"3 The Hard Way" Episode Code Number: 1x07 Available Where: AxxessNet Start Time: 8pm EST/ 5pm PDT Date: 01.12.17 Location: Center Stage Arena - Los Angeles, CA We open up to a panning shot of Center Stage Arena in Los Angeles, California! The hot LA crowd is once again going wild for Glitz, Glamour and Glory Wrestling. We then transition over to the play-by-play area where the voice of 3GW, Geoff Penzer, is standing by. Geoff Penzer: Hello fans and welcome to another installment of Thursday Night Challenge! I am your host, Geoff Penzer! We are just a little under two months away from our next Double Feature Weekend, Showdown in the Sun! Two weeks ago, Lindsay Harrington announced that Night Two of Showdown in the Sun will feature Dooder3G, Maritza Diaz, Terrence Tillman, Shintaro Majima, Becker Gaines and Paramount Champion Cyncity! That’s right, Cyncity will be defending her championship in a 6-Pack Challenge! As you would expect, that news didn’t sit well with 3GW’s resident deity. Two weeks ago during the conclusion of our main event, Cyncity interfered in unique fashion, which caused Tillman to take advantage of the distraction and defeat the Gang Green General. Will The Dude be seeking payback tonight? Will Cyncity try to get one over on any of her other opponents here tonight? We’ll find out. Speaking of main events, Triple T is back in the main event as he tries to go after the 15 Championship! But he’s not alone. Also challenging Becker Gaines is “The Strong Style Savior” Shintaro Majima! The issues between these three have seemingly gone all the way back to the very first episode of Challenge. But Ms. Harrington is looking to see the issues between these three be settled once and for all tonight in our first-ever Triple Threat Match for the 15 Championship. In addition, has Jaelynn Ramsey finally found someone who can stomach her long enough to want to team with her? How will Emily Carter respond to Mercy Williams’ words from two weeks ago? Will Bueno Club take up the Gold Star Connection’s offer for a rematch? Is there any update on the condition of the Mayor of Hollywood, Jordan Cain? We’ll hope to have all those answers and many more tonight!

The show cuts backstage to where Jaelynn Ramsey looks somewhat anxious; she’s pacing back and forth with a piece of paper in her hand, when Amanda Johnson approaches from down the hall.
Amanda Johnson: Jaelynn! Firstly congratulations on your recent win against Saylor…
That comment just draws a blank stare from Ramsey as she stops pacing.
Amanda Johnson: ...and tonight you’ve got a big match against El Grandé Malo. What are your thoughts on that match, or the challenge issued to you by Peaches on the last show?
Jaelynn Ramsey: I am ready for tonight, and whatever tricks Malo may have up his sleeve. Usually when you spot a cockroach, it only means that there’s more in the vicinity...I’m looking at you Pedro!
She narrows her eyes, looking directly into the camera at the mention of Pedro Gonzales.
Jaelynn Ramsey: As for Peaches, I would love to get my hands on her, and make her look like the roadkill she used to scoop up off the side of the road to cook for dinner.
Amanda Johnson: Have you … have you had any luck finding a partner yet?
Peaches: Nah, no way…
The Southern twang sounds out throughout the hallway as a casually dressed Peaches steps into view. With her Raleigh Rebels t-shirt and jeans, she isn’t dressed to wrestle. She draws a look of contempt from Jaelynn though, to which Peaches responds with a shrug.
Peaches: Ain’t no way Jaelynn found somebody who’s wantin’ to team with her. Ain’t nobody in 3GW dumb enough to wanna team with her, Amanda, and she knows it.
Jaelynn Ramsey: Watch what you say…
Peaches: Whoa, whoa. Hold your horses, Jae, I’ve come in peace tonight. See, I know you’re struggling so I’m here to help.
Jaelynn Ramsey: You want to help?
She sounds surprised, maybe even skeptical, as Peaches nods her head in an exaggerated manner. The shit-eating grin may be a give away that she isn’t being sincere, but Jaelynn doesn’t notice.
Peaches: Absolutely. See, back when I wrestled up in Portland there was a young wrestler who just tore through the competition, you know. Went basically unbeaten while he was there…
Amanda and Jaelynn share a look of confusion as Peaches whistles with two fingers in her mouth.
Peaches: Jaelynn, meet your new tag team partner...REVENTON!
Peaches gestures with both hands as a midget dressed in a bull costume comes running around the corner. Reventon snorts and throws his head from side to side as he runs, eventually stopping by Peaches’ side; he beats his chest with both hands as Peaches pats him on top of the head.
Jaelynn Ramsey: Is this some kind of joke?
Peaches: No…
Reventon lets out some sort of weird roar as he beats his chest once again.
Peaches: She didn’t mean it, Reventon. She just don’t understand you like I do, she ain’t seen what you can do.
Jaelynn Ramsey: I don’t need your help, Peaches. I can find my own tag team partner, and they’ll be better than...this.
She gestures towards Reventon, who tries to give the horns - only to be held back by Peaches.
Peaches: Whatever you say, Jae...
Jaelynn Ramsey: I will. Give me two more weeks, and I’ll find someone. Tell you what, give me two weeks and I’ll not only find a new tag team partner, but you can face them one on one, how’s that?
Peaches: You for real?
Jaelynn Ramsey: You aren’t scared, are you?
Peaches: I ain’t scared of anybody who’d team with you, no. Fine, though. Next Thursday Night Challenge I’ll face whoever you’ve got. Sorry, Reventon, she don’t want you…
Peaches strokes the top of the little bull’s head as they walk away, leaving Jaelynn standing there with Amanda Johnson. Jaelynn rolls her eyes, annoyed with herself that she even entertained Peaches for more than a nanosecond.
Amanda Johnson: Do you have anyone in mind?
Jaelynn Ramsey: Maybe...
The annoyed expression remains on her face as the scene fades.

Maritza Diaz is seen backstage speaking with staff. As she finishes her conversation she turns to walk away and bumps into a ginger-headed fan sitting comfortably in a wheelchair.
Maritza Diaz: Oh I’m so sorry sir!
Starstruck, the fan bites down his lip and holds a hand up.
Fan: It’s o-o-kay. I’m ju--just so happy I found you!
The fan is holding a “I love the Power Princess” sign, even wearing a Maritza shirt he made on his own.
Fan: Do you think I could have an autograph…maybe a picture?
Maritza blushes, showing teeth for a big smile.
Maritza: OMG papi! Of course!!
Maritza takes the sign and a pen and scribbles her signature on it. She then leans and wraps her arm around the young fan as he takes out his phone to take the pic.
Cyncity: NON-BELIEVERS!
Suddenly, Cyncity attacks Maritza from behind! After a couple of shots to the back of the head, the Paramount champion sends the Power Princess head first into a storage container. As Maritza struggles to get to her feet, Cyn glares over at the fan, a look of sheer fear on his face.
Cyncity: You dare BETRAY me and align yourself with that?!
Obviously speaking of fans in general, Cyn steps forward, grabs a hold of the wheelchair, and takes off down the hall with the screaming fan! Maritza gets up to her feet and chases after Cyncity as TNC cuts back to ringside.

★★★ Opening Contest - Singles ★★★ Avaset Kaiser vs. Susan Kent The match starts with the two preparing to square off. That is, until the familiar tune of “Replay (Remix)” by Electric Youth hits the speakers. Out walks Jenny Knite to cheers from the crowd. As Knite makes her way towards the ring, she’s met with a warm welcome from everyone in Center Stage Arena except for one person: Avaset Kaiser. “The Killer Queen” shoots daggers at Knite as Knite makes her way over to join Geoff Penzer at the commentary table. While Kaiser continues to stare a hole through Knite, Kent wisely takes advantage of the distraction and rolls up Kaiser with a schoolgirl for two. After both wrestlers return to their feet, Kent rolls up Kaiser with a small package for two. After returning to their feet again, Kaiser finally grabs a hold of Kent and whips her into the ropes. Upon her return, Kent brings Kaiser down with a pinning hurricanrana for two. At the three minute mark, Kaiser finally regains control with a kick to the midsection. She then brings Kent into the corner and delivers a bully choke. Kaiser continues her offense by bringing Kent from out of the corner and sending her into the ropes. When Kent returns, Kaiser knocks her down with a series of kicks. First, a dropsault. Then a calf kick. Then finally, a spinning heel kick. The pin attempt gets a two count. At the five minute mark, Kaiser continues to stay in control of the match. Her offense is momentarily cut off by Kent, who nails her with four elbows to the midsection. While “The Killer Queen” is doubled over, Kent takes off into the far ropes. But upon her return, Kaiser flattens her with a Falcon Kick (yakuza kick). She then points over towards Knite as she makes the cover. But again, she only gets two. At seven minutes in, Kaiser begins going after Kent’s right arm. After throwing Kent down with a hammerlock scoop slam, Kaiser begins to deliver double stomps to the arm. Her assault on the arm continues. This time, she knees Kent’s hammerlocked arm before applying a hammerlock bridge. As the match continues, Kent begins to fight back. She makes Kaiser pay for paying attention to Knite by rocking her with hard left hooks. But Kent’s offense is cut short with a knee to the midsection. While Kent is doubled over, Kaiser takes off into the ropes. When she returns, Kent knocks her down with a spinning heel kick of her own for a two count. Kent continues to mount a comeback, knocking Kaiser back into the corner with European Uppercuts. She then brings Kaiser from out of the corner with a running bulldog. After scaling to the top turnbuckle, Kent leaps off and knocks Kaiser down with a missile dropkick for two and a half. Eleven minutes in, Kent plants Kaiser with a Tornado DDT. As a hunched over Kaiser tries to pick herself up off the canvas, Kent heads over and brings her down with a running corkscrew neckbreaker for two and a half. An irish whip reversal sends Kent into the ropes. When Kent returns, Kaiser sets up for a back body drop. But Kent counters with a sitout facebuster. As Kaiser turns over onto her back, Kent runs over to the ropes and goes for a Lionsault. But she slips on the ropes, causing her to fall and smack the back of her head. The ref heads over to attend to Kent. But Kaiser nudges him out of the way before delivering a jumping double knee armbreaker to the right arm. Kaiser then quickly transitions into the Waldschlösschen Bridge (bridging fujiwara armbar). Kent is quick to tap. After the bell sounds, Kaiser keeps the hold locked on for two or three extra seconds before letting go... Winner: Avaset Kaiser

After the match, Ava slides out of the ring, shouting angrily at Jenny in German. The commentators’ headsets pick up most of the dialogue even from the distance. Jenny sighs and shakes her head.
Jenny Knite: Seriously? I’m just sitting here.
She pulls her headset off as Avaset approaches her.
Avaset Kaiser: I am sick of you always being anywhere I am! If I wrestle a match, you have to be out here! If I have an interview, you interrupt! I'm sick of it!
Jenny goes to respond, but she’s caught off guard with a solid right hand to the face! She’s knocked out of her chair and to the ground to an audible gasp, followed by a chorus of boos from the audience.
Geoff Penzer: And a right hand by Avaset Kaiser! Jenny Knite just got grounded here next to me-- and I don’t know if any of us can be surprised this happened. I might call that one a cheap shot though…
Jenny held a hand over her mouth, pulling them away to look at the blood on her fingertips, still stunned from the shot. Kaiser wastes no time grabbing that same hand and jerking Jenny to her feet, Irish Whipping her into the ring post! Jenny connects shoulder-first into the steel and sinks to her knees, crying out in pain! Avaset turns, picking up the chair that Jenny had been sitting in. The crowd grows louder as Avaset stalks toward Knite. Upon seeing the chair, Jenny rolls into the ring beneath the bottom rope, still clutching her shoulder.
Geoff Penzer: This is going too far. Jenny has been a thorn in Kaiser’s side since her debut in 3GW but this--?
Avaset promptly gives chase, sliding into the ring with the chair. When she gets to her feet, Kaiser raises the chair, looking to put an end to Jenny. Fortunately, Jenny has her wits about her and kicks the chair from Avaset’s grasp.
Geoff Penzer: There you go!
This angers The Killer Queen even more. She rushes toward Knite only to catch a kick from Jenny, backing Avaset off. Ava tries again though only to receive the same result. Jenny gets to her feet, looking to pick up on her momentum as the crowd gets behind her!
Geoff Penzer: Jenny’s fighting back valiantly!
Knite looks to lock Avaset up, but Avaset goes to the eyes, raking them. The crowd responds with a chorus of boos as Avaset traps the arm, and uses arm-control to take Jenny Knite to the ground in a Fujiwara Armbar. She then spins and flips herself into the Waldschlösschen Bridge, her Bridging Fujiwara Armbar! Jenny Knite cries out in sheer agony. The officials begin filtering into the ring, trying to tell Avaset to release the hold, but she just torques back even more while spewing German obscenities at Jenny, who slaps the mat helplessly while the officials shout at Avaset to release the hold. Finally, she does, but on her own time. As Jenny Knite lies on the ground, favoring her arm, the officials check on her as Avaset grabs a microphone with a satisfied smirk on her face.
Avaset Kaiser: I want you to know that I could have easily snapped your arm in half if I wanted to do so. Jenny, you’re just not on the same level as me, and, that’s why, you should remember this beating I gave you and walk away.
Avaset tosses the microphone at Jenny. She blocks it with her hand, but the message is loud and clear as the Golden Kaiser exits the ring and walks toward the entrance tunnel. Jenny writhes in agony being assisted by the officials as we fade away.

★★★ Showcase Match - Singles ★★★ Macy Dover vs. Pedro Gonzales The match starts with Dover quickly tackling the lippy Gonzales down to the canvas. The Bulldover mounts herself on top of Gonzales and begins hammering away with rights and lefts. Gonzales does a decent job of covering up. But some of the punches still connect. Over time, Dover is able to successfully punch through Gonzales’ defense as more and more of the punches connect. At two minutes in, Gonzales is dragged into the corner before being slammed face-first into the top turnbuckle. Dover turns him around, unleashes a series of corner clotheslines, knee strikes, elbow strikes and shoulder thrusts of The New Pride of Mexico. Dover then uses her power to launch Gonzales out of the corner and towards the center of the ring. Gonzales body stays in the air for a bit before flipping and crashing back-first on the canvas. Upon landing, Gonzales can be seen arching his back in pain. But Dover isn’t interested in making a pin. She’s interested in sending a message. Around three minutes in, Gonzales is whipped into the corner. The Bulldover then charges her way across the ring before sending him slumping down in the corner with a spinning heel kick. Dover returns to her feet before adding insult to injury with facewashes. She then runs into the far ropes before coming back and delivering a running facewash. As the match continues, Dover continues her offense as she knocks Gonzales down with a hard European Uppercut. Dover peels him of the canvas… and then knocks him back down with another European Uppercut. After Gonzales is yanked back to his feet, Dover goes for a third European Uppercut. But the counter specialist is able to slip out of the way, quickly hook both of her arms and bring her down with a backslide pin for two. After they both return to their feet, Dover brings him down with a leg lariat. Dover takes Gonzales by the wrist and peels him off the mat. She throws out a short-arm clothesline. But Gonzales is able to duck, float over across her back and bring her down with a crucifix for two. After they return to their feet, Dover takes Gonzales and whips him into the ropes. When Gonzales returns, Dover goes for a back body drop. But Gonzales slips down from behind and reverses into a O’Connor Roll into a bridging prawn hold for two. At the seven minute mark, Gonzales continues to stick and move. He’s able to slip away from Dover’s wild strikes wild coming back with knife edge chops. He then sends her into the ropes. When Dover returns, Gonzales knocks her down with a flying cross chop. The Bulldover returns to her feet, but Gonzales sends her back down with another flying cross chop for a two count. Gonzales continues on the offensive with an irish whip into the far ropes. When Dover returns, Gonzales runs backwards before reaching back and pulling down on the top rope, sending Dover falling down to the canvas. While the Bulldover collects herself on the outside, Gonzales runs into the far ropes, comes back and knocks her down with a double rotation tornillo to the outside. He then rolls Dover back inside before climbing back up onto the apron and hitting a senton atomico for two. As the match continues, Gonzales goes for a bicycle knee strike. But Dover catches his leg before throwing him down with a dragon screw legwhip. Gonzales immediately clutches his leg. But Dover yanks him off the canvas before turning him inside out with a short-arm clothesline. The lateral press gets two and a half. Around the 12 minute mark, Dover delivers a battering ram that sends Gonzales down to one knee. The Bulldover then sizes him up before flattening him with a Shining Wizard. The lateral press gets two and a half. She then picks up Gonzales and whips him into the far ropes. When Gonzales returns, Dover turns him inside out with a bicycle kick that gets two and three fourths. While Gonzales is shaking out the cobwebs, Dover yells at the fans as she heads out onto the apron. She then begins to make her way to the top turnbuckle. As soon as Dover gets to the top, Gonzales dives over and yanks down the top rope. After Dover slips down and winds up crotched on the top turnbuckle, Gonzales makes his way out onto the apron. After scaling up onto the top turnbuckle behind Dover, Gonzales punches her across the head, climbs up onto her shoulders and then flips forward, sending Dover crashing down with an avalanche victory roll for the one, two, three. Winner: Pedro Gonzales

Cameras return backstage where a frantic Power Princess rushes up and down the halls in search of Cyncity and the young fan she had kidnapped. Maritza hears the sound of a choir singing, turning her head in that direction. “WE LOVE CYNCIIITYYYY. SHE IS OUR CHAMP-YENNN!” Maritza: Cyn!!!!! Is that you!? If you hurt him I swear... Maritza follows the vocals of the choir and starts to notice a trail of stickers on the floor, each of them containing a drawing of a cross with a cursive C through it. Maritza follows the trail, and it ends at a random door at the very end of the hallway. Maritza: What the heck? The Power Princess pushes through the door and the choir immediately stops. They scatter in different directions as Maritza takes in the sight in front of her. The organ, the paintings of CYNDAGOD on the walls, and the cup of holy water right as you walked through the door… It was thee legitimate Church of Cyn. Maritza: Hello!? Hey!? Are you in here? Fan: I’m back here! Martiza follows the voice to a closet toward the back of the room. She pulls the door open, her jaw touching the floor once she sees the handicapped fan in the closet, his eyes blindfolded. Maritza: OMG! Maritza pushes the fan out of the closet and takes the blindfold off of his face. She moves bends her knees and attempt to comfort the youngster, until… Cyncity: My child… The voice of Cyncity echoes throughout the room, Maritza spinning around in a full circle. Maritza: How dare you involve him!? Come out and face me woman to woman you coward! Ready to fight, Maritza throws her hands up and turns to the front door. Cyncity: … RISE! Unsure of what’s happening, Maritza brings her hands down and lets out a sigh, not realizing that the “handicapped” fan is getting out of his wheelchair! He reaches into his back pocket to pull out a wrench, then takes a step toward Maritza. Fan: You are a non-believer! AND YOU WILL BE WALLOPED! Maritza turns toward the creepy ginger fan, and immediately takes a wrench to the knee! Maritza collapses to the floor as the fan lets go of the wrench, and evil grin on his demented face. Cyncity: Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas!!! Finally coming out of hiding, the Paramount Champion appear behind the young fan and shoves the wheelchair out of the way. Cyncity: Do you seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it now, Maritza?! Do you seeeeeeeeeeeee the power of Cynduism! Cyn pats the youngster on the head and squats down to get near Maritza’s face. Cyncity: I don’t think you understand how far my reach goes, missy. This is not a FRICKIN’ game! Cyn bashes Maritza with an elbow just as she sits up, getting her back to the floor. Cyncity: You don’t EVER interrupt me again, or you will forever be banished into the oblivion! YOU HEAR ME?! THIS IS NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU AND ANYONE ELSE WHO DARES TO BETRAY DA GOD! Cyn nonchalantly slaps Maritza in the side of the head and stands upright. She turns to her “child” and reaches out her hand, taking his before they step away. Cyncity: Good work, my child. Soon you will be blessed with a new head of hair and you will no longer be a creepy ginger! Cyncity and her follower exit the room, the camera focusing on Maritza clutching her knee and grimacing in pain.

★★★ Showcase Match - Singles ★★★ Jaelynn Ramsey vs. El Grandé Malo The match starts with EGM getting the better of Ramsey with a series of arm drags: regular, japanese and overflow. The last of which causes Ramsey to roll to the outside to take a breather. This doesn’t sit well with the crowd, who boo her for taking the cowardly way out. While Ramsey and some of the fans in the front row get into it, EGM takes off into the far ropes. When Ramsey finally brings her attention back to EGM, it’s too late. EGM soars over the top rope and flattens her with a leaping somersault plancha. He then rolls her back inside the ring for a two count. At two minutes in, EGM brings Ramsey into the corner and goes to slam her face-first into the top turnbuckle. But Ramsey gets her foot on the middle turnbuckle, elbows him in the chest and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. After a series of knife edge chops, Ramsey whips him into the opposite corner. After she charges across the ring, EGM ducks her attacks and dumps her over the top rope and to the floor. But not only does Ramsey land safely on her feet, she reaches back inside, yanks EGM down to the canvas and then pulls him into the ring post, causing EGM to howl in agony. While EGM is down, Ramsey gets back inside and takes advantage with several stomps and knees drops. She drags him out of the corner and gets a two count. Around the four and a half minute mark, Ramsey throws out a short-arm clothesline. But EGM ducks under, floats over and plants her with a Cradle DDT for two. EGM then sends Ramsey into the corner with an irish whip. The Pride of Mexico, Maine takes off into the corner and goes for a corner yakuza kick. But Ramsey catches his foot and shoves him down to the canvas. As EGM rolls up from off the canvas, Ramsey knocks him down with a superkick for two. At the six minute mark, Ramsey takes EGM and whips him into the ropes. When EGM returns, Ramsey knocks him down with a crooked arm lariat for two. She then goes for another irish whip. But EGM reverses, sending her into the ropes. But instead of coming back, Ramsey hangs onto the ropes. So EGM runs over to attack. But Ramsey pulls down to the rope, sending EGM down to the floor. Once EGM returns to his feet and turns around, Ramsey knocks him down with the Jaegerbomb (suicide dive). Eight minutes in, EGM gets doubled over with a hard knee strike to the midsection. After bouncing into the ropes, Ramsey knocks him down with a scissors kick. She then heads into the corner and waits for him on the middle ropes. Once EGM finally returns to his feet, Ramsey drives him down with The Savagery (diving bulldog) for the one, two, three. Winner: Jaelynn Ramsey

Challenge quickly focuses in on the tron showing a pre-recorded video. The video takes place in a dark snowy alley showing a woman’s figure walking down the alley. She’s dressed in black skinny jeans with combat boots, along with a Radiohead t shirt covered by an oversized leather jacket. As she slowly walks, the cameras stay focused on her shoes, never once peeking up to her face as a voice is heard.
“Looks are deceiving. No matter what way you look at it, you never fully understand anything about an individual, until they show you what they want you to know. You can never understand a person’s motives entirely until they want you to understand. Me? I want people to understand. I want people to know who I am and exactly what I am capable of. The world hasn’t seen that..yet..” The voice says.
“Forget what you’ve heard about me. Forget what you think you know and forget trying to make assumptions of me. Pretend one giant mind erasing machine was placed over your heads, and took away all opinions and thoughts refreshing them with a clean slate. The beauty of coming into a new environment is there’s new faces...new challenges...and new stories to be written. 3GW? It’s the perfect place to show the world the truth about who I am. It’s not much about the gold or the fame or the fortune...it’s about the respect I deserve. The respect I’m going to get out of each and every single one of you sooner than later like it or not.” The voice says some more.
As the shadow of the woman continues to walk, she walks over to a crate set up against a brick wall, sitting on it revealing herself to be none other than the newest addition to 3GW, Ashley Maldano. Ashley runs her hand through her dark hair, looking at the cameras as she sits indian style on the crates, arching her back as she sits.
“I’ve been warned and I’ve been put on notice and I haven’t even made my way to the building for a show yet. You know what that tells me? It tells me that the decision to sign a contract with 3GW was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’ve been paying attention and I’ve been watching. Pretty soon I’ll trade my front row seat in for a plane ticket out to California to compete in that ring along every roster member there. Soon….everything you knew about anything will be just a distant memory…” She smiles, batting her eyes into the cameras.
“Expect the unexpected…” She says, the scene fading out.

Standing by backstage in the designated interview area is Amanda Johnson.
Amanda Johnson: Ladies and gentlemen, Emily Carter.
Emily Carter steps into the picture to a wave of cheers from the crowd. She gives the camera a big smile and a wave before nodding over at Amanda.
Amanda Johnson: Emily, your former friend Mercy Williams had a lot to say about you last week. Do you care to respond?
Emily smirks. She shakes her head as she thinks back to the little show that Mercy put on last week.
Emily Carter: Oh, I heard. I went back and saw the tape where she came out to my theme music and tried to do my entrance. It was a decent effort. It really was. But I’m sure the fans inside Center Stage Arena and the ones watching at home on AxxessNet will realize one simple fact:
Emily puts her arms out and slowly spins around.
Emily Carter: There’s nothing better than the real thing. No enhancements needed over here.
Emily smiles as she hears the cheers from the crowd.
Emily Carter: I understand that my “good pal” Mercy is quite the expert on fake. But to sit here and call me fake? That’s one heck of a reach. But you know what, Amanda? I’m not going to sit here and do this petty back and forth with her. If she wants to run her yap, then she can go right ahead. Me? I’m here to do the one thing that she knows I’m better than her at: wrestling. If she feels so strong towards me, if she says she’s going to expose the “farce” I supposedly am, then why not give her the opportunity to do so? From what I’m hearing, we’ve got a new supercard coming up in a few weeks. Showdown in the Sun, that’s the name, right?
Amanda nods, confirming the name of the event.
Emily Carter: Well it can be on Night 1. Night 2. I really don’t care. All I care about is seeing if Mercy Williams can back up even a fraction of the smack that she’s been talking. So what do you say, “ol buddy ol pal”? Do you have the guts to accept? Are you going to meet me inside the ring at Showdown in the Sun? Or would you rather hide behind a microphone and sneak attacks, hmm? If you accept, I’ll give you credit for being courageous enough to take on the challenge. But credit won’t be the only thing I’ll be giving you if you accept, Mercy. I’ll also be giving you the beating that you so richly deserve.
The crowd cheers at the prospect of Emily taking it to Mercy.
Emily Carter: The ball is in your court, Merce. Don't drop it.

But Beltran brings her down with a lifting spinning hip throw for a two count. Beltran brings Williams back to her feet, moves her into the corner and delivers rapid fire corner shoot kicks. She then sends her into the opposite corner. From there, Beltran chargers across the ring and goes for a running corner chop. But Williams cuts her off with a running back elbow for a two count. The crowd boos as Williams gains the advantage and moves Beltran into the corner before delivering a series of shoulder thrusts. After bringing Beltran from out of the corner, Williams whips her towards the ropes. But Beltran uses the momentum to knock her down with a handspring enzuigiri. The cover gets two. At the five minute mark, Beltran reverses an irish whip and sends Williams into the ropes. When Williams returns, she goes for a running clothesline. Beltran tries to get out. But Williams has her legs locked on tight. She then begins to deliver elbows to Beltran’s head before letting go to make the cover. But she only gets a count of two. At eleven minutes in, Beltran reverses an irish whip attempt and sends Williams into the ropes. When Williams returns, Beltran throws out a kesagiri chop. But Williams ducks. When Beltran turns around, Williams scoops her up across her shoulders and falls back, hitting a Samoan Drop. Williams hooks the leg for the lazy cover. The show cuts backstage to where both members of The Gold Star Connection, and current 3GW Tag Team Champions, Lukas Gold and Layla Star are huddled around a monitor. He has his arm around her shoulders, and her hand is in his rear pants pocket. The belts are slung over their shoulders, and it’s Lukas who speaks first.
Lukas Gold: Damn, maybe it ain’t the Bueno Club we’ve gotta be worried about.
Layla Star: It might’ve just been an off week for them, babe.
She offers with a shrug of the shoulders, not letting recent results lower her opinion of the Bueno Club members.
Layla Star: Plus they’ve got their rematch clause.
Lukas Gold: Yeah I know, but they ain’t even responded to that challenge we set ’em. An’ now we’ve got the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad debuting soon – an’ they’ve been champions elsewhere so we know they’re good.
Layla Star: And Jaelynn’s got her tag partner coming in soon…
Lukas Gold: Apparently!
He quips in jest, but Layla doesn’t find it as funny as Lukas does.
Layla Star: She’ll find someone! There’s someone out there for everyone, and I know Jaelynn’s gonna find her somebody.
Lukas Gold:She’s lookin’ for a tag partner, babe, not a boyfriend.
The pair of them stare at one another until they realize the irony of his statement.
Lukas Gold: Ok, bad example. But do you really think one of ’em are really gonna challenge us for these belts?
Layla Star: She’s got a couple of wins under her belt, all the momentum and stuff. Peaches & Dan have held gold – he’s a champion over there in FGA. They’re probably stronger competition than the Bueno Club right now.
Lukas Gold: Lets start getting ready for them too then, just in case.
He says before giving his girlfriend a quick kiss on the cheek. They go back to watching the monitor as the show cuts back to ringside.
