN! TAKE THIS MIC BA...!

The last word is cut off as Mascot Stitch throws the microphone toward Melanie Sierra. It misses her by centimeters, crashing to the ground outside in front of the announce table. The referee warns the Church of Cyn but he’s dismissed. Cyncity hands her belt to Melanie Sierra, demanding that she be careful with it as she exits the ring. She stands on one side of the ring as her team exits to the outside while Shintaro Majima remains on the corner on the other side with Tillman and the “Power Princess” reaching the apron in his corner.

Geoff Penzer: Wow-- it looks like Cyncity is gonna start things off for the Church!

The bell rings! The audience roars and Shintaro moves forward… but Cyncity quickly turns and tags in Mascot Stitch to a round of boos from the crowd! Stitch enters the ring, beckoning Shintaro forward.

MASCOT STITCH: SHE HAS NOTHING TO PROVE!

The audience boos loudly and Shintaro nods with a sarcastic half-smile… before striding forward and blasting Mascot Stitch with a roundhouse kick to a roar from the audience! Stitch reels and Shintaro grabs the arm, pulling Stitch into repeated short-arm clotheslines-- before finally pulling the Mascot forward, delivering a Uranage!

Geoff Penzer: Akuma-fu and the Uranage by Shintaro Majima! This could be over quicker than any of us thought!

Shintaro leans forward, gripping the top rope while the audience grows loud. Mascot Stitch slowly rises upright… but turns and dives into the corner, tagging in Noses F. Ginger as Shintaro rushes forward for the Lariat! Shintaro glares at the exiting Mascot Stitch-- but Ginger dives into the ring between the top and middle ropes, catching Shintaro with a Schoolboy, grabbing a handful of tights unbeknownst to the ref!

The audience gasps as Shintaro barely kicks out, rolling over to his knees and then up to his feet! Ginger rushes forward and nails a headbutt with a SMACK! echoing throughout the arena to a groan from the audience! Ginger staggers back into his corner where Mascot Stitch tags in again. Shintaro clutches his face, crawling to his corner. Terrence Tillman glares down at him-- prompting Maritza to reach over the ropes, tagging Shintaro’s hand! She steps into the ring, rushing into the oncoming Mascot Stitch, taking her opponent down with a Flying Forearm to the delight of the crowd!

Geoff Penzer: And here comes Maritza Diaz with a stiff shot to the Mascot! Newcomer Noses F. Ginger might’ve just effectively taken himself and Majima out of commission with that headbut though!

Mascot Stitch groggily rises upright into a European Uppercut from Diaz, followed by a second, third, and fourth! Mascot Stitch falls to a knee and the “Power Princess” nails a roundhouse knee strike! She follows up with a Hangman’s Neckbreaker to her rising opponent and a pinfall!

Geoff Penzer: And a kickout by Mascot Stitch, but Diaz is keeping her corner rolling here!

Powering Stitch into the corner, Diaz allows Tillman to tag in on her shoulder. She turns Mascot Stitch around as she exits the ring, allowing Tillman to leap over the ropes and hit a Tornado DDT! Tillman goes for the pin but Stitch has a foot under the rope! Tillman tries to pull the Mascot up but catches a closed fist to the jaw! The referee gets in the Mascot’s face for a warning-- allowing Stitch to reach over the ref’s shoulder and rake the eyes of Tillman! Stitch turns, diving into the corner to tag in Cyncity to a chorus of boos!

Geoff Penzer: Tillman has no idea what’s coming here-- excellent game plan by the Church of Cyn!

Cyncity ascends to the top rope, smiling in spite of the now-deafening boos from Center Stage. She observes Tillman, who clutches at his eyes-- before hitting a Rope Walk Meteora, driving both knees into the heart of Tillman! She goes for the cover!

She shoots the ref an annoyed look as Tillman shoots a shoulder off the canvas. Cyncity rises up and delivers quick, sharp stomps to the body of the 3GW 15 Champion before performing a Standing Moonsault out of nowhere to a mixed reaction from the crowd! Grinding an elbow across Tillman’s face, she pins him again!

Geoff Penzer: And the 15 Champion doesn’t seem like he’s too eager to take the ‘L’ here to the Paramount Champ! Cyncity looks a little frustrated but she’s sticking in there with Tillman.

Cyncity rubs a hand over her eyes, shaking her head before rising upright and shooting the ropes, hitting a punt to Tillman’s back! She forces him up in a front facelock but Tillman shoves her off and nails a Discus Elbow Smash out of nowhere, before pulling her down into a hard knee lift! Cyncity’s eyes roll into the back of her head and she falls against the ropes-- where Noses F. Ginger blind tags himself-- and Cyncity rebounds into a Savate Kick from Tillman!

Geoff Penzer: Chin Checka by Terrence Tillman but I don’t think he realizes that Ginger is the legal man!

Tillman tries to lock Cyncity in the Cobra Clutch, but Ginger performs a Superkick to the temple of the 3GW 15 Champion! Ginger loses his balance, hitting the canvas, while Tillman inadvertently falls into his corner! Maritza leans down to tag in-- but Shintaro tags in instead! As he steps into the ring, he steps on Tillman’s hand, before rushing forward to nail Noses F. Ginger with a hard Running Enzuigiri!

Geoff Penzer: The newbie’s been leveled by the Strong-Style Savior! I don’t know if the folks in the arena caught it, or if it was an accident, but Shintaro just stomped right down on Tillman’s hand getting into the ring here!

Shintaro hammers away at Ginger in a neutral corner with stiff forearms. He Irish whips him-- but he’s reversed and sent stomach-first into the corner. Shintaro staggers backward and Ginger nails a Russian Leg Sweep! He hooks the leg!

Kickout!

They race to their feet but Ginger nails a Dropkick and tags in Mascot Stitch! Shintaro pulls himself up-- and is nailed with a Springboard Diving Hurricanrana from Stitch! The move sends Shintaro across the ring. He rolls to his corner, tagging in Maritza Diaz to a loud pop! Stitch rushes the corner, but Maritza steps through the ropes, using the bottom as a springboard to nail a Bicycle Knee Strike to the oncoming Mascot!

Geoff Penzer: Miami Express!

Diaz is prepared to go for the cover-- but stops, watching as Noses F. Ginger rushes toward him for a Lariat. Diaz sidesteps him, sending him over the ropes with a handful of hair! Ginger hits the apron and then the floor outside the ring. Diaz turns, making her way toward Mascot Stitch again… but she’s caught with an Inside Cradle to a deafening chorus of boos! The ref makes the count!

Geoff Penzer: Diaz kicks out again!

Cyncity shakes her head from the apron. Mascot Stitch appears to take a knee and have a prayer before forcing Diaz up again-- but Stitch is met with a hard European Uppercut and a double-leg takedown into a ground and pound! Covering up is no avail, and finally Diaz stands up, turning to tag in Terrence Tillman! Tillman enters the ring-- and seems to purposely throw a back elbow into the side of Shintaro’s head as he charges out of his corner and toward Mascot Stitch!

Geoff Penzer: What was that?!

...but Tillman runs right into a Frankensteiner that sends him into the opposition’s corner! With a sigh, Cyncity barely holds out her hand and Mascot Stitch obliges, making the tag. The 3GW stands upright and Cyncity rushes forward for a Single Knee Facebreaker! Tillman catches her though and goes for a standing Back Body Drop… but Cyncity catches him with a Sunset Flip Bomb! She hooks Tillman’s legs for the package pin cover!

THHHH-- kickout!

Both champions rise to their feet, but with a cry of frustration, Cyncity nails the Single Knee Facebreaker she was searching for earlier! She crawls for another pin but is restrained as the impact knocks Tillman under the ropes!

Geoff Penzer: Cyncity got a little overzealous with the pin attempt and here comes Shintaro, maybe to get a closer look at his partner--

The ref backs Cyncity off… and Shintaro steps on Tillman’s hand again, sliding off of the apron to slice his boot across the hand of his partner! Tillman slams his hand on the apron, yelling out in frustration. He grabs at Shintaro who smirks and casually walks back to the apron-- but Tillman is grabbed off the ropes and planted with a Reverse DDT from Cyncity! Groaning, he staggers upright into a spin kick to the gut and a dropkick! Tillman falls to a knee, audibly gasping for air. Grinning, Cyncity shoots the ropes and rebounds for a Reverse STO-- but Tillman plants his feet, throwing Cyncity back! He rushes forward and nails his own Leaping Reverse STO to a roar from the audience!

Geoff Penzer: Pride Before the Fall! This crowd is on their feet and both champions are down!

On one side, “The Power Princess” anxiously awaits the tag while Shintaro Majima leans on the ropes, offering no such support. On the other side, the Church of Cyn rallies behind its leader. Crawling… crawling… Cyncity dives, making the tag to Noses F. Ginger! Similarly, Tillman reaches his knees in the corner, earning an eyeroll from Shintaro. With a glare, he tags in Maritza!

Geoff Penzer: Here comes Ginger! Here comes Diaz!

The two enter the ring, rushing into each other, each with a series of forearms!

Geoff Penzer: Holy-- look here at ringside!

Terrence Tillman slides out of the ring and yanks Shintaro Majima from the apron, throwing him roughly into the announce table! The audience roars as Tillman Clotheslines Majima over the barricade! Majima catches Tillman with a hard roundhouse kick to the face as he follows him over, and the two begin brawling into the crowd! Cyncity grins as she watches the opposition. Mascot Stitch laughs-- an over the top laugh-- pointing, standing next to Cyncity.

MASCOT STITCH: THEY COULDN’T HANDLE THE PRESENCE OF REAL GREATNESS!

Shintaro and Tillman roll back over the barricade, toward ringside, still brawling with one another as the audience goes into a frenzy! Meanwhile inside the ring, Ginger grounds Diaz with a Suplex.

Geoff Penzer: They should turn back to the ring!

Noses shoots the ropes, but rebounds right into a European Uppercut which turns him around into an Inverted Powerslam! He groans and rolls onto his back-- locked into the Figure 4 Neck Lock! Maritza bridges, adding torque to the move and causing Noses F. Ginger t immediately tap out!

Geoff Penzer: There it is!

The bell rings and the audience roars as Maritza Diaz returns to her feet!

Melanie Sierra: Here are your winners, the team of “The Power Princess” Maritza Diaz, Shintaro M--

She pauses as suddenly, Diaz is taken to the ground with a Clothesline to the back of the skull courtesy of Mascot Stitch! Stitch shoots the ropes and rebounds, leaping over the top with a Tope Con Hilo to the rising Shintaro and Tillman, knocking them both to the ground!

Geoff Penzer: And it may not have cost them the win tonight, but the breakdown cost Tillman and Majima here! They really laid into each other!

Cyncity and Mascot Stitch celebrate in the ring while urging Ginger to push himself up to his feet. He reaches his hands and knees… and the audience roars as, in one fluid motion, Diaz springs to her feet and sprints across the ring, using his back as a step to nail a leaping Bicycle Knee Strike to the face of Mascot Stitch!

Geoff Penzer: MIAMI EXPRESS TO STITCH!

Stitch flips in the ring, landing stomach-first on the canvas! Diaz rushes Cyncity… but the Paramount Champion rolls out of the ring, title in hand. She raises is above her head, back completely turned to the ring without another glance as she marches to the back to a chorus of boos.

Geoff Penzer: And the Paramount Champion escapes! I just know that somewhere, Dooder3G was watching this match, maybe as well as everyone else Cyncity has wronged since emerging here in Hollywood. Regardless, the Church of Cyn has fallen tonight to a dysfunctional, but determined team! Heading into Showdown in the Sun, where do we stand?! Look at this carnage!

Bodies are strewn about the ring, with Maritza Diaz the only one standing, celebrating with the crowd as Cyncity shakes her head, back still turned at the top of the ramp. She disappears to the back.
