Macy Dover walks in front of a camera pointed at the wall in her living room once again. She walks back and forth in camera view, very visibly annoyed. She cracks her knuckles as she walks before turning to the camera to speak.
Macy Dover: I have been booked in a clusterfuck match for Showdown in the Sun. So it only makes sense that I would be booked in a clusterfuck match for Challenge right? What better way to warm up for the monstrosity I’ll be faced with at the supercard than to overcome the odds of this monstrosity I’ve been placed in this week. A true testament to Macy Dover’s fighting spirit, when she can pull victory out of the certain jaws of defeat in this calamity of a match.
Macy stops in the middle of the ring bringing her hand up and grabbing at the bridge of her nose for a second before she continues to speak.
Macy Dover: First of all, I’m placed with two women I have no previous dealings with as my “partners”. Then we’re thrown in with a legitimate tag team and another man that’s one half of a tag team. I’m placed with Avaset Kaiser… who I’m pretty sure doesn’t care to acknowledge there may be other women on the roster with her talent or more… and Jae Ramsey. At least I feel a connection to Jae since we’re the only two girls in a California based company actually from California.
Macy puts up one hand holding three fingers up next to each other. She puts the other hand up with her thumb and pointer finger up… the puts up her pinky finger also.
Macy Dover: If it comes down to me and Jae working together to win this match. So be it. Avaset, you want to get with the program for just one fucking night…
Macy puts her pinky down and instead moves her middle finger up showing all her fingers on that hand now standing next to each other.
Macy Dover: We sure would appreciate it. Because like I said, this is Lucas Gold, Layla Star, and Grande Malo’s world that we’re stepping into. It almost seems like a setup doesn’t it. As if someone thinks that just because those kids are tag team wrestlers and none of us three are they’ll be put on display in this match.
Macy puts all her fingers down smashing her two fists together in front of herself as her biceps flex.
Macy Dover: Well I’ll tell you what’s /going/ to happen. With Avaset and Jae’s help of not. I’m going to stand in that ring and kick and knee anything that dares to step in that ring with me. And if I have to do it all myself I will. Nothing quite like taking the tagging aspect out of a tag match to even the playing field. Divide and conquer they say.
Macy puts her hand on her chin thinking for a second.
Macy Dover: Perhaps I was wrong after all. This will be a good warm up for Showdown in the Sun. Because at least in a four-way match, I know what to expect. Me, Gabi, Susan, and Ashley will be going at each other with everything we have. No unknowns. But this match at Challenge… too much can happen out of my hands to influence how things end.
Macy runs her hand through her long hair, bringing it back up and rubbing at her scalp.
Macy Dover: And that drives me crazy. Avaset… Jae… You don’t have to worry about me. Kicking ass and taking names is my status quo. But I don’t know you the way I’d like to having to reach my hand out to tag you in or get tagged in. But for once, I’m going to assume the best in people and pretend that you two want to win as badly as I do. So let’s do the damn thing… as if we’re the tag team wrestlers in this match.
Macy cracks her knuckles.
Macy Dover: And maybe, just maybe, the fact that our opponent’s team is made up of pieces of two tag teams that are tentatively set to fight at Showdown in the Sun will be their downfall. If that’s the case, then on a united front… we’ll expose their weakness for the win. Don’t let me down ladies… let’s make this a first.
Macy walks up to her camera turning it off.
