★★★ FEATURED CONTEST ★★★
3GW 15 Championship Match
[c] BECKER GAINES vs. TERRENCE TILLMAN
As the beginning horn sound that starts “Forever” blasts through the arena, Terrence Tillman runs out to the stage. Running back and forth shouting and waving his arms in the air motioning for the fans to get on their feet. He stops in the center and stretches his arms out to either side shouting “It’s Time” at the top of his lungs. Tillman starts his march to the ring with a smile on his face, slapping hands of the kids in the audience letting out an occasional “Wooo!” or “Yeah baby!”
Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, the follow contest, scheduled for one fall, is your featuring contest of the evening and it is for the 3GW 15 CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, the challenger! From Orlando, Florida! Weighing in at 230 pounds! He is “Terrific” TERREEEEEENNNNNCCCCCE TILLLLLLMAAAAAAAAN!
Tillman rolls into the ring under the bottom rope and runs to each corner pointing to the fans, clapping his hands, and feeding off the crowd’s reaction.
Geoff Penzer: Terrence Tillman drew the ire of Jordan Cain several months ago when he refused Cain’s offer to make him a star. But one man that didn’t turn down the offer was Becker Gaines. Gaines and Cain have been in cahoots ever since. Some have even speculated that Gaines cost Tillman his match against Shintaro Majima as a favor to Cain. Maybe Gaines did it out of spite. Maybe it’s both. But one thing’s for sure. Gaines has made an enemy out of Tillman and that’s a decision that may prove costly here tonight.
“Hard to Handle” by the Black Crowes starts up on the PA, the opening drums kicking into the familiar beat of the old rock station hit. As it does Becker Gaines burst out from the curtain, a contemptuous smirk on his face as he takes in the crowd.
After a moment he nods his head before making his way down the ramp to the ring, his stride a full, exaggerated swagger in time with the song. He takes the stairs up onto the outside apron, shrugging off his ring jacket and dropping it to the mats for someone else to pick up before he rolls into the ring.
Melanie Sierra: And his oppo-
The match starts with Gaines running over and knocking down Tillman from behind. The crowd boos as Gaines gets down on his knees and hammers down with clubbing shots across the back of the neck.
Geoff Penzer: Gaines wastes little time as he jumps Tillman before the opening the bell. Gaines may be the Champion. But everyone, including Gaines, knows that he isn’t the wrestler that Tillman is.
The crowd continue to boo once Gaines gets to his feet and starts stomping away at Tillman. The Hollywood Staple reaches down, marches into the corner and goes to slam Tillman face-first onto the top turnbuckle. But Tillman gets his foot on the middle turnbuckle, breaking the hold. After elbowing Gaines in the midsection, Tillman grabs Gaines and slams him face-first into the top turnbuckle. The crowd counts along.
Crowd: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NIGHT! TEN!
Tillman turns Gaines around and lights up his chest with a series of knife edge chops that echo throughout the arena. Tillman then slaps the taste out of Gaines’ mouth before whipping him hard into the opposite corner. After Gaines back collides with the turnbuckles, he staggers from out of the corner and over towards Tillman, who throws him down with a big back body drop. After Gaines back crashing onto the canvas, the crowd cheers as Gaines sits up and can be seen arching his back in pain. But Tillman shows no remorse as he repeatedly kicks Gaines in the small of the back. He then picks up Gaines and whips him into the far ropes. When Gaines returns, Tillman grabs him by the back of the neck, runs and tosses him over the top rope and to the floor. The crowd cheers as Gaines crashes to the outside.
Geoff Penzer: Gaines got the jump on Tillman right as the match started. But it has been all Tillman ever sense! He’s been waiting for several weeks to put this hurtin’ on Jordan Cain’s golden boy! If Tillman, or anyone else, tosses Gaines out like that tomorrow night, it’s over for the alleged “Hollywood Staple”.
After rolling to the outside, Tillman shakes his head as he stalks a now retreating Gaines on the floor. Gaines can be seen scooting himself back before getting back to his feet and rolling back into the ring. But Tillman is right on his tail as he slides back in. After both men return to their feet, Gaines puts his hands out as he tries to call Tillman down. But Tillman doesn’t want to hear any of that. So he charges at Gaines. The 3GW 15 Champion sees Tillman coming, so he backs up. But unbeknownst to him, he accidentally backs himself into the corner. So Tillman runs up onto the middle ropes and punches Gaines while the crowd counts along.
Crowd: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN!
After hopping down, Tillman takes Gaines and whips him into the opposite corner. Triple T then runs, jumps from the center of the ring and goes for a Corner Splash. But Gaines dives out of the way, causing Tillman to crash into the corner. The crowd boos as Tillman stumbles away from the ropes. Gaines then grabs Tillman from behind, runs and tosses him over the top rope and to the floor.
Geoff Penzer: Gaines was able to move out of the way of that corner splash just in the nick of time. After Tillman crashed into the corner, he took advantage and heaved him over the top rope and to the floor. Just like before, if that happens to Tillman tomorrow night, he’s out of the Rumble.
While Tillman tries to get up off the floor, Gaines runs over and knocks him down with a baseball slide to the face. Gaines the slips out to the floor before putting the boots to Tillman once more. Gaines reaches down, picks up Tillman and delivers a scoop slam across the edge of the apron. After Tillman bounces off the apron and falls back to the floor, Gaines picks him up off the floor and throws him down with another scoop slam. While Tillman is down, Gaines peels back the apron and exposed the concrete floor underneath.
Geoff Penzer: Gaines with some evil intentions in mind after pulling off the protective padding on the floor.
Gaines picks up Tillman and throws him down with a scoop slam onto the exposed concrete floor. The crowd boos as Tillman’s back collides with the exposed floor. Gaines picks Tillman back up and throws him down with another scoop slam. Another thud can be heard as Tillman’s body falls onto the hard, unforgiving floor. But the champion is far from done. He reaches down, pulls Tillman back up and delivers a snap suplex onto the exposed floor. Tillman yelps while he arches his back in pain.
Geoff Penzer: Gaines has relentlessly gone after the back of Tillman! I don’t like the fact that he’s used the exposed floor. But he’s been able to effectively slow down Tillman. Which is good for him, since this match was starting to really get away from him.
While the ref kneels down and checks on Tillman, Gaines goes over towards the timekeeper’s table and grabs a hold of the black cable wire.
Geoff Penzer: What in the world is he doing now.
After marching back over and nudging the ref out of the way, Gaines sits up Tillman before wrapping the wire around his neck and choking him with it. The crowd erupts with boos while Tillman fails his arms.
Geoff Penzer: Now the ref really needs to get in there and get this match back inside the ring! Someone could get seriously hurt out here!
The ref finally nudges Gaines out of the way before unwrapping the wire from around Tillman’s neck. Tillman can be seen gasping for air. But again, gaines shows no remorse as he goes back on the assault with stomps to the chest. He then reaches down, yanks up Tillman, marches down ringside and slams him face-first onto the steeps steps. Gaines pulls his head up before slamming him down face-first across the steps again. Gaines pulls Tillman back before rolling him back into the ring. Gaines then slides back in and makes the cover.

Geoff Penzer: Three straight nearfalls for Gaines. The 15 Champion is trying to put his nemesis away. But Tillman keeps on fighting back.
After sitting up Tillman, Gaines applies a fish hook. The crowd boos as Gaines tries to rip apart Tillman’s mouth. The ref sees this and immediately gives Gaines until the count of five to release the illegal hold.
Ref: ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…
Gaines breaks the hold. He then transitions into a rear chinlock. The ref gets down and asks Tillman if he wants to give up. When Tillman refuses to quit, Gaines jerks back.
Geoff Penzer: Tillman is in tremendous pain right now, especially after having his back and neck worked over early on in this match. The 15 Championship is so close, yet so far away from Tillman right now.
A shot from outside the ring shows Tillman reaching out. But to what? Another shot from behind the two reveals Tillman reaching out for the 15 Championship belt, which is glistening in the light as it sits atop the timekeeper’s table. The production crew switches back to the traditional camera view, where we see Tillman cringing in pain after Gaines applies more pressure.
Geoff Penzer: Gaines would love nothing more than to defeat his nemesis here tonight. But don’t so by submission would just add insult to injury.
The ref checks with Tillman and asks if he wants to give up. But once again, Tillman refuses. Tillman begins to shake his arm once he hears the “TRIPLE T! TRIPLE T! TRIPLE T!” chants begin to take over Center Stage Arena. Tillman begins feeding off the energy of his fans, the T-Unit. Tillman slowly turns over onto his knees. As Tillman slowly returns to a vertical base, Gaines can be seen shaking his head in disbelief. Tillman then nails him with four elbows to the midsection. The last elbow breaks the hold. Once Tillman is free, he takes off into the ropes. When Tillman returns, Gaines swings around him and applies a sleeper hold.
Geoff Penzer: Tillman is trapped again!
Tillman reaches both arms out. But he’s nowhere near the ropes. He then reaches back, grabs Gaines by the hair with both hands and pulls him down into a kneeling jawbreaker, breaking the hold. The crowd cheers as Gaines stumbles back into the corner. The Hollywood Staple clutches his jaw after being on the receiving end of the jawbreaker. After Gaines pulls his hands away from his mouth, Gaines looks down at his hand and sees that blood has been drawn. When Tillman pulled him down into the jawbreaker, Gaines accidentally bit on the edge of his tongue. Gaines slowly looks over at Tillman with fury in his eyes.
Once Tillman slowly returns to his feet and turns around, Gaines runs from out of the corner to attack. He puts on the brakes when Tillman throws out a kick to the midsection. But Gaines sees it coming, so he easily grabs a hold of the foot. But before Gaines can counter...
*THWACK!… Tillman follows up with a dragonwhip kick, which knocks Gaines down to cheers from the crowd.
Geoff Penzer: Now it appears that Gaines is bleeding from the mouth. It looks like that dragonwhip busted open Gaines’ bottom lip.

While Gaines stumbles back, Tillman turns to face the corner before going for the Terry-sault (double jump moonsault). But Gaines sees it coming and runs towards the ropes. After Tillman lands on his feet, he leaps up and brings Gaines down with Pride Before the Fall.
After dragging Gaines into position, Tillman steps out onto the apron, scales to the top turnbuckle and goes for the Skyfall (450 Splash). Gaines is able to roll out of the way. But Tillman is somehow able to land on his feet. However, once he lands, his momentum sends him rolling forward. After Tillman gets back to his feet and turns around, Gaines runs over and goes to sock him with a haymaker. But Tillman ducks. When Gaines turns around, Tillman doubles him over with a boot to the midsection before knocking him down with the Terrific Kick (scissors kick). Tillman then reaches down, pulls up Gaines from behind, hooks both arms and delivers a release Tiger Suplex that leaves Gaines folded up.
Geoff Penzer: Tillman nearly broke Gaines in half with that suplex!

Melanie Sierra: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match…. And now, the NNNNNNNEEEEEE-
Just as Terrence Tillman was able to be announced as the new 15 Champion, Cain snatches the mic out of Sierra’s hand.
Jordan Can: Hold your horses, people.
The crowd boos as the Mayor of Hollywood has taken the mic.
Jordan Cain: Ladies and gentlemen, that was an excellent main event, yah?
The crowd explodes with cheers after the match they just saw.
Jordan Cain: Tillman, you showed these people a lot out there tonight. But you wanna know what you showed me, T? You showed me that despite all of your athletic ability, you still don’t know how to get the job done!
Cain grins while the crowd starts to boo him.
Jordan Cain: So since you couldn’t get the one-two-three before the 15 minute time limit expired, I regret to inform you that this match……………...is a DRAW!
Cain grins once more as Tillman throws his arms up in disbelief.
Jordan cain: Thereforrrrrrr, the man that is STILLLLLLLLLL your 3GW 15 Champion, The Hollywood Staple himself, BECKER GAINES!
The crowd erupts with boos as Gaines retains the championship thanks to a time limit draw. But the boos are soon drowned out by chants of “FIVE!!!” Tillman makes his way over to the ropes and holds up his hand to Cain.
Jordan Cain: What is that, Mr. Tillman? You want five more minutes, yah?
Tillman nods.
Jordan Cain: Is that what you all want? You want to see five more minutes!
The crowd chants “YES! YES! YES!”
Jordan Cain: WELL THAT’S TOO DAMN BAD! You don’t make the rules, Tillman! I’m the Mayor of Hollywood! I make the rules and I say that you don’t get ANYTHING! You couldn’t get the job done in the allotted time! So that’s it! It’s over! Better luck next time!
The crowd continues to boo Cain’s decision.
Jordan Cain: Don’t boo me, BOO TILLMAN!
Cain frowns at some of the unruly fans as he tosses down the mic. But as soon as Cain motions to head towards the aisle, Tillman rolls to the outside and blocks his path. Cain realizes how tense the situation is. So he turns and runs around towards the other side of the ring. But Tillman rolls back inside, runs across the ring, slides to the outside and cuts him off. Cain’s eyes widen when he realizes he’s trapped. He turns and looks toward Becker Gaines. But Gaines is still out of it.
Geoff Penzer: He’s not gonna… no. Tillman wouldn’t attack Cain, right?
Cain then turns to climb over the guardrail. But Tillman grabs him from behind.
Geoff Penzer: Oh no. This isn’t good. This isn’t good…
Tillman takes Cain and rolls him into the ring. After Tillman slides back in, Cain backs himself into the corner and calls for a timeout. But Tillman continues to slowly approach him. Panicking, Cain digs into his pockets and hands Tillman all the money in his wallet. Tillman smiles as he takes the money and counts up all the 50s and 100s… before doubling Cain over with a kick to the midsection. The crowd cheers as Tillman drags Cain away from the ropes and knocks him down with the Terrific Kick!
Geoff Penzer: Terrence Tillman has just kicked our boss!
But he’s not done!
After dragging Cain over towards the corner, Tillman steps out onto the apron. He waves his arms up and down, getting the hyped crowd even more riled up. After climbing up to the top turnbuckle with authority, Tillman looks down and sneers at Cain before flipping off and crashing on top of Cain with the Skyfall! The crowd erupts with cheers as Cain convulses on the canvas.
Geoff Penzer: Cain just got hit with the Skyfall! Tillman just delivered the Skyfall to the Mayor of Hollywood! If this is how Night 1 ends, what in the world is in store tomorrow night for Night 2!?
Forever blasts over the PA as Tillman snatches the 15 Championship from the ref before tossing it down on top of Gaines. Triple T then raises his arms as the crowd does the same in return.
