Susan was kind of dreading how this visit will go. Gina and Becky had left to visit family for Christmas, Susan decided to invite her mom to come to Los Angeles for the holidays.
Susan made her way down the steps of her apartment building, and climbed into her car and headed to LAX to pick up her mom and Keller obviously, Susan pulled into the parking lot at LAX and made her way into the terminal, the airport was crowded which wasn’t surprising considering the time of year, she saw her mom and Keller making their way through the crowd, Susan waved to them and they walked over, Marsha went to hug Susan, Susan refused the hug instead deciding to just walk to the car, after loading the luggage they drove.
Marsha: So how are Susan, you haven’t spoken to me since Thanksgiving.
Susan: Sorry mom, I’ve been busy, you know with wrestling and modeling.
Marsha: I’ve seen some of the photos from your bikini shoot, and as your mom I have to say I don’t I like you showing that much skin, some of those bikini’s barely covered you.
Susan: I felt uncomfortable at first mom, but Kendra has given me so much confidence in myself.
Marsha: Either way I’m proud of you.
Susan: Thank -you mom.
The car pulls into the parking lot of the apartment building, where they exit and are later seen walking down the hall towards Susan’s apartment. Susan turns the key in the lock and they enter, Susan takes the bag to her room.
Marsha: We can use one or the other rooms Susan you don’t have to give up your room.
Susan: It’s okay really, I don’t mind, I’ll just camp out on the couch.
Keller: This is a really nice place you have here Susan.
Susan really didn’t care what Keller thought, but decided to keep that to herself at least for now.
Susan: Yeah, Becky and Gina are great, they have really made me welcome.
Keller: That’s great.
Marsha meanwhile is in the kitchen making dinner. They sit down and the silence was eerie, Susan decided to address the elephant in the room.
Susan: So mom, why didn’t you tell me about Keller and you, I have to hear from Lindsay that you're dating.
Keller: Were both sorry about that, really it kind of happened suddenly.
Susan: Lindsay said you have been together since I’ve been here in L.A.
Marsha: We were waiting for the right time but I guess that time has passed.
Susan: Yes.
The rest of the day and night was awkward and went by rather slowly, until Keller and Marsha turned for the night, well sort of, as Susan had to listen to her mom and Keller having sex, and thinking how rude that it was, Susan laid on the couch and covered her ears with her pillows and eventually fell to sleep. The next day the awkwardness continued and Susan was regretting asking her mom and Keller to come out to L.A. in the first place. As they are opening their Christmas presents, Susan shakes her head, Marsha opens her gift from Keller which has skimpy lingerie, Susan thought really Keller you couldn’t have given mom the skimpy underwear back home. Susan stood up and grabbed her 3GW hoodie.
Susan: I’m going for a walk.
Susan left the apartment, and later is walking down the street.
Susan: Have you ever made a decision that you later regret, I’m experiencing that right now, I thought that bringing my mom and Keller out here for Christmas, but that is proving to be a bad decision, but I have to deal with it for a few more days at least.
Susan walks into a gas station and buys a water, and is walking back towards her apartment.
Susan: I don’t know you Gabi and I don’t know what kind of life you’ve had, but it's probably can’t be any more awkward than it is right now, having to listen to my mom and Keller having sex kind of disgusting behaviour by them to be honest. But I’m sure nobody cares about that, so I’m gonna change the subject and focus on our upcoming match. I’ve seen you matches Gabi and you're a highly skilled wrestle, and being in this match with you can only help me improve, I look forward to facing you on December 29th at Challenge, and making you Star Struck.
Susan walks up the steps of the apartment building.
Susan: I see you later Gabi.
Susan enters the apartment building and the scene fades.
Final word count: 771
