BiWeekly Macy Moment 1x07

// Macy is standing backstage slapping her hands on the walls as she walks backstage in Tijuana, Mexico. She is fresh off her defeat of Jenny Knite in the first round of the Young Guns Cup. She flips over some tables and let’s out a primal scream, obviously excited about moving on to the next round. She sees a cameraman up ahead and decides to let her excitement move from physical to audible. \\

Macy Dover: You see that. You see what just happened out there? That’s what happens when people doubt what lengths I’ll go to in that ring to come out on top. I don’t compete to lose. I compete to be the best and to walk out of that ring with my hand raised.

// She pauses between words. \\

Macy Dover: Each… and… every… time.

// She swings her arm grabbing a water bottle off the catering table as she continues walking past it. \\

Macy Dover: Now I’m on to the second round of the Young Guns Cup and each and every one of you out there stupid enough to pick against me are losing money. I mean, I don’t even understand why you would think that Jenny Knite, the obvious underdog in this match was going to pull out the miracle it was going to take to beat me tonight.

// She stops taking a swig of the water bottle before throwing it against the wall. The water splashing out as it slams against it and falls to the floor. \\

Macy Dover: But you have another chance. It’s not too late to make some money in one of my matches. Obviously you’ve lost tonight, but you can recoup on the upcoming Challenge. Because after this high right here… I’m not letting a guy like Pedro Gonzales ruin things for me. Momentum is a strong, albeit, invisible force. And I’m not letting him take it away from me before the second round of this cup.

// Macy stops and shrugs at the camera. \\

Macy Dover: Does that mean you’ll see more of what you saw tonight at Challenge… I don’t know. But you will if that’s what it takes. I’m not losing at Challenge. New year, new me. That’s what everyone’s going to be telling you this week for Challenge. Every wrestler’s gonna come up with some stupid resolution to become the greatest wrestler since Andreas Lasiewicz.

// Macy stops in her tracks though. \\

Macy Dover: But a mouse can’t suddenly become a panther. An antelope can’t suddenly become a Leopard. A warthog can’t become an alligator. The strong stay strong, and the weak mask their weakness behind false hopes of becoming something that they never can be.

// Macy flexes, kissing her own bicep. \\

Macy Dover: I’m a Lion. Always have been and always will be. I run the plains of 3GW. And I’ll feed on every meerkat pretending to be a hippo that gets in my way. Pedro Gonzales, you’re out of your league. You’ll want to start the year off on the right foot. Good for you. But I’ve already started my year… and as everyone saw tonight… I’m still the predator I’ve always been.

// Macy stops and puts her hands on her hips as she watches SSWA security coming towards her. She shakes her head, wondering why a girl can’t celebrate a big win. \\

Macy Dover: You’re in for a fight Pedro. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it. It’s only a matter of whether or not people want to believe it. Once you accept the inevitable it’s much easier to move on from it. I’m going into challenger a winner, and leaving a winner. And heading to the second round of the Young Guns Cup the way I should be… on top.

// Macy signals to the security that she’s calmed herself. The shake their heads and gather about ten feet from her to keep an eye on her. \\

Macy Dover: You on the other hand may have a great year ahead of you. But it doesn’t start at Challenge. I’m ready to fight right now… I just hope that you’re ready to fight on Thursday. Because if you’re not, then you’ll find the same disappointment waiting for you that Jenny Knite did. But at least put up a fight like she did, be proud in the fact that maybe you made me sweat. Because in the end, that’s about all that gets my respect. Onward to Challenge and upward to round 2. Bulldover rolling… YES!

// Macy hypes herself up again drawing the attention of security as she walks into her locker room closing the door behind herself. \\
