“So at this point my head is ringing!”

The New 3GW 15 Champion Triple T is sitting on the ground in the grass. In his lap is the 15 title. He fiddles with a blade of grass as he continues to talk. 

TRIPLE T: I mean I had taken so many shots to the head by Majima, everything felt like slow motion. And then Gaines drops me with a neckbreaker. I kept telling myself “Just get to your feet! You can’t stay down!” I look over at Majima who is slumped over in the corner. He hadn’t moved much in the last couple of minutes and I didn’t think he was going to anytime soon after what he went through. But I didn’t see Becker, and since I was getting to my feet on my own and he wasn’t attacking…I knew he was waiting for me. Knowing that gave me chills. At any moment the lights could go completely out. I glance to the other side of the ring and see Gaines slapping his knee and running towards me!


It was like everything that lead me to this point flashed before my eyes the wins the losses…the fans cheering…the fans booing…And I could almost hear Maurice screaming at me to “Wake up and hit that bitch!” like he use to do when he managed me. And I don’t know if it was instinct or divine intervention, or just dumb luck, but I caught him with Pride before the Fall and suddenly everything was clear again. I climb the ropes…Skyfall…and I’m now the 3GW 15 champion. It was crazy! The fans were jumping up and down, just like we use to do when you took me to those matches at the armory. In my mind I was jumping right along with them…in reality I could barely stand.

T chuckles to himself before his smile disappears. 

TRIPLE T: Anyway after all of that I had to make a special trip out to see you and tell you all about it. Unfortunately I have to get back to the west coast because now that I have this…I have to defend it not to mention the fact that I am weeks away from getting a shot at the Paramount title as well…could you imagine that, me your grandson a dual title holder?


Man I wish you could have seen it. I wish you could have seen all of this. I miss you Grand Dad…Talk to you again soon.

Terry grabs his belt and places his hand on the tombstone of his Grandfather James Terrence Tillman, smiles and walks away.

ON CAMERA 

Triple T is back in L.A. and is finishing up a promotional photo shoot with the 15 Championship. The photographer takes a few more shots before announcing to everyone that he is finished. He shakes T’s hand and leaves as Triple T throws the title over his shoulder and turns to the camera. 

TRIPLE T: Hard work, sacrifice, never giving up…these are words that define my career from day one. I said for the longest time now that I was the best pure athlete on the roster. I focused on being the best I could be. And yes I feel short…a lot…and for some time I was not the greatest person to be around because of it. But I never stopped wanting to be the best. I never stopped working. Fast forward to Challenge. Three way dance. Three men battled, and fought, and clawed through each other. But in the end…there could only be one and you are looking at him.


So now the hunter becomes the hunted. Thursday Night Challenge 3GW 15 Title on the line. Triple T vs Jaelynn Ramsey. Don’t get it twisted the game remains the same. I’m not done yet. I have more things to accomplish. This belt…this just wet my whistle…this just made me hungrier. And Ramsey is going to step into the house that Tillman built and go one on one with excellence.

Jaelynn Ramsey, 3GW since day one. You managed to string together some wins to get this opportunity and that’s great. But you need to understand that I worked long and hard to get this and I’m not giving it up easily or any time soon. So Thursday night come out to that ring expecting a great match, expect the world to see just how good you really are…but do yourself a favor…don’t expect to leave the ring with a win…or this belt.


Oh and Jordan Cain…Welcome back…can’t wait to see you.

Triple T smiles, lightly patting the title before exiting the studio.
