CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Pic Base:
Michopa (Miyu Ikeda)
Gimmick:
Ai is a youthful veteran with a boat load of experience backing her (as well as a few personal demons). A technical wrestling Mistress who's a fan of the finer things in life such as literature, art, human nature, and theatre. She intends to utilize her 12 years of ring knowledge to succeed. After becoming close friends with the likes of Leanne Evangelista, Laurel Anne Hardy, Annie Zellor, and Jay Pride, Ai has become more of a hipster who walks to the beat of her own drum.
Strengths:
1. Experience: Having been in the ring from the time she was a little girl Ai has seen a lot happen in the wrestling business. She's considered to be wise beyond her years.
2. Technical Prowess: Due to having asthma and being unable to perform a lot of the dazzling moves her peers were able to Ai was trained to make due with other aspects of in-ring work.
3. Artistic: This helps more on the business side of things, however in the ring Ai can get creative with some holds and try to put her own spin on them.
Weaknesses:
1. Asthma: This is perhaps Ai’s biggest drawback. She aims to keep matches at a slower, more calculated pace the majority of the time because should they speed up enough, without access to her medicine or enough time to regroup, she could be in trouble.
2. Weight: As with anyone her size, when it comes time to face someone bigger than her she will be at a strength disadvantage.
3. Depression: Ever since the Kyoto Housefire Ai had not been herself, and it has affected her focus in the ring at times leading her to drop her guard more often.
Bio:
Han Ai was born in Guangzhou on October 11th, 1993 to a Chinese born wrestler/wrestling promoter from the Guangdong Province named HAN and a Japanese Joshi wrestler named Aiko Fukui. After Ai was born Aiko retired from wrestling at the age of 24 to stay at home and care for Ai along with her sister Ayumi Han. The family bounced back and forth between Kyoto, Japan and HAN's native China. Since Aiko couldn't manage a wrestling promotion when her father, Hamasaki, passed the office of Glory For Puroresu (located in Kyoto) was handed to HAN given the fact that he was now married to Aiko. Still, Ai lived a humble life despite her parents being well off.
She would grow up to find that while her mother kept love neutral between her children, HAN expressed more affection towards Ayumi than he did Ai. The reasons were obvious, Ayumi was always at the top of her class in school while Ai struggled to learn because she wasn't the brightest tool in the box. Ayumi was more athletically gifted than Ai was, Ai has asthma so she couldn't excel in athletics at the time. In HAN's mind Ayumi was the pride and joy. Ai was just the second daughter that could play cheerleader. That wore down on Ai mentally. When Ayumi jumped into the wrestling world at age seventeen she was given a ton of praise from HAN for her charisma and ability. Though other people saw that "charisma" as a bitter, spoiled attitude problem.
That's when Ai decided she wanted to jump in at the soft age of 10 (which wasn't unheard of in Joshi Wrestling). Despite giving Ai some pointers in the ring, Aiko never wanted her daughter to get into the business for fear that her daughter could suffer a fatal asthma attack one day. Ai wouldn't get permission from either HAN or Aiko. So when Joshi legend Ai Kikuchi was managing a GFP show (passing some knowledge onto Joshi talent) with no oversight from HAN, Ai pleaded to Kikuchi to let her try wrestling. Eventually Kikuchi cracked and gave Ai the chance, taking her under her wing to train. Kikuchi found that the young girl that shared her name was a natural. Ai's sister Ayumi was a flyer in the ring. Ai wanted to copy her older sister in hopes that her father would finally love her.
Kikuchi shot down any thoughts of being an aerial based wrestler. Instead training Ai to become a technical wrestler, which was safer for Ai's asthma problem. From there Ai worked with a goal to be the star daughter of her family.

Ring Entrance:
"Reach Out" by Hilary Duff blares through the P.A. System as Ai bursts out from behind the curtain! As Ai stood at the entrance smoke began to erupt each side of her - soon shrouding her body as the fans waiting with a bit of anticipation.
RING ANNOUNCER: Making her way to the ring from Kyoto City, Kyoto, Japan she is the most amazing Hafu in the history of the human race......
The Mistress began to run through the smoke in the direction of ring slapping hands with some of the fans who were in attendance to see some amazing competition. Once Ai was close to the ring she slid into it.
RING ANNOUNCER: “MISTRESSSSSSS” AIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!
Once Ai regained footing she ran towards one of the turnbuckles climbing up to the top of it as the crowd let out a wave of cheers for her. Well aware of her eccentric attitude and what it would bring to the squared circle. Ai then dropped down to await her opposition.
