”Well, she was pretty.”
“Who? Avaset? Haha, yeah, she’s hot isn’t she? Want me to send you a Polaroid, you perv?”
”Hm. Feel inferior out there?”
“HMMMM. I dunno. I was high off a win. I’ll have to get back to you.”
”She earned herself a name.”
“Oooh. Yeah. ‘Killer Queen’, right? That sounds pretty nice.”
”More than you’ve been doing, isn’t it?”
“You just can’t give me a break, can you? I’ve been back in the ring for a month. Give me a sec!”
”I shouldn’t give you a break. You need to be pushed. I’m not there to do it in person… and speaking of which--”
“Soon. I just have to get a few things worked out first.”
”It seems to be taking forever.”
“I know. Be patient.”
”So who’s next? Is it Avaset?”
“Nooo, haha, I wish.”
”Who?”
“Gabi Beltran. She’s… she’s different. Kind of intense. Kind of scary. I don’t know a lot about her. I know her name is definitely pronounced like Bell-Tron though. And it’s really important that I don’t fuck that up.”
”Is she liable to hit you harder based on proper pronunciation?”
“Yes.”
”Seems like my new favorite wrestler.”
“She really, really likes violence. Like-- she really, really, really likes gratuitous violence.”
’Don’t you?”
“No!”
”Perhaps try to avoid all that then.”
“Five-star advice.”
”I do what I can.”
“I’m not sure what I’ll need to do to beat her-- she seems more serious and more focused than Cassius did last week, but I’ll figure it out. I’ll dedicate it to you or something sweet like that, haha.”
”Treat it more seriously than you treated him. Sounds like that would serve you best.”
“I’ve got this under control.”
”You do?”
“Yeah. I think so! I wouldn’t be doing it right if I wasn’t a little, ummm… scared… right? That’s what you said anyway.”
”...be safe, Jen.”
“Mmmm, you too. I guess this means you’re hanging up on me now.”

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
Sigh.
We fade into color as Jenny Knite turns her handheld camera onto herself. She appears to be sitting on the front porch of her Los Angeles home. She looks off into the distance as the sun sets in the background, casting a blood-orange tint over the sky.
”I don’t have a lot of to go on. I know how intense you are. The world saw that pretty clearly when Amanda tried to get an interview a couple weeks ago on Thursday Night Challenge. I saw that you didn’t have any intention to joke. I saw that you just wanted to come in and fight somebody. You didn’t care if it was me or a champion or the interviewer-- you just wanted gratuitous violence. And I can respect that, I guess. If we didn’t have a little bit of this sick, inexplicable bloodlust we wouldn’t be doing this, but… it’s so much different with you.
I knew Dooder3G wanted to beat me. I know Avaset Kaiser wants to make me tap out and embarrass me in front of my peers and the rest of the world. And you haven’t said it to me but I know you want to hurt me in ways they didn’t, Gabi. You don’t care who you hurt-- you just want it. And who knows where you’ll stop. You probably can’t decide!
So I’ll have to stop you before you get that far and before you have to make that decision for yourself. I’ll have to take out your leg before you even think about the wheel kick and just like I did to Cassius a week ago, I’ll look for the Calf Slicer, or I’ll cut you down until I can hit the Knitefall and then people like Avaset-- they won’t sit at ringside and fantasize about beating me down or ‘getting comfortable’ by making me tap out.
They’ll see Jenny Knite prevailing over the most intense, most focused competitor in Glitz, Glamour, and Glory, Gabi Beltran. Avaset will see me prevailing over Gabi Beltran and there’ll be no more talk about her getting comfortable at my expense-- it’s gonna be an uncomfortable win. It’s gonna be an uncomfortable match. And… you know what, good. Maybe that’s what people need to see.
Gabi, maybe that’s what you need to see if I’m gonna make it out of this in one piece.”
With a wink, Jenny kills the feed. We cut to black.
